(Cloud panting)
(bioscanner beeping)
(panting)
(booster hissing)
(sighing)
(light dramatic music)
(ground crunching)
(dagger thudding)
- Water.
- Cloud.
Always a pleasure.
(thudding)
(dagger slashing)
(groaning)
(thudding)
Hm, consider yourself lucky.
- Lucky?
- We're all replaceable,
don't forget that.
(silenced gunshot whizzing)
- [Cloud] Water.
(zapping)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
- [Earth] In our future, one simple breath
could mean life or death.
As we search for a solution,
pollution engulfs our world.
If we don't find an answer fast,
all living things shall perish.
Bioscanners have been embedded
into each human being.
They were created to
help produce clean air
for each individual,
but they are expensive
and third world countries are suffering.
Now, bioscanners are failing.
But a new code has been developed.
We are the five elements who
strive to protect humanity.
Years ago, many warriors
came to us seeking change
and joined our way of life.
Now, we must fight for our
lives to bring the code
to the world or die trying.
(panting)
(groaning)
- Damn.
(bioscanner beeping)
It's me, Cloud.
Something happened.
We need to meet.
When?
Where?
Okay.
(Cloud sighs)
(Cloud groans)
TV on.
(beeping)
- 10 million dead, yes
you heard that right.
The death toll now sits at 10 million.
The thinning of the ozone
layer and pollution levels
continue to increase across the globe
and scientists estimate
that in five to 10 years,
all living creatures may cease to exist,
unless a formula can be developed
and implemented immediately
to produce mass quantities
of clean air and repair
of frail upper atmosphere.
So far, third world countries
have suffered the most
with whole villages and towns dying.
But now the bioscanners for
Medican Research are failing.
They simply cannot keep
up with the rapid rise
of ultraviolet radiation and.
(water rushing)
People are getting sicker
and the CDC estimates
over 2/3 of the population
are now infected
with pollution related
diseases, especially the poor...
- What the?
(Cloud coughing)
(dramatic music)
- [Four11 Memeber] We got him.
Send a unit to pick up the body.
- [Four11 Memeber] We
gotta clean up this mess.
(car engine rumbling)
- Who are you guys?
What's going on?
(Cloud groaning)
(fists thudding)
- Hold this.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Cloud panting)
(tires screeching)
- Cloud.
- [Cloud] How'd you guys
know where to find me?
- Don't flatter yourself.
We were actually tracking Emma's killer.
Oddly enough, it lead to your apartment.
Got an explanation for that?
- [Cloud] I dunno.
- That's when we noticed you being
loaded into the ambulance.
So we followed you.
- This is Dr. Dave of the Wind's Clan.
He was asked to help out on
the investigation of Emma's killer.
Our old clan's leader.
- Um.
- You guys actually met.
At Earth's training school.
- Oh yeah, now I remember you.
How's Wind doing?
- He's doing well, Master Cloud.
- Great, I heard that he's
decided to move on with his life.
- That's right, he's
waiting for us at the dock.
We should get going.
- Great.
- Four11's.
What do they want with you?
- How do I know, I was just woke up here.
(Dr. Dave clearing throat)
(bioscanner beeping)
- The radiation levels are spiking.
We should get going.
- [Cloud] Great.
(Cloud groaning)
Oh, thank you.
(dramatic music)
(child coughing)
- [Woman] You all right?
You all right?
(child coughing)
- The cargo is lost.
How's our son holding up?
- [Ms. Swan] Weaker by
the hour, thanks to you.
That cargo was the key to his survival.
Find it.
- I don't want to start a war.
We can resolve this without violence.
- You've wasted years chasing
this diplomatic solution
of yours and you have
nothing to show for it.
And now, his time grows short.
If he dies, I promise you my wrath
will not be delayed or diplomatic.
- Our alliance with elements
has had some setbacks.
But I'm confident I can
get them to cooperate.
I just need a little more time.
I just...
(dart whooshing)
- [Ms. Swan] You've cost us time.
There's not much left.
Retrieve the package, and coerce
the elements to cooperate.
Our son's life depends on it.
And so does yours.
That needle shall remain lodged
in you until he is saved.
(suspenseful music)
(Lee groaning)
- Sir, should I call
the doctor like before?
- Yeah, but later.
Not until our work is done.
(Lee groaning)
(zapping)
(dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- We're too late.
There's no trace of anyone.
Okay.
(ambulance door slamming)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Gold chuckling)
- You've gotten flabby.
Too many carbs?
(thudding)
(groaning)
Is that all you got?
- Oh, Gold.
You better cool it down a bit.
You're the Gold that
trained with us before.
You never know what's up Wood's sleave.
- Out the old, come the new.
He retired last year
and the elders choose me
to be the new leader of our Gold Clan.
I guess he found peace.
Now I'm the new Gold and...
(Fire chuckling)
- Maybe your elders
are just trying to test you.
- You talk way too much.
(staff clicking)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(grunting)
(Gold chuckling)
- Little boy.
- I will own you!
- Okay, thanks for the update.
(bioscanner beeping)
(Earth sighs)
(Gold chuckling)
- [Wood] Whatever man, you know I could've
taken you out with one blow, right?
- [Gold] But you didn't now, did you?
- [Fire] Amateurs, I could have taken you
both out in a heartbeat.
(light dramatic music)
- Cloud called, I think he's in trouble.
I sent Dave of the Wind Clan
and Water to lend him a hand
and keep him safe.
I want you three to go.
They may need your help.
- The current bioscanner
devices from Medican corporation
are failing as both the
radiation and air pollution
increase across the globe,
with third world countries
feeling the brunt of it.
- People are getting sicker,
they're dying because
the bioscanners can't keep up
and no one's unscathed, not even here.
- Right, the entire population is infected
and 25% of that have already died.
You should constantly check
your bioscanners and please
remember to stay indoors
when radiation level peaks.
- That's right and politicians,
they remain in session until
they can come up with a plan
for the next steps to take.
- [Women Reporter] Medican's stocks plunge
as news emerges of Congress
calling for a grand jury
investigation of their bioscanners.
- [Male Reporter] And current
Medican CEO, Mr. Steve Costa,
he's received billions from
countries around the world
to develop an advanced
upgrade to those bioscanners,
but so far he's failed to deliver.
So can we explain to
the viewer at least how
that new update is supposed to work?
- [Woman Reporter] Yes.
So, if it worked properly,
it's a non-invasive upgrade
that gets installed like
software at any Medican facility.
It increases the
algorithm speed to keep up
with the rising pollution levels.
And when a person goes to sleep,
it recharges while still protecting you.
- [Male Reporter] It's
actually 24 hours a day,
but there is a catch.
- Good morning, Mr. Costa.
- Yes, there is.
Despite billions that Medican
received to develop a cure.
- Did you see this?
The shareholders are gonna have my ass.
Now who the hell leaked the upgrade?
- I don't...
- I need you to do some
damage control and
contain any further leaks.
Has the research department
cracked the biometric code yet?
And send the Doc up to see me.
- He, he left.
He left.
- What?
What do you mean he left?
(crashing)
You know who to call.
I want the Doc returned
to Medican, he's ours.
The shareholders will show no mercy,
and neither will I.
(dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- I've got a job for you.
(beeping)
(hip hop music)
She said see it at the school
The dojo, solo
Your child says this verse
- You expecting somebody?
- Uh, I called for a ride.
- Yeah, most people do that
after they had a few drinks.
You know, it's kind of a bar thing.
- I'll take a soda.
- Oh, soda.
Gave 'em a way out
What's that all about?
- [Bartender] Got it.
He was good
They kicked Santa and
he flew back like whoa
- All right.
Why you stressin
Many students left with
him 'cause he was infected
- What is this?
- What you ordered.
A soda.
- I meant like Cola.
- Oh, all right.
Yeah, a Cola, good.
But that bitch got slapped
- [Bartender] Like a Cola, yeah, okay.
You gotta leave or apologize
That's cool 'cause your school
is about to get downsized
- All right.
One soda.
- [Doc] Oh, can I get a wedge of lime?
- Oh, a wedge of lime.
Okay, yeah.
A wedge of lime.
Right there.
- [Doc] Oh.
- Do you want me to dim the music?
You know, yeah, dim the the lights?
Make it a little more comfortable for you.
- Uh, no thanks, I'm fine.
- All right, yeah.
Enjoy yourself.
God, freakin' cheapskate.
(dramatic music)
- So uh, you the Doc?
Ah, what we we have here?
(bioscanner beeping)
Yeah, we got him.
Come on.
- Why don't you mind your own business
if you know what's good for ya.
- Four on one, not playing fair now.
(thudding)
(bioscanner beeping)
(thudding)
(men groaning)
(booster hissing)
Thank you.
(pool cue thudding)
(thudding)
(men groaning)
(light dramatic music)
- You guys got here fast.
I didn't hear the sirens.
Some guy ordered a soda
and all shit hit the...
(gunshot banging)
(people screaming)
(gunshots banging)
- No, leave them alone.
Let 'em take the fall when the cops come.
- Yes, sir.
(bioscanner beeping)
- Docs been through here.
- Sir, he's not far from here.
- Well then, let's go gram him.
- Hey, slow down, what's the rush?
- Thanks for your help back there,
but I was doing just fine on my own.
- It's not about you.
We were tracking Emma's killer.
- You just happened to be there.
- Yes, quite odd how you just happened
to be in the same
vicinity as Emma's killer.
Funny how you just keep popping up.
Those Four11's could have
killed you and they didn't.
Why?
What do you they want with you?
- I have no idea what the
Four11 want to do with me.
- Bullshit!
- I don't know!
- You know, there's a fine
line between being unhelpful
and obstruction of justice.
- Now what is that supposed to mean?
- She already told you.
We were investigating Emma's
murder when you were being
loaded into the ambulance
and to prevent having another
dead clansman on our
hands, we followed you.
- Really wanna know what happened?
Fine, I'll tell you.
But you're not gonna like it.
(Cloud sighs)
A few years ago my boss at
the time had, well still has a
very sick son who is drastically
affected by the radiation.
He had asked me to
infiltrate the elements.
He said he'd heard you were in possession
of the green stone that
could cure his son.
They knew Emma was the
leader of the Water clan
and knew where I would bump into her.
I built a relationship to get in.
- You used her?
- No.
- You used my sister?
- No, please hear me out.
I trained hard and emerged
with the ways of the elements.
I learned so much from you about respect
and honor and about myself.
I really enjoyed living
among the elements so much,
I almost forgot about my original mission.
But I was soon confronted
with the reality of things.
Although Earth and Grandmaster
permitted me to join
the elements after passing my initiation,
Earth kept his eyes on me at all time.
They were always on to me.
(suspenseful music)
I renounced the Four11 and pledged
my loyalty exclusively to the elements.
While he did not agree with
my handling of the situation,
he understood that I only
did it for the child.
Earth asked me to keep
the pretense with my boss.
Basically, making me a double agent,
so he could have access to
the intel on the Four11's.
Lee, my ex-boss was getting impatient
with my progress and demanded answers.
I told him he had been wrong.
That the elements didn't
have a green stone.
They had evidence of their own.
They had found out that
I had changed sides.
Traitors are slain.
I was to be executed.
(dramatic music)
- We don't tolerate traitors.
Get him!
(thudding)
(groaning)
(crunching)
(Cloud coughing)
- Hold it!
(Cloud coughing)
(Cloud groaning)
- [Cloud] Son of a bitch.
- Hurts, doesn't it?
But you are strong.
You might actually survive
a beating like this.
That's not a chance I'm willing to take.
Traitors deserve to die.
- No, no, no.
- Slow and painful.
- [Cloud] No.
No!
- And alone!
- No!
(flesh squishing)
(Cloud groaning)
(Lee grunting)
- There, that oughta do it.
(light dramatic music)
- [Cloud] I was sure
as much left for dead,
and I thought I was going to die.
I wish I was.
Somehow, he saved me.
- I wanted to kill everyone
involved in Emma's murder.
But Earth calmed me down
and convinced me to find
her actual killer and
bring him to justice.
You, you are to blame.
If it wasn't for you Emma
would still be alive!
- I didn't kill her.
- No, I suspect Four11's
were involved, I'm not sure.
And you may have not directly killed her,
but your selfish ways lead
to her death indirectly.
- I...
(slapping)
(fists thudding)
(Water grunting)
- Enough, enough.
(bioscanner beeping)
- Where are you?
- We're nearly there.
We're at the garden.
- You still have a long walk ahead of you.
Don't delay and don't stop.
Not even for rest.
I've sent Gold, Wood and Fire to you.
They should reach you
soon, but stay alert.
That area isn't safe.
Get to the monastery as soon as possible.
- There was a brutal massacre
here at the Shadows bar.
There is currently reports
of multiple injured and several dead.
Currently the police have no leads
on any suspects at this time.
If anyone has any information
regarding this crime,
do not hesitate to contact the police.
(thudding)
(grunting)
(ominous music)
- He hasn't talked yet.
Apparently he's got some major cojones.
(mercenaries chuckling)
- It was too easy to track you down.
Didn't you know we'd
hunt you and find you?
And why aren't you talking now?
(thudding)
We tore apart your bioscanner
and couldn't find the code.
We know you have it.
Where is it?
- You'll never find it.
It's not yours to have.
The code belongs to the world and...
- No, the code belongs to Medican.
- I developed it.
It's mine to do with as I please.
- Now, that's not what your contract says.
Medican pays you, therefore
they own your work.
They also pay me so when
fools like you decide
to do something stupid I...
- Everyone I the world deserves the code.
You don't get to decide
who lives and dies.
- Sir, there seems to have been someone
who left the bar before your arrived.
- Well, go track him down.
- Yes, sir.
- What should I do with him?
- Whatever's necessary.
BJ, he's all yours.
(chuckling)
- Now, now, now.
The game is about to begin.
Where should I start?
- No, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no,
no!
(Doc screaming)
(dramatic music)
- Here.
- Will this still work?
It's been over three days.
- Yes, as long as its
been within seven days,
the residual can still be
found through his energy flow.
(whirring)
(bioscanner beeping)
That was Dave.
It seems the Four11's
have an interest in Cloud.
- Why?
- No one knows.
But Cloud is now safe with Water and Dave.
They're heading back to the warehouse.
- We should split up.
Call Earth and report your findings.
Track the mercenaries,
but keep your distance.
Just observe.
Remember, it's only you.
We'll hunt down the Four11's
and see what they're up to.
- What'd Cloud get himself into this time?
- Who knows, but this is huge.
I wonder who this Doc is and why did he
decide to give a boost to Cloud?
It appears there's more
questions than answers.
(Fire sighs)
(dramatic music)
(floor creaking)
- Hey Earth, I'm back as you asked.
Can you tell me what's going on?
It seems that both Four11's and
mercenaries are after Cloud.
No one seems to know why.
- I think it's happening.
Everything that we've been
training for is coming to a head,
and somehow Cloud's the key.
- Whoa.
- And we don't even know
who killed Water yet.
- Wait, Water's dead?
- No, Water's sister Emma,
the previous Clan leader.
- It's be so long I had nearly
forgotten that she filled in.
- Yeah.
Find out who these mercenaries
are, but be careful.
- I'm good.
Don't worry about me.
(dramatic music)
- Is something troubling you, Earth?
- I think our clan may
have gotten involved
in the current political turmoil.
But we may be the only
ones to save them all.
- Sometime one needs
to intervene to correct
not only one's path, but for
all to seek a better path.
(dramatic music)
(child coughing)
- Yen, it's good seeing you again.
Welcome home.
It's been a while.
She's expecting you.
This way.
(child coughing)
- Hello, Yen.
I hear you have vital news?
- Doc may have given the code to Neil.
- No.
So the one who not only failed
to find the green stone,
but turned against us
now stands in our way.
Great.
He's caused many problems
dragging the elements into this.
By turning his back on his mission, on me.
I want that code at any cost.
My son's life depends on it.
Word has it you're good at what you do.
Prove it.
- Doc and Neil may have since parted ways.
Doc may be in the hands of mercenaries.
- Well, perhaps we should
follow both the Doc and Neil.
We need to find the code
before it's too late.
There's no telling who
has it at this point.
- [Ms. Swan] Agreed.
Yen, you check with Doc
and the mercenaries.
They might have him captive.
Lee, track down the traitor.
Find Neil.
Now!
(dramatic music)
(motorcycle engine revving)
(people talking over each other)
He thinks you're ignorant I think
I thought you don't believe
(muffled talking)
And what do you remember
Look, I love you
I said it
Come here to deliver the news
You need my advice
- Keep your distance from the elements.
We're neutral and don't want any trouble,
but we will take a stand
if your provoke us.
(chuckling)
- You think you're a match for my men?
- You don't wanna know
what we're capable of.
- Lay off of Cloud or we're
gonna be forced to intervene.
- [Marcus] Is that a threat?
- You think we're joking?
Try us.
- Another empty threat.
We have weapons of mass
destruction against
your tiny hands and swords.
We also have guns.
- Do you think we get
intimidated very easily?
- [Wood] So what do you
want with Cloud anyway?
- You know that bar that's
been on the television lately?
It's an illusion, he's here
- I was hired to track
this guy they call Doc.
He used to work for the
people that hired me.
- Used to?
- Well, he ran off and
stole some proprietary
technology that wasn't his to take.
- So what does this have to do with Cloud?
- Someone else was also tracking him.
The Four11's were also at the bar.
Someone took them out,
but they left them alive.
- I thought the news said
there were no survivors?
- Everyone was dead when I got there.
Except for the Four11's.
I figure, why not let them take the fall?
- What do you know of Cloud's
involvement in all this?
- I suspect he was also tracking Doc
or maybe he just happened
to be at the wrong place
at the wrong time, but I doubt that.
Do you know his whereabouts?
- [Fire] The bar, that's all we know.
- Maybe we could work together.
I just wanna retrieve that
stolen piece of technology.
- That'd be something
we discuss with Earth.
Either way, we're not giving
up any of our members.
That's out of the question.
Weak and strong, I know
- What if I told you I had
some discerning information
regarding one of your members.
- You're bluffing.
So you can be humble
- Who?
- The one you call Water.
- [Wood] She's perfectly fine.
- Is she though?
- What do you know about her?
- Plenty.
- We're still investigating that matter.
I highly doubt you'd have
anything to contribute.
- He doesn't have anything
we don't already know.
I'm good at
I doubt it
I'm here to deliver the news
And you need my advice
- Well.
- So what is it you want with Cloud?
- He and Doc must have linked
up at the bar and then slipped
him the stolen piece of
technology without him knowing.
- So how would he know
if he has this on him?
- He wouldn't.
So, what can you offer me?
(dramatic music)
- So Neil is in the middle of all this.
I have to find him before they do.
(engine rumbling)
Tonight I'm going to the party
- Well, guess who that was?
(dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- You know the more I think about it,
the more I think the Four11's killed Emma.
- I don't think so.
- How do you know?
Are you covering for your friends?
- They're not my friends.
They never were.
- Yeah right.
- It was just a job.
- And my sister was part of the job?
You know, maybe you killed her.
- I could never.
The elements are the only family I have.
- I don't trust you.
- That's in the past.
- And so is my sister.
(Dr. Dave panting)
- They're here.
- Who?
- The Four11's.
We have to keep moving.
(Cloud groaning)
Let's go.
(dramatic music)
- [Four11 Member] Surrender
the one you call Cloud.
- I thought you cut ties with these guys?
- Doesn't look like it, now does it?
- Who are you?
TJ, what happened to you?
- Friendships come at a cost, Neil.
Especially when your friend betrays you
and defects to the enemy.
- TJ, I'm sorry.
- I'll show you sorry.
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- [Four11 Member] Let's go!
(Cloud coughing)
- I think he's running a fever.
(bioscanner beeping)
- Take him to the monastery.
His bioscanner's not working properly.
(Cloud coughing)
Gold, you said the Doc slipped
him something in your vision?
Wood, Fire, follow the mercenaries.
They more than likely have Doc.
Find out what Doc did to Cloud.
Gold, follow the Four11,
but do not engage.
They outnumber you.
(Cloud panting)
- If it's worth anything,
Emma meant a lot to me.
- Don't you ever mention her again.
You are not worthy to speak of her,
let alone say her name.
- Guys, guys just stop it already.
We need to get Cloud to the base
so we can him some medical attention.
- [Water] Why don't we
just leave him to die?
- Look, regardless of
what you might think,
I didn't kill your sister.
- You might as well have.
You may have not laid a hand on her,
but I blame you just the same.
- Just stop it already, that's enough.
What's done is done.
(Cloud coughing)
We can't change the past.
Let it go.
- Okay.
- Let's rest here.
Conserve your energy.
- All right, okay.
(Cloud groaning)
- He's ours.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(silenced gunshots whizzing)
(light dramatic music)
(body thudding)
- Jump.
It's me.
(thudding)
(groaning)
Go, I got this.
(grunting)
- [Man] Anytime now.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- [Man] Hey punk!
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Cloud panting)
(Cloud groaning)
(light dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- Damn!
Water, can you hear me?
Wind?
Damn.
(dramatic music)
- Neil, you seem lost.
Come with us.
We'll show you the way.
- [Cloud] I appreciate the offer,
but I think I'll pass.
- We insist.
(thudding)
(groaning)
- Get off me.
(fist thudding)
- I don't think you understand.
I'm not giving you a choice.
You're coming with us.
Come on.
(intense dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
Gonna rethink that offer?
(thudding)
(groaning)
(man spitting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- You picked the wrong side.
- How would you know?
You left us.
- I had my reasons.
I thought you were better than that.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Cloud grunting)
(intense dramatic music)
(man grunting)
(Cloud gasping)
Took you long enough.
Next time, don't wait for a
dramatic entrance to show up.
- [Water] Try calling.
- I did.
My bioscanner must be malfunctioning.
I think it's effected by
whatever's happening to me.
- Oh, let's keep moving.
This way toward the lake.
Wind and our clansmen are waiting for us.
- I have to go report to my
clan before things get worse.
I'll meet you at the monastery.
(rain pattering)
(thunder rumbling)
- This is the one.
(zipper buzzing)
- Hey Cloud, long time no see.
Looks like time hasn't
been very good to you.
Hey, Dave, I'll take it from here.
Brief me before we go to help Water.
- All right.
(Cloud groaning)
- Let's get outta here
before the storm roles in.
- Yes sir, where to?
- To the monastery.
(dramatic music)
(Cloud sighs)
(Cloud clears throat)
- Something wrong?
(muffled talking)
- Dave told me everything.
Just what were you doing at that bar?
- I can't remember much.
Just having a drink,
minding my own business.
- No I mean, what were you
doing there in the first place?
Were you there to meet Four11?
- Ha, yeah, funny.
No, I just wanted to be alone and think.
- And Four11 just happened to be there?
- Well, this nerdy guy
comes walking to the bar
wearing this trench coat and sunglasses.
Now odd thing was, he never took 'em off,
even in the darkened bar.
And he was kinda nervous.
Then Four11 enter, walk directly to him.
They must've known him too
because they called him Doc.
And then they start bullying
on the guy, harassing him.
I had to do something, so
I jumped in to save him.
- You just had to get involved.
- I had to do something.
I couldn't just let them
beat the crap outta the guy.
He even gave me a booster in the fight.
- Gotta grab a few more
things before we go.
- All right.
(Cloud groaning)
- What happened to Doc?
- He must've ran off during the fight.
I chased after him, but he was long gone.
(rain pattering)
(Cloud groaning)
- Let's pick up the pace.
Last thing I wanna do is
pick up pieces of Cloud.
- Yeah, yeah, real funny.
- Neil or should I call you Cloud?
You're absolutely glowing.
The epitome of health.
Ah, ah, leaving so soon?
- We're leaving fashionably early.
- With the guest of honor?
It's not gonna happen.
- Why do you want him so bad?
Why's he so important to you?
- Him, after everything that he's done?
Especially after what he did to my men.
But I see karma's already gotten to him.
- Stay back.
- Why are you trying to protect him?
- Because he's one of the elements.
He's one of us.
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
Go, run, I'll hold them off.
- Bolo.
Take care of this.
(Bolo chuckling)
(sirens wailing)
Shoot.
It's your lucky day.
Let's get outta here.
(dramatic music)
- Let's join forces.
We've worked together before,
we can work together again.
- And just what's in
it for the rest of us?
- You can help us find the Doc
and we can share the intel.
- Oh, just like the time you delivered us
Doc's lab assistant, Emma?
- We kept our end of the deal.
She is also a member of the elements.
You chose to squander the opportunity.
- She was useless.
She had nothing and neither do you.
(daggers clinking)
(thudding)
(slashing)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(suspenseful music)
(slashing)
Disable their GPS features.
We don't want anyone tracing
their bio signs here.
(dramatic music)
(flesh squishing)
Well, well, gentlemen.
What do we have here?
What are you doing here, hm?
- [Gold] What did you do with Doc?
- He outlived his
usefulness, just like Yen,
just like Emma, or what was
it you called her, Water?
(chuckling)
I'd say the same of you, but
you were never useful to us.
- [Wood] Let us deal with him.
- You!
(light dramatic music)
(Cloud panting)
(Cloud groaning)
(Cloud coughing)
(uplifting music)
- When did this begin?
- Ever since I helped that
guy they call the Doc.
He escaped the Four11
from the bar that night.
(Cloud groaning)
He gave me a booster shot and it's been
screwing with me ever since.
- Booster shot, where?
(Cloud groaning)
I don't think that was a booster.
That's probably what's
messing with your bioscanner.
- It's probably why
everyone's been after him.
Let them have him.
- Water, you're outta line.
- Am I?
Why didn't you tell the rest of us
that he was part of the Four11's?
- So, you know?
- Did you think I wouldn't figure it out?
She was my sister.
(Earth hushes)
- Four11's are close.
We gotta get moving.
(dramatic music)
- It's the code.
A code that was engineered in a lab
to produce clean air once release.
Doc injected it into him at the bar.
It's not meant for an individual.
Which is why Neil's
bioscanner is overloading.
He's dying.
- You killed my sister.
- I don't seem to recall
that, young woman.
She and I had an agreement.
We discovered she worked in
the lab and we had an agreement
that she would smuggle
the code out for us.
- Why would she even agree
to work with you guys?
- Young woman, your
sister acted honorably.
I don't mean to imply otherwise.
She understood we needed
the code for the sake
of my son's life, as well as everyone's.
She told me her lab found a
cure and she agreed to retrieve
it for us and when we heard on
the news that a woman's body
was found by the river, we
knew that must've been her.
His chi is running erratically.
We must act quickly.
I can help before it gets worse.
(thudding)
(suspenseful music)
- Sit down.
- You sure?
- Sit down, relax.
- Hello, Neil.
- Call to your chi.
- Here, now?
- It's okay, it's okay.
- You're among friends, Neil.
All has been forgiven.
We should take him with us.
The sooner we extract the
code the faster he will heal,
and the quicker we can produce clean air.
- No, he's meditating.
He can't be moved.
- You've gotta be kidding me.
So be it.
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(neck cracking)
- Cloud stays with us.
There's a reason the Doc
didn't give your men the code.
(silenced gunshots whizzing)
(Bolo groaning)
- Sorry, I couldn't.
(silenced gunshot whizzing)
- No, no!
You're okay.
You're gonna be okay.
We're gonna get the code finally.
Soon you'll be with our son.
Both happy and healthy.
(silenced gunshot whizzing)
(Lee groaning)
(zapping)
- Don't make this harder
than it needs to be.
Hand him over.
(dramatic music)
(men groaning)
What a spirit.
You can always join your
friend, the one you call Gold.
- Where is Gold?
- Dead.
- Who killed him, you?
- No.
- [Fire] That would be us.
- You?
- [Gold] You?
- Have fun boys, play nice.
- Traitors.
- And why should we be so loyal?
- This pays far better than hanging out
with a bunch of do-gooders.
- After everything Earth
and the Grandmaster
has done for you.
(Fire chuckling)
- Did you hear that?
Remind us, what all has he
done for us besides nothing?
- Except for the occasional bruising.
(chuckling)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(intense dramatic music)
(weapons clanking)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Fire gagging)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- You two will pay for your disloyalty.
(chuckling)
- Loyalty?
You lost our loyalty long ago.
- How?
Why?
- Why?
Why when we can have billions.
- We can decide who gets clean air or not.
- That's not the way of the element.
That's not how you were taught.
- Dude, we're just tired of being poor.
- Dude, did you just dude me?
- You have no one to blame but yourself.
- Me?
- That's right.
- [Fire] We just happened to
walk past your office when
Water was telling you
about her work at the lab.
- [Wood] You were a fool to pass on
such a lucrative opportunity.
- [Fire] So we cut a deal
with Marcus to retrieve
the intel and split the funds.
- [Wood] We informed
Marcus the moment she left.
- And the rest made the nightly news.
- If she only cooperated,
she'd still be alive,
but she wouldn't give up her research.
It's a shame.
- So Marcus had to do what he had to do.
- All this time I thought
it was Cloud to blame.
It was you two weasels?
- Oh so rich watching
you these last few years.
Especially when you never suspected us.
- Medican's not gonna let
you get away with this.
They're gonna send somebody for the code.
- Don't worry about Medican.
They're closed for business.
Now it's your turn to die.
(thudding)
(Water groaning)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Fire grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(bodies thudding)
- Contact your clan, we're gonna need
help getting outta here.
- Well, looks like Cloud
saved the day, again.
- [Water] Oh, shut up.
- Medican's been
liquidated and they left us
with their greatest asset.
The Earth is regenerating
clean air now, albeit slowly,
but still scientists estimate it'll only
take about a year for total recovery.
The code was delivered and
implemented successfully.
Free as a settlement
with the defunct Medican.
(dramatic music)
- [Wind] Hey Cloud.
Long time no see.
(Cloud groaning)
We do have lines here, but that's cool.
- [Cloud] Oh.
(Wind laughing)
I'm cold, I wanna get in.
- [Director] Action!
(groaning)
- No ax.
- No ax!
(Cloud laughing)
No!
- [Man] Wah, wah, wah, wah.
- I think that's good.
- Way to give it everything.
- [Director] Cut.
(crew laughing)
(Fire groaning)
- [Director] I was fine with that.
(grunting)
(crew laughing)
(grunting)
- [Man] Let's go, come on!
- [Cloud] TJ, what happened to you?
- So you the Doc?
You left it, oh, what's this?
I see you took it off already for us.
I see, thank you.
You gotta be...
- Cut.
- [Director] And action.
(pool cue thudding)
(crew laughing)
(groaning)
Keep going.
(muffled talking)
Three, go.
(crew laughing)
Three.
- [Man] We need to see your face.
(crew laughing)
- [Man] Medic!
- Pardon me?
- [Fire] Used to.
- Let me run that back.
(crew laughing)
- [Director] Go.
(crew laughing)
- [Man] Mother.
- [Man] Why you all get your a...
- [Director] Come on, go.
(man laughing)
Go ahead.
- [Water] It's locked, what the?
(man laughing)
- [Marcus] So what can you offer me?
- [Man] Absolutely nothing, say it.
(yelling over each other)
(crew laughing)
- And when we heard on the news.
- Quiet on the set.
(light dramatic music)
(ground crunching)
(suspenseful music)
(Cloud panting)
(bioscanner beeping)
(panting)
(booster hissing)
(sighing)
(light dramatic music)
(ground crunching)
(dagger thudding)
- Water.
- Cloud.
Always a pleasure.
(thudding)
(dagger slashing)
(groaning)
(thudding)
Hm, consider yourself lucky.
- Lucky?
- We're all replaceable,
don't forget that.
(silenced gunshot whizzing)
- [Cloud] Water.
(zapping)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
- [Earth] In our future, one simple breath
could mean life or death.
As we search for a solution,
pollution engulfs our world.
If we don't find an answer fast,
all living things shall perish.
Bioscanners have been embedded
into each human being.
They were created to
help produce clean air
for each individual,
but they are expensive
and third world countries are suffering.
Now, bioscanners are failing.
But a new code has been developed.
We are the five elements who
strive to protect humanity.
Years ago, many warriors
came to us seeking change
and joined our way of life.
Now, we must fight for our
lives to bring the code
to the world or die trying.
(panting)
(groaning)
- Damn.
(bioscanner beeping)
It's me, Cloud.
Something happened.
We need to meet.
When?
Where?
Okay.
(Cloud sighs)
(Cloud groans)
TV on.
(beeping)
- 10 million dead, yes
you heard that right.
The death toll now sits at 10 million.
The thinning of the ozone
layer and pollution levels
continue to increase across the globe
and scientists estimate
that in five to 10 years,
all living creatures may cease to exist,
unless a formula can be developed
and implemented immediately
to produce mass quantities
of clean air and repair
of frail upper atmosphere.
So far, third world countries
have suffered the most
with whole villages and towns dying.
But now the bioscanners for
Medican Research are failing.
They simply cannot keep
up with the rapid rise
of ultraviolet radiation and.
(water rushing)
People are getting sicker
and the CDC estimates
over 2/3 of the population
are now infected
with pollution related
diseases, especially the poor...
- What the?
(Cloud coughing)
(dramatic music)
- [Four11 Memeber] We got him.
Send a unit to pick up the body.
- [Four11 Memeber] We
gotta clean up this mess.
(car engine rumbling)
- Who are you guys?
What's going on?
(Cloud groaning)
(fists thudding)
- Hold this.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Cloud panting)
(tires screeching)
- Cloud.
- [Cloud] How'd you guys
know where to find me?
- Don't flatter yourself.
We were actually tracking Emma's killer.
Oddly enough, it lead to your apartment.
Got an explanation for that?
- [Cloud] I dunno.
- That's when we noticed you being
loaded into the ambulance.
So we followed you.
- This is Dr. Dave of the Wind's Clan.
He was asked to help out on
the investigation of Emma's killer.
Our old clan's leader.
- Um.
- You guys actually met.
At Earth's training school.
- Oh yeah, now I remember you.
How's Wind doing?
- He's doing well, Master Cloud.
- Great, I heard that he's
decided to move on with his life.
- That's right, he's
waiting for us at the dock.
We should get going.
- Great.
- Four11's.
What do they want with you?
- How do I know, I was just woke up here.
(Dr. Dave clearing throat)
(bioscanner beeping)
- The radiation levels are spiking.
We should get going.
- [Cloud] Great.
(Cloud groaning)
Oh, thank you.
(dramatic music)
(child coughing)
- [Woman] You all right?
You all right?
(child coughing)
- The cargo is lost.
How's our son holding up?
- [Ms. Swan] Weaker by
the hour, thanks to you.
That cargo was the key to his survival.
Find it.
- I don't want to start a war.
We can resolve this without violence.
- You've wasted years chasing
this diplomatic solution
of yours and you have
nothing to show for it.
And now, his time grows short.
If he dies, I promise you my wrath
will not be delayed or diplomatic.
- Our alliance with elements
has had some setbacks.
But I'm confident I can
get them to cooperate.
I just need a little more time.
I just...
(dart whooshing)
- [Ms. Swan] You've cost us time.
There's not much left.
Retrieve the package, and coerce
the elements to cooperate.
Our son's life depends on it.
And so does yours.
That needle shall remain lodged
in you until he is saved.
(suspenseful music)
(Lee groaning)
- Sir, should I call
the doctor like before?
- Yeah, but later.
Not until our work is done.
(Lee groaning)
(zapping)
(dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- We're too late.
There's no trace of anyone.
Okay.
(ambulance door slamming)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Gold chuckling)
- You've gotten flabby.
Too many carbs?
(thudding)
(groaning)
Is that all you got?
- Oh, Gold.
You better cool it down a bit.
You're the Gold that
trained with us before.
You never know what's up Wood's sleave.
- Out the old, come the new.
He retired last year
and the elders choose me
to be the new leader of our Gold Clan.
I guess he found peace.
Now I'm the new Gold and...
(Fire chuckling)
- Maybe your elders
are just trying to test you.
- You talk way too much.
(staff clicking)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(grunting)
(Gold chuckling)
- Little boy.
- I will own you!
- Okay, thanks for the update.
(bioscanner beeping)
(Earth sighs)
(Gold chuckling)
- [Wood] Whatever man, you know I could've
taken you out with one blow, right?
- [Gold] But you didn't now, did you?
- [Fire] Amateurs, I could have taken you
both out in a heartbeat.
(light dramatic music)
- Cloud called, I think he's in trouble.
I sent Dave of the Wind Clan
and Water to lend him a hand
and keep him safe.
I want you three to go.
They may need your help.
- The current bioscanner
devices from Medican corporation
are failing as both the
radiation and air pollution
increase across the globe,
with third world countries
feeling the brunt of it.
- People are getting sicker,
they're dying because
the bioscanners can't keep up
and no one's unscathed, not even here.
- Right, the entire population is infected
and 25% of that have already died.
You should constantly check
your bioscanners and please
remember to stay indoors
when radiation level peaks.
- That's right and politicians,
they remain in session until
they can come up with a plan
for the next steps to take.
- [Women Reporter] Medican's stocks plunge
as news emerges of Congress
calling for a grand jury
investigation of their bioscanners.
- [Male Reporter] And current
Medican CEO, Mr. Steve Costa,
he's received billions from
countries around the world
to develop an advanced
upgrade to those bioscanners,
but so far he's failed to deliver.
So can we explain to
the viewer at least how
that new update is supposed to work?
- [Woman Reporter] Yes.
So, if it worked properly,
it's a non-invasive upgrade
that gets installed like
software at any Medican facility.
It increases the
algorithm speed to keep up
with the rising pollution levels.
And when a person goes to sleep,
it recharges while still protecting you.
- [Male Reporter] It's
actually 24 hours a day,
but there is a catch.
- Good morning, Mr. Costa.
- Yes, there is.
Despite billions that Medican
received to develop a cure.
- Did you see this?
The shareholders are gonna have my ass.
Now who the hell leaked the upgrade?
- I don't...
- I need you to do some
damage control and
contain any further leaks.
Has the research department
cracked the biometric code yet?
And send the Doc up to see me.
- He, he left.
He left.
- What?
What do you mean he left?
(crashing)
You know who to call.
I want the Doc returned
to Medican, he's ours.
The shareholders will show no mercy,
and neither will I.
(dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- I've got a job for you.
(beeping)
(hip hop music)
She said see it at the school
The dojo, solo
Your child says this verse
- You expecting somebody?
- Uh, I called for a ride.
- Yeah, most people do that
after they had a few drinks.
You know, it's kind of a bar thing.
- I'll take a soda.
- Oh, soda.
Gave 'em a way out
What's that all about?
- [Bartender] Got it.
He was good
They kicked Santa and
he flew back like whoa
- All right.
Why you stressin
Many students left with
him 'cause he was infected
- What is this?
- What you ordered.
A soda.
- I meant like Cola.
- Oh, all right.
Yeah, a Cola, good.
But that bitch got slapped
- [Bartender] Like a Cola, yeah, okay.
You gotta leave or apologize
That's cool 'cause your school
is about to get downsized
- All right.
One soda.
- [Doc] Oh, can I get a wedge of lime?
- Oh, a wedge of lime.
Okay, yeah.
A wedge of lime.
Right there.
- [Doc] Oh.
- Do you want me to dim the music?
You know, yeah, dim the the lights?
Make it a little more comfortable for you.
- Uh, no thanks, I'm fine.
- All right, yeah.
Enjoy yourself.
God, freakin' cheapskate.
(dramatic music)
- So uh, you the Doc?
Ah, what we we have here?
(bioscanner beeping)
Yeah, we got him.
Come on.
- Why don't you mind your own business
if you know what's good for ya.
- Four on one, not playing fair now.
(thudding)
(bioscanner beeping)
(thudding)
(men groaning)
(booster hissing)
Thank you.
(pool cue thudding)
(thudding)
(men groaning)
(light dramatic music)
- You guys got here fast.
I didn't hear the sirens.
Some guy ordered a soda
and all shit hit the...
(gunshot banging)
(people screaming)
(gunshots banging)
- No, leave them alone.
Let 'em take the fall when the cops come.
- Yes, sir.
(bioscanner beeping)
- Docs been through here.
- Sir, he's not far from here.
- Well then, let's go gram him.
- Hey, slow down, what's the rush?
- Thanks for your help back there,
but I was doing just fine on my own.
- It's not about you.
We were tracking Emma's killer.
- You just happened to be there.
- Yes, quite odd how you just happened
to be in the same
vicinity as Emma's killer.
Funny how you just keep popping up.
Those Four11's could have
killed you and they didn't.
Why?
What do you they want with you?
- I have no idea what the
Four11 want to do with me.
- Bullshit!
- I don't know!
- You know, there's a fine
line between being unhelpful
and obstruction of justice.
- Now what is that supposed to mean?
- She already told you.
We were investigating Emma's
murder when you were being
loaded into the ambulance
and to prevent having another
dead clansman on our
hands, we followed you.
- Really wanna know what happened?
Fine, I'll tell you.
But you're not gonna like it.
(Cloud sighs)
A few years ago my boss at
the time had, well still has a
very sick son who is drastically
affected by the radiation.
He had asked me to
infiltrate the elements.
He said he'd heard you were in possession
of the green stone that
could cure his son.
They knew Emma was the
leader of the Water clan
and knew where I would bump into her.
I built a relationship to get in.
- You used her?
- No.
- You used my sister?
- No, please hear me out.
I trained hard and emerged
with the ways of the elements.
I learned so much from you about respect
and honor and about myself.
I really enjoyed living
among the elements so much,
I almost forgot about my original mission.
But I was soon confronted
with the reality of things.
Although Earth and Grandmaster
permitted me to join
the elements after passing my initiation,
Earth kept his eyes on me at all time.
They were always on to me.
(suspenseful music)
I renounced the Four11 and pledged
my loyalty exclusively to the elements.
While he did not agree with
my handling of the situation,
he understood that I only
did it for the child.
Earth asked me to keep
the pretense with my boss.
Basically, making me a double agent,
so he could have access to
the intel on the Four11's.
Lee, my ex-boss was getting impatient
with my progress and demanded answers.
I told him he had been wrong.
That the elements didn't
have a green stone.
They had evidence of their own.
They had found out that
I had changed sides.
Traitors are slain.
I was to be executed.
(dramatic music)
- We don't tolerate traitors.
Get him!
(thudding)
(groaning)
(crunching)
(Cloud coughing)
- Hold it!
(Cloud coughing)
(Cloud groaning)
- [Cloud] Son of a bitch.
- Hurts, doesn't it?
But you are strong.
You might actually survive
a beating like this.
That's not a chance I'm willing to take.
Traitors deserve to die.
- No, no, no.
- Slow and painful.
- [Cloud] No.
No!
- And alone!
- No!
(flesh squishing)
(Cloud groaning)
(Lee grunting)
- There, that oughta do it.
(light dramatic music)
- [Cloud] I was sure
as much left for dead,
and I thought I was going to die.
I wish I was.
Somehow, he saved me.
- I wanted to kill everyone
involved in Emma's murder.
But Earth calmed me down
and convinced me to find
her actual killer and
bring him to justice.
You, you are to blame.
If it wasn't for you Emma
would still be alive!
- I didn't kill her.
- No, I suspect Four11's
were involved, I'm not sure.
And you may have not directly killed her,
but your selfish ways lead
to her death indirectly.
- I...
(slapping)
(fists thudding)
(Water grunting)
- Enough, enough.
(bioscanner beeping)
- Where are you?
- We're nearly there.
We're at the garden.
- You still have a long walk ahead of you.
Don't delay and don't stop.
Not even for rest.
I've sent Gold, Wood and Fire to you.
They should reach you
soon, but stay alert.
That area isn't safe.
Get to the monastery as soon as possible.
- There was a brutal massacre
here at the Shadows bar.
There is currently reports
of multiple injured and several dead.
Currently the police have no leads
on any suspects at this time.
If anyone has any information
regarding this crime,
do not hesitate to contact the police.
(thudding)
(grunting)
(ominous music)
- He hasn't talked yet.
Apparently he's got some major cojones.
(mercenaries chuckling)
- It was too easy to track you down.
Didn't you know we'd
hunt you and find you?
And why aren't you talking now?
(thudding)
We tore apart your bioscanner
and couldn't find the code.
We know you have it.
Where is it?
- You'll never find it.
It's not yours to have.
The code belongs to the world and...
- No, the code belongs to Medican.
- I developed it.
It's mine to do with as I please.
- Now, that's not what your contract says.
Medican pays you, therefore
they own your work.
They also pay me so when
fools like you decide
to do something stupid I...
- Everyone I the world deserves the code.
You don't get to decide
who lives and dies.
- Sir, there seems to have been someone
who left the bar before your arrived.
- Well, go track him down.
- Yes, sir.
- What should I do with him?
- Whatever's necessary.
BJ, he's all yours.
(chuckling)
- Now, now, now.
The game is about to begin.
Where should I start?
- No, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no,
no!
(Doc screaming)
(dramatic music)
- Here.
- Will this still work?
It's been over three days.
- Yes, as long as its
been within seven days,
the residual can still be
found through his energy flow.
(whirring)
(bioscanner beeping)
That was Dave.
It seems the Four11's
have an interest in Cloud.
- Why?
- No one knows.
But Cloud is now safe with Water and Dave.
They're heading back to the warehouse.
- We should split up.
Call Earth and report your findings.
Track the mercenaries,
but keep your distance.
Just observe.
Remember, it's only you.
We'll hunt down the Four11's
and see what they're up to.
- What'd Cloud get himself into this time?
- Who knows, but this is huge.
I wonder who this Doc is and why did he
decide to give a boost to Cloud?
It appears there's more
questions than answers.
(Fire sighs)
(dramatic music)
(floor creaking)
- Hey Earth, I'm back as you asked.
Can you tell me what's going on?
It seems that both Four11's and
mercenaries are after Cloud.
No one seems to know why.
- I think it's happening.
Everything that we've been
training for is coming to a head,
and somehow Cloud's the key.
- Whoa.
- And we don't even know
who killed Water yet.
- Wait, Water's dead?
- No, Water's sister Emma,
the previous Clan leader.
- It's be so long I had nearly
forgotten that she filled in.
- Yeah.
Find out who these mercenaries
are, but be careful.
- I'm good.
Don't worry about me.
(dramatic music)
- Is something troubling you, Earth?
- I think our clan may
have gotten involved
in the current political turmoil.
But we may be the only
ones to save them all.
- Sometime one needs
to intervene to correct
not only one's path, but for
all to seek a better path.
(dramatic music)
(child coughing)
- Yen, it's good seeing you again.
Welcome home.
It's been a while.
She's expecting you.
This way.
(child coughing)
- Hello, Yen.
I hear you have vital news?
- Doc may have given the code to Neil.
- No.
So the one who not only failed
to find the green stone,
but turned against us
now stands in our way.
Great.
He's caused many problems
dragging the elements into this.
By turning his back on his mission, on me.
I want that code at any cost.
My son's life depends on it.
Word has it you're good at what you do.
Prove it.
- Doc and Neil may have since parted ways.
Doc may be in the hands of mercenaries.
- Well, perhaps we should
follow both the Doc and Neil.
We need to find the code
before it's too late.
There's no telling who
has it at this point.
- [Ms. Swan] Agreed.
Yen, you check with Doc
and the mercenaries.
They might have him captive.
Lee, track down the traitor.
Find Neil.
Now!
(dramatic music)
(motorcycle engine revving)
(people talking over each other)
He thinks you're ignorant I think
I thought you don't believe
(muffled talking)
And what do you remember
Look, I love you
I said it
Come here to deliver the news
You need my advice
- Keep your distance from the elements.
We're neutral and don't want any trouble,
but we will take a stand
if your provoke us.
(chuckling)
- You think you're a match for my men?
- You don't wanna know
what we're capable of.
- Lay off of Cloud or we're
gonna be forced to intervene.
- [Marcus] Is that a threat?
- You think we're joking?
Try us.
- Another empty threat.
We have weapons of mass
destruction against
your tiny hands and swords.
We also have guns.
- Do you think we get
intimidated very easily?
- [Wood] So what do you
want with Cloud anyway?
- You know that bar that's
been on the television lately?
It's an illusion, he's here
- I was hired to track
this guy they call Doc.
He used to work for the
people that hired me.
- Used to?
- Well, he ran off and
stole some proprietary
technology that wasn't his to take.
- So what does this have to do with Cloud?
- Someone else was also tracking him.
The Four11's were also at the bar.
Someone took them out,
but they left them alive.
- I thought the news said
there were no survivors?
- Everyone was dead when I got there.
Except for the Four11's.
I figure, why not let them take the fall?
- What do you know of Cloud's
involvement in all this?
- I suspect he was also tracking Doc
or maybe he just happened
to be at the wrong place
at the wrong time, but I doubt that.
Do you know his whereabouts?
- [Fire] The bar, that's all we know.
- Maybe we could work together.
I just wanna retrieve that
stolen piece of technology.
- That'd be something
we discuss with Earth.
Either way, we're not giving
up any of our members.
That's out of the question.
Weak and strong, I know
- What if I told you I had
some discerning information
regarding one of your members.
- You're bluffing.
So you can be humble
- Who?
- The one you call Water.
- [Wood] She's perfectly fine.
- Is she though?
- What do you know about her?
- Plenty.
- We're still investigating that matter.
I highly doubt you'd have
anything to contribute.
- He doesn't have anything
we don't already know.
I'm good at
I doubt it
I'm here to deliver the news
And you need my advice
- Well.
- So what is it you want with Cloud?
- He and Doc must have linked
up at the bar and then slipped
him the stolen piece of
technology without him knowing.
- So how would he know
if he has this on him?
- He wouldn't.
So, what can you offer me?
(dramatic music)
- So Neil is in the middle of all this.
I have to find him before they do.
(engine rumbling)
Tonight I'm going to the party
- Well, guess who that was?
(dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- You know the more I think about it,
the more I think the Four11's killed Emma.
- I don't think so.
- How do you know?
Are you covering for your friends?
- They're not my friends.
They never were.
- Yeah right.
- It was just a job.
- And my sister was part of the job?
You know, maybe you killed her.
- I could never.
The elements are the only family I have.
- I don't trust you.
- That's in the past.
- And so is my sister.
(Dr. Dave panting)
- They're here.
- Who?
- The Four11's.
We have to keep moving.
(Cloud groaning)
Let's go.
(dramatic music)
- [Four11 Member] Surrender
the one you call Cloud.
- I thought you cut ties with these guys?
- Doesn't look like it, now does it?
- Who are you?
TJ, what happened to you?
- Friendships come at a cost, Neil.
Especially when your friend betrays you
and defects to the enemy.
- TJ, I'm sorry.
- I'll show you sorry.
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- [Four11 Member] Let's go!
(Cloud coughing)
- I think he's running a fever.
(bioscanner beeping)
- Take him to the monastery.
His bioscanner's not working properly.
(Cloud coughing)
Gold, you said the Doc slipped
him something in your vision?
Wood, Fire, follow the mercenaries.
They more than likely have Doc.
Find out what Doc did to Cloud.
Gold, follow the Four11,
but do not engage.
They outnumber you.
(Cloud panting)
- If it's worth anything,
Emma meant a lot to me.
- Don't you ever mention her again.
You are not worthy to speak of her,
let alone say her name.
- Guys, guys just stop it already.
We need to get Cloud to the base
so we can him some medical attention.
- [Water] Why don't we
just leave him to die?
- Look, regardless of
what you might think,
I didn't kill your sister.
- You might as well have.
You may have not laid a hand on her,
but I blame you just the same.
- Just stop it already, that's enough.
What's done is done.
(Cloud coughing)
We can't change the past.
Let it go.
- Okay.
- Let's rest here.
Conserve your energy.
- All right, okay.
(Cloud groaning)
- He's ours.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(silenced gunshots whizzing)
(light dramatic music)
(body thudding)
- Jump.
It's me.
(thudding)
(groaning)
Go, I got this.
(grunting)
- [Man] Anytime now.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- [Man] Hey punk!
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Cloud panting)
(Cloud groaning)
(light dramatic music)
(bioscanner beeping)
- Damn!
Water, can you hear me?
Wind?
Damn.
(dramatic music)
- Neil, you seem lost.
Come with us.
We'll show you the way.
- [Cloud] I appreciate the offer,
but I think I'll pass.
- We insist.
(thudding)
(groaning)
- Get off me.
(fist thudding)
- I don't think you understand.
I'm not giving you a choice.
You're coming with us.
Come on.
(intense dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
Gonna rethink that offer?
(thudding)
(groaning)
(man spitting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- You picked the wrong side.
- How would you know?
You left us.
- I had my reasons.
I thought you were better than that.
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Cloud grunting)
(intense dramatic music)
(man grunting)
(Cloud gasping)
Took you long enough.
Next time, don't wait for a
dramatic entrance to show up.
- [Water] Try calling.
- I did.
My bioscanner must be malfunctioning.
I think it's effected by
whatever's happening to me.
- Oh, let's keep moving.
This way toward the lake.
Wind and our clansmen are waiting for us.
- I have to go report to my
clan before things get worse.
I'll meet you at the monastery.
(rain pattering)
(thunder rumbling)
- This is the one.
(zipper buzzing)
- Hey Cloud, long time no see.
Looks like time hasn't
been very good to you.
Hey, Dave, I'll take it from here.
Brief me before we go to help Water.
- All right.
(Cloud groaning)
- Let's get outta here
before the storm roles in.
- Yes sir, where to?
- To the monastery.
(dramatic music)
(Cloud sighs)
(Cloud clears throat)
- Something wrong?
(muffled talking)
- Dave told me everything.
Just what were you doing at that bar?
- I can't remember much.
Just having a drink,
minding my own business.
- No I mean, what were you
doing there in the first place?
Were you there to meet Four11?
- Ha, yeah, funny.
No, I just wanted to be alone and think.
- And Four11 just happened to be there?
- Well, this nerdy guy
comes walking to the bar
wearing this trench coat and sunglasses.
Now odd thing was, he never took 'em off,
even in the darkened bar.
And he was kinda nervous.
Then Four11 enter, walk directly to him.
They must've known him too
because they called him Doc.
And then they start bullying
on the guy, harassing him.
I had to do something, so
I jumped in to save him.
- You just had to get involved.
- I had to do something.
I couldn't just let them
beat the crap outta the guy.
He even gave me a booster in the fight.
- Gotta grab a few more
things before we go.
- All right.
(Cloud groaning)
- What happened to Doc?
- He must've ran off during the fight.
I chased after him, but he was long gone.
(rain pattering)
(Cloud groaning)
- Let's pick up the pace.
Last thing I wanna do is
pick up pieces of Cloud.
- Yeah, yeah, real funny.
- Neil or should I call you Cloud?
You're absolutely glowing.
The epitome of health.
Ah, ah, leaving so soon?
- We're leaving fashionably early.
- With the guest of honor?
It's not gonna happen.
- Why do you want him so bad?
Why's he so important to you?
- Him, after everything that he's done?
Especially after what he did to my men.
But I see karma's already gotten to him.
- Stay back.
- Why are you trying to protect him?
- Because he's one of the elements.
He's one of us.
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
Go, run, I'll hold them off.
- Bolo.
Take care of this.
(Bolo chuckling)
(sirens wailing)
Shoot.
It's your lucky day.
Let's get outta here.
(dramatic music)
- Let's join forces.
We've worked together before,
we can work together again.
- And just what's in
it for the rest of us?
- You can help us find the Doc
and we can share the intel.
- Oh, just like the time you delivered us
Doc's lab assistant, Emma?
- We kept our end of the deal.
She is also a member of the elements.
You chose to squander the opportunity.
- She was useless.
She had nothing and neither do you.
(daggers clinking)
(thudding)
(slashing)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(suspenseful music)
(slashing)
Disable their GPS features.
We don't want anyone tracing
their bio signs here.
(dramatic music)
(flesh squishing)
Well, well, gentlemen.
What do we have here?
What are you doing here, hm?
- [Gold] What did you do with Doc?
- He outlived his
usefulness, just like Yen,
just like Emma, or what was
it you called her, Water?
(chuckling)
I'd say the same of you, but
you were never useful to us.
- [Wood] Let us deal with him.
- You!
(light dramatic music)
(Cloud panting)
(Cloud groaning)
(Cloud coughing)
(uplifting music)
- When did this begin?
- Ever since I helped that
guy they call the Doc.
He escaped the Four11
from the bar that night.
(Cloud groaning)
He gave me a booster shot and it's been
screwing with me ever since.
- Booster shot, where?
(Cloud groaning)
I don't think that was a booster.
That's probably what's
messing with your bioscanner.
- It's probably why
everyone's been after him.
Let them have him.
- Water, you're outta line.
- Am I?
Why didn't you tell the rest of us
that he was part of the Four11's?
- So, you know?
- Did you think I wouldn't figure it out?
She was my sister.
(Earth hushes)
- Four11's are close.
We gotta get moving.
(dramatic music)
- It's the code.
A code that was engineered in a lab
to produce clean air once release.
Doc injected it into him at the bar.
It's not meant for an individual.
Which is why Neil's
bioscanner is overloading.
He's dying.
- You killed my sister.
- I don't seem to recall
that, young woman.
She and I had an agreement.
We discovered she worked in
the lab and we had an agreement
that she would smuggle
the code out for us.
- Why would she even agree
to work with you guys?
- Young woman, your
sister acted honorably.
I don't mean to imply otherwise.
She understood we needed
the code for the sake
of my son's life, as well as everyone's.
She told me her lab found a
cure and she agreed to retrieve
it for us and when we heard on
the news that a woman's body
was found by the river, we
knew that must've been her.
His chi is running erratically.
We must act quickly.
I can help before it gets worse.
(thudding)
(suspenseful music)
- Sit down.
- You sure?
- Sit down, relax.
- Hello, Neil.
- Call to your chi.
- Here, now?
- It's okay, it's okay.
- You're among friends, Neil.
All has been forgiven.
We should take him with us.
The sooner we extract the
code the faster he will heal,
and the quicker we can produce clean air.
- No, he's meditating.
He can't be moved.
- You've gotta be kidding me.
So be it.
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(neck cracking)
- Cloud stays with us.
There's a reason the Doc
didn't give your men the code.
(silenced gunshots whizzing)
(Bolo groaning)
- Sorry, I couldn't.
(silenced gunshot whizzing)
- No, no!
You're okay.
You're gonna be okay.
We're gonna get the code finally.
Soon you'll be with our son.
Both happy and healthy.
(silenced gunshot whizzing)
(Lee groaning)
(zapping)
- Don't make this harder
than it needs to be.
Hand him over.
(dramatic music)
(men groaning)
What a spirit.
You can always join your
friend, the one you call Gold.
- Where is Gold?
- Dead.
- Who killed him, you?
- No.
- [Fire] That would be us.
- You?
- [Gold] You?
- Have fun boys, play nice.
- Traitors.
- And why should we be so loyal?
- This pays far better than hanging out
with a bunch of do-gooders.
- After everything Earth
and the Grandmaster
has done for you.
(Fire chuckling)
- Did you hear that?
Remind us, what all has he
done for us besides nothing?
- Except for the occasional bruising.
(chuckling)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(intense dramatic music)
(weapons clanking)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Fire gagging)
(thudding)
(groaning)
- You two will pay for your disloyalty.
(chuckling)
- Loyalty?
You lost our loyalty long ago.
- How?
Why?
- Why?
Why when we can have billions.
- We can decide who gets clean air or not.
- That's not the way of the element.
That's not how you were taught.
- Dude, we're just tired of being poor.
- Dude, did you just dude me?
- You have no one to blame but yourself.
- Me?
- That's right.
- [Fire] We just happened to
walk past your office when
Water was telling you
about her work at the lab.
- [Wood] You were a fool to pass on
such a lucrative opportunity.
- [Fire] So we cut a deal
with Marcus to retrieve
the intel and split the funds.
- [Wood] We informed
Marcus the moment she left.
- And the rest made the nightly news.
- If she only cooperated,
she'd still be alive,
but she wouldn't give up her research.
It's a shame.
- So Marcus had to do what he had to do.
- All this time I thought
it was Cloud to blame.
It was you two weasels?
- Oh so rich watching
you these last few years.
Especially when you never suspected us.
- Medican's not gonna let
you get away with this.
They're gonna send somebody for the code.
- Don't worry about Medican.
They're closed for business.
Now it's your turn to die.
(thudding)
(Water groaning)
(dramatic music)
(thudding)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(Fire grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(grunting)
(thudding)
(groaning)
(bodies thudding)
- Contact your clan, we're gonna need
help getting outta here.
- Well, looks like Cloud
saved the day, again.
- [Water] Oh, shut up.
- Medican's been
liquidated and they left us
with their greatest asset.
The Earth is regenerating
clean air now, albeit slowly,
but still scientists estimate it'll only
take about a year for total recovery.
The code was delivered and
implemented successfully.
Free as a settlement
with the defunct Medican.
(dramatic music)
- [Wind] Hey Cloud.
Long time no see.
(Cloud groaning)
We do have lines here, but that's cool.
- [Cloud] Oh.
(Wind laughing)
I'm cold, I wanna get in.
- [Director] Action!
(groaning)
- No ax.
- No ax!
(Cloud laughing)
No!
- [Man] Wah, wah, wah, wah.
- I think that's good.
- Way to give it everything.
- [Director] Cut.
(crew laughing)
(Fire groaning)
- [Director] I was fine with that.
(grunting)
(crew laughing)
(grunting)
- [Man] Let's go, come on!
- [Cloud] TJ, what happened to you?
- So you the Doc?
You left it, oh, what's this?
I see you took it off already for us.
I see, thank you.
You gotta be...
- Cut.
- [Director] And action.
(pool cue thudding)
(crew laughing)
(groaning)
Keep going.
(muffled talking)
Three, go.
(crew laughing)
Three.
- [Man] We need to see your face.
(crew laughing)
- [Man] Medic!
- Pardon me?
- [Fire] Used to.
- Let me run that back.
(crew laughing)
- [Director] Go.
(crew laughing)
- [Man] Mother.
- [Man] Why you all get your a...
- [Director] Come on, go.
(man laughing)
Go ahead.
- [Water] It's locked, what the?
(man laughing)
- [Marcus] So what can you offer me?
- [Man] Absolutely nothing, say it.
(yelling over each other)
(crew laughing)
- And when we heard on the news.
- Quiet on the set.
