Looks like you need a wash.
- Thank you, Hiro.
- (TOOTING) NARRATOR: One morning, Diesel was shunting some Troublesome Trucks in the yard.
ALL: Hee-hee! Ouch! Now get in line, you silly trucks! And stay still! (TOOTING) NARRATOR: Edward had delivered trucks of milk, butter and cheese for Hiro to collect.
Right, now it's your turn.
Stop biffing the trucks, Diesel! You're spilling the milk! It's the only way to get these Troublesome Trucks to do what you want, Edward.
- ALL: Ow! Ow! - So mind your own business.
Oh.
(TOOTING) (TOOTING) NARRATOR: A little later, Hiro arrived.
Good morning, Diesel.
Good morning, trucks.
ALL: Hee-hee-haha! Oh, Hiro.
Don't be such a "Mr Nice Engine".
These trucks are nothing but troublesome and you need to show them who's boss.
TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Ow! No, Diesel, these trucks are no trouble.
I am Master of the Railway.
NARRATOR: Hiro collected the trucks and puffed away.
- (BLOWING WHISTLE) - (TOOTING) But he didn't know that Diesel had already spilled the milk.
It wasn't long before the trucks started to become troublesome.
ALL: Hee-hee! Biff and bash! Biff and bash! Ho-ho, you can try and be troublesome, little trucks, but I am Master of the Railway.
NARRATOR: The Troublesome Trucks made Hiro bump and judder, but he just kept puffing all the way to Knapford Station, where the Fat Controller was waiting for him.
At last, the supplies for the cafeteria.
NARRATOR: The men worked to unload bread and butter and cheese.
Let's not forget the milk.
But when the Fat Controller opened the door to the milk truck the milk poured out.
Oh, no! My trousers! Oh, sir.
I'm so sorry, sir.
I I don't know what happened.
But the Troublesome Trucks have been very troublesome today.
I hope you will be more careful on your next job, Hiro.
Yes, sir.
I will, sir.
FAT CONTROLLER: And it looks like my next job will be to get my trousers cleaned.
NARRATOR: Hiro felt very bad about what had happened to the Fat Controller's trousers.
Later, as Hiro was picking up more cream and butter at Brendam Docks, he saw Diesel again.
- What's the matter, Hiro? - Oh, Diesel.
When I was delivering Troublesome Trucks this morning, the Fat Controller opened the truck door and milk spilled out all over his trousers.
I feel so ashamed.
Ha-ha-ha! See? I told you trucks were trouble.
You should have shown them who's boss and given them a biff.
No, Diesel, biffing the trucks is never the right way.
It is always best to be polite and kind.
(TOOTING) NARRATOR: Hiro was coupled up to the Troublesome Trucks, but Diesel was cross.
He thought Hiro should listen to him.
One day he'll learn.
NARRATOR: Then Diesel had a very naughty idea.
Instead of a adding a break van to Hiro's train, he was coupled up to the end of the line of Troublesome Trucks.
(TOOTING) Hiro puffed away pulling the Troublesome Trucks and Diesel with him.
Hiro's trucks were biffing and bashing as he went.
ALL: Hee-hee! Biff and bash! Biff and bash! NARRATOR: Hiro was still polite and gentle.
But he hadn't noticed that Diesel had been coupled to his train.
I'll show Hiro what Troublesome Trucks can do.
NARRATOR: The next time Hiro puffed up the hill, Diesel put on his breaks to help the trucks go slowly.
- (WHEELS SCREECHING) - TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Hee-hee-ha! TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Hold back! Hold back! NARRATOR: Hiro is a very strong engine, - but Diesel is strong too.
- (WHEELS SCREECHING) And Hiro had to puff very hard to get to the top of the hill.
When they came down the other side, Diesel helped the trucks to go as fast as they could.
TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Hee-hee-ha-ha! Faster! Faster! Faster! The Troublesome Trucks were having fun.
TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Hee-hee-ha-ha! Wow! What's going on? NARRATOR: Hiro had never known these trucks to be so troublesome, although he still didn't say anything.
Be polite and kind.
Remember, you are Master of the Railway.
NARRATOR: This made Diesel even more cross.
- TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Ha-ha-ha! - Stop that! ALL: Hee-hee! Biff and bash! Biff and bash! Right, that's it.
No more "Mr Nice Engine".
I am Master of the Railway.
- (WHELLS SCREECHING) - TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Ow! Ow! That will show you.
NARRATOR: Hiro stopped so suddenly that three big barrels of cream flew into the air.
FAT CONTROLLER: Not again! NARRATOR: And splattered all over the Fat Controller and Edward and Hiro.
- My trousers! - Oh, no.
NARRATOR: The Fat Controller was covered in cream.
He was very cross indeed.
Hiro, you have caused confusion and delay, and terrible trouble to my trousers.
I'm so, so sorry, sir.
NARRATOR: Diesel tried to sneak away (TOOTING) But Thomas pulled up behind him.
Diesel, where are you going? Hiro, why was Diesel pushing you and your Troublesome Trucks? Diesel? Was it you? Were you the one biffing and bashing me? And he spilled your milk this morning, Hiro.
- Diesel? - Um, sorry.
I am very disappointed in you, Diesel.
You must learn the proper way to look after Troublesome Trucks.
But, sir Yes, sir.
And the best engine to learn from is Hiro.
Yes, sir.
NARRATOR: Hiro was very proud.
Hiro worked with Diesel to help him learn how to deal with Troublesome Trucks.
ALL: Hee-hee-ha-ha! - I'll show you! - No, Diesel.
You must be polite and kind.
Then one day you might also be a Master of the Railway.
Ha-ha-ha! Nice trucks.
Good trucks.
ALL: Hee-hee-ha-ha! (HIRO CHUCKLES)
