is covered in clothing,
like a mitten or glove,

gather magic through it.
In this covered state,
the blue fire
will still spread,

that magical energy behaves
like a flammable substance.
For now, that just means
it's super dangerous
without any real practical use.

it's a worthy experiment,
it seems our goal
of manipulating fire
is much further out of reach
