and he shoots her.
Oh my God, there's many more.

I saw Marianne's death.
- Yeah?
- Yeah.

I want to sit down for a minute.
It felt like a lifetime of a whole bunch
of different images and shit.
First thing I see
is Marianne opening the door.
I see him have her get on her knees.
And she's begging for her life
talking about, "You can't do this.
I got to get home to my baby."
And he kills her anyway.
Horrible shit, man.
Did you get a look at the guy?
The guy looked like he had facial hair.
Like a mustache or something.
And then, I'm seeing all these images
of people being attacked and murdered.
And seeing hiding spots for them,
like they're not discovered.
Like they just went missing cold.
And they're still missing.
I think it's multiple people
since and before.
It's certainly not unusual for police
to use psychics to solve cases.
It is plausible these three investigators,
with their combined psychic energies,
heightened by the 28-day cycle,
could crack this cold case.
So, after seeing what I saw in the tank,
there's no doubt about it.
Cara and Marianne were not
the only victims, not by a long shot.
What I was seeing were a lot of victims,
teenagers, young women.
Some were decomposed,
some you couldn't even tell who they were.
It's kind of hard to talk about.
This went from a haunted house
to a serial killer in North Denver
that was never caught.
For over three straight weeks,
the spirits at each location
have been bombarding the investigators,
hoping to get them to leave.
They've been blocking them,
messing with their minds
so they turn on each other,
and rattling them with
ferocious paranormal energy.
But each team has pushed through
and obtained crucial information
to solve their mysteries.
And as a result, they're on the verge
of proving the cycle is real.
I mean, to find a star
- three feet underground
- Yeah.
Why would it be left there?
Why would that be left in the ground?
That was another question.
Did they bury it with haste?
Like, "Oh , someone's coming."
- Yeah.
- "I wasn't doing nothing."
Nick found a copper pentagram
buried in the backyard
where we discovered a hot spot,
using the thermal imaging camera.
Now we need to figure out
how that's connected to Adelaide
and a huge volume of spirits
that are trapped on this property.
Three feet would be, you know,
around 1600s or something.
If it was left on top of the ground,
it would settle down underground that far.
To find a pentagram,
handmade out of copper,
a lot of people would perceive that
as the sign of the dark arts.
It could be occult-related.
What if someone on the property
centuries ago
was dabbling in the dark arts?
If the occult is involved, these spirits
may be a lot more difficult to free
than any of us were anticipating.
Based on the history of the location,
the team at Captain Grant's may
have just uncovered a 1600s pentagram
owned by Jonathan Brewster.
The son of an English official
and Mayflower settler,
Brewster was granted 450 acres of property
by the Mohegan Chief Uncas
in exchange for setting up a trading post.
Brewster was a known practitioner
of the occult.
He tried to create the elixir of life
which would cure all ailments.
And he practiced alchemy,
trying to turn lead into gold.
It's believed Brewster practiced
his experiments
on the land where Captain Grant's
now sits.
But did the dark magic
he channeled in those experiments
leave behind an environment
of cursed evil energy?
And is that the reason the spirits
remain trapped here to this day?
Now we have to figure out
how these spirits are being trapped here
if we want to try to free them.

Ever since Jereme provoked Charlie
the other night,
Jereme has not been the same.

from hearing a voice tell you that?

I've been hearing it now for probably
well over a week and a half or so.

there's something dark attached to him.

It very well could have been
some kind of demonic possession
that made him decide to kill
his wife and children.

if there was some evil force of energy
behind him and killing his family,

negative energy all the way around me.

on the side of me.

He heard what I just said to him,
and that's his response?

I sit out here because I'm afraid
to be in there by myself,
because all he's been doing is sleeping,
and those are, like, warning signs to me.
We're messing with something
that's bigger than us.
Jereme, he's highly influenced
by a demonic entity.
He's in the oppression state to me,
which could lead, definitely,
to demonic possession.
He's in the midst of a fight,
in other words.
True demonic possession
takes control of the mind or soul.
It breaks down the body,
producing physical illness,
and sometimes even criminal behavior.
Jereme may be in the beginning stages
of a demonic possession.
There is definitely a spiritual war raging
inside him in his mind and in his body.
This is serious.
Tony and Aaron are allowing Brandy
to speak with expert Trudy Smith
on the Lawson family murders
to see if there are similarities between
Charlie's behavior before the murders
and Jereme's now.
This may help her determine if Jereme is
capable of coming out of this on his own.

I know you've been in there
for a good while now.
It's been really tough.
So far with investigating,
we did find this family photo.
The picture you're holding
is the Lawson family.
This father, Charlie Lawson,
on Christmas Day, 1929,
he murdered everyone in that photograph.
And then after he did all that,
he went out into the woods
and he killed himself.
I'm speechless. I don't even know
what to think about it all
because, just seeing it
in my visions and hearing it,
it's crazy how the whole story
is adding up.
Everything was so spot-on
to what we have received,
with my ability of mediumship
with the energies.
Here's what my partner Jereme
has been experiencing.
He's been sleeping a lot.
He's not here right now with me
because he is currently in bed.
He's depressed, just no motivation.
He's experiencing head pain.
So it's got me worried,
because I don't know
if it's something medical
or something spiritual.
He's also having, like, angry outbursts.

Well, there were several things
that may or may not
have been affecting Charlie's behavior
leading up to the murders.
One of the things was
he was complaining of severe headaches.
He appeared depressed.
That's exactly
what's going on with Jereme.
On top of that, I came upstairs
and I grabbed my notebook.
And on numerous papers of my notebook,
he wrote, "Troubles can cause."
Well, actually, Charlie,
when his body was brought back,
they found two notes on him,
and one said, "Troubles will cause."
Oh my God.
Now what that meant, I don't know,
but those are some
of the unusual behaviors
that people noted about him
before he committed the murders.

My experience in the sensory
deprivation tank has made me realize
I do have some sort of psychic ability.
I want to lean into it and use it
to help solve this mystery.
We know that the man that killed
Cara and Marianne was a serial killer.
So that changes the picture
of what we're up against.
But now I think we're ready to make
a meaningful connection with the girls
and have them tell us
the rest of the story.

of his family and himself,
Charlie also suffered
from extreme headaches.
Not only that. When he committed suicide,
he had a letter, and it had on there,
"Troubles can cause."
Everything that you're feeling,
it was to a T.
So, what are you saying, Brandy?
You're saying that Charlie's affecting me?
I honestly believe that this could be
the energy that affected Charlie,
the negative energy
that affected him.
And this is the point now
that I'm catching on
that I need you to step out of this
and be who Jereme is
and who he was when he came here.

It's almost as if it's Charlie
making you feel what he went through.

of letting us know why her
and the other spirits became trapped here.

opened up some sort of spiritual portal,
but for some reason, that doorway
is being clogged by an evil energy,
and it's not allowing those spirits
to cross over to the other side.
I want to save Adelaide
and all these spirits from whatever
dark force is trapping them here.
I've decided I'm going to use
what they call the ghost helmet
or god helmet.
After Brandy's talk with me,
I've decided I need to fight this thing.
So I want to use the god helmet,
a tool that I've used in the past.
The concept behind this is that
the magnets will allow you
to open up that part of your brain
that psychic mediums use.
I need to fight this demon
that's trying to possess me.
In order to do that,
I need to make a psychic connection
with the spirit of Charlie.
When a psychic taps
into paranormal energy,
it's often difficult to filter out spirits
and maintain prolonged connections.
But the god helmet acts
like a switchboard,
using neuromagnetic pulses
to help psychics target specific entities
and communicate one-on-one.
In his weakened state, Jereme hopes
this will be the boost he needs
to block out the dark energy
and channel a private connection
to Charlie for the first time.
Only then can Jereme see the demon's
influence on Charlie for what it is
and how to overcome it.

However, it is a very powerful tool to use
in this situation.
