America's Got Talent s05e23 Episode Script

Wild Card Show

Over 113 million of you have witnessed ordinary people move one step closer to their dream.
This is the moment.
You're the star.
This competition is about to be blown wide open.
Tonight, each judge picks four of their favorite acts to return for one last chance at the ultimate prize.
Each of these acts I believe has something more to offer.
That's why they're back.
The pressure is going to be tougher than it's ever been before.
Tonight is all about a second chance.
This time it's the last time for It's "America's got talent - the wildcard show.
" I cannot wait.
I love the call it the wildcard, because tonight is going to be wild.
Announcer: Live from Hollywood This is "America's got talent.
" Now, here's your host, Nick Cannon Hollywood! Good evening.
This is "America's got talent.
" Now, this is our wildcard show, everybody.
It's 12 of the judges' favorite acts back for one last shot at glory.
The semifinals start next week.
Tonight is their last chance to make it through.
Fail tonight and it's really over.
All right.
The four acts that do get to go through will be one step closer to winning the ultimate prize, $1 million and they will get a chance to star in the first ever "America's got talent" national tour.
It's stopping in 25 cities across the country and includes a headline show at Caesar's palace in Las Vegas.
You can see the winner and all the favorites live.
How cool is that? That's cool, right? Now, it's not just the contestants who are under the pressure tonight.
The judges have put their reputations on the line with the acts that they're bringing back.
So give it up for our "America's got talent" judges.
Piers Morgan! Sharon osbourne! And Howie Mandel! Give it up one more time for our "america's got talent" judges.
They look so lovely, don't you agree? All right.
Now, the fact that all of tonight's acts have been specially chosen by the judges does not mean that they won't get x'd.
In fact, it could still happen and it probably will.
You get three x's, the performance is over, but as usual, you at home can still vote for them.
Now, Howie, I didn't mean to interrupt you.
You good? I'm tweeting.
Howie's tweeting away.
You guys are bringing back four acts tonight.
Yes.
Was it easy deciding who to bring back? Yes.
Really? Yes.
It was really hard, it was really hard to come up with the top 48 because I had to argue with my arch Nemesis right over there.
But this was just who do you want, and I knew who I wanted to bring back, no problem, and because I tweet and I'm on the street, these are the people that people kept coming up to me and saying can we see them again or why didn't they make them through, so it was easy.
Just tweet me and tell me I'm right.
All right.
Thanks.
So 12 acts.
It's make or break time.
Are you guys ready to see some talent? Let's do it.
Here's piers Morgan's first wildcard act.
Their dream is to show America there's more to Indian dance than just bollywood.
They are kruti dance academy.
I am so sorry.
It just wasn't enough.
I'm so sorry.
When Howie told us we weren't going to make it any further, we were very upset.
When we got the call to come back for the wildcard show, we were thrilled.
Our group is extremely close-knit.
I was on a honeymoon with my husband in Jamaica.
Instead we're honeymooning in Hollywood.
Piers is definitely the toughest judge, so the fact that he brought is back is so flattering and so surprising.
I brought the kruti dance academy act back because they are incredibly talented, great choreography.
We're classical dancers.
We have to be very precise.
A little bit behind count.
We had a fall during rehearsals today.
It's very worrying.
If that happens tonight, it's all over for us.
It cannot happen.
From Atlanta, Georgia, please welcome kruti dance academy.
Kruti dance academy! Wonderful, ladies.
Mr.
Morgan, how did they do? Well, I think my decision has been completely vindicated.
I didn't want to lose you in Vegas.
I was overruled by these two half-wits to my left.
As America has now seen, you have got talent.
That was a great performance.
Really enjoyed it.
Sharon? Well, as one half-wit, I'd like to say that it was very you'd be a quarter-wit actually.
I'll take that.
Very exotic.
Very beautiful.
I think now that America is becoming more used to the Indian culture, it's not only the dance, but the Indian characters are in sitcoms and adverts, so I think you could have the kruti dance in competition with the riverdance now.
Great.
Thank you, thank you.
Howie.
Okay, here's where I am on this.
I agree, yet I disagree.
I agree that you guys are phenomenally talented and technically and culturally it is beautiful and correct.
Do I believe and somebody back there agrees with me.
But here's the let me talk.
But from this perspective, at this time in our competition, is what you do wow? Is it so exciting? Will people buy tickets and go see you? Yes.
They will, but will America? I don't know that you rise to the level that you deserve to be at this level in our competition.
Rubbish.
You proved him wrong, ladies.
Don't listen to a word of it.
We'll see tomorrow.
We'll see tomorrow.
All right.
We will see tomorrow.
Now, ladies, how important is it for you to make sure that you share your culture with the rest of America? It's very important.
We feel so fortunate to live in a country where other cultures are not only accepted, but they're appreciated.
So thank you for giving us this platform to show what we do best.
Absolutely.
And to vote for the ladies, call 1-866-60-agt-01.
That's 1-866-602-4801.
If you're with at&t, you can text the word "vote" to 4801.
You can vote up to 10 times per voting method, but not until the end of the show.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it one more time for the kruti dance academy.
Still to come tonight, we've got rapping, dancing, kite flying, sword swallowing and laughing.
You do not want to move from that chair.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back to "America's got talent - the wildcard show.
" for a place in the semifinals.
Earlier I mentioned the "America's got talent live" national tour.
Starting in October, it's playing in 25 cities.
The show will be hosted by Mr.
Jerry springer.
So for tickets, dates, information, everything you need to know, go to nbc.
Com/agt.
Okay.
Here's Sharon's first wildcard choice.
Let's hope that Howie watches this time.
Here's rudi macaggi.
I love you, rudi.
You're going to Hollywood.
That was the most dangerous thing I've ever seen on this show.
The act leaving the competition is Rudi macaggi.
Being sent home was like a dream crashing down.
Maybe I didn't make it through because my stunt was too intense.
It made people jump off their seat.
I was very disappointed that rudi didn't make it through.
He combines a huge talent with serious danger.
That's why I brought him back.
Thank you, Sharon, for bringing us back.
I like you.
I have no idea what you can do tonight.
I mean, how do you top what you did last time? I do not know.
Tonight I'm going to do something totally different.
This is a tough one.
It's intricate.
It's dangerous.
If you fall the wrong way, you break your neck.
If America wants more danger tonight, that's exactly what I'm going to deliver.
From New York, here's rudi macaggi.
Ladies and gentlemen, may I offer you for your consideration a numerlogical demonstration of balance and coordination.
What you're about to see next we must enter quietly into the realm of genius.
May I present to you stairway to heaven.
I will attempt a backflip, and I will catch myself with my feet in this little rope.
Tonight's stunt, I am going to do it in the style of Howie Mandel.
I won't look.
Wow! That was intense.
All right, Sharon, how did they do? Rudi, obviously, your technique is magnificent, and your timing, to be able to do that trick, great.
But I think you took too long.
You had a certain amount of time and you took too long to get to one trick.
You should have done two tricks and not done all the verbal.
So I'm somewhat disappointed.
But, again, your technique is fantastic.
Yes.
Thank you.
Okay.
Howie.
I think what Sharon doesn't understand is you can't rush entering quietly into the realm of genius.
You can't rush that.
Thank you.
In Howie Mandel style.
I like you.
Yes.
You know, the first thing that popped in my mind, I was thinking a dyslexic committing suicide.
Some of them are just for me.
I think your last your last stunt that you did before they brought you back, even though I didn't see it, was more spectacular, and I don't know that you had a place to go.
I don't know if this comes up as spectacular as the blade of death.
The stairway to heaven whoa.
All right.
Piers, you buzzed.
The trouble is, rudi, last time you said you were potentially going to lose your head.
It could be severed.
Yes.
And we'd see your head rolling off the stage.
That is dangerous.
This week when you say you may just break your neck, I'm thinking the danger level it's obviously not as dangerous, is it? We're not going to see your head rolling off the stage.
It's a downgrade of the danger level.
It's either you lose your head and have a quick death or you're paralyzed for life.
You always look at the bright side of everything.
That's a very good argument.
Paralysis wouldn't be great.
I agree.
That's not a bad argument.
Rudi, have you ever missed in this trick? Yeah, I did.
Last time I missed it, I took eight stitches on my head.
Wow.
I got lucky that time.
But, you know, this is a trick, it's a little more slick.
It's not as aggressive.
The other one they told me was too scary.
It's almost telling a comedian you're too funny.
I don't like you.
All right.
To vote for my man rudi, call 1-866-60-agt-02.
That's 1-866-602-4802.
Or text the word "vote" to 4802.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it oneore time for rudi macaggi.
Still to come tonight America's youngest rapper devotes his act to a mystery girl, and five hip-hop dancers blaze the stage one more time.
Be right back.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" Next up, Howie's first wildcard act.
He's 12 years old.
He's a rapper.
He's a dancer.
He's cj dippa.
We're going to see you in Hollywood.
Only 12 years old.
That's amazing! The act going home is Cj dippa.
When I found out I was going home, all I could think in my head was that my dream was over.
It was m dream to make it on this show.
I was so surprised that cj didn't get through.
I mean, everywhere I went people were talking about cj dippa.
You know what? I think he deserves another chance.
When I got the call to say I was coming back, it was amazing.
Perfect.
The rap I'm doing tonight I wrote for a girl.
Her name is Marley from studio one.
I really like her.
If I make it to the semifinals, I'm going to ask her out.
Tonight I have to give a hundred percent.
If I don't, I'm going home again.
I do not want that to happen.
From denton, Texas, give it up for cj dippa.
This goes out to all the girls in America.
Especially you, Sharon.
K-I-s-s-I-n-g you and me in a tree first comes crush then comes love k-I-s-s-I-n-g k-I-s-s-I-n-g k-I-s-s-I-n-g k-I-s-s-I-n-g! Cj dippa! All right, all right.
Good job, man.
Howie, you picked him.
How did he do? How do you think you did, cj? Um honest.
I didn't think I gave my all.
I really didn't.
I saw that you had a couple of problems there.
Here's what I think about you.
I am fascinated by you.
I'm fascinated by the fact that you can rap, you can dance, and you put all this together yourself and you write.
I think that you have an amazing future.
I don't know that this performance was as polished as you could possibly be, you know, and I think that somebody has to take you and work with you, and I know that America loves you.
Wherever I go and on the tweets, people are going bring him back.
So I hope they vote you through and give you another chance.
But you weren't up to par tonight, were you? No, sir.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
Mr.
Morgan.
I think it's very big of you to admit that.
Part of being a star when you're getting older is dealing with moments like this when it hasn't gone how you hoped.
The fact that you've handled that in a mature way, I applaud you for that.
I think the problem tonight, it was a bit too gimmicky from the big gold chains.
It was like you were pretending to be a rap star.
For that reason, the audience weren't really with you.
I think you have to get a bit more real.
I think you're a talented young rapper and you write well.
It's all your own stuff, right? Tonight it's like you're trying to be someone.
Be yourself.
Be cj dippa.
Then you'll have a good career.
Yes, sir.
Miss Sharon.
Cj, thank you very much for the shout-out in the song.
No problem.
And I think that kissing booth is the title of the song, right? Yes, ma'am.
It's just fabulous.
I think it's your best song so far.
I think it's really, really catchy.
Really.
Thank you.
And I listen, rap is meant to be larger than life.
And I love the bike.
I love the way you look.
And just carry on doing what you're doing.
Fine by me.
My man cj dippa.
Now, after hearing what the judges have said, how do you feel? I feel like I need to improve in my rapping, and I, like, need to give my all and light up the stage like I used to, like I usually do.
You did a great job.
Keep going.
And I know America's going to love you.
To vote for cj, call 1-866-60-agt-03.
That's 1-866-602-4803.
Or text the word "vote" to 4803.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's give it up one more time for cj dippa.
Coming up A musician hopes to stun America with a very unexpected song choice, and a magician performs the most dangerous trick he's ever attempted.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" We are live from Hollywood.
And our next wildcard act lost in the judges' pick.
But Sharon has brought them back.
They are a hip-hop dance crew.
The oldest is only 13.
They are rng.
You're going to Hollywood.
Judges, the decision is yours.
Rng.
Future funk.
Sometimes we're faced with tough decisions, but bringing rng back was not a tough decision.
They belong in this contest.
We're rng, and we're back! Sharon is the reason that we came back for the wildcard show, and we love her so much.
Piers and Howie weren't too impressed with what we did last time.
I just don't know that this is any more than a dance recital.
Our first two performances we did raw hip-hop.
In our last performance, we weren't used to doing huge stunts.
This time we're going to give it everything we have.
They're back tonight to prove they deserve to be.
Show us.
We are ready to fight for this.
Sharon has given us a second chance, and we're not going to let her down.
Thank you, Sharon! From Seattle, Washington, give it up for rng.
I just don't know that at this point this is anything more than a really nice dance recital.
Rng.
Okay.
All right.
Sure.
I just want to say we worked so hard for this, and we don't do flips.
We don't do tricks.
We straight dance.
That's it.
Sharon, they straight dance.
Are you happy you brought them back? I'm really happy I brought them back.
And don't you guys mess with my girls.
Now, listen I thought the performance was really, really strong.
You had great attitude.
The whole way through I enjoyed the choreography, and I loved the attitude too Howie.
Loved it.
Howie, it appears you were part of the act.
A little inspiration.
And that look, I'm scared.
But, you know, I think my job here is to be incredibly honest, and here it is.
You are phenomenal.
You really are phenomenal.
But here's let me that being said, as I said to the first group here tonight, you have a perspective now at this point in the competition.
When you think of fighting gravity, when you think of Michael grimm, when you think of Jackie evancho, can you compete? No tricks, no stunts, just dancing.
Is that enough? I don't think.
I really don't think so.
I'm being honest.
But you're great.
You're great.
America's going to make that decision.
I think you've got to blast off.
You've got to do something fantastic, and those names I mentioned do.
Mr.
Morgan.
I love the way he starts off you are phenomenal and then criticizes you.
I am the honest judge.
You're the judge that buzzes everybody else's pick but your own.
No, no.
You buzz everybody but your own act tonight.
There is a reason that I'm buzzing your picks, because, as usual, only my picks so far has been up to standard.
Oh, please.
Is this personal? My problem with you girls, I thought it was a bit disorganized.
Disagreed with Sharon.
Didn't like the choreography.
The attitude reminded me all of Sharon.
Good girls.
All this very Sharon osbourne.
All right.
To vote for the girls, call 1-866-60-agt-04.
That's 1-866-602-4804.
Or you can text the word "vote" to 4804.
But not yet.
Voting will stay open for two hours after the show.
Right now, I want everybody to make some noise one more time for rng.
After the break Four hot shot dancers hope their flying feet will win your votes and a comedian hopes he'll be laughing all the way to the semifinals.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" Okay.
Our next act is another one of piers' picks.
He called this performer the best technical harmonica player he's ever seen.
He is harmonica Pierre.
I thought you brought a touch of class to our show.
You're in the top 48.
I don't know that it is big enough.
Leaving the competition is Harmonica Pierre.
When I left the competition, I went back to my watchmaking, thinking I lost the opportunity to make my dream come true.
But now that I am back, ah, my gosh.
Anything is possible.
I brought harmonica Pierre back not just because he's an amazingly talented harmonica player, but also because he's a wonderful character.
Completely dedicated.
I sacrifice everything.
Tonight I have something to prove.
I have to up my game.
This is going to be huge! Wow! This is my last chance.
So I will give absolutely everything that I have.
From Tucson, Arizona, with his version of lady gaga's "alejandro," here is harmonica Pierre.
Harmonica Pierre! Come on down here, brother.
All right.
Mr.
Howie Mandel I didn't buzz I didn't buzz you.
Yes, you did.
No, I didn't.
Before he even started.
I'm just angry.
I'll tell you why I'm angry.
I said to Sharon let's buzz.
Before you get to play, I don't want to throw you off.
She said okay.
When I went for it, you ditched me.
Not me.
Yes, you did.
Can we get to the judging, please? What do you think of your choice, piers? I think I speak on behalf of the audience here and America.
Thank you, thank you.
You know, you can't this is my whole point, Pierre.
I've had to put up with a few acts brought back by these two which have just died on their backsides.
You come and you storm this show.
No.
Sorry, you do.
Feelings aside, Howie, how do you feel? I've been consistent with a few acts.
I believe that the people that I chose to come back have a chance at getting into at least getting into the finals.
I don't know that this particular talent again, phenomenal has the chance, if America is going to pay and vote to see this to the finals.
I didn't choose you.
He chose you.
You're a wonderful man with a wonderful talent.
It's not my choice.
All right.
Miss Sharon.
Moving right along.
Hello, Pierre, darling.
Hello, Sharon.
Hi.
You were quite wonderful tonight.
You really, really entertained me.
You always make me smile.
Thank you.
However thank you.
And I know the audience here really loved it, too.
But, are you a finalist in this contest? I don't know.
Are you an act that's going to fill arenas all around America? I don't know.
Wait a minute.
That is not the criteria.
You had your time here, mister.
Mr.
mouthy, you've had all your time.
Da, da, da, da, da.
La, la, la.
We've lost control once again.
To put Pierre in the semifinals, call 1-866-60-agt-05.
That's 1-866-602-4805.
Calls are toll free from landlines or you can text the word "vote" to 4805.
For more information and to vote online, log on to nbc.
Com.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's give it up one more time for Mr.
harmonica Pierre.
Coming up A magician risks everything as he pushes his act to the limit.
And, later, strength and grace come together in a daring aerial display.
Stay right there.
This is "America's got talent - the wildcard show.
" Our semifinals start next week.
Tonight all of our acts are back for one last shot at making it through thanks to our very opinionated judges.
And this time four acts will make it.
Up next tonight, a master illusionist who blew Sharon's mind.
He is Michael grasso.
Wow! What I'm doing is I'm bringing magic back to its purist form.
Sleight of hand.
This was good.
Not wow.
Leaving the competition in Las Vegas was tough.
I went home and I got back into the groove of my everyday life, performing birthday parties, school assemblies, bar mitzvah.
Then I get the call.
When I heard that Sharon chose me to come back on the show as a wildcard, I was thrilled to death.
Michael's first audition was fabulous.
Then when I saw him in Vegas, it wasn't that great.
But somehow I just couldn't forget him.
That's why he's back in the contest.
Michael certainly deserves to be back.
He's got to bring something that is meant for the Vegas stage tonight.
The illusion I'm performing tonight is very dangerous.
It involves spikes, fire.
Anything can go wrong.
I've been given a second chance.
Tonight I'm going to show America magic like they've never seen before.
From cape may, new Jersey, here is Michael grasso.
Michael grasso.
My man.
No exit.
All right.
People standing up.
Miss Sharon, your pick.
Michael! Well, thank you, thank you for not disappointing me.
That was really, really great.
Your timing was perfect.
Your delivery was great.
And I'm very proud of you.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Howie.
I have to say that that is Michael, that is the first performance tonight that is worthy of this level of the competition.
It really is.
You brought it up.
Originally, you were worth it.
You brought that big thing to the stage, that big switch.
Then you did the close-up magic.
Not that it wasn't great, but you downsized it.
Now you're back to where you should be, and I'm excited to see you again.
Piers.
Well, Michael, I mean, you haven't just performed a brilliant magic trick.
You've also performed a miracle, because you've managed to prove that Sharon does know something about talent, which is something I wasn't expecting tonight.
We love you, Sharon! Thank you.
I thought it was a fantastic To give Sharon her due, I wasn't convinced about bringing you back.
I think we have some great magicians in the competition this year, better than any season.
I think you've just thrown the competition wide open.
Wow! So, I mean, how excited are you to be back? Oh, this is great.
Performing here live in Hollywood has been a dream.
All right.
Well, to keep Michael in the competiti competition, call That's 1-866-602-4806.
Or text the word "vote" to 4806.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it one more time for Michael grasso.
Okay.
Up next Three brothers, one sister.
They're a dance act.
They're getting their second chance thanks to Howie.
They are the hot shot tap dancers.
See you in Vegas.
See you in Hollywood.
I never felt that you caught fire on stage.
The act going home is The hot shot tap dancers.
It was not fun going home eliminated, I'll tell you that.
Had that one little sliver and it was almost there and dropped it.
Hot shot tap dancers.
I brought them back.
My thought was they spent so much energy on the story and the props and less energy on the actual dancing.
And the dancing is what's wonderful to watch.
During sound check today things didn't go quite as well as we thought they would.
We ended up having to make a few last-minute changes.
Last-minute changes definitely add to the stress level.
We're running out of time.
No stops, no breaks.
The stress is there, the pressure is there.
Without pressure, you don't have diamonds.
From Portland, Oregon, give it up for the hot shot tap dancers.
The hot shot tap dancers.
Great job, guys.
Howie, how did they do? You know, I wanted you.
I brought you back because I loved that you mixed the classic tap, you know, with modern.
And you kind of listened to me.
Last time I thought you delved too hard onto the story and not enough dance, but now it's just plain dance.
It was a little bit you know, I know that some of you are better.
You know, I don't have to point it out, but have tricks that you can do.
You have to showcase that.
You have to wow it.
It was a little muddy and it was just four people dancing.
It started off spectacular and then I got a little bit bored.
I'm going to be totally honest with you.
It wasn't spectacular.
Piers, you gave an x.
Howie is right.
It was boring.
It was boring.
You're very I like you as individuals.
Every time you perform, I can see that you've got great chemistry and it comes over.
The problem is the choreography is really boring.
And as it goes on, you got out of step with each other and it all became a little bit of a mess.
I wish it had been better.
I think we all feel you were worth another go.
I don't think you're actually at the right level yet as a group, and you need to really think about the choreography, I'm afraid.
Sharon.
Yeah, each time I see you, I really enjoy what you do.
But there's been something missing.
And I think tonight, it really shows to me what it is.
It's that you dance as a team.
And you want the unique to come forward.
One of you needs to be the star here.
I don't know which one it is.
But one of you has to come forward and do something different than the other guys.
You can't just all be the same, four of you doing exactly the same thing, and I think that's what's failing.
Thank you.
Thank you.
All right, guys.
So after hearing what the judges have said, I mean, how do you take that criticism? You know, we always take the criticism well.
We just wanted to say thank you to Howie for bringing us back and big shout-out to mom and dad back home.
We love you guys.
We miss you.
All right.
To vote for the hot shot tap dancers, call 1-866-60-agt-07.
That's 1-866-602-4807.
Or text the word "vote" to 4807.
America, make that noise one more time for the hot shot tap dancers.
After the break Two young dancers hope to leave America breathless.
And a mesmerizing beautiful act takes flight.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" We are live from Hollywood.
And our next act has been piers Morgan's least favorite and his favorite.
Either way, piers has brought him back tonight.
He is doogie horner.
You weren't very funny.
You're in the top 48.
You make a mockery of my comedy.
Doogie, you're funny.
Leaving the competition Doogie horner.
I was a little surprised when they said I was coming back.
Not too surprised, because I am very talented.
That's the name of the show and that's what I've got, so it makes sense.
I know it's going to surprise people I brought back doogie, but I now find doogie funny and I don't understand why America isn't laughing with me.
Maybe piers likes me now because he's married, he's found love again.
If you can make piers understand comedy, you're like a superhero.
I just hope that America sees what I see.
I do want America to like me, but at the same time I don't want to force myself on America.
Like, hey, America, you want to hang out? No pressure.
If you don't, that's okay.
If America doesn't like me, I respect their wishes.
But I do hope America likes me tonight.
From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, here is doogie horner.
Thank you very much! Thank you.
It is great to be back on this show that America has clearly said they have no desire to see me on.
I have never wished I was a as I do now.
Future funk a very talented act, compared to a young James brown.
I myself have been compared to a young chipps cooney.
Fighting gravity, another great show.
The first time a bunch of fraternity brothers partied so hard they came up with a stunning performance piece multimedia dance troupe or a clever ploy to pick up freshman girls.
First we turn out the lights, then we get out the glowing balls, maybe a little music.
I am still scared to death of getting buzzed by piers.
They say every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings.
Every time piers presses its buzzer, an angel is told it sucks at playing its harp.
Thank you, thank you.
But I'm not worried.
I've got more jokes than cj dippa's got girlfriends.
What? My delivery is smoother than haspop on roller skates.
It's an important show.
I'm so glad some of my fans from New York city are here tonight.
We'll murder you.
You're ruining the show.
Stop it.
The worst fans.
Stop it.
Go away.
Stop it.
Terrible people.
A lot of people say I'm not talented.
I say hogwash.
A lot of people say I can't win this competition.
I say balderdash.
A lot of people say I'm the weirdest act on here.
I say poppycock.
I'm so talented, it's not even funny.
Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much.
Good night.
Doogie horner.
Great job, man.
Thank you.
Mr.
Morgan, your choice.
Howie didn't want to bring you back and it was left to me to bring back the funniest comedian of the season.
The audience were laughing.
We enjoyed the humor.
They enjoyed the rhythm of the comedy.
More importantly, Howie was laughing his head off all the way through this.
Absolutely.
Which I think means, Howie, you have to admit that you ought to have brought doogie back.
Sharon, how do you feel? That is a true story.
Yes, it is a true story.
Yes, you are a very weird little man, but you are funny.
No, you are.
You are.
I'm a comedian.
Are you married? I'm already taken.
Sorry, ladies.
Do you have children? Thank God, no.
Just checking.
Just want to know more about you.
The I do like your material tonight.
Thank you, doogie, you weird little man.
Howie, how did you feel about doogie's material? You applied the number one rule of comedy.
You are in the moment.
When we're talking to you, your material is about what we're talking about tonight.
You're a great character.
That person loves you.
I think America is going to like you.
Welcome back, doogie.
Thank you.
Great to be back.
All right.

I'll tell you when.
Right now, let's hear it for doogie horner.
Still to come, a death-defying sideshow creates havoc on stage, and a kite flyer creates amazing patterns in the air.
Do not go away.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" Up next, one of Howie's picks.
He wowed the audience at the auditions with one of the most unusual acts we've ever seen.
He is Connor doran.
When I'm flying, nothing can touch me.
Watching that sent me into that same place.
It's wonderful.
I love kite flying.
It offers me a true escape.
I am so sorry.
It just wasn't enough.
When I was sent home in Vegas, I was really upset.
I'm really proud of you.
Because I have epilepsy, my my man, Connor! Nice job, Connor.
Howie, your pick.
Standing ovation.
Need I say more? I don't think so.
All right.
Piers.
How does it feel, Connor, after that? It feels amazing.
Isn't it great? Yeah.
To do what you just did and get the crowd all cheery, it must feel amazing to you.
It feels amazing.
I am so excited.
Well, good for you.
It's interesting.
When I watched the interview with you before you performed and you said it brought out the normal kid in you, the truth is you kind of bring out the normal kid in all of us.
We all remember you know, when I was young, I used to love flying kites.
And to have the brilliance that you have in controlling the kites, especially in a studio, you never hit the lights, us, it was all perfectly done.
There's something very magical about what you do and the way you do it.
I'm so pleased that you're back.
Sharon? Connor, the way you interpret the music with your kite flying is always amazing to me.
How do you do it with no wind in here? There's no wind.
It's motion.
It's me creating the wind.
I create wind.
You create magic.
It was beautifully executed tonight.
Thank you, Connor.
Connor, how do you feel your performance went? It went pretty good.
I was real excited.
I'm really amazed.
All right.
So are we.
To vote for Connor, call 1-866-60-agt-09.

Com.
Ladies and gentlemen, one more time for Connor doran.
Still to come, two aerial artists defy gravity to create an unbelievable display.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" We are live from Hollywood.
Anything can happen.
Tonight it's all about 12 acts getting a second chance at stardom.
We'll find out who's done enough to stay in the competition tomorrow night.
Also tomorrow, two of America's biggest stars.
First, she's one of country music's greatest singers and she's the youngest person ever to win a grammy, the sensational leann rimes will be here.
And this guy has stunned audiences all over the world.
Right now he's the hottest ticket in Vegas.
Superstar magician criss angel.
You won't believe what criss has planned for us.
Up next, another one of Mr.
Morgan's favorites.
They're two young ballroom dancers.
They are Anna and patryk.
You are very good dancers.
Possibly send you home.
I could see you in Vegas tomorrow, you two.
The act leaving the competition is Anna and patryk.
Being back here on the show is crazy because we didn't expect this to happen.
We didn't even know there was an extra round.
I brought Anna and patryk back because they are, without a doubt, the most talented young dancers we've had in many a year.
In dancing the male is supposed to be the leader, but sometimes Anna wants to be the leader.
I'm good at being in charge.
You are not.
I know you guys are used to a lot of time to rehearse.
We've only had two days.
We've had so little time to come up with the choreography, get music.
Keep ending up over there.
We're struggling with some of the moves and the pressure, but this is our second chance, and we have to make it perfect tonight.
From new Hyde park and maspeth, New York, please welcome Anna and patryk.
Anna and patryk.
Awesome.
Piers, standing ovation from you and the rest of the audience.
And everybody else.
Anna, patryk, for me, for me, that was your best performance.
What was interesting tonight, I thought normally Anna is the boss.
She's quite bossy.
She's normally throwing you around.
Tonight I thought it was your night tonight, patryk.
I thought you were the boss tonight.
A little mini John Travolta doing his stuff.
How old are you two? dancing to a level that I really don't think we've seen in a long time on this show.
I'm so glad you're back.
I don't know why you didn't get through last time.
I hope America watches what you just danced and you get to the semifinals, because you are brilliantly talented.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Sharon.
Yeah, guys, your coordination, your timing, it was so precise tonight.
It was really, really terrific.
And, you know, you are old beyond your years.
I feel like I'm watching, you know, a couple of 25-year-olds dancing, not 12-year-olds.
And I have to say that when you were let go last time, I don't know whether you saw me, but I was outside waiting to leave and I saw you two crying and it broke my heart.
So I'm glad you're back.
Thank you.
Howie.
I agree with everything my partners here are saying.
But I still feel the same way.
I feel it's about winning this contest.
And the art of ballroom dancing is, if I'm correct, and I think I am, it's about being seductive.
It's about a man and a woman.
That's why you see pairs doing it.
And seeing 12-year-olds dancing seductively is a little creepy for me.
Oh, for goodness sakes! I'm just saying as an act.
Apparently you're being completely the perfect party at your house is 12-year-olds dancing to harmonica music.
Let me just tell you what he knows about ballroom dancing can be written on the back of a postage stamp.
Check out my Paso dobles, people.
How do you think it went? I think we just try to get harder and harder every single time, and I think we did great.
All right.
To vote for Anna and patryk, call 1-866-60-agt-10.
That's 1-866-602-4810.
Or text the word "vote" to 4810.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it one more time for Anna and patryk.
Coming up Two aerialists face great danger as they perform for your votes.
And three sideshow artists go all out for the wow factor.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" Okay.
Our next performers are back thanks to Sharon.
Their act is beautiful and very dangerous.
They are Michael lipari and ashleigh dejon.
I can't wait to see you again.
Sorry.
You're going home.
After Vegas, ashleigh and I were devastated.
We worked so hard for that moment.
Our performance didn't go as planned.
Our communication was off.
We weren't as on it as we needed to be.
We were too close and we were kind of stuck.
We know we can do way better than that, and we're here to do just that.
Michael and Ashley when they perform, it's so graceful, so beautiful, but at the same time, there's this risk of danger.
A lot of times that risk does not pay off.
I still believe in them, and that's why I've given them a second chance.
Tonight we're doing a full release catch where we're reaching and grabbing for each other midair.
It's something that we've never done before.
It's extremely dangerous, and there's only a split second there to make that catch happen.
Tonight when we get on that stage, we're going to give America everything we have.
From Los Angeles, California, please welcome Michael lipari and ashleigh dejon.
Wow! Standing on their feet.
All right, all right.
Miss Sharon, that was intense for you.
Oh, oh, oh.
Nick, Michael, ashleigh you tricked me.
The I tell you what, I'm like you can't do this.
Not now.
You really frightened me.
Anyway, you naughty people.
I tell you what.
How seductive was that? You naughty couple.
Very sexy, very clever.
Thank you.
I thought it was edgy.
I loved the edginess of the whole thing.
Thank you very much.
Well done.
Thanks for having us back, Sharon.
It's my pleasure, really.
Thank you.
Mr.
Mandel.
Certainly, you got our blood flowing.
It was dangerous, edgy, fun to watch, it was sexy, you scared us.
I was this close to thinking somebody was throwing floss at me.
But it's amazing.
And I don't know what your relationship is, but she's a little clingy.
Is it just me? Agreed.
But it was wonderful.
Piers.
Well, I'm very relieved you're not dead, because I thought we just had our first fatality on "America's got talent.
" That was an amazing trick you did there.
I was not expecting that.
You had us all there.
And, again, I did not think you should come back.
I argued with Sharon about it.
I thought she was mad to consider it.
We've got some brilliant magicians.
Yet again, second time tonight, we've seen a magic act come back miles better than you were in the last round.
It's not magic.
It is magic.
It's an aerial act.
It's not magic.
It's an aerial.
To me it went from being a boring aerial act to a magic act.
What you did with the trick is magic.
I think it's magic.
Thank you.
Magic.
If you say so, it was definitely magical.
Do you guys feel like you nailed it? I think we hit it.
Most definitely.
All right.
To vote for Michael and ashleigh, call 1-866-60-agt-11.
That's 1-866-602-4811.
Or text the word "vote" to 4811.
Ladies and gentlemen, one more time, give it up for Michael lipari and ashleigh dejon.
Okay.
After the break Our last act performs.
Then it's up to you to vote.
Tonight is the last chance for all of our acts to keep their dream alive.
We'll be right back.
Guess what? Season 6 is coming up.
Go to nbc.
Com/agt to pre-register for season 6 auditions now.
You can be our next winner, so get out there and audition.
Welcome back to "America's got talent.
" We are live in Hollywood.
In a couple of minutes, we will be opening the voting lines.
It's the semifinals next week.
Who goes through is up to you, so use your votes wisely, people.
Before that, here's our last act.
They perform traditional sideshow acts brought right into the 21st century and Howie loves them.
They are swing shift side show.
We are swing shift side show.
We are daring, circus, carnival freaks.
You make me sick and you're through to the next round.
So when we got passed on to Las Vegas, it was really exciting.
For personal reasons, we were unable to continue in the competition, but we got a wildcard and came back.
We're like a twisted family.
We all live together.
She saw me hanging by hooks and swallowing swords and she was hooked.
I was hooked.
They have the wow factor combined with the ew.
We're doing the dark of death and the dance of death.
There's a part of our act that's so shocking, we're not sure America will be allowed to see it.
I wanted to blow the darts not with my mouth, but another part of my body.
We're talking to the producers to see if they'll allow it.
If you thought it was crazy beforehand, just wait.
We're taking off the gloves.
From Las Vegas, Nevada, give it up for swing shift side show.
Wow! Okay.
Howie? Yeah.
You know what's weird? I don't want to say.
This is what's going on inside my head, you know that.
It is what it is, and I think it's wow.
People will be talking about it tomorrow.
Now, you can't go that was okay.
You either hated it or loved it.
I actually love it.
I find it shocking and weird and it's shocking that you the dart, you would normally blow out of a different orifice and that's where you practiced, and then you decided to do it out of your mouth.
Did you wash the dart blower Howie, Howie.
I think it was interesting seeing you again.
It's not a dance routine, piers.
I'm glad you mentioned that, because, of course, Howie recently observed about a previous contestant tonight they were creepy because they were very, very nice, pleasant, young ballroom dancers and he brings back you through, probably the creepiest creeps in the history of planet earth.
Which I know you will take as a great compliment.
To me it is utterly revolting.
You are utterly revolting.
I can quite understand why you and Howie get on so well.
Sharon.
Yeah.
I appreciate it as an art form.
I get what you guys are trying to do.
It's, you know, like the old victorian sideshows.
I mean, I've never seen a woman swallow a knife before.
I've seen loads of men, but never seen a woman do it, so brilliant.
But it's not my thing.
It's not my thing at all.
But I appreciate it as an art form.
Thank you.
All right, guys.
Well, I didn't see the act because my eyes were closed the whole time.
So how do you think it went? I think it went really well.
If anything goes wrong, even slightly, we can die up here.
But, obviously, we're still here, so so far, so good.
And she has a hatchet in her hand, so I'm listening to what she has to say.
So to put her through along with the rest of the side show to the semifinals, you know what you have to do.
You have to vote for them.
Call 1-866-60-agt-12.
That's 1-866-602-4812.
If you're an at&t subscriber, you can text the word "vote" to You can vote up to 10 times per voti voting method, but not yet.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it one more time for swing shift side show.
Okay.
The contestants have done all they can.
Now it's over to you.
Here's another look at all of tonight's acts along with their voting information.
And you can vote online at nbc.
Com.
This is it.
The voting lines are now open.
And, as usual, these are 866 numbers, not 800 numbers, okay? And if you don't get through right away, don't give up.
Keep trying.
The lines will be open for another two hours after the show.
Tomorrow night is the results.
Four acts will go through, eight will be going home.
If you want your favorite to stay, you know what you have to do.
You have to vote for them.
Right on this stage, leann rimes and criss angel.
I'm Nick Cannon saying good night, America.
