takes the role of leader Hey, listen up! You guys clear? Run your mouth, Mike.
But his trash talking is bringing down his team.
You little Run your mouth.
The Red Team wins the primitive weapons challenge.
That's it! Red Team wins! Anybody want to come with me? You know, I'll throw myself in.
Two Blue Team members step up and volunteer to face the music.
Jake didn't say anything about his performance, and we weren't really expecting him to.
He's not gonna throw himself out there for elimination.
An explosive challenge with authentic 19th-century army cannons Keeps Mike in the competition.
That's a hit! Jarrett, unfortunately, you have fired your last shot.
There are shots that changed history Feats of legendary skill and extreme precision.
Now 16 of today's best marksmen have been chosen.
They come from all over the country and from all walks of life.
Amateurs and professionals, military, recreation, and exhibition shooters.
Each shows the timeless skills of a true marksman Not just with one weapon, with any weapon.
They will compete in a gauntlet of challenges until only one remains, to claim the $100,000 prize and the title of "Top Shot.
" Oh, my God.
- How are you, buddy? - It was a good battle.
You know, I want to be excited for Mike, but at the same time, you know, it's really really hard to watch my buddy go.
It was a good battle.
I'm coming back to the house with inertia of, "okay, I got a win, and I got to shoot more and do more," it's good for the spirit and soul, too.
Jarrett kind of gave me a mental leg up in the competition because it just makes things a whole lot easier in the house knowing that you got your buddy there with you.
And you know, now he's Now he's gone, so I've got to deal with this stuff on my own.
I mean, how are you still here? How do you avoid elimination - I'm the better shooter.
- I went to elimination.
I earned my I earned my badge, yeah.
I'll give you that.
I'll give you that.
You sent mark home.
I'll give you that.
Blue Team walks into the kitchen after this elimination, and Jake is acting like they just came off of a win.
For some reason, he's in a good mood, whistling, talking crap, as usual.
I mean, the only reason I can see him talking crap is because he dodged the bullet of the nomination.
You can go on and on.
You still know I'd whup your ass.
Hey, Billy.
Pow! Pow! Jake In some of these group settings, he just goes way off the reservation.
Right.
When's the last time you just bawled your Holy do you ever shut up? No, not really.
When is the last time you broke down crying? When it isn't funny.
Every one of us came into this competition just wanting to demonstrate, you know, marksmanship and maybe character and good sportsmanship.
Jake's ruining that for the entire house.
Mike, at some point, you got to hit something.
Do you know what I mean? No, seriously.
At some point, you just got to get lucky and hit something.
I'm not gonna stop riding Mike until he leaves the house.
That's the bottom line.
Some people may say, "well, you know, is that really fair?" This, that, and the other.
You know, at the end of the day, I need him to continue to go up there on the firing line and choke, and it's been instrumental in us winning.
- I told you - I'm a wolf.
Morning, shooters.
- Morning.
- Morning.
Well, with Jarrett eliminated, the title of history's Top Shot and the 100 grand that goes along with it.
Today, we're gonna enter the world of special weapons and tactics, otherwise known as S.

First things first you're gonna need a special weapon.
We got that covered.
Meet the VLTOR TS3.
This gun is so new and cutting-edge that "Top Shot" has received the very first production models ever made.
The VLTOR is a groundbreaking weapon developed for S.

Teams around the country.
It's based on the M4 carbine and represents a remarkable leap in technology.
Its state-of-the-art recoil and buffer systems make it incredibly reliable and comfortable to shoot.
The skill you're gonna need in practice is shooting under stress.
All right, Jeff Gonzales is here to help you.

team needs a strong leader, which is why we're adding one more ingredient to this little medley.
Welcome back "Top Shot" season-1 winner Iain Harrison and season-2 winner Chris Reed.
Awesome.
- Very cool.
- Fellas.
I'm a little starstruck right now.
It's really amazing to see these people in person.
Iain, fill me in.
What's been going on, brother? I had a really good year so far since "Top Shot.
" I changed careers.
I moved from construction industry to full time in the firearms business now.
Chris, how has your world changed since winning "Top Shot"? My world has definitely been more exciting.
Signing a few autographs here and there? A few autographs, man.
The kids have came out of the woodwork.
Signed more red ryder bb guns and bow and arrows than I ever imagined I would have, and it's It's been truly awesome, man.
It's been a blessing.
Well, right on.
Well, welcome back.
I was really excited when Colby introduced Iain and Chris, two regular guys who are phenomenal shooters, came on the show, and did exactly what I'm doing now.
All right.
These guys are gonna be your honorary team captains for this S.
W.
A.
T.
team practice and challenge.
Iain and Chris are here to watch you practice and offer a few insights based on their experience in this competition.
They are also here to train you to win.
Iain's gonna captain the Blue Team.
Chris will be joining you guys on the Red Team.
Head on over, fellas.
Real nice to meet you.
- Nice to meet you.
- Pleasure.
All right, let's get to it.
Red Team, you guys will train first.
Blue Team, you can head back to the house.
You'll practice later.
Good luck.
See you at the challenge.
Bull's-eye.
No, hold on.
No, it ain't bull's-eye.
I don't see it.
Do you see it, Chris? We start shooting at the targets, and we have a set of binoculars that we can spot with, but it was pretty obvious that it was gonna be hard to actually gauge the impact of the round and find where that round's impacting Make adjustments on the fly And it was burning up a considerable amount of our time.
I don't got any of you.
Y'all are never gonna be able to do it like this, dude.
Y'all are gonna have to take one of the damn rocks out there and start shooting at it.
- In the berm? - I would.
Yeah, just so you see where your splash is? Yep, yep.
When Chris said, "let's switch to the dirt.
"Do you see that dirt mound? Let's hit that.
You see that rock over there? Let's hit that," not only did it make perfect sense Everybody on the team felt the same thing.
That's on.
Trigger.
- Low right.
- A foot low right.
- Good.
Hit it.
- There you go.
- Nice.
- Good.
So, everybody started to get involved.
Everybody You know, it was instant.
Did he hit? Did he not? You know, we didn't have to have binos to see.
We could all call out shots for one another.
But that's something to aim at.
That's good, you know? - You can see what you hit, yeah.
- Yeah.
It brought a new level of, I guess, excitement.
And it sounds ridiculous that switching from a target to dirt would do that, but instantaneous it worked.
Here you go, Mikey.
That's what it takes to be a Top Shot here, baby.
Get that butt down.
You look like a humpback whale.
I don't care.
You got to have confidence in your teammates.
Any negativity is gonna tear the group apart.
You need to pat each other on the back, congratulate each other on when they make a good shot Easy.
Smoke it.
And just be very supportive, you know, of your other teammates and work together as a group.
And I was very impressed with the Red Team.
Right on it.
You split the rock! It broke the rock.
First shot You broke the rock, buddy.
- Good shot.
- Nice job.
Good round.
I feel good Very good.
- 6:00.
- Bull's-eye.
- Bull's-eye.
- Dead center.
- Are you serious? - You guys are screwing with me.
All right, well, you look through the binoculars.
Don't shoot no more.
- One more.
- No, Mike.
The? Blue Team practice This is the first time I'm meeting the guys, so I'm pretty much just stepping back a little, and I just want to observe what's going on here.
And what I'm seeing is a bunch of guys Bunch of Alpha males, who are jockeying for position.
There's a lot of bravado.
Really, they're wasting the opportunity to have a really topflight trainer teach them what they're gonna need in order to prevail in their team challenge.
You just put two dead center, and you want to keep shooting.
- We're gonna argue about it? - We're wasting time.
- No, let's keep going.
- Let's go.
What's the plan? We're just gonna keep shooting what? You know, it is what it is.
I'm not gonna sit there and beat them over the head to do well, but then, we got out there, and everything started going to I thought we were gonna go two on every gun.
All right.
Well, if we're okay.
I don't I don't really care what we do, man.
So, we They went into that practice with no prior preparation.
We didn't have any walk-throughs, we didn't have a lineup list for shooting, and it just went like crap.
So, we're coming over the hill, and we see what looks like to be a giant jungle gym, connected by bunches of "ropies" and ladders and stuff like that, along with targets way out far.
We walk into the challenge, and there's a ropes course between the platforms.
We're all familiar with the weapon.
And we know the Blue Team's a little more physically fit than Red Team.
We're like, "we got it.
We got it.
" - Good morning, Chris.
- What's going on, buddy? - Good morning.
- Chris, morning to you.
Good morning.
Easy breezy, man.
Easy breezy.
Morning, marksmen.
- Morning.
- Morning.
Welcome to the team challenge.
I want to hear how practice went.
First, I'm gonna go to the team captains.
Iain, how'd practice go for the Blue Team? Practice went pretty good, Colby.
We've got some good shooters on this team.
And looking at the challenge this morning, I think they're gonna smoke it.
Oh, yeah? Feeling pretty good, huh? Mm-hmm.
Chris Reed, give me the report.
We got it, man.
Our practice session yesterday went awesome.
You know, we kind of did some things unorthodox Picking our targets and stuff like that, worked on a few drills, and I feel pretty confident that the Red Team's gonna take the victory to the house.
Well, let's get to it.
I'm gonna let you guys know there is more at stake here for Chris and Iain than just bragging rights.
They have both chosen a charity that will receive $5,000 if their team wins.
For Iain, Blue Team is playing for the Wounded Warriors project.
And for Chris, the Red Team is playing for the Make-a-Wish foundation.
- How cool is that, huh? - Outstanding.
You know, there's gonna be a $5,000 donation made to either charity, so, you know, hey, even if we don't win, somebody's gonna win, so that's cool.
All right, let's get to it.

team members are put through rigorous physical exercises to make sure they're always prepared for any high-risk scenario they may face.
This challenge is inspired by these real-life exercises, so prepare to break a sweat.
Out on the range are five shooting platforms.
Beyond each platform, two exploding targets One at 75 yards, and one at 100 yards.
Connecting the platforms are a series of ropes.
Shooter number 1, on my go, you must climb up an 8-foot cargo net to reach the shooting deck then use the VLTOR TS3 to take out its two targets.
When that's done, the next shooter, who's already stationed on the platform, will use a single, downward-angle rope to lower himself to platform 2, After he explodes his targets, the next shooter must use vertical parallel ropes to reach platform 3.
When he hits, the next shooter crosses the 16-foot gap using horizontal, parallel rope.
Once those targets are taken out, the final shooter must use a single elevated rope to get across to the last platform.
Time ends at the explosion of the final target.
And you have to take turns running the course.
The team with the fastest time wins.
Make sense? All right, let's get to it.
Red Team, you guys get to sit a member of the Blue Team.
Remember, because they sat out last time, Alex and Paul will be competing today.
Who's it gonna be? Red Team decided they wanted to sit out Dustin this go-around.
Dustin On the bench today.
- We're gonna sit out Dustin.
- He's light.
He's nimble.
He should be able to get over these obstacles fast, and he's, so far, been the most accurate shooter on their team.
It's a jungle gym.
We had to.
We know you got one of these at your camp.
Coming up on "Top Shot" Boom.
Big explosion.
Come on, Paul! Talk to him! Where are those rounds landing?! Paul's move down the rope is really, really dynamic.
Oh, yeah, here we go! Remember, there's even more at stake today.
If the Red Team wins, you earn $5,000 for the Make-a-Wish foundation.
And if the Blue Team wins, you're gonna earn $5,000 for the Wounded Warriors project.
Red Team, we flipped a coin.
You guys are up first.
Blue Team, so that you do not have an unfair advantage, you're gonna have to step away from the course until it is your turn.
Red Team, head up to the starting line.
- Let's do this.
- All right.
Let's do this.
Good luck, guys.
And we decide we're gonna start out with Phil.
He's the quickest, he's the lightest, and we know the cargo net is definitely the toughest.
And then everything based off that was just based on body type and our ability to navigate the obstacles.
Go, Red Team.
Marksmen, ready SetGo! Phil first on the course for the Red Team.
He's hustling up the cargo net.
Nice.
Nice.
Phil's already up on the platform, getting the VLTOR TS3 loaded up.
Shooting at his first target at 75 yards.
Low! Low! Phil steps up for the Red Team first, and I start calling out misses.
Boom, you know, he busts the 75-yard target Big explosion.
You got e 100.
Low.
High.
- Phil - The 100-yard target.
Come on, Gary.
Good shot.
Come on, Gary.
Red Team moving on.
You're there.
You're there.
You're there.
Gary trying to make it across the rope.
He is safely onto his platform.
All right, loading up the VLTOR.
Gary engaging his first target at 75 yards.
Low! High! Chris Reed, team captain spotting for the Red Team.
Gary hits his 75-yard target.
Now he's moving on to the 100.
- You're good.
You're good.
- Come on, Mikey! Stay on the ropes, big guy.
Thataboy.
Michael Marelli crossing the ropes.
Smooth be smooth.
He's getting his VLTOR loaded up.
- Take your time and get a good shot.
- Let's go, Mike! Red Team communicating.
Marelli sending some rounds downrange.
High again.
Come on, Mike.
Marelli still trying to hit.
Low! Low, Mikey, low! He hits his 100-yard target.
Good shot! Nice shot, Mike! Marelli hits the 100-yard target in one shot.
Come on, Cliff! Cliff crossing the parallel ropes.
He makes it across to his platform.
This is a gun Cliff is very unfamiliar with.
He doesn't shoot them.
He's a revolver guy.
Nice.
Cliff hits the 75-yard target in one shot! Cliff took two shots.
He hit both targets with his first shot.
It was It was pretty incredible.
Chris, the final leg for the Red Team.
Cliff absolutely crushes his stage.
Take your time.
- Chris makes it across.
- You're rocking.
You're rocking.
Smooth is fast, dude.
You've got it.
Take your time.
Take your time.
Chris Reed Still coaching over here.
High! Chris sending rounds down.
Low! Right high! Chris misses.
Chris hits the 75 yards target.
Time! All right! Way to move, guys! That's it right there, buddy! So, as soon as I fire my last shot and it explodes, hey, that's the best we can do.
It's done.
Throw the hands in the air.
Look over on the platform with Colby Chris Reed's clapping.
He's saying, "that's a hell of a run.
" We got it, man.
Nice job, guys.
Y'all got it, baby.
Probably put up a beatable score, but I think the Blue Team's gonna have to bring their "a" game in order to come come away with the win.
Well, we basically went with our worst-to-best lineup physically, so that would put Billy first and Mike last.
Marksmen, ready SetGo! Go, Billy! Go, go, go, go! Billy first on the course for the Blue Team, making his way up the cargo net.
The challenge starts.
I'm thinking, "I'm the biggest dude on this team.
Why am I going up the net?" You got it, Billy! Let's go, buddy.
Billy taking a little bit of time getting up there.
I got you.
Slow squeeze.
Slow squeeze.
Take your time.
Now Billy's having a problem getting the magazine loaded.
- Bang that mag in.
- Beat it.
There you go.
Sending some rounds downrange.
Billy misses on his first shot.
You're at Billy misses the 75-yard target on his second shot.
High.
You're high, yeah.
Six shots downrange.
Seven.
You're low.
Now you're at 4:00.
Billy just couldn't get himself dialed in right away.
About an inch off, low.
Billy has got Paul spotting for him.
Come on, Paul! Talk to him! Where are those rounds landing?! Instead of moving his point of aim and trying to get the bullet to impact a different part of the target, Billy he just put round after round in the same place.
You're low.
The Blue Team needs to communicate, let Billy know where his there you go.
There it is! Finally, he gets his 75-yard target.
Now Billy's moving on to the second target, and he hits that.
Paul's move down the rope is really, really dynamic.
He's moving hand over hand, and he's really making up time now.
Paul now taking off on the ropes course.
There you go, Paul.
Making it over to the second platform.
Breathe slow.
Breathe slow.
Take a deep breath.
Getting his VLTOR loaded up.
Paul now engaging the 75-yard target.
- First shot downrange is a miss.
- Low! High left.
Iain now doing some spotting for the Blue Team.
Hit! Oh, it's a 100-yards target.
- Now Alex can go.
- Go, go, go! Making his way across the parallel ropes.
Gets to the platform.
He's getting loaded up.
Jake's gonna be spotting for him.
Alex Sending the round downrange.
Low right.
Misses the 75-yard target.
Go left a little bit.
On target.
High! Your bullet's high! Alex misses the 100-yard target on his first four shots.
Alex, bring it down! That hits! Now Jake can move across the rope.
Jake flying across the ropes for the Blue Team.
Mike, on the spot, is scoping for Jake.
Jake engages the 75-yard target.
Low.
Low.
Jake's sending rounds downrange.
Yeah! There we go! And Jake hits the 75 yards.
Now he's got to hit the 100.
Mike is just waiting for his chance to go.
Yeah! That's it.
Jake makes short work of it.
Mike on the final rope length of this course.
Mike makes it across.
Here we go.
First target's at 75 yards.
Trigger squeeze slow.
Mike misses on his first two shots.
High! Mike's shooting high.
Mike hits it! One target left for the Blue Team.
Nice work.
Nice shooting, guys.
Blue Team's performance today Nobody's actually done anything spectacularly bad, but nobody's done anything really quick, either, and collectively, you know, when you add all this time together, I think it's gonna be really tight.
Well, guys, that looked like a fun challenge.
- Absolutely.
- Great.
Blue Team, you completed the course in 3 minutes, 12 seconds.
Good run.
Red Team, you guys completed the course in 2 minutes, 26 seconds.
- Yes! - Yes! All right! Whoo! Thanks, Chris.
Thanks for all your help.
Turns out, it was 2 minutes and 27 seconds, it's almost over When you add it up, it's unbelievable.
We smoked the Blue Team.
Congratulations, Red Team.
You guys win the team challenge, and you are all safe.
Good job, guys.
Blue Team, you guys now have a few hours to make some tough decisions about who you're gonna send to the elimination challenge.
A win for the Red Team is also a win for Chris Reed.
Your charity, the Make-a-Wish foundation, is gonna get a donation of $5,000.
Fantastic.
You guys can head back to the house.
Blue Team, see you at the nomination range.
All right.
That's what we like to hear.
For the Red Team to come out ahead, you know, by a minute's margin, is spectacular.
I could not have been prouder of them.
Everything worked just like it was supposed to.
They were They were operating, you know, like a well-oiled machine.
Again, thanks for everything, man.
It's been a pleasure.
And then to help them get this win And it also feels wonderful to know that the $5,000 is going to the Make-a-Wish charity, and I know the money will be wisely spent.
Coming up on "Top Shot" Anybody wanting to go home? If I had to throw out two cats, it would probably be Jake and Billy.
I knew he was waiting for an opportunity to get my name into elimination.
You two are about to use a revolutionary weapon system rarely used by anybody, the Cornershot.
Anybody wanting to go home? If it were just based on today's performance, I'd definitely be in.
I would definitely grade my performance as the worst today.
If everyone else wants to vote for me, no problem.
Where would you put your bullet? I'd probably put mine in yours, Paul, to be honest.
You know, Billy took the most shots today, but Paul he's taken a lot of shots in this competition, too.
If I had to throw out two cats, it would probably be Jake and Billy.
Jake performed reasonably well today, but, you know, team dynamics plays a bit into it, too.
You've got to have a good attitude and such, and Jake's been drifting in his attitude a little bit.
I'm not necessarily sure I'm the person to go.
I knew he was waiting for an opportunity to get my name into elimination, and that's fine.
I mean, that's who he is.
That's what he thinks is gonna help the team.
He'll pay for it later.
Blue Team, welcome back to the nomination range.
Well, let's get to the vote.
Billy, you'll start things off.
Obviously, I don't want to go to elimination, so I picked Paul.
That's one vote for Paul, and, Paul, you are next.
I think Billy's a phenomenal shooter.
I think he deserves to be a part of the team.
But if you had to pick somebody who had the biggest mess-up of the day, I think that was Billy.
- One vote Billy.
- One vote Paul.
Dustin, you're up.
I have concerns about Jake's marksmanship, and I agreed to go ahead and vote for Jake.
Jake, Billy, and Paul, you each have one vote.
Alex, it is your turn.
I'm thinking I voted for the right guy.
Jake, you have two votes.
Billy and Paul, you guys each have one.
Jake, you're up.
I just feel like Paul has been not one of our poorer performers, but he's just at the bottom of the list.
Two votes for Jake, two votes for Paul, and one vote for Billy.
Mike, you're the only man left.
Come on up and vote.
Jake and Paul, you two guys will face off in the elimination challenge.
I'll see you two tomorrow morning in practice.
The rest of you, I'll catch up with you at the challenge.
You guys can head back to the house.
It really should be Billy and Paul in this elimination, but it didn't turn out that way.
And now they're gonna reap what they sow.
That's just how my life is.
People don't ever want to give me credit for something until I actually take it from them.
What's up, guys? What's it gonna be, Pauly? - 3 and 3? - No, 3 and 3 is too much.
Jake is going into elimination against Paul.
It's a miracle.
I can't wait for Jake to be eliminated.
You voted me into elimination.
Off.
We all have to be good shots, but we got to be good team members, too.
That's my new mantra - Off.
- You voted me into elimination.
If he keeps up that attitude and that disposition against, you know, the teammates, which got him this far in the first place, he's gone.
Well, they clearly wanted me to go to this elimination, and it is what it is.
Jake is the biggest problem of the Blue Team.
It only makes sense.
If I can't nail up Jake's target, I'm gonna nail up a target of my own that's made for Jake.
Coming up on "Top Shot" The Cornershot makes its debut And Jake is upset about being sent to elimination.
I mean, I really don't feel I was the guy to be here.
I just don't agree with Jake's position right there.
Jake and Paul, welcome to practice for the elimination challenge.
We have something pretty cool in store for you this morning.
We're gonna continue in the world of special weapons and tactics.
You two are about to use a revolutionary weapon system rarely used by anybody who's not in the military or law enforcement The Cornershot.
This weapon system does exactly what its name implies It allows you to shoot around a corner.
A Glock 18 is mounted on the front.
It can be swiveled up to 63 degrees.
Live video is fed from the gun position to a video screen at the rear, and the shooter can remain safely out of harm's way while firing at hostile targets.
The Cornershot is extremely effective in urban hostage situations often faced by S.
W.
A.
T.
teams.
Jeff Gonzales is back to work with you and the Cornershot.
And because of its unusual configuration, the Cornershot does have a tricky rollover or torque to it when it recoils, so pay attention to what Jeff has to say.
It will come in handy in the challenge.
Jake, you are up first.
Good luck.
Some folks overseas were finding out that corners were difficult to deal with, and they were losing a lot of good people.
And the Cornershot, when it came out Now, it's been used overseas for a long time, and it's being used by our troops right now with a lot of success.
The traditional recoil impulses come straight back into the shooter's shoulder.
Here, because that weapon is forward of the hinge and that hinge has that weapon pivoted at a certain angle, now that recoil impulse the physics behind it Are going away from the shooter's shoulder.
So, having to cope with that unique recoil impulse is gonna be something that the shooters have to be familiar with or become familiar with.
Hit.
that second one was a hit.
You can adjust it on the screen, but the screen changes as you change.
So when I'm looking at the screen on the right side and then I bring the gun to the left side, it's two different the screen looks the same, but the gun's in two different positions.
Hit.
Hit.
- All right.
- About 8:00 on that one.
Not too bad.
Little bit high or the bottom right.
I feel like the practice session was valuable to him in helping him to kind of sort through the issues of the Cornershot and what he needs to do in order to get those hits on the targets.
Right side, left side, and over the top I want to be familiar with all three.
- Is that correct? - I would say so.
- Absolutely.
- All right.
So, if I'm here Okay, good.
All right.
by about 2 inches.
by about 2 inches.
Very, very awkward weapon, nothing I've ever shot before, nothing that even resembles a weapon that I'm used to using.
Okay, that is about 8:00, by about 2 inches.
I'm almost playing a video game, but I have to physically manipulate a weapon.
Hit, right on the dot.
Okay.
Whatever you did with that reticle spot on.
Hit.
Right there, right? - On the dot.
- Yep.
Okay.
I know where I got to be.
Paul seemed to be, you know, totally focused on trying to learn this weapon system, and he got full benefit from it.
What's going on, brother? What's up? Fricking weapon called the Cornershot.
Oh, no way! What is that? Oh, it sees anything.
It's the thing that flips.
It's got a screen and Oh, my God! This is gonna be a very difficult elimination challenge.
I was never in the military.
I joined the police force when I was 21 years old.
But my real strengths with firearms are my adaptability.
I'm able to pick up things really fast when I'm taught.
I'm certainly not afraid to go out there and display what I have.
You know, I've been in the naval academy.
I've been in the S.

teams.
I'm definitely not nervous.
I was thinking about it last night Having a little bit more time And the way it went down was a little shady.
I remember some members of my team that haven't really performed up to par the whole competition, yet they voted me in somehow, so they're gonna have to pay for that indiscretion.
Blue Team, welcome to the elimination challenge.
Jake and Paul, you two guys are minutes away from finding out whether you are continuing in this game or headed home.
Jake, you look mad.
Yeah, well, I'm extremely pissed offight now.
You don't think you deserve to be here? No, not necessarily.
I mean, I really don't feel I was the guy to be here.
Well, what happens if you win and you go back to the house? How does that play out? Well, I'm gonna immediately move into the backyard, and I'm gonna consider myself in green team already and start knocking people out, one by one.
Mike, you're ducking your head like you do not want to be engaged in this at all.
No, I just don't agree with Jake's position right there.
And as going forward, I hope we can pull together as a team if he comes back.
All right, let's do it.
The weapon for the challenge is the Cornershot, equipped with a Glock 18.
You'll be competing one at a time.
Out on the range are three shooting stations.
At each station is a wall with a small window.
are three targets.
At the start, the Cornershot will be in a straight position.
On my signal, you're gonna hustle 35 feet to the first station.
One there, you will take cover behind the wall.
Point the Cornershot through the window and take aim at the three targets to your left using the video monitor.
Once those are taken out, you're gonna straighten the Cornershot out and make your way to the second station, 45 feet away.
This time, the targets are gonna be on your right.
Once those are hit, head to the final station, Here, there's a window You'll have to point the Cornershot straight up, then angle it out the window.
The shooter who hits the nine targets fastest wins and stays in the competition.
The loser, as you know, will be eliminated.
I think it's going to be a very difficult challenge.
I think I have my work cut out for me.
Coming up on "Top Shot" First shot's a hit! Second shot's a hit! He's the guy sending Jake home.
We all voted for Jake in nomination.
Hits on his first shot! Hits on his second shot! Now he's got to bend it to the right.
Paul and Jake, in a matter of minutes, one of you will be one step closer to the $100,000 prize and the title of history's Top Shot.
Using the Cornershot outfitted with the Glock 18, the shooter who hits his nine targets in the fastest time wins.
Also, for the winner $2,000 Bass Pro shops gift card.
Paul, take your position.
Jake, so that you don't have an unfair advantage, we're gonna have you step away from the course while Paul shoots.
Marksman, ready Set Go! Paul hustling up to the first station.
Getting the Cornershot bent into position.
Acquiring his target.
Paul trying to get a look at it through the video monitor.
Can't find his target yet.
Where is it? When I got to my first position of cover, I just could not acquire my target in the lcd screen.
Paul's got it now.
Sends the first round down, and it's a hit! Paul's got two more targets at the first station.
Paul having all kinds of trouble with the Cornershot and the Glock 18.
He's the guy sending Jake home.
We all voted for Jake in nomination.
He's got a lot of pressure riding on him.
Now he's got it.
Takes it in.
Misses the second target.
Now he's got it hit! I think I may have been leaning in too far.
Second shot misses on his final target.
Now he's got it! Moving on to the second station! He's gonna get up here.
He's gonna bend the Cornershot to the right this time.
with the Glock 18.
Misses on his first shot.
Second shot connects! Paul's got to slow down.
There it is, hits! One target left.
Paul cruising up to the final station.
Now he's got to bend it at a really awkward position.
Three exploding targets.
First shot's a hit! Second shot's a hit! That's it! Time! I felt perfectly fine with a shoulder-mounted weapon moving to cover.
I, you know, attained cover relatively quickly.
Once I found where my targets were, it wasn't that bad.
I just couldn't get the angle that that course was set up to look out the window.
Marksman, ready SetGo! Jake on the course with the Cornershot and the Glock 18.
Got it bent to the left.
Trying to acquire his target.
Got three jars out there.
It took me probably 2 or 3 seconds to find that sweet spot.
I got on it.
Boom.
Hits on his first shot! Hits on his second shot! Jake goes 3 for 3 at the first shooting station! Jake looks like he knows what he's doing.
Hustling to the second station.
Now he's got to bend it to the right.
Getting the Glock 18 lined up.
He's using his video monitor.
Hits on the first one! Hits the second one! Jake is 6 for 6.
He is absolutely perfect with the Glock and the Cornershot.
He's at the final station Three more targets.
Hits on his second! That's two hits! That's it! Jake just 9 for 9.
He makes he makes the challenge look easy.
I mean, seriously, he made it look easy.

training, but it's still the same principles.
You don't want to silhouette yourself in a window and let somebody take a shot at you.
As far as my training goes as a Navy S.

Congratulations.
Come on over.
Grab your Bass Pro shops gift card.
- Nice work.
- Thanks, man.
Yep.
Jake really proved himself today, so maybe if we can forget all that stuff, and, you know, he keeps his performance up like this, you know, we'll have him around for a while.
- Sorry about that man.
- That's all right.
We heard it today when Mike spoke that, you know, "Jake's not a gun guy.
He doesn't like guns.
He's not a gun nut.
" So, you know, at the end of the day, no, I'm not.
I never will be.
But I can outshoot you, and that's what they're gonna have to deal with now because I'll take every one of them to elimination.
Paul, unfortunately, you have fired your last shot.
You've officially been eliminated from "Top Shot.
" I'll give you a moment to say goodbye to these guys before you head out.
Thanks, Colby.
All right, boys.
I apologize, man.
It's not how I'd want to go out.
Hey, you did good.
No, I really screwed up on that one.
- I don't have any regrets.
- Jake did a great job today.
He was the better man on the range.
My hat goes off to him, and congratulations.
Well, guys, there are now 10 of you still in the hunt for the $100,000 and the title of Top Shot.
And given the family dynamic of the Blue Team, things ought to be interesting when you guys get back to the house.
I'll see you tomorrow morning at practice.
On the next episode of "Top Shot" I ain't gonna be nobody's whipping boy.
You're not just gonna send me into elimination.
The Blue Team struggles to maintain unity I'm moving outside.
I'm on my own program now.
