I don't think so.
I want her in H Block by lunchtime.
- You were his girlfriend?! - He was obsessed with you he even had a shrine to you all over the wall.
I have done some messed up shit.
I swear, I do love you.
You are the single biggest mistake I have ever made.
You are not a man, you are a puppet with Ferguson's hand so far up your arse you will never be free of her.
Now, I'm gonna get out and you're gonna come with me.
(dramatic rhythmic drum beats) (hushed) Get me out of here! I'm not a miracle worker.
You find a way.
While she's still breathing she is never gonna stop.
To get justice, sometimes you'll need to cross a line.
(dramatic drum beat) - (retching) - (cutlery clatters) VERA: All right, everyone step back! Step back.
All right, give her air.
- But we can't go back.
- We have to, there'll be a count.
- Shit! Okay, just go, I'll be right behind you.
- Come on.
Oi, Novak, stop right there! I think I've discovered an escape plan.
Soon as lockdown's lifted we gotta move.
(scraping and sighing) (Allie reading aloud) I'm sorry but I had to lie to you.
But I think I found a way - to protect you - (hushed) Oh, shit! to get you out.
So, get going.
Run like hell and clear your name.
I need to do something else.
I made a deal to share my escape plan.

You're catching me out You're calling me in.
You're catching me out You're calling me in.
You're catching me out You don't know me, when I don't know you (atmospheric music) (radio announcer in background) A corrections spokesperson confirmed that two prisoners escaped via a prison industry's workshop established by Regional Manager, Derek Channing, who has been unavailable for comment since the incident.
Sources say Doyle and Ferguson would've needed staff assistance to orchestrate such an escape.
The prison remains in lockdown, as investigators question staff and inmates to establish if the two has assistance and what their plans were on the outside.
48 hours later, police remain on the hunt for the Wentworth escapees.
Earlier, a corrections spokesperson didn't think investigations into that escape reflect on the integrity of the prison security itself.
- This week's escape, though, certainly does.
- QUIBS have already questioned around 100 inmates and staff - and intend to continue - (siren wails) (tyres squealing) - (train horn sounds) - (train crossing bells ringing) (train crossing bells continue) (male reporter) speak about this at some point.
It appears - With both inmates still on the loose, - (dark drumming music) the prison and the department are under pressure.
Now, the Governor, Derek Channing, has now been relieved from (reporters clamouring) Derek Channing has now been relieved from his position and replaced by the former Governor, Vera Bennett.
She now faces the tough task - of trying to bring stability to her position - Move back.
- WILL: Move back, please.
- REPORTER: Would you like to make a statement? Just move back, please! (cameras clicking and flashing) (flash warming up and camera clicking) (dramatic music pulsating) (music muffled) (silence) Name? Rita.
Rita Connors.
Date of birth? November, 15, '71.
(keyboard clicking) Next of kin? Nuh.
Can I keep my jacket? While you're on remand, yep.
You'll need to lose the patches though.
(siren wails) (door unlocks) - Press still out there? - Yes and the cops are back they wanna speak to you again.
Well, they have to wait.
What triggered the alarm? Ah, J Block set fire to some mattresses.
- Fire brigade been called? - It's okay, it's out.
Slot them, slot the lot of them.
Well, the slot's full.
I mean, we could separate the troublemakers, - put them in other blocks.
- Get onto it.
Shut the hell up! - (melancholy music) - (siren continues wailing) - - (siren continues wailing) (inmates protesting in the background) (inmates protesting intensifies) (Boomer calls out, muffled) BOOMER: Hey! Can you let us outta here? 'Cause it's not our fault they fuckin' escaped, 'ey? - BOOMER: Just let us out.
- Mr Stewart I need to talk to you.
BOOMER: Hey, no one's tellin' us nuffin' either.
- How's Sonia, do you know? - ALLIE: Mr Stewart! - What's happening? - BOOMER: Hey?! - Just keep moving, Connors.
- BOOMER: We want the tellies back on as well! Oh, come on! We're not fuckin' animals! (cell beeps unlocks) (siren continues wailing) The women are losing it.
I need to speak to the Governor.
- Your cell's over there.
- You can't keep us cooped up like this.
- It's a violation of our rights.
- Oh, really, is it? Welcome to prison.
Oi?! (siren stops) You got a name? Rita.
You a biker? Conquerors.
You wanna be careful wearing that someone in here might wanna take it for themselves.
They can try.
I'm Kaz.
I'm in charge around here.
Remember that we've got no problems.
I am not making any statements.
Don't call this number again! - How'd they get your number? - I don't know, but they know Channing's been fired.
(door beeps unlocked) - (phone ringing) - Sorry to keep you waiting.
WILL: Um, I'll check on those transfers VERA: I thought you'd already talked to all the women? We're following a new lead.
We think Doyle and Ferguson had help from your side of the bars.
(door closes) We have a suspect we'd like to talk to you about.
Right, and who's that? Visitors' Centre records show that Bridget Westfall visited Doyle three time in the 10 days prior to her escape.
Ms Westfall resigned some weeks before, so why was she visiting Doyle? Well, you'd have to ask Ms Westfall that.
- If you're withholding any information - Look, I can't be certain but it is possible that Doyle formed some kind of emotional attachment.
- Was it reciprocated? - (phone ringing) - (phone continues ringing) - I don't know.
(phone ringing) I told you to hold my calls! Someone helped the prisoners escape, Ms Bennett.
- We need to establish who it was.
- (phone rings again) The sooner we recapture the escapees, the sooner your prison returns to normal.
WILL: Haven't got time for this, Mitchell.
Get off me! Nuh! - Move it, Mitchell! Come on! - Not goin' anywhere! Nuh! I had nuffin' to do with it.
- Not goin' nowhere.
Can't hear me cloth ears? - Let go.
- I'm not goin' anywhere! - What's goin' on, Mr Jackson? Nothing you need to worry about.
- Last chance, Mitchell.
Let's go.
- Treat us like animals and we'll act like one! Shut the fuck up! (Ruby chuckles) (atmospheric music) - (whooshing flourish) - WILL: Let's go, Mitchell.
You need to lift the lockdown! ALLIE: Miss Miles? Miss Miles, I need to talk to Officer Stewart.
I'll pop a note in his diary.
Who the fuck's she? Trouble.
Cell 16, play nice.
What? Wasn't my fault.
Bitches trashed my unit.
Hey, hey, hey.
Hey, 16 not 15.
All right, that's Franky's cell, all right, you don't go in there.
Okay? She's me best mate.
- True.
She's a legend.
- Yeah.
I hope she gives those pigs a run for their money.
Hey, love, I haven't seen you around.
Are you a newbie? Nah, I've been over in J Block for three months.
- Got six left.
- BOOMER: Oh, yeah, what you in for? - For being black.
- (chuckles) Nah, for resisting arrest but that's not my fault either.
I'm seeing a pattern.
Believe it or not, sugar tits.
(clicks mouth) (chuckles) Mmm, that's all we need, more attitude.
- (atmospheric music) - (sighs) (sighs quietly) (muffled police sirens memory) (police sirens intensify) RAY: Floor it! Go, go, go, go, go! - (sirens continue) - (engine revving) (tyres screech then car crashing) (dramatic drum beat) (echoing lights flicking) (atmospheric music fades) - (car decelerating in distance) - (train horn sounds in distance) (radio in background) Wentworth staff and prisoners alike.
Given the apparent conflict between the pair, - which reportedly dates back - WORKER: Pedro, - to the appointment of Ferguson as - get your arse down here! Wentworth's Governor.
- One member of Wentworth's correctional staff, - PEDRO: All right.
who wished to remain unknown, said he "thought it was unlikely the pair would be on the run together".
- And now, a look at the weather.
- (Franky sighs) - Monko, it's looking windy with showers.
- (rhythmic tense music) - Forecast for Melbourne, partly cloudy - (Franky breathing heavily) with a slight chance of showers, mainly in the early (rhythmic drum beats) (muffled train clattering) (music mellows) - - (echoing drum beat) (music gradually intensifies) (echoing drum beat) - (echoing drum beat) - (hushed) Fuck! (exhales quietly) (phones ringing) How'd it go with the police? - They got any leads? - Why the hell are you still here? Uh, I wanna make things right.
If you want the Deputyship back, you can forget it.
If it was up to me, you'd be queueing at the job centre.
I wanna make things right with us.
(phones continue ringing in background) (hushed) Are you that deluded? (hushed) I love you.
Just give me a chance to prove it.
I will prove that you helped Ferguson escape, and when I do, that evidence you think you have on me is hearsay.
Be my word against yours.
(door beeps unlocked) - (phone continues ringing) - (door slams) Okay, come through.
But make it quick, I've got a call with the board in five minutes.
- It's the lockdown.
- (Vera sighs exasperatedly) The women are going crazy, they are this close to losing it.
Most of them have never been near the workshop and they don't understand why they're being punished for someone else's breakout.
We've already established Jenkins distracted an officer, maybe others were involved too.
The escape worked because no one knew about it.
They're being denied their basic rights here.
They need fresh air, they need to eat together, they need TVs on, they need to work.
(sighs) The women respect you, Ms Bennett, but if you leave them cooped up for much longer you're gonna lose them.
Wait outside please.
(phones continue ringing in background) (Vera sighs deeply) - (door closes) - What do you think? Well, J Block are still going nuts.
Now D Block are kicking off, and and we've moved people around.
- (mobile phone ringing as well) - I mean, it it could be a good circuit breaker.
Just get things settled? - (desk phone rings) - (Vera sighs deeply) Right, I'll lift the lockdown, you implement it - but TV privileges stay suspended.
- Sure.
- Yes! - ASSISTANT: Mr Burton - KAZ: Thanks for helping.
- WILL: Well, it works for me.
Last thing I need is a riot.
Late nights? You look like crap.
Uh knackered.
Double shifts.
Cops in and out, interviewing everyone.
They got any leads? I don't think so.
I don't get it.
Why would Franky leave with Ferguson? Where would they go? It doesn't add up.
(echoing drum beat) Sooner or later they'll find Ferguson (echoing drum beat) and she'll be back.
(rhythmic drumming) Hey.
Jesus, mate, you look shithouse.
Vera's gunning for me.
She thinks I helped Ferguson.
So put her off the scent.
How? I dunno, use that fucked up brain of yours.
Mate, this is your problem too.
- I've done my bit, okay? - (Jake grimaces) And I feel sick about it.
But I did it for Vera and the women, all right? You are not my responsibility, you're on your own.
You got that? You got that?! (breathing heavily) Mmm.
(exhales heavily) - (sighs) - (door slams) (P.
A.
announcement) Lockdown is now lifted.
- I repeat.
Lockdown - (door beep unlocked, inmates cheer) Ah, I want some air! - BOOMER: Halle-fuckin'-lujah - INMATE: Woohoo! KAZ: Want some air? You comin'? - INMATE: Yeah! - Woo! About time.
(inmates cheering and clapping) Ah, fuck, the air's great! - Yes! - Oh, you're the best, Kaz.
Onya, Kaz.
- Cheers, Kaz.
- You bloody legend! - Kaz! - Onya, Kaz.
You're welcome.
Nice to see ya.
(general chatter) Hey, M-M-Miss College, is there any news on Sonia Stevens? - Nah.
- Like anything? - As far as I know she's still critical, Jenkins.
- Oh, just - like, tell me something.
- Sorry, love.
Hey.
What the hell are you doin' here? Just wanna talk.
I never wanna talk to you again.
- It's better if nobody knows about us.
- (scoffs) They ain't gonna hear it from me.
INMATE: Oi, Wanda! - KAZ: Hey.
- LIZ: Hey.
You two know what Franky was up to? No, not a clue.
Franky takes Ferguson with her how the fuck does that work? Dunno.
Maybe she didn't have a choice? Hey Franky gave me this before she left.
I've been hangin' onto it and lookin' at it, thinkin' about her.
(sighs) Where do you reckon she is right now? - Bermuda - (chuckles) - Barbados - (gentle music) - Broadmeadows? (chuckles) - (chuckles) Nah, she's got a job to do.
She won't be going anywhere until it's done.
(breathing heavily) (news report) Doyle has been charged with the shooting murder of TV personality, Mike Pennisi, while Ms Ferguson was serving time for the murder of former inmate, Bea Smith Serious questions are being asked about security measures at Wentworth Correctional Centre following a number of high profile incidents over recent years.
Conservative lobbyists are calling on the Government to implement tougher restrictions on prisoners (hushed) Jesus! Gidge, what the fuck happened? - Has anyone seen you? - (incredulously) No.
BRIDGET: (whispered) Oh, fuck! - Oi, what's this? - It's nothing, I I was rushing Franky, what the hell were you thinking? Look, I gotta keep movin'.
I was gonna ask you for a ride, - but - To where?! - Iman's place.
- Oh, Franky, this is crazy! We've been over this.
If the police if there was any evidence, they would have found it! She's not a suspect, it's just me.
Now, I'm gonna go down for murder if I don't do something.
We are gonna get another lawyer.
Okay, this is not the way - It's not gonna make a difference! I need evidence! - I'm gonna remortgage the house And I'm not gonna find it sitting in a prison cell.
I wish you'd told me you were planning this.
You would have talked me out of it.
(sighs) - Where's Ferguson? - I dunno, I never saw her.
Baby, where are you sleeping? - It doesn't matter.
- Is is safe? - That - Is it is it COLLINS: Ms Westfall, it's the police.
(indistinct news report continues in background) (gentle music) (door opens) Yeah, hi.
I'm Detective Collins, this is Detective Hydari, can we come in, please? Why? COLLINS: We have some questions about the nature of your relationship with Francesca Doyle.
Oh, I can answer questions here.
We'd also like a look around.
Why's that? We know you visited Doyle a number of times recently.
- You care to explain why? - Because she needed psychological support.
Well, none of you other ex-clients needed to see you, why did she? Well, I can't discuss her personal situation.
(scoffs) We're hunting an escaped criminal, we don't have time for confidentiality bullshit.
COLLINS: It really would be better if you could just let us in, Ms Westfall.
HYDARI: Otherwise we might think you've got something to hide.
- BRIDGET: Do you have a search warrant? - We could get one.
- Oh, good, then you can get one.
- Ms Westfall Look, I'm sorry, I'm not gonna stand here and be spoken to like this, I need to rest.
So, if you feel you need to search my house then get a warrant, otherwise, don't waste my time.
(sighs exasperatedly) (hushed) Franky Oh, for fuck's sake! - (sighs deeply) - You were close with Doyle I think you knew what she was planning.
- Now, I'm not expecting you to lag - (phones persistently ringing in background) that is not why you're here I have reason to believe an officer was involved.
What can you tell me about that? You've protected an officer before over contraband, did the same officer help Doyle and Ferguson escape? Novak this is a very serious situation.
If you help me I will advocate on your behalf.
I will see if I can get your sentence reduced.
(hushed) Just tell me what you know.
(phones continue ringing in background) I don't know anything.
(mobile phone ringing) (P.
A.
announcement) Attention, compound.
Attention, compound.
All women to report to assigned work duties.
Novak! (hushed) Where have you been?! I've been looking for you.
What'd the Governor want? She thinks an officer was involved in the escape.
What'd you tell her? Nothing! (sighs) Okay, good.
- Wait! - Oi.
I wanna know what happened.
I need to know that that bitch is gone for good.
The job's done.
You just need to keep quiet.
I want details.
D-d-did she suffer? What?! I wanna know that she suffered.
I wanna hear about every last fucking scream.
This conversation's over.
Ferguson's dead, okay.
End of.
(muffled dance music intensifies) (exhales quietly) - (extended whooshing flourish) - Oh, Miss Miles Miss Miles, still haven't heard nuffin' about Sonia, like.
Can you can you find out for us? - Sit down, Jenkins.
- No! Just - fuckin' tell me somethin'.
Sit down.
- Sit down! Sit I'll fuckin' sit sit down.
Hey, Sonia wouldn't be dead or nuffin' would she? Like, 'cause they'd have to say, wouldn't they? - Yeah, of course they would.
- Yeah.
You don't look very worried.
Just eat your lunch, love.
I'm not hungry.
All right, I'm missin' Franky too, all right.
Well, maybe she could come visit in disguise.
(inmates cheer and clap) BOOMER: Hey, Juice how was hospital?! They glue your tongue back on? (inmates laugh) Sorry, what? Was that was that like sign language? 'Cause I can speak that, yeah.
(inmates laugh) - (sighs loudly) - Hey, sugar tits.
Yeah, that's me, sweet and sour.
So, um, what's J Block like? Oh, it's deadly.
We plait each other's hair and have all night orgies.
Oh, yeah? We have orgies too.
Liz goes off.
How'd ya sleep? Like shit.
That's what happens when you burn your mattress, you dumb arse.
You want a fuckin' fist in your mouth? I got a big mouth, you wouldn't even touch the sides, mate.
(Sharon chuckles) This chick here my fuckin' property, you got that? Whatever.
Leave her alone.
- Why are you protecting her, you fuckin' her? - Don't be stupid.
Look at my girlfriend again I'll cut ya throat.

We're good.
We're good.
I don't care how you did things in J Block.
When you're with us you show each other some respect.
You got it? I'm comin' for ya, dog.
You touch her, you answer to me.
Now get your food or get the fuck out.
Sit down.
(solitary clapping) You right? (door beeps unlocked) (rhythmic music intensifies) (warped pulsating rhythm) Fuck off! (quietly tense music) - What the fuck are you doin'? - Ah, just lookin' for someone.
Who? That young Koori girl.
They said she was in this unit.
Spike send ya? - Nah.
- Oh, yeah, so what do ya want her for? Newbie.
(laughs nervously) Connected with the mob.
It's what we do.
Oh, yeah, right.
Well not sneakin' round other people's cells is what we do.
- Okay? - Got it.
(chuckles) Couldn't give a rat's arse about your girlfriend, Spike.
You think you're so fuckin' funny?! - With your wisecracks and your smart-arsed comments.
- (scoffs and chuckles) Mints aren't cuttin' it for ya, mate.
Monte Carlos? Love 'em.
- Yeah, nearly out.
- You know if you split 'em it's kinda like you get twice the amount.
- Piss off, Spike.
- Nah.
Nah, I don't think so.
Don't do this.
Not so fuckin' funny anymore, are ya? LIZ: Hello, hello.
Who's this? - Rita Connors - Liz and Allie.
She lookin' for the black chick.
- Oh, Ruby? - I think she's in the showers.
Great, thanks.
- Fuck me, it works! - Hey? Thanks.
(rhythmic music intensifying) MILES: Hey, this isn't a race track! - (breathing heavily) - (music quells) (breathing heavily) Oh, shit! (door closes) She's breathing.
Sit on the bed.
(water running) Why the hell did you do that? (sighs) I dunno.
- What do you mean "you don't know"? - I can't remember.
- What the fuck's that supposed to mean.
- (sighs) I think my hand's broken.
Gimme a look.
Knuckle's dislocated.
Look at me.
Wiggle your toes.
- Why? Ow! - (bones crunch) - Fuck! (grimaces) - Shhh.
Sh-sh-sh-sh-sh.
(breathing through the pain) Shhh.
Shhh.
(exhales deeply) Need to get some ice on that.
I don't need ya help.
(sighs) (inhales deeply) They find out it was you, they'll charge ya.
That nine month stretch of yours will turn into bloody years.
They say you're called "Connors" now.
(sighs) Rita Connors.
Lots of things have changed.
So, what ya in for? Armed robbery.
(scoffs) - What, so you're a bikie now? - (chuckles quietly) Yeah.
I made some pretty dumb choices.
Done a lot of things I regret.
- (siren wails and P.
A.
announcement blares) - Attention, compound.
Attention, compound.
- They found her.
- Oh, fuck! I'm rostered on in the laundry.
They're gonna see my hands, Rita.
- Code Purple in the shower block.
- (grimaces) - (siren continues wailing) - Stretch it out.
Don't say a word to anyone, okay? Okay.
Go.
Fuck off! (sighs) GUARD: Out of the way.
Nothing to see here.
- Coming through, coming through.
- INMATE: Fuck! - GUARD: Out of the way.
- Who did that? MILES: You tell me.
Better still, tell the Governor.
KAZ: (hushed) Fucking animals! Oi! You know anything about that? (chuckling) Nuh.
Don't you bullshit to me.
I couldn't give a shit about the crazy bitch.
(tense rhythmic music intensifies) Argh! (car revs, tyres squeal) Fuck! - (groans and exhales) - (hushed through clenched teeth) Fuck! (grimaces and groans) Mmm.
- - (sighs and breaths through the pain) - Ooh! - (police sirens wail) - (tyres skid) - Ah, shi fuck! Oh! - (groans with effort) - (car skids and crashes, glass shatters) (police sirens continue wailing) - (punch) - (door opening) (police sirens abate) (music quells) NURSE RADCLIFFE: Hmm, this is a coincidence.
Your hand matches her face.
- I told you, I fell down the stairs.
- Mmm.
Uh, I was supposed to finish ten minutes ago! - Really? - Yep, where were you? Uh, traffic.
Oh, yeah, whatever.
Let's just go through the handover, okay.
NURSE SHEN: What's going on? NURSE RADCLIFFE: I was just getting to the cut on her hand - NURSE RADCLIFFE: Haven't even done the prep, not really, - NURSE SHEN: Yeah.
- I need to do something with that, so - (gentle music) (music intensifies to a rhythmic beat) (footsteps approaching) (inhaling and exhaling slowly) Gotta make it quick, got my shift in 20.
Where you workin'? Supermarket.
(incredulously) It's the best! I need to know something about Vera.
She's a cunt.
Next question.
How'd she get you to take the wrap for Bea Smith? (sighs) She said my swipe card was used to let Smith into no man's land, which is fuckin' bullshit.
She'll change your records.
You got any proof? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, loads.
That's why I'm wearing a pink vest and working night shift in Frankston.
What about the backup locks, did she change those too? Why are you so interested in what happened to me? Vera's trying to shaft me too.
- VISITOR: So, it was really good, it went really well.
- (background conversation continues indistinctly) (door beeps unlocked) (door beeps unlocked) (Ray chuckles) GUARD: Oi! No contact, Connors.
- (sighing) Oh, I've missed you, babe.
- (chuckles) (inhales deeply) Sprained it.
Yeah, on someone's face.
I'm fine, honest.
- (door beeps unlocked) - Sit down.
- What the fuck happened back there? - I'm so sorry.
It was an easy job.
A smash and grab.
I get the gear and (door closes) you went back for the cash? I mean, - it's the cleaners not a fuckin' bank.
- I wasn't thinking.
(sighs) I would have come back for you, lamb.
- Cops tailed me for 30k.
- (sighs) - How long you in this time for? - Mm dunno.
Court won't be for a month or two.
- Oh, Jesus, f! - How's everyone else? Worried.
Turf war's hotting up.
Do Butchers know we knocked off their gear? They'll work it out.
(chuckles wryly) Jesus, Ri, why did you have to be so careless? (sniffles) I miss you.
(chuckles ruefully) (sighs) - (rollers clatter) - LIZ: Thank you, Tania.
Hey, Liz, can you please take over? (Ruby grimaces quietly) Oh! You okay? Yeah.
Yeah.
Who taught you how to fold, Stevie Wonder? - (chuckles) - Edges gotta be crisp like this.
It's hotel laundry, who gives a shit? "If you're gonna do something, you do it right.
" That's what my dad always said.
Okay, Mary Poppins.
Oi, ladies, listen up.
Some good news from the hospital Sonia's off the critical list.
- INMATE: Woo! - (sighing) Oh so that-that means she's gonna be okay, doesn't it? Well, doctors reckon that she was poisoned with liquid nicotine - and that's why she collapsed.
- What? I'll find out who did that and there'll be repercussions.
Same with Spike Baxter.
- She was attacked in the showers today! - INMATE: Oh, shit! Now, my rules are pretty straightforward, but some people can't seem to get them through their thick heads.
Anyone who commits an act of violence against another prisoner will pay the price.
(hushed and menacingly) And I mean, they will fucking pay! Things have changed around here.
Spread the word.
So, Sonia was poisoned.
Yeah, I heard.
Who the hell would do that? Dunno.
Well, when I find them I'm gonna break their fuckin' neck.
(dark, tense music) - Argh! - Fuck you! - (steam hisses) - (door beeps unlocked) New inmates for the work unit.
You can show 'em the ropes.
(door beeps unlocked) You well enough to work? I asked 'em to let me out.
I need to do something.
(door beeps unlocked) (quietly tense music) First you're gonna tell me who did that to your face.
- I fell in the shower.
- Try again.
Was it her? Clearly you two had issues in J Block.
Was it?! It was me.
She's fuckin' racist.
She'll tell ya.
I did it.
Yeah.
(scoffs) Okay.
You're new, maybe you didn't know the rules but I'm gonna make an example of ya.
Girls.
Not the steam press.
Put her hand under here.
(chair clatters) - Everybody watch and learn.
- (music ends) - (sewing machine whirs) - (echoing drum beat) (rhythmic music) (fleshy sounds) (groans) (hushed) Fuck! (groaning and breathing heavily) (groans) - (quietly tense music) - (hushed) There's gotta be something here.
Oh, come on.
- (rhythmic beats intensifying) - (sighs) - (sighs) - (music quells) (hushed) Shit! (sighs) (sighs) (music darkens) (sighs) (music ends) (fleshy squelching) (hushed) Ah! (groans) (slow whooshing flourish) (police siren wails) - (whooshing flourish) - (melancholy music) (slow whooshing flourish) - (door opens) - (police siren continues wailing) (echoing sigh) (music ends) (door opens) Well, that was stupid.
You're welcome.
I don't need you to protect me.
Shouldn't be in here, Ru.
You're a smart, young beautiful black woman with a whole future head of you.
I had a future.
I know - and I'm sorry.
- Apologies mean jack shit.
They don't change anything.
I had to leave to take the heat off you mob.
