Good evening.
We're live in Gallatin, Tennessee, hometown of the Tennessee Wraith Chasers.
Tonight, Chris, Brannon, Doogie, Porter and Mike G.
will investigate a local hot spot with a bloody history of mass executions, a mysterious murder and a dark presence that lurks to this day.

Tonight, they return to answer unresolved questions.

Now, Doogie, right before we rolled there was some crazy stuff going on in the basement.

Porter and Doogie are heading to the basement which is part of a civil war era tunnel system that runs under Gallatin.
It's cool.
What are you hoping to find? After all the bodies that were executed here many years ago, there's no telling what type of dark entities we could be dealing with inside the theater.
We could be dealing with a potential poltergeist.
These things have been known to levitate things, even throw things.
Some people say poltergeist are aggressive so we need to be careful.
It will be dangerous? Absolutely.
I hear you got a new team member just for today, Angel Leigh? That's right.
Angel has been known to communicate with some of these spirits so basically we're just hoping she can help us kind of unravel some of the mysteries of the palace tonight.
All right, Angel what is it you plan to do when you get in there? I'm known as a spiritual messenger.
My goal tonight is to walk through this beautiful palace theater and feel the energy of the home in hopes of helping these guys out during their investigation of being able to pick up spirits of that like to communicate.
Let's join Porter and Doogie live as they head into the basement of the haunted palace theater.

Smells like a dirty basement, doesn't it? oh, let me get away from Off? Man, it's creepy down here.

These used to be the underground tunnels here, like when they used to hang people in the square, this would be where they would move them in and out.
Man, they moved prisoners, slaves, everything through those tunnels.
They went all underneath Gallatin.
Between the jail, the courthouse.
Whoa.
I'm going to turn on this too and have it ready to go.
Doog, look, look.

Wraith, is this you? Look at that, dude, wide open.

You know, one of the big things about being right here on the square ooh.

Family trace? It goes back to what I called dude, it sure does.

Roth, are you still looking for your son? Look, this thing's pegging, dude, pegging.

I know I talked to you earlier in the sweep.

Roth, we know that this was your Jewel, your theater.

You built this for your daughter.
You know, you had this, was her inherit inheritance.
We know that before you were able to leave that to her, she died before you.
Are you still here waiting for her? Are you still trying to find her to give her, her inheritance? Are you looking for your son? Whoa, that was a direct hit.
Look, it's going crazy, dude, look at this.
We got family and trace, we got a direct hit here.
It goes back to earlier when I was asking.
His daughter's here but his son is not.
You know, one of the crazy things, too, you got so much spirit energy around here with the history of this place, with the Gallatin square.
You're talking about back in the days of the civil war, there were executions over here.
Wide open, dude.
You know, there was General Arthur Payne who executed people out on the square because of nothing.
Yep.
Just because of assumptions.
You have these tunnels and you have this theater connected to the Roth family.
Dude, something just went behind you.
You see a shadow? Yep.
Whoa.
Bill, is that whoa, back in that corner, I heard that.
Bill, is that you? Are you trying to communicate with us? Dude, my k-2 is going nuts.
Look at that.
Dude, there is still movement in that corner.

Oh, dude, you see that shadow? Where? Dude, it come right out of that corner again, dude, it just jetted out, like that's the first time we've ever seen a shadow come out of that corner.
No, it's not.
Mr.
Roth, we have people talking about a poltergeist here.
Are they mistaking you? Are you just trying to let them know that you're still around here? Is that what you're doing? Can you tell me that? Mr.
Roth dude, pegging, pegging.
I see it.
Pegging to red.
Did you hear that? What is that, dude? It's like something's tapping over there.
Mr.
Roth? Look at that, going crazy.
Every time we talk about.

Roth, for some reason, we keep getting this noise.
All these checks, all these papers and stuff has got his name all over 'em.
Every one of these is signed by him, William Roth.
Was this signed by you? Was this signed by your son? He run this place for you, correct? Look.
K-2's going stupid, man.
You know, there's been a lot all right, Angel, there's a few things we're looking for in this stair well.
Years ago, it's claimed there was a young lady who lost her life.
We don't really know how.
Right here in the stairway.
And then Mr.
Roth, William Roth, he used to run this theater.
A lot of people have seen him, felt his presence.
Let's go check it out, see what we can find.

A little light on the subject.

Now, back in the day, this was the segregated stairway.
There were only certain people who had to come into this stairwell.
We're going to see what kind of activity we can get here.
I got a k-2.
I have a geophone that measures vibration and temperature.
And I have the measure which measures ems.
Oh.
We got stretched and do you see us as a threat? I instantly felt a female here.
And she does.
She's starting completely.
She's scared to death of men.
Really? Yes.
Don't be afraid of us, sweetie, we're not here to hurt you.
We're actually here to help.
So do you feel anxious here? I feel like my heart's beating out of my chest.
I don't feel that she made it completely up.
If it's okay with ya'll, I'd like to kind of show you what I feel.
Sure, absolutely.
She comes up, and she comes about halfway and then my breathing completely stops, like somebody grabbed my face, to where I couldn't scream, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't do anything.
My heart was beating out of my chest.
Whatever happened to her did not happen here, it happened outside, right outside the door.
That's the reason that nobody could see.
Nobody could help her.
Because nobody could see it.
Right.
Well, it was probably crowded.
I'm sure this was like a crowded area.
The ticket booth was right up here.
Everybody's trying to rush up, get in here to see the movie and, you know, somebody just swiped her maybe.
They come from the back and I do feel it was a male and I feel that she is threatened by other men because of that.
Because of the incident.
But she's saying something about a diner, that she was at the diner beforehand.
Did ya'll just hear that? Yeah, was that a door that moved? Sounded like a pretty loud thud or something.
Was that you? Can you do it again? I do pick up an initial N.
And it's like n-e-l so this could be half of a name, part of a name.
Sometimes they won't give me the full name.
But she's mentioning something about a diner, that she went to a diner and then she came here.
Well, you know, that's crazy because there actually is a diner very closeby.
I mean, obviously businesses change, relocate.
But this is a square.
This is the town square.
It's like at the center of Gallatin.
So definitely back in those days, there would have been a diner nearby.
She didn't make it though, all the way.
She didn't make it? That's really pitiful.

Maybe whoever is lurking around in there remembers us.

Can you tell the audience what it is? We actually got a nice little trigger object tucked in our back pocket that we've actually been wanting so bad to use here at the palace theater.

So hopefully it's correct and it's going to be enough to draw these spirits out from hiding.

Let's head to the basement where Porter and Doogie are trying to make contact with any soul executed during the civil war.
This is a receipt every time you say this is a receipt from the cigar company of Tennessee.
This is where they bought all kinds of this is candy.
And chewing gum.
So all this stuff that they would have served also for the theater is that what you signed off on, Mr.

I'm hoping at this point in my life that this is actually you toughing the back of my head and not a brown recluse.

This is where you would come get your ticket stub and you would move on to the segregated area here up on the balcony so wow.

Earlier today, Angel and I and Brennan were here.
We were doing a little bit of a baseline sweep.
Angel was picking up on cigar smoke.
Is that the same kind of smoke? It's the same thing.
What's cool about that is.
Mr.
Roth who used to run theater here, actually used to smoke cigars.
He was known for that.
Many people have seen Mr.
Roth smoking cigars in this area.
So that's pretty cool.
Right.
Also, you picked up on another entity earlier.
I wouldn't say I don't like him but I feel he's not a good soul if that makes sense.
And he stands in the doorway and I feel that will, I'm going to call the other, the cigar guy, will, is very protective of the others that are here and he's protecting them.
And from this other guy.
Now, the other guy, he has a dark blue suit on and he's missing, he's got a button, a button, a button, and he's missing one of his buttons, and that's what he's looking for.
I did get an initial E.
For him as well.
He has a pointy nose and a long beard.
Coming up, the investigation intensifies with the solo session up in the old segregated balcony where spirits are known to room.

Is there a common thread on social media? It is all about the theater.
Some reporting a shadowy figure.
Says shadow moving by the stage.
A number of people have seen something moving in front of the light completely blocking it out.
We just caught this.
This son loop right now.
We got this mist.
Appears into the on the main stage and then it just creeps back.
Now it's on repeat.
Now just goes away.
Should we tell the guys inside? I think so.

Porter, man, there's some crazy, crazy, crazy activity going on in the main auditorium.
We got shadow figures.
We got this weird mist on the stage.

Because the name of the general that took over the square when the union army took over Gallatin was Payne.

Did he have a beard? Because this guy's got a beard and a skinny nose.
Oh, beard and his hair, like, different colors.
Like light hair and dark beard or vice versa.
There's some spider web stuff walking behind you.
Really? Crash.

I just walked behind you and I felt something on my arm.
Felt like I was walking through spider webs.
What? It said cause, crash.

Me being a father, if someone just a little bit younger than that, that really tears at my heart.
I can't imagine how that would happen.
Ya'll seen these lights? I can't understand how any human being could execute a child.

I get down there, I start a session and I see something drop from the ticket booth over the top.
It was like the craziest thing.
It was like a bag or something.
I mean, the only way I can explain it.
I thought it was like a go up there and look, nothing.
Nothing? What do you got? It just said Doogie.
Sitting here, smoking the cigars.
So we've been getting a ton of hits.
Off of general Arthur Payne.
A lot of the murder, the executions he did out here.
And then we started getting stuff with Mr.
Roth with the cigar.
And when we lit the cigar, flashlight come on.
The meter goes off.
The shadow detection is going crazy.
The cigar was the trigger that fired it all up.
I think we talked to Roth.
We talked to this "E" character.
I think there's a lot of things roaming around here and a lot of things looking for other things.
You were picking up on the two male entities upstairs.
You said one was kind of nasty, the "E" character.
Could possibly have some correlation with this character? Obviously the people at home are seeing stuff.
This is like the best thing ever, guys.

What are you hoping to find? After all the bodies that were executed here many years ago, there's no telling what type of dark entities we could be dealing with inside the theater.
We could be dealing with a potential poltergeist.
These things have been known to levitate things, even throw things.
Some people say poltergeist are aggressive so we need to be careful.
It will be dangerous? Absolutely.
I hear you got a new team member just for today, Angel Leigh? That's right.
Angel has been known to communicate with some of these spirits so basically we're just hoping she can help us kind of unravel some of the mysteries of the palace tonight.

She comes up, and she comes about halfway and then my breathing completely stops, like somebody grabbed my face, to where I couldn't scream, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't do anything.
My heart was beating out of my chest.
Whatever happened to her did not happen here, it happened outside, right outside the door.
That's the reason that nobody could see.
Nobody could help her.
Because nobody could see it.
Right.
Well, it was probably crowded.
I'm sure this was like a crowded area.
The ticket booth was right up here.
Everybody's trying to rush up, get in here to see the movie and, you know, somebody just swiped her maybe.
They come from the back and I do feel it was a male and I feel that she is threatened by other men because of that.
Because of the incident.
But she's saying something about a diner, that she was at the diner beforehand.
Did ya'll just hear that? Yeah, was that a door that moved? Sounded like a pretty loud thud or something.
Was that you? Can you do it again? I do pick up an initial N.
And it's like n-e-l so this could be half of a name, part of a name.
Sometimes they won't give me the full name.
But she's mentioning something about a diner, that she went to a diner and then she came here.
Well, you know, that's crazy because there actually is a diner very closeby.
I mean, obviously businesses change, relocate.
But this is a square.
This is the town square.
It's like at the center of Gallatin.
So definitely back in those days, there would have been a diner nearby.
She didn't make it though, all the way.
She didn't make it? That's really pitiful.

Now, the other guy, he has a dark blue suit on and he's missing, he's got a button, a button, a button, and he's missing one of his buttons, and that's what he's looking for.

So we've been getting a ton of hits.

A lot of the murder, the executions he did out here.
And then we started getting stuff with Mr.
Roth with the cigar.
And when we lit the cigar, flashlight come on.

The shadow detection is going crazy.
The cigar was the trigger that fired it all up.

I think there's a lot of things roaming around here and a lot of things looking for other things.
You were picking up on the two male entities upstairs.

Could possibly have some correlation with this character? Obviously the people at home are seeing stuff.
