America's Next Top Model (2003) s21e16 Episode Script

Finale Part Two: America's Next Top Model is…

Cycle 21, baby! Tyra: It's "America's Next Top Model" cycle 21, guys and girls.
I'm ready to kick all these bitches' asses.
I may be a dork, but I'm here to win.
Tyra: For the first time ever, three guys and one girl have outlasted all their competition.
And they're about to face their ultimate test ( cheering ) Tyra: our biggest final runway yet.
Whoo! Tyra: Who will rise to the top? ( barking ) Tyra: Will it be Adam I quit grad school to win this competition.
You're so, so, so stiff.
Tyra: who transformed from frat star - ( grunts ) - Tyra: to blue suede steel? I'm the dark horse comin' out of the South.
And I can win this whole thing.
- Tyra: Or Will - ( cheering ) Tyra: I think you're kicking ass on this.
The one thing I don't like is you're doing the Willy-hunch.
Tyra: the Texas dancer breaking out of the restraints - of his small town? - Will: It's really awesome for me to feel so comfortable with who I am, but there's so much pressure that I'm about to burst.
Tyra: Or Keith, the sexy pro football player aiming for a "Top Model" touchdown? Keith: I sustained a career-ending injury in football, so now me as a model, everything that's on my mind is win, win, win, win, win, win.
Tyra: Or will it be Lenox, the last girl standing - It's not sexy.
- Tyra: a shy introvert who's ready to unleash her sexy side? I definitely think I could be sexy.
One of the best pictures all cycle! There, smizing.
Thank you.
Tyra: So the models competed in their Guess photo shoot only to be shocked for the surprise elimination.
Adam.
Tyra: Adam won best photo for the second time in a row with Will close behind, leaving Lenox and Keith to battle it out for the final spot in the top three.
Find out tonight who will be "America's Next Top Model.
" Look at these two beautiful models that have come so far.
And I know you wanna walk in that fashion show, - don't you, Keith? - Yes, I do.
And, Lenox, I know you wanna stomp in that fashion show, - don't you? - I do.
So who's going to? The model that will be competing in the Lie Sang Bong fashion show against Adam and Will is - Keith.
- Congratulations.
Congratulations.
You are the last finalist.
Thank you.
There are male models and guys everywhere rejoicing.
And there are female models going, "What the hell?" Me included.
- But you deserve this.
- Thank you.
Congratulations.
So, Lenox, got so far.
So, so, so far.
I think the judges feel like you need a little bit more confidence.
A little bit more oomph, that fire.
But you're a good model.
- Thank you.
- But to take it to the next level, - we wanna see more.
Okay? - Okay.
Thank you.
Lenox: I feel kinda disappointed.
I wanted to win so bad.
( sniffles, sighs ) I'm gonna miss the stupid, stupid boys.
- ( crying ) - I love you so much.
Lenox: I hate the fact that I didn't win so I didn't get the prize, you know, the money and the contract, 'cause it really would've helped with my mom and everything like that.
When it comes to my modeling, I never thought I would ever be doing this.
I mean, I got three best pictures in a row like fourth place, and top girl is pretty awesome, so I'm proud of myself.
I already know I made my mom proud and I really hope that my dad can see me.
( crying ) I hope my dad's watching from above and if he is, I hope he's proud of me.
What the heck is going on right now? - F.
T.
B.
S.
- Tyra: Oh, you're takin' it back - to F.
T.
B.
S.
- All: For the boys.
This is "America's Next Top Model" and there are three boys.
And three very strong and very different boys.
You guys each have your strengths, so you will be judged on the final fashion show and on the makeup music video commercial that you shot with me on top of your full body of work.
So who's "America's Next Top Model"? We know it's a boy.
- Congratulations, guys.
- Thank you so much.
Will: There's been 20 cycles of women winning this competition, but now a boy is gonna win "America's Next Top Model.
" So excited! - See you later.
- Whoo! "America's Next Top Model.
" Keep watching.
Wanna be on top? Wanna be on top? You know it's X-X-I, baby Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na Boys in the house Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na Boys in the house Na, na, na, na Wanna be on top? 2-1.
- Whoo, oh, my, Keith.
- Will, Adam, and Phil in the house! Will: Look at you, Adam.
Who would've thought Adam: Best photo, Adam, again! You know, I'm comin' for the title! Like, I'm comin' for the title of "America's Next Top Model.
" Cheers, Adam.
Adam: A lot of people underestimated me.
You can go back to the first day in the house when everyone's like, "What's Adam's deal? He's not a real model, right?" But every single week I have learned, and I think you can ask any of the competitors and they'd say, "Adam is the most improved model by far.
" I definitely did not feel safe.
Keith: At the bottom with Lenox.
Oh, my God.
Tyra picked me over Lenox and Lenox is a strong model.
It just made me be even more appreciative of where I'm at.
- It's gettin' realer and realer every-- - Adam: May the best man win.
Keith: I have no time for slacking 'cause I'm not doin' it for me, I'm doin' it for my family.
And I need to cry.
That's what I need to do to make myself feel better.
I'm just numb to a lot of things because of everything I've been through, everything I've lost.
I come from the bottom, you know, I'm from Bridgeport, Connecticut, in the housing projects.
My father wasn't in the picture and then he passed away, so I felt alone, but I'm still breathin' and I'm fightin' and his fight is over.
So I'm fighting for him.
One of us will be the first male winner of "America's Next Top Model.
" Will: It's really interesting to see me, Adam, and Keith in the final three.
All three of us are so different.
Keith is really good at being seductive sexy, Adam's really good at being strong, and I'm really good at getting into the movement because I'm a dancer and I can understand my body.
So it's gonna be intense, it's gonna be really tough for the judges to have to choose someone.
Casting really seems like a long, long time ago.
Will: Obviously, I'm the most surprised to see Adam in the final three.
He has improved a lot, but I would prefer that Adam didn't win the competition.
I just don't feel that he represents "America's Next Top Model" in a positive way.
And I still think that Keith is my biggest competition, but I've always had the strongest social media score out of all the guys.
Good night, bros.
Top three! For the boys! Tomorrow's our last runway show and winning is at reach.
You know yo boy gon' bring it.
I'ma bring it.
Adam: I'm so pumped, though, I can't ( bleep ) sleep right now.
( all laughing ) ( ringing ) - Hey! - Adam: We get to use the LINE app, video call.
I get to see my mom and dad.
I'm so happy.
Adam's mom: Did you have a great time? Yeah, we're in Seoul, South Korea.
It's awesome.
Adam: Winning this competition would really make my family proud.
Yeah, my dad said, "All right, well, you know, if you're droppin' out of grad school and you're gonna go model, then be serious about it and go be a good model.
" Now they're judging us on our whole body of work.
Adam's mom: That's pretty surreal.
- Yeah, it's crazy.
- Adam: I have grown, you know, exponentially as a model.
Tyra said, "Adam, it is scary how good your pictures are.
" Oh.
( chuckles ) Adam: Like, can I do this as a career? It's like, "Yes.
" I love you so much.
- Adam's dad: See you.
- Bye.
Will: My entire life has been hiding.
"Don't let anyone see who you are.
" I was trying to do things that other people wanted me to do, I was trying to get a good job, trying to get married and have babies, but now looking back, I was like, "That person, I don't know who that was.
" 'Cause I've learned so much about myself and been so vulnerable this entire competition, which is terrifying, but it's really awesome for me to feel so confident in myself and so comfortable with who I am because I never felt that before I started this.
- ( ringing ) - Will's mom: Hey! - Hi! - Tired? Um, I'm not tired, I'm just-- it's exhausting.
It's been a long journey.
- You look good.
- Thanks.
Will: If I won this competition, my mom and dad would be, like, so proud of how far I've come as a person - and you can't put a price on that.
- Well, I have to go.
- Okay, I love you! - I love you, too.
- Bye.
- Bye.
Keith: I got to call my "mama bear" on the LINE app and it means everything to see my mother, you know? Seein' her face pushes me forward and helps me get through these hard, long days.
- South Korea? - Man, it's amazin'! I miss the hell outta you.
Family is number one in my life.
- Hey, sister! I miss you, sister! - Hi, I love you.
- How my nephews doin'? - They're good.
Oh, yeah? Kiss 'em for me.
Keith: My nephews they're in the projects right now as we speak.
I know how I want my kids to live and I know how I want my nephews to live, so I have to pull them out of that environment.
I love y'all and I'll speak to you soon.
- Bye, Keith! We love you.
- Love you, too.
Keith: I'm the first in my family to achieve anything from gettin' a college degree, playin' professional sports.
I've defied so many odds and if I don't win this competition, that would be a waste of a mission.
It's runway time.
Will: We arrive at our location for the final runway and we look around and it's this super long runway that has ramps and all kinds of crazy stuff.
Hey, you guys.
( overlapping hellos ) Welcome to the site of your final test today.
You are gonna be walking in a fashion show for designer Lie Sang Bong, one of Korea's most celebrated designers.
And you're gonna be walking here along the famed Han River in front of the amazing lights of the Floating Island.
I wanna see strong, gorgeous faces on the runway 'cause your former competitors will be joining you on the catwalk.
And guess what? Jourdan Miller, who won "America's Next Top Model" last season, is gonna be walking here tonight with you in the show.
I hope you guys brought all the fierceness that you've learned because you'll be walking in front of hundreds of people from Seoul's top entertainment and fashion industry.
Oh, my God.
Nervous as hell at this point, but as a model in this competition, it's all about progression and I feel I've grown so much.
All right, you guys are gonna go that way.
Good luck! Dude, it's insane.
There's three guys.
- How's everybody doin'? - Adam: We'll all be in big trouble.
- Keith: Great.
- Adam: Yu Tsai! Yu Tsai: Do you guys remember Jourdan Miller, the winner of "America's Next Top Model" cycle 20? - ( cheering ) - You know, I know exactly how you're feeling right now.
- The stress is high - Will: I am excited to see Jourdan, knowing that she has been through the same things we're going through.
And to have her open for our show is a really awesome thing.
I gave up everything to come into this competition.
I gave up my job, teaching my girls how to dance, and to go home with money and a spread in "Nylon" and to not have that and to go home to nothing would just be awful.
- What do you think about that? - I'm comin' for you.
I'm comin' for the title.
The title! Is he gonna win or are you gonna win? Adam: Keith and I have a lot of similarities.
Both, you know, pretty masculine, good-looking guys.
When you're walking, just be cool.
That versus this.
Keith.
Keith: I have to win.
I've come so far and I'm very confident.
- You ready? - Best photo.
- Yes! Best photo.
- Thank you.
How are you? I feel Adam, he's progressed so fast.
Best photo twice in two weeks.
He continues to pull off that shot.
- Did you drink? - Uh, we had a couple drinks.
- You had a couple? You're sober now, right? - Oh, yeah.
I'm good.
Will: I think that Keith's my biggest competition.
He and I have, I think, the strongest looks and I think we're the most versatile, but I love to perform.
I got this.
Like, I'm gonna go out there and prove to the judges that I can be "America's Next Top Model.
" Yu Tsai: All right, models.
Time to get dressed.
Almost showtime! - This is it? Final runway.
- Yeah.
Denzel: Keith and I kind of have similar looks, so since I can't win it, we'll let Keith win it.
Raelia: I'm pullin' for Will, of course, hello.
There's no doubt in my mind that Will will win.
He has everything that a model should have.
Sorry, Adam and Keith.
I'm on Will's team.
( cheering ) Man: Here she is, Miss Tyra Banks.
( crowd cheering ) ( speaks Korean ) Welcome to our wonderful final fashion show of "America's Next Top Model" cycle 21, guys and girls.
( crowd cheering ) - Are you excited?! - Crowd: Yeah! So our models have gone from soul to Seoul, baby! I have to say I have had an amazing time here in Seoul and I have had so much kimchi, I dream kimchi at night.
It is so good and bibimbap, bibimbap, bibimbap, bibimbap.
Okay, you know I'm crazy, so excuse my craziness.
You guys rock, so give yourselves a hand.
( cheering ) Biggest audience in "Top Model" history! Our competition has come down to just three finalists.
Tyra on monitor: Adam Keith and Will.
Which means for the first time ever a guy is gonna win "America's Next Top Model.
" ( crowd cheering ) So before we start the fashion show, I'm gonna tell you some of the things that the models have been doing this week.
Our models shot a wonderful fashion spread for "Nylon" magazine and the winner of "America's Next Top Model" will be featured in a wonderful spread.
Check it out.
( rap music playing ) Great.
Cool.
It's really tough to say who the better model is, Will or I.
Week in and week out when I just, you know, keep gettin' great feedback from Tyra.
It came off great.
You boom, boom, boom sliced it.
I'm hands down the most improved model by far.
( growls ) - Hey, Will.
- Hey.
I want the "Nylon" spread so bad.
- Cool.
- Will: That's a huge deal.
The kind that gets you on the map for when you start your career as a model.
Marvin: Too posey, drop your chin.
Runnin' out on the field on my first NFL game was, like, amazin'.
This definitely tops that.
Ah, man.
The goal line is so close.
There's a lot at stake and there's a lot to lose, so I cannot drop the ball.
Marvin: Okay, let's knock it out.
Great.
Awesome.
Keith's been on fire since we've been here in Korea.
Two challenge wins, two best photos in a row.
Keith: I'd have never thought in a million years that I would have this opportunity, but my hashtag, in the beginning, was #theone.
You know, I'm the one to bring this throne home for the guys.
- Got it.
- I'm ready.
I'm ready.
( cheering ) So we have to do something that is my new passion, which is kick this off with a performance by one of the top K-pop groups, and they're international fashion icons.
- 2NE1.
- ( cheering ) ( music playing ) ( singing in Korean ) They love me 'cause I'm hot They love me 'cause I'm cold They love me 'cause I'm real They love me 'cause I kill Adam: Everyone's startin' to feel the-- just energy of how cool this show's gonna be.
I'm pumped up! Like, just so much adrenaline.
( screams ) ( singing in Korean ) I don't care Well, hello.
Hi.
You guys look so good.
Everybody looks beautiful.
The show's about to start.
- Yes.
- Tyra: Korea's biggest K-pop band, pumpin' up the packed crowd.
- And this is a huge night for you guys.
- ( overlapping yesses ) So can I have Adam and Keith and Will, please? I'm sure you've been sleepin' and thinkin', "How am I gonna work this runway as a finalist?" But I have to tell you something.
I have a very important announcement.
Adam: Yo, no way, like, "Ah, is this happening?" Like, "Uh-oh, if I get eliminated, I'm gonna cry.
" they love me 'cause I'm cold They love me 'cause I'm real I have to tell you something.
- Have fun! - ( cheering ) I was like, ( sighs ).
( laughs ) I saw Keith's face, he was like, "Oh, no.
" Keith: Yeah, she definitely got me.
Like a drip of ( bleep ) came out.
This is the first time we've only had boys in the finalists.
And as a girl model, I have to say I'm a little upset, but we are celebrating them because they have been very strong.
So it's time for you to stomp, stomp, stomp to the death.
Be amazing.
Make me proud.
- ( cheering ) - Will: This is the performance of my life.
This is-- everything is on the line right now.
This is the wire and it's time to just kill it and do our best.
Okay, bye.
I got 21 big brothers To me you ain't big, brother Yu Tsai: Song's almost over, get your last looks.
Adam: I get the same comment week after week, "Adam, you're too stiff.
" So I have to make sure I'm relaxed in the walk.
You know, let the shoulders back, be smooth, have some swag.
( singing in Korean ) Everybody, one, two, three, ready?! ( cheering ) - Hey.
- ( cheering ) You're up, go.
( music playing ) Whoo! Boom, boom, boom Adam: I'm a little nervous because I am right behind Jourdan, but I hate losing.
This is game seven of my World Series right here.
Tyra: Not bad, Adam! Not bad! Keep it loose and sexy! Loose and sexy! Karma, karma, karma is lookin' for you What you gon' do when they come for you? Go, Mirjana! What you 'gon do, huh? Nice, Shei! - Right? - Definitely.
Keith: I cry before every game, you know, since high school.
Half of the reason was because I knew that my mother and my father wasn't gonna be there.
And I would pick a spot in the stands and I would pretend my family was watching.
And today I'm gonna do the same.
So this is a huge moment.
This is for them.
( rap music playing ) J.
Alexander: Yes! So beautiful! - Make me proud.
I'm excited for you.
- I will.
I promise, - I promise.
- I'm so excited for you.
This is the performance of a lifetime - Yu Tsai: Go! - Will: and I'm pumped, I am excited, I have a great outfit.
I look awesome.
This is it.
This is everything.
( rap music continues ) ( cheering ) - J.
Alexander: All right, Will! - Tyra: Yeah, Will! Whoo! Oh, yeah, girl! Yu Tsai: Come on! Get in your clothes! Will: That was such a high.
I have so much adrenaline and I'm so happy.
This is what I live for.
Where was the lineup? Come on, what happened to my lineup?! - You guys, get up here! - Man: Adam! It's a very, very tight race right now and, you know, one more lap on the runway and it's over.
So this is your last chance to impress the judges.
( barking ) Yu Tsai: This is your moment.
Last walk! - Ready?! - ( cheering ) Come on! Ready?! Cycle 21! ( cheering ) Ooh! Tyra: Lenox! Oh, yeah! Find it! Keith: This opportunity is life-changing.
Now I really have to step up and be a man that my family needs.
dip it, dip it, pat it, pat it, click it, click it And my father, I know he's lookin' down.
He's with me.
He would be very proud of me.
You know, I've accomplished so much - and I made it so far.
- Yu Tsai: There we go.
- He's in his zone now.
- ( crowd cheering ) Keith: I feel my father would say, "Well done, my son.
Well done.
" Ooh! Ooh! Keith: I don't think you could put in words how this moment feels.
( crying ) ( rap music continues ) Adam: You know, win or lose, I know I made my mom and dad proud, but you better believe I'm not lettin' off the gas pedal.
Yes, Adam! Ooh! Ooh! Adam: I want this title so, so bad.
Will: There's a culmination of me reaching for my dreams and going for what I wanna do and being happy and that's the first time I've ever done something for myself.
Will, yes! Yu Tsai: All right, let's get you guys in order.
This is the last one.
Stay as a model all the way through the end.
Go! ( cheering ) ( cheering ) Yu Tsai: Cycle 21! I wanna win this competition more than anything.
This one, Mr.
Swagger! Yes! Yes! Keith: I've been through hell and I deserve some heaven.
You know, and this would be the perfect heaven.
I'm really happy.
( sniffles ) That's why I'm crying.
- I love all of you so much! - You did it! - You did it, boo boo.
- Will, Will, Will, Will, Will.
- So proud of you.
- I've seen myself grow and made myself proud and made all the people in my family really proud.
So just a very emotional moment.
One of you will be cycle 21's "America's Next Top Model.
" - And the winner is-- just kidding! - ( all laugh ) - Not my job! - Adam: It's out of my hands now.
Keith, Will, or I will be crowned the first male winner in "America's Next Top Model" history! ( chanting "cycle 21" ) So we have three beautiful men as our finalists and that's amazing 'cause it's the first time in "Top Model" history.
But only one of you is "America's Next Top Model.
" Who is that? You know our judges.
Kelly Cutrone, fashion PR maven.
Miss J.
Alexander, runway diva coach extraordinaire, and taken every accoutrement in Seoul, Korea, and put it on top of his head.
And, you notice, Yu Tsai.
Yu Tsai's the creative consultant for "Top Model" and he has mentored you on all of your photo shoots.
I'm gonna say these prizes for the last time because one of you will be walking away with these prizes.
The first is a fashion spread in "Nylon" magazine that every single one of you shot, but only one of those fashion stories will run in "Nylon.
" You also will have the opportunity to be represented by Next Models, and, of course, a $100,000 prize from Guess.
We walked in a fabulous fashion show last night, didn't we? It was larger than life.
The designer was Lie Sang Bong and right now we're gonna take a look at all of your walks.
Are we ready to start? - Yes.
- Yes, let's do it.
Will Adam and Will and Keith please step forward? The first walk we are going to analyze is Adam's walk.
J.
Alexander: Your walk was consistent.
If it wasn't my professional eye seeing it, people probably would've thought you were absolutely genius.
Kelly: I think you've made a tremendous amount of growth from how Tyra's talked to you about your rigidness and you could pass for a good runway model on the first pass.
The second one, it didn't read great.
Yeah, I think you were feeling yourself on the end, you were saying, "Tyra wants me to be sexy.
So let me take it to the right and then take it to the left and then take it to the middle.
" Blue suede steel was needed.
- ( laughs ) - Okay, Will, here's your walk.
J.
Alexander: Sometimes I feel that you're holding back and because you have such height, and for me, it's all about that height and I think you should command presence at 6'6".
Tyra: Yeah, I feel like you lost your presence.
You're so strong in your photos, you're so beautiful in person.
The runway, you just left it at home.
It's like Adam threw a little bit of his stiffy-doo your way and you caught it.
All right, your walk, Keith.
J.
Alexander: I see it, I feel it.
Yeah, I think you could have just loosened up a bit, but I thought it was great.
I love the second walk that you did.
There was a smile and a light to your energy and I could feel that coming toward me and I like that.
You had a nice Keith smize, you weren't dead in the eyes.
And you did a little bit of mugging at the end, but not as much as Adam.
Okay, so, you all shot commercials for my cosmetics line and these makeup videos are in true "Top Model" style: fun and fierce.
This makeup video showcases everything y'all have learned all cycle long.
Modeling, acting, and most importantly, star quality.
- I can't wait to see these.
- And, Will, let's see your makeup commercial for Tyra cosmetics.
And you had two products: Sculpt in a Stick and Light in a Stick.
Without makeup, I would've never been a supermodel.
Can I get a cheekbone? Anybody got a cheekbone? I paint them on.
You want sky-high cheekbones? Shade it, highlight it.
Introducing Sculpt in a Stick and Light in a Stick for all your contouring needs.
- Chisel.
- Sparkle.
- Glide.
- Tyra: 'Cause it's, oh, so slick, quick, and easy to blend.
Slips on your skin like buttah.
Tyra: And if you think you're booching boy needs a little bit more boom, boom, boom.
- Get to sculpting.
- Do it, baby.
Dab it, dab it, dip it, dip it Oh, yeah, baby - Sculpt in a Stick.
- Light in a Stick.
Tyra: Eye see your beauty.
Yu Tsai: Tyra, amazing! This is huge! You guys are in a commercial with Tyra Banks! I love to see you, Will.
I love your energy.
You seem a lot more confident and more sure of yourself.
You really do.
There's something special about Will.
Kelly: He's a star.
You really listen.
Your body shapes and movement.
It makes sense to be a dancer that day.
Tyra: Will, you are an amazing mover.
You have command of your body.
You been workin' on your boom, boom, boom? - Sit ups? Crunches? Sideways? - Mm-hmm.
Tyra: I am really proud of you.
All righty, Keith.
Now it's time to see your commercial.
And your product was Lip Model.
( smooch ) While fighting for my dreams, there have always been naysayers.
While you're on your way to the top, kiss those trolls good-bye with Lip Model lipstick in shades Hater Blocker and What it Takes.
With ultrarich conditioning emollients.
Water-resistant, micro-mirror technology.
- Shine.
- Bright.
- Shine.
- Star.
Tyra: So you have your Hater Blocker.
Check.
Now it's time to show 'em you have what it takes.
Runway walk to me, baby.
Werk that hallway like a runway - Werk that hallway like a runway - Lip Model.
- Kiss me.
- ( smooches ) Woman: Bootyful.
Tyra: Eye see your beauty.
For the first time, I am speechless.
And one of the things that I continue to say to you is that "you have one strong look.
" Not today.
He showed us a different side of him.
A little swagger that we're looking for the entire cycle.
Tyra: Keith, you have versatility.
The face and the energy, I remember just bein' like, "Whoa, he's gettin' it.
" All righty, Adam, let's see your makeup commercial.
And your product was Oops Liner.
- So you know when-- - You finish your left eyeliner - and it's all perfect - She's a boss.
but then you get to your right eye and it's like, "What the hell is this?" - Oops.
- Mess-up.
- Fess-up.
- ( growls ) - Do-over.
- Tyra: For your eyeliner mishaps, mess-ups, - and mistakes.
- Help is on the way, baby.
There's Oops Liner for that.
Oops Liner is a dual-ended stick with black liquid eyeliner on one side and eyeliner corrector on the other that corrects your imperfections and sharpens your wing tips.
- Eraser? - Tyra: Yeah, girl.
Both: Oops Liner.
Tyra: Eye see your beauty.
Adam: Yeah, that was cool.
I think Adam has come a long way.
Wonderful, genius.
Adam was more connected with the other girl.
I felt like they were together selling makeup more.
If I had to pick one favorite, Adam, I think that you kind of came through a little more.
Tyra: Stiffy-doo is gone.
And I remember being on set and you were super-duper comfortable.
Not tense, not weird.
Adam, you rocked it.
And what I love about all three of you guys is everybody was on point.
- That was under pressure? - Under pressure.
And for products that you don't wear.
For products that are for women.
And I was so proud of all three of you.
Camera really loved you guys.
It was great.
Tyra: This is gonna be really, really tough.
I mean all three of you are strong models.
- Well, here's the situation.
- Oh, the situation.
Oh, here's the situation of all situations.
J.
Alexander: The situation is there's only one "America's Next Top Model" and, Tyra, we have to come to that decision in some sort of way.
Tyra: Well, we have one final element to review.
Your body of work.
Who has what it takes to be the first guy to become "America's Next Top Model"? Now we're going to evaluate your body of work.
We're taking you back, baby, to the first photo shoot you did as finalists with the water rainin' down.
Starting with Adam.
Yu Tsai: When we started working together, I began to realize that you're so calculated.
You'd study every move and I knew that was going to be a problem if you didn't loosen up.
Kelly: Adam, I can't believe how much you've changed.
Tyra: Who the hell is that? Adam, with your photo, it was frat boy meets Tarzan - Yu Tsai: Mm-hmm.
- but I still like the picture.
Keith.
Kelly: Keith, I love your shot.
It's my favorite shot.
I think you're really bringing the power.
I feel you coming through the water and I really love it.
Tyra: You just gave it strength.
Straight just ( grunts ).
Just simmering sexuality without looking sleazy.
Well done.
J.
Alexander: I thought Keith looked great, but I didn't know that Keith was gonna continuously give me that same look, you know, photo shoot after photo shoot.
Tyra: Will.
Will was absolutely the editorial "i-D" magazine kinda pose.
Tyra: Yes.
Will, I loved your photo this week with the eye and the body and the control.
Next, "No Gloves, No Love" photo shoot.
Adam, I remember you got your shot so fast.
This is when I started paying attention to you.
And I said, "Oh, he's the type that studies and listens to critique and he gets better.
" - Keith.
- Kelly: Keith, I really love this shot of you a lot.
And one of the things that I was always looking from you was could you bring something else other than the "I'm hot in my underwear sports guy" shot.
And I felt like you were a fierce warrior here.
The face and the energy.
Lookin' over your shoulder at yourself.
I remember just bein' like, "Damn good.
" But you struggled.
Will.
In this shot I loved that you took that dance in to modeling.
- Kelly hates the armpit - I hate this picture! Tyra: social media was not feelin' you lookin' at your armpit, but, y'all, I chose the picture, okay? And I like it.
You guys also did a photo shoot where the boys were embodying Elvis.
- Who the heck is this?! - Tyra: Yes! 'Cause it wasn't just the photo, it was your, like, performance on set was just exhilarating! It's like you were giving these people a performance.
J.
Alexander: I thought it was great, wonderful, genius.
- And let's look at Keith.
- Kelly: Great energy, super swivel hip.
Love.
Tyra: You slid back, Keith, on this and it was a hot mess of a me havin' to wiggle my hips and, damn, you kinda got it, but it was a no-neck monster.
Kelly: I love it, I don't care, you got energy.
- And, Will.
- Yu Tsai: two, three.
Kelly: This was when I was starting to get concerned about you in the competition a little bit and wasn't sure that you were gonna even make it to the finals.
We were just losing you and you were sinking, sinking, sinking.
What am I looking at right now? Hunchy-doo! It's the Willy-hunch.
Mm-hmm.
And you guys also did a photo shoot for Guess with Yu Tsai.
Kelly: This is when I was getting confused.
- Me, too.
- I was like, "What?! Why are we still talking about Adam here?!" I thought he'd be puttin' suntan lotion on someone's back in Acapulco.
But he just can't get tall unless he uses Yu Tsai's lifts.
What lifts?! What are you talkin' about?! Guess don't care.
Guess has launched models a lot shorter than you expect.
Tyra: I was looking at the film as it was happening and I was like, "Adam is getting better week after week.
" - Thank you.
- Then we have Keith.
Yu Tsai: I love this shot.
This shot can be a Guess iconic moment.
And we didn't struggle a whole lot to get here.
We actually worked together really well and that's when I thought, "Wow.
" If you're looking for that hot, sexy, smouldery, smizey guy, - then he's your guy.
- J.
Alexander: He's your guy.
Tyra: And, Will.
- J.
Alexander: Love it.
- Yu Tsai: I love it.
You are smizing into the distance.
And calling somebody's name with your eyes.
Yu Tsai: This is the kind of shot that elevates a brand.
I love it.
So the time has come.
We have to add in your average social media score, the average challenge score, and the judges are going to give you a score based on your body of work and your potential.
Only one of you will be "America's Next Top Model.
" The one thing I can say is you guys have all gone on this beautiful journey and are new people because of it.
When I call you back, I will announce who is the very first male that will win "America's Next Top Model.
" Tyra: Three beautiful male modeling beauties stand before me, but only one of you is "America's Next Top Model.
" The judges have looked at your entire body of work and they have scored that on top of your average social media scores and your average challenge score and we have a winner.
Who is it? The first name that I'm going to call is not "America's Next Top Model.
" Adam.
So sorry, but you are not "America's Next Top Model.
" Adam: Making it this far and learning a lot about the industry.
I've had a blast.
I came in, you know, kinda wild, frat boy, no experience as a model.
And I'm leavin' leaps and bounds from where I started.
So that leaves us with Will and Keith, but only one of you is "America's Next Top Model.
" What are you feeling right now, Will? I just think back about, like, five years ago.
( crying ) I was just in a bad place.
I was so scared of everything and thought that I was gonna have to live a huge lie in front of everyone, but I don't have to anymore.
You have so many people that love you and support you, not just us in this room, but millions of fans around the entire world.
And what are you thinkin' right now? - Super nervous, like - ( chuckles ) my chest is in my stomach.
I'm excited and nervous and ( exhales sharply ) I see a little glaze in your eye, too.
Yeah, definitely.
Uh-- - It's okay to cry.
- ( chuckles ) I cry all the time.
So, who's "America's Next Top Model"? Keith, you are "America's Next Top Model.
" Congratulations! Well deserved.
Well deserved.
How you feel? You are a true model now.
Like, guys will look at you, wanna be you.
Girls look at you, wanna be with you.
Thank you so much! - Are you proud of yourself? - Yes.
You take the most beautiful pictures.
I said you have one of the strongest faces in this competition.
I'm walking away with a newfound person inside of myself that I'm so proud of and I want everyone to know I'm goin' back to small-town Texas and they better watch out 'cause this big-town fella's gonna take over the world.
So, Keith, you are the very first - male winner of "America's Next Top Model.
" - Wow.
Thank you.
Keith is "America's Next Top Model"! - Oh, my God.
- Yu Tsai: All that yelling paid off! - Thank you, Yu Tsai! - Congratulations, I'm so proud of you.
You did an awesome job.
Keith: Comin' to this competition, I'd have never thought in a million years that I'd have made it this far and actually be crowned, you know, the first male to become "America's Next Top Model.
" It's amazin'.
I feel so favored and grateful.
Thank God, my football coaches that motivated me to achieve all my goals.
Thank my mother, you know, for not giving up on me and always believin' in me and in my dreams.
Give me a hug, Keith! I'm so proud of you! You came so far! This is a huge opportunity and a huge responsibility that you now have on your gorgeous shoulders.
No matter if you're privileged or not, you have to believe in yourself.
What the mind thinks, the body follows, and as long as you keep that mind-set and you persevere, you can achieve anything.
You know, look where I'm at.
Thank you all for being hard on me and not givin' up on me.
When they told me no, you told me yes.
And I appreciate you all.
My father is here and he's definitely, you know, rejoiced and saying, you know, "You did it, my son.
Well done and you're 'America's Next Top Model.
'" I can't believe I'm "America's Next Top Model"! Wanna be on top? Wanna be on top? You know it's X-X-I, baby Na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na, na, na Na, na, na, na ( music playing )
