fight, fight for what you believe in don't give up your dreams in vain try, retry the future's in your hands unleash the power Hey, laval, why so glum? Ugh, gotta clean the map room.
Whoa, you get to clean the map room? I never knew this place was so awesome.
Probably because of all the dirt.
I haven't swept it in a while.
Oh, sorry, about that.
My dad says a great leader needs to understand The value of hard work, So he's making me do all these lame chores.
Ahem.
It's not lame.
Look at all these amazing places.
I've seen a lot of them while flying around chima.
But wouldn't it be awesome to actually visit a few? Hmm Both: Road trip! Laval? Eris? Hey, hey, guys! Focus on your mission, cragger.
Here, this will help you.
How lucky can we get? Lagravis left this morning.
Now laval and eris are going too.
Wonderful.
The lions will have no idea what we're doing Until it's way too late.
It's so cool that your father let us drive his tank, laval.
You do have permission, don't you? Uh, not exactly.
Laval! But he's out of town.
What's the worst that can happen? Both: Whoa! Sorry about that.
First time I've actually driven this tank.
Really? I never would've guessed.
Ah! Hey! Watch the merchandise, furbag! See? I just needed a little practice.
Uh, and some solid ground.
It's all good.
Whoa! Uh, you were saying? Laval: The falling jungle? I thought we were looking to hit some scenic spots, Not have the scenic spots hit us.
Sorry.
I probably should've told you to turn left back there Instead of right.
But it all looks so different from down here.
Whoa! Now the next left should bring us some place really beautiful.
Eris: Ah, thanks so much, gorzan.
We're so lucky you were passing by.
Hey, always happy to help a dude and dudette in distress.
Dig? Yeah, totally.
I dig.
No, I mean, dig.
The mud.
Oh, yeah.
Of course.
Ha, ha.
Okay, I can't drive, and you have no sense of direction.
But it's still a pretty fun road trip, right? Ha, ha.
Yeah, as long as your dad Doesn't see all that mud on his tank.
Oh, don't worry.
We have lots of time to clean it.
My dad's visiting the rhino tribe, Hoping to sign a treaty with them.
The rhinos and a treaty? Wow.
Good luck with that.
Rough terrain.
We should've brought the tank, sir.
Yes, but I wanted to make sure The rhinos know this is a peaceful visit.
We can't afford any more misunderstandings in chima.
Grow big and strong, my friends.
Worst use of chi ever.
It's not our place to judge how other tribes use their chi.
Let's just find someone here That will discuss a treaty with us.
Wow, this place is awesome! Eris: Yeah, it's called the shadow hills.
They say the rocks here look like shadows Of our great ancestors.
Whoa! Sorry about that.
And over there is the everglow falls And hummingmoss point.
That canyon filled with razor-sharp rocks That we almost crashed into? It's called shredder basin.
Hey, come on, this is a narrow road.
And a big tank.
And the mud made my wheels slippery.
And-- We should probably head back Before we really destroy your dad's tank.
Ah, okay.
Just one more stop.
Hey, hey, you two! Break it up! Whoa! Don't be so rude.
We're trying to fight here.
Look, I'm sure there are other ways to settle your differences.
"differences?" heh-heh-heh.
You make it sound like we're mad at each other.
Ah, that's a good one.
Who fights when they're mad? Yeah, we only fight when we're happy.
Right, runk, old buddy? Ha, ha.
I love you, bro.
What a strange tribe.
Eris: Oh, laval.
It's so beautiful.
My father used to take me up here when I was a kid.
"best sunset in all of chima," he'd say.
I won't argue with him there.
And speaking of your father Don't worry.
His tank's fine.
I know.
Once its parking brake is on, that tank's not going anywhere.
Uh, what parking brake? Uh-oh.
[tank crashes.]
Oh, no! How did this happen? My father's tank! I was so careful! Actually, you almost wrecked it In the shadow hills, shredder basin, the crocodile swamp, Falling jungle, and the grand archway too.
Ugh! My dad's gonna totally flip out! What do we do now? Don't worry, I've got an idea.
Beavers? That's your idea? They can supposedly rebuild anything.
And they love doing it.
Are you sure about this? UhYes? I mean, I've never met the beavers myself, But I've flown over here plenty of times.
Oh, no.
Relax.
Let me talk to them.
Hey, guys.
What's up? I am eris.
From the eagle mountain.
Just up the sky a bit.
Uh, we don't mean any harm.
Not good.
I hate water.
What ever made you think they'd fix our tank? Did you say you have a tank that needs fixing? Beavers: Fix it! Fix it! Fix it! Fix it! Uh, yeah.
It's a lion tank.
Beavers: Oh! A lion tank! Oh, please! Tell us, tell us, tell us! Easy now.
You'll all get your chance to do some repairs.
Thank you so much for helping us.
No, thank you for driving so badly.
Hey, I don't drive bad-- oof! It's a compliment, laval.
Our crash gives them work, and they love to work.
But only our most noble citizens are rewarded with manual labor.
Troublemakers are sent on vacation.
If you two don't behave, I'm giving you both a three day holiday! Wow, that's amazing.
And I was barely able to finish my chores In the map room before.
Oh.
Ch-ch-ch-chores? It's too bad the rest of the tribe isn't here.
They'd love this.
Where is everyone else? You're building a dam up there? Yes.
It's work.
And work is fun.
But that water provides the chi for all of chima.
If you block it-- oh, no.
Did someone ask you to do this? Yeah, a crocodile.
The one up there on that cliff.
Cragger! It gets worse.
Looks like they're also building a canal To divert the chi water Laval: To the crocodile swamp? Are they seriously trying to steal All our chi for themselves? "steal" is such an ugly word.
We prefer to see it as more of a restructuring.
You lions used to control the chi, now we will.
Ugh.
Can this road trip get any worse? What happened to all our chi water? That's the lion's distress roar.
Your dad will be here soon in hisTank.
Ah, yep.
Things just got worse.
Lagravis: As you'll see, A treaty between our tribes Will help us protect chima.
There is strength in numbers.
Adding your troops to the number Of warriors already in our alliance, We arrive at-- [rogon slurping.]
Huh? Rock shish kebab.
Mmm.
[rhinos laugh.]
The distress roar.
The lions will be coming soon.
Oh, they won't be a problem.
I've asked our wolf friends To offer them some of their famous, Heh-heh, roadside assistance.
It's time to give those lions some driving lessons.
How about a nice wolf sandwich? Freshly squeezed lion coming right up.
This wont hurt a bit.
Whoops, I lied.
Dirty wolves.
Worriz: Give it up, lion.
Your tail is toast.
I don't think so.
Nice one, crooler.
You use the wolves, I use the beavers, And once this canal is finished, We'll both use all that chi.
I really messed up this time.
Even if my dad makes it here in time, He'll find out about his busted tank.
And then [beavers chattering.]
Wait a sec.
Did you say you have a lion tank that needs fixing? Wow! I've always wanted To work on one of those lion tanks.
Out of the way, beavers.
We're taking these prisoners to the boss.
Yeah, you probably wouldn't Want to work on this tank anyway.
It needs to be completely rebuilt.
Beavers: Completely rebuilt? Yeah, and it's a real rush job.
All: R-r-rush job? Lion tank repair! Rush job! Rebuilt! All that work! Oh, glorious work! What is going on over there? Laval and eris? Here? Bring them to me now! Not this time.
Huh? Tell us more about this tank job.
We want to fix it! Fix it! Fix it! Fix it! Step aside, beavers.
No.
Stop.
Too many beavers.
Hey, what's going on here? Uh, just trying to clear a path So you can get to work on that Broken tank at your beaver lodge! I can't wait to fix that tank.
I'm going to add new tires and lights.
Me? I'm going to install special doors And wings! Echhh, laval! Do you have to ruin everything I do? No, I don't.
Sometime I let eris ruin stuff too.
No, my water! You're finished.
Did you really think you could Steal all the chi for yourself? I'd share some with my allies.
But that chi belongs to everyone.
Then everyone will need to ally with me, Because once I re-route all this water, We'll be the only chi game in town.
It's not a game.
It's the life-force of all of chima.
Ugh, not more water.
Surprise! Crooler, what are you doing? Something my brother should've done long ago.
Nice try, cragger.
But you'll never control the chi.
It's interesting.
All this precious chi You fight for comes from water.
Yet none of you lions can swim.
I don't have to swim to beat you.
Cragger: You don't see the irony here? The chi water you so desperately want to protect, You're surrounded by it.
And it shall be your doom.
I see a loose piece.
Give me back our dam.
You can have this one too.
Think you're so smart, don't you? Uh, I don't know.
I'm just trying to redirect The three-point construction cantilevers of this Elevated embankment to reduce diversionary hydro-flow.
Huh? Translation: I'm busting Your dam wide open.
Come back here, you mud sucker.
Cragger: I'd say it's a pretty good day To be a mud sucker, wouldn't you? Cragger, take this chi.
I was saving it for something special.
Like destroying laval? Exactly.
Hey! Hey! Eris: Everyone out of there! The whole dam's about to collapse.
We'll have to settle this some other time, cragger.
Never! What are you doing? Your dam's about to crush us all! No, I'm about to crush you.
Look out for the dam! Laval! Aah! Huh? The chi.
My dad's tank.
Relax.
Everything's fine.
The dam's gone, chi's flowing, And your dad's tank is totally fixed.
Huh? His tank? But how? Well, when the entire beaver tribe got to work on it, The repairs were done in no time.
They even drove it back here and parked it for you.
Really? They did all that? And I still haven't even finished Cleaning that map room.
I should've done this long ago Instead of secretly taking my dad's tank On that road trip.
Yeah.
But if we hadn't broken a few rules, We never would've discovered cragger's plot and stopped them.
So I guess it wasn't such a bad ride after all.
Ha, you're right.
And it was kind of fun too.
I know.
Thanks for everything, eris.
The trip, the dam, Even the bad directions.
But especially thanks for getting my dad's tank fixed.
Yeah, about that.
You know how excited the beavers were about those repairs? Well, they might've made a few improvements.
What kind of improvements? Huh? Does my tank have wings? Longtooth: It would appear so.
Laval!
