Doing our job out here, we work with a lot of different agencies.
Our county borders several agencies, and communicating with them while we're doing our is very important.
Criminals often cross they don't have boundaries so they'll cross jurisdictions, and so we have to be able to communicate with them.
We're northbound 99 north of 47th following a white vehicle with a black guy wearing a red jacket, possibly related to your 2-45.
had a red sticker.
Does that vehicle have it? It does.
The plate is "6-king-Charles" He's going.
He's going.
Right now we're in pursuit of a assault-with-a deadly-weapon suspect.
We monitored the Sacramento police department who put out a call of about a guy who assaulted somebody with a pole.
We found the suspect vehicle on the freeway, and now we're in pursuit of it.

I'm sorry, approaching harbor boulevard.
Speeds are a hundred, traffic's moderate.
So we're still in pursuit of this vehicle.
Oh, they did! I smell rubber.
I smell rubber.
I think it did work.
He may have hit a tack strip.
So the suspect that we've been chasing may have hit one of the spike strips that one of the agencies put out.
That's all right.
It's just a cone.
Yeah, he did.
His front right tire and back rear tire is out.
are coming apart.
This should be terminating here really soon.
We're coming up to, I think, Pedrick road.

We're starting to pick up some CHP units.
They haven't caught up yet, but they're close.
He's going on three good tires and one bad one.
We're westbound 80, speeds are down to 80.
We're passing Pedrick.
We're just waiting for his tires to come apart and him to slow down to the point where we can use the pursuit immobilization technique, where we spin him out to get him to stop this pursuit.
pursuit off to CHP.
So, right now, we've handed the pursuit off to CHP.
to 60.
Looks like this is going to be terminating here really soon.
We're at pitt school road.
Still westbound on 80.
CHP's gonna do the pursuit move.
Okay, easy.
I'm getting the rifle.
Get out of the car with your hands up! Here, I'll take it.
Step out of the car! Face forward! Face forward! Lift your jacket up! I got it, I got it.
Okay, interlace your fing take it off.
Take it off.
Just take it off and set it on the ground.
Interlace your fingers behind your head.

Keep walking.
Keep walking.
Stop! Take two steps to your right! Stop! There's nobody in there.
Right behind you.
Okay, it's all good.
I got scared, that's it.
So what happened? I got scared, man.
You got scared of the cops or what happened? What happened at the motel over there on stockton? You said what happened? Yeah, why, what's with this whole thing for, man? What do you mean? Why'd you run for, like, 50 Miles? Sir, I didn't run for 50 Miles.
I just got scared.
What were you doing when the cops were behind you? What were you thinking? I was scared.
Of what? What are you scared of? I don't want to go to jail.
Are you on parole or probation? I don't want to go to jail.
Are you on parole or probation? My name is amos.
Yes.
Are you on parole or probation? I'm on parole, sir.
Okay, what are you on parole for, man? Drugs or other stuff? Nah.
Yes, yeah.
Okay.
Have you ever been involved in a police pursuit before? No, sir.
This is the first time? Yeah.
It's crazy, huh? It's scary.
That's some scary stuff.
I'm just glad At least no one got hurt.
I'm just glad you didn't bash into anybody.
I'm glad I didn't hurt myself or I didn't hurt no one.
Yeah, we're glad of that, too.
That was good.
At least your car didn't get jacked up at all either.
Yeah, my girl, she actually really needs that, man.
What's that? This your lady's car? Yeah.
We actually bought it.
Well, there's nothing wrong with it.
It has a little paint when they did the spin maneuver on you.
So it's not all jacked up.
Okay.
Do us a favor.
Yes, sir? Never run from the cops again.
Next time, don't run from the cops.
That stuff's scary.
All right.
All right, man.
Good luck.
Watch your feet.
Over there at one of the motels off of Mattsee, him and his girl got into a disagreement because he was wanting her to go out and prostitute, and she wasn't willing to do it.
So he actually took an ashtray and smashed her face in.
She's got some bleeding and cuts to her face.
So he caused some injuries to her? Yeah.
Now I heard also he's wanted for a robbery.
Yeah, part of that is he took her cell phone.
Okay.
So, yeah, so the 245; The assault with the deadly weapon and then the taking of the cell phone.
Okay.
Did you see when or how they spiked this vehicle? Yeah, the Davis police department, one of the suburbs of Sacramento, they were at highway 80 and olive road and they had the spike strips out on the freeway.
Looks like he only got one of 'em, one of his tires, the right front.
Had he not got this tire, we'd be still driving.
For sure.
On the way to the bay area still in pursuit of this guy.
Yeah, and he did a great job.
He didn't get hurt and he didn't get us, either, so that's great.
Yeah, so he's going to jail for violating his parole and the pursuit, and whatever the Sacramento police department books him on for the suspected robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
And so he'll be off the streets for a while.
Good job.
I don't like working inside an office.
I've never had a job where I was inside a building all day long, and I like this.
I like being outside, have the freedom to go places.
When we're not answering calls, we can drive around town, get to see the town growing, expanding.
We're going to a call domestic call that apparently the male half has kicked the female in the stomach twice.
Now he's refusing to come out of the house.

And he started yelling for us to get our stuff and get out, and that he was gonna call y'all, and And I got I won't I got rude with him; I got real rude with him.
I won't lie about that.
Okay.
I didn't hit him, I didn't get physical with him.
It was just verbal.
And then I was in the room packing our stuff and then she went out there to talk to him.
And he kicked her in the stomach not once but twice.
