Wolf Watch (2014) s01e12 Episode Script

The Divine Move

Welcome to the season finale of Wolf Watch.
I'm your host Jill Wagner.
And after twelve episodes filled with action, love, heartbreak, and laughs, we have reached the end, people.
We've reached the end of the season.
So tonight, we've assembled a hunk-filled panel to discuss it all.
Please welcome Tyler Posey Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Hoechlin.
Hello, baby! Plus the creative genius behind Teen Wolf, Jeff Davis! Oh, yeah! Okay.
All right, let's jump right into it.
So it was a divine move that turned the tables on the nogitsune.
Explain to everyone what a divine move is.
In the game of go, a divine move is that incredible move of strategy, of genius, and for Stiles in this scene, his divine move is what saves his life and saves the lives of his friends.
Have you guys ever had a divine move in your own lives? Nah.
- My moves are not - Not smooth.
- Not divine? - No.
- They're not.
- All right, everybody.
So this is the first episode since Allison's death.
How was it on set? What was it like filming without her? We shoot the episodes out of sequence, kind of, you know, every now and then, especially towards the end of it, you know, so she was there, but it's gonna be weird coming back next season without her and, um It was strange writing it, actually.
And what's great about her death in the show, actually, is that she figures it out.
She actually figures out the silver, which helps saves her friends and the people she loves.
But she can't tell me.
She dies right before she tells me.
- Of course not.
- I know.
- Of course not.
- There's that Teen Wolf aspect.
That would be way too easy, Jeff.
Exactly.
Well, speaking of change, Danny makes a change.
He says he cannot date a werewolf.
Tylers, why can't you guys have healthy relationships? What's going on? Well, 'cause usually, whoever we're dating at some point kills someone, and that always, I feel like, puts some kind of damper on the relationship in some way.
Yeah, I don't know.
Healthy relationships.
I think Scott's had pretty healthy relationships.
The Allison broke it off with him.
You've had much better luck than me for sure.
Yeah, you have the worst luck in the world.
He he and Kira, uh, are on their way to becoming, like, a really steady, really funny, cute relationship.
So I think, um I think Scott I think Scott's the man.
- Scott is the man.
- I think Scott's just the man.
He is.
He's just He's just a better person than Derek all around.
I'm back! Was that a surprise for anybody else other than myself? Question.
I have a question.
You can ask the question.
Are you gonna lick more abs this season because since you're back? - I hope so.
- Do you remember that? Hell yeah.
Do you know how many people showed up on the day that we were supposed to shoot that scene? - I know they did.
- Yeah, we were watching.
I was like, "why are all of you here?" We literally came to watch.
We lived together season one.
They were like, "dude, did you read the script?" I hate you so much.
Dude, did you read the script? Bro, Jill's gonna lick your abs, bro.
That is so something I could hear you guys say.
We literally came to set just to check it out.
Okay, so we'll get back to this episode.
Tyler, so what does this mean? Kate is back.
What does it mean for Derek? I I can't imagine that he would still have feelings for Kate, I mean, unless you were to really, like, redeem yourself in some way.
She's lookin' pretty good, though, at the end of the episode.
I see Kate as, like, a very formidable opponent.
Oh, yes.
I feel like Derek and Kate kind of enjoy Oh, totally.
The chess game a little bit between each other.
I don't know.
Maybe that's just my opinion.
Some people love to fight.
- Some people love to fight.
- You know what? It's one of those relationships where it's just, like, you know, we argue forever and then you make up and then you argue again.
And then I lick your abs, and everything's sweeped under the rug.
Exactly.
All right, for the past 12 weeks, we've been keeping track of four different things Deaths, fights, hookups, and characters taking off their shirts.
They're our Wolf Stats, and now we can add what happened tonight to get our totals for the entire season.
Okay, we saw a whopping five fights: One at the hospital, one at the police station, one at the animal clinic, one with Kira and Scott fighting the oni, and one with Derek, Ethan, and Aidan fighting the oni.
There were countless deaths, but the three main deaths were the deputy at the front desk, void-Stiles, and Aidan.
Now, with all the action, there was no time for hookups, but we did get a nice shot of Ethan shirtless.
Thank you! - And last but not least - You're welcome.
our final bonus stat: The number of times Malia accidentally almost claws Stiles' face off is one.
But if those two keep getting frisky, I'm sure that number will climb next season.
All right, here are the grand totals for the season.
Pretty impressive.
Now we have to take our first break, but when we get back, we'll chat about the highs and lows of the past season, and we'll introduce you to the winner of our Alpha of the Week contest, so stick around.
Whoo! Welcome back to Wolf Watch.
I'm Jill Wagner, surrounded by a beautiful motley crew.
Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, and Jeff Davis.
Whoo! Now, uh, I want to go back and talk to you guys about the biggest moments of this season and how it will affect the show going forward, okay? Cool.
So, Dylan, I want to start with you.
First of all, physically, what do you do to get into the character of bad Stiles? First of all, the special effects makeup guys, like, did awesome makeup on me.
What all did they do? - We call him void-Stiles.
- Yeah, void-Stiles.
It was just you know, it's just, like, some paling and some shading under the eyes.
It just makes him, you know, have a darker look.
Yeah, yeah, and a little gaunt.
Yeah, they would chap my lips, which is crazy, and it actually took me, like, a month to right.
- It looks amazing.
- Yeah, no, it's great.
And that went a long way in providing me with, like, a lot of inspiration, too, with what I would do, and, you know 'cause it's basically it was basically, like, Jeff's scripts and, uh, you know, what he would write for me and the makeup and just how I would interpret it all, I guess.
What's amazing, too, is that, what you brought to it was, um Stiles is very frenetic, hyperactive, and he's always moving.
- Void-Stiles is very still.
- Yeah.
Yeah, I feel like that's more of a confident thing, you know, and I knew that this character had to be just, like, the epitome of confident, so I just feel like he's you know, he's just he never has to do too much, kind of a thing, to be, you know, the one in charge, I guess.
Right.
Another thing in this episode, people were coming together making allies, people that you wouldn't think, and actually this whole season, it was kind of a theme.
But are these allies something that are going to last? I mean Well, some survive, and some don't.
Um, but I think what you're gonna see in the next season is a much stronger relationship between, uh, Derek and Scott and Stiles as they deal with new threats.
I mean These three are really good together, so we're gonna we're gonna see where it takes them.
I have to ask, do you ever feel like you're papa bear to these kids sometimes? I mean, do you ever look over there and you're just like, "oh, my God", I've created three monsters"? 'Cause you essentially created these.
You were talking about a divine move before, and, uh, I would say my best divine move was, uh, saying yes to a meeting at MTV about Teen Wolf, which I was That is so cool.
I was like, "what am I thinking?" Yes! Thank you! I'm sorry.
We have to cheers to that.
- Cheers.
- Cheers, cheers, cheers.
- Oh, sorry.
- Thank you for doing that.
Thank you for taking that meeting.
That's the coolest thing in the world.
I love these guys.
I can tell.
- Like, I totally can tell.
- We're really good friends.
- Like, hugely genuine - Yeah, it's just genuine.
Great, great friends.
Even Jeff, you know, we're all a huge family.
And I don't know why you're sitting so far away, though.
These days, I like to keep my distance from the actors.
I feel for you.
- Um, okay - From the talent.
So everybody wants to know where Kira and Scott's relationship is gonna go in season four.
- Can you - It's growing, yes.
Uh, there's a lot more romance to be had in season four.
Um, their relationship is not solidified at the beginning of season four.
It has to stumble a little at first.
But we're gonna definitely have a lot of fun with it.
What, uh, is going to be an interesting relationship, actually, is Stiles and Malia.
Yeah.
- And then I can also tease, uh - Stiles and Malia.
I can also tease some new and exciting romance for Derek as well.
Yeah! You're finally gonna get some! Is it you? And this time it's not with a sociopath.
Hopefully one that will last more than, like, two episodes.
- That's really sweet.
- So it can't be me.
Who's gonna it be? Melissa? That'd be nuts.
It's not you.
All right, well, I could keep talking, we Al know that, but we have to take another break.
When we return, we've got a battle of wits that you won't want to miss.
We'll be right back, people.
Don't go anywhere, please.
We're back with Wolf Watch.
I'm Jill Wagner, with Jeff Davis, Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, and Tyler Hoechlin.
And to beat the nogitsune, the gang had to use their brains as much as their brawn, and now we're gonna put those brains to the test.
Jeff is the mastermind behind Teen Wolf, so he will be the one to ask the trivia questions about the show, and since I'm back on, I'm gonna join the competition between Posey, Dylan, and Hoechlin.
Okay, and don't worry, guys.
I have not seen the questions in advance.
I promise.
I promise.
- I don't believe you.
- That's such bull[Bleep.]
.
All right, the first person to buzz in and correctly answer each question gets a point.
And don't worry.
There is no penalty for wrong answers here.
Whoever ends up with the most points will be declared the winner.
- Are you ready - Yeah.
To play Know Your Show? - Whoo! - Let's do it.
All right, guys, what instrument did Derek's high school love Paige play? - No! No! Come on! - What? What? - You knew before - Cello.
You got it.
- I was waiting for you - You were so fast on that.
- That's not fair.
- That's ridiculous.
What number is on the front of Scott's dirt bike? Hoechlin.
32, 'cause it was my baseball number.
- You got it.
- Oh! Wow! Whoo! I didn't know that.
Uh, how much money did Kincaid offer Isaac for the antique French flintlock turnover pistol? Posey.
- Three million? - No, no! - Jill.
- $150,000.
- No! - You got it.
- I remember that.
- Good catch.
Who was the first character to receive the kanji mark from the oni? Hoechlin.
- Isaac.
- Yes.
That's bull[Bleep.]
.
I was there.
This one is for you history buffs.
In what year did noshiko shatter the katana while fighting the nogitsune? What? - 1943.
- Wow.
- What? - Jeez! While in the elevator, what subject did Allison tell sheriff Stilinski she is failing? Jill.
Uh Ah! Cheater! - Econ! - You got it.
Oh! Whoo! - I remember that one.
- Let's go courtesy point.
Let's do a little half point.
- Yeah.
- Ding! Yay, thank you.
Hey, Dylan, you know you'll get this one.
Oh, don't do that.
Don't set it up.
- All right, pay attention.
- Yes.
- What color is Stiles' car? - Blue.
- You got it.
- Oh, yes! Was that just a throwaway? Was that even on there? In what city did Allison live in just before moving to Beacon Hills? Posey.
San Francisco.
Yes.
Correct.
- Yeah! - That's it.
Who is our winner? Posey, you are the winner.
Posey is definitely the winner.
The Teen Wolf himself! - And rightly so.
- Whoo! Yeah! That goes to the winner.
Look what you got.
You get another one! - Loser.
- I wanted one of these forever.
- Dude, I'm so glad you won.
- Thanks, bro! You know you're the man.
Both.
I want loser.
- We get loser mugs.
- This is great.
This worked out well.
I'm actually totally proud of my loser mug.
- Thank you, Jeff.
- Good job, Jeff.
Okay, let's change gears.
Now, Posey, you've been a very busy man over the past few months.
During your downtime on set, you were our Wolf Watch correspondent, and thank you so much for doing that.
- Yes, of course.
- He's the best.
Talking to the cast and crew and giving us your opinion on different topics.
You did so well that we've put together a little highlight reel.
Maybe that's not quite what it is - How cute! - But let's check it out anyway.
12 ways to better enjoy watching Teen Wolf.
Kettle corn.
Number two Holy [Bleep.]
, I was supposed to do 12 of these things? - Hey, bro.
- What's up, bitch? - Was that your water? - I hate void-Stiles so much.
Damn it! It smells like a fart over here.
No, actually, no.
I think I can hear people falling in love with you.
Nope, that's wrong.
I farted.
Ooh, excuse me.
- Kira Yukimura.
- Kira Yukimura.
Kira "Yukimira," Kira "Yukimcribb".
That it sounded like you said "Mcribb.
" I did.
Number ten: Instead of horsehair, Allison ah, [Bleep.]
.
I don't know what the [Bleep.]
to say! Let me do that [Bleep.]
again.
[Bleep.]
me! I got nothing! That's not right.
Welcome to my face.
And I pick his nose.
What? I'm gonna ask them a question that I am qu curious about.
- Queerious.
- Queerious.
I licked the microphone.
Did he? Sorry.
You have to talk into that.
I'm sorry.
Who? I know what to do! Tough crowd.
Posey, thank you so much.
And it's time for one last break, but when we get back, we will talk to the final Alpha of the Week, who's actually the Alpha of the season, people.
It's big-time.
Plus, we'll look back at the best moments of season three, presented by at&t.
Don't go away.
Whoo! Welcome back to Wolf Watch.
Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, and Jeff Davis have been holding things down with me, and they know just how dedicated the Teen Wolf fans are.
And throughout the season, we've been honoring some of those fans as our Alphas of the Week, and today, it's a little different.
We held a contest to find the most rabid Teen Wolf fan and flew the winner to L.
A.
to actually get a backstage pass to an amazing Teen Wolf convention.
And the winner turned out to be Devon from Evansville, Indiana.
How big a fan is he? Well, he's actually been working on an 8-bit video game based on the show.
- Are you kidding me? - Let's take a look at that.
Oh, my, God, it's your room! Dude.
This is crazy! That's so cool.
- Yeah! - I would play that.
I would play that.
That's that's pretty impressive.
Okay, we've got Devon on video chat.
- Devon, how's it going? - Yeah, buddy! - Hey, Devon! - What's up, man? You're on the finale, Devon.
Oh! Exciting.
We're excited to have you.
Thank you for being on the show.
All right, well, let's talk about this video game that you made.
I mean, that's incredible.
Yeah, I mean, I had experience with doing, like, gaming and stuff like that before and art design, and I just decided to put it all together, and it became this.
All right, so, Devon, is there anything you'd like to ask any of them or all of them? Yeah, uh, for Dylan, in particular, I wanted to ask, how do you feel about Stiles' body being, you know, like, taken over by void-Stiles? It's really cool.
I came to really like void-Stiles.
It's fun to be the bad guy.
It's yeah, it's very fun to be the bad guy, always, especially when you're you know, you're the good guy on the show, you know? I'm so grateful to have done it, man.
It's it was awesome.
All right, Devon, well, you are so cute.
Uh, but I want to tell you something before we let you go.
Okay.
I have another piece of exciting news for you.
We're actually going to pair you up with a professional designer and developer to help you make your game an actual reality.
Yeah, Devon! - Yes! - That's so cool! Whoo! We're so great here.
That's awesome! Because we want you to share the game with all of the other Teen Wolf fans around the world.
How does that sound? That sounds amazing.
Thank you so much.
- You're the man.
- Oh, you are so welcome.
All right, congrats again to Devon, our Alpha of the Week.
Yeah, Devon! - Bye, Devon! - See you, Devon! Bye, buddy.
Now, from creepy new villains to exciting love connections to the deaths of some major characters, this season of Teen Wolf has been packed with memorable moments.
Now, we went back through every episode and picked out some highlights.
I hope you enjoy this trip down memory Lane.
Wake up, Stiles! Wake up! Scott, you can't transform.
Allison's being haunted by a dead aunt.
I'm straight up losing my mind.
Having an opening like that into your mind, it's not good.
You each need to close that door.
They are a force of nature.
You don't fight a Tsunami.
You endure it.
They're Japanese demons.
They're called the oni.
They're looking for someone possessed, someone with a dark spirit attached to them.
Nogitsune.
I'm sure by now you all know my daughter, Kira.
You forgot all the research you did for that boy you like.
You know, foxes and wolves don't really get along.
That's just a drawing in a children's book.
Stiles may be your best friend, but he is nogitsune now.
He is void.
We're going to destroy all of them, Stiles.
Wait, wait, wait! Allison! I'm in the arms of my first love.
The person I'll always love.
Allison, please don't.
Allison, don't, please.
Why are you doing this? - To win the game.
- Hyah! Yah! Aidan! All right, that was awesome.
All right, people, that does it for Wolf Watch.
If you're not ready to say good-bye just yet, head over to the after after show on MTV.
com and the MTV app right now.
And I want to thank today's guests, Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, and Jeff Davis and all of the guests who have stopped by this season.
I have had really had such a blast doing this.
And we will see you all again this summer on Teen Wolf.
Until then, I'm Jill Wagner, reminding you to watch your back.
You never know what creatures are lurking out there in the dark.
