Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir (2026) Movie Script

1
Man: How are you today?
- Paris: Amazing.
[speaks indistinctly]
[crowd cheering]
You're gonna freak out.
So much sick footage, VHS tapes.
I finally got a place
like that could digitize them.
I was, like, literally crying,
like watching all this last night.
Like Bruce is gonna [bleep]
freak out when he sees this shit.
It's so good. It's so beautiful.
It's so, like, raw and real.
And it just, like,
made me remember, like,
who I was before,
like the world,
like, tried to like,
take that away from me.
[crying] That made me emotional too.
Crazy watching all that.
Just remembering like
how confident I was and free.
And I didn't care
what anyone said.
[sniffles]
And I don't know.
Now it's like... It's hard.
'Cause people are so judgmental.
Even with this concert,
I'm so nervous. [Sniffles]
It's just a lot of pressure
to like, do all this.
Plus, with Provo and Ascent
and these schools,
they would make us do
so much manual labor and be
carrying giant boulders and logs
and like 200 pound backpacks
for months in the...
In the mountains and the snow.
And my back is so
[bleep] since I'm a kid.
And it's just... It's a lot.
[melancholy theme playing]
This is what
they make kids do still
in the troubled teen industry.
It's affected me my whole
entire life, and I'll never...
My body was still
forming at that age, so...
Man: Got the heat pad on?
- The heat pad is on, yeah.
Man:
Good.
Is there anything specific
for like lower back?
Just because that's where it
starts hurting the most.
It's just... It's hard
to do certain things.
Just like every time
I bend down,
which I do
a lot of times in the show,
it hurts so bad.
Every time I'm walking,
I'm just in serious pain.
You feel okay?
- My back is just hurting.
- Oh, I'm sorry. -I just wanted to,
like, try the stairs with the heels.
I think I love these, but the
dancer ones just for my back.
Let's do-let's do the dance
ones for right now. For sure.
Paris:
This is my dream.
This is what I wanted
to do my whole life.
And just to try
to be confident.
Like if I can't,
I feel like I will...
If I go inside right now,
I won't be able to talk.
So I'm just trying to do it now
while I'm like real
and not going into character
with people around.
Um...
- [melancholy theme playing]
But I just want to be real
for this documentary
because I don't want it
to be just so vague.
And I just got really
emotional last night.
I just thought
about it so much.
And I just... [sighs]
I'm just so grateful
that I found Carter,
and he's just made my life
so amazing.
I just feel like I can
[bleep] soar now
because I have nothing
to worry about.
And I have someone
who's lifting me up
higher than I've
ever been lifted in my life.
That's just really incredible.
Honey, half the songs
are written about you.
Carter: Oh.
- [indistinct chatter]
[music starts]
White platform boots
that you hated
Red lipstick you tolerated
No, I'm not your property
You stole my voice
like robbery
Welcome back
Bitch, you've been missed
Welcome back
Where have you been?
Welcome back
I thought I lost you
I thought I lost you
Welcome back
Bitch, you been missed
Welcome back
Give me a kiss
Welcome back
I thought I lost you
Welcome back, bitch
Director:
And roll playback.
Too many guys
that treat me like you do
Paris:
Welcome back, bitches, indeed.
And welcome to
mylnfinite Icon film.
But when I walk...
- So here's the thing.
I wanted this film to
essentially be a visual memoir
of my life through music.
That means
you're about to experience
the inside of my brain,
which means we're going
to jump around a lot.
[rewind whirring]
First up, let's talk about
my favorite thing ever...
Music. Why music?
Well, let me be clear.
Music saved my life.
[dramatic theme playing]
But let's back up a minute.
[kids singing indistinctly]
Man:
Star, you play too.
Man:
Boy, were you guys great.
Paris: I've loved music
my entire life.
Ever since I was a little girl.
Mom: What's your name again?
- Paula Abdul.
I always loved to sing
and dance and perform.
This music just brought me
so much happiness
and just so many memories.
I can hear a song and just,
like, immediately be
transported back
to that moment.
[giggles]
Of course,
when I was a teenager
then I started loving it
even more.
Just like going through things
in life, like a breakup.
I remember just like listening
to Gwen Stefani
singing that song
"Don't Speak,"
and like bawling in tears.
I don't even remember who I
broke up with or what happened,
but I just remember
being so heartbroken.
And how when I would
listen to a song,
it would heal me in some way.
And then when I went
into the club scene,
that's when I started loving it
on an even deeper level,
just because it was just
like an escape from pain
and trauma and kind of going
into this other world where I
didn't have to think about
anything sad or bad or scary.
[album clicking]
In 2006,
I dropped my first album.
It was calledParis
because duh!
And people were like,
wait, Paris Hilton singing?
Some were confused,
some were obsessed.
But me, I was just living
my best pop star dream.
[dance music playing]
A dream I've had
since I was a child.
All those childhood
performances, music lessons,
not to mention all the nights
out at the clubs, listening,
dancing, feeling the music.
They all led me here.
Thankfully,
that album did really well.
It hit number six on the top
US album charts and was a top
ten hit
in many other countries.
And then, of course,
"Stars Are Blind" became
the big breakout song.
I remember I had to like fight
with the team because they
wanted to have another single
come out, and I was like, no,
it has to be "Stars Are Blind."
And everyone's like,
it's reggae.
Like, that should be
like the third single.
Like they wanted me to go,
I think with like, "Turn It Up."
But I said, that's so expected.
People are going to expect
a song like "Turn It Up," like
this kind of dance party song.
Like I want
to go like the opposite.
I loved the words and I loved
the way the song made me feel,
and I just felt like it was
that type of song that
would have a lasting impact.
And that was right.
What's up? It's Paris Hilton
here making the video.
"Stars Are Blind."
Director:
And... action!
["Stars Are Blind" playing]
So far everything's great.
We got everything we needed to
before the sun went down.
Paris is on.
My name is Chris Applebaum.
I am a music video director.
TV commercial director.
I started so long ago.
I, um, know you can Google me
and find out how old I am.
Back in the day, I, um,
was lucky enough to meet Paris
and do some great stuff
with her.
I'll show you my...
Applebaum: It was interesting
because at that time
there were people that
were doing gimmicks, right?
So Lindsay Lohan, she never sang
anything in her entire life.
And she's an actress.
And she came out
with a single and a video,
and I think everybody felt
like that was disingenuous.
Paris: Hold up.
Just so we're clear,
this is not me
throwing shade at Lindsay
or anyone for that matter.
I love Lindsay.
Chris is just
painting a picture
of what life was like
for all of us
back in the early 2000s.
Tearing down young,
glamorous women
was pretty much
entertainment back then,
but we'll
get into all that later.
When we get to Paris,
I was just worried that
this was the same
kind of situation.
[dramatic theme playing]
Like, how risky is that,
knowing that
the entire public has like,
lambasted all these
other actresses,
how could Paris
want to take that sort of risk?
And you can't come back from it.
It's a face tattoo.
I was concerned that
this was like a gimmick.
- I'm gonna have to, like,
really push you hard. -Yeah.
- You're gonna have to work
really hard on this. -I want to.
Applebaum: I was over at
her house in Sunset Plaza.
She said, I am ready
to take this risk.
I'm ready to do it.
Like I want people
to know that like I,
you know, am a...
I'm a singer.
I'm a musician.
This is a passion.
So I agreed and I said,
let's make this great.
[dramatic theme playing]
Applebaum: Everyone,
that is a wrap for Paris Hilton.
Now fast forward 20 years,
people come to me and say,
say, my God, Chris, that was
one of your best music videos.
That was so iconic. That was
beautiful. It was so pretty.
But nobody was allowed to say
that for like 10 or 15 years,
because Paris was still
in that category of blond bimbo
not to be taken seriously.
Paris: Photoshoots are the hardest part.
- Applebaum: Is it really?
Paris:
Whatever. I'm a hard worker.
This is something I love to do,
so I don't mind.
[dramatic theme playing]
Applebaum: Did you know that
everybody was sort of like,
I don't know
if Paris is a real artist?
Paris: Most of my career,
before people knew
I was playing a character,
I haven't been taken seriously.
Yeah.
- Which I can totally understand
because the character
just seemed like,
you know, this kind of like,
bubbly airhead and like
this socialite who doesn't
care anything about except shopping
and whatever. -Applebaum: Right.
Paris: So they didn't know
the real me inside.
Man 1: Glamorous.
- Man 2: I love your hat.
Paris:
The media at that time
was just so cruel
and vicious to girls.
Applebaum: Yeah, absolutely.
- Paris: Especially myself.
Paris: Yep. These are the kind
of headlines I had to deal with.
At least that part's real.
Anyway, we'll get back to that.
Man 1: Paris, look at me right here.
- Man 2: Che bella, Paris.
They would always just try
to focus on...
- Oh, she's a party girl.
She dances on tables. -Sure.
She has a tape, like, just...
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, shit that doesn't have
anything to do with the music.
But I just felt that, you know,
just because of my last name,
people would be judgmental.
- Right.
[paparazzi clamoring]
[shutters clicking]
[somber theme playing]
Ditum: I'm Sarah Ditum,
author of the book
Toxic: Women, Fame,
and the Tabloid 2000s.
When Paris moved into music,
I think it was seen
by lots of people
as being as someone
who already had everything
that she could possibly want,
kind of greedily reaching
for another kind of acclaim
in a domain that she had
no business in at all.
That was quite
a harsh judgment,
because she'd sort of
come to public attention
originally as a club kid,
and she was obviously
someone who, you know,
loved music and loved nightlife
to the point that she was
kind of climbing out of her
bedroom window and, you know,
going out dancing all night.
[clamoring]
- Man: I love you.
Paris: There was just always
something about clubs.
Like, I would feel so safe,
calm, almost in a way, which
sounds odd, [chuckles]
but I don't know.
I just felt like
the queen of the night.
Like as soon as I would walk
in the doors like the party
started, and everyone
would just be staring at me.
And even though
I'm painfully shy,
all of that would melt away.
And I would just, like, be on
top dancing on the banquette.
Like having
the time of my life,
not giving a [bleep]
who's looking
like what people would say.
Now I can breathe here
without you
Now I can see clear
without you
So now, nearly 20 years later,
I've recorded my second album,
Infinite Icon.
We're on our way
to Jesse Shatkin Studio.
He is the producer of the album.
He is so brilliant, so talented.
I met him through Sia.
Hello.
- You sound amazing.
This album has everything.
All the history, all the
wildness that came with fame,
chaos, partying and clubbing.
I feel more confident than ever
and I'm stepping back into
what brought me to the limelight
in the first place.
Music.
I'll record this part first
with no one,
and then we'll do it.
Then I'll be too shy.
Infinite Iconis about
reclaiming my narrative.
It's a celebration
of every high, every low,
and a reminder
that I've been that girl
from the very beginning.
I'm not just
owning my OG status,
I'm teaching the master class.
Welcome
to the Bad Bitch Academy.
Woman: Are we able to have you guys
actually lose the heels for this
and just have you
a little lower?
Director:
Let's roll cameras, please.
Obviously, the song is about
how to have the most
iconic night out ever.
It totally takes me back
to my clubbing era.
A time when I tried
to be fearless and unstoppable,
I still channel that energy
anytime I feel nervous,
like before my concert or when
things take an unexpected turn.
I don't want to tell you
how we need all of our stuff.
Are you [bleep] kidding me?
So that's why we didn't want
to worry you.
- But if you're asking for PMS,
I have to tell you. -What?
Paris: Everything's just like
on fire? Where was the fire?
Man:
Where you had to make up.
Oh my God.
All of the stuff burned. Yes.
All of my things.
Thank God my dog wasn't there.
Did you finish...?
- Um... Let me call Carter.
Did you hear what happened?
Carter [on phone]: Yeah.
Everyone's on it right now.
Everything's destroyed.
- Carter: Yeah.
Paris: All of my diaries,
everything I've written,
all the baby photos,
all of my children's photos
that I didn't scan yet of me
and Nicole when we were babies.
Yes. I didn't know the [bleep]
trailer would light on fire.
Oh, my God, everything is gone.
[somber theme playing]
This is insane.
Everything is gone?
Man: The wigs. Everything.
Nothing is left.
Paris: What?
- Man: It looks like it exploded.
The real question right now is
you got a two-day shoot
of an epic new music video.
We either do the best we can,
and we're going to figure
it all out or, I don't know.
You know? This is one of those
moments you could either,
you know, or you literally go
and [bleep] crush it.
And that's all... That's the only
option right now, you know.
[sighs] All right.
- Here we go.
Yes. Bad bitch.
- Okay, we got this. Okay.
When shit hits the fan, you've
got to take a deep breath,
fix your crown
and keep it moving.
[upbeat theme playing]
I want to take a moment here
to shout out
my amazing friend Heidi.
This is not the dress I planned
to wear because that one
literally went up in flames.
But Heidi, being the icon
she is, swooped in and saved
the day with wardrobe and glam.
Life doesn't stop for the drama,
so neither should you.
So day one was on fire.
[Paris laughing]
That's hot.
That's hot.
That's hot.
[Paparazzi clamoring]
Announcer: You want to be famous,
you just need to be awesome.
She's the original influencer
and the proud owner
of catchphrase...
Queen of the metaverse.
The metaverse. Paris Hilton.
Paris Hilton's eyes
are wide open.
[overlapping voices]
Paris: I always prided myself
on being ahead of my time.
[cheering]
Paris:
Greetings, fans. Let's begin.
[intro playing]
[cheering]

[cheering]
Oh my God, everyone.
I'm literally
gonna start crying.
This is so incredible.
I am so happy to see
everyone here tonight.
I love you all so much.
And welcome
to the Infinite Icon experience.
[cheering]
Let's do this.
["Chasin'" playing]
Done, done
- With you
Done, done
- I'm giving up
You were my number one
I put you first
I gave you love
I gave you all my time
my energy
But all along
you lied to me
What are you so afraid of?
Wasn't I good to you?
Don't I deserve the truth?
I'm just sayin'
What are you afraid of?
I would've died for you
Now I'm sayin' goodbye to you
'Cause I'm done
chasin' your love
Chasin' your love
- Done, done
Chasin' your love
- Done, done
I'm givin' up
- I'm done chasin' your love
Done, done
Chasin' your love
- Done, done
Chasin' your love
- Done, done
I wasn't in love
I'm done chasing your love
I know what I deserve
and what I want
So if you hesitate
you ain't the one
I'm lookin' for affection
gimme love
Your little sweet talk
ain't enough
I want forever and always
And, baby
you ain't my soulmate
I'm done playing your games
oh
What are you so afraid of?
Wasn't I good to you?
Don't I deserve the truth?
I'm just sayin'
what are you so afraid of?
I would have died for you
Now I'm saying goodbye to you
'Cause I'm done
chasin' your love
Chasin' your love
Chasin' your love
I'm giving up
I'm done chasing your love
Chasin' your love
Chasin' your love
I wasn't in love
I'm done chasin' your love
[cheering]
Give it up for my sis,
Meghan Trainor.
I love you, Paris!
- I love you!
Wasn't I good to you?
Don't I deserve the truth?
I'm giving up on you
'Cause I'm done
chasin' your love
I was too good to you
I would have died for you
I'm saying goodbye to you
'Cause I'm done
chasin' your love
I'm giving up
'Cause I'm done
chasin' your love
Chasin' your love
Chasin' your love
I wasn't enough
I'm done chasin' your love
Wasn't I good to you?
Don't I deserve the truth?
I'm giving up on you
I'm done chasin' your love
I was too good to you
I would have died for you
Paris Hilton!
I'm done chasin' your love
- Chasin' your love
I'm done chasin' your love
- Chasin' your love
Hey!
I'm done chasin' your love
[cheering]
I love you so much.
It's Paris Hilton!
Love you so much, sis, thank
you for doing this with me.
Thank you for writing me
so many incredible songs
on my album.
Thank you for always being
so kind and such a light.
You're such an angel.
You are so beautiful
inside and out.
And I love you
to the moon and back.
I love you to the moon and back.
Stop it! I'm gonna cry.
You're the best crowd ever.
Thank you so much
for showing us so much love.
I love you, Paris.
[cheering]
[dramatic theme playing]
Paris: Okay, I guess it's time
to talk about
what I really mean
when I say music saved my life.
[clamoring]
If you heard my name or saw me
in a paparazzi photo back
in the early 2000s,
you knew that I was a club kid.
That was my whole personality
as far as anyone was concerned.
I think when people
would see me out at night,
they just saw this
carefree girl having the time
of her life, probably thinking
that I never had problems in my
life and just looked so happy.
But deep down,
I was hiding a huge secret.
I've shared parts of this
before, but if you don't know,
when I was 16, my parents were
manipulated into sending me
to what they believed was
a therapeutic boarding school.
Part of the troubled teen
industry.
[bars clank shut]
They were sold lies
that I'd be cared for,
supported.
Instead, I was cut off from them
and from the outside world.
What they thought
was protection
was really confinement
and control.
Inside, every part
of my life was dictated
and I endured emotional,
physical, and sexual abuse.
The experience left me
with trauma, nightmares,
and deep trust issues.
And for years,
no one knew what I had endured.
Hi Paris.
It's not a joke
to say I needed those clubs.
The truth is,
I needed community.
[Ultra Nat's "Free" playing]
Because music has the power
to change you.
You got to live your life
- Lyrics can heal.
Do what you want to do
A beat can lift you
out of the dark.
'Cause you're free
And so when I got out
of that awful school,
I headed straight
for the dance floor.
You got to live your life
Do what you want to do
First night when I got home
from Provo and I went out,
I heard the song.
I had no idea
who was singing it,
but the words like as soon
as I heard the beat,
even before the lyrics, I was
just like, remember listening...
And then when the lyrics came,
I was like,
oh my God, like,
this is my anthem.
'Cause you're free
To do what you want to do
You got to live your life
Do what you want to do
Like this is a sign.
This is written for me.
And I would just like escape.
And I remember
every time I would go out,
I would always ask the DJ.
I'm like, can you please play
"Free" by Ultra Nat?
And that was just like my song
and it will always be my
anthem for the rest of my life.
[clamoring]
Man 1:
How are you, Paris?
Man 2:
Look really good tonight, Paris.
Gorgeous.
- Thank you.
Love your dress.
So, yeah, for a hot minute
in the early 2000s, life felt
like one giant afterparty.
And I was the guest of honor.
I began to feel invincible,
like hope was finally
real and within reach.
Everything seemed
to be going great.
And I began to dream
of the life I could now have.
Love, career. Friends.
It seems obvious looking
back on it now, but I was
young and had no idea the
destruction of that innocence
was right around the corner.
Hey, Tara.
- Tara.
You look like $1 million.
Ditum: You feel like
everyone's looking at you
and you think you're mad,
but everyone
is really looking at you.
And when that happens,
however much you might feel
like you're prepared for it,
it's a really disorienting
experience to be the person
that everybody is looking at.
[clamoring]
We have one hour, right?
Paris's problem
attracting the attention
came because she was so much
a perfect product
for that particular time.
Even in her very first
interviews, you get the sense
that this is someone with an
incredible native understanding
of how fame works,
how the media works,
and how the media is changing.
Man: Paris Hilton, everybody.
Thank you.
Ditum:
And I think that intelligence,
that ability
to play the game effectively,
was one of the things
that actually made her a target.
[somber theme playing]
In the early Y2K days,
it was normal nature
to rake these women
over the coals.
It was part of the culture
to just talk
down about these women.
Ditum: Because she was a woman
who used her sexuality at a time
when sexuality was actually
being weaponized against women,
she just sort of fell into this
pigeonhole of being horribly,
and to use the kind of words
that people were
using at the time,
the kind of ultimate slut,
and to be judged
and punished and hated.
Fan: Can I take a quick
picture? It's my birthday.
When the sex tape comes,
it seems to really confirm
something that people wanted
to believe about her already.
[people shouting indistinctly]
She was in such
an invidious position
when that sex tape was released.
The immediate assumption of lots
of people in the media was
that she had released it herself
to gain attention.
It had actually been leaked
as a spoiling tactic.
So, you know,
kind of classic revenge porn.
You know, I see this woman is
going somewhere in the world.
I'll bring her down low.
The Simple Life
was coming out soon,
and they had planned
this whole press tour
around the world where
Nicole and I were supposed
to go on every single talk show.
And I was in Australia
and my manager called and said
that one of
the nightly talk shows
had been sent a 30 second clip,
and I didn't even believe it
when I first heard. I was like...
I didn't remember even doing it.
I was like, no,
that has to be fake.
I'd already seen
that people were doing fake
things all the time,
um...
with Photoshop
and things like that.
And then they sent me the clip
and I just remember watching it
and just being like in shock,
like not believing what I
was seeing and then having a
flashback to the memory of him.
But he was the first guy that
I met when I got out of Provo
at a club in New York.
And I was so in love
with him, I was just...
He was like my life and I would
have done anything for him.
He's like, this is something
I do with all my girlfriends.
So and so has done it so and so
like, I'll show you their tapes.
I'm like,
I don't want to see them.
I'm like, I don't want to do it
because I was just very shy
person and not sexual at all.
And I just remember him
saying like, okay, fine,
if you don't do it,
I'll just call someone else.
[somber theme playing]
It was that was one
of the most painful experiences
I've been through.
And I'm sure if I had not been
through all the other things
before, it probably would
have been even worse. Um...
Like I was just so terrified,
like,
is this going to ruin
everything I worked so hard for?
And I always looked up
to people like Princess Diana
and Grace Kelly and all
these just elegant women.
And I felt when he did that
to me, that like, I could never
be like these women because no
one would ever see me that way
because of what he did to me.
And that always just
broke my heart so much just
to know that I don't know.
In my mind,
I just thought my life was over.
I was like, I don't ever want
to show my face again.
Interviewer:
How old were you
when you when you recorded
that with him?
Paris:
My family told me not
to give it oxygen, so I didn't.
I smiled and kept going.
I thought about those words
from my anthem.
I wanted so badly
to feel free again.
And so I doubled down
and went for my dream.
I went into the studio
and recorded my first album.
You got to live your life
And then...
Ditum: The artist Banksy
pulled this stunt
where he swapped copies
of her CD in record
stores for his own kind of
doctored version that had
topless pictures of her
and like fake song titles
like "Why Am I Famous?"
and "What Am I For?"
Paris: My dream to build my
music career felt like it was
being taken away from me
before it even started.
It was completely overshadowed
by people wanting
to talk about the tape.
I'd walk into a room
and hear whispers, or worse,
straight up strangers
calling me a slut or a whore.
Like they knew me.
Like they knew anything.
The shame didn't even belong
to me, but I carried it anyway.
I didn't want to go on tour.
I didn't want to face the noise
because no matter where I went,
it felt like the world
had already made up its mind.
It almost crushed me.
I said almost.
I was quickly learning to adapt.
Finding beauty
even in the darkest moments.
I sat with the pain
for a long time.
Then I realized,
this is my life.
Why would I give away
who I know I am at my core?
I refuse to let anyone else
take away my power, my dreams.
So what did I do?
I did all I knew to do.
I reached for my lifeline.
And I kept dancing.
Lightning strike
the night you left
I don't think you meant
the last thing you said
Behind your cigarette
Cigarette
Because of it
I can't stay dry
A storm in my mind
There's no way to hide
Got one thing left to try
Ooh, I've got diamonds
in my eyes
Yeah, I know that I'll survive
if the earth is spinning
Got to dance with a
got to dance with a
I can fix my broken heart
I don't even like your stars
If the earth is spinning
got to dance with it
Got to dance with it
If the earth is spinning
Now, years later.
I found myself reflecting
on all the darkness
that I somehow survived.
Did I have it in me
to reach back in time
and revisit my dream?
It had been so traumatic to have
it ripped away the first time.
And I remembered my anthem
by Ultra Nat
from back in the day.
And that was my starting point.
How long is it?
Man: I think you only need
like six of those.
Sort of like...
[laughter]
You should talk
in your real voice right there.
Paris: When I recorded
my version called "I'm Free,"
it wasn't just a track.
It was a love letter
to the song that taught me
how to dance through pain
and reclaim my life.
Another reason
I've always loved music...
It's such a powerful thing where
even like a lyric and a song
could completely change your
mood or even change your life.
And to think that the power
of music is something
that is just indescribable.
[somber theme playing]
My hope has always been
that I can give others the same
safe experience to be themselves
that I found through music.
It's a very personal song.
I'm so glad to be able to be
inspired by that song
and sample it in this way.
- Yeah. -I just... I've
always loved her forever.
And now you guys are going
to inspire other people
to be free.
Man:
Here. You know what?
What if we just, like,
did like a voice memo of it?
Paris:
The real OG wrote the playbook.
I have a PhD.
I'm the blueprint
they try to be.
There's so much more.
This is my legacy.
[recorded]
The infinite icon, the real OG.
Free
- I wrote the playbook.
[laughter]
I am the blueprint.
The real OG.
This is my legacy.
[cheering]
I do what I want to do
I'm free
- The infinite icon.
I'm free...
- I am the blueprint.
To do what I wanna do
The real OG.
[cheering]
I'll do what I wanna do
Infinite icon.
Lightning strike
the night you left
I don't think you meant
the last thing you said
Behind your cigarette, ooh
Clouds roll in
I can't stay dry
A storm in my mind
there's nowhere to hide
Got one thing
left to try, ooh
These stilettos are headin'
For the dark side of heaven
Where a sinner can get in
That's where I let it out
I got diamonds in my eyes
Yeah, I know
that I'll survive
If the Earth is spinnin'
Got to dance with it,
got to dance with it, ah
I can fix my broken heart
Underneath electric stars
If the Earth is spinnin'
Got to dance with it
Got to dance with it, ah
It's hard to leave
I get what I need
out in the deep
That type of energy
Makes me go up and down
I leave the past
I'm not who I was
in the aftermath
But let me go, let me go
Spin it back
I got diamonds in my eyes
Yeah, I know
that I'll survive
If the Earth is spinnin'
Got to dance with it
got to dance with it, ah
I can fix my broken heart
Underneath electric stars
If the Earth is spinnin'
Got to dance with it
got to dance with it, ah
If the Earth is spinnin'
I got to dance within it
'Cause it's a new beginning
And I'm in it for the livin'
If the Earth is spinnin'
I got to dance within it
'Cause it's a new beginning
And I'm in it for the livin'
[cheering]
Los Angeles, everyone's looking
so good tonight.
I love all the sparkles,
the pink. Whoo!
I got diamonds in my eyes
And I know that I'll survive
Make some noise, Los Angeles.
[cheering]
I've got diamonds in my eyes
Yeah, I know
that I'll survive
If the Earth is spinnin'
Got to dance with it
got to dance with it, ah
I can fix my broken heart
Underneath electric stars
If the Earth is spinnin'
Got to dance with it,
got to dance with it, ah
If the Earth is spinnin'
I got to dance within it
'Cause it's a new beginning
And I'm in it for the livin'
If the Earth is spinnin'
I got to dance within it
'Cause it's a new beginning
And I'm in it for the livin'
[cheering]
If the Earth is spinnin', oh
[cheering]
["I'm Free" playing]
Boss bitch energy
I'm the centerpiece
I don't have enemies
But they all wanna be me
I swear
It doesn't bother me
I don't really care
There's nothing in the world
that could bring me down
There's no one in the room
that could take my crown
'Cause I'm shining
'til I'm bright
And it's feeling so right
There's nothing in the world
that could bring me down
I'm free
[cheering]
To do what I wanna do
It's my life
I'll do what I wanna do
I wanna see the sunrise
dance under the moon
I can be here all night
if I wanted to
'Cause I'm free
To do what I wanna do
He says come again
I know it's true
Cameras watching on the bed
it's nothing new
Just what I do
baby, if we're being honest
There's nothing in the world
that could bring me down
There's no one in the room
that could take my crown
'Cause I'm shining too bright
and it's feeling so right
There's nothing in the world
that could bring me down
I'm free
To do what I wanna do
It's my life
I'll do what I wanna do
I wanna see the sunrise
dance under the moon
I can be here all night
if I wanted to
'Cause I'm free
To do what I wanna do
I'm free
To do what I wanna do
It's my life
I'll do what I wanna do
I'm free
[cheering]
- Infinite icon.
I am the blueprint.
This is my legacy.
[cheering]
Love you like mm.
Love you, bitches.
["ADHD" intro playing]
Got on a plane, got in the car
I'm so tired
Live with the pain
live with my scars
I'm so tired
I wish I could sleep
I'm ADHD
I'm so tired
But this is all mine
this is all me
[echoing]
Now I'm on fire
[Paris practicing]
Choreographer:
Walk the right.
Point again.
Repeat one more time. Pose!
Bravo! Come on.
Okay, so we're gonna
take lunch now. Pete.
Um... I'm gonna go back
to the room quickly, just like.
You should chill for a sec.
- Just like cool down.
I'm like so hot.
- Take a beat.
Did you know if there's Imax
at the Palladium?
Like at MSG?
It's all about the images
and pictures, and it's like...
People are just gonna be
like this
the whole time
with their phones.
Then you see me and then.
- Yeah.
All I'm suggesting is that...
- Everyone will be watching
through their phone.
- For sure.
But just...
- That's the world we live in.
- Just pause for one second.
Just remember... -I have ADHD.
Don't tell me to pause.
- Okay.
I have a brain like a Ferrari
with no [bleep] brakes.
Yeah,
and the Ferrari's going, baby.
Ferrari's going.
- You can't stop the Ferrari.
All right.
- Um...
Paris: Growing up with ADHD
and not knowing what it was,
it was overwhelming because I
would just have so many thoughts
going through my mind.
I would always get distracted.
Your emotions can just be like,
very up and down.
Yeah. Around the corner.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- Paris: Not knowing...
It was just always
very confusing to me.
I just felt very overwhelmed.
Okay. Where's my notebooks.
My brain is constantly going
so I'm constantly going.
But when I was a kid, I thought
something was wrong with me.
I couldn't focus, couldn't
pay attention in school,
and I got in trouble for it.
I was made to feel stupid.
To make matters worse,
I had a voice in my head that
was the worst critic presenting
ugly and painful representations
of life and of myself.
Always telling me
that I was dumb
and couldn't do anything right.
I now know that the mean voice
is actually a fact
of life for someone with ADHD.
It's even got a clinical name.
Default mode network,
otherwise known as DMN,
or as I like to call it,
the demon.
The demon is always there
in my own brain with negative
self-talk, just making things
harder than they already are.
So when stuff was happening
like that sex tape disaster,
you better believe the things
the demon was saying to me
were far crueler than anyone
in the public ever could be.
The vilest things being
said about me were happening
right inside my own head.
[panting, heart beating]
I knew somewhere deep down that
if I listened to that demon and
I listened to all those hateful
comments out there in the world
that I would never recover.
So I decided to find
the light within the darkness.
With a lot of effort,
I learned to harness that demon.
I stopped letting it haunt me
and started letting it push me
to build, to create,
to shine louder than the shame.
What once tried to break me
became the fire that fueled me.
They do say that one
of the most powerful healing
tools is laughter.
So I laughed.
Not right away,
but eventually I found a way
to reclaim the moment
that was meant to humiliate me.
If the world was going
to turn me into a punchline,
I decided to own the narrative
and flip it on its head.
That's when everything changed.
I wasn't the victim
of the story anymore.
I was the author.
We were getting all these
offers from every big,
you know, talk show person
nightly one hour shows.
And then we got a call from SNL
and they had a script that was
very tongue in cheek, very fun.
Here now is Paris Hilton.
So your family,
I don't know if a lot of people
know the Hilton's own hotels
all over the world.
Right?
- Yes. They're in New York.
London, Paris.
Is it hard to get
into Paris Hilton?
Actually,
it's a very exclusive hotel,
no matter what you've heard.
Do they allow double occupancy
at the Paris Hilton?
[laughter]
No.
- Is the Paris Hilton roomy?
It might be for you, but most
people find it very comfortable.
The reaction it got that helped
take me out of my rut of, like,
wanting to hide from the world.
So I'm so grateful for Jimmy,
for being so kind.
Thanks for,
thanks for coming on.
Me, I'm the hot one
Then I took it even further
because of course I did.
I filmed this little
commercial for Carl's Jr.
You might have heard of it.
Me, a Bentley,
a bikini and a burger.
Let's talk about the context
of this commercial.
Right beforehand, this sex tape
of hers had come out
and everybody was so like,
you know, was wondering like,
does she really want to do this?
Because this is
a little scandalous.
I think one of the best things
about that commercial was
that we fought at the very end
to have a close up of her face,
where she's looking
right at the camera,
and she's smiling to let us know
that she's the one who authored
this, that she's the one who is
in control of her sexuality.
She's in control of her image.
One of the most incredible
things about Paris was that,
like, she very much understood
what people thought about her,
but she also wanted
to have full control over it.
You know, the context for this
was like, no one had ever done.
Anything like that.
- No one had ever done anything like that.
And in a lot of ways, like you
were reclaiming your image.
It also, I don't know,
I love, like I said, having fun
with my image, taking control of
the narrative almost in a way.
It's just kind of like a tongue
in cheek nod to it,
but in a way where it's like,
I'm the boss and this is hot.
And I loved pushing boundaries
and just like.
Yeah.
- Doing things my own way.
[indistinct chatter]
[dramatic theme playing]
Hi, Allen. Good morning.
Paris: I still have dark days.
We all do.
But there are times
even today when that demon
is on full blast.
Perfect example.
This was the day before my
concert at the Palladium and I
was caught in a mental storm.
We were all here for you.
And you inspire all of us.
Each one of us.
Every single day.
I'd been up all night
obsessing about the details
of every lighting cue,
every costume change,
every choreographed move.
Just everything.
[sniffling] I'm so nervous.
Nerves are good.
Nerves mean you care.
If you didn't give a [bleep],
you wouldn't be nervous.
I'm so tired this morning
because I couldn't
sleep last night.
Because I was redoing
all the visuals.
I'm so ADD, I was just like,
literally
the whole body work, like.
Zooming in with the visuals,
like screenshotting
[bleep] everything.
We love you so much.
- Sorry. I'm crying.
I'm just like so overwhelmed
and just like so many emotions,
I'm just like, oh my God, oh,
I should be so happy and sober.
I am, but it's like,
I don't know what it is.
It's like I can't be
as fully happy as I could be.
It's just like something
always holds me back.
But it's like no matter
what I do, nothing is enough.
I'm just like... It's like,
when is it going to be enough?
It's like, I work so hard and I
guess I want to keep striving.
All of that success,
I love it, but at the same time,
I wish I could be like, actually
as happy as someone would be
if they had all these things.
You're caring and the emotion
that you're showing now
and putting into the energy
that you do is what gives back
to the people that adore you.
All of these people
that follow you on social media,
that have been
in love with you for decades,
like you're doing this for them.
Paris: Wait, I totally forgot
to say one thing.
[rewind whirring]
During that time
of the Carl's Jr commercial,
people were confused
about what it was I did.
Like back then,
you were pigeonholed into being
just one thing in a career.
People always wanted me
to pick a lane, be one thing.
But within the space
of one year,
I was a reality star
with The Simple Life,
starred in my first movie,
The House of Wax,
released my first album, Paris.
Not to mention modeling,
deejaying, building a brand,
and being a badass entrepreneur.
So yeah, [bleep] picking a lane.
I wanted to do it all.
You never heard much about
multi-hyphenates in those days,
but my ADHD makes me refuse
to be contained to one category.
So I leaned into it.
Thank you for making me
this art, I love it.
This is cool.
Puppies.
These piles,
its designs for product lines.
For music.
For cookware. Homeware.
My new bedding line.
Furniture line.
New skincare.
New makeup. Isn't that cool?
Jewelry line, dog jewelry line,
dog clothes and I became
the ultimate multitasker.
Which seriously helps
if you want to grow a brand
and an empire.
[barking]
- Girls chill.
Of course, these days I've added
more hyphenates, advocate, ally,
and most importantly, mom.
Whoo-hoo!
Thanks to a lot of love in my
life, and especially the support
I've gotten from Carter.
1, 2, 3.
I now see ADHD not
as a disorder, but as a full on,
turbo charged,
glitter dusted superpower.
Now look at me
I'm the best I can be
I was so down
Thought I'd never be free
My super power
was right inside, see
It was ADHD
Thank you to me
Thank you to me
My super power was ADHD
On this new album, I wanted
a song that would inspire and
empower others with ADHD so that
they could also come to embrace
it as their own superpower.
[practicing "ADHD"]
Choreographer: And down
the runway. Here we go.
Walk with the fans
on the platform.
I just wanted to let you know
Sia and Kathy Griffin are here.
The turntable starts.
[cheering]
Queen. Queen Queen.
Queen. Queen.
Queen. Hi. Surprise, surprise.
Oh my God.
I know you guys are coming.
I know, I'm sorry.
I look like Carrot Top.
Anyway, you are working your
ass off out there. I love it.
I love it. Legacy.
I've never worked that hard.
Yes you have. No, no,
but in a different way.
- Off the stage.
You might fall off the stage. -Yes.
Guys, this is Sia and Kathy.
Hi, you guys.
That was unbelievable.
So good.
- Thank you.
It was crazy. I was so proud.
I can't wait
to see the whole show.
You've worked so hard.
It's amazing.
And all of the effort
and the choreography is crazy.
I've never had anything
choreographed like this.
It's a lot of fierceness. Yeah.
We just wanted
to give you a love.
We love you.
The most incredible album ever.
I'm so [bleep] proud.
I'm so proud of this song.
I know, [bleep] amazing.
I wish I'll be there
whenever you want.
Honey, I love you.
I love you too.
Mwah, mwah, mwah!
- I'll see you there.
Okay.
- Bye, queens.
Legacy. Legacy.
- Icons only, bitch.
Love you.
- I can't.
So good!
How do they know we were here?
- I have no idea.
That's so [bleep] cute.
I saw two people dancing.
Like, who is that?
[laughter]
No idea.
That was great, everyone. Um...
Let's continue.
Sia and I have been friends
for a few years now.
Of course, we all know Sia's
brilliance as a musician.
When we first met,
we totally hit it off and bonded
over the fact that we
are both neurodivergent.
Sio was diagnosed with autism
as an adult and, like me,
found that it answered a lot
of questions for her about
how she navigated her world.
Sia and I both know music as
a powerful way to tell a story.
She ended up becoming
the genius behind my album.
Thank you for being
my inspiration.
You have the most gorgeous,
beautiful, angelic voice
in the world, and I'm just so
honored to be working with you.
And I'm so happy that you came
here to support me tonight.
She is my executive producer
and biggest cheerleader.
Second to Carter, of course.
Hi. Pretty in pink. Hi, sis.
I've learned. Mwah.
Mwah.
I finally learned the air kiss.
Yes.
- With me.
I brought you some presents.
- You're the sweetest.
I brought you my new blanket
lines and my new baby
line clothes for Sumi.
Yeah.
- Thank you.
I'm so excited.
- That's so cute.
Awesome.
- You're gonna love it.
Pretty?
- Yeah.
Come join me, bup-bups,
if you can get around my frock.
[laughter]
This is so cute.
So when I was singing "ADHD,"
and then they did the playback
of it, and we heard it, and then
you started like, screaming,
oh my God, this is
[bleep] amazing.
Like. Just basically like being
like cheerleader.
That's a big cheerleader.
Spending time with you
and Carter...
He kept calling it your
calling ADHD, your superpower.
And, and I loved hearing
that because I had
gotten an autism diagnosis.
I saw how he was
reframing it for you.
And I wanted to reframe it
for everybody else in that way.
And that's why that line
to me is so powerful.
It really resonated with people.
I've had moms and dads even come
up to me and say, like, my
daughter or my son is like eight
years old and they're having
so many problems in school.
But I played her song
and now it's like her anthem,
and every morning she's
singing it and she now feels
proud of her superpower.
And it's really just
been life changing.
You're not broken
and you don't need fixing.
That's what I think is
the most important message
from that song.
Paris:
Once more, I have found
that music is a force
for good and
has the power to provide answers
and safety and community.
Music gives us a language
to fight back.
I am the blueprint.
Loves it.
The real OG.
That's hot.
Slay.
This is my legacy.
Sliving.
Loves it.
I am blueprint.
The infinite icon.
This is my legacy.
This is my legacy.
This is my legacy.
This is my legacy.
I am the blueprint.
The infinite icon.
This is my legacy.
This is my legacy.
This is my legacy.
[intro to "ADHD" playing]
[cheering]
Got on a plane, got in the car
I'm so tired
Live with the pain
live with my scars
I'm so tired
I wish I could sleep
I'm ADHD
I'm so tired
But this is all mine
This is all me
Now I'm on fire
Sometimes I wanna fight it
Sometimes I freeze
I fly, yeah
Sometimes I can't deny it
So I just keep on trying
Sometimes I wanna crumble
Sometimes I'm gonna stumble
My mind is always runnin'
Sometimes I feel like cryin'
Now, look at me
I'm the best I can be
I was so down
thought I'd never be free
My superpower
was right inside, see?
It was ADHD
My hands were shy
yeah, could never be me
Look at me now
as I laugh nervously
My superpower
was right inside, see?
So thank you to me
Thank you to me
Thank you to me
My superpower is ADHD
Back on the road
up in the air, I'm so tired
Words in a book, so much
to share. Am I on fire?
I'm a deer
caught in the headlights
Sometimes I freeze
Sometimes I fight
Tonight, I fight
Sometimes I wanna fight it
Sometimes I freeze
I fly, yeah
Sometimes I can't deny it
So I just keep on trying
Sometimes I wanna crumble
Sometimes I'm gonna stumble
My mind is always runnin'
Sometimes I feel like cryin'
Now look at me
I'm the best I can be
I was so down
thought I'd never be free
My superpower
was right inside, see?
It was ADHD
I am so shy
I could never be me
Look at me now
as I laugh nervously
My superpower
was right inside, see?
So thank you to me
Lion be gracious, majestic
don't fake this
I'll smile, I can take it
I'll smile, I can take it
I am the gracious, majestic
don't fake this
I'll smile, I can take it
I'll smile, I can take it
I am the gracious, majestic
don't fake this
I'll smile, I can take it
I'll smile, I can take it
I am the gracious, majestic
don't fake this
I'll smile, I can take it
I'll smile, I can take it
So thank you to me
Thank you to me
[cheering]
Thank you to all of you.
This is a dedicated
to my ADHD family.
We are amazing. We are.
We are beautiful.
We are everything.
I love you all.
And it's not over yet.
I'll be right back.
I love you so much.
I'm literally crying right now.
Oh, I have the best fans
in the world.
["Legacy" playing]
My life is my legacy
legacy, legacy
I mentioned earlier that a lyric
in a song can change your mood
or even change your life.
Music carries our truth farther
than words alone ever could.
I remember
first hearing the lyrics
to Madonna's song "Vogue."
You try everything you can
to escape the pain
of life that you know.
When all else fails.
And you long to be something
better than you are today.
I know a place
where you can get away.
It's called a dance floor.
And I felt that in my core.
Growing up, those lyrics
weren't just words to me.
They were a lifeline.
The dance floor was that place.
It was freedom. It was family.
It was where I could lose myself
and find myself all at once.
After I left the troubled teen
schools, I spent much of my
adult life haunted
by recurring violent nightmares.
Night after night,
I was kidnaped in my sleep,
taken, locked away.
I'd wake up in a cold sweat
over and over again.
Those schools taught us to keep
the secret, to carry the shame.
But nightclubs became one
of the few places where I
could escape that darkness.
Where the music drowned out
the noise in my head.
And it was there that I found
others who needed the same thing
a refuge, a sanctuary.
Those lyrics were not
just about the music
and how it made me feel.
It was Madonna herself,
the way she stood up for
the LGBTQ plus community
when so few others did.
The way she made people
feel seen and celebrated,
not just accepted.
That kind of allyship.
That bold,
fearless love left a mark on me.
She showed me what it meant to
use your platform to fight for
something bigger than yourself.
And I've carried
that with me ever since.
I need water...
I need water.
Paris, remember I told you
when I first came in here.
There's gonna be a million more.
55 more lights.
Yeah.
You have to remember that.
We have to rehearse.
Don't let the lighting
freak you out.
Okay?
- What do I do now?
That every time my
mouth is going to get dry
and every song
I can't just stop.
Every time I tell you.
Also, it's a little you're
a little nervy today.
The nerves are coming out.
Yeah, okay.
But just we have to.
We have to work through the
nerves to get to the other side.
I promise you, I've been
performing my whole life.
I know what this feeling is.
Slow down.
Everyone knows you're human.
Paris: So when anyone asks me
why I care so much.
Why I get so nervous before
performing, it's because
this isn't just a show for me.
It's a chance to create a space
where everyone can feel free,
safe, and celebrated exactly
as they are.
Nightclubs have always
held a special place
in culture long before there
was visibility or protection.
There was the dance floor.
It was a sanctuary, a place
where people could shed the
fear, the shame and the judgment
and just be bold, beautiful.
Free
Legacy
I don't really care
what they think they know
That's where I first
witnessed what chosen
family really looks like.
The art of self-expression
as survival.
So every time I step on stage
or create a new song, I think
of that feeling, that energy,
and I want to give it back.
That's why I go so hard.
Because if my legacy can help
create more of those joyful,
affirming spaces for others,
then it's all worth it.
Love you, Paris.
Tonight we'll make history
'Cause loving you
is my legacy
Obviously, being LGBTQ myself
and seeing how people
respond to her in our community,
it's fantastic.
She is truly an
icon for our world.
That's sweet.
- I love this community so much.
You are unapologetic.
You are free.
You are real. You are beautiful.
I'm just so proud to be here.
Man: I think she's a beacon
of light for a lot of these
kids out there who have not
a lot of people to turn to,
and I think that she always
creates a safe space for these
kids to come to and to go
to her socials and to go
to her events and just be
a part of her whole world.
Paris: I'm so grateful that
the community has embraced me,
but if I'm being real,
they're the ones who gave me
the greatest gift,
showing me what it truly means
to live your truth. For so long,
I was weighed down by shame
over what I went through in
the troubled teen industry.
I buried it so deep I couldn't
even look at it myself.
The first time that I started
talking about my nightmares
with Alex, the director of the
documentary This Is Paris...
It was the first time
I told anyone about it.
When she put the camera down,
I pulled back and I was like,
don't use any of that.
I don't want this in the movie.
Like, we're not putting this in.
I was terrified
that if people knew the truth,
if they saw past the sparkle,
the success, the smile, they'd
see what I was really hiding.
A scared,
broken girl who had been made
to feel like she didn't matter.
Like she wasn't enough.
What I've come
to understand is that the shame
I carried isn't unique.
So many people are made
to feel that same heaviness.
The pressure to hide who you
are, to silence your truth,
to carry pain that was
never yours to begin with.
It's a weight that can
break you if you let it.
That's why speaking out matters.
Because whether you've
survived a broken system
or spent your life being told
you don't belong, that shame
is never yours to hold.
And once you realize that,
once you say it out loud,
you take your power back.
That's what connects us.
The shame, the silence,
the longing to be seen.
That's why I use my voice
for the kids still searching for
their light and for the adults
still aching to be heard.
Because we all deserve safety,
freedom
and a life lived in the open.
So I took a deep breath
and finally agreed to let
the producers include my story
in the documentary,
and in that moment,
the silence that had controlled
me for so long finally broke.
It's made me so strong and not
ashamed of who I am.
I'm so proud because I am
a [bleep] warrior and I've been
through hell and back.
But every time I just
come out stronger.
We love you.
- We love you.
So excited.
- Cannot wait for your show tonight.
Breaking a leg. All the way
from Florida and Texas.
Austin and Colorado, bitch.
Hey, Ohio. Over here.
I'd love for you to be your
very first band in my show.
Hi.
- We absolutely love you so much.
[dramatic theme playing]
And I remember driving by, I was
like, I have to say hi to them.
My driver's like,
just let's just go
in like you have a busy day.
And I was like, no, no, no.
Like, they are the first people
who got here like the morning,
like they want
to be the first ones.
Like I have to get out and go
and say hello to them.
I'm so happy that I did.
- Thank you so much.
Yes. Goddess.
I really see them as,
like, my family,
my brothers and my sisters.
I love Paris, and I was
able to when she was coming
out on the scene was when I
was first starting to come out.
I just felt so connected
and I just she just allowed me
to be the person who I am.
And I have so much confidence
because of her.
And I'm so glad to be able
to send this message to her.
We love you, Paris.
Thank you, Paris.
That makes me so emotional.
I love my fans so much.
Just hearing them say
that just means the world to me.
Take that back.
I hope they know
how much they touch my heart.
Getting real, getting honest,
unlocked something in me.
A kind of freedom I had
only ever tasted in flashes
years ago on the dance floor.
When the music drowned out
the noise of the world.
[singing indistinctly]
There's this idea that if you
stay silent, you stay strong.
But for me, silence was
the thing that kept me stuck.
What I've learned is
that speaking your truth,
even when your voice shakes,
is what actually sets you free.
Real power lives
in vulnerability,
in using your voice and standing
up for yourself and for others.
Because once you've found
your voice, you can help
others find theirs too.
That's where the healing begins.
Through my documentary,
my memoir, and all my advocacy
work, like slowly those
nightmares started fading away.
And now for like the past,
like two years, I only have
dreams about going to clubs and
parties and just the most fun.
It feels good to, like, have
dreams about only fun, happy
things now and not one
nightmare at all,
which is so crazy to me.
Like I, I can't believe that I
don't have nightmares anymore.
It's lit.
Don't wanna live
without love
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
Don't wanna live
without love
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
Don't wanna live without you
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
[cheering]
[intro to "Legacy" playing]
Whoo!
Let's do this.
I don't really care
what they think they know
They only see
all the glitter and gold
Everybody leaves
when the curtains close
But it's me and you
at the end of the show
In the car, on the beach
In your arms, all I need
I know they all remember me
For the glamor and fantasy
We know in reality
That loving you is my legacy
Your touch is a guarantee
Your kiss is my destiny
Tonight we'll make history
'Cause loving you
is my legacy
The song is dedicated
to my fans.
So I decided to bring
two of them up right now.
Sophia and Louisa.
Happy birthday, sweetheart.
It's my legacy
I don't really care
if we stay or leave
- Let's go. -If it's cool with
you then it's cool with me
Never knew
love could be so sweet
When I'm with you
all the best things are free
In the car, on the beach
In your arms, all I need
I know they all remember me
For the glamor and fantasy
We know in reality
That loving you is my legacy
Your touch is a guarantee
Your kiss is my destiny
Tonight we'll make history
'Cause loving you
is my legacy
Legacy.
Legacy.
Legacy.
[cheering]
That fun?
Yes!
Are you nervous?
- Yes.
Me too.
How do you feel?
- Good.
Is this the best birthday ever?
- Yes.
Loves it. Well,
I love you girls so much.
I'm so happy
you came to my show.
And this song, "Legacy" is
dedicated to all of my fans.
[cheering]
You guys are the reason
why I do what I do.
And I wouldn't be
who I am without you.
And you know, your girl
has been through a lot.
But you all have always been
there for me through everything.
And I'm so grateful
to all of you.
Each and every one of you.
All my little Hiltons.
All the little Hiltons
in the house,
make some noise.
[cheering]
Oh my God,
this is the best night ever.
I love you, girls.
Happy birthday!
So this next one is one of my
favorite songs of all time.
Let's go!
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
da-da, da-da-da-da-da
So I was thinking to myself
when you pass me by
"Here's what I like"
And you were with somebody
else but you can't deny
That's me in your eye
Do you know what it's like
When it's wrong
but it feels so right?
Nothing in this world
can stop us tonight
I can do what she can do
so much better
Nothing in this world
can turn out the light
I'm gonna make you feel
alright tonight
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Baby, you and I
we got what they'll never be
You know I'm right
So tell me what you're waiting
for when you're here with me
Most guys would die
You should know
- You should know
What it's like
- What it's like
When it hurts
- When it hurts
'Cause it feels so right
Nothing in this world
can stop us tonight
I can do what she can do
so much better
Nothing in this world
can turn out the light
I'm gonna make you feel
alright tonight
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
- Tonight
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
I gotta tell you something
It's something
that you just might like
No, it's not the same thing
Yeah, you'll learn
I'm not too shy
You and I
we can do this thing tonight
Nothing in this world
can stop us tonight
I can do what she can do
so much better
Nothing in this world
can turn out the light
I'm gonna make you feel
alright tonight
Nothing in this world
can stop us tonight
I can do what she can do
so much better
Nothing in this world
can turn out the light
I'm gonna make you feel
alright tonight
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
- Tonight
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
- Tonight
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
- Tonight
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
Da-da, da-da-da-da-da
- Tonight
[cheering]
See you the next fit.
DJ:
Paris:
["Infinity" playing]
[dramatic theme playing]
Paris: I feel like people are
finally starting to see me
for who I really am,
and not the way the media has
painted me for so long.
When I started
showing my true side
and being vulnerable and real...
Showing who I really was,
was when people got
to see me on like a human level.
Remember those headlines
I mentioned back in chapter one?
These days, they hit different.
Sure, they're still haters.
You can't avoid that.
But now there's
this new kind of acknowledgment,
a deeper kind of appreciation.
And yeah, that feels good.
Not just because it's
flattering, but because it
means something real.
There's been a shift.
It proves that when you reclaim
your own narrative and speak
it out loud, people start
to see you differently.
They see you clearly.
And I've seen how being real,
unfiltered,
unapologetic can actually
change the way people think.
Of course, the best reward
has been my personal life.
My family.
I fell in love with Carter right
after I finally spoke my truth.
It's wild.
Like the moment I let go of all
the pain I'd been carrying.
I made space for real love
to find me.
As if the universe had
been waiting for me to heal.
So it could send him to me.
Before I met Carter,
I had already made a decision.
Like I had my eggs frozen.
I was like, I don't need a man.
I'm successful.
I can support a family.
I can do anything.
I don't trust anyone.
So I'm just going
to be a single mom.
And the walls I had built around
my heart from just so many years
of pain and heartbreak that I
just never could let anyone in.
And then this little angel
came into my life.
[chuckles]
And my life has
changed ever since.
Teeny weeny.
- Teeny Petey, Petey, Petey.
[laughing]
Carter: The way I always
talk about Paris and I is,
we were not love at first sight
because we knew each other
for 10 or 15 years.
I always joked that if she would
have just looked at me along
those 10 or 15 years, but we'd
always say hi to each other.
But we definitely were
kiss at first sight.
And I think like it was just
kind of the perfect time.
She was ready.
You know,
I didn't realize at the time
why it was the perfect time.
But now looking back, like,
I honestly just thought that
documentary was a documentary
about all her success
and entrepreneurial stuff.
It wasn't until I watched that
that so much more made sense.
We got it, Mark.
All right,
time to go be a pop star.
Yeah.
One of the things
that makes me proudest
the last few years is like,
I think people are
starting for the first time
to see the real Paris, right?
For 20 plus years, they only
knew the character Paris Hilton.
World prize.
You are such a boss.
Thanks for choosing me
as your teammate.
Yes.
Let's go. All right.
The Queen has
entered the building.
What I would like Paris legacy
to be is that she left the
world better than she found it.
She left the world more sparkly
than she found it.
You know, she always says.
I hope when they call me
iconic in the future,
it's because of the huge impact
I made on the world.
She inspires some people
to be unapologetic.
And that feeling
that you don't have to conform,
but you can live your life
however you want to be.
And I think if that all
happened, the world's going
to be a better place.
[dramatic theme playing]
Paris. Paris. Woo hoo!
You're so corny.
- I am the biggest Dad joke.
She's such an incredible mom.
She has this inner playfulness
that just makes
every day so fun, right?
If we're getting
on a flight at the airport,
just her scooting around on her
little motorized suitcase makes
you smile and makes it fun.
What sliving moms do.
Carter:
Whoa. This is a special one.
Don't do mama's face.
[laughs]
Go! Woo!
Paris: And being a mom,
it's the most beautiful thing
I've ever experienced.
The kind of love that's
so deep it changes you forever.
When I look at my babies' faces,
I see everything
I was ever meant to be.
London and Phoenix
are my whole heart.
My cutesy crew,
every smile, every cuddle,
every little moment with them
feels like pure magic.
They've given my life
a new kind of sparkle.
One that's deeper, softer,
and so full of love
it takes my breath away.
Our life together is more
magical than I've ever dreamed.
Carter is my home,
my safe place, my twin flame.
Every day with him
feels like a fairy tale.
Only it's real and it's ours.
I hope my legacy is that I
was just a little extra wind
beneath your wings.
[cheering]
[dramatic theme playing]
Paris: Family isn't just who
you're born to or marry into.
It's also your chosen family.
The ones who just get you, who
see you in ways no one else can.
When I look back, it's not the
chaos or the headlines or the
flashbulbs that stay with me.
It's the music, the clubs, the
friendships, the inside jokes.
At 2 a.m.
When you're laughing so hard
you forget the madness outside.
Coming down to Sunset
and just being in a club again.
I used to, like,
live for this. In the schedule,
like Mondays here,
Tuesdays here.
Like it was so much fun.
Don't tell me if I could guess
what your favorite
club was on Sunset.
- Can I guess?
And you tell me if I'm right. -Mm-hm.
Dublin's?
- Yeah.
Am I right?
- Yeah.
I don't even know
why I feel that way.
I just like, remember,
there was like a twinkle
in your eye.
I know.
[both laugh]
Paris: It was only
when we left the club...
Nicole: When we left.
- Paris: And they would just be insane.
[scoffs]
But when we were inside, it was
just like, I don't know, safe.
Like our own world.
- Yeah.
Nicole and I might have
seemed like an unlikely duo,
but it just worked.
She was is hilarious.
Razor sharp, totally unfiltered.
We were opposites
in the best way, bonded
by the same twisted humor and
a surreal Hollywood upbringing.
We grew up in the same paparazzi
fueled storm trying to find
ourselves while the world
watched. Almost no one knew
what I'd been through at those
troubled teen schools.
I kept that secret buried deep.
Not even Nicole knew.
Like everyone else, she
found out when my documentary,
This Is Pariscame out.
- I'm very proud of you.
I'm obviously like, you know,
learning all about it
in real time, you know?
And I think, like you being
on a discovery there is,
you know, so much that we
push down in our bodies.
And I'm really happy for you
that you are like opening
yourself up and, you know,
sharing it with people
who need to hear it.
And as a kid,
it was just so traumatizing
and horrible to go through that,
I think to protect myself.
Like I didn't even want
to think it was real.
But when you stop carrying your
secrets alone, something shifts.
It opens the door to connection,
to healing.
Nicole will always
be one of my people.
We've grown up.
Found our peace
and come out the other side.
I'll always be grateful for
the laughs, the love, and for
surviving it all together.
But the fact
that I can talk about my pain
and turn it into a true purpose
has been so cathartic.
I'm very proud of you.
- Thank you.
It's just so badass.
Just to know...
Like they messed
with the wrong girl.
Yeah.
- Mm-hm.
And now we can look back,
not just with relief,
but with real fondness.
I really see my album,
Infinite Iconis like
the third chapter of a trilogy
almost.
Finding out who I am
and reclaiming my story.
Just following the dream that I
have when I was a little girl.
Mom: What's your name again?
- Paula Abdul.
[dreamy theme playing]
Even though the gods
are crazy
Even though
the stars are blind
If you show me your love, baby
I'll show you mine
Thank you for joining me
on this journey.
This visual memoir.
I hope more than anything,
it's given you a little hope,
a little strength,
a reason to keep going.
To keep choosing the light,
even when it's hard to find.
If you show me real love, baby
I'll show you mine
Infinite Iconis not the end.
It's just the beginning.
It's a portal
to infinite possibilities.
A universe where we can all
feel seen, safe and free to be
exactly who we are.
Let the music guide you.
Find your beat.
Write your lyrics.
Dance in your own rhythm.
This is your space.
Own it, live it, slive it.
It's you and me. To infinity.
To infinity
Your love came down
like Heaven on Earth
You stopped the world
when you put me first
I finally get what I deserve
It's you and me
'til infinity
Made a wish
on a shooting star
And I waited patiently
For your love
to find my heart
Knowin' you could save me
Ooh, baby, baby
You, you make me crazy
Now, nothing can phase me
Ever since your love came down
like Heaven on Earth
You stopped the world
when you put me first
I finally get what I deserve
It's you and me
'til infinity
It's you and me
'til infinity
It's you and me
'til infinity
You're my man, I'm your moon
You came fallin' from the blue
Galaxies above
now you're in my arms
I'm not lettin' you
go 'cause
Ooh, baby, baby
You, you make me crazy
Who knew love would save me?
Ever since your love came down
like Heaven on Earth
You stopped the world
when you put me first
I finally get what I deserve
It's you and me
'til infinity
It's you and me
'til infinity
It's you and me
'til infinity
It's you and me
'til infinity
It's you and me
'til infinity
You and me
You and me 'til infinity
You and me
You and me 'til infinity
'Til infinity
[cheering]
I used to be an island
when I was young
Too proud to rely on anyone
But then I saw you smilin'
and I was home
Now you're the air
that's fillin' up my lungs
Don't wanna live
without love
Everything about love
Don't wanna live
without love
'Cause I don't wanna
live without love
Don't wanna live
without love
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
Don't wanna live
without love
Everything about love
Don't wanna live
without love
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
Don't wanna live
without love
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
You go down easy
I see you, you see me
Right in the middle
of a crowd
You go down easy
I see you, you see me
Don't wanna
be without you now
You go down easy
I see you, you see me
Right in the middle
of a crowd
You go down easy
I see you, you see me
Don't wanna be
without you now
Don't wanna live
without love
Everything about love
Everything about love
Don't wanna
live without love
Don't wanna
live without love
'Cause I wouldn't be
living at all
I don't want
to live without love
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
'Cause I wouldn't
be living at all
[cheering]
Hey, you guys having fun?
Me, too.
I've had a lot of iconic nights
in my life, but this is
the one most iconic one yet.
So good to see everyone.
Hi, Darren. Yes.
All right.
Well, is everyone ready
to hear the most iconic
pop song ever made?
[cheering]
[intro to "Stars Are Blind"
playing]
Maybe I'm perfect for you
[vocalizing]
Maybe I'm perfect for you
Maybe I'm perfect for you
I don't mind
spending some time
Just hanging here with you
'Cause I don't find
too many guys
That treat me like you do
Those other guys don't
wanna take me for a ride
But when I walk
they talk of suicide
Some people never get
beyond their stupid pride
But you can see
the real me inside
And I'm satisfied. Oh, no
Even though
the gods are crazy
Even though
the stars are blind
If you show me real love, baby
I'll show you mine
I can make it
nice and naughty
Be the devil and angel too
Got a heart and soul and body
Let's see
what this love can do
Maybe I'm perfect for you
I could be your confidante
Just one of your girlfriends
But I know
that's not what you want
If tomorrow the world ends
Why shouldn't we be with
the one we really love?
Now tell me
who have you been dreaming of?
I and I alone
Oh no, oh
Even though
the gods are crazy
Even though
the stars are blind
If you show me real love, baby
I'll show you mine
I can make it
nice and naughty
Be the devil and angel too
Got a heart and soul and body
Let's see
what this love can do
Maybe I'm perfect for you
Excuse me for feeling
This moment is critical
It might be revealing
We could get physical
Oh no. No, no
Even though
the gods are crazy
Even though
the stars are blind
If you show me real love, baby
I'll show you my mine
I can make it
nice and naughty
Be the devil and angel too
Got a heart
and soul and body
Let's see
what this love can do
Maybe I'm perfect for you
Maybe I'm perfect for you
Even though
the gods are crazy
Even though
the stars are blind
If you show me real love, baby
I'll show you mine
I can make it
nice and naughty
Be the devil and angel too
Got a heart, and soul
and body
Let's see
what this love can do
Maybe I'm perfect for you
Maybe I'm perfect for you
Maybe I'm perfect
Maybe I'm perfect
Maybe I'm perfect for you
[cheering]
I love you all so much.
Thank you, amazing dancers.
Whoo!
- Maybe I'm perfect for you
Maybe I'm perfect for you
I love you guys.
Never forget you're a princess.
Love you!
Whoo!
She came on stage for
the Infinite Icon
Experience at Palladium.
Uh... I definitely cried.
To hear that roar of the crowd
and to see how much it
also meant to other people.
[chanting]
Paris. Paris. Paris.
[Paris chuckles]
She said that was the best
night of my life, Carter.
And I said, well,
it's probably the second best
night of your life, yeah?
And she, like, only Paris can
like, kind of got closer to me,
held my hand and said, Carter,
I've been dreaming of this day
well before I ever dreamed
of getting married.
I've had a lot of iconic nights
in my life, but this is
the one most iconic one yet.
[cheering]
- [laughs]
Paris has accomplished so much,
but the one thing she always
dreamed of being a pop star.
Music just kind of feels
like unfinished business
to her, I think.
You know, she wants people
to take her seriously as a
musician, not just Paris Hilton,
who launched music.
And when she says music saved
her life, I think she'd been
pretty serious about that.
I know they'll remember me
for the glamor and fantasy
We know in reality
That loving you is my legacy
