Attack of the Kraken (2026) Movie Script

1
(melodic chimes)
(liquid sloshing)
(glass clinks)
(dramatic rumbling)
(foreboding music)
The voyage is long and
the winds don't blow
And it's time for
us to leave her
And I thought I
heard the Old Man say
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Tomorrow you
will get your pay
And it's time for
us to leave her
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her,
Johnny, leave her
For the voyage is long
and the winds don't blow
And it's time for
us to leave her
Oh, the wind was foul
and the sea ran high
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Sh shipped it green
and none went by
And it's time for
us to leave her
Leave her, Johnny, leave her
Oh, leave her,
Johnny, leave her
(crew chattering)
(Juan whistling)
- Do some work there, boy.
- Oh, skipped that bolt.
Sorry.
- It's nothing like
you've ever seen-
- Hold your sea legs,
you dogs!
(anxious music)
(wind whistling)
(rigging creaking)
- Now, that is a
sight for sore eyes.
(gentle reflective music)
(wind whistling)
Wouldn't you agree?
- Aye. Aye, been a
rough few months.
- Three months, three
weeks and six days.
Yes, a sight indeed.
We're days ahead of schedule.
Oh, you've seen to that.
(ship thumping)
(rigging creaking)
- See to the crew, John.
(gentle tense music)
Then come speak with me below.
- Aye, Captain.
(wind whistling)
(waves lapping)
(John snorts)
- Is that secure?
- Ah, she's tight. She's tight.
- Doesn't look secure.
- Struggling there are we?
- That's all, son.
(ship thumping)
(waves crashing)
Get up, lad, and take lamp.
Now, remember you take
the end of the line.
- Right.
- Around the baling pole
and you're tie it together
with an ordinary
square knot, right?
- Aye.
- Then you are to sail
and tighten.
- Aye.
- Understand?
- Aye!
- [John] Good. Honestly, did
your mother teach you nothing?
- Mother's dead, sir.
- Ellie, you're
Henry's new mother now.
Teach him how to the tie
those bloody knots, yeah?
- Yes, sir.
- [John] Good job. Carry on.
(Eleanor laughing)
- Wait, did you
actually see the devil?
- With these very eyes.
All alone I was in my quarters.
My mind a maelstrom of thoughts.
I lay there floating
in between dreams.
- More like floated
between bottles of grog.
- It approaches me.
Holds it long, bony fingers
and slowly it points at me.
From this moment
on you are cast,
you are sentenced to sail
forever without rest.
You will taste neither
apples nor tobacco.
You well bed no woman.
You will be alone.
Save for a young boy.
Horns will grow
from his forehead.
He'll have an ox's face
and the skin of a serpent.
Roaming the seas for an attempt-
- Carry on.
- And the devil went
away and I fell asleep.
- Or it could be god. Wait,
did the devil ever come back?
- (laughs) Don't be a fool, lad.
- This old fish wife
is just trying to
attract your attentions.
He's pathetic.
(footsteps pounding)
(Corvo spits)
(gentle thudding)
(rigging creaking)
- (sniffs) You
pulled us off course.
- Captain. You pulled
us off course, Captain.
- (chuckles) Hmm, Captain,
you pulled us off course.
Actually, you pulled us
off course three days ago.
Now this is Scotland
we're now fast approaching
and we're not due back
in London till, what?
Four days from now?
- You take me for a fool, John?
- No.
- Do you trust me?
- [John] With my life.
- Then trust me.
- These waters are treacherous
and the crew they're not-
- Goddammit, man,
I said trust me!
- Why did you pull
us off course?
(rigging creaking)
- Read this.
(John sniffs)
(John clears throat)
(John chuckles)
(blade whooshes)
(Corvo sighs)
(waves crashing)
- Why do insist on haunting
my every step, Corvo?
- Not very lady-like to
steal a man's blade, Ada.
- You address me as second mate.
- You only have that
title because you are a-
(Corvo moans)
- Choose your next words wisely.
- (exhales) You
know what you are.
(loud banging)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(Kraken bellowing)
- What was that?
(waves crashing)
(ship creaking)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- Yah!
(Ada yelps)
(Corvo yells)
(Ada moans)
Get up, whore.
(Ada coughing)
(apprehensive music)
(blow thuds)
(Corvo moans)
(both grunting)
(apprehensive music swells)
- So, we're not going
to make a profit then.
- We're a whaling ship.
We know fucking whales.
- We've got linens and
silks, plenty to trade
and I think there's
a few barrels of oil.
- [Shaw] That's not enough.
- [John] We've had far
worse expeditions than this.
- John, trust me when
I say it's not enough.
(John sighs)
- (clicks tongue)
What about the crew?
- (scoffs) The crew?
(chuckles) The crew'll be fine.
(Corvo moaning)
(Corvo panting)
(both groaning)
(kick thuds)
(Corvo moans)
(suspenseful music)
(suspenseful music swells)
(liquid splattering)
- I've taken this ship
on a course for a bearing
for this exact
piece of coastline.
- Why? You're planning
on killing us all.
- There's still
money to be made.
- [John] Don't be a
bloody fool, Shaw.
- Watch your mouth.
I still be the captain
on this here ship.
- Very well.
And what is this
bounty full of riches
that I don't know
about then, hmm?
You know there's no whaling
to be had this close to land.
- It's not whales we hunt.
- Then, what are
you talking about?
- There's no need for this.
Put the weapon down.
- Come on, lad.
You can do it.
(crew shouting)
- Corvo, don't!
(crew clamoring)
- Ain't no one gonna stop this?
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(crew shouting)
- Get him, girlie.
- We planned for this, Corvo!
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(both grunting)
(crew shouting faintly)
(faint banging)
- [John] For God's sake!
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(crew shouting)
- [Crew Member] I
stand besides Ada.
- What in God's
name's going on here?
- Just a bit of
disciplinary action, sir.
- She attacked me!
- Hold your tongue, man.
Come on, someone get him up.
That's enough. Corvo,
that is enough!
Now look, I know we've
had a long voyage, right?
(Kraken roaring)
(rigging creaking)
Tempers are frayed.
We're all very tired.
But I will not allow
this sort of behavior
to happen under my watch.
(Kraken bellowing)
(gear creaking)
Is that understood?
- Sir, I-
- Is that understood?
- [Ada] Yes, sir.
(Kraken roars)
- Oh, my God.
(tentacle crashing)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- Kraken!
(Eleanor screaming)
(crew clamoring)
(tentacle booms)
(crew shouting)
(crew screaming)
- What is that thing?
- It's trying to grab the ship.
Everyone grab a
weapon! Attack it.
(crew grunting)

Scab, I'm, I'm
here. I'm here, son.
I'm here. Breathe.
- It hurts. Get this
thing off. (sobbing)
- Ada, Corvo, get
over here, now!
Breathe with me.
Stay with me, son.
Breathe. Come on,
either side of it.
Either side, come on now.
- [Scab] Help me.
- Either side of
this now, come on.
One, two, three.
(Scab screaming)
All right, Ada,
get a hold of him!
Get hold of him. Corvo,
give me your scarf.
- John, that is all for him.
- Give me your scarf, Corvo.
(Scab whimpering)
Corvo, give me your scarf now.
- [Ada] It's okay. It's okay.
(Scab screaming)
- Keep an eye on
that damn sea for me.
This is going to
hurt a bit, boy.
(Scab whimpering)
Corvo, knife.
(Scab panting)
- John.
- No, please don't!
Please don't!
- Listen to me,
son. Listen to me.
I have to. This is
going to save your life.
- Bite down on this.
(Scab whimpering)
(flesh squishing)
(Scab screaming)
(flesh squishing)
(blood squirting)
- [John] Hold him! Hold him!
(Scab screaming)
Hold him!
(blood splashing)
(flesh squishing)
(Scab sobbing)
- It's okay. It's okay.
(Scab wheezing)
(somber anxious music)
(somber anxious music continues)
(somber anxious music continues)
(somber anxious music swells)
(John sobbing)
(somber anxious music)
(waves crashing)
(foreboding music)
(gulls squawking)
- Shaw! Shaw!
(blow smacks)
(Shaw groans)
- That one you
can have for free,
but the next one I'll answer.
- Did you know,
man? Did you know?
- [Shaw] Aye, I did.
- So that was your
scheme all along, was it?
You think you can kill
that bloody thing?
- Aye, I do.
- You fool!
You desperate old fool.
This blood. This is their blood.
It's on your hands now, man.
- It's a fate kinder
than going home with
an empty purse, John.
- That is not your
choice to make.
- You don't know
what it's like, John.
You've not been homeless
on the streets in London
with nothing, penniless.
Looking through a window
in a life you once had.
Waiting to die or worse.
- I pity you. I truly do.
Ah!
- I won't stop, John.
John, we need this.
- No you, you need this, man.
(somber music)
I'm done with you.
You go and do whatever you wish.
You can go and swim in
the belly of the beast
for all I care.
We're through, Shaw.
(tense music)
- Yah. It's here.
It's here all right. Yeah.
(gulls squawking)
(insects chirping)
(gentle anxious music)
(waves lapping)
(gentle anxious music continues)
(footsteps crunching)
(gentle anxious music continues)
- Sir?
- I'm gonna go
and walk the headland
look for any survivors.
I won't be long.
(footsteps crunching)
- Captain?
(wood clattering)
(gentle anxious music continues)
(fire crackling)
(Corvo sighing)
(fire crackling)
- You ever see anything
like that before, Captain?
- I spent more time
in my life at sea
than I have at land.
But I'd never seen a Kraken.
- Kraken? Kraken, you say, huh?
I hear old Tom say that
before he went overboard.
(gentle somber music)
- The Norse were the
first to mention its name.
Stories passed down
for generations.
Myth here and there.
Most pass it off
as old wives tales.
- That was no wife's tale.
(gentle somber music)
- Aye, she was a
terrifying beauty now.
Did you see the
size of her, Ada?
- I only saw it's tentacles.
It was larger than
the Rocinater.
- Aye.
- And killed most of our crew.
- Aye. They started small.
Hidden in the cracks
beneath the surface.
Far from man's eye.
There they grew, eating
their way up the food chain
and they're not done yet.
Of late, Shetlands,
Norway, Greenland,
after them is Scotland.
(waves lapping)
- You knew it was here?
- I thought it might be.
(gentle somber music)
(footsteps crunching)
Wouldn't it be
grand to be the crew
that slays such a beast?
- And the bounties
that come with it, huh?
- Aye, exactly, shipmate.
(gentle anxious music)
(insects chirping)
(John sighs)
(gentle anxious music continues)
(waves lapping)
(gentle anxious music continues)
(waves lapping)
(insects chirping)
(fire crackling)
- Ada.
- Hey, Scab.
- [Scab] What's happening?
- John has gone to find help.
A ship is coming to save us.
- That's good.
Yeah, that's good.
My leg. (crying)
- Can you get old Tom to
tell me one of his stories?
- Old Tom has gone
to get more wood.
But, I can.
- Yeah, that would be nice.
- Where I'm from, you know.
Not many people
have seen the sea.
They think it's a,
a story we tell,
like a never-ending lake.
I always get called a fool
anytime I describe
it to my mother.
Thinks it's a fairytale.
(Scab laughs)
(Scab coughing)
- (panting) Can you
tell me more? Please.
- Sometimes in my village,
we climb the highest
mountain we can find.
Takes us two days, though.
Most my friends turn
back. But I keep going.
When we get to the top,
you can see the whole
world around you.
It's beautiful.
- Can you see the ocean?
- Even then, you still
can't see the ocean.
- Wow. (panting) I
would love (gasping),
I would love it too.
- Quiet now, hush.
- I don't wanna. (crying)
- It's okay. Shh, shh.
(Scab crying)
(Ada crying)
- Now that, that just
brings a tear to my eye.
(insects chirping)
(somber music)
(suspenseful music)
(footsteps crunching)
(bird loudly coos)
(dramatic suspenseful
music swells)
(blow thuds)
(John groans)
- John, sorry, sir.
- (grunts) Very good
to see you too, Juan.
Is there anyone else alive, man?
- Me there, yeah. But Thomas,
him a kinda there, yeah.
- Kind of?
- [Juan] You have see
for yourself, sir.
- Come on.
- Come, come then.
(ominous booming)
(waves crashing)
- Wait, no! The shadows,
they're whispering again.
Do you, do you hear it?
(gasps) She's
coming. (whimpering)
Where did Juan go? He was
just here? (whimpering)
Oh, it's John.
- Thomas, I'm here.
- John.
- Yes.
- Oh, John.
- Listen.
- [Thomas] She knows everything.
- How long has he been this way?
- I don't know. Me found
him like this early, sir.
Him were arguing with one tree.
- Oh, John. (groans)
(anxious music)
(water dripping)
- Oh, my god. We need
to move him, now,
- Sir, left him. He will
mash you up into pieces.
- If we don't move
him, he's going to die.
You are going to help me.
Let's do it.
- Yes, sir.
- [John] All right.
Come on, Thomas, on your feet.
Let's go. Good man.
- Watch for her, she's coming!
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(dramatic suspenseful
music swells)
(Kraken growls)
- Ah, fuck this.
Well, come on then!
You blood-sucking
beast. I'm here!
I know you're out there. For
the love of God, come on!
You think I'm frighten
of ya? Show yourself.
Don't you think I don't see you.
You think I don't care, 'cause
I'm right here right now.
- [Ada] Captain!
- I'd hold that
tongue if I were you.
(Thomas coughing)
- Come on, Thomas.
(Thomas coughing)
(Thomas moaning)
- Oh, offer me to the god.
The god of the sea beckons.
- What?
- My welcome-
- [John] Come on,
Thomas, on your feet.
Come on.
(Thomas giggling)
(Kraken growls)
Thomas, get up!
Thomas, listen to me!
Oh for God's sake, man.
(suspenseful music)
(waves crashing)
- Are any of you bleeding?
- What do you care?
- Are any of you fucking
bleeding into the water?
- No, we're fine.
- Why? What happens if you
get blood in the water?
(suspenseful music)
- That's what happens when
you get blood in the water.
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(Kraken growling)
- God help us.
- God hasn't graced this part
of the world for centuries.
Follow me. Your
friends are in danger.
- [John] Thomas, listen to me!
(Kraken roaring)
For God's sake, man.
- Sir.
(Kraken roaring)
- I can't go now.
- Sir!
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(flesh squishing)
(Kraken roaring)
- That's her! (laughing)
(flesh squishing)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(body thuds)
(dramatic suspenseful
music swells)
(Thomas hysterically laughing)
- Thomas, come on!
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- Almighty Kraken! Dragon whore.
(Kraken roaring)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- [John] Come on.
(Kraken snorts)
(Kraken roaring)
(Kraken growling)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(tentacle crackling)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(tentacle slurping)
(Thomas muffled screaming)
(dramatic suspenseful
music swells)
(Kraken roars)
(gunshots blasting)
(Kraken snorts)
- Leave them be, creature!
(gunshot blasts)
(Kraken roars)
- My god, look at her.
- Thomas, Thomas, get up.
We've gotta go. Come on.
We've gotta go,
man. We gotta go.
Come on.
(Kraken growling)
Let's go.
(Thomas groaning)
(Kraken roaring)
- John, over here!
(Thomas moans)
(Kraken roars)
- For God's sake, do
something! Come on!
(Kraken roaring)
- Take my blood and forever.
(gunshot blasts)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- No!
- Come on, John.
(teeth snapping)
(body parts crunching)
(Kraken growling)
- Everybody, to the lighthouse.
(Kraken growling)
(Kraken roaring)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(dramatic suspenseful
music fades)
(calm music)
(distant banging)
(muffled voices clamoring)
- Why did you kill him? Why?
- I simply eased his passing.
- Oh, that's a
fucking great answer.
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- Let go of my father.
(trigger cocks)
There will be no more
movement in this room. Please.
- Pardon me, ma'am.
- Elizabeth.
- [John] (panting)
Pardon me, Elizabeth.
- Let's all just take
a moment, shall we?
- Elizabeth, how about we
get our guests some tea
and some food for
their bellies, hmm?
(gentle anxious music)
(gun clicks)
(Corvo sighs)
(gentle anxious music continues)
- Where's Scab?
(gentle anxious music continues)
- That beast out there.
What do you know-
- Captain,
it's been a long day.
It's gonna be an
even longer night.
Let me warm these old bones
and I'll answer every
question you have.
(calm music)
- We thank you for
your hospitality.
(waves lapping)
(insects chirping)
(metallic clicking)
- Are these for the Kraken?
- Aye, you could say that.
- What do you mean?
- I've been trying
to slay this beast
for the last few months.
That's every weapon
that hasn't worked.
- Then what does kill it?
- Captain, I really don't think-
- Huh, stay calm there, mate.
- (scoffs) I really don't think
that trying to kill this thing
is our best chance
of survival here.
- Oh, you're wrong.
It's your only chance.
(objects scraping)
Right. You're all here.
You head up and
down this coastline
and the Kraken will attack.
If you head behind
the lighthouse,
into the mountains, then
(scoffs) well, you'll die
of starvation or freeze
or perish in the
thousands of other ways
there are to die out here.
- Very well, miss.
(chuckles) So what?
We fight the beast?
- We draw it out.
Then we kill it.
- I won't do this. This
is a fool's errand.
I'll have no part in this.
- Craving again, Corvo.
- Want to test me again, whore?
- Leave her alone.
- Ow! You fucking
fools, all of you.
John, how many of your
men went overboard
and their bodies are lying
in the bottom of the ocean?
And you, our Captain,
you've brought us all here to
die in chase of that thing.
- What's he on about?
- Ah, Ada, you didn't know?
Our captain here and
the noble first mate,
they brought us all here
searching for riches.
- Calm yourself down, Corvo.
- Is that true? You think
that would make you rich?
- Us, Ada. Us, sweet.
- Ada, look he drove us off
course to find this Kraken.
And I knew he'd done so I
should've confronted him sooner.
Ada, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- Juan, old Tom, Scab, my
friends would die because of
this.
- And now we can kill it.
- We can't kill it. This
old fuck has just told us!
- We can. I know how.
- Elizabeth.
- [Elizabeth] (sighs) I
first encountered the Kraken
three months ago.
(eerie music)
When my father was
first stationed here,
my mother and I wanted to
visit before winter set in.
It's a hard journey,
so we wanted to be with father
before he spent six
months here alone.
(tender music)
I'd never seen the sea before.
I was begging and begging my
mother to take me to see it.
We never knew it was out
there. Never knew its hunger.
The sea was beautiful.
It was everything my
father told me it would be.
A blue blanket with
jewels sewn into it,
thrown over the earth.
My mother that day
stood against the
evil of the Kraken.
(tender music)
The blood from my finger
drew the Kraken towards us.
It had never been seen in
this area of the world.
Not even spoken of.
(gentle suspenseful music)
No one would've known,
especially not my father.
That was the last
time I saw my mother,
but not the last time
I saw the Kraken.
(eerie music)
(Albert crying)
(crying) From that moment
on, we've been stuck here
watching it wreak havoc on
the coast waiting for you.
- Waiting for us?
- We were alone here.
Every few weeks a vessel will
either pass in the distance
or be destroyed by the Kraken.
We've, we've salvaged all
the weapons we could find.
They haven't done it.
- The gun fireworks,
it hates that
and blades are practically
useless, but fire, however.
- Fire scares the beast.
You've washed up with
barrels of the stuff.
- We know it's drawn to blood
in the sea and it hates fire.
So that will probably kill it.
- Probably?
- We need to
fix the beacon here.
There's a light
signal I can send out.
Military ships will
be here within a day
and burn the thing out.
We just needed more
people to pull it off.
- Fine. So what do we do then?
(insects chirping)
(waves lapping)
(lively upbeat music)
- Again.
- Myself and Elizabeth
head to the drum room
and we wait for the
gears to start turning.
- In the meantime,
me and Corvo will head to
the bottom level coal room
and fire up the generator.
- Right.
Once we feel the
engine firing up,
we pries the gear
off the main drum
to allow the beacon
to spin freely.
- Aye, me and your captain
here will be at the beacon
and on the lookout
from up there.
Once that gear's unjammed,
the beacon will spin
and I'll start the signal.
(apprehensive music)
- As simple as that.
- Remember, no
blood in the water.
Keep your eyes on the ocean
and always be on the lockout.
Kraken has grown stronger every
time you've encountered it.
- As soon as the
signal beacon's moving,
everyone's to get
back to this room.
- Yes, sir.
- And thank you.
May God have mercy on us all.
(waves crashing)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(insects chirping)
(apprehensive music)
(door clanks)
- [John] Hm?
(John clearing throat)
(Elizabeth chuckles)
(gear creaking)
(John grunts)
- (laughs) Well, you thought
it would be that easy.
- It's worth a shot.
- (chuckles) It's been
broken since we arrived.
Hence, why the
beacon points inland/
- Oh.
- It was father's job
to fix it, but they
didn't have the manpower.
- And then the Kraken attacked.
- You know it's smart.
It knows this place is a
bountiful, feeding ground.
When passing vessels, they
get too close to the shoreline
and, well, the
lighthouse is useless.
- Then they fall
prey to the thing.
- Straight into
the Kraken's lap.
- I'll be damned.
(gear clicking)
(heels clicking)
Elizabeth, look, um, I, I'm
sorry about your mother.
- (sighs) Don't be I've,
I've made my peace with it.
(John clears throat)
You know, I'm so sorry.
I don't think I got
your name earlier.
- Oh, (chuckles) it's John.
It's John. Right.
(Elizabeth chuckles)
- You've lost people
too haven't you?
- Yes, more than
I care to count.
(insects chirping)
(wind whistling)
- Don't talk much do you?
- This Kraken how close have
you come to stabbing it?
- As soon as your crew
have done their part,
this light should start to work.
- The Kraken, old
man, how do I kill it?
- I wouldn't send your thoughts
down that path, Captain.
Get yourself killed.
- How close?
- (chuckles) The closest I
ever came was with a harpoon.
Some sort of fleshy
bit on its underbelly.
You aim for that,
I'll say you have half a
show of putting it down.
- And fire, you say?
- Aye, a fire.
(Albert clears throat)
(wind whistling)
(coal rattling)
(Ada groans)
(metallic rattling)
- It's no good. It's not moving.
- Well, you keep shoveling.
It needs more heat
to start moving
and we need to keep the coal
from clogging the engine.
- Oh, is that so?
I didn't realize, Ada,
that you are the savior
of all lighthouses.
I'm sure your
perfections are marveled
from here to the Colonies.
- Can we please just
get through this
and we can continue
whatever it is we do
to each other when
the sun comes up.
(coal rattling)
(both sighing)
- Hey, I haven't forgotten
about this, sugar.
- Argh, you have
proven once again
to be the bane of my existence.
Can we just complete the task
at hand so we can survive.
- Survive? Survive?
Ada, whatever
happens here tonight,
you will not survive.
(foreboding music)
- Is that a threat?
- That, no. More of a promise.
- You, you are menace!
Perhaps if you weren't
so insufferably arrogant,
you might be in the
position you crave so badly.
- What?
- Ah, ooh-la-la.
You desire your rank
above all else, no?
- Aye, I do my duty better
than anyone else on this ship.
Better than you.
- Oh, is that so?
Because all I see is a man
too proud to accept help
even when it's needed.
- Careful, now.
- Know this, I will not
be cowed by your anger.
(Corvo scoffs)
We are not equals here.
Whether you accept it or not.
(foreboding music)
- Watch your mouth
you salty whore
or I will gut you like a fish.
(foreboding music)
(fire crackling)
(suspenseful music)
(gears roaring)
(lively upbeat music)
- My God, they bloody did it.
- Huh, surprised?
- Well, those two don't
tend to see eye to eye.
- Come on, help me turn this.
- What?
- Come on.
- [John] Oh right, yes.
(apprehensive music)
(Corvo groaning)
(Ada yelps)
(apprehensive music)
(both grunting)
(Ada moaning)
(apprehensive music continues)
(Corvo groaning)
(Ada panting and coughing)
- Time to feed the
fishes. (groans)
- Get off!
- Get off!
(both grunting)
(gear clicks)
- [John] Yes. Yes.
There we go.
Yes, that's it.
Yes, it's moving. (laughing)
(gears humming)
(both laughing)
(gears humming)
(wind whistling)
- That's my girl! (laughing)
My girl! (laughing)
Come and help me set the signal.
Captain? Captain?
(foreboding music)
(foreboding music swells)
(dramatic booming)
(Albert yelling)
(Shaw panting)
(wind whistling)

you filthy heathen!
Get your off me! (whimpering)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
(Ada panting)
(blade zings)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
I've had enough of you!
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
(both grunting)
(Corvo groans)
(Ada moaning)
(Corvo roars)
(both groaning)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
(chain whooshing)
(Ada yells)
(Corvo yells)
(Ada moaning)
(Ada panting)
(insects chirping)
(wind whistling)
- Come on, sweets. Play for me.
(chain whooshing)
(Corvo groaning)
(Corvo growls)
(chain rattling)
(Corvo yells)
(both grunting)
- I have killed whores like
you before, many whores.
But they've never put up
such a fight. (groaning)
(gears clanking)
- Shaw? Shaw!
(door slams)
Shaw, open this door!
What are playing at?
(door rattling)
- Why would he do that?
- The captain has great motives.
Damn, locking the door
is the last note! Shaw!
(fists pounding)
(Ada whimpering)
(Corvo moans)
- Yield, Corvo! Yield!
- Your leg. Your leg,
you fucking moron!
(suspenseful music)
(tentacle creaking)
(Kraken roaring)
(Corvo moaning)
(Corvo yelling)
(Kraken roaring)
- (moaning) Help me, Ada.
(Kraken bellowing)
Oh no, you fucking whore!
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- Now you ask for help.
(dramatic suspenseful
music swells)
(Corvo screams)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(flesh squishing)
(bones crunching)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
(Kraken roaring)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
(Kraken bellowing)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
(dramatic suspenseful
music swells)
(Kraken roaring)
(jaw cracking)
(Ada screams)
(teeth crunching)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(kicks banging)
(Kraken bellowing)
- The Kraken.
- Oh, god. Something's wrong.
- [Elizabeth] What?
(hands banging)
We need to get out
of here now, sailor.
Come and help me, John!
- Is there another way out?
- No, this is the only way out.
(John yells)
(door thuds)
(John groaning)
- John, are you alright?
- Never better. Come on.
- Ooh!
(waves lapping)
Oh.
(suspenseful music)
(waves crashing)
(chain jingling)
It was here.
- All right, it was.
- [Elizabeth] We need
to leave. Now, John!
- Yes. Yes, I
couldn't agree more.
(waves crashing)
There you are.
(waves crashing)
He's ahead of us.
(bird cooing)
What is your game, Shaw?
(bird cooing)
- John, I'm not staying here.
(bird cooing)
Well, something is wrong.
The beacon's turned off.
(bird cooing)
I'm going back.
If Shaw's out here and
the beacon's turned off,
it must mean something's
happened to my father.
- Elizabeth, wait, sorry, I...
Be careful.
Shaw has a wild
fixation on this beast.
I didn't realize that until now,
so just be vigilant.
(tender music)
- And you.
- Oh, uh,
well don't worry about me.
I'll be all right.
I'll have words for you.
(tender music)
(bird cooing)
(Kraken bellowing)
(tender music fades)
(bird cooing)
(suspenseful music)
(suspenseful music continues)
(bird cooing)
(foreboding music)
(birds cooing)
(footsteps rustling)
(Elizabeth gasps)
(Shaw growls)
(Elizabeth panting)
- Quiet little birdie.
I don't have to hurt yous.
- (panting) What have you
done? Where's my father?
Get your fucking hands off me!
- You go ahead and
sing little birdie.
Come on, sing for me.
(Elizabeth screaming)
(suspenseful music)
(birds cooing)
- Elizabeth!
- Here, John.
I heard her scream.
- Elizabeth.
(bird cooing)
- What do you think happened?
(suspenseful music swells)
(John groans)
(blow thuds)
(foreboding music)
(waves crashing)
(foreboding music continues)
(fire crackling)
(water splashing)
(John gasps)
(John coughing)
(foreboding music)
- You dog.
(John gasping)
Damn you, Shaw. (gasping)
(blood splattering)
(suspenseful music)
(Elizabeth groaning)
(Elizabeth panting)
(Elizabeth growls)
(footsteps plodding)
(both laughing)
- Father, what happened to you?
- I just took a
tumble. That's all.
(Elizabeth yelping)
(Albert moaning)
- Ooh. (panting)
(Albert speaking faintly)
- This beach will
be your grave, man.
You think the crew
would be proud of this?
- Shh, quiet down.
- What do you suppose it's
gonna happen when you return?
Do you think there's
gonna be a parade for you,
filled with riches
and you returning with
the corpse of that beast?
The great Captain Shaw! (laughs)
They're gonna have tapestries
telling your tale of
how brave you were.
How brave is this now, Ben?
On your return you will
find nothing but shackles.
The gallows waiting for you.
- Me family will survive.
That's all I pray for.
- Your family? Look up.
It's a rotten, stinking corpse
and they will know that
you are fucking murderer!
- One more word about my family
and I'll bleed you out myself.
- Well, your child
is gonna grow up
knowing that her father is
nothing but a gutless old
coward.
Who killed the very men
you swore to-(yells)
(Elizabeth gasps)
(apprehensive music)
- Go and help him.
- Can you move?
- Leave me, child. I'll be fine.
- I'm not leaving you.
- Go.
God knows what hell those men
are gonna bring down on us all
with that racket. (panting)
(gentle apprehensive music)
Go. Why are you here for?
You know what you've gotta do.
Bring the beast here.
- And we'll burn it alive.
(footsteps plodding)
(Albert groaning)
(blow thuds)
(John moaning)
(Kraken bellowing)
- Why don't you untie me
and face me like a man?
- There you are. There now.
(Kraken bellowing)
Look, John, isn't she a beauty?
- (gasping) Shaw, you know
you're not summoning the Kraken,
but you have to
summon the hero, too.
- Aye, if it be that
way then it'll be.
- You are a madman, after all.
(both laughing)
- See John.
- Huh?
- [Shaw] Power,
power's taken, John.
It's not given to you.
Therefore, we must take the
power from that ungodly beast.
John, it must be.
And you, first
mate, and from you.
(dramatic suspenseful music)
- Get back. Get back!
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(Kraken roaring)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
John.
(body thuds)
No!
(Kraken roaring)
(Shaw yells)
(Kraken roars)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
(Elizabeth panting)
(Kraken bellowing)
Hey!
(foreboding music)
(Elizabeth yelps)
- No, what are you doing?
(Kraken roaring)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(Kraken roaring)
(Elizabeth screams)
- John!
- Captain?
(foreboding music)
- [Shaw] I suppose now I'm
gonna have to kill you.
- Yes, I suppose you are.
(both grunting)
(suspenseful music)
(blows thudding)
(Shaw moaning)
(Shaw gasping)
(waves crashing)
(suspenseful music swells)
- Forgive me.
(gunshot blasts)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(Elizabeth yelping)
(Kraken roaring)
- (yelling) Get off. (grunting)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(Albert groaning)
(wind whistling)
(Kraken growling)
- (chuckles) That's it,
beastie. That's it. (panting)
(Elizabeth panting)
(suspenseful music)
- Father!
(Shaw throat gurgling)
- Tell them, (gurgling) tell,
tell me family. Tell them.
(sorrowful music)
(waves crashing)
(John sniffling)
(Kraken growling)
(suspenseful music)
(lighthouse rumbling)
(suspenseful music)
(Kraken roaring)

Father! Father!
(knife squishing)
(John gasping)
- Come on. Come on, John!
Steady yourself. (panting)
Now you take note
of this, Captain.
We managed to get it up there.
(Elizabeth panting)
(Albert moaning)
(Kraken roaring)
(tentacle thuds)
(Elizabeth yelps)
(Kraken growling)
(panting) Come on
you big ugly beast.
Fall, damn it. Fall!
(gunshot blasts)
(Kraken roaring)
(suspenseful music)
(Kraken roaring)
Well, that's not good.
(trigger clicks)
Oh!
(gun clatters)
(John coughing)
(dramatic suspenseful music)
(Albert moaning)
(dramatic suspenseful
music continues)
- While the beast has
backed off, go. Run now.
- No, no, I'm not leaving you.
- You won't be leaving me.
You're just helping me go
and see your mother again.
(Elizabeth crying)
(Kraken bellowing)
(tender music)
(Kraken screaming)
- Could us a little help here.
(Kraken bellowing)
Push.
(Kraken screaming)
(both grunting)
(eerie music)
(Kraken screaming)
(Kraken's body crashes)
(John groaning)
(John coughing)
- We still have to end this.
- I believe that was
rather a definitive end.
- We need to see it burn.
(apprehensive music)
(wind whistling)
- As you wish, ma'am.
- (coughing) Oh.
- Father.
- Go. We, we stopped it.
I'm on the beacon here.
Somebody needs to start
the lighting sequence
for the military.
- But your arm.
- What arm?
John, go and help my
daughter kill the Kraken,
once for all.
- Yes, sir.
(tender music)
(wind whistling)
(insects chirping)
(suspenseful music)
(both grunting)
Yes. (panting)

Wait, wait. It's still alive.
No, Elizabeth. Elizabeth.
(anxious music)
(Kraken groans)
(eyelid squishing)
- It's scared.
- Yes, as am I.
Now, if you would be so kind,
please take a step back.
(Kraken groans)
(Elizabeth screams)
(Kraken groans)
(anxious music)
(waves crashing)

(flames roaring)
(Kraken roaring)
(Albert panting)
(Kraken groaning)
(Albert laughing)
(water lapping)
(gentle hopeful music)
- Ship!
- What? (laughing)
- [Albert] (laughing)
Ship on the horizon!
(water lapping)
(gentle hopeful music)
(John coughing)
- (sighs) So what happens now?
- How do you mean?
- Well, with you. Like
where do you go from here?
- You know, I'm
not rightly sure.
I suppose I'll try and
catch a ride with them
and make my way back
to London, somehow.
- Do you know I've
never been to London.
(body thuds)
John.
(sorrowful music)
John. (crying)
