Mirror Life (2025) Movie Script
(bright music) (graphics swooshing)
(text thuds)
(heart beating)
(victim screaming)
[Announcer] Attention, attention.
Lockdown protocols are in effect.
(victim screams) (gun fires)
(victim crashes) (dispatch
speaks indistinctly)
All patients must report to
their rooms for processing.
(alarm wailing) (heart beating)
(gun fires)
You fucker!
(fists and feet thudding)
(patient groaning)
Tough guy.
[Announcer] Leaving
the premises is prohibited
by all personnel.
(fists and feet thudding)
(patient groans and whines)
Violators of protocol will be detained!
(alarm wailing) (patient gargling)
(ominous music)
[Doctor] Gina?
Gina?
(ominous music)
You don't have to feel ashamed.
You can talk to me.
You're safe here.
(ominous music)
You don't remember anything?
(child screams)
No.
(ominous music)
[Doctor] What's the last
thing you do remember?
(child screams)
I was sick in bed.
(ominous music)
[Doctor] Your niece and
nephew, do you remember them?
(child screams)
- No! No!
- I can't...
I'm just here to help you.
(ominous music)
I need to get the fuck outta here!
[Doctor] Gina, please.
I need to get out!
[Doctor] If you have a
seat and, we can talk about it.
(Gina screaming and bellowing)
What happened to your face, Gina?
I want to leave.
[Doctor] I can't let you do
that if you don't talk to me.
(ominous music)
(door buzzing and clicking)
(door squeaks and clicks)
(feet clacking)
(chair screeching)
(chair creaks)
Okay, how are we today, Gina?
Gina?
I'd like to talk about the
scratches on your face.
Did you do that to yourself?
Was it one of the guards?
(eerie music) (alarm wailing)
[Doctor] Open the door! Open the door!
Open the fucking door!
Open the fucking door!
- Rolling?
- Mm-hmm.
I'm Tracy Kowalski and I am shooting
this documentary to keep an explicit record
on the search for my cousin Jordan
who has literally disappeared.
This is a picture like from
the last time I saw my cousin.
[Ike] That's a nice picture.
Um, I've been able to
put some pieces together.
Not all of them.
He went in for an experimental study
for a drug called Dumitor.
He was low on cash
and he submitted himself.
I traced back Dumitor,
I've been doing research on the drug,
and so far I can trace it
back to three scientists:
Donovan Miller, Will
Taylor and Elias Campbell.
So Taylor and Miller, I
couldn't really find a lot,
there's some Linkedln profiles.
But, Campbell, this guy is just not...
He has a history.
I mean, he's charged with
fraud, gross malpractice,
charges were eventually dropped, whatever.
According to his Linkedln profile now,
he's working with a company
Precision Pharmaceuticals.
Don't get me started on this
company. It's completely shady.
It's-it's... I mean,
everything you can imagine.
There's, like, lawsuits,
criminal charges, conspiracy theories.
[Ike] Yeah, I know, I
read all about that company.
And, I mean, other than their
super friendly commercials
and the spokesperson,
that company's pretty grimey.
And it's partially owned by this guy.
[Ike] Lemme see.
Jacob Gosling.
[Ike] Oh. Oh, yeah, he looks trustworthy.
So I hired my friend Ike
here to film this documentary.
That's me. I don't know if
I got myself, but whatever.
(camera clicks)
(sighs) So that's
basically all I could find.
(screen thuds) (vehicles humming)
(people chattering)
[Receptionist] Thank you for waiting.
Mr. Gosling will be with you shortly.
Elias, how did you hear about this guy?
Through the grapevine. Why?
I just heard things.
Like what?
Like his rise to the
top wasn't necessarily
the most, um, ethical.
He knows people in the FDA and the CDC.
He has money and influence.
Elias, it's been a long time.
It's good to see you.
This is Will Taylor and Donovan Miller.
Please sit, I've read your proposal.
Some intriguing data there.
Thank you.
What exactly does this drug cure?
Uh, everything.
Everything?
Well, I mean, not at
first, but it has the potential.
We have to test it on people.
We've had successful tests
with 30 macaque monkeys.
Uh-huh, but how does
this miracle drug work?
(groans) It's a little bit complicated.
Educate me.
Are you familiar with cellular biology?
Yes.
Then you know what a cell is?
Yes.
Cells have organelles.
Organelles are like mini organs.
They make a cell perform its function.
One of these organelles
is called a ribosome.
Ribosomes create proteins
from amino acids and RNA,
transcoded from DNA, which basically
Mr. Gosling, what he's
Uh, call me Jacob.
Mr. Gosling makes me sound like an asshole.
(group chuckles)
Jacob, think of it like this.
The human body is like a computer.
We run on operating systems.
In our case, our cells,
molecules are right-handed.
It's called chirality.
So how does this tie
into Donovan's ribosome?
Right, (chuckles)
well, I'm glad you asked.
Basically, we are able to hack into
a ribosome and create a synthetic version
or another operating system that
can create a molecule's chiral twin.
Its mirror image.
Or mirror life, if you will.
And?
Well, in time, the mirrored proteins
that were created from this ribosome
can create their own proteins.
Essentially, we can tailor these
to eradicate any illness that we want.
I'm sorry, boys, but this sounds more
like science fiction than science.
Jacob, I've been a part of
this team for over a year now.
These guys are for real.
What if the systems aren't compatible?
They're not, we thought ahead though.
Since we tailor these ribosomes,
we were able to endow them with
a chiral fatty acid membrane to prevent
the interaction between the two systems.
Right, it's kind of how our body
can protect non-oxygenated blood from air.
Yes.
(ominous music)
And you wanna test this on people?
(chuckles) Right, yeah, phew.
Human beings, you do realize
what you're asking me for?
Yes.
(ominous music)
Do you have a location
for this experiment?
Yes.
(ominous music)
Let me be clear.
If we do business, you must be discreet.
And we wanna keep
this as private as you do.
I insist on hiring a
private security firm to help
to keep things in order.
(stammers) Mr. Gosling, I
Jacob.
Jacob, I don't think that's necessary.
I insist.
Okay.
Good, you boys have your funding.
(Donovan chuckles)
And, fellas, don't fuck it up.
(unsettling music) (chair creaks)
- Good to see you, Jacob.
- You too.
Now let's get to work.
(screen thuds)
(ominous music)
(tongue clicking)
(drum beating)
(tongue clicking)
Stop staring at me.
You're a good looking woman.
(patient chuckles) (lips smacking)
What are you looking at?
(ominous music)
Can I help you?
What's with you?
Dude, gimme a break.
I've been cooped up in here for two weeks.
I'm about to pull my hair out. (Sighs)
We're getting paid to sit
on our ass for a month, be grateful.
Yeah. Bullshit pay, that's what.
Have you even thought about
what they are testing on us?
(unsettling music)
I'm serious, why aren't we
allowed to leave the premises?
Why are there armed
security guards outside?
I think you're being paranoid.
And I think you have a great ass
and I would love to spank it.
You need to cut that shit out.
Or what?
(feet clacking)
[Security] Everything okay here, guys?
Yeah, yeah, we're fine.
How 'bout you, man?
I'm talking to you.
I heard you.
(chuckles) Tough guy.
You kids behave now.
(lips smacking) (ominous music)
(feet clacking)
Okay, okay.
Sorry about that.
How's the wife?
She's fine.
- She calls you a lot.
- Yeah, you know,
my head's all stuck at work here.
I had a wife once.
What happened?
Too many phone calls.
So which one is it?
[Will] It's Rosemary here.
She has acute asthma.
She's breathing normal for now.
But?
Well, when she first got
here, she wouldn't shut up,
so we upped her dosage
and now she's quiet as can be.
I think she's okay, but
I'll take a look at her.
What about the others?
[Will] Lindsey, hypothyroidism
seems to be clearing up.
- Keith?
- Spastic colitis.
But not as chronic as it was two weeks ago.
Halfway there.
Yeah.
(hand slaps) (ominous music)
Dr. Lyons normally does this,
but he's at a funeral.
Right, so, the program has
gone through the first two weeks.
My migraines are gone.
Completely?
Yeah, your little wonder drug works.
Um. (Chuckles)
When do I get paid?
Uh, well, the-the test phase
runs for another two weeks.
We have to monitor, make
sure there aren't any side effects.
You haven't felt any?
No.
No skin irritations, no hypertension?
Are you sure?
Want me to turn my head and cough?
(chuckles) No, that won't be necessary.
Thank you. (Clears throat)
(pump hissing and popping)
(Rosemary inhales and exhales)
(machine beeping) (unsettling music)
(strap screeches)
How's it looking, Doc?
Your blood pressure's high.
Is that bad?
Well, according to your chart,
it was normal two weeks ago.
(folder crackling)
Are you accusing me of something?
No. But I do think it's
something to be concerned with.
Don't you think?
(folder crackling)
Now according to your chart,
Dr. Taylor has noticed
changes in your behavior as well.
I feel fine.
(folder thuds)
What's that?
That's torsemide, it
reduces hypertension.
Well, I thought the medication
was supposed to do that.
Well, it seems to be causing it.
I think we need to talk to Dr. Taylor
before we do any... It will be fine.
I'm really not comfortable... Rosemary!
Rosemary, please.
You just have to trust me.
(machine beeping)
There. That wasn't so bad, was it?
Are we done?
Yes. We're done.
(machine beeping)
[Announcer] For every health
decision, you want precision.
Precision Pharmaceuticals.
(people speaks indistinctly) (TV fizzing)
[Lindsey] Hi.
Hey.
Anything interesting on?
Nah, I'm just killing time.
Ooh. Go back.
(ominous music) (chainsaw whining)
Good movie.
Thanks for sticking up for me earlier.
You know, with Keith.
He's a fucking idiot.
I don't know.
The way he looked at me earlier was weird.
I know that look.
I got your back.
So what are you gonna do,
I mean, you know, after we get out of here?
I don't know, probably just going to look
for more work, you?
I don't know.
I don't really wanna go home.
(victim whining)
(victim screams) (camera clicks)
[Ike] So, how long has
your cousin been gone?
Jordan's been missing for three weeks.
Damn. So, I mean, what are we doing here?
Shouldn't we be like looking or something
He was seeing this doctor,
Liebowitz, for his migraines.
And that's who recommended
him for an experimental study.
Some new drug called Dumitor.
He went in and no one has
seen or heard from him since.
[Ike] Well, Mr. Liebowitz
needs to hurry up
'cause of the curfew, you know?
(Tracy speaking indistinctly)
Excuse me, excuse me, Dr. Liebowitz?
- Yes.
- Hi.
Are you recording this?
Yeah. My name is Tracy Kowalski.
I'm sorry. I was just on
my way in to see you.
I'm sorry, we're closed for the day,
but if you'd like to make an appointment
for next week, you can
just visit our website
Okay, I'm actually, I'm
just making a documentary.
Why are you recording this?
Um, my cousin Jordan is missing,
and I know he's a patient of yours.
That is doctor-client
privilege, okay, so just...
Look, I'm late for an
appointment... Just, excuse me, but
No one has seen or
heard from him in weeks.
I went to where the experiment was
and that place is abandoned.
I don't know what to tell you.
- You have to know something!
- I don't know
what to tell you.
- You have to know something.
- Hey, get off my...
- If you know what's good
for you, you'll fucking drop it now, okay?
Now get the hell out of
here or I call the cops!
Good! Do it, call the cops.
- Let's get them down here!
- Yeah, okay,
let's get them down here!
- Tracy, you know what?
Come on. Come on.
Fuck, are you kidding me?
What the hell was that?
[Ike] I don't know, but
maybe we shouldn't take
a chance, you know
Well, he obviously knows something.
Who would-who'd freak out like that?
(camera clicks and beeps)
[Ike] Can you believe this guy?
I'm still shaking.
[Ike] Yeah, he, um
he's got to be hiding something.
Nobody gets that crazy
for no reason, you know?
What the fuck was that?
[Ike] I don't know. He
grabbed my fucking camera.
He's lucky my shit is all right now.
That just like did not go at all
how I wanted it to go, that was...
[Ike] I mean, you gotta be
onto something, Tracy, honestly.
I know.
[Ike] So, I mean, what
do you wanna do next?
I wanna go visit Wendy.
Jordan's ex-girlfriend.
[Ike] Okay.
I wanna go to her place.
[Ike] Where she's at?
She's close, she's just,
she's not answering any of my messages.
I wanna go see her.
[Ike] All right.
(ominous music)
Rosemary, (speaking indistinctly).
Hold your arm still please.
(ominous music)
- Ow, ow, that hurts!
- Would you stop
moving your arm, please!
(ominous music)
- Ah!
- Shit.
(Rosemary whines)
Rosemary?
Stay back. Don't come
any closer! (Panting)
I want my husband.
I thought you said your husband was dead?
Oh god, you're lying.
You don't know what the
fuck you're talking about!
He's in the building! (Panting)
(phone clicks)
What are you doing with that?
I'm just making a phone call.
You put the fucking weapon down now!
Wait, what are you seeing right now?
You think this is a weapon?
What's going on here?
You stay back!
(pan clangs) (Will crashes)
Easy does it, Rosemary.
- Get away from me!
- Everything's fine.
Don't come any closer to me!
We're your friends here.
(unsettling music)
(taser buzzing) (Rosemary screams)
(Rosemary crashes and
groans) (ominous music)
You okay?
What the hell happened to her?
(mouse clicking) (ominous music)
Good God.
What?
Her asthma's healing,
but her body's producing
unhealthy levels of epinephrine.
Well, that explains the hypertension.
And why that bedpan nearly broke my arm.
(unsettling music)
This isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Mr. Gosling, she's
producing unnatural levels
of epinephrine, it's
destroying her nervous system.
She's on a constant adrenaline rush.
She's a ticking time bomb.
What do you think?
We should move forward.
Are you out of your mind?
We need to shut down the entire program.
Quarantine everyone until we're sure
that no one else has been infected.
She's not contagious.
She just had a negative
reaction to the formula.
It was bound to happen.
We should cut her loose,
pay her in full, and call it a day.
Will?
(ominous music)
With the exception of Rosemary,
the drug works.
All right then.
But I wanna examine her first.
She's not a lab rat, Will.
Fine, you examine her.
You see if there's anything
you could do for her.
You have 72 hours.
Or what?
(unsettling music)
(door clicks) (machine beeping)
Hi, Rosemary.
What's that?
I'm just giving you your medication.
Which one?
Excuse me?
Which medication?
We've only been giving you one.
(suspenseful music)
Rosemary, has someone
given you another dosage?
Who?
(ominous music) (machine beeping)
What the hell are you thinking?
What are you talking about?
Rosemary?
I gave her torsemide.
Her blood pressure was high.
We can't just mix and match medications.
We have no idea what
that can do to the coding.
The dosage I gave her was totally benign.
Elias, we're not testing cough syrup!
You're screwing with my formula!
Your formula, so this little lecture
isn't about Rosemary, is it?
Never mind what happens to her.
We're only human, Will.
See, that's funny coming from you.
Why don't you stop riding my ass
and pay a little bit more attention
to what your friend Don's
been doing in the lab?
Maybe he miscalculated or something.
Like I said, Will, we're only human.
(folder scratches) (feet clacking)
(Will sighs)
[Donovan] So that means
we don't know enough about
what we're doing here!
That's the danger of the whole thing!
And I'm not making any sense?
[Elias] She is a subject!
She's a subject. We
are testing this process!
[Donovan] She's a subject
that you don't care about.
[Elias] It's not relevant
if I care about her.
[Donovan] She's a human being!
She's a human, don't you understand that?
(speaking indistinctly)
[Elias] We are in a process here.
We're in a process that's failing!
If you have miscalculated the formula,
then that is your fault.
- Everybody dies in
this hospital, then it's your fault!
If she dies, that is not a problem to me!
That's not a problem
for a human being to die?
She needs to be quarantined.
Let it be on the record,
she needs to be quarantined.
- The subject needs to...
(clapperboard slaps)
Oh my God!
[Ike] What's going on?
It's just (murmurs)...
This is Wendy's apartment building.
Wendy is Jordan's ex-girlfriend.
And she's not answering.
She's not answering fucking text,
calls, emails, Facebook messages.
Just completely MIA
at the exact same time as Jordan.
It's just weird.
Yeah, it's... It just, it blows my mind.
- It's insane.
- Maybe they
- went off together.
- Oh, grab that!
Oh, damn dude.
Um, guys, I'm not comfortable with this.
- What are you...
- What?
Getting in there.
I'm not paying you to be comfortable.
I'm paying you to help me.
[Crew Member] Oh yeah. I'm sorry.
Are you...
[Ike] You know what? Come on.
You know what? Forget it, Tracy, come on.
It's two minutes, two minutes.
- Nope.
- Fine. Awesome.
Great, well, I'll just do it myself.
[Ike] Yeah, you know what?
Also, lemme change my lens because
- Kidding me.
- We're actually
(camera beeps)
- Can you smell that?
- Dude, whoa.
What is that?
[Ike] I don't think I've ever smelled
- anything like that.
- Oh my God.
Dude, that's fucking nasty!
[Ike] Oh my God!
Yeah, no, as soon as you get right here,
it's really bad. (Coughing)
[Tracy] I can't breathe. (Coughing)
It's coming... Is that
It's coming from, yeah, it's
coming from her apartment.
- Okay.
- Oh my God.
It's like... (retches)
Come on, just fuck it.
[Ike] Are you sure
you wanna walk in there?
(Tracy coughing)
Oh.
[Ike] Oh.
(door knocking)
Oh my god, Wendy?
It's Tracy. I'm looking for Jordan.
(door knocking)
It's fucking, it's open.
[Ike] It's open?
Should we fucking go in?
[Ike] Yeah. Absolutely.
Lets just get this shit
done, man, it stinks.
(door squeaks)
- Oh!
- Oh my God!
(Ike coughing)
Oh my God.
[Ike] Yeah. That's pretty bad.
Come on. Let's get this over with.
- Oh my God.
- Is that your cousin?
Who is that?
I don't know.
(camera whines)
That's not Jordan.
What the fuck? Dude,
that guy is fucking dead.
(door squeaks)
W- Wendy?
- What the fuck?
- Are you okay?
[Ike] Tracy, we should probably go.
Wendy, where is Jordan?
- Tracy, um.
- I...
- She's got a hammer, Tracy.
- Shut the fuck up, I know.
Where's Jordan?
- Get out!
- Oh shit!
- Get out!
- Oh shit!
- Get out!
- Oh shit!
(camera clicks)
What the hell just happened?
Should we have called the cops?
The cops, and tell them what exactly?
That we broke into someone's apartment
and that the girl who lived
there killed someone else,
and then she chased after us with
a hammer and fell down the stairs?
She's probably dead, Tracy.
The cops will just throw this away.
Okay, if you go to the cops,
all this is for nothing.
Don't you feel it? You're onto something.
I mean, first the doctor.
Now this-this craziness.
I don't even know what that was.
I never seen anything like that in my life.
We have to find these scientists.
Yeah, yeah, that's exactly
what we have to do, okay?
Uh, you know what?
I'm gonna-I'm gonna
back up this footage too.
[Tracy] Yeah.
(ominous music)
(machine beeping) (heart beating)
(unsettling music)
(machine beeping)
(eerie music) (machine beeping)
(unsettling music)
(phone ringing) (unsettling music)
Hello?
(ominous music) (phone ringing)
Hello?
(ominous music)
(door clattering) (ominous music)
Hello?
(ominous music)
(unsettling music) (guard hisses)
(unsettling music) (Rosemary panting)
(wall thuds) (guard panting)
(Jordan grunting)
(fist thudding)
(door thuds) (tense music)
(Lindsey screams) (tense music)
(feet clacking)
(Rosemary panting) (Lindsey screaming)
(suspenseful music) (Rosemary panting)
(door thuds) (Rosemary whines)
(guard inhaling and exhaling)
(suspenseful music)
(unsettling music) (Lindsey whines)
(door thuds) (unsettling music)
(guard inhaling and exhaling)
(door clattering)
(Lindsey groans) (unsettling music)
Lindsey, stop it's me.
It's Jordan, don't scream.
Shit, the floor is not that big.
We should head back.
We can smoke her out.
Stop, I'm gonna let you go.
It's not safe back there.
She's just a little girl.
And we don't know who else is out here.
(Jordan panting) (Lindsey panting)
Why's your shirt all bloody?
A guy-a guy in a gas
mask tried to choke me.
I don't know if he's dead or not.
(Jordan groans and pants)
It's me.
(suspenseful music) (lips smacking)
What is this place?
Hell if I know.
I think we're still in the complex.
(suspenseful music)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, let me go!
Let me go, no, no, ah!
(suspenseful music)
(case clicking)
(door squeaks)
(suspenseful music continues)
(unsettling music)
Hello?
(door knocks) (unsettling music)
Come on.
Donovan?
(unsettling music)
Reggie?
[Speaker] Where are you doing?
What are you doing?
(unsettling music)
Where are you going?
Downstairs.
(unsettling music)
(fist thuds) (Donovan screaming)
(weapon thuds) (Reggie whines)
(Donovan panting)
Ah!
(weapon thuds) (Reggie grunts)
Ah. (Gargling)
(weapon crunches) (guard screams)
(neck pops) (unsettling music)
(ominous music)
What are you doing?
My job.
Donovan?
Will, why are you wearing gas masks?
It went airborne, Don.
(Donovan sighs)
That's why we shut down the elevators.
I was afraid this would happen.
We need your help,
Don. They're downstairs.
We can't risk contamination.
What do you want me to do?
Just find them. Bring 'em to us.
(unsettling music)
(speaking indistinctly) (patient laughing)
- Tell me what this means!
- Ah!
Who's that screaming?
I don't know.
I'll fucking bite your face off! Ah!
What do the tests mean?
It sounds like Keith.
Yeah, it's funny? Funny guy? (Laughing)
I'm not going down there.
It'll be alright. Don't worry.
You want something
to laugh about funny guy?
- Yeah.
- I'll give you something
- to smile about.
- Yeah, go ahead!
- You want it?
- Cut it up, ah, ah!
Yeah, here it comes, you piece
Keith, what are you doing?
- Get off me.
- Get back
He's a fucking liar!
This is all his fault!
Just back off!
Yeah. Look at this, go ahead, read it.
(ominous music)
What?
(Elias chuckling)
It's an email between Elias
and some guy named Jacob.
He's talking about us.
Twin ribosome adapting abnormally
in Lindsey, Jordan and Rosemary.
What the fuck? What
the hell does this mean?
We have to be careful.
The walls have ears.
He's talking about the
guys with the gas masks.
Dr. Campbell, what is this email about?
The boogeyman with the magic wands.
I'm going to shut this fucking guy up.
- Keith!
- Guys, stop.
- Stay back!
- Outta my way.
Dr. Campbell, what does that email mean?!
They're hunting you down
one by one!
Enough! Shut him the fuck up!
Relax, dude!
(Elias chuckling)
It's not a virus!
It's something else.
Who has it?
You do.
You do.
And you do.
It got Rosemary first,
then she had a little cough,
and then everybody went crazy.
I guess-I guess we
didn't contain it very well.
Is it terminal?
(suspenseful music)
(Elias laughing)
Dr. Campbell, please.
Life is terminal if you
live long enough, honey.
This is new life.
It's growing inside of you.
Inside of you. Inside of you.
It's a shame I won't be around to see it.
But there's a cure.
It's behind a door on another floor.
- A door? What door?
- Upstairs, R68.
You need a key. The crazy
bogeymen had the key.
You have to get it from him.
It's your only chance for your salvation.
Shut the fuck up!
(weapon thuds) (blood crackling)
Keith, what the fuck?
- Why did you do that?
- What are you doing?
Don't you get it?
He was lying to us.
We were an experiment.
The guy who he was
writing to works for the CDC.
The Center for Disease Control.
(chuckles) You know what? Fuck it.
You guys can wait until he wakes up.
I'm outta here.
You can go find the door
behind a floor with another
door and two more floors!
And suck a fucking dick!
(weapon crashing) (ominous music)
Come on, let's go.
(ominous music)
(suspenseful music)
(Keith chuckling)
I can't believe this. (Chuckles)
Believe what?
(chuckles) All of this.
Three weeks ago,
I was getting stoned with
my buddies. (Laughing)
And now, I'm in hell in the middle
of a government conspiracy. (Laughing)
There's no government conspiracy.
Says you!
(suspenseful music)
(Keith sighs)
(weapon clinks)
(suspenseful music continues)
Don't even think about it.
You know we're gonna die, right?
(weapon clinks)
There's two of us.
There's just one of her.
Nobody's gonna find out.
That's it. Get up, we're leaving.
Come on. Get up, right now.
We are leaving, get up!
Jordan.
(weapon thuds) (Lindsey screaming)
(tense music)
(Lindsey screaming and whining)
Fuck you!
(limbs thudding) (Keith whining)
(fist thuds) (tense music)
Get the fuck off me! Get off, no!
(Lindsey screams) (tense music)
(head thudding)
You like it rough, baby?
Yeah, I know what you want.
- Get the fuck off of me!
(tense music) (Lindsey screaming)
[Keith] Come on, baby.
Fuck you!
(Jordan grunts) (Keith crashes)
(suspenseful music)
Ah, ah, ah.
Ah, ah, ah.
(fist thudding) (unsettling music)
You fucking piece of fucking shit!
(fist thudding) (Keith gargling)
(Jordan grunts) (heart beating)
(unsettling music)
- Ah!
- Lindsey, It's okay! It's me.
Dr. Miller? (Whimpering)
Come with me, I can help you, come on.
(suspenseful music)
(door clicks)
(taser buzzes) (Lindsey whines)
Hey, what are you guys doing?
Take her.
(feet clacking) (Donovan groans)
Fuck off, Miller!
Hey, what the hell, Will, Will?!
Open the fucking door!
Open the fucking door!
I'm gonna kill you, you piece of shit!
You're fucking dead!
Where the fuck are they taking her?
Where the fuck are they taking her?
Stop. Calm down.
Calm down, sh.
Calm down, calm down.
She's bait, Jordan.
She's bait. (Panting)
Come on, let go.
Let go, please. (Panting)
Where's Keith? (Panting)
Are they gonna kill her?
I don't know.
I don't know, honestly, ah!
Doc, what the hell happened?
(Donovan groans)
Something went wrong with the drug.
- What?
- It was working and
and-and then it wasn't.
It's spreading, it's gone
airborne, and we have it.
Then why am I not sick?
Why isn't Lindsey sick?
You guys are different.
(ominous music)
Kill me, please, just kill me, please.
It doesn't matter.
What? No, no.
No one's getting out
of this alive, Jordan.
(suspenseful music)
Here, take it.
Where is she?
Where?
Fourth floor, you can
take the freight elevator.
It's the only way up.
(suspenseful music)
I never meant to hurt anyone.
We only had good intentions.
(door thuds) (suspenseful music)
Forgive me, mother.
(suspenseful music)
(Will inhaling and exhaling)
(suspenseful music continues)
Dr Taylor?
Yeah. It's me, Lindsey.
Where am I?
Shut the fuck up.
Sean, I don't think that's necessary.
Whose side are you on, Doc, huh?
We got a job to finish.
Keep an eye on her.
(suspenseful music)
(elevator humming)
(bell dings) (doors scratching)
What are you gonna do, kill me?
No.
(Lindsey speaking indistinctly)
(taser buzzing) (Jordan groans)
Jordan!
- Be quiet.
- Help!
Sean, I can't let you do this.
(tape crackling) (Lindsey grunts)
We can still learn from them.
- Jordan?
- We can still help them.
Jordan, come on.
(Lindsey and Jordan groaning)
Stay back, Jacob probably
told you to come down here
and clean things up, right?
We can still save them, Sean.
You don't get it, Doc.
There's no saving them now.
(gun fires) (Will crashes)
(gun caulks)
Sorry, Doc.
(shoes squeaking) (tense music)
(door thuds) (suspenseful music)
(door thuds) (feet clacking)
(doors clattering)
(unsettling music)
(gun fires) (suspenseful music)
(Sean inhaling and exhaling)
(weapon thudding)
You fucker!
(fist thudding) (Jordan groaning)
(neck crackling)
Tough guy.
(Jordan groaning) (fist slapping)
(Jordan crashes) (tense music)
(feet and fists thudding) (Jordan whining)
(Jordan grunting)
(Jordan gargling) (Sean grunting)
(fist thudding) (Jordan grunting)
(ominous music)
(Jordan groans and pants)
(material rustling and crackling)
(keys rattling)
[Jordan] (groans) Ah.
(suspenseful music)
(door clicks and squeaks)
(suspenseful music continues)
(keys rattling) (feet scratching)
(door clicks and squeaks) (alarm whining)
(people chattering) (vehicles whirring)
(suspenseful music)
Of course I wanna go to the festival,
but I have to babysit this weekend.
Well, I committed to doing
it, and the kids are excited,
and my sister will kill
me if I cancel last minute.
(suspenseful music) (vehicles whirring)
Are you okay?
(vehicle whirring) (sirens wailing)
Do you need help?
Gina, are you still there, Gina?
[Reporter] Breaking news,
Precision Pharmaceuticals
has just announced that they are days away
from producing a cure on a mass scale.
We take you live to Washington.
(vehicles whirring) (horns honk)
(reporter speaking indistinctly)
[Tracy] Here's the
street, here's the street.
[Commentator] A team of industry leaders
are working around the clock.
We can say with the utmost sincerity,
we are days away from ending this pandemic.
We ask the public to please remain calm
and shelter in your homes.
Do not travel unless absolutely necessary.
If you or any of your loved ones begin...
The scientist who
created Mirror Life, Dumitor,
this is where he lives.
So that's why we're checking it out.
(camera clicks)
- All right.
- And it's a
fucking crime scene.
[Ike] Let's do this, yo.
Um, lemme, uh, I'm just
actually gonna change the
I'm gonna change the lens really quick.
Gimme a second.
(camera click)
Crime scene. Do not cross.
[Ike] Yeah, that's, um,
that's gonna be a problem.
(birds chirping)
What are you thinking?
I mean, this guy
created the drug, Dumitor,
and now his house is a crime scene?
Yeah, that's a little...
And my cousin that
was taking the drug is missing?
It just doesn't add up.
[Ike] Tracy, are you gonna go in there?
I don't... Do you think I care, honestly?
(crew member speaking indistinctly)
[Ike] I dunno.
(crickets croaking)
Tracy, be careful.
- Everything's blocked off.
[Announcer] Emergency
curfew is now in effect!
Violators will be detained and processed!
(crickets croaking)
I think that's a quarantine area.
[Ike] You think so?
I'm almost positive. Yeah.
(crickets croaking)
[Ike] Well, that makes it more fishy.
(sighs) Oh god, it's
like another dead end.
(Ike sighs)
Okay.
Fuck.
(lid thuds)
We'll go around back.
- Do wanna take the back?
- Yeah.
(camera click)
[Ike] You hear something?
(birds chirping)
It's so closed off though, you see that?
They're all curtained up.
They're all boarded up. I don't...
[Ike] What kind of shit
was your cousin into?
(sighs) Nothing. He's a good kid.
It's just his fucking doctor, I don't...
[Ike] I guess you're right.
I hope there's no, like,
attack dogs or nothing.
(door creaking and clattering)
Oh my god.
(Tracy sighs) (birds chirping)
[Ike] Fuck, so, uh...
I don't know, it's another dead end.
Do you think, like, the
like the neighbors know anything?
- I mean, it's worth shot.
- We can ask about
what kind of guy he was.
You know, if he had a family,
maybe his family knows something, anything?
[Ike] Yeah, maybe they know why there's
some police tape or something?
(birds chirping)
These damn trees, yo.
Yeah, fuck.
It's like, that window's open.
[Ike] What's that?
Wait. What the...
- Whoa! Holy shit.
- Whoa.
- Hi, guys.
- Hey, hey, hey
- Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
- Whoa
The guns are not-not necessary!
Not necessary. We
weren't touching anything.
We did not go inside.
- Down on your knees!
- Hands on your head!
No, please, please.
I'm not gonna say it again!
(dispatch speaking indistinctly)
Run!
(gun firing) (group clamoring)
Get off me! Get off me!
[Ike] Tracy. (Groaning)
(gun firing) (Tracy screaming)
(Tracy gasping and
whining) (airplane whirring)
Get off, get the fuck off. (Whimpering)
(hand slapping) (dispatch
speaks indistinctly)
[Soldier] You got the camera?
Jacob's gonna wanna see that.
(camera clicks) (ominous music)
(gun firing and popping)
(helicopter fluttering) (unsettling music)
(dispatch speaking indistinctly)
(eerie music) (soldier groaning)
(siren wailing) (ominous music)
(tape screeching)
(phone ringing)
Why are you being so paranoid?
You should answer that.
(phone ringing)
It's your little sister.
(phone ringing)
Hannah. No, no, you
have to stay where you are.
No. It's airborne.
Yeah, like you can't go outside
or your gonna get it, okay?
Is that mom? Why is she yelling?
I gotta go. Okay?
You gotta take this.
I got-I gotta go to the basement.
(door clicks) (eerie music)
Hey, Hannah?
Hannah, I can't hear
you over all the yelling.
Tell your mom...
(phone beeping)
Hello?
Will, the phone went dead.
(bell dinging)
(door knocking)
Will?
(door knocking)
(ominous music) (bell dinging)
(door knocking)
Will?
(door thuds)
Sh, go upstairs and lock
yourself in one of the bedrooms.
Why?
He's here.
- A gun?
- Sh.
If he gets inside, we're dead.
- Who's out there?
- Go upstairs, please.
Just go. Go.
(gun clicking) (ominous music)
(ominous music)
(Will inhaling and exhaling)
(door squeaks and clicks) (tense music)
(Will inhaling and exhaling)
(unsettling music)
(Will gasping and whining)
This is all your fucking fault.
This is all your fucking fault!
(fist thudding)
(gun fires)
Get away from my husband!
This is all his fault.
Sarah, run!
Put the gun down.
Stop.
Put the gun down.
Stop.
(gun fires)
(birds squawking)
(somber music)
Who was that?
I told you not to come outside.
What was he talking about?
Why was he saying that it was your fault?
Not now, Sarah.
Look at me, please.
What did he mean by that?
Was he telling the truth?
No, this is not my fault.
We were just trying to help people.
How was I supposed to
know this was gonna happen?
And what happens now?
This thing, we're infected?
No, it's not an infection.
It depends on
it depends on the person.
(suspenseful music)
I have the cure.
I have to go to the lab.
I can do this.
If you're going, I'm going too.
No. You're staying here.
- No, I'm not.
- Yes you are.
We're not debating this.
I have to at least try.
(sirens wailing) (suspenseful music)
You stay here. Don't go outside.
Nobody comes in, okay?
Just wait for me to get back.
- Okay.
- Okay?
We're gonna be okay.
(lips smacking)
I love you.
(suspenseful music)
(ominous music) (birds chirping)
(gun fires) (sirens wailing)
(suspenseful music)

message has been initiated.

(unsettling music)
(plastic crackling)
Sarah! Help... Jesus!
Hannah, you scared the shit outta me.
What are you doing here?
[Hannah] Sarah, open the fucking door!
(door clattering)
Hannah, calm down!
Let me in, open the goddamn door!
(suspenseful music) (Hannah whining)
Sarah, Close the door!
Close the door!
(unsettling music)
Hey, Sarah.
Mr. Thompson?
Is that girl in there?
- There she is!
- Stop it right there.
I swear to God, I will shoot you!
She's not the girl you're looking for.
The girl you're looking for,
she went that way.
That way?
(unsettling music) (birds chirping)
Go, go, get inside!
Oh my God.
(door thuds)
Thanks for letting me in.
Why didn't you stay home?
We told you not to leave the house.
You could've gotten us killed.
I'm sorry.
You should go back
to your mother's house.
I can't.
Why not?
(ominous music)
She's dead.
She started flipping out.
And she-she came at me.
(Hannah sobbing and whimpering)
She had me cornered
and I pushed her
(Hannah sobbing)
And she fell. (Sobbing)
Why is everybody going crazy?
Sarah, I've killed my own mother.
(Hannah whimpering) (somber music)
(suspenseful music) (sirens wailing)
(ominous music)
(case clicks) (items clacking)
(items clinking and crashing)

(feet clacking) (eerie music)
(zombie screeching) (Will screaming)
(torch thudding)
(unsettling music)
(crickets croaking) (ominous music)
(dispatch chattering) (eerie music)
- Get up, get up!
- What, what, Sarah?
Sh, we have to hide, go!
The deck
- Where are you going?
- The deck.
- We can climb down from there.
- Fuck no!
Hannah, come on, shit.
(unsettling music) (crickets croaking)
(person screaming)
[Soldier] Hey, don't move!
We've located another female.
[Dispatch] Exterminate all infected.
I repeat, exterminate all infected.
(person screaming) (clock ticking)
(Sarah sighs)
- Mm.
- Wake up.
- Wake up.
- What?
Rise and shine.
We made it through the night.
(crickets croaking)
Mm.
(unsettling music)
(Hannah groaning)
What's wrong?
Nothing, stay here.
(ominous music)
(blinds rattling) (crickets croaking)

(unsettling music)
(door creaking)
(door thuds)
Hannah?
(ominous music)
Hannah, Hannah?
(ominous music)
(door clicks)
Hannah?
(door thuds)
Hannah, Hannah?
(ominous music) (birds chirping)
Hush, little baby
Don't say a word
[Sarah] Hannah?
Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird
[Sarah] Hannah?
(door clicks and creaks)
And if that mockingbird don't sing
Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring
Hannah?
(unsettling music)
Where were you?
Where was I?
I was... Do you know there's
a dead body in the basement?
He was gonna hurt Will.
Did you hurt Will, what?
(scissor scratching) (unsettling music)
Hannah, why do you have a
pair of scissors in your hand?
I don't have scissors.
Hannah?
You know what I think?
(unsettling music)
I think the outbreak is all your fault.
Hannah?
I think
you're a dirty
rotten
cunt!
(gun fires) (birds chirping)
(Sarah screaming)
(ominous music)
(water pattering)
(somber music)
(somber music continues) (birds chirping)

(floor creaking) (Sarah pants)
(table crashes)
No!
(head thuds) (Sarah whines and screams)
(zombie growling)
(pen thudding) (Sarah screaming)
(Will gasping and coughing)
Sarah.
I found it.
I found it.
(eerie music)
(Will groans) (eerie music)
(ominous music) (wind swooshing)
(unsettling music)
Is this even necessary?
Yes!
She hasn't even
You helped make this mess,
you're going to help clean it up.
(eerie music)
I usually don't get my hands dirty,
but this is such a mess.
I hope I don't have to say anything cliche,
like, if you scream, no one can hear you.
I don't have to do that, right?
(Tracy whimpering) (tape scratches)
Now this is a simple Q&A.
(Tracy panting) (ominous music)
You know who I am and
what I'm capable of, right?
We've searched your apartment.
We've taken the footage
and the drives.
They're in our possession.
And we know that Ike,
he made backups.
So the question is,
where are they?
I just wanted to find Jordan.
And now I know that
you killed him, fuck you!
And fuck you too!
Ah, you guys are fucking sick!
Ah! (Whimpering)
- Okay then.
- Don't touch me!
Don't fucking touch me.
You're fucking sick!
(whimpers) You're just
standing there? Fuck you!
(plastic crackling) (Tracy whining)
Oh, for God's sake, enough is enough!
She never even gave the stuff to the media.
If she had, you would've known by now!
(eerie music)
(Tracy gasping)
(Tracy coughing)
Get off me! (Whimpering)
Now, where are the backup drives?
Okay, okay, okay.
Okay, (whimpering) I'll tell you.
(Tracy whimpering)
Ah, I'll tell you. (Panting)
Fuck you. (Lips smacking)
(Tracy whimpering and panting)
Please, no, no, no.
(Tracy screaming)
No, don't!
(gun firing)
Are you out of your fucking mind?
(gun fires) (Jacob crashes)
(suspenseful music) (Tracy sobbing)
(gun clacks)
Listen to me, Tracy,
it's very important
that when you leave here today,
you tell everyone,
everyone what happened here.
It's all here.
Everyone, now go.
Go before the others come!
(Tracy groaning) (suspenseful music)
(door clattering)
(suspenseful music continues)
(feet scratching)
(suspenseful music continues)
(camera taps) (feet scratching)
(chair knocking)
(Dr. Liebowitz sighs)
I'm sorry for everything.
This is the only way I
know how to make it right.
God forgive me.
(gun fires) (gun clacks)
(eerie music)
(unsettling music)
(unsettling music continues)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music continues)
(dramatic music continues)
(dramatic music continues)
(dramatic music)
(dramatic music continues)
(text thuds)
(heart beating)
(victim screaming)
[Announcer] Attention, attention.
Lockdown protocols are in effect.
(victim screams) (gun fires)
(victim crashes) (dispatch
speaks indistinctly)
All patients must report to
their rooms for processing.
(alarm wailing) (heart beating)
(gun fires)
You fucker!
(fists and feet thudding)
(patient groaning)
Tough guy.
[Announcer] Leaving
the premises is prohibited
by all personnel.
(fists and feet thudding)
(patient groans and whines)
Violators of protocol will be detained!
(alarm wailing) (patient gargling)
(ominous music)
[Doctor] Gina?
Gina?
(ominous music)
You don't have to feel ashamed.
You can talk to me.
You're safe here.
(ominous music)
You don't remember anything?
(child screams)
No.
(ominous music)
[Doctor] What's the last
thing you do remember?
(child screams)
I was sick in bed.
(ominous music)
[Doctor] Your niece and
nephew, do you remember them?
(child screams)
- No! No!
- I can't...
I'm just here to help you.
(ominous music)
I need to get the fuck outta here!
[Doctor] Gina, please.
I need to get out!
[Doctor] If you have a
seat and, we can talk about it.
(Gina screaming and bellowing)
What happened to your face, Gina?
I want to leave.
[Doctor] I can't let you do
that if you don't talk to me.
(ominous music)
(door buzzing and clicking)
(door squeaks and clicks)
(feet clacking)
(chair screeching)
(chair creaks)
Okay, how are we today, Gina?
Gina?
I'd like to talk about the
scratches on your face.
Did you do that to yourself?
Was it one of the guards?
(eerie music) (alarm wailing)
[Doctor] Open the door! Open the door!
Open the fucking door!
Open the fucking door!
- Rolling?
- Mm-hmm.
I'm Tracy Kowalski and I am shooting
this documentary to keep an explicit record
on the search for my cousin Jordan
who has literally disappeared.
This is a picture like from
the last time I saw my cousin.
[Ike] That's a nice picture.
Um, I've been able to
put some pieces together.
Not all of them.
He went in for an experimental study
for a drug called Dumitor.
He was low on cash
and he submitted himself.
I traced back Dumitor,
I've been doing research on the drug,
and so far I can trace it
back to three scientists:
Donovan Miller, Will
Taylor and Elias Campbell.
So Taylor and Miller, I
couldn't really find a lot,
there's some Linkedln profiles.
But, Campbell, this guy is just not...
He has a history.
I mean, he's charged with
fraud, gross malpractice,
charges were eventually dropped, whatever.
According to his Linkedln profile now,
he's working with a company
Precision Pharmaceuticals.
Don't get me started on this
company. It's completely shady.
It's-it's... I mean,
everything you can imagine.
There's, like, lawsuits,
criminal charges, conspiracy theories.
[Ike] Yeah, I know, I
read all about that company.
And, I mean, other than their
super friendly commercials
and the spokesperson,
that company's pretty grimey.
And it's partially owned by this guy.
[Ike] Lemme see.
Jacob Gosling.
[Ike] Oh. Oh, yeah, he looks trustworthy.
So I hired my friend Ike
here to film this documentary.
That's me. I don't know if
I got myself, but whatever.
(camera clicks)
(sighs) So that's
basically all I could find.
(screen thuds) (vehicles humming)
(people chattering)
[Receptionist] Thank you for waiting.
Mr. Gosling will be with you shortly.
Elias, how did you hear about this guy?
Through the grapevine. Why?
I just heard things.
Like what?
Like his rise to the
top wasn't necessarily
the most, um, ethical.
He knows people in the FDA and the CDC.
He has money and influence.
Elias, it's been a long time.
It's good to see you.
This is Will Taylor and Donovan Miller.
Please sit, I've read your proposal.
Some intriguing data there.
Thank you.
What exactly does this drug cure?
Uh, everything.
Everything?
Well, I mean, not at
first, but it has the potential.
We have to test it on people.
We've had successful tests
with 30 macaque monkeys.
Uh-huh, but how does
this miracle drug work?
(groans) It's a little bit complicated.
Educate me.
Are you familiar with cellular biology?
Yes.
Then you know what a cell is?
Yes.
Cells have organelles.
Organelles are like mini organs.
They make a cell perform its function.
One of these organelles
is called a ribosome.
Ribosomes create proteins
from amino acids and RNA,
transcoded from DNA, which basically
Mr. Gosling, what he's
Uh, call me Jacob.
Mr. Gosling makes me sound like an asshole.
(group chuckles)
Jacob, think of it like this.
The human body is like a computer.
We run on operating systems.
In our case, our cells,
molecules are right-handed.
It's called chirality.
So how does this tie
into Donovan's ribosome?
Right, (chuckles)
well, I'm glad you asked.
Basically, we are able to hack into
a ribosome and create a synthetic version
or another operating system that
can create a molecule's chiral twin.
Its mirror image.
Or mirror life, if you will.
And?
Well, in time, the mirrored proteins
that were created from this ribosome
can create their own proteins.
Essentially, we can tailor these
to eradicate any illness that we want.
I'm sorry, boys, but this sounds more
like science fiction than science.
Jacob, I've been a part of
this team for over a year now.
These guys are for real.
What if the systems aren't compatible?
They're not, we thought ahead though.
Since we tailor these ribosomes,
we were able to endow them with
a chiral fatty acid membrane to prevent
the interaction between the two systems.
Right, it's kind of how our body
can protect non-oxygenated blood from air.
Yes.
(ominous music)
And you wanna test this on people?
(chuckles) Right, yeah, phew.
Human beings, you do realize
what you're asking me for?
Yes.
(ominous music)
Do you have a location
for this experiment?
Yes.
(ominous music)
Let me be clear.
If we do business, you must be discreet.
And we wanna keep
this as private as you do.
I insist on hiring a
private security firm to help
to keep things in order.
(stammers) Mr. Gosling, I
Jacob.
Jacob, I don't think that's necessary.
I insist.
Okay.
Good, you boys have your funding.
(Donovan chuckles)
And, fellas, don't fuck it up.
(unsettling music) (chair creaks)
- Good to see you, Jacob.
- You too.
Now let's get to work.
(screen thuds)
(ominous music)
(tongue clicking)
(drum beating)
(tongue clicking)
Stop staring at me.
You're a good looking woman.
(patient chuckles) (lips smacking)
What are you looking at?
(ominous music)
Can I help you?
What's with you?
Dude, gimme a break.
I've been cooped up in here for two weeks.
I'm about to pull my hair out. (Sighs)
We're getting paid to sit
on our ass for a month, be grateful.
Yeah. Bullshit pay, that's what.
Have you even thought about
what they are testing on us?
(unsettling music)
I'm serious, why aren't we
allowed to leave the premises?
Why are there armed
security guards outside?
I think you're being paranoid.
And I think you have a great ass
and I would love to spank it.
You need to cut that shit out.
Or what?
(feet clacking)
[Security] Everything okay here, guys?
Yeah, yeah, we're fine.
How 'bout you, man?
I'm talking to you.
I heard you.
(chuckles) Tough guy.
You kids behave now.
(lips smacking) (ominous music)
(feet clacking)
Okay, okay.
Sorry about that.
How's the wife?
She's fine.
- She calls you a lot.
- Yeah, you know,
my head's all stuck at work here.
I had a wife once.
What happened?
Too many phone calls.
So which one is it?
[Will] It's Rosemary here.
She has acute asthma.
She's breathing normal for now.
But?
Well, when she first got
here, she wouldn't shut up,
so we upped her dosage
and now she's quiet as can be.
I think she's okay, but
I'll take a look at her.
What about the others?
[Will] Lindsey, hypothyroidism
seems to be clearing up.
- Keith?
- Spastic colitis.
But not as chronic as it was two weeks ago.
Halfway there.
Yeah.
(hand slaps) (ominous music)
Dr. Lyons normally does this,
but he's at a funeral.
Right, so, the program has
gone through the first two weeks.
My migraines are gone.
Completely?
Yeah, your little wonder drug works.
Um. (Chuckles)
When do I get paid?
Uh, well, the-the test phase
runs for another two weeks.
We have to monitor, make
sure there aren't any side effects.
You haven't felt any?
No.
No skin irritations, no hypertension?
Are you sure?
Want me to turn my head and cough?
(chuckles) No, that won't be necessary.
Thank you. (Clears throat)
(pump hissing and popping)
(Rosemary inhales and exhales)
(machine beeping) (unsettling music)
(strap screeches)
How's it looking, Doc?
Your blood pressure's high.
Is that bad?
Well, according to your chart,
it was normal two weeks ago.
(folder crackling)
Are you accusing me of something?
No. But I do think it's
something to be concerned with.
Don't you think?
(folder crackling)
Now according to your chart,
Dr. Taylor has noticed
changes in your behavior as well.
I feel fine.
(folder thuds)
What's that?
That's torsemide, it
reduces hypertension.
Well, I thought the medication
was supposed to do that.
Well, it seems to be causing it.
I think we need to talk to Dr. Taylor
before we do any... It will be fine.
I'm really not comfortable... Rosemary!
Rosemary, please.
You just have to trust me.
(machine beeping)
There. That wasn't so bad, was it?
Are we done?
Yes. We're done.
(machine beeping)
[Announcer] For every health
decision, you want precision.
Precision Pharmaceuticals.
(people speaks indistinctly) (TV fizzing)
[Lindsey] Hi.
Hey.
Anything interesting on?
Nah, I'm just killing time.
Ooh. Go back.
(ominous music) (chainsaw whining)
Good movie.
Thanks for sticking up for me earlier.
You know, with Keith.
He's a fucking idiot.
I don't know.
The way he looked at me earlier was weird.
I know that look.
I got your back.
So what are you gonna do,
I mean, you know, after we get out of here?
I don't know, probably just going to look
for more work, you?
I don't know.
I don't really wanna go home.
(victim whining)
(victim screams) (camera clicks)
[Ike] So, how long has
your cousin been gone?
Jordan's been missing for three weeks.
Damn. So, I mean, what are we doing here?
Shouldn't we be like looking or something
He was seeing this doctor,
Liebowitz, for his migraines.
And that's who recommended
him for an experimental study.
Some new drug called Dumitor.
He went in and no one has
seen or heard from him since.
[Ike] Well, Mr. Liebowitz
needs to hurry up
'cause of the curfew, you know?
(Tracy speaking indistinctly)
Excuse me, excuse me, Dr. Liebowitz?
- Yes.
- Hi.
Are you recording this?
Yeah. My name is Tracy Kowalski.
I'm sorry. I was just on
my way in to see you.
I'm sorry, we're closed for the day,
but if you'd like to make an appointment
for next week, you can
just visit our website
Okay, I'm actually, I'm
just making a documentary.
Why are you recording this?
Um, my cousin Jordan is missing,
and I know he's a patient of yours.
That is doctor-client
privilege, okay, so just...
Look, I'm late for an
appointment... Just, excuse me, but
No one has seen or
heard from him in weeks.
I went to where the experiment was
and that place is abandoned.
I don't know what to tell you.
- You have to know something!
- I don't know
what to tell you.
- You have to know something.
- Hey, get off my...
- If you know what's good
for you, you'll fucking drop it now, okay?
Now get the hell out of
here or I call the cops!
Good! Do it, call the cops.
- Let's get them down here!
- Yeah, okay,
let's get them down here!
- Tracy, you know what?
Come on. Come on.
Fuck, are you kidding me?
What the hell was that?
[Ike] I don't know, but
maybe we shouldn't take
a chance, you know
Well, he obviously knows something.
Who would-who'd freak out like that?
(camera clicks and beeps)
[Ike] Can you believe this guy?
I'm still shaking.
[Ike] Yeah, he, um
he's got to be hiding something.
Nobody gets that crazy
for no reason, you know?
What the fuck was that?
[Ike] I don't know. He
grabbed my fucking camera.
He's lucky my shit is all right now.
That just like did not go at all
how I wanted it to go, that was...
[Ike] I mean, you gotta be
onto something, Tracy, honestly.
I know.
[Ike] So, I mean, what
do you wanna do next?
I wanna go visit Wendy.
Jordan's ex-girlfriend.
[Ike] Okay.
I wanna go to her place.
[Ike] Where she's at?
She's close, she's just,
she's not answering any of my messages.
I wanna go see her.
[Ike] All right.
(ominous music)
Rosemary, (speaking indistinctly).
Hold your arm still please.
(ominous music)
- Ow, ow, that hurts!
- Would you stop
moving your arm, please!
(ominous music)
- Ah!
- Shit.
(Rosemary whines)
Rosemary?
Stay back. Don't come
any closer! (Panting)
I want my husband.
I thought you said your husband was dead?
Oh god, you're lying.
You don't know what the
fuck you're talking about!
He's in the building! (Panting)
(phone clicks)
What are you doing with that?
I'm just making a phone call.
You put the fucking weapon down now!
Wait, what are you seeing right now?
You think this is a weapon?
What's going on here?
You stay back!
(pan clangs) (Will crashes)
Easy does it, Rosemary.
- Get away from me!
- Everything's fine.
Don't come any closer to me!
We're your friends here.
(unsettling music)
(taser buzzing) (Rosemary screams)
(Rosemary crashes and
groans) (ominous music)
You okay?
What the hell happened to her?
(mouse clicking) (ominous music)
Good God.
What?
Her asthma's healing,
but her body's producing
unhealthy levels of epinephrine.
Well, that explains the hypertension.
And why that bedpan nearly broke my arm.
(unsettling music)
This isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Mr. Gosling, she's
producing unnatural levels
of epinephrine, it's
destroying her nervous system.
She's on a constant adrenaline rush.
She's a ticking time bomb.
What do you think?
We should move forward.
Are you out of your mind?
We need to shut down the entire program.
Quarantine everyone until we're sure
that no one else has been infected.
She's not contagious.
She just had a negative
reaction to the formula.
It was bound to happen.
We should cut her loose,
pay her in full, and call it a day.
Will?
(ominous music)
With the exception of Rosemary,
the drug works.
All right then.
But I wanna examine her first.
She's not a lab rat, Will.
Fine, you examine her.
You see if there's anything
you could do for her.
You have 72 hours.
Or what?
(unsettling music)
(door clicks) (machine beeping)
Hi, Rosemary.
What's that?
I'm just giving you your medication.
Which one?
Excuse me?
Which medication?
We've only been giving you one.
(suspenseful music)
Rosemary, has someone
given you another dosage?
Who?
(ominous music) (machine beeping)
What the hell are you thinking?
What are you talking about?
Rosemary?
I gave her torsemide.
Her blood pressure was high.
We can't just mix and match medications.
We have no idea what
that can do to the coding.
The dosage I gave her was totally benign.
Elias, we're not testing cough syrup!
You're screwing with my formula!
Your formula, so this little lecture
isn't about Rosemary, is it?
Never mind what happens to her.
We're only human, Will.
See, that's funny coming from you.
Why don't you stop riding my ass
and pay a little bit more attention
to what your friend Don's
been doing in the lab?
Maybe he miscalculated or something.
Like I said, Will, we're only human.
(folder scratches) (feet clacking)
(Will sighs)
[Donovan] So that means
we don't know enough about
what we're doing here!
That's the danger of the whole thing!
And I'm not making any sense?
[Elias] She is a subject!
She's a subject. We
are testing this process!
[Donovan] She's a subject
that you don't care about.
[Elias] It's not relevant
if I care about her.
[Donovan] She's a human being!
She's a human, don't you understand that?
(speaking indistinctly)
[Elias] We are in a process here.
We're in a process that's failing!
If you have miscalculated the formula,
then that is your fault.
- Everybody dies in
this hospital, then it's your fault!
If she dies, that is not a problem to me!
That's not a problem
for a human being to die?
She needs to be quarantined.
Let it be on the record,
she needs to be quarantined.
- The subject needs to...
(clapperboard slaps)
Oh my God!
[Ike] What's going on?
It's just (murmurs)...
This is Wendy's apartment building.
Wendy is Jordan's ex-girlfriend.
And she's not answering.
She's not answering fucking text,
calls, emails, Facebook messages.
Just completely MIA
at the exact same time as Jordan.
It's just weird.
Yeah, it's... It just, it blows my mind.
- It's insane.
- Maybe they
- went off together.
- Oh, grab that!
Oh, damn dude.
Um, guys, I'm not comfortable with this.
- What are you...
- What?
Getting in there.
I'm not paying you to be comfortable.
I'm paying you to help me.
[Crew Member] Oh yeah. I'm sorry.
Are you...
[Ike] You know what? Come on.
You know what? Forget it, Tracy, come on.
It's two minutes, two minutes.
- Nope.
- Fine. Awesome.
Great, well, I'll just do it myself.
[Ike] Yeah, you know what?
Also, lemme change my lens because
- Kidding me.
- We're actually
(camera beeps)
- Can you smell that?
- Dude, whoa.
What is that?
[Ike] I don't think I've ever smelled
- anything like that.
- Oh my God.
Dude, that's fucking nasty!
[Ike] Oh my God!
Yeah, no, as soon as you get right here,
it's really bad. (Coughing)
[Tracy] I can't breathe. (Coughing)
It's coming... Is that
It's coming from, yeah, it's
coming from her apartment.
- Okay.
- Oh my God.
It's like... (retches)
Come on, just fuck it.
[Ike] Are you sure
you wanna walk in there?
(Tracy coughing)
Oh.
[Ike] Oh.
(door knocking)
Oh my god, Wendy?
It's Tracy. I'm looking for Jordan.
(door knocking)
It's fucking, it's open.
[Ike] It's open?
Should we fucking go in?
[Ike] Yeah. Absolutely.
Lets just get this shit
done, man, it stinks.
(door squeaks)
- Oh!
- Oh my God!
(Ike coughing)
Oh my God.
[Ike] Yeah. That's pretty bad.
Come on. Let's get this over with.
- Oh my God.
- Is that your cousin?
Who is that?
I don't know.
(camera whines)
That's not Jordan.
What the fuck? Dude,
that guy is fucking dead.
(door squeaks)
W- Wendy?
- What the fuck?
- Are you okay?
[Ike] Tracy, we should probably go.
Wendy, where is Jordan?
- Tracy, um.
- I...
- She's got a hammer, Tracy.
- Shut the fuck up, I know.
Where's Jordan?
- Get out!
- Oh shit!
- Get out!
- Oh shit!
- Get out!
- Oh shit!
(camera clicks)
What the hell just happened?
Should we have called the cops?
The cops, and tell them what exactly?
That we broke into someone's apartment
and that the girl who lived
there killed someone else,
and then she chased after us with
a hammer and fell down the stairs?
She's probably dead, Tracy.
The cops will just throw this away.
Okay, if you go to the cops,
all this is for nothing.
Don't you feel it? You're onto something.
I mean, first the doctor.
Now this-this craziness.
I don't even know what that was.
I never seen anything like that in my life.
We have to find these scientists.
Yeah, yeah, that's exactly
what we have to do, okay?
Uh, you know what?
I'm gonna-I'm gonna
back up this footage too.
[Tracy] Yeah.
(ominous music)
(machine beeping) (heart beating)
(unsettling music)
(machine beeping)
(eerie music) (machine beeping)
(unsettling music)
(phone ringing) (unsettling music)
Hello?
(ominous music) (phone ringing)
Hello?
(ominous music)
(door clattering) (ominous music)
Hello?
(ominous music)
(unsettling music) (guard hisses)
(unsettling music) (Rosemary panting)
(wall thuds) (guard panting)
(Jordan grunting)
(fist thudding)
(door thuds) (tense music)
(Lindsey screams) (tense music)
(feet clacking)
(Rosemary panting) (Lindsey screaming)
(suspenseful music) (Rosemary panting)
(door thuds) (Rosemary whines)
(guard inhaling and exhaling)
(suspenseful music)
(unsettling music) (Lindsey whines)
(door thuds) (unsettling music)
(guard inhaling and exhaling)
(door clattering)
(Lindsey groans) (unsettling music)
Lindsey, stop it's me.
It's Jordan, don't scream.
Shit, the floor is not that big.
We should head back.
We can smoke her out.
Stop, I'm gonna let you go.
It's not safe back there.
She's just a little girl.
And we don't know who else is out here.
(Jordan panting) (Lindsey panting)
Why's your shirt all bloody?
A guy-a guy in a gas
mask tried to choke me.
I don't know if he's dead or not.
(Jordan groans and pants)
It's me.
(suspenseful music) (lips smacking)
What is this place?
Hell if I know.
I think we're still in the complex.
(suspenseful music)
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, let me go!
Let me go, no, no, ah!
(suspenseful music)
(case clicking)
(door squeaks)
(suspenseful music continues)
(unsettling music)
Hello?
(door knocks) (unsettling music)
Come on.
Donovan?
(unsettling music)
Reggie?
[Speaker] Where are you doing?
What are you doing?
(unsettling music)
Where are you going?
Downstairs.
(unsettling music)
(fist thuds) (Donovan screaming)
(weapon thuds) (Reggie whines)
(Donovan panting)
Ah!
(weapon thuds) (Reggie grunts)
Ah. (Gargling)
(weapon crunches) (guard screams)
(neck pops) (unsettling music)
(ominous music)
What are you doing?
My job.
Donovan?
Will, why are you wearing gas masks?
It went airborne, Don.
(Donovan sighs)
That's why we shut down the elevators.
I was afraid this would happen.
We need your help,
Don. They're downstairs.
We can't risk contamination.
What do you want me to do?
Just find them. Bring 'em to us.
(unsettling music)
(speaking indistinctly) (patient laughing)
- Tell me what this means!
- Ah!
Who's that screaming?
I don't know.
I'll fucking bite your face off! Ah!
What do the tests mean?
It sounds like Keith.
Yeah, it's funny? Funny guy? (Laughing)
I'm not going down there.
It'll be alright. Don't worry.
You want something
to laugh about funny guy?
- Yeah.
- I'll give you something
- to smile about.
- Yeah, go ahead!
- You want it?
- Cut it up, ah, ah!
Yeah, here it comes, you piece
Keith, what are you doing?
- Get off me.
- Get back
He's a fucking liar!
This is all his fault!
Just back off!
Yeah. Look at this, go ahead, read it.
(ominous music)
What?
(Elias chuckling)
It's an email between Elias
and some guy named Jacob.
He's talking about us.
Twin ribosome adapting abnormally
in Lindsey, Jordan and Rosemary.
What the fuck? What
the hell does this mean?
We have to be careful.
The walls have ears.
He's talking about the
guys with the gas masks.
Dr. Campbell, what is this email about?
The boogeyman with the magic wands.
I'm going to shut this fucking guy up.
- Keith!
- Guys, stop.
- Stay back!
- Outta my way.
Dr. Campbell, what does that email mean?!
They're hunting you down
one by one!
Enough! Shut him the fuck up!
Relax, dude!
(Elias chuckling)
It's not a virus!
It's something else.
Who has it?
You do.
You do.
And you do.
It got Rosemary first,
then she had a little cough,
and then everybody went crazy.
I guess-I guess we
didn't contain it very well.
Is it terminal?
(suspenseful music)
(Elias laughing)
Dr. Campbell, please.
Life is terminal if you
live long enough, honey.
This is new life.
It's growing inside of you.
Inside of you. Inside of you.
It's a shame I won't be around to see it.
But there's a cure.
It's behind a door on another floor.
- A door? What door?
- Upstairs, R68.
You need a key. The crazy
bogeymen had the key.
You have to get it from him.
It's your only chance for your salvation.
Shut the fuck up!
(weapon thuds) (blood crackling)
Keith, what the fuck?
- Why did you do that?
- What are you doing?
Don't you get it?
He was lying to us.
We were an experiment.
The guy who he was
writing to works for the CDC.
The Center for Disease Control.
(chuckles) You know what? Fuck it.
You guys can wait until he wakes up.
I'm outta here.
You can go find the door
behind a floor with another
door and two more floors!
And suck a fucking dick!
(weapon crashing) (ominous music)
Come on, let's go.
(ominous music)
(suspenseful music)
(Keith chuckling)
I can't believe this. (Chuckles)
Believe what?
(chuckles) All of this.
Three weeks ago,
I was getting stoned with
my buddies. (Laughing)
And now, I'm in hell in the middle
of a government conspiracy. (Laughing)
There's no government conspiracy.
Says you!
(suspenseful music)
(Keith sighs)
(weapon clinks)
(suspenseful music continues)
Don't even think about it.
You know we're gonna die, right?
(weapon clinks)
There's two of us.
There's just one of her.
Nobody's gonna find out.
That's it. Get up, we're leaving.
Come on. Get up, right now.
We are leaving, get up!
Jordan.
(weapon thuds) (Lindsey screaming)
(tense music)
(Lindsey screaming and whining)
Fuck you!
(limbs thudding) (Keith whining)
(fist thuds) (tense music)
Get the fuck off me! Get off, no!
(Lindsey screams) (tense music)
(head thudding)
You like it rough, baby?
Yeah, I know what you want.
- Get the fuck off of me!
(tense music) (Lindsey screaming)
[Keith] Come on, baby.
Fuck you!
(Jordan grunts) (Keith crashes)
(suspenseful music)
Ah, ah, ah.
Ah, ah, ah.
(fist thudding) (unsettling music)
You fucking piece of fucking shit!
(fist thudding) (Keith gargling)
(Jordan grunts) (heart beating)
(unsettling music)
- Ah!
- Lindsey, It's okay! It's me.
Dr. Miller? (Whimpering)
Come with me, I can help you, come on.
(suspenseful music)
(door clicks)
(taser buzzes) (Lindsey whines)
Hey, what are you guys doing?
Take her.
(feet clacking) (Donovan groans)
Fuck off, Miller!
Hey, what the hell, Will, Will?!
Open the fucking door!
Open the fucking door!
I'm gonna kill you, you piece of shit!
You're fucking dead!
Where the fuck are they taking her?
Where the fuck are they taking her?
Stop. Calm down.
Calm down, sh.
Calm down, calm down.
She's bait, Jordan.
She's bait. (Panting)
Come on, let go.
Let go, please. (Panting)
Where's Keith? (Panting)
Are they gonna kill her?
I don't know.
I don't know, honestly, ah!
Doc, what the hell happened?
(Donovan groans)
Something went wrong with the drug.
- What?
- It was working and
and-and then it wasn't.
It's spreading, it's gone
airborne, and we have it.
Then why am I not sick?
Why isn't Lindsey sick?
You guys are different.
(ominous music)
Kill me, please, just kill me, please.
It doesn't matter.
What? No, no.
No one's getting out
of this alive, Jordan.
(suspenseful music)
Here, take it.
Where is she?
Where?
Fourth floor, you can
take the freight elevator.
It's the only way up.
(suspenseful music)
I never meant to hurt anyone.
We only had good intentions.
(door thuds) (suspenseful music)
Forgive me, mother.
(suspenseful music)
(Will inhaling and exhaling)
(suspenseful music continues)
Dr Taylor?
Yeah. It's me, Lindsey.
Where am I?
Shut the fuck up.
Sean, I don't think that's necessary.
Whose side are you on, Doc, huh?
We got a job to finish.
Keep an eye on her.
(suspenseful music)
(elevator humming)
(bell dings) (doors scratching)
What are you gonna do, kill me?
No.
(Lindsey speaking indistinctly)
(taser buzzing) (Jordan groans)
Jordan!
- Be quiet.
- Help!
Sean, I can't let you do this.
(tape crackling) (Lindsey grunts)
We can still learn from them.
- Jordan?
- We can still help them.
Jordan, come on.
(Lindsey and Jordan groaning)
Stay back, Jacob probably
told you to come down here
and clean things up, right?
We can still save them, Sean.
You don't get it, Doc.
There's no saving them now.
(gun fires) (Will crashes)
(gun caulks)
Sorry, Doc.
(shoes squeaking) (tense music)
(door thuds) (suspenseful music)
(door thuds) (feet clacking)
(doors clattering)
(unsettling music)
(gun fires) (suspenseful music)
(Sean inhaling and exhaling)
(weapon thudding)
You fucker!
(fist thudding) (Jordan groaning)
(neck crackling)
Tough guy.
(Jordan groaning) (fist slapping)
(Jordan crashes) (tense music)
(feet and fists thudding) (Jordan whining)
(Jordan grunting)
(Jordan gargling) (Sean grunting)
(fist thudding) (Jordan grunting)
(ominous music)
(Jordan groans and pants)
(material rustling and crackling)
(keys rattling)
[Jordan] (groans) Ah.
(suspenseful music)
(door clicks and squeaks)
(suspenseful music continues)
(keys rattling) (feet scratching)
(door clicks and squeaks) (alarm whining)
(people chattering) (vehicles whirring)
(suspenseful music)
Of course I wanna go to the festival,
but I have to babysit this weekend.
Well, I committed to doing
it, and the kids are excited,
and my sister will kill
me if I cancel last minute.
(suspenseful music) (vehicles whirring)
Are you okay?
(vehicle whirring) (sirens wailing)
Do you need help?
Gina, are you still there, Gina?
[Reporter] Breaking news,
Precision Pharmaceuticals
has just announced that they are days away
from producing a cure on a mass scale.
We take you live to Washington.
(vehicles whirring) (horns honk)
(reporter speaking indistinctly)
[Tracy] Here's the
street, here's the street.
[Commentator] A team of industry leaders
are working around the clock.
We can say with the utmost sincerity,
we are days away from ending this pandemic.
We ask the public to please remain calm
and shelter in your homes.
Do not travel unless absolutely necessary.
If you or any of your loved ones begin...
The scientist who
created Mirror Life, Dumitor,
this is where he lives.
So that's why we're checking it out.
(camera clicks)
- All right.
- And it's a
fucking crime scene.
[Ike] Let's do this, yo.
Um, lemme, uh, I'm just
actually gonna change the
I'm gonna change the lens really quick.
Gimme a second.
(camera click)
Crime scene. Do not cross.
[Ike] Yeah, that's, um,
that's gonna be a problem.
(birds chirping)
What are you thinking?
I mean, this guy
created the drug, Dumitor,
and now his house is a crime scene?
Yeah, that's a little...
And my cousin that
was taking the drug is missing?
It just doesn't add up.
[Ike] Tracy, are you gonna go in there?
I don't... Do you think I care, honestly?
(crew member speaking indistinctly)
[Ike] I dunno.
(crickets croaking)
Tracy, be careful.
- Everything's blocked off.
[Announcer] Emergency
curfew is now in effect!
Violators will be detained and processed!
(crickets croaking)
I think that's a quarantine area.
[Ike] You think so?
I'm almost positive. Yeah.
(crickets croaking)
[Ike] Well, that makes it more fishy.
(sighs) Oh god, it's
like another dead end.
(Ike sighs)
Okay.
Fuck.
(lid thuds)
We'll go around back.
- Do wanna take the back?
- Yeah.
(camera click)
[Ike] You hear something?
(birds chirping)
It's so closed off though, you see that?
They're all curtained up.
They're all boarded up. I don't...
[Ike] What kind of shit
was your cousin into?
(sighs) Nothing. He's a good kid.
It's just his fucking doctor, I don't...
[Ike] I guess you're right.
I hope there's no, like,
attack dogs or nothing.
(door creaking and clattering)
Oh my god.
(Tracy sighs) (birds chirping)
[Ike] Fuck, so, uh...
I don't know, it's another dead end.
Do you think, like, the
like the neighbors know anything?
- I mean, it's worth shot.
- We can ask about
what kind of guy he was.
You know, if he had a family,
maybe his family knows something, anything?
[Ike] Yeah, maybe they know why there's
some police tape or something?
(birds chirping)
These damn trees, yo.
Yeah, fuck.
It's like, that window's open.
[Ike] What's that?
Wait. What the...
- Whoa! Holy shit.
- Whoa.
- Hi, guys.
- Hey, hey, hey
- Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
- Whoa
The guns are not-not necessary!
Not necessary. We
weren't touching anything.
We did not go inside.
- Down on your knees!
- Hands on your head!
No, please, please.
I'm not gonna say it again!
(dispatch speaking indistinctly)
Run!
(gun firing) (group clamoring)

No. It's airborne.
Yeah, like you can't go outside
or your gonna get it, okay?
Is that mom? Why is she yelling?
I gotta go. Okay?
You gotta take this.
I got-I gotta go to the basement.
(door clicks) (eerie music)

If he gets inside, we're dead.
- Who's out there?
- Go upstairs, please.
Just go. Go.

Stop.
- Okay.

(suspenseful music) (Hannah whining)
Sarah, Close the door!
Close the door!
(unsettling music)

Mr. Thompson?
Is that girl in there?
- There she is!

I swear to God, I will shoot you!
She's not the girl you're looking for.

she went that way.
That way?
(unsettling music) (birds chirping)
Go, go, get inside!
Oh my God.
(door thuds)
Thanks for letting me in.
Why didn't you stay home?
We told you not to leave the house.
You could've gotten us killed.
I'm sorry.
You should go back
to your mother's house.
I can't.
Why not?
(ominous music)
She's dead.
She started flipping out.
And she-she came at me.
(Hannah sobbing and whimpering)

a dead body in the basement?
He was gonna hurt Will.
Did you hurt Will, what?
(scissor scratching) (unsettling music)
Hannah, why do you have a
pair of scissors in your hand?
I don't have scissors.
Hannah?
You know what I think?

You helped make this mess,
you're going to help clean it up.
(eerie music)
I usually don't get my hands dirty,
but this is such a mess.
I hope I don't have to say anything cliche,
like, if you scream, no one can hear you.
I don't have to do that, right?
(Tracy whimpering) (tape scratches)
Now this is a simple Q&A.
(Tracy panting) (ominous music)
You know who I am and
what I'm capable of, right?
We've searched your apartment.
We've taken the footage
and the drives.
They're in our possession.
And we know that Ike,
he made backups.
So the question is,
where are they?
I just wanted to find Jordan.
And now I know that
you killed him, fuck you!
And fuck you too!
Ah, you guys are fucking sick!
Ah! (Whimpering)
- Okay then.
- Don't touch me!
Don't fucking touch me.
You're fucking sick!
(whimpers) You're just
standing there? Fuck you!
(plastic crackling) (Tracy whining)
Oh, for God's sake, enough is enough!
She never even gave the stuff to the media.
If she had, you would've known by now!
(eerie music)
(Tracy gasping)
(Tracy coughing)
Get off me! (Whimpering)
Now, where are the backup drives?
Okay, okay, okay.
Okay, (whimpering) I'll tell you.
(Tracy whimpering)
Ah, I'll tell you. (Panting)
Fuck you. (Lips smacking)
(Tracy whimpering and panting)
Please, no, no, no.

(gun firing)
Are you out of your fucking mind?
(gun fires) (Jacob crashes)
(suspenseful music) (Tracy sobbing)
(gun clacks)
Listen to me, Tracy,
it's very important
that when you leave here today,
you tell everyone,
everyone what happened here.
It's all here.
Everyone, now go.
Go before the others come!
(Tracy groaning) (suspenseful music)
(door clattering)
(suspenseful music continues)
(feet scratching)
(suspenseful music continues)
(camera taps) (feet scratching)
(chair knocking)
(Dr. Liebowitz sighs)

This is the only way I
know how to make it right.
God forgive me.
(gun fires) (gun clacks)
(eerie music)
(unsettling music)
(unsettling music continues)
(dramatic music)
