(GRUNTING)
Aah!

I'm afraid you're wasting your
time, Special Agent Tennant.
I asked HQ if you could
take him for questioning.
They said no, they had to get on a
plane back to the mainland ASAP.
Laird Harriman is responsible
for the death of an
NCSI undercover agent.
- Look, I wish I could help, but
- The body was never found.
Look, if you just let
me talk to Harriman,
I know I can get him
to give me something.
The agent's family deserves
to know what happened.
What was your guy's name?
Craig Anton.
He'd been on the job for only two years.
I met him at JCITA.
He used to call me once a
month to ask advice about
whatever he didn't quite understand yet.
We all need someone like
you when we start out.
(ENGINE STARTING)
The helicopter to O'ahu takes an hour.
- Why don't you ride with us?
- Thank you, Agent Crichton.
All right, I'm going to pick
Tennant up at Barbers Point.
Yeah? She take a helo
joyride up the coast?
No, she went to Maui to
interrogate a suspect.
And according to her text,
she's doing it as they
transport him back to O'ahu.
- Who is it?
- I don't know.
Laird Harriman.
What is: name of the villain
in the new streaming
series you're watching?
No, it's the name of the
person Tennant's interrogating.
- That ring a bell to you?
- Nope.
She thinks he murdered
an undercover NCIS agent from
the Northwest Field Office.
Case is unsolved. I helped
her pull the files together.
- She ever work in that office?
- Not that I know of.
Then what's her connection to the case?
I don't know.
She mentioned a couple of times
that the agent's body was never found.
- Ah.
- "Ah" what?
Tennant's the mariny-est
"never-been-a-marine" I've ever met.
(LAUGHS) True.
You have no idea what
he's talking about.
- None.
- "No man left behind."
Tennant must have a connection
to the agent in Seattle.
He's missing, the body needs
to be found and brought home.
Well, if this prisoner
knows, she'll find out.
No one's better at getting you to
spill secrets than Jane Tennant.
I had planned to take my Lacy
Zimmerman story to the grave.
Bye, guys.
We know you were
meeting with Agent Anton.
He tell you that?
It was in his notes
that he left on his desk.
Look, if you didn't have anything
to do with his disappearance,
then just tell me
what you do know about it.
- Nothing.
- But you met with him.
Where was he headed next?
I didn't say I met with him.
But we both know you did.
Look, agents keep notes for a reason.
To document the facts of their cases.
They're only facts
if you can prove them.
Okay. Look, I understand why
you think you're in the driver's seat.
You've been suspected of a
lot and convicted of nothing.
Maybe because I'm innocent.
Isn't that how the legal system works?
This is different.
You've actually been arrested this time.
How many federal charges
is Mr. Harriman facing, Agent Crichton?
Six, ma'am.
Six. If you're convicted of all of them,
that's 50, 60 years.
If you're only convicted
of one, that's ten years.
So, best case, you're
looking at hard five years.
Or I walk.
I've seen your case file.
You can't afford a lawyer good
enough to get you off clean.
Let me help you make a deal.
In exchange for your cooperation w
Let me
Go in the med bag and empty out
- the saline syringe.
- What's happening?
When we put him in
holding before the transfer,
he said he was diabetic.
I've never seen a
diabetic seize like this.
It's not my job to diagnose him.
Hand me your orange juice.
It's not working.
Let's turn him on his back.
Don't do that! Don't do that!
Prisoner's loose!
What?
- Gun?
- No!
(GRUNTING)
(ALARM BLARING)
Must have gotten my times wrong.
- You mind checking their ETA?
- Mm-hmm.
TENNANT: Crichton!
Buckle up, buckle up!
(INDISTINCT CHATTER)
Okay, Janie, this will
only hurt a medium amount.
Maybe a medium-to-large amount.
Are you sure it won't
hurt just a little?
Well, we won't know until we do it.
You ready?
(EXHALES SHARPLY)
- Medium.
- Medium.
How'd you hurt yourself?
I jumped off the moving van
and I fell.
What were you doing on the moving van?
Looking for Mommy's stuff.
Mommy's not coming stateside with us.
You know that.
Well, how do we know?
She told me.
But she didn't come say goodbye.
How can we be sure?
I'm sure, Janie.
We both know
that your mom has a hard time
finding the right words to
describe what she's feeling.
And I think that
that she doesn't want
to use the wrong ones.
Which is why she asked
me to talk to you.
When do you think she'll
find the right words?
I don't know.
I wouldn't have left her.
I know you wouldn't have.
But not everyone's like you.
Come here.
(FIRE CRACKLING)
(COUGHS)
Agent Crichton.
Agent Crichton, we
got to get out of here.
Go help the copilot.
Sir.
- We have to go.
- (GROANING)
Let's go.
Get him to the trees.
I got you.
All right.
All right, stay here. Be right back.
- You got a cell phone?
- Yeah.
Okay, put pressure.
There's there's no service.
Okay, walk around, see
if you can get some bars.
Tell them that our helicopter crashed,
one U.S. marshal's dead,
Harriman escaped
and that he is definitely armed.
No, he-he dropped that gun.
I saw it under one of the seats.
- Yeah, well, he got another one.
- How do you know?
ERNIE: Till about five minutes ago,
the transponder was
sending out a steady signal
southeast to southwest over Moloka'i
at about 140 miles per hour.
For a minute before
the signal disappeared,
it was basically stationary.
They crashed.
It's a logical conclusion.
Hey. I called Whistler.
She's requisitioned one
of the FBI's helicopters,
so I'm gonna meet her,
we'll head to the site.
Marshals are also dispatching a team.
- Swing by and pick me up.
- KAI: No, we need you
to come back to the
office and be the boss.
While we look for the boss.
If it's a crash, then
there's no reason to
ERNIE: We don't actually
know what happened, Jesse.
Maybe a crash. Maybe a forced landing,
a hijacking, a short stop for lunch.
Yeah, well, it's
definitely not the last one.
But I get your point.
I'll come back to Pearl.
Kai, call me when you have eyes.
Ernie, go to the war room,
set us up a command center
and coordinate with the
joint base emergency manager.
- On it, boss junior.
- And Ernie
Have them dispatch an
extra medical transport.
It was a prisoner transfer.
There's at least five people onboard.
One bus might not be enough.
TENNANT: All right,
well, we're late arriving,
so people are already looking for us.
When they get here,
tell them the pilot
is in and out of consciousness
and that he has a gunshot
wound in his right thigh.
- Where you going?
- After Harriman.
I'm coming with you.
- There's no need for that.
- He's my prisoner.
True, but if I didn't
press him about that murder,
he might have been content
seeing what a good lawyer can get him.
So there's an argument to be had
that I got you into this mess.
Still.
Okay.
When the rescuers get here,
tell them about your friend's condition.
I have to go find him.
I doubt that he will circle
back around to the helicopter,
but if he does, you
know what to do, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
Hey.
Nice job getting us down safely.
Um, pretty sure we crashed.
Yeah, well, sometimes, kindness
is more effective than honesty.
According to the marshals,
the pilots are experienced.
The helicopter itself had no
previous mechanical issues.
KAI: Okay.
Well, we're about 15 minutes
from the site. We'll know more then.
Special Agent Curtis called ahead
to Queen's Medical. The
trauma unit is on alert.
- All right. Thanks, Whistler.
- I'll make sure anyone who
you know, needs to be
transported is sent there.
Okay, I'll wait for your call.
So, equipment in good working order,
fair weather you're not
thinking this was an accident?
Prisoner transfer.
One important enough for
Tennant to be a part of.
I guess I didn't want
to assume anything.
- Is there something I can help you with?
- I heard Tennant was in trouble.
Thought maybe there was
something I could do.
No bodies yet, Commander Chase.
That's not what I meant.
Tennant had me make some calls,
see if that missing agent's
body had been misidentified
by any medical examiners.
I read this case file.
That prisoner is not someone
who will go to jail easily.
Tell me what you know.
What's Harriman's plan, anyway?
Other than not going to prison?
- Don't think he really thought it through.
- Does he really think he'll escape?
He crashed a helicopter.
He's motivated, if nothing else.
Which means he will
be extremely dangerous.
(GASPING)
Thanks, Agent Tennant.
That was really close.
(GUNSHOTS)
(EXCLAIMING)
(GRUNTING)
(SHOUTS, GRUNTS)
(GRUNTS)
(MOANING)
(GROANING)
Okay.
How you doing?
I don't know. I hurt everywhere.
Shh.
(GRUNTS) Aah!
(GROANING)
The copilot says the
prisoner caused the crash
and that Tennant and a marshal
named Sam Crichton headed off after him.
How long ago?
- KAI: 30, 40 minutes.
- JESSE: What direction from the crash?
East.
A combination of trees and open fields.
No houses or roads
for at least six miles.
All right, Kai, you and Whistler
go off on their presumed route.
Just a random walk through choice space?
How did you do on combat
hunter training, Kai?
Number one in my class of 200.
So, not so random.
I'll send a couple of helicopters
- in that specific search area as well.
- (DOOR OPENS)
Hey.
- I heard about Tennant.
- KAI: Not sure why, but
I do feel a lot better
now that Boom-Boom's there.
BOOM-BOOM: Thanks, Holman.
KAI: All right, we'll let you
know when we find anything.
- What can I do?
- Uh, well, other than offer
moral support to Kai, I'm not sure that
- there's much to do here at Pearl.
- ERNIE: I disagree.
Knowing more about
Harriman can only help.
It might give us a sense
of what he's gonna do next
or maybe even help us
find him before he can
Boom-Boom,
I'm giving you access
to my office and computers.
The Harriman files are in a
folder labeled "Harriman Files."
I keep my snacks in the bottom drawer
of the cabinet labeled "Top Secret."
Okay, well, I like to
spread out when I work.
Well, feel free.
And you take up a lot of space.
(CHUCKLES) I won't be there.
I'm going to Tennant's house.
Oh. I think you should focus on
any other crimes
Harriman was involved in,
so we can see any predictive patterns.
Got it.
Ernie.
Why Tennant's house?
Are you thinking about
talking to the kids? It's too soon.
Well, to tell Julie. But
she's on a school trip.
Alex is the only one home.
He's old enough to know what's going on.
And he might even know something
helpful. You know, he's a little nosy.
Dude, really? How can you
eat during a time like this?
Can't think straight if
your blood sugar drops.
There's tuna salad in the fridge.
He's weird, but he's right.
(DOOR CLOSES)
All right, so I have this
extra gauze in my pocket
from taking care of the pilot.
But don't give me any extra points.
I do not have "another
gunshot" on my bingo card.
(WEAK CHUCKLE)
(GROANS)
Should we move further away
from that hole to the surface?
By my count,
he's fired six rounds.
So is your Glock a 22 or a 27?
- 27.
- He's got four left.
He's gonna need to save those
for the people chasing him.
We're gonna put this in here.
I need you to put pressure here.
Aah
All right, where else you hurt?
I'm fine.
You are not fine.
I fell from that same
distance and I hurt like hell.
You need to get yourself out of here.
I need to get us both out of here.
Those glasses make you
look like the old lady
in the ad for the fizzy tablets.
Your grandmother give them to you?
Okay, that does not help.
Now we can actually see your face.
- Shut up, Howie.
- You shut up, Jane.
You're only picking on Dottie
because of your own insecurities.
- I'm telling you to back off.
- Or what? You're gonna hit me?
I can't hit you. You're a girl.
That's not why you won't
hit me. You're afraid.
I'm not getting in trouble for fighting
with someone as stupid as you.
TENNANT: Okay. I understand.
- (CHANTING): Fight! Fight! Fight!
- Leave her alone.
- Fight! Fight! Fight!
- What's going on?
What's going on?
- She started it.
- Well, he was picking on Dottie.
Tell the principal when we
get to school, see if he cares.
Well, somebody had to do something.
Not on my bus.
I'm getting a strong David
Copperfield vibe over here.
Traveling by helicopter,
you have to be resourceful.
Never know when the weather's
gonna force you down.
Weather. Crazy prisoner.
Effects seem the same.
Should we be shouting or something?
They have to know that
we're down at this point.
Definitely.
But there's no telling
where they're searching
and I don't want you
wasting energy shouting.
So what do we do?
I get you taken care of.
I figure out how to go for help.
I saw you fall.
Climbing up that wall
is gonna be impossible.
Maybe.
But somebody's got to do something.
And between the two of us,
today I'm thinking that's got to be me.
There's multiple tracks
running through here.
Then someone walks that way.
Someone?
Ah, it's
it's hard to tell how
many, exactly, uh
Recent rain has obscured the prints.
Well, we haven't found any bodies.
No, so so we assume Tennant
and the marshal are following, right?
And
(FRUSTRATED GROAN)
It is possible one or the
other of them peeled off earlier
and I just missed it.
Wait, there's a campsite
not too far away.
Maybe he crashed the
helicopter close to it because
he's meeting someone.
I mean, even if not,
it's a good place to steal food
and gear so he could stay hidden.
Crashing a helicopter is a
strange way to get to a rendezvous.
Maybe the crash
was an unintended consequence.
Of trying to force the
helicopter to the ground.
Maybe.
Place of thieves.
(CHUCKLES)
Place of thieves.
I feel like we're playing a
weird game I don't understand.
Moloka'i was a hideout for
criminals for hundreds of years.
It's it's an easy place to get lost.
Which way is the campsite?
- It's that way.
- That way.
Yeah.
Alex.
- Alex!
- Hey, what's wrong?
Okay, um
There's a situation.
Let me just start off by saying
I don't really know anything.
The bottom line is your
mom was on a helicopter
coming back from Maui
when it crashed.
H-How could you not
know anything? You just
you just go to
the helicopter and help her.
We obviously have people
there, but she wasn't there.
She walked away on her own power
and now we're looking for her.
- Should we go help?
- I think we'll be more help here.
Why are you here?
Well, I think you're old enough to know.
But I also think you're young enough
to maybe have someone sit with you
while we find answers.
Just in case?
Oh, I'm not just-in-casing.
Just here if you need me.
Okay?
Can I at least make you a sandwich?
Oh, thanks, I'm good.
No, it's fine. I need to do something,
not just look at you and worry.
Okay.
A sandwich would be great.
Is this the way you
thought the job would be
when you moved to the FBI?
I guess.
I've seen cop shows.
It's not quite the same, though, right?
No.
It hurts your body a lot
more when you get punched.
Hurts your heart a lot more
when people you care about get punched.
I would tell you you
get used to it, but
- You're bad at lying.
- No, I'm a good liar.
Just not to people I actually like.
- Kai.
- Yeah?
Three o'clock. I think that guy's
pulling that woman away.
KAI: They're certainly moving at a pace.
- WHISTLER: Is that Harriman?
- Height and hair match, but
tall and balding don't
exactly make for a positive ID.
- WHISTLER: That's definitely not Tennant.
- But if that is Harriman,
- looks like he's got a hostage.
- Hey.
Why don't you get as close
behind them as you can
without making him nervous.
What are you gonna do?
Go around then come
back in front of him.
- Hey, I
- Thin blonde girl
is way less threatening
than handsome big guy.
- Fair enough.
- Okay. See you.
Okay.
Hey! Lovely day, isn't it?
Um, do you know how far the
(GRUNTING)
Hey!
Kate.
Kate.
- DISPATCHER: Units en route.
- Copy.
Head back to the campsite.
Agents are coming this way to help you.
(GROANS) Where's Harriman?
He went that way, into cover.
But, hey, thanks to
you, his hostage is safe.
- Why did he grab her?
- They were headed to her car at the trailhead.
- So he wasn't meeting anyone.
- No.
He still needs to find
a way out of the woods.
Yeah. Hey, I've called for backup.
Medical team is on its
way to help you, okay?
No, I-I'm coming with you.
No. You just you got
punched you in the face.
You need to stay here and
let them take a look at you.
Kai, I'm fine.
- How can you be sure?
- Well, I played field hockey.
So I know what a concussion feels like.
- Hey. Stop. Whistler
- Hey, we're wasting time.
Tennant wasn't with him, so
She's either still out
there searching for him or
or he left her someplace
and we need to know where.
Yeah.
So are you planning to tie me to a tree?
No.
All right, then let's go.
Here you go.
Thanks.
You should give me an update.
Well, there's not much to report.
Well, you haven't
told me anything except
my mom was involved in a helicopter
crash and now she's MIA, so
anything would be something.
Well, the facts of why
she's on the helicopter,
how it crashed and what she's
doing now don't really matter.
What matters is that she's incredible.
And all the people looking
for her are smart and dedicated
and doing everything they can
to find her and bring her home.
But she could die.
- There's-there's no way for me to
- Look,
this isn't the first time
my mom's been somewhere
doing something no one
wants to talk about.
She comes home with bruises
or a limp.
She doesn't say what happened.
So I don't ask.
I'm just grateful she
came home and I got to
hug her goodnight.
I'm ignoring my instinct to
give you some pat comfort like,
- "Your mom's strong" or
- "She's too stubborn to die"?
"Magic eight ball says, 'Not yet.'"
But the truth is
being a hero is a dangerous job.
And I don't know what's gonna happen.
(SIGHS)
You want another sandwich?
(CHUCKLING): No.
How about some fruit?
That'd be great.
Cool.
(REFRIGERATOR DOOR OPENS)
(GROANING)
All right.
It's probably fractured,
but it's not a compound break.
So there's no harm in stabilizing it.
They'll never know to
look for us down here.
Which is why we can't wait
for them to fall in to find us.
Hey. You had some aspirin
in your pocket. So, here.
I-I've never been able to
take pills without water.
Just put them in your mouth,
tilt your chin to your
throat and swallow.
What's your wife's name?
Cassie.
Cassie.
You and Cassie have kids?
Yeah, a boy.
Meyer. He's 18 months old.
He's a real handful.
Well, I bet Meyer
will be happy to help you recuperate.
You got kids?
I do.
(GROANING)
I have two.
A boy and a girl.
But my son
He's about to leave for college.
So he's not as cute
as your 18-month-old.
You ever been shot?
No.
(GRUNTS) Well
it's gonna feel (GASPS)
worse before we get you feeling better.
Seems like the same is true for you.
Nah.
Just
Just something.
A little ribby.
Like you broke one.
Doctor should tell us later.
Whatever happens,
thanks for trying to help me,
Special Agent Tennant.
It's Jane.
But we're both going
home to our families.
So don't you worry about that.
(GRUNT, SHARP INHALE)
Hey, there's an opening over here.
I'm gonna check it out, okay?
JESSE: We think he's headed
to the parking area north
of the Townsend campground.
- Hold on.
- I'm familiar with that trailhead.
The road in and out is two lanes,
dirt into the highway.
Make sure we have barricades
set up before the highway
and agents stationed off the road
in case he decides to abandon
a car and head back into cover.
You're doing a great job.
Tennant would be proud.
Does being in charge mean that
you just spend all your time
worrying that you
forgot to do something?
Only when you give a damn.
Hey, when you were overseas, were
you in charge of the field hospital?
Oh, they insisted once I
got promoted to commander.
I was uniquely unsuited for it.
- Why?
- I have difficulty compartmentalizing.
Whereas you are doing an amazing job
holding a space of concern for Tennant
and the space
for the job that needs to be done.
- I can only do one or the other.
- I'm not sure that's a bad thing.
Well, it would be today.
Which is why you are the
right man for this job.
All right, I'm gonna get some coffee.
You want some?
- (PHONE VIBRATES)
- Ooh, uh, tea, if you're up to boiling water.
Oh, that's my specialty.
- Hello, Ernie.
- Hey.
Ooh, thanks, Alex.
Do you have limes on your tree?
Some chili lime dressing
would be great on this fruit salad.
You're just trying to get rid of me.
Yes, but I also really
like chili lime dressing.
So, the last case that
Agent Anton worked,
he goes to meet a contact to buy some
hijacked Navy equipment.
CHASE: Yeah. Investigators were
sure the contact worked for Harriman,
but they never got to ask
him because he disappeared.
- Well, the equipment's gone, too.
- Stolen. Yeah.
No. I mean gone-gone.
Not in the world anywhere.
There were high-end
servers on that truck.
I looked for them on the
web, and they do not exist.
- Meaning?
- BOOM-BOOM: Meaning if he stole them
Oh! Wow. You move quietly.
Always. If he stole them
he wanted to sell them.
Their digital footprint
should be out there.
But it's not.
But did they investigate the
disappearance of the contact?
They tried, since they
thought he was the killer.
They assumed he fled
to avoid federal prison.
- What if he didn't?
- Coconspirator gone. Stolen goods gone.
Harriman got rid of anything
that would tie him to the crime.
So we have a missing guy
and a missing truck.
One of these has to be able to help
us figure out what really happened.
(GRUNTING)
What was I supposed to do?
He was saying the worst things to her.
Tell the bus driver.
All he cares about is us
drinking sugary liquids
and spilling them on the seats.
And apparently kids
who punch other kids.
Look, Janie, I understand.
I joined the military to
be on the side of right.
But there are good fights and there
are ones that just aren't worth it.
This one was worth it.
What if you'd told the kid to stop
and then sat next to Dottie?
He'd pick on her every
time I'm not around.
Yes, probably.
And because you punched
him, you're suspended.
So who's gonna help her tomorrow?
So
next time,
what could you do?
Tell him to stick his lunch box
up his nose then sit next to Dottie.
I see no flaw in that plan.
Helping Dottie only if it
doesn't get me in trouble
doesn't seem very heroic.
Maybe not, but sometimes
you have to think about yourself, Jane.
That's what mom did.
Just thought about herself.
Hey.
- Does it hurt?
- Medium to low.
Does it look awful?
You could never look awful.
(POUNDING)
- (GRUNTING)
- (HELICOPTER BLADES WHIRRING)
OFFICER: Nothing here.
Let's circle back.
Copy.
Thank God.
- I don't see him.
- Did he take the keys from his hostage?
No, she still has them,
so he still needs a car.
- Let's draw him out.
- Wait.
- Did he see you on the trail back there?
- I don't think so.
Just in case.
Be careful, okay?
Says the woman who just
got knocked unconscious.
Okay, well, feel free to get knocked
unconscious. Just nothing worse.
Okay.
Keys.
Give me the keys.
Federal agents. Give me the gun.
Hands.
Now can we get your head looked at?
CRICHTON: Meyer's gonna make
you a kick-ass thank-you card.
I'll be sure to put it on my fridge.
I totally understand why Agent
Anton called you all the time.
Well, he helped me as
much as I helped him.
So did you.
You know
if it wasn't for your magic vest,
you would have been stuck in
that tube for a very long time.
Thank you.
I have her here for you.
- Hello?
- ERNIE: Ah, so glad you're okay.
- Is she okay?
- Is that Alex?
- Yeah, we've been having lunch.
- (TENNANT CHUCKLES)
Are you really okay?
I'm okay enough, baby.
- Are you on the way home?
- Soon.
But I think Ernie needs to talk to me.
- You need to talk to her?
- I do.
Oh, okay. Bye, Mom.
I love you.
I love you.
Hey. So Boom-Boom, Chase and I
think we figured out the Seattle case.

All right, thanks.
I need you to take me to Harriman.
KAI: I would hug you,
but it looks like you hurt all over.
- Kind of do.
- Yeah, okay.
It's good to have you back, boss.
Has he said anything?
Nothing helpful.
HARRIMAN: Special
Agent Tennant. You look
like no amount of detergent
will get the stains out of that shirt.
Before you go face all those
charges on hijacking and grand theft,
I just wanted you to know
we figured out what happened in Seattle.
I'm ready to go.
Turns out the guy you
sent to meet Agent Anton
had satellite radio.
We were able to track his car.
The night Anton disappeared,
that same car ended up in a lake
12 miles outside of Seattle.
Dude must have been a terrible driver.
Dive teams are on their way.
I'm guessing your
co-conspirator's body is in that car.
Agent Anton's, too.
Doesn't have anything to do with me.
You have managed to stay off the radar.
Never had a cell phone tied to you.
But it turns out one burner phone
pinged off the tower where Anton's
was pinging the night he disappeared.
That doesn't seem helpful to you.
Yeah.
That burner phone went
dark the same night.
But we looked for every
burner phone that went live
that evening in the
Seattle area. And one
pinged near the lake.
Now, when we get footage
of that burner's purchase,
I know it'll be you buying it.
And that puts you at the scene.
Back in the helicopter
you offered me a deal.
I'm sure you're smart enough to
know that that's not gonna happen.
I'll tell you where
the hijacked stuff is.
Oh, we'll find it without your help.
And since you killed a marshal
on your transport detail,
I am sure that his family
will be happy to know
that I will go wherever I have to go
to testify against you.
(CHUCKLES)
Did I miss an office party?
We just wanted to make
sure you were okay.
Now that we've seen you, though,
I'm not sure the answer is yes.
Ah, Tennant laughs in the
face of small cuts and scrapes.
And what looks like a pretty
big bruise from direct gunfire.
Right in the vest, .40 cal.
That and falling in a lava tube
That's a lot for one day.
Do you need something
to eat or a ride home?
No, I'm okay.
I-I promise, I'm fine.
The dive team called from Seattle
while you were on the drive back and
they found two bodies
in the car in the lake.
It's a good chance one
of them was Anton's.
Good.
His family can finally get some closure.
And you too, boss.
Yeah. And me too.
Thank you.
No, we're just doing our jobs, boss.
It's a nice sentiment.
But that's not what this was.
And all of you know it.
Everybody should go home now.
Alex, calm down. She's almost home.
- How do you know that?
- I can't say.
Meaning she's not almost home
and you're just pacifying
me with vague banalities.
No, meaning she's almost home.
It's just that the way I know that is
technically illegal.
Mom.
Hey.
Hey.
That's not what you were
wearing when you left.
Oh.
It's not?
Ah
