Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files (2010) s02e04 Episode Script

Playground Poltergeist & Alien Intruder

It sounds like it's coming from the window of the bedroom.
Is there someone there? Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh, God! Oh! Oh, my God! Let's blast this thing.
And 3 2 1 Blast! Oh, my goodness! There's a flying saucer.
I'm getting a series of lights right there.
Are you seeing what I'm seeing? What the heck is happening? How you guys doing? Things are good.
So, Austin, what do you got? All right, guys.
I have a video that was shot in There's a family that keeps waking up every morning, and they notice that their kitchen-pantry door is left open.
They don't think much of it.
They purposely start shutting the door at night and notice it opens again.
So they decide, "You know what? Let's take out a video camera and see if we can actually figure out what is going on.
" Check out the video.
First the door opens on its own, and you think, "Okay, we could find reasonable explanations for what's going on.
" Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh, my God! Oh, that is really creepy.
Yeah.
Not much of a reaction from him, though.
Well, isn't that a little bit too convenient, almost like the videographer knew what was going to happen? Well, yeah, I mean, one of my first thoughts is, "Why isn't he reacting?" If I had seen something like that, I would have gone running across the room.
But as you're watching the video, you'll see that there was actually a subtle edit point.
You see that? There is an edit point there.
As a matter of fact, there's a slight dissolve at the edit point to disguise the cut.
At that point, someone could have actually gone into the closet, hidden there, and gotten ready to come into the frosted glass to create this "ghostly video," if you will.
Right, and you could just use monofilament line to pull the door open that's not hard to do.
So, what do you guys think? Is it worth going out and looking further into, or do we think this is just some creative editing? I think it's likely creative editing.
I'm suspicious about this one.
I would pass.
I think it'd be fun to replicate, and I don't necessarily see an editing point.
I think it just could be autofocus and the camera panning.
But, I mean, it's the first video.
I want to see what everyone else has.
Ooh.
Healthy competition.
I like it.
Well, I think this is really pointing towards a hoax, but it is creepy.
I'd like to revisit a case that we took a look at in the first season.
Now, if you remember, David Eckhart and his family had alien visitations for over 10 years in Florida.
Remember this video? Yeah, I do.
Here's this little guy peeking into their bedroom.
And they set up a video camera in the room.
And, you remember, towards the bathroom, there was this figure that comes walking out.
It's about 3 to 4 feet tall.
There's actually only a few frames taken from several hours, but this is all that was left of his corrupted video file when he reviewed it.
Right.
I recall speculating that this could have been maybe one of his kids, but then we found out that they're teenagers, right? Exactly.
We put it aside because we wanted to see if the family had any further evidence.
Well, there is.
Check this out.
This video was set up in their bedroom, and it appears to capture what looks like an alien hovering over the bed.
Oh, wow! Yeah.
That's crazy-looking.
This new video is really interesting.
You can definitely see a figure hovering over the bed near the ceiling.
I know.
This video seems really, really distorted.
And what are all the different light sources around there? Well, it does get a little complex in his setup.
I mean, David is actually filming this through a reflection of one of those panoramic mirrors that you see security cameras mounted in.
He did it because he said he wanted to capture a wider angle of the whole room, and to capture more light.
He was experimenting with a lot of different lighting situations.
And because he was trying to disguise the camera.
He felt like the entity wouldn't hide if he did that.
I do like this clip, but just to play devil's advocate, he also could have had this elaborate setup just to give the illusion of alien visitation.
I mean, exactly.
Is there anyone else in the family that would be willing to talk to us about it? We have his wife.
She's willing to come forward, as well.
Guys, this is a really solid case.
We have two compelling videos.
We have eyewitnesses.
Looks really testable.
I think it meets all of our requirements.
Let's see what else we have today.
Sounds good.
This one comes to us all the way from Jerusalem.
It was captured just a few weeks ago.
And once it hit the web, within hours, viral frenzy.
Around 1:00 A.
M.
on a Saturday night, multiple witnesses saw a mysterious light hovering over the holy city's Dome of the Rock.
Check it out.
So there it is coming down out of the sky.
Oh.
Yeah, you can see it.
It hovers right above the dome of the rock.
Now, wait for it.
Whoa! Whoa.
Wow.
Like a reverse falling star.
Whoa! Were there more witnesses that night? Not a lot of people have come forward.
Jerusalem is a major religious center with hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
You'd think there would be more witnesses.
Well, don't forget, it was you would think there would have been more witnesses.
I know this video.
Very, very popular.
This is getting a lot of buzz, because this is one of about four videos, at least, that show different angles, different people in the background, and at least one of those has been proven to be a hoax.
A lot of people say that this was a spacecraft, but there's no way, because no living creature could have survived the g-force at the speed that it flies into the sky.
My initial gut reaction is C.
G.
UFOs come and then suddenly zoom up.
It's an easy effect to do with a software program.
But nobody's been able to prove or disprove the authenticity of the video.
I think it's worth giving it a shot, guys.
The main problem is sourcing the video.
Try to see if there's C.
G.
Involved and then go from there, 'cause it is a big case.
All right, I'll do a little bit of legwork, and maybe we can revisit it later.
All right.
Let's see what else is in the pipeline today.
Guys, I have a really strange case that I haven't been able to figure out.
It takes place in a small town in Argentina called Firmat.
There's a swing set there at a children's playground that has been mysteriously swinging on its own since 2007.
Local legend has it that it was the spirit of a small boy who was killed at a construction site near the playground when it was being built.
Now, no one has been able to explain what the cause of this is, and I wanted to get your opinions.
Whoa.
Kind of creepy.
That's intense.
So, Jael, what's this guy doing? So, he is showing us that even though he stops the swing, it starts again on its own.
Looks like all three are kind of moving a little bit.
Yeah, they are.
The center one starts to turn and twist.
Yeah, it is starting to turn.
Yeah, you're right.
So does the back one, and so does the front one.
All of them.
But now the center one is starting to move much more than the other two.
Hmm.
That's weird.
I mean, that thing started from a dead stop.
Yes.
Oh, my gosh.
Look at how vigorous it is.
Oh, yeah.
Wow.
Oh.
Yeah.
This is strange.
Now, many people have visited from all over the world to try and figure out what the cause of this is, but no one has been able to come up with a plausible explanation.
I know people are saying it's not wind, but, Ben, will you push play? I mean, look.
Do you see the leaf blowing across the screen? Clearly, there's evidence of wind that's going on right now.
That could be what's moving the swing.
But the leaf is actually moving in a different direction than the swing.
So, let's just say it was wind or some other external force.
Wouldn't it be affecting all three swings so they'd be moving at roughly the same rate? Well, guys, I think we've seen enough videos today.
Why don't we compare and vote? I like "Dome UFO," but "spooky swing" is an ongoing case.
I mean, it's got hoaxes, it's got natural explanations, it's got the supernatural.
It's not very often you get a paranormal event that occurs on a regular basis.
I mean, if the swing's still moving, I want to find out why.
Florida alien is a slam dunk for me, you guys.
I'm totally with you, Devin, on the Florida alien case.
It just fits all of our criteria.
I think we should do it.
Yep.
So, why don't I go with Devin and Chi-lan to Florida? And Bill, Austin, Jael, to south America.
Yeah! Up we go! Good times.
It's great to be here in Argentina investigating this case that has baffled physicists and paranormal experts.
It's such a strange case, you know, about a playground swing set that has been mysteriously swinging on its own with no apparent cause for almost five years.
It was 2007, and a 15-year-old boy named Fabian Biana was at the park.
He was the first to see the swing set moving on its own.
He goes back a week later, and the swing set is still moving on its own.
So he pulls out his cell phone camera, he starts recording, and now this ghost swing has become a local legend.
So, whether it's a hoax or a natural explanation, we should be able to figure it out, but we can't dismiss the locals believing that it's the ghost of a child that's still haunting the playground.
Let's get to the park and meet up with Fabian Biana.
He was only 15 when he originally reported the ghost swing.
Guys, this is such a creepy case.
I wonder if the swing sets will actually be moving on their own when we get there.
Hey, guys.
Check it out.
Looks like we're now in Firmat.
All right.
We're here.
Here's the playground right here.
Oh, check this out.
There it is.
There it is.
That's the swing set right there.
It's crazy.
It's moving.
Come on, guys.
Let's go check it out.
Crazy.
Are you seeing this? That's insane.
That's so bizarre! It's swinging! Why is it only the one in the middle? I don't know.
This is just crazy.
I can't believe it.
This blows my mind.
There's definitely a breeze, but it's not moving the other two.
No wires.
No string.
It looks like this thing's moving on its own.
So what would start it? I mean, I brought this metal detector, 'cause I wanted to see if it's something electromagnetic causing it from maybe underneath.
It's nothing.
You're not getting a reading? Nothing.
-No.
And it's working.
There's nothing underneath here.
I don't know if the explanation is rational or paranormal, but something is making just the middle swing move.
A playground swing set has been mysteriously swinging on its own with no apparent cause for almost five years.
I don't know, guys.
It's pretty creepy.
And I'm really excited to hear what Fabian has to say.
He's the boy who originally caught the footage and first saw this moving on its own.
Mm-hmm.
When he saw the strange phenomena occurring, he pulled out his cell phone camera, he started filming.
He was completely surprised that he saw the swing moving by itself and there was no one here in the park.
What does he think is causing it, then? He says that he thinks it's something paranormal, a ghost.
Gracias.
The swing is obviously still moving but just not as much as it was in the original video.
So we're gonna test a theory that somebody could have just been pulling it with a hidden string.
This is crazy that this has not stopped swinging since we got here.
Let's just test the obvious.
Let's see if it's possibly just a line attached to the swing.
So I'll just run monofilament to the bottom of it, and then I'll run it off camera.
It's interesting that this is one of the most popular theories, because there really aren't that many hiding spots in this park.
The first time I saw the video, that's what I thought it was, somebody pulling it with a fishing line.
What's tripping me out is the fact that I'm gonna have to stop this swing in order to attach line to it.
First things first.
We're gonna eliminate the obvious.
I'm just gonna attach monofilament line to the center of the swing, run it off camera, see if we can replicate the same movement as the original footage.
We're working off the theory that somebody was hiding here, pulling a line, and moving the swing.
Can you guys see me behind this tree? Bill, you're well hidden.
Once start manipulating the swing, I'm gonna use the same point-and-shoot camera that the news reporter used in the original footage.
Camera's ready.
Here comes the line.
On 3 2 1 Swing.
It's looking good, Bill, but is there any way you can manipulate it to rock side to side a little bit? Yeah.
Like that? There you go.
How's that looking? Is it matching the original video? Why don't you come on over so we can look at the footage.
Take a look.
Now, obviously, we got really close to replicating the movement.
But there are times when you can actually see the monofilament line.
What are the odds that somebody's been sitting here for the past five years pulling a string? I think it's time we move on to another experiment.
We're building a duplicate swing set because we want to see, if we pull the center seats and release them at the same time, would they both continue at the same rate and for the same amount of time? By building a duplicate swing set with the exact same specifications as the original, it should act in the same way.
If they don't, then there's something else at play with the original swing set.
Ready, bud? Ready.
It's looking really good.
All right.
Ready? -Wow Yep.
Back it up.
Right there.
And drop.
Perfect.
To make this test as accurate as possible, both seats need to be dropped from the same height and distance.
Jael, does everything look lined up and even? Looking good.
As soon as we let go, we got to get these saw horses out of the way.
And then, Jael, on your count.
You got it.
And 3 Release swings! It's great to be here in Argentina investigating this case that has baffled physicists and paranormal experts.
Today we built a duplicate swing because we wanted to see, if we pulled the center seat and released them at the same time on both swings, would they both continue at the same rate and for the same amount of time? Jael, does everything look lined up and even? - Looking good.
- All right, as soon as we let go, we got to get these saw horses out of the way.
- Okay.
- And 3 Release swings! I can already see that this one's moving more.
Look at ours.
Ours is already slowing down.
Yeah.
Look at the original swing.
It's been maintaining, if not gaining, momentum.
Two identical swings released at the same time.
One moves more than the other.
Why? Even though witnesses claim there was no wind, I think it's time to rule it out for ourselves.
Now that we've stopped the swing, I'm using an anemometer to take baseline readings.
Right now we have changing conditions of both wind speed and the direction it's coming from.
We're using this dome as an isolation chamber.
That way, we can get rid of all external weather variables.
We're gonna have complete control over the wind to find out if there is a perfect wind direction that can make only one swing move while the other ones remain stationary.
All right.
- Okay.
We ready to inflate? Yeah.
You ready? Yeah.
This is great, guys.
We've created a controlled environment, and we've cut off any exterior wind sources.
We've got complete control now.
There's this fan.
I tested it earlier.
From about 5 feet, it's about That's about what this area has been generating naturally.
Perfect.
I'm gonna man the fan.
I say we just start center on, just hit this thing, and see if we can get just that swing to move.
We're going to simulate the average wind conditions outside of the dome and see if a directional wind gust could possibly move only the center swing.
Let me close that door because there's a little bit of cross breeze.
And then I just want to check the air, be sure it is at zero before you start.
We are now currently There's no air current in here.
Let's blast this thing.
And 3 2 They're starting to move, guys.
All the wind speeds are basically the same at all three points.
It has to be the angle at which the fan is pointed.
Let's see if we can get it to only manipulate the center swing.
That's a good idea.
So, what we'll do next is move the fan to see if we can create a wind current that will just make the center one move.
Jael, you ready to rock? Ready to rock.
Blast! And the original swing is going north-south.
This is going east-west.
They're not even moving in the same direction.
Oh, my gosh, guys.
Shut off the fan.
All right.
I'll kill the wind.
I can't believe we didn't notice this.
If you look at the curve of this swing, the seat is actually wider than the rest of the swings here.
So it's possible, if it is a certain wind pattern, this one would probably have more of a possibility to move because it's a wider seat.
So, the wider the seat, the more surface area there is to actually catch the wind.
So I think we move on to our next test with different angles and see what happens then.
You guys ready to go? Right now we're at zero.
Go, wind! Setting sail.
Oh! Look at that! Look at that! Jael, you getting this? Wow! How was Argentina? Argentina was great! So, spooky swing team, tell me about Argentina.
Well, we stayed really busy in Argentina investigating the swing set that's been mysteriously swinging back and forth on its own for the past four years which has led many people to believe that it's the ghost of a young boy who died nearby that is now haunting the playground.
Wow.
What this test explores is the popular explanation that it's a hoax, that it's simply a monofilament line tied to the swing and people are just pulling it.
Oh, yeah.
It looks pretty good.
Well, no, but you can clearly see the string.
Right.
I think it's really highly unlikely that everyone missed somebody sitting with a string and pulling it hiding behind a bush.
Plus, we witnessed the swing moving on its own for ourselves and found no wires or string.
So we decided we would build an identical swing set to see if the same phenomena would occur.
We raised both the middle swings to the exact same height and released them at the exact same time.
Here's what happened.
You see how ours is already slowing down and the one behind it, the original swing, is still going? Oh, cool.
As of right now, I'm still baffled.
Next, we wanted to test the theory that wind actually did have an integral role in the movement of the middle swing.
So what we decided to do was isolate the swing set and shield it from any external forces so that we can manipulate it ourselves.
We used an inflatable dome.
Seriously, this thing was huge.
We put it straight over the swing so that there was no airflow going into it at all.
We attempted to see if we could have just the middle swing move with a high-powered fan while the other two remained stationary.
Here's the results.
Wow.
Oh, my gosh.
You guys, that looks identical.
So you can tell we were able to use the fan, point it at the right angle, and make only the middle seat swing.
The middle swing had a wider seat.
The other seats were a little bit thinner.
It was catching wind more like a sail and giving it more momentum than the other two.
I think this could be the perfect combination of environmental factors at hand here.
And it's not necessarily paranormal.
I think there are prevailing winds in most locations that would cause this to move in the way that it did.
Excellent experiments, guys.
It definitely wasn't a hoax.
Good job.
So, wait till you hear what happened in the case of alleged alien abduction.
Take a look at this.
Coming up on "Fact or Faked: Paranormal files" No way.
Can you say that you were not involved in a hoax with either one of these videos.
Absolutely.
I'll put my hand on the Bible.
Chi-lan Welcome to Milton, Florida, where our case is one of many reported extraterrestrial sightings.
We really are in paranormal central here.
What makes this case so compelling is that there are actually two videos documenting these visitations.
We've got this first video, which was in 2005.
This Florida family claims that an alien-looking creature comes into their bedroom and they have been victims of continual visitation.
Then the father, David Eckhart, captures a second incident on camera.
The alien materializes in the room, hovers above the couple's bed for just a few seconds before it disappears.
Supposedly, he conceals the camera up in the corner of the room, and he aims it at a convex security mirror and captures the reflection.
Guys, I think that's the house.
Well, let's go in and meet Dave and his wife, Jean, and get their eyewitness testimony.
Hi, David.
I'm Ben.
Nice to meet you, Ben.
Nice to meet you.
We have so many questions.
So, what exactly are these things that you're seeing? I'm seeing people in the house.
I'm only calling them "aliens" because the dark eyes, little, short people.
Jean, you say that you saw these apparitions.
What do they look like to you? I don't know what they were.
The best way I can describe is, like, the movie "Predator.
" Sparkles in the air, but you could see silhouettes.
You can touch them when they're in a transparent state.
They feel like a wet static electricity.
How long have they been visiting you? It's been going on for a while.
You think it started, then, before you moved in here.
-Definitely.
Yes.
We had the worms.
Oh, the worms, yeah.
I get up and get ready to go to work.
I can't drive down my driveway because there will be thousands of worms crossing the driveway, all heading that direction.
It's like they're heading away from your house.
Right.
Did that correlate with an experience you had that previous night or something? I don't know that it was related.
It's a strong coincidence.
I mean Why do you think it is that they decided to visit you guys? We're not the only ones.
Maybe it's just that we acknowledge it? I don't know.
Well, the video evidence that you guys captured is really amazing, and I'm very interested in finding out the geography of where everything was placed in the bedroom, which is where two of the videos were shot.
Could you show that to us? Yes.
Absolutely.
This is it, guys.
Okay.
And is this the doorway that you saw the first creature? Absolutely.
That was the doorway.
The camera would be sitting right next to the bathroom door right there.
So the camera is situated over here.
Is the globe in the center, or is it in the corner? It was sitting right up here on top of the bed.
I got to know, why were you shooting into a globe in this room? I was trying to trick them, and that way, they didn't know where the camera was set up at and if I was getting the video.
Plus, it was giving me a panoramic view of the whole room.
Okay, so, we're filming through a panoramic mirror, and the camera is on the opposite wall, and the bed is here.
And you said your wife, Jean, was in the bed.
And that's the bathroom door, where the alien emerged from.
And what about the second video that we have? Why have a strobe light? I figured that, when you get that motion, if you have a strobe light, you can see them in phases as they're moving.
Now, what is this up here in the video? That's a piece of paper.
I put this piece of notebook paper above there because a light was shining on the bowl, getting a bad reflection.
Okay.
That'll work, then.
Can you say, for 100% certainty, that you were not involved in a hoax with either one of these videos? Absolutely.
I'll put my hand on the Bible.
I was just trying to investigate.
Everything I did was an experiment.
Well, thank you so much for your information, David.
Mind if we take over your bedroom here and set stuff up? Have the run of the house, guys.
Now that we have David and Jean's eyewitness testimony, we're gonna try and replicate the footage from right here in the same location to see if the video was fact or faked.
All right.
So, we're gonna replicate the first video.
Now, one of the theories we need to explore is that David hoaxed everyone, including his family.
I mean, he was a very talented carpenter.
It's entirely possible that he created some type of creature that looks like it's coming out of the bathroom.
We're gonna see how easy it would be to replicate an alien visitation using a simple art mannequin.
Now, this guy is about the same size as the alien appears to be in the original footage.
This guy's ready to go.
Well, I've got this convex mirror, and I'll set it right in the same location that he had it.
Nice.
I'm gonna get this little guy to peek around the doorway.
I can lean him using his other arm, and I can kick out his leg using this Plexiglas.
I'll be shooting with the same type of camera that David used.
We'll shoot into the panoramic mirror, and hopefully we'll be able to replicate the source video.
So, Chi-lan will be in the bed playing the part of Jean.
We'll go lights off, and you can direct us with the iPad from the bed.
Want to come on in? All right.
Well, here it comes.
All right.
Lights off in 3 No way! So, we're gonna attempt to replicate the first video by using an art mannequin like this.
All right.
Well, here it comes.
All right.
In 3 No way! All right, guys.
I think we got it.
All right.
Let's check this out.
Okay.
Let's take a look at this.
The lighting looks really good.
It has the same sinewy limbs, right? As the alien figure in David's video.
Even the shadows on the torso and then the brightness on the chest is the same.
This video could easily be hoaxed.
Definitely.
Not saying it was, but it totally could have been.
-Yeah.
Well, let's see how easily we could replicate the second video.
Yeah.
I think that one's gonna be really difficult.
We have an alien that seems to be hovering in the room.
We got a lot more lighting to deal with, as well.
-Yeah.
David's setup was so elaborate.
He's not only shooting through this parabolic mirror that we have, but he's also got all these lights.
He's got flashlights.
He's got strobes.
It's possible that it's actually just light passing over the object that creates the illusion that it's moving.
Perfect you know, I would move it even three more inches over to the left.
How about right here? - Looks good.
- Good.
All right.
This could be a case of mistaken identity.
I mean, he's shooting from a fisheye perspective.
He's got a lot of lighting going on.
It could be that it created an optical illusion of something hovering in the room.
I'm inclined to believe that it was a natural explanation.
It could have been a coat on a rack.
Devin will be playing the part of Mr.
Eckhart in bed.
He'll have the flashlight.
He'll be going back and forth.
I'm gonna control the rate of the strobe light flashing, and Chi-lan is setting up the camera.
She'll hit the lights, and we'll go.
Alien coat rack.
Ready? Okay, in 3 2 1.
Come down.
Come back up.
Start over there by the window.
Okay.
Now come back just like you're doing.
Come up.
You guys think you got it? Let's review the tape.
You ready for the side by side? Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! That looks really good.
Look at the lighting of the room.
We got that paper at the top.
We have the wall over here, the curvature.
I mean, it isn't a perfect match.
Even though you get an idea of the body from what we've done here, you don't get the same type of willowy silhouette that we have here.
Right.
And in the original video, the head seems to almost have, like, a face-like dark spot right in the center.
We don't quite have that with our hoodie.
I could see the coat being this object.
I mean, it is kind of grainy.
However, I would like to see if we can get something that is more alien-like.
Yeah.
Let's do it.
Now that we've ruled out natural explanation for the video, we're now gonna test whether or not this video could have been created by a hoax.
So, I'm building a marionette alien puppet.
We're gonna stuff the body, and we're gonna use this rubber face constructed to look just like the original video.
And then we're gonna suspend it from the ceiling using monofilament line.
The one thing that I notice is that his legs look really, really long.
Do you think it would help if we just bent his knees? Yeah, give it a go.
Okay.
Our puppet's in position.
Flashlight's ready.
I am recording, and I'm standing by at the light.
Hovering puppet.
Ready? In 3 This looks really freaky.
You don't want to wake up to that.
Wow.
Boom.
You see the shadow on the wall? Guys, I think we got it.
That looked really good.
Let's get the lights up.
All right.
Let's take a look.
Okay.
Original's playing.
Wow! Look at that! So, our next experiment is that maybe this was a hoax.
We're gonna take an actual alien puppet and suspend it from the ceiling.
Given this lighting and the fisheye lens, maybe they just suspended a fake alien in the room.
Okay.
Our puppet's in position.
In 3, 2, 1.
Wow! Look at that! Not too bad.
We've got the torso is the right height in the air.
It casts a great shadow on the wall behind it, which kind of silhouettes it.
We've shown that it could have been something naturally in the room, and it could have been intentional.
Just because we were able to replicate these videos doesn't mean that they were hoaxed.
This case would do really well for a night-time stakeout and really not contaminate the environment and just sit back and see what happens.
I think we owe it to the Eckhart family to do a night-time stakeout and see if we can find any evidence ourselves.
Got a two-way mirror here.
Nice.
It's gonna replace the door in the closet.
Uh-huh.
Chi-lan will be stationed on the other side.
She'll be able to monitor the entire room.
Check out the laser grid! Oh, look at that! I love the fact that this is so easy to tell if something's crossing in front of it.
It just immediately breaks the grid.
If anything breaks the beams, we'll know.
I don't think we've actually ever used the person in question as "bait.
" Take a look these are all the monitors to the cameras that you guys set up.
We've got the front landing.
Remember, David said he wasn't sure how the entities got in, but doors would open up by themselves.
We've got the outside of the house.
We've got inside the room.
David's already there.
We have a thermal imager also.
Oh, my God.
See.
He's laying back, relaxing.
Oh, yeah.
And then we've got Chi-lan's space inside the closet.
That's right.
I'm gonna be in the closet behind the two-way mirror.
I'll also have the thermal scope, be taking pictures of anything that appears at all.
And then once I get in, I have to turn on the laser scope, and it's gonna be pointed right here in that area where the alien appeared.
Guys, this room is just decked out with stuff.
I'm geared up with a bionic ear, so I can hear everything, and I've got the thermal Cam that will catch what I see.
You got it covered there, Dev.
All right.
You guys ready to go green? Yeah.
I'm so ready.
All right.
All right.
Laser grid is up.
I'm out on the perimeter of the property so I can monitor the audio and the thermal of the entire area, but I'm gonna post up in this tree, so that way I can keep an eye on the roof.
If any alien beings try to contact David tonight, we'll be the first to know.
Chi-lan is in the closet now.
She's sitting right behind the two-way mirror.
Okay, Chi-lan.
I see that you're in position here.
Can you see the laser grid? It is on and ready to go.
Okay, team.
As you're out there, also remember to keep in mind all the other things David said that he was hearing, smelling, changes in air pressure, drafts that type of thing.
Copy that.
I think the main point from here on out is hang tight.
Try to keep quiet, and see what happens.
Devin to Ben.
Go ahead, Dev.
I've been getting a lot of electrical interference, and it sounds like it's coming from the window of the bedroom.
Huh? Hey, guys, David thinks he hears someone playing piano.
Wow.
I didn't even hear it on the parabolic Mike.
Hey, Chi-lan, would you retransmit? You got a lot of interference or something.
Chi-lan, we lost your camera.
You're down.
What's going on? Chi-lan, did you bump a cord in there? We've lost your camera.
Ben, I'm gonna go check this out.
That was weird, guys.
There's definitely some kind of electrical interference going on.
You're back up.
Wow.
Wait a minute.
Oh, my gosh.
Eww.
Ugh! A whole bunch of worms right around me.
That's weird.
And we didn't notice any worms earlier.
I was across the street in a satellite van with all the live feeds coming from our thermal and I.
R.
Cameras.
In fact, using all that equipment could have caused some of the electrical interferences we were having.
I don't know.
It really caught me off guard, you guys.
Maybe it's a paranormal phenomenon.
If he did have alien visitation and he walks outside and sees a whole bunch of worms I mean, at least you now know that there are worms on his lawn, so that shows that he might be telling the truth.
So, I had David's testimony submitted to layered voice analysis to see if we could get any more insight into whether it was truthful or not.
The question that we asked was, "Can you be 100% certain you were not involved in any hoax?" I'll put my hand on the Bible.
I was just trying to investigate.
Everything I did was an experiment.
Wow.
Wow.
Guys, it looks like David is probably telling the truth.
Wow.
So, what do you guys think about all this? To me, I think that this guy is victim to something, whether it's a paranormal phenomena or something psychological.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure who or what's visiting them, but it's their truth.
I don't think there was enough substantial evidence to say that it was extraterrestrial visitation.
At the end of the day, I'm really baffled by this one, because I do think something is going on, and I think they believe that something is happening to them.
Good job.
