Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure (2026) Movie Script
Demons spent eons trying to conquer death.
But their greed to rule the universe
led to their downfall.
Even in the Kali Yuga,
mankind still seeks immortality.
Yet they cannot comprehend
that God is both
the beginning and the end.
Still, they search for a way
to conquer death.
What power governs the universe today?
And where does it dwell?
Zulfi! Was this the place
where Abdali fought in 1757?
Prabhakar's research papers
mention this very place.
Tesla!
Tesla! Give me your hand.
Come on!
Abdali!
Come!
Abdali!
Come!
Come!
Have you come, Abdali?
Have you come, Abdali?
Remember this, Afghan Sultan Abdali.
We both have the same goal.
To open the Nagabandha gate.
To rule over this creation.
For that to happen,
The keys to opening that gate,
the Sacred Lotus,
and the Garuda mantras,
must fall into our hands.
Find them, wherever they may be.
Go!
Go!
Dear students!
Assemble here.
Remember one thing.
You would need a lifetime to find
even one of the artefacts shown here.
Yet one man discovered them all.
The longest-serving director
in Indian archaeology,
a man capable of deciphering
any archaeological inscription,
I present to you
the archaeological genius, Mr. Prabhakar.
Welcome, sir. Please.
-[all] Pleasure to meet you, sir!
-Thank you. Thank you!
Sir, the world knows
about your achievements and legacy.
But your failure
Sir? Sir!
Some questions shape the future.
And some others
haunt the past.
What exactly is it, sir?
The Virata Purusha form
Vishnu assumed on Earth,
a marvel before which
even the mighty Himalayas bowed.
He who turned the infinite cosmos
into a lotus and bore it upon his navel
a temple dedicated to that Virata Purusha.
The search for it
consumed thirty years
of my life and experience.
This defeat isn't mine alone.
It left a bitter mark
on many throughout history.
-So there's no path to it now, sir?
-There is.
In 1757, Sultan Abdali
of Afghanistan and his minister
supposedly wrote a book about
the temple attack and the path to it.
This inscription claims so.
That book is the only guide to the path.
So where is that book, sir?
-Sir. Tesla here.
-Yes, Tesla.
-I must speak to Mr. Prabhakar urgently.
-Wait a minute.
Sir! Tesla is on the phone.
He says it's urgent.
-Sorry! Sorry!
-Hey!
-[in Hindi] Watch where you're going!
-Please forgive me.
-Where do these people come from?
-Sorry.
Stop! Stop!
[in Hindi] Do you have a pass?
-Sir!
-Security, let him in.
-He's our guy.
-Okay, sir! Go!
This summit
will greatly benefit the country.
-Your support is vital for our nation.
-Mr. Murali Prasad!
Prabhakar? Excuse me.
Yes, Prabhakar.
I need to meet the Prime Minister
immediately. It's an important matter.
Everything here is important.
No one meets the Prime Minister casually.
We have rules and protocols.
Come to the office tomorrow morning.
We'll discuss it then.
Sir, it's very important.
Who is he?
He's Tesla, an archaeology
research scholar.
-Oh!
-Trust me.
This is going to change India's future.
This meeting
is also about Indians' future.
The inscriptions and relics
you discover won't change the future.
But policies will change India
by creating big wealth.
Sir, what you're talking about
is the wealth
India may gain in the future.
But what I'm talking about
is the immense wealth
already hidden in this country.
Come on, Tesla!
Prabhakar, enjoy the evening.
Sir, hear me out!
It's about Nagabandham.
What nonsense are you talking?
Do you even know what you're saying?
This isn't what you told me before!
You think this is a joke?
People have only heard about Nagabandham.
No one has ever seen it.
Our archaeology department
has researched it for years.
We never found a single clue.
But, I've got it, sir.
Alright.
You wait here, I'll come back.
-Please!
-Of course!
Sir!
Sure!
Okay!
The PM wants to see you
at his residence tomorrow at 8 AM.
-Okay, see you.
-Okay.
-Sir, sir!
-Yes!
[in Hindi] Sir! Please, sir!
Please buy a toy, sir.
Please, sir!
Please buy a toy, sir.
-Please, sir!
-How much?
Give me whatever you can, sir.
Brother, whose vehicle is this?
This is India, sir. We'll change India.
Robert, stop the car.
-Bye, sir!
-Tesla!
-Yes, sir.
-Don't overthink it.
It's Riya's birthday today.
Let's meet for dinner.
-Hmm.
-Okay, sir. I'll see you.
Riya!
Daddy!
Come on my dear baby!
-Happy Birthday, baby! I love you!
-Thank you, Daddy.
Where's my gift?
-I must've forgotten it in the car.
-It's okay, give after some time.
-Are you sure? Come!
-I'm sure.
-Come!
-Mom and I've been waiting
for you for so long.
-Tessie!
-I'm sorry, baby!
Why are you so late?
Ah Father!
-Yes, my son?
-I have to make a confession.
Come!
Riya, go to mom.
Come baby!
Praise the Lord, Father!
I made a mistake
hiding the truth about Zulfikar.
Show me how I can atone for my mistake
Tesla!
Praise the Lord, my son.
-You?
-Yes, I am
the father of all sins.
You just confessed
My son!
Shall I tell you how to atone?
Who decides
the winner and loser
in this game we played?
It's me!
You cheat! I'll kill you!
Daddy!
Let me go!
Mommy.
Tesla!
Mommy!
Hey, Tesla!
Where is the book?
-Tesla!
-Tell me! Tell me!
Daddy!
Your your scheme for the Nagabandham
will never succeed in this lifetime!
No!
No! No!
Tesla! Tesla!
Daddy!
-Uncle, please Uncle, please. No!
-Riya!
Please leave my dad alone!
Uncle, please release my dad!
-Uncle! Please, uncle!
-Shh!
Cute cute baby.
Were you scared?
You don't have to be
scared, sweetheart.
He should!
Your dad stole my book
and hid it somewhere.
My mom told me
never to take what belongs to others.
If you want, I'll give you
all the toys I have.
No! I want that book!
-Let's play a game.
-Uncle, No!
Your daddy will give it to me then!
-What do you want?
-Uncle
What exactly do you want?
Ask him.
What's that book, Tesla?
What's that book, Tesla?
She's asking you, isn't she? Tell her!
No matter how many lifetimes you live,
you will never get it!
Don't do this uncle! Please uncle!
No!
Uncle, don't!
Riya, come back!
Riya, just stay here!
Mommy! Uncle, no!
-No, no! No, Uncle! No!
-Riya, come back!
No uncle
Uncle! No!
Mommy!
I will do as you said.
Please let my mommy go
Mommy!
That's exactly what I'm saying, baby.
But your daddy isn't listening.
What can I do?
Give me the book and I'll let you all go.
Otherwise, your mommy
Daddy! Daddy!
Where is the book, Daddy?
-Daddy!
-Sorry!
Daddy?
Daddy? No
Daddy, wake up!
Daddy! Mommy!
Tesla!
God
God is watching everything.
He will surely punish you!
Daddy!
Daddy!
Ali! No!
No! Riya!
-Mrs. Padmamma!
-Namaste, Priest.
The goddess Manasa Devi
is the primordial mother of all serpents.
To that divine mother, everything offered,
be it ritual or offering, is only milk.
Performing the first abhishekam
to the goddess with the milk you bring
is a tradition passed down
through generations.
-So, where are your son and daughter?
-They're coming.
There she is! Ms. Manasa!
It looks like Lord Shiva himself
is carrying his child,
Manasa Devi, in his arms.
My precious!
Be careful!
What is this, brother-in-law?
Did you carry your sister
so her feet wouldn't hurt?
Scumbag!
Mr. Priest!
As the festival day is auspicious,
we've finalized Manasa's marriage
to Raju, son of Narasimha of Nagulakota.
Say something, sister.
What was that?
There's already a groom in the house.
How can you marry her off to an outsider?
What about our honor?
We've been hoping to make Manasa
our daughter-in-law.
No, sister-in-law.
Raju and Manasa
have loved each other since childhood.
Your husband died owing debts,
and that's become a burden now.
My husband lent you our boat
so you could repay that debt, didn't he?
You made money from it, and now
you want to marry her off to him?
How is that fair?
Out of the goodness of my heart,
I even overlooked that debt
and thought of making Manasa
my daughter-in-law.
Is our Kinka not handsome enough?
Is he not worthy?
Hey, why aren't you talking?
Aunt! A marriage without love
is never a good marriage.
-Hey!
-How dare you push my sister?
Who is your aunt?
We don't know where you were born,
or even where you came from.
Who are you to interfere in our matters?
-Mom, stop it!
-Hey!
-What your mom said is true, isn't it?
-Gandhar Raju, stop!
Hey!
He is an orphan
who doesn't know his mother!
-A son who doesn't know his father!
-Hey!
The moment you insulted my brother,
my hand rose on its own!
One more word
-Hey.
-Hey
and I'll slash your neck.
-Hey!
-Hey!
Nephew!
-Hey, stop!
-Manasa.
I'm talking to you.
In the name of Goddess,
I swear to everyone,
Rudra is my son!
My life!
If anyone lays a hand on him
or says even a single word against him,
I'll sever all relationship with them.
Hey, Manasa!
The principle was repaid,
what about the interest?
Who's your aunt?
We don't know where you were born,
or even where you came from.
Brother.
Are you drinking to relive the past
and forget the present?
I mean
You've been hiding away, barely eating,
ever since the incident at the fair.
Your sister could barely open the box,
yet she came to feed you.
Alright, done feeling sad?
Shall I feed you?
Feed him.
Who feels bad for people who only act
when there's something in it for them?
-What's this, brother? Our mom trusts you.
-After you feed him, he'll forget it all.
And you are my life.
Really? What about me?
-Hey, Manasa! What about me?
-Hey!
Rudra, you shouldn't be
thinking about them right now.
You should be thinking about our wedding.
Everyone from the surrounding villages
should attend. It must be a grand affair.
Even if no one attends the wedding,
my brother being there is enough for me.
Not even me?
When I think about your aunt,
I feel like she might try
to stop this wedding.
As long as my brother is with me,
who dares to stop this wedding?
God! Always going on about your brother!
After marriage, instead of
you coming to my house,
I feel like I'll come
live in your house instead.
That's how it is!
I will stay where my heart is.
-Alright then. It's inevitable.
-Brother, it's getting dark.
Let's go home, Mom will be waiting.
You go ahead, I'll come later.
-Come!
-Come quickly, Rudra.
We're leaving now.
Let's meet tomorrow in Srirangapuram.
[chanting]
Everything will be fine
going forward, Janardhan.
What do you mean, fine?
The humiliation I faced at the fair today
felt like my head being cut off.
Ignoring everything I said,
you kept supporting your sister.
What happened now?
Your sister's actions
haven't changed you at all.
Sister!
Seeing you like this
it hurts me deeply.
Even though his sister
Padmamma insulted you so much,
brother-in-law didn't say a word.
He won't! Why would he?
He loves his sister, doesn't he?
He didn't react at all
even when they insulted me so much.
Hey, Rudra! Come here.
-May you live a hundred years! Come!
-Come!
Hey!
Rudra is one of ours!
Go away! Move!
I said go.
Why did you come here?
Uncle, I'm not old enough
to say this to you.
What happened today was wrong.
No matter who is responsible,
everyone was hurt by it.
I came here so that
this pain doesn't turn into anger.
Whether good or bad,
you are all bound by blood.
My sister did that out of love for me.
She has neither
anger nor hatred toward you.
Even if the whole village
attends her wedding,
you're her uncle.
Nothing can replace you.
If I am the only problem here,
I'll leave after her wedding.
-Hey!
-Brother!
-Hey, Kinka! Hey.
-Who are you, man?
What difference does it make
whether you stay or leave?
Hey!
-Hey!
-Brother, stop.
That disgraceful woman is not my aunt,
and the other worthless woman
is not my sister-in-law!
I'll endure it.
Call me anything you want.
I'll endure it!
If you speak lightly
because I came to compromise,
I will behead you.
Is that clear?
[Lord Rama hymn chant]
Dear, Parvathi, your Guru is coming.
Saraswathi,
are the prayer arrangements ready?
Your disciple,
who knows your every routine
-has already completed the arrangements.-Namo Narayanaya.
Please bless me, Guruji.
May you live a long life!
She is another disciple.
Her name is Priyamani.
Sent by Raja Ravi Varma.
She has come here
to learn the Vedas from you.
Among all things in creation,
the wisdom of the Vedas alone is eternal.
Learning the Vedas is not merely useful,
It is a blessing.
I will definitely teach you.
What is in that box?
The key to the sanctum doors
of Ranganatha Swamy temple.
And that?
The Kunchakola.
It is used to open the main temple doors.
So many questions on your first day?
I'll explain eventually.
Greetings, sir!
Govinda Govinda!
Govinda Govinda!
May you live long!
Om Namo Ranganathaya Namah!
Are the arrangements
for the Lord's festival going well?
By the grace of sacred chants,
everything is going in perfect order.
Though our family has overseen
the temple for generations,
its true responsibility rests with you.
As long as the temple and its traditions
are under your care, we can rest easy.
I bow to Lord Narayana!
That is our good fortune.
As you said, this temple is extraordinary.
It is ancient and immensely significant.
It is our fortune to be entrusted
with conducting these celebrations.
May it be auspicious.
I shall take my leave.
Om Namo Narayanaya!
Wait, Parvathi.
Guruji, may I ask a small doubt?
Go ahead, dear.
Every day the deity is adorned
with different decorations, right?
Even if it's priceless, why hold
a grand festival for a golden flower?
Festivals are not about
form or splendor, my dear.
There she goes again.
They are dedicated to the divine essence.
To keep society united
and free of divisions,
the Creator established
festivals as a sacred bond.
It is not a golden flower,
but the Sacred Lotus.
Its power and significance
may sound like mere folklore to you.
-Wait. Dear Parvathi.
-Guruji?
Can you tell this girl, in simple words,
what you found
in your research about this temple?
In the mid-17th century,
this Ranganatha Swamy temple
was destroyed by fire.
The then king, Ranga Martanda Varma
went to the Himalayas
to rebuild the temple.
There, while bringing Shaligram stones
believed to be
the embodiment of Lord Vishnu
a Naga Sadhu is said to have given him
this Sacred Lotus, as our history tells.
That is why, every Kartika Purnima,
grand festivities are held here.
Forgive me, Guruji.
I spoke out of ignorance.
Young people don't ask from ignorance.
They ask because they're curious.
Our culture is praised by the whole world.
Let us not diminish it. Do you understand?
Let's go.
Manasa, we've reached
your mother-in-law's village.
Alright.
Come, Rudra!
-Brother-in-law!
-Are you sober now?
Come!
You look like a beautiful doll, dear.
Your mother isn't with you?
She's busy with the wedding preparations.
Once you fulfill your vow to the Lord,
you'll never have to point a weapon again.
Come, brother.
-You go ahead!
-Okay, you stay here. We'll be back.
-Come on, dear.
-Hurry, the celebrations are beginning!

Robert!
Sir, it's too risky.
We can't go back. Keep going!
-I've lost control.
-Take control!
Hold on tight, sir.
Hold on!
I'm talking to you.
I told you I don't want to go.
How many times must I say it?
Raja doesn't listen
no matter what I say, brother.
I went fishing for a small fish
and ended up with a whale.
I told you to send them away.
Hey Rudra, come on!
-You're right on time.
-What's wrong, brother-in-law?
No matter what I say,
Gandhar Raju insists
I take them to Bhairavakona.
We know well enough,
no one goes there and comes back.
Some guy Shera
from Srirangapuram is here
and he wants us
to take them there in our boat.
They didn't come here asking for help,
or demanding servitude.
I brought these city folks here
since they offered us some good money.
Rudra, you can clear your debts.
Your sister's wedding
can take place without a hitch.
If money solves everything,
I'll take them.
We caught the big fish.
What are you saying?
Don't do this, Rudra!
I don't know what Gandhara Raju
has in mind, brother-in-law.
But all that's on my mind
is my sister's wedding.
Hey!
Why are you going to Bhairavakona?
I'm asking you. What are we after?
Well
that thing is as valuable
as it is dangerous.
It's called Sacred Lotus.
What, a lotus?
Someone like you wouldn't know its worth.
Worth? Who risks their life
over a flower and some money?
Come on, man.
Hey, what's with your arrogance?
I was born with it.
What in the hell is this?
Bhairavakona.
Bhairavakona!
Hey, keep moving forward.
Anyone who goes ahead
never comes back.
Why? Are you scared?
-Let's move.
-Let's move.
-Hey!
-They
are children of the forest, not beasts.
-Leave.
-Hey!
Hey!
Hey!
Anyone who stands in my way,
I'll kill them. Even if it's you.
Don't be afraid.
Nothing will happen. It's only a sedative.
What do you want anyway?
The Sacred Lotus?
No matter how hard it is, I'll bring it.
What do you say?
Let's hold it!
Th-- The Sacred Lotus.
It's aboard that flight.
Will you go?
You gave your word.
Now, you go.
Hey!
Hey! Jump!
Wake up! Wake up.
-Brother. Please come here.
-Yes, dear.
Please lend me a hand.
-Hey, he's our Rudhra!
-Come on, help him.
Can I ask you something?
I saw you once
at the Srirangapuram festivities.
You remembered me rather well,
for having seen me only once.
How could I ever forget
the moment my life truly began?
Did I say something wrong?
No.
Abdali!
It was within reach,
and then it slipped away, Bhairagi.
It reached exactly
where it was meant to, Abdali.
Such is the power of Time.
Just as Time brought you to me,
that Sacred Lotus
would have reached its destined place too.
Many soldiers
must fall before a war is won.
Then to obtain the Sacred Lotus
that rules the universe,
how many more heads must roll?
I'll be back, Bhairagi.
Not alone.
Along with the Sacred Lotus.
Abdali!
On the next full moon,
the Sacred Lotus
will reach its peak power.
Its energy will free me
from this Tree of Time.
Remember!
This is my last chance!
She
She and Shera have been missing
since the night of the Brahmotsavam.
Do you know why I really came here?
Why is he frozen in place instead of
telling us how the Sacred Lotus was lost?
Mr. Achyutachari, what is all this?
Why won't you say anything?
What can he say?
What is there to say?
He can neither evade responsibility,
not escape from here.
Just as he's been swallowing
the Lord's offerings every day,
he may well have stolen
the Sacred Lotus too.
Sriranga!
What are you all even saying?
It is not right to suspect a man
who has devoted his entire life
to this temple of being a thief.
Mr. Sarathi, humiliating him like this
without knowing the truth is not right.
Ma'am, it's not him
who's being humiliated.
It is the temple's legacy.
He has dishonored a heritage
preserved for generations.
Why are you silent, Mr. Varma?
Mr. Achyuta, what is all this?
Why won't you say anything?
If it is obvious that he did it,
why would we care about his opinion?
-Throw him out.
-Huh?
-Get out!
-Dear.
-What are you doing?
-[all] Get him out. Now!
-Stop it!
-[all] Get lost!
It is not for you
to decide right from wrong.
Only God can.
He says the Lord's feet are his home,
the Lord's service is his breath.
He tends to the deity in the sanctum
like a child in its mother's womb.
Why would he ever commit such a sin?
If you all truly believe he did this,
I will prove that
you are wrong to suspect him,
and wrong to shame him!
Wherever the Sacred Lotus may be
I will bring it back.
The reason I was lying there, wounded
was because of the Sacred Lotus.
-What? You saw the Sacred Lotus?
-Yeah.
Where did you see it? Where is it now?
-That
-Rudra!
-Brother. Brother.
-Rudra!
-Brother-in-law!
-Mom!
Rudra!
Why did you go to Bhairavakona? Huh?
What is this, brother?
Why would you risk your life
for my wedding?
What would happen to us
if anything happened to you?
How did you stay away from me
for so many days?
-Tell me.
-Hey, Manasa!
Are you trying to put him back to sleep?
I kept telling him, Aunt.
But would he listen to me?
He risked his life believing
Gandhara Raja's deceptive words.
If this girl hadn't arrived in time,
we would've lost our Rudra.
You didn't save just one life, dear.
You saved three.
Not three. Four.
Alright.
What do you say, brother-in-law?
-What is your name, dear?
-Parvathi.
From now on, you are one of our family.
Manasa's wedding is in two days.
You must come.
I'll give you stallions to ride
And a kingdom to rule
I'll give you stallions to ride
And a kingdom to rule
Come, O bridegroom
Ascend the sacred dais
Come, O bridegroom
Ascend the sacred dais
Come, O bridegroom
Ascend the sacred dais
Let the stars whirl and shine
Hoy! Hoy!
Let us raise festoons afar
Hoy! Hoy!
Slaughter the finest rams
Hoy! Hoy!
Cook the choicest goats
Hoy! Hoy!
The village has woven
A silken bridal saree
The goddess herself has sent
Her blessings upon you
The heavens descend
To raise these wedding canopies
Mother Earth herself
Has laid this sacred altar
Kith and kin gather
To shower blessings upon you
Let this wedding
Be celebrated grandly
Blow the sacred horn
Proclaim it aloud
Lift the bridal palanquin
Hailo Hailessa
Bring forth the feast
From river and field
Let joy whirl around
Hailo Hailessa
When he clasps my fingers
My anklets softly chime
My cheeks bloom red
Like the Moduga flower
Pearl-like grains adorn
Her radiant face
The groom shines like a gem
Draped in silken grace
The daughter raised with love
Leaves her mother behind today
When he clasps my fingers
My anklets softly chime
My cheeks bloom red
Like the Moduga flower
Your love overflows
Like an endless river
Protect us always
O noble lord
Like Ganga and Gowri
We place our faith in you
She crosses her village
To belong to another home
All our people pray
She stays blessed with you
Even if life demands sacrifice
She remains my soul
I swear upon
The blood within me
Wherever I may be
I shall guard her in my heart
I shall remain beside her
Like a shadow
Blow the sacred horn
Proclaim it aloud
Lift the bridal palanquin
Hailo Hailessa
Bring forth the feast
From river and field
Let joy whirl around
Hailo Hailessa
Raja!
Raja!
Dear!
Dear!
Raju! Raju!
-Raja
-Oh God!
Oh no!
Suvarna!
You really wanted to get married, huh?
You were meant to be in my bed.
If you insist on being with him
do you think I'll let you? Come!
You're making a mistake! Let her go!
Sister!
Hey! Let her go! I'm talking to yo--
-Hey, he's your father!
-Hey!
You watched while I was humiliated!
You watched while hands were laid on me!
You watched while my honor
was dragged through the streets!
As a father, you've done nothing for me.
Be it the man
who fathered me, or his wife
Whoever stands against me
After all this time, I finally see
my family truly is and who isn't.
I'm telling you, as your aunt.
Hack him down, Rudra!
There's the bugger you wanted.
Hey, Rudra!
I thought you'd die
that day in Bhairavakona.
But today
Even if the Goddess herself descends,
she cannot save you or your family!
Nephew!
Drag her here!
Hey! Bind him up!
-Rudra!
-Brother!
Rudra!
Rudra! He's no ordinary man!
-A demon! You saw it yourself.
-It's the truth.
He turned your village
into a sea of blood.
-No!
-Listen to me.
Tell me where the Sacred Lotus is!
Speak!
Had I known,
I'd have brought it long ago!
This won't make him speak.
Stab him! That'll do it!
-Brother-in law!
-Hey!
Rudra! Rudra!
Someone save him! Oh, God!
-Do you want me to kill them all?
-My--
-Oh, dear!
-My love--
Hey!
Mother!
How can you just stand there
like a statue after seeing all this?
Alas!
Stop!
You think you are
a great devotee like Prahlada?
Call upon your savior then!
Let me see!
Hey!
-No!
-Leave her!
Mother!
Anyway
For the Lord to descend on earth
This is not the era of Kalki
It's Kali's era!
My era!
No matter how many births I take
It is all for my own desire.
Until my wish is fulfilled
I shall keep returning.
What will make you
handover the Sacred Lotus?
No matter how many lives you take
The truth will never leave his lips, sir.
Like the sorcerer's life
hidden in a parrot
His life rests within that bird.
-I'll give you stallions to ride
-Hey!
Hey!
-Hey! Leave my sister!
-Please let Manasa go.
Your sister is your very life, is she not?
Will you speak now or shall I kill her?
Brother!
Hey!
Brother!
Brother!
Hey.
Kill him!
Hey!
Are You there or not, O Eshwara?
If You are, what divine drama?
You are a God who cannot guard or save
Is all this sin
Your share to brave?
For us
Is birth itself a chain, a curse?
O Eshwara
-For You, is the funeral fire
-Hey, wait!
Salvation's verse?
O Eternal One
Time itself
-My life.
-Like poison fell
Sister!
Time itself, like poison fell
Carving wounds so deep
Silence turned a lullaby
Asking me no reply to keep
Time itself like poison fell
Carving wounds so deep
Silence turned a lullaby
Asking me no reply to keep
What do you say?
My love--
Eshwara!
Eshwara!
Hey, Shiva!
My name isn't Shiva.
It's Rudra!
They're both the same.
When he lets go, he's Rudra.
When he embraces, he's Shiva.
That's the only difference.
What is it? Thinking too much?
Or drowning in sorrow?
When your dreams burn
before your eyes,
faith begins to slip away.
Only the one who holds on tight
can keep from falling apart.
Swami, death is what gives beauty to life.
But man fails to understand that
and keeps chasing worldly attachments.
He grants nine months for birth
but he can snatch it away in an instant.
Have you ever wondered why?
Because if death came with a warning,
man would spend his whole life
destroying himself in fear.
That's what I'm afraid of.
Swami!
Life is about moving forward
while holding onto memories
of the departed and searching
for unanswered questions!
Swami!
Even Shiva himself, smeared in sacred ash,
he didn't perish with his beloved
when he lost her to the flames, Swami.
He sought the reason behind it
and destroyed everyone responsible.
"I don't want this war! I won't fight it!"
When Arjuna tried
to walk away in detachment
didn't Lord Krishna
bring him back to Kurukshetra?
What you do for yourself is duty.
What you do for others is righteousness.
Grieving endlessly
over the dead is futile.
Because you came into this world alone,
and you'll leave it alone too.
Swami.
Do you know
what truly lasts forever in this world?
Truth shall be your mother,
wisdom your father,
righteousness is your sibling,
compassion is your friend,
peace is your wife
and forgiveness is your child.
Only these six are eternal.
Everything else is temporary.
Time will tell you why you were born.
But only you can discover
the meaning of your birth.
You'll find it.
Rudra you'll find your path.
Yeah.
Lord of Ashes, O Linga
What is this divine play of yours?
Parvathi.
Do you know why I'm actually here?
-The Sacred Lotus
-Tell me where it is.
-It is known as Sacred Lotus.
-Some guy from town named Shera.
You'll find your path.
Have you seen the Sacred Lotus?
She and Shera are missing.
Poor soul. How did he die?
He falsely accused Achyutachari,
who had done nothing wrong.
He's gone.
-I knew you would come.
-They destroyed our entire settlement.
They took away everyone
I ever called my own.
They reduced our lives to ashes.
All for that Sacred Lotus
They killed my sister
under a wedding canopy.
They turned my mother into a corpse.
They drowned the entire village
in blood, even innocent children.
Mom!
What's your connection to Shera,
the man behind this massacre?
We have nothing to do with Shera.
The reason behind all this
Their arrival that day
ruined our lives
and disgraced our lineage.
You're not asking for help to do good.
You're asking me to aid a wrongdoing.
That will never happen,
even if I lose my life.
Ravi Varma
You may set and rise again, like the sun.
But your bloodline your children
once they perish
they'll never rise again.
Anyone can bring the temple key.
But only Achyutachari
can open the temple doors.
Achyuta? Who is he?
He's the temple's chief priest.
Only he knows the secret.
Not even the fear of death
could make him speak.
-Then how do we make him talk?
-Earn his trust.
Trust cuts deeper than fear.
Make him trust you.
As part of the plan,
Parvathi entered Achyutachari's family.
She got close to them
and earned everyone's trust.
To keep themselves informed
of every event
They sent Shera to us.
Parvati, having uncovered the secret
of the lock that no one else knew,
on the final night of the festivities
But
carrying a god is
easier than
stealing one.
-Hello.-Ravi Varma.
The plane crashed near Bhairavakona.
The Sacred Lotus
remains inside the wreckage.
Tell Parvathi immediately.
It was for that Sacred Lotus
that Parvathi and Shera
came to your hamlet.
I don't know what happened
after Parvathi and Shera
reached your village.
But,
if you want to know the whole truth
you must first find Parvathi.
Go straight and turn right.
Guruji!
Parvathi, my dear!
What happened? Tell me!
-Forgive me, Guruji.
-What happened, child?
-What happened?
-I must tell you the truth.
The one who stole the Sacred Lotus
was none other than me.
You'd have heard
tales of demons in legends
and read about them in books.
But I saw one with my own eyes.
That demon is Zulfiqar Ali.
It was because of him
that I committed this terrible act.
I never did it willingly, Guruji.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me.
Mr. Prabhakar,
the Indian Archaeology Department Chief
was my father.
My sister Revathi, Tesla,
and Zulfiqar Ali
were all archaeology students together.
My sister and Tesla
fell in love with each other.
Since Tesla is a Britisher,
my father didn't approve.
So they got married
without his knowledge.
-Yeah, sure. Hi, Parvathi.
-Stop!
You married against my wishes.
Go wherever you please.
Sister!
Unable to forget what my sister did,
father stopped going to work
and shut himself away in grief.
-Some time later
-[phone rings]
What?!
Congratulations! Are you serious?
Dad! you're going to be a granddad.
The moment he learned he had
a granddaughter,
he invited them home.
Grandpa!
After that, Riya became his whole world.
Grandpa!
My father's love for Riya grew stronger,
but his anger toward
Tesla never faded.
Driven by that anger,
my father entrusted Ali with finding
the Temple of the Virata Purusha
and asked him to assist Tesla.
Tesla found the Nagabandham scripture
during that research.
Realizing Ali would come
for the Nagabandham scripture at any cost
Sir, I only trust you.
India's future is in your hands.
Please let us go, Uncle!
Daddy!
Daddy!
-Riya, my dear
-Grandpa!
-Come here.
-Grandpa.
Grandpa Mommy!
Mommy
Grandpa, he hit mommy.
-Revathi!
-Mommy.
Robert! Revathi!
Robert! Hey! Hey!
-Revathi
-Dad! Dad!
Rev-- Revathi!
-Revathi! You
-What kind of people are you?
You never showed this love
while they were alive.
Did it appear only after they died?!
Hey!
This is the book you wanted, right?
Take it and let my Grandpa go.
Please, Uncle. Let us go.
-Revathi, my child!
-Dad!
-You won't have to be angry anymore
-No.
I won't be there either.
Dear Revathi!
My baby Ba--
-Take care of her, Dad.
-Don't say that.
-Mommy! Mommy!
-Revathi.
-Revathi, my child!
-Mommy! No!
Hey, Ali!
If the Serpent seal
is like a Lotus formation,
the scripture in your hand is
an Abhimanyu!
It will only show you the way in!
Grandpa!
So you're the solution
to find my way back.
Later on,
my father found out that Sacred Lotus
is in Srirangapuram
through Nagabandham scripture.
But
my conscience wouldn't allow me
to steal the Sacred Lotus.
At that moment
Riya!
Riya!
Bringing it here isn't that easy.
And Riya?
She misses you a lot.
The longer you delay,
the greater the danger.
Dad
this isn't just wrong it's a sin.
I don't know where this will lead us.
When something becomes unavoidable,
we can't think about right and wrong.
When the intention is pure,
one who accepts
even poison as nectar is God.
He will understand.
Even asking for forgiveness
feels like a grave sin now.
We desecrated a sacred temple
for our own selfish needs.
-And I framed you for it.
-You should be killed.
-Rudra?
-You drove him away from the temple.
You took away everyone I had.
Rudra!
I had nothing to do
with that massacre, Rudra.
I came to your village
only for the Sacred Lotus.
And I met you.
That day, no one who went
after the Sacred Lotus returned.
But I found you
lying injured on the shore.
I searched you,
thinking you might have it.
But it wasn't there.
You were the only one
who knew anything about it.
That's why I saved you.
I tried many times to ask you about it
after you regained consciousness.
But before that could happen
the tragedy unfolded.
Why have you come now?
We brought
you the Sacred Lotus you wanted.
Where is our Riya?
Return my granddaughter to me.
It's not over yet, Prabhakar.
There's one small task left.
What else is left now except destruction?
The very land I once walked with pride,
the culture I spoke of with honor,
you made me betray that very soil.
Hey!
You burned down the village,
and slaughtered innocent people.
Using a little girl's life as leverage,
you turned a patriot into a traitor.
What more is left now?
Tell me! What else is left?!
-What else?!
-Ali
Please let us go.
We can't endure this anymore.
Kill both of us if you want!
But please spare Riya.
Ever since we obeyed you,
every moment of our lives
has felt like breathing poison.
After witnessing so much betrayal
and so many deaths
What is even left for us to live for?
We can't take this anymore.
Show us some mercy.
There's only one thing
this Abdali doesn't know.
Mercy.
I need one final thing from you.
Please understand.
He wants the Garuda mantras!
We'll stay alive
only if we hand them over to Ali.
Only you can save us, Guruji.
Salutations to Shiva and Vishnu
each the reflection of the other.
Our ancestors used to say
that along with the Sacred Lotus,
these palm-leaf scriptures,
were also entrusted to us by sages.
I believe you alone
will restore the Sacred Lotus,
to Lord Ranganatha's navel, son.
Here.
May victory be yours.
Bhairagi!
Leave me!
Grandpa!
Riya!
-My dear Riya!
-Grandpa!
-Riya!
-Grandpa!
Riya!
Dear Riya!
The Serpent seal is being unlocked!
A dream I cherished for years
is finally becoming reality today.
Abdali!
The time to rule the universe
is drawing near.
The eclipse full moon is approaching.
The Serpent seal will be unlocked!
Now all that's left,
is to get my hands on the Garuda mantras.
Soon they'll be in your hands, Bhairagi.
Once the Garuda mantras arrive,
you reciting them will open
the Serpent sealed gate,
and we'll step inside
everything will happen
as planned, Bhairagi.
Fool!
To protect righteousness, in every age,
in whatever form he must take,
however many times he must be reborn,
the Lord will always return.
And he will stop demons like you
from entering that divine gateway.
Kali controls the Time now, Prabhakar.
No one can stop our mission anymore.
No one is coming.
Grandpa!
Grandpa!
Aunt!
Grandpa!
Riya!
Dad! Dad!
Grandpa, please!
Dad
Hey!
Shiva!
Please, come.
-Greetings.
-Greetings, Swami.
What do you have
in your hands, little one?
A Tulasi garland for the Lord.
May you live long!
Everyone get inside the gate!
Quick! Get inside!
Lord Ranganatha!
Move. Quickly!
Quickly!
Close the doors!
-Everyone, get inside!
-Mom! Mom!
Govinda!
Lord Ranganatha!
Please protect us.
Govinda!
Sir!
-Mom.
-They're kids, sir. I beg you.
Don't do this!
-I beg you. Spare them, sir.
-Mom.
Sir!
-Please, sir. Let her go.
-Please leave. Please leave!
Please leave us.
Protect this Sacred Lotus.
It will protect you.
-Okay
-Go, child. Go!
Okay, Guruji.
Hurry.
Be careful.
Please protect us.
Narayana!
Oh Lord!
Please protect us, Lord!
[in Hindi] I found it!
Well done, Bhairagi!
Well done!
Every word you said has come true.
Now I shall rule the world
with this treasure.
With the corpses of these Hindus,
I will spread fear.
I will plant our flag
on this nation's soil.
Tell me, Bhairagi, tell me!
What do you desire?
What are you searching for, Bhairagi?
The Sacred Lotus.
What's that?
This treasure can only rule the earth.
But the Sacred Lotus
that rested upon the Lord's navel
rules the entire universe!
-I want that Sacred Lotus!
-You will never obtain it, Bhairagi.
Hey!
You'll never get it.
You'll never get it!
Hey, Priest
tell me where the Sacred Lotus is.
Ranganatha, death arrives
even when uninvited.
Do not summon it by force.
You fool!
-You cannot decide life and death.
-Hey!
Only the Supreme One can.
Without His command
nothing can occur
upon this earth He created!
Hey, Priest!
Where is your God?
Him?
Does this lifeless stone
really possess such power?
To you, it may seem like a mere stone.
But it is no stone. It's not!
It is the source of our very breath.
In the wind that blows everywhere
in the waters that flow
in every single atom
the Supreme dwells everywhere.
Is that so? In this stone?
When arrogance consumes your mind,
death devours you.
Your very nature
turns poisonous.
That is when man
starts believing he is God.
God!
God is the Creator.
For upholding dharma
when demons like you obstruct the path
When evil crosses all limits
to protect righteousness
God incarnates Himself
to destroy vile demons like you.
God will descend
for your destruction as well.
For every head you've severed,
for every temple you've destroyed
He will settle the score.
He will end your reign.
After slaughtering everyone here,
and forcing us to bow down,
that arrogant head of yours
is swollen with pride, isn't it?
He will sever it
and cast it
into the sacred fire of Sanatana Dharma.
You will turn to ash. Ash!
Shiva!
It's the Sacred Lotus!
[Sanskrit mantras]
Timeless Bhairava
Blue-throated Lord of darkness
Om
Three-eyed one with matted locks
Destroyer of time across all ages
Om
With the thunderous beat of Damaru
His roaring rhythm shakes the heavens
He performs the fierce Tandava
May Lord Shiva bless us with peace
Destroyer of desire
Destroyer of cities
Destroyer of worldly bonds
Destroyer of sacrifice
Slayer of Gajasura
Destroyer of Andhaka
I bow to the One
Who destroys all darkness
Hara Hara Hara Hara Hara!
The storm clouds of war
Tear through the skies

The Trident stands forever
As our shield and guiding force
Veera Naga
The secret army of Rudra

Salutations to the Benign One
Our endless reverence
To the Sky-Clad Lord
Sacred
Lotus
Stop!
Our dharma is eternal.
Our deity is eternal.
Our lives are an offering to Lord Shiva.
Our courage lies
in protecting Hindu dharma.
Lord Shankara of Kailasa himself
descended as Kaladi Shankara
The shield of protection
he bestowed upon this Vedic land
is the Naga Sadhu way of life.
We have attained the supreme state
by inhaling within our breath,
the primal Rudra energies
that govern the cosmos itself.
This land is the abode of saffron.
A sanctuary of dharma.
Whenever Hindu society loses its way
and devotion weakens,
ours is the lineage of Adi Shankaracharya,
born from the union
of spiritual power and penance.
Hindutva is not a religion.
It is benevolence.
The destruction of the heretical forces
that seek to harm it
is our sole purpose!
Endless madness is raging with arrogance.
It marched to spill blood
across this saffron land.
With the command of Adi Shankaracharya
and the blessings of Adiyogi,
lets rip open the hearts
of those desert men!
If they so much as dream
of setting foot in these Himalayas,
we'll show them
not even their bones will be found!
Let's show them what happens
when this Vedic land
becomes a battlefield!
Let's prove that
heads are bound to roll
when Shiva's army marches!
Let us unleash the valor
of Sanatana Dharma in our blood
and dye the Himalayan snow
red with theirs!
For the protection of dharma,
let us all become Rudras of Time!
[in Sanskrit] This is the Eternal Dharma!
This is the Eternal Dharma!
Hara Hara Mahadev!
[all] Hara Hara Mahadev!
[all] Hara Hara Mahadev!
Is this the Sacred Lotus, Bhairagi?
Yes, this is it.
Yes, this is the one.
Wow!
Does this Sacred Lotus
truly possess the power
to rule the universe, Bhairagi?
Yes!
I can't believe it.
The universe doesn't run
on your belief, Abdali.
This Sacred Lotus is the key
to the great divine gateway,
created by Brahma.
By invoking Adisesha's serpent lineages,
the eight-direction mantra Serpent seal
is now released.
The Serpent seal?
[in Hindi] What is that?
To the north of the Himalayan peaks,
at the foothills of Mount Kailash,
there's the hidden temple
of that Virata Purusha.
Right there
is the divine gateway
which was sealed by the Serpent seal.
After the Dwapara Yuga ended,
to prevent humans
from entering that gateway,
while the enlightened sages
performed a grand ritual
using their mystical powers
during the 200th full moon,
the Sacred Lotus
emerged from the sacred fire.
They sealed
the divine gateway with that ritual.
Fearing that evil forces in the Kali Yuga
might seize the Sacred Lotus
and open the gateway,
they invoked the most powerful serpents
and sealed it using the Serpent seal.
They inscribed the Garuda mantras,
used to unseal the Serpent seal,
in tantric script
upon palm-leaf manuscripts,
and placed the Sacred Lotus
Install this Sacred Lotus
in the Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple.
They installed it in the foremost
among the 108 Vaishnava temples,
the Ranganatha Temple of Srirangapuram
To unseal the Serpent seal,
we must install the Sacred Lotus
upon the golden pedestal,
and chant the Garuda mantras
before the 200th full moon.
Only then can
the divine gateway be opened.
Otherwise
Anyway what lies
beyond that gateway, Bhairagi?
[in Hindi] There are many here!
[Sanskrit mantra chanting]
What is happening, Bhairagi?
Prepare the army at once, Abdali.
We must leave this place immediately.
Take the Sacred Lotus.
Hara!
Hara! Hara!
Hara! Hara!
The Naga Sadhus
Veera Naga
The secret army of Rudra
Vaira Naga
The doom that unleashes hell
Swaira Naga
The destiny of a thousand births
Fierce Naga! Divine Naga!
Veera Naga
The secret army of Rudra
Vaira Naga
The doom that unleashes hell
Hara Hara Mahadev!
Shiva!
Shiva!
Shiva!
Bhairagi!
Until you undo this serpent's seal,
no one can stop you.
Go!
Hey!
If you are the guardian
of this Serpent seal,
then I am the demon
who rules this earth!
I heard no one could get past
the Naga Sadhus and enter inside.
Well, he did.
[Sanskrit shloka]
[Sanskrit chanting continues]
You roam around
with ash smeared on your body.
You're worthless.
And what is your invisible God worth?
Are you mighty enough
to rule the five elements?
Though you destroyed our temples,
you cannot destroy our dharma.
We worship the Sun.
Can you stop it?
We worship the Earth.
Can you uproot it?
We worship the rivers.
Can you drain them?
We worship the forests.
Can you cut them all down?
The air we breathe is God.
The fire that burns is God.
God is the source
of this universe's salvation
and its annihilation.
Ultimately,
If you take our lives, the God who
gave us life will end His own.
Then call him here!
[in Sanskrit] Before the sacred idol
of Mahagaruda, all venom is subdued.
Destroyer and remover of poison,
let it be destroyed.
The poison has perished.
All of it has vanished.
The poison is destroyed,
the venom is slain.
By the sacred invocation,
the poison is vanquished.
May it be struck down
by Indras thunderbolt!
[in Sanskrit] Before the sacred idol
of Mahagaruda, all poison is subdued.
Hara Hara Mahadev!
[in Sanskrit] Move forth, move forth.
Doer of all deeds,
embodiment of every poison
Corrupter of poison, nourisher of poison.
[in Sanskrit] Sever the serpent bonds.
Release us from the serpents snare.
Sever the serpent--
Bhairagi!
Riya!
Riya! Riya!
[Sanskrit chanting]
Revered in all three worlds.
The fierce and dreadful One,
blazing like the fire of doom.
To the Lord of adamantine claws!
The One with the mighty beak!
Riya! Are you okay?
Riya!
[in Sanskrit] Sever the serpent bonds.
Release us from the serpents snare.
Abdali! Abdali
God is watching everything.
He will definitely punish you.
You can't even look directly at the sun.
How dare you speak ill of the God
whose vision is as wide spread?
You can't even touch fire.
How dare you seek to destroy
the God whose eyes are fire?
You are but a scavenging dog
searching for scraps in the desert.
And you dare challenge the Lord
who sustains the infinite universe?
Hey! We are Hindus.
Righteousness is our way of life.
Compassion is our nature.
We shelter anyone who seeks refuge.
We help anyone who asks for aid.
But if you mistake that kindness
for weakness and raise your sword
we will turn your heads into skulls
and wear them around our necks.
This alone is eternal!
Hara Hara Mahadev!
Hara Hara Mahadev!
So what lies behind that door, Aunt?
To know that, we must know what transpired
between the end of the Dwapara Yuga
and the dawn of the Kali Yuga.
But their greed to rule the universe
led to their downfall.
Even in the Kali Yuga,
mankind still seeks immortality.
Yet they cannot comprehend
that God is both
the beginning and the end.
Still, they search for a way
to conquer death.
What power governs the universe today?
And where does it dwell?
Zulfi! Was this the place
where Abdali fought in 1757?
Prabhakar's research papers
mention this very place.
Tesla!
Tesla! Give me your hand.
Come on!
Abdali!
Come!
Abdali!
Come!
Come!
Have you come, Abdali?
Have you come, Abdali?
Remember this, Afghan Sultan Abdali.
We both have the same goal.
To open the Nagabandha gate.
To rule over this creation.
For that to happen,
The keys to opening that gate,
the Sacred Lotus,
and the Garuda mantras,
must fall into our hands.
Find them, wherever they may be.
Go!
Go!
Dear students!
Assemble here.
Remember one thing.
You would need a lifetime to find
even one of the artefacts shown here.
Yet one man discovered them all.
The longest-serving director
in Indian archaeology,
a man capable of deciphering
any archaeological inscription,
I present to you
the archaeological genius, Mr. Prabhakar.
Welcome, sir. Please.
-[all] Pleasure to meet you, sir!
-Thank you. Thank you!
Sir, the world knows
about your achievements and legacy.
But your failure
Sir? Sir!
Some questions shape the future.
And some others
haunt the past.
What exactly is it, sir?
The Virata Purusha form
Vishnu assumed on Earth,
a marvel before which
even the mighty Himalayas bowed.
He who turned the infinite cosmos
into a lotus and bore it upon his navel
a temple dedicated to that Virata Purusha.
The search for it
consumed thirty years
of my life and experience.
This defeat isn't mine alone.
It left a bitter mark
on many throughout history.
-So there's no path to it now, sir?
-There is.
In 1757, Sultan Abdali
of Afghanistan and his minister
supposedly wrote a book about
the temple attack and the path to it.
This inscription claims so.
That book is the only guide to the path.
So where is that book, sir?
-Sir. Tesla here.
-Yes, Tesla.
-I must speak to Mr. Prabhakar urgently.
-Wait a minute.
Sir! Tesla is on the phone.
He says it's urgent.
-Sorry! Sorry!
-Hey!
-[in Hindi] Watch where you're going!
-Please forgive me.
-Where do these people come from?
-Sorry.
Stop! Stop!
[in Hindi] Do you have a pass?
-Sir!
-Security, let him in.
-He's our guy.
-Okay, sir! Go!
This summit
will greatly benefit the country.
-Your support is vital for our nation.
-Mr. Murali Prasad!
Prabhakar? Excuse me.
Yes, Prabhakar.
I need to meet the Prime Minister
immediately. It's an important matter.
Everything here is important.
No one meets the Prime Minister casually.
We have rules and protocols.
Come to the office tomorrow morning.
We'll discuss it then.
Sir, it's very important.
Who is he?
He's Tesla, an archaeology
research scholar.
-Oh!
-Trust me.
This is going to change India's future.
This meeting
is also about Indians' future.
The inscriptions and relics
you discover won't change the future.
But policies will change India
by creating big wealth.
Sir, what you're talking about
is the wealth
India may gain in the future.
But what I'm talking about
is the immense wealth
already hidden in this country.
Come on, Tesla!
Prabhakar, enjoy the evening.
Sir, hear me out!
It's about Nagabandham.
What nonsense are you talking?
Do you even know what you're saying?
This isn't what you told me before!
You think this is a joke?
People have only heard about Nagabandham.
No one has ever seen it.
Our archaeology department
has researched it for years.
We never found a single clue.
But, I've got it, sir.
Alright.
You wait here, I'll come back.
-Please!
-Of course!
Sir!
Sure!
Okay!
The PM wants to see you
at his residence tomorrow at 8 AM.
-Okay, see you.
-Okay.
-Sir, sir!
-Yes!
[in Hindi] Sir! Please, sir!
Please buy a toy, sir.
Please, sir!
Please buy a toy, sir.
-Please, sir!
-How much?
Give me whatever you can, sir.
Brother, whose vehicle is this?
This is India, sir. We'll change India.
Robert, stop the car.
-Bye, sir!
-Tesla!
-Yes, sir.
-Don't overthink it.
It's Riya's birthday today.
Let's meet for dinner.
-Hmm.
-Okay, sir. I'll see you.
Riya!
Daddy!
Come on my dear baby!
-Happy Birthday, baby! I love you!
-Thank you, Daddy.
Where's my gift?
-I must've forgotten it in the car.
-It's okay, give after some time.
-Are you sure? Come!
-I'm sure.
-Come!
-Mom and I've been waiting
for you for so long.
-Tessie!
-I'm sorry, baby!
Why are you so late?
Ah Father!
-Yes, my son?
-I have to make a confession.
Come!
Riya, go to mom.
Come baby!
Praise the Lord, Father!
I made a mistake
hiding the truth about Zulfikar.
Show me how I can atone for my mistake
Tesla!
Praise the Lord, my son.
-You?
-Yes, I am
the father of all sins.
You just confessed
My son!
Shall I tell you how to atone?
Who decides
the winner and loser
in this game we played?
It's me!
You cheat! I'll kill you!
Daddy!
Let me go!
Mommy.
Tesla!
Mommy!
Hey, Tesla!
Where is the book?
-Tesla!
-Tell me! Tell me!
Daddy!
Your your scheme for the Nagabandham
will never succeed in this lifetime!
No!
No! No!
Tesla! Tesla!
Daddy!
-Uncle, please Uncle, please. No!
-Riya!
Please leave my dad alone!
Uncle, please release my dad!
-Uncle! Please, uncle!
-Shh!
Cute cute baby.
Were you scared?
You don't have to be
scared, sweetheart.
He should!
Your dad stole my book
and hid it somewhere.
My mom told me
never to take what belongs to others.
If you want, I'll give you
all the toys I have.
No! I want that book!
-Let's play a game.
-Uncle, No!
Your daddy will give it to me then!
-What do you want?
-Uncle
What exactly do you want?
Ask him.
What's that book, Tesla?
What's that book, Tesla?
She's asking you, isn't she? Tell her!
No matter how many lifetimes you live,
you will never get it!
Don't do this uncle! Please uncle!
No!
Uncle, don't!
Riya, come back!
Riya, just stay here!
Mommy! Uncle, no!
-No, no! No, Uncle! No!
-Riya, come back!
No uncle
Uncle! No!
Mommy!
I will do as you said.
Please let my mommy go
Mommy!
That's exactly what I'm saying, baby.
But your daddy isn't listening.
What can I do?
Give me the book and I'll let you all go.
Otherwise, your mommy
Daddy! Daddy!
Where is the book, Daddy?
-Daddy!
-Sorry!
Daddy?
Daddy? No
Daddy, wake up!
Daddy! Mommy!
Tesla!
God
God is watching everything.
He will surely punish you!
Daddy!
Daddy!
Ali! No!
No! Riya!
-Mrs. Padmamma!
-Namaste, Priest.
The goddess Manasa Devi
is the primordial mother of all serpents.
To that divine mother, everything offered,
be it ritual or offering, is only milk.
Performing the first abhishekam
to the goddess with the milk you bring
is a tradition passed down
through generations.
-So, where are your son and daughter?
-They're coming.
There she is! Ms. Manasa!
It looks like Lord Shiva himself
is carrying his child,
Manasa Devi, in his arms.
My precious!
Be careful!
What is this, brother-in-law?
Did you carry your sister
so her feet wouldn't hurt?
Scumbag!
Mr. Priest!
As the festival day is auspicious,
we've finalized Manasa's marriage
to Raju, son of Narasimha of Nagulakota.
Say something, sister.
What was that?
There's already a groom in the house.
How can you marry her off to an outsider?
What about our honor?
We've been hoping to make Manasa
our daughter-in-law.
No, sister-in-law.
Raju and Manasa
have loved each other since childhood.
Your husband died owing debts,
and that's become a burden now.
My husband lent you our boat
so you could repay that debt, didn't he?
You made money from it, and now
you want to marry her off to him?
How is that fair?
Out of the goodness of my heart,
I even overlooked that debt
and thought of making Manasa
my daughter-in-law.
Is our Kinka not handsome enough?
Is he not worthy?
Hey, why aren't you talking?
Aunt! A marriage without love
is never a good marriage.
-Hey!
-How dare you push my sister?
Who is your aunt?
We don't know where you were born,
or even where you came from.
Who are you to interfere in our matters?
-Mom, stop it!
-Hey!
-What your mom said is true, isn't it?
-Gandhar Raju, stop!
Hey!
He is an orphan
who doesn't know his mother!
-A son who doesn't know his father!
-Hey!
The moment you insulted my brother,
my hand rose on its own!
One more word
-Hey.
-Hey
and I'll slash your neck.
-Hey!
-Hey!
Nephew!
-Hey, stop!
-Manasa.
I'm talking to you.
In the name of Goddess,
I swear to everyone,
Rudra is my son!
My life!
If anyone lays a hand on him
or says even a single word against him,
I'll sever all relationship with them.
Hey, Manasa!
The principle was repaid,
what about the interest?
Who's your aunt?
We don't know where you were born,
or even where you came from.
Brother.
Are you drinking to relive the past
and forget the present?
I mean
You've been hiding away, barely eating,
ever since the incident at the fair.
Your sister could barely open the box,
yet she came to feed you.
Alright, done feeling sad?
Shall I feed you?
Feed him.
Who feels bad for people who only act
when there's something in it for them?
-What's this, brother? Our mom trusts you.
-After you feed him, he'll forget it all.
And you are my life.
Really? What about me?
-Hey, Manasa! What about me?
-Hey!
Rudra, you shouldn't be
thinking about them right now.
You should be thinking about our wedding.
Everyone from the surrounding villages
should attend. It must be a grand affair.
Even if no one attends the wedding,
my brother being there is enough for me.
Not even me?
When I think about your aunt,
I feel like she might try
to stop this wedding.
As long as my brother is with me,
who dares to stop this wedding?
God! Always going on about your brother!
After marriage, instead of
you coming to my house,
I feel like I'll come
live in your house instead.
That's how it is!
I will stay where my heart is.
-Alright then. It's inevitable.
-Brother, it's getting dark.
Let's go home, Mom will be waiting.
You go ahead, I'll come later.
-Come!
-Come quickly, Rudra.
We're leaving now.
Let's meet tomorrow in Srirangapuram.
[chanting]
Everything will be fine
going forward, Janardhan.
What do you mean, fine?
The humiliation I faced at the fair today
felt like my head being cut off.
Ignoring everything I said,
you kept supporting your sister.
What happened now?
Your sister's actions
haven't changed you at all.
Sister!
Seeing you like this
it hurts me deeply.
Even though his sister
Padmamma insulted you so much,
brother-in-law didn't say a word.
He won't! Why would he?
He loves his sister, doesn't he?
He didn't react at all
even when they insulted me so much.
Hey, Rudra! Come here.
-May you live a hundred years! Come!
-Come!
Hey!
Rudra is one of ours!
Go away! Move!
I said go.
Why did you come here?
Uncle, I'm not old enough
to say this to you.
What happened today was wrong.
No matter who is responsible,
everyone was hurt by it.
I came here so that
this pain doesn't turn into anger.
Whether good or bad,
you are all bound by blood.
My sister did that out of love for me.
She has neither
anger nor hatred toward you.
Even if the whole village
attends her wedding,
you're her uncle.
Nothing can replace you.
If I am the only problem here,
I'll leave after her wedding.
-Hey!
-Brother!
-Hey, Kinka! Hey.
-Who are you, man?
What difference does it make
whether you stay or leave?
Hey!
-Hey!
-Brother, stop.
That disgraceful woman is not my aunt,
and the other worthless woman
is not my sister-in-law!
I'll endure it.
Call me anything you want.
I'll endure it!
If you speak lightly
because I came to compromise,
I will behead you.
Is that clear?
[Lord Rama hymn chant]
Dear, Parvathi, your Guru is coming.
Saraswathi,
are the prayer arrangements ready?
Your disciple,
who knows your every routine
-has already completed the arrangements.-Namo Narayanaya.
Please bless me, Guruji.
May you live a long life!
She is another disciple.
Her name is Priyamani.
Sent by Raja Ravi Varma.
She has come here
to learn the Vedas from you.
Among all things in creation,
the wisdom of the Vedas alone is eternal.
Learning the Vedas is not merely useful,
It is a blessing.
I will definitely teach you.
What is in that box?
The key to the sanctum doors
of Ranganatha Swamy temple.
And that?
The Kunchakola.
It is used to open the main temple doors.
So many questions on your first day?
I'll explain eventually.
Greetings, sir!
Govinda Govinda!
Govinda Govinda!
May you live long!
Om Namo Ranganathaya Namah!
Are the arrangements
for the Lord's festival going well?
By the grace of sacred chants,
everything is going in perfect order.
Though our family has overseen
the temple for generations,
its true responsibility rests with you.
As long as the temple and its traditions
are under your care, we can rest easy.
I bow to Lord Narayana!
That is our good fortune.
As you said, this temple is extraordinary.
It is ancient and immensely significant.
It is our fortune to be entrusted
with conducting these celebrations.
May it be auspicious.
I shall take my leave.
Om Namo Narayanaya!
Wait, Parvathi.
Guruji, may I ask a small doubt?
Go ahead, dear.
Every day the deity is adorned
with different decorations, right?
Even if it's priceless, why hold
a grand festival for a golden flower?
Festivals are not about
form or splendor, my dear.
There she goes again.
They are dedicated to the divine essence.
To keep society united
and free of divisions,
the Creator established
festivals as a sacred bond.
It is not a golden flower,
but the Sacred Lotus.
Its power and significance
may sound like mere folklore to you.
-Wait. Dear Parvathi.
-Guruji?
Can you tell this girl, in simple words,
what you found
in your research about this temple?
In the mid-17th century,
this Ranganatha Swamy temple
was destroyed by fire.
The then king, Ranga Martanda Varma
went to the Himalayas
to rebuild the temple.
There, while bringing Shaligram stones
believed to be
the embodiment of Lord Vishnu
a Naga Sadhu is said to have given him
this Sacred Lotus, as our history tells.
That is why, every Kartika Purnima,
grand festivities are held here.
Forgive me, Guruji.
I spoke out of ignorance.
Young people don't ask from ignorance.
They ask because they're curious.
Our culture is praised by the whole world.
Let us not diminish it. Do you understand?
Let's go.
Manasa, we've reached
your mother-in-law's village.
Alright.
Come, Rudra!
-Brother-in-law!
-Are you sober now?
Come!
You look like a beautiful doll, dear.
Your mother isn't with you?
She's busy with the wedding preparations.
Once you fulfill your vow to the Lord,
you'll never have to point a weapon again.
Come, brother.
-You go ahead!
-Okay, you stay here. We'll be back.
-Come on, dear.
-Hurry, the celebrations are beginning!

Robert!
Sir, it's too risky.
We can't go back. Keep going!
-I've lost control.
-Take control!
Hold on tight, sir.
Hold on!
I'm talking to you.
I told you I don't want to go.
How many times must I say it?
Raja doesn't listen
no matter what I say, brother.
I went fishing for a small fish
and ended up with a whale.
I told you to send them away.
Hey Rudra, come on!
-You're right on time.
-What's wrong, brother-in-law?
No matter what I say,
Gandhar Raju insists
I take them to Bhairavakona.
We know well enough,
no one goes there and comes back.
Some guy Shera
from Srirangapuram is here
and he wants us
to take them there in our boat.
They didn't come here asking for help,
or demanding servitude.
I brought these city folks here
since they offered us some good money.
Rudra, you can clear your debts.
Your sister's wedding
can take place without a hitch.
If money solves everything,
I'll take them.
We caught the big fish.
What are you saying?
Don't do this, Rudra!
I don't know what Gandhara Raju
has in mind, brother-in-law.
But all that's on my mind
is my sister's wedding.
Hey!
Why are you going to Bhairavakona?
I'm asking you. What are we after?
Well
that thing is as valuable
as it is dangerous.
It's called Sacred Lotus.
What, a lotus?
Someone like you wouldn't know its worth.
Worth? Who risks their life
over a flower and some money?
Come on, man.
Hey, what's with your arrogance?
I was born with it.
What in the hell is this?
Bhairavakona.
Bhairavakona!
Hey, keep moving forward.
Anyone who goes ahead
never comes back.
Why? Are you scared?
-Let's move.
-Let's move.
-Hey!
-They
are children of the forest, not beasts.
-Leave.
-Hey!
Hey!
Hey!
Anyone who stands in my way,
I'll kill them. Even if it's you.
Don't be afraid.
Nothing will happen. It's only a sedative.
What do you want anyway?
The Sacred Lotus?
No matter how hard it is, I'll bring it.
What do you say?
Let's hold it!
Th-- The Sacred Lotus.
It's aboard that flight.
Will you go?
You gave your word.
Now, you go.
Hey!
Hey! Jump!
Wake up! Wake up.
-Brother. Please come here.
-Yes, dear.
Please lend me a hand.
-Hey, he's our Rudhra!
-Come on, help him.
Can I ask you something?
I saw you once
at the Srirangapuram festivities.
You remembered me rather well,
for having seen me only once.
How could I ever forget
the moment my life truly began?
Did I say something wrong?
No.
Abdali!
It was within reach,
and then it slipped away, Bhairagi.
It reached exactly
where it was meant to, Abdali.
Such is the power of Time.
Just as Time brought you to me,
that Sacred Lotus
would have reached its destined place too.
Many soldiers
must fall before a war is won.
Then to obtain the Sacred Lotus
that rules the universe,
how many more heads must roll?
I'll be back, Bhairagi.
Not alone.
Along with the Sacred Lotus.
Abdali!
On the next full moon,
the Sacred Lotus
will reach its peak power.
Its energy will free me
from this Tree of Time.
Remember!
This is my last chance!
She
She and Shera have been missing
since the night of the Brahmotsavam.
Do you know why I really came here?
Why is he frozen in place instead of
telling us how the Sacred Lotus was lost?
Mr. Achyutachari, what is all this?
Why won't you say anything?
What can he say?
What is there to say?
He can neither evade responsibility,
not escape from here.
Just as he's been swallowing
the Lord's offerings every day,
he may well have stolen
the Sacred Lotus too.
Sriranga!
What are you all even saying?
It is not right to suspect a man
who has devoted his entire life
to this temple of being a thief.
Mr. Sarathi, humiliating him like this
without knowing the truth is not right.
Ma'am, it's not him
who's being humiliated.
It is the temple's legacy.
He has dishonored a heritage
preserved for generations.
Why are you silent, Mr. Varma?
Mr. Achyuta, what is all this?
Why won't you say anything?
If it is obvious that he did it,
why would we care about his opinion?
-Throw him out.
-Huh?
-Get out!
-Dear.
-What are you doing?
-[all] Get him out. Now!
-Stop it!
-[all] Get lost!
It is not for you
to decide right from wrong.
Only God can.
He says the Lord's feet are his home,
the Lord's service is his breath.
He tends to the deity in the sanctum
like a child in its mother's womb.
Why would he ever commit such a sin?
If you all truly believe he did this,
I will prove that
you are wrong to suspect him,
and wrong to shame him!
Wherever the Sacred Lotus may be
I will bring it back.
The reason I was lying there, wounded
was because of the Sacred Lotus.
-What? You saw the Sacred Lotus?
-Yeah.
Where did you see it? Where is it now?
-That
-Rudra!
-Brother. Brother.
-Rudra!
-Brother-in-law!
-Mom!
Rudra!
Why did you go to Bhairavakona? Huh?
What is this, brother?
Why would you risk your life
for my wedding?
What would happen to us
if anything happened to you?
How did you stay away from me
for so many days?
-Tell me.
-Hey, Manasa!
Are you trying to put him back to sleep?
I kept telling him, Aunt.
But would he listen to me?
He risked his life believing
Gandhara Raja's deceptive words.
If this girl hadn't arrived in time,
we would've lost our Rudra.
You didn't save just one life, dear.
You saved three.
Not three. Four.
Alright.
What do you say, brother-in-law?
-What is your name, dear?
-Parvathi.
From now on, you are one of our family.
Manasa's wedding is in two days.
You must come.
I'll give you stallions to ride
And a kingdom to rule
I'll give you stallions to ride
And a kingdom to rule
Come, O bridegroom
Ascend the sacred dais
Come, O bridegroom
Ascend the sacred dais
Come, O bridegroom
Ascend the sacred dais
Let the stars whirl and shine
Hoy! Hoy!
Let us raise festoons afar
Hoy! Hoy!
Slaughter the finest rams
Hoy! Hoy!
Cook the choicest goats
Hoy! Hoy!
The village has woven
A silken bridal saree
The goddess herself has sent
Her blessings upon you
The heavens descend
To raise these wedding canopies
Mother Earth herself
Has laid this sacred altar
Kith and kin gather
To shower blessings upon you
Let this wedding
Be celebrated grandly
Blow the sacred horn
Proclaim it aloud
Lift the bridal palanquin
Hailo Hailessa
Bring forth the feast
From river and field
Let joy whirl around
Hailo Hailessa
When he clasps my fingers
My anklets softly chime
My cheeks bloom red
Like the Moduga flower
Pearl-like grains adorn
Her radiant face
The groom shines like a gem
Draped in silken grace
The daughter raised with love
Leaves her mother behind today
When he clasps my fingers
My anklets softly chime
My cheeks bloom red
Like the Moduga flower
Your love overflows
Like an endless river
Protect us always
O noble lord
Like Ganga and Gowri
We place our faith in you
She crosses her village
To belong to another home
All our people pray
She stays blessed with you
Even if life demands sacrifice
She remains my soul
I swear upon
The blood within me
Wherever I may be
I shall guard her in my heart
I shall remain beside her
Like a shadow
Blow the sacred horn
Proclaim it aloud
Lift the bridal palanquin
Hailo Hailessa
Bring forth the feast
From river and field
Let joy whirl around
Hailo Hailessa
Raja!
Raja!
Dear!
Dear!
Raju! Raju!
-Raja
-Oh God!
Oh no!
Suvarna!
You really wanted to get married, huh?
You were meant to be in my bed.
If you insist on being with him
do you think I'll let you? Come!
You're making a mistake! Let her go!
Sister!
Hey! Let her go! I'm talking to yo--
-Hey, he's your father!
-Hey!
You watched while I was humiliated!
You watched while hands were laid on me!
You watched while my honor
was dragged through the streets!
As a father, you've done nothing for me.
Be it the man
who fathered me, or his wife
Whoever stands against me
After all this time, I finally see
my family truly is and who isn't.
I'm telling you, as your aunt.
Hack him down, Rudra!
There's the bugger you wanted.
Hey, Rudra!
I thought you'd die
that day in Bhairavakona.
But today
Even if the Goddess herself descends,
she cannot save you or your family!
Nephew!
Drag her here!
Hey! Bind him up!
-Rudra!
-Brother!
Rudra!
Rudra! He's no ordinary man!
-A demon! You saw it yourself.
-It's the truth.
He turned your village
into a sea of blood.
-No!
-Listen to me.
Tell me where the Sacred Lotus is!
Speak!
Had I known,
I'd have brought it long ago!
This won't make him speak.
Stab him! That'll do it!
-Brother-in law!
-Hey!
Rudra! Rudra!
Someone save him! Oh, God!
-Do you want me to kill them all?
-My--
-Oh, dear!
-My love--
Hey!
Mother!
How can you just stand there
like a statue after seeing all this?
Alas!
Stop!
You think you are
a great devotee like Prahlada?
Call upon your savior then!
Let me see!
Hey!
-No!
-Leave her!
Mother!
Anyway
For the Lord to descend on earth
This is not the era of Kalki
It's Kali's era!
My era!
No matter how many births I take
It is all for my own desire.
Until my wish is fulfilled
I shall keep returning.
What will make you
handover the Sacred Lotus?
No matter how many lives you take
The truth will never leave his lips, sir.
Like the sorcerer's life
hidden in a parrot
His life rests within that bird.
-I'll give you stallions to ride
-Hey!
Hey!
-Hey! Leave my sister!
-Please let Manasa go.
Your sister is your very life, is she not?
Will you speak now or shall I kill her?
Brother!
Hey!
Brother!
Brother!
Hey.
Kill him!
Hey!
Are You there or not, O Eshwara?
If You are, what divine drama?
You are a God who cannot guard or save
Is all this sin
Your share to brave?
For us
Is birth itself a chain, a curse?
O Eshwara
-For You, is the funeral fire
-Hey, wait!
Salvation's verse?
O Eternal One
Time itself
-My life.
-Like poison fell
Sister!
Time itself, like poison fell
Carving wounds so deep
Silence turned a lullaby
Asking me no reply to keep
Time itself like poison fell
Carving wounds so deep
Silence turned a lullaby
Asking me no reply to keep
What do you say?
My love--
Eshwara!
Eshwara!
Hey, Shiva!
My name isn't Shiva.
It's Rudra!
They're both the same.
When he lets go, he's Rudra.
When he embraces, he's Shiva.
That's the only difference.
What is it? Thinking too much?
Or drowning in sorrow?
When your dreams burn
before your eyes,
faith begins to slip away.
Only the one who holds on tight
can keep from falling apart.
Swami, death is what gives beauty to life.
But man fails to understand that
and keeps chasing worldly attachments.
He grants nine months for birth
but he can snatch it away in an instant.
Have you ever wondered why?
Because if death came with a warning,
man would spend his whole life
destroying himself in fear.
That's what I'm afraid of.
Swami!
Life is about moving forward
while holding onto memories
of the departed and searching
for unanswered questions!
Swami!
Even Shiva himself, smeared in sacred ash,
he didn't perish with his beloved
when he lost her to the flames, Swami.
He sought the reason behind it
and destroyed everyone responsible.
"I don't want this war! I won't fight it!"
When Arjuna tried
to walk away in detachment
didn't Lord Krishna
bring him back to Kurukshetra?
What you do for yourself is duty.
What you do for others is righteousness.
Grieving endlessly
over the dead is futile.
Because you came into this world alone,
and you'll leave it alone too.
Swami.
Do you know
what truly lasts forever in this world?
Truth shall be your mother,
wisdom your father,
righteousness is your sibling,
compassion is your friend,
peace is your wife
and forgiveness is your child.
Only these six are eternal.
Everything else is temporary.
Time will tell you why you were born.
But only you can discover
the meaning of your birth.
You'll find it.
Rudra you'll find your path.
Yeah.
Lord of Ashes, O Linga
What is this divine play of yours?
Parvathi.
Do you know why I'm actually here?
-The Sacred Lotus
-Tell me where it is.
-It is known as Sacred Lotus.
-Some guy from town named Shera.
You'll find your path.
Have you seen the Sacred Lotus?
She and Shera are missing.
Poor soul. How did he die?
He falsely accused Achyutachari,
who had done nothing wrong.
He's gone.
-I knew you would come.
-They destroyed our entire settlement.
They took away everyone
I ever called my own.
They reduced our lives to ashes.
All for that Sacred Lotus
They killed my sister
under a wedding canopy.
They turned my mother into a corpse.
They drowned the entire village
in blood, even innocent children.
Mom!
What's your connection to Shera,
the man behind this massacre?
We have nothing to do with Shera.
The reason behind all this
Their arrival that day
ruined our lives
and disgraced our lineage.
You're not asking for help to do good.
You're asking me to aid a wrongdoing.
That will never happen,
even if I lose my life.
Ravi Varma
You may set and rise again, like the sun.
But your bloodline your children
once they perish
they'll never rise again.
Anyone can bring the temple key.
But only Achyutachari
can open the temple doors.
Achyuta? Who is he?
He's the temple's chief priest.
Only he knows the secret.
Not even the fear of death
could make him speak.
-Then how do we make him talk?
-Earn his trust.
Trust cuts deeper than fear.
Make him trust you.
As part of the plan,
Parvathi entered Achyutachari's family.
She got close to them
and earned everyone's trust.
To keep themselves informed
of every event
They sent Shera to us.
Parvati, having uncovered the secret
of the lock that no one else knew,
on the final night of the festivities
But
carrying a god is
easier than
stealing one.
-Hello.-Ravi Varma.
The plane crashed near Bhairavakona.
The Sacred Lotus
remains inside the wreckage.
Tell Parvathi immediately.
It was for that Sacred Lotus
that Parvathi and Shera
came to your hamlet.
I don't know what happened
after Parvathi and Shera
reached your village.
But,
if you want to know the whole truth
you must first find Parvathi.
Go straight and turn right.
Guruji!
Parvathi, my dear!
What happened? Tell me!
-Forgive me, Guruji.
-What happened, child?
-What happened?
-I must tell you the truth.
The one who stole the Sacred Lotus
was none other than me.
You'd have heard
tales of demons in legends
and read about them in books.
But I saw one with my own eyes.
That demon is Zulfiqar Ali.
It was because of him
that I committed this terrible act.
I never did it willingly, Guruji.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me.
Mr. Prabhakar,
the Indian Archaeology Department Chief
was my father.
My sister Revathi, Tesla,
and Zulfiqar Ali
were all archaeology students together.
My sister and Tesla
fell in love with each other.
Since Tesla is a Britisher,
my father didn't approve.
So they got married
without his knowledge.
-Yeah, sure. Hi, Parvathi.
-Stop!
You married against my wishes.
Go wherever you please.
Sister!
Unable to forget what my sister did,
father stopped going to work
and shut himself away in grief.
-Some time later
-[phone rings]
What?!
Congratulations! Are you serious?
Dad! you're going to be a granddad.
The moment he learned he had
a granddaughter,
he invited them home.
Grandpa!
After that, Riya became his whole world.
Grandpa!
My father's love for Riya grew stronger,
but his anger toward
Tesla never faded.
Driven by that anger,
my father entrusted Ali with finding
the Temple of the Virata Purusha
and asked him to assist Tesla.
Tesla found the Nagabandham scripture
during that research.
Realizing Ali would come
for the Nagabandham scripture at any cost
Sir, I only trust you.
India's future is in your hands.
Please let us go, Uncle!
Daddy!
Daddy!
-Riya, my dear
-Grandpa!
-Come here.
-Grandpa.
Grandpa Mommy!
Mommy
Grandpa, he hit mommy.
-Revathi!
-Mommy.
Robert! Revathi!
Robert! Hey! Hey!
-Revathi
-Dad! Dad!
Rev-- Revathi!
-Revathi! You
-What kind of people are you?
You never showed this love
while they were alive.
Did it appear only after they died?!
Hey!
This is the book you wanted, right?
Take it and let my Grandpa go.
Please, Uncle. Let us go.
-Revathi, my child!
-Dad!
-You won't have to be angry anymore
-No.
I won't be there either.
Dear Revathi!
My baby Ba--
-Take care of her, Dad.
-Don't say that.
-Mommy! Mommy!
-Revathi.
-Revathi, my child!
-Mommy! No!
Hey, Ali!
If the Serpent seal
is like a Lotus formation,
the scripture in your hand is
an Abhimanyu!
It will only show you the way in!
Grandpa!
So you're the solution
to find my way back.
Later on,
my father found out that Sacred Lotus
is in Srirangapuram
through Nagabandham scripture.
But
my conscience wouldn't allow me
to steal the Sacred Lotus.
At that moment
Riya!
Riya!
Bringing it here isn't that easy.
And Riya?
She misses you a lot.
The longer you delay,
the greater the danger.
Dad
this isn't just wrong it's a sin.
I don't know where this will lead us.
When something becomes unavoidable,
we can't think about right and wrong.
When the intention is pure,
one who accepts
even poison as nectar is God.
He will understand.
Even asking for forgiveness
feels like a grave sin now.
We desecrated a sacred temple
for our own selfish needs.
-And I framed you for it.
-You should be killed.
-Rudra?
-You drove him away from the temple.
You took away everyone I had.
Rudra!
I had nothing to do
with that massacre, Rudra.
I came to your village
only for the Sacred Lotus.
And I met you.
That day, no one who went
after the Sacred Lotus returned.
But I found you
lying injured on the shore.
I searched you,
thinking you might have it.
But it wasn't there.
You were the only one
who knew anything about it.
That's why I saved you.
I tried many times to ask you about it
after you regained consciousness.
But before that could happen
the tragedy unfolded.
Why have you come now?
We brought
you the Sacred Lotus you wanted.
Where is our Riya?
Return my granddaughter to me.
It's not over yet, Prabhakar.
There's one small task left.
What else is left now except destruction?
The very land I once walked with pride,
the culture I spoke of with honor,
you made me betray that very soil.
Hey!
You burned down the village,
and slaughtered innocent people.
Using a little girl's life as leverage,
you turned a patriot into a traitor.
What more is left now?
Tell me! What else is left?!
-What else?!
-Ali
Please let us go.
We can't endure this anymore.
Kill both of us if you want!
But please spare Riya.
Ever since we obeyed you,
every moment of our lives
has felt like breathing poison.
After witnessing so much betrayal
and so many deaths
What is even left for us to live for?
We can't take this anymore.
Show us some mercy.
There's only one thing
this Abdali doesn't know.
Mercy.
I need one final thing from you.
Please understand.
He wants the Garuda mantras!
We'll stay alive
only if we hand them over to Ali.
Only you can save us, Guruji.
Salutations to Shiva and Vishnu
each the reflection of the other.
Our ancestors used to say
that along with the Sacred Lotus,
these palm-leaf scriptures,
were also entrusted to us by sages.
I believe you alone
will restore the Sacred Lotus,
to Lord Ranganatha's navel, son.
Here.
May victory be yours.
Bhairagi!
Leave me!
Grandpa!
Riya!
-My dear Riya!
-Grandpa!
-Riya!
-Grandpa!
Riya!
Dear Riya!
The Serpent seal is being unlocked!
A dream I cherished for years
is finally becoming reality today.
Abdali!
The time to rule the universe
is drawing near.
The eclipse full moon is approaching.
The Serpent seal will be unlocked!
Now all that's left,
is to get my hands on the Garuda mantras.
Soon they'll be in your hands, Bhairagi.
Once the Garuda mantras arrive,
you reciting them will open
the Serpent sealed gate,
and we'll step inside
everything will happen
as planned, Bhairagi.
Fool!
To protect righteousness, in every age,
in whatever form he must take,
however many times he must be reborn,
the Lord will always return.
And he will stop demons like you
from entering that divine gateway.
Kali controls the Time now, Prabhakar.
No one can stop our mission anymore.
No one is coming.
Grandpa!
Grandpa!
Aunt!
Grandpa!
Riya!
Dad! Dad!
Grandpa, please!
Dad
Hey!
Shiva!
Please, come.
-Greetings.
-Greetings, Swami.
What do you have
in your hands, little one?
A Tulasi garland for the Lord.
May you live long!
Everyone get inside the gate!
Quick! Get inside!
Lord Ranganatha!
Move. Quickly!
Quickly!
Close the doors!
-Everyone, get inside!
-Mom! Mom!
Govinda!
Lord Ranganatha!
Please protect us.
Govinda!
Sir!
-Mom.
-They're kids, sir. I beg you.
Don't do this!
-I beg you. Spare them, sir.
-Mom.
Sir!
-Please, sir. Let her go.
-Please leave. Please leave!
Please leave us.
Protect this Sacred Lotus.
It will protect you.
-Okay
-Go, child. Go!
Okay, Guruji.
Hurry.
Be careful.
Please protect us.
Narayana!
Oh Lord!
Please protect us, Lord!
[in Hindi] I found it!
Well done, Bhairagi!
Well done!
Every word you said has come true.
Now I shall rule the world
with this treasure.
With the corpses of these Hindus,
I will spread fear.
I will plant our flag
on this nation's soil.
Tell me, Bhairagi, tell me!
What do you desire?
What are you searching for, Bhairagi?
The Sacred Lotus.
What's that?
This treasure can only rule the earth.
But the Sacred Lotus
that rested upon the Lord's navel
rules the entire universe!
-I want that Sacred Lotus!
-You will never obtain it, Bhairagi.
Hey!
You'll never get it.
You'll never get it!
Hey, Priest
tell me where the Sacred Lotus is.
Ranganatha, death arrives
even when uninvited.
Do not summon it by force.
You fool!
-You cannot decide life and death.
-Hey!
Only the Supreme One can.
Without His command
nothing can occur
upon this earth He created!
Hey, Priest!
Where is your God?
Him?
Does this lifeless stone
really possess such power?
To you, it may seem like a mere stone.
But it is no stone. It's not!
It is the source of our very breath.
In the wind that blows everywhere
in the waters that flow
in every single atom
the Supreme dwells everywhere.
Is that so? In this stone?
When arrogance consumes your mind,
death devours you.
Your very nature
turns poisonous.
That is when man
starts believing he is God.
God!
God is the Creator.
For upholding dharma
when demons like you obstruct the path
When evil crosses all limits
to protect righteousness
God incarnates Himself
to destroy vile demons like you.
God will descend
for your destruction as well.
For every head you've severed,
for every temple you've destroyed
He will settle the score.
He will end your reign.
After slaughtering everyone here,
and forcing us to bow down,
that arrogant head of yours
is swollen with pride, isn't it?
He will sever it
and cast it
into the sacred fire of Sanatana Dharma.
You will turn to ash. Ash!
Shiva!
It's the Sacred Lotus!
[Sanskrit mantras]
Timeless Bhairava
Blue-throated Lord of darkness
Om
Three-eyed one with matted locks
Destroyer of time across all ages
Om
With the thunderous beat of Damaru
His roaring rhythm shakes the heavens
He performs the fierce Tandava
May Lord Shiva bless us with peace
Destroyer of desire
Destroyer of cities
Destroyer of worldly bonds
Destroyer of sacrifice
Slayer of Gajasura
Destroyer of Andhaka
I bow to the One
Who destroys all darkness

Our endless reverence
To the Sky-Clad Lord
Sacred
Lotus
Stop!
Our dharma is eternal.
Our deity is eternal.
Our lives are an offering to Lord Shiva.
Our courage lies
in protecting Hindu dharma.
Lord Shankara of Kailasa himself
descended as Kaladi Shankara
The shield of protection
he bestowed upon this Vedic land
is the Naga Sadhu way of life.
We have attained the supreme state
by inhaling within our breath,
the primal Rudra energies
that govern the cosmos itself.
This land is the abode of saffron.
A sanctuary of dharma.
Whenever Hindu society loses its way
and devotion weakens,
ours is the lineage of Adi Shankaracharya,
born from the union
of spiritual power and penance.
Hindutva is not a religion.
It is benevolence.
The destruction of the heretical forces
that seek to harm it
is our sole purpose!
Endless madness is raging with arrogance.
It marched to spill blood
across this saffron land.
With the command of Adi Shankaracharya
and the blessings of Adiyogi,
lets rip open the hearts
of those desert men!
If they so much as dream
of setting foot in these Himalayas,
we'll show them
not even their bones will be found!
Let's show them what happens
when this Vedic land
becomes a battlefield!
Let's prove that
heads are bound to roll
when Shiva's army marches!
Let us unleash the valor
of Sanatana Dharma in our blood
and dye the Himalayan snow
red with theirs!
For the protection of dharma,
let us all become Rudras of Time!
[in Sanskrit] This is the Eternal Dharma!
This is the Eternal Dharma!
Hara Hara Mahadev!
[all] Hara Hara Mahadev!
[all] Hara Hara Mahadev!
Is this the Sacred Lotus, Bhairagi?
Yes, this is it.
Yes, this is the one.
Wow!
Does this Sacred Lotus
truly possess the power
to rule the universe, Bhairagi?
Yes!
I can't believe it.
The universe doesn't run
on your belief, Abdali.
This Sacred Lotus is the key
to the great divine gateway,
created by Brahma.
By invoking Adisesha's serpent lineages,
the eight-direction mantra Serpent seal
is now released.
The Serpent seal?
[in Hindi] What is that?
To the north of the Himalayan peaks,
at the foothills of Mount Kailash,
there's the hidden temple
of that Virata Purusha.
Right there
is the divine gateway
which was sealed by the Serpent seal.
After the Dwapara Yuga ended,
to prevent humans
from entering that gateway,
while the enlightened sages
performed a grand ritual
using their mystical powers
during the 200th full moon,
the Sacred Lotus
emerged from the sacred fire.
They sealed
the divine gateway with that ritual.
Fearing that evil forces in the Kali Yuga
might seize the Sacred Lotus
and open the gateway,
they invoked the most powerful serpents
and sealed it using the Serpent seal.
They inscribed the Garuda mantras,
used to unseal the Serpent seal,
in tantric script
upon palm-leaf manuscripts,
and placed the Sacred Lotus
Install this Sacred Lotus
in the Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple.
They installed it in the foremost
among the 108 Vaishnava temples,
the Ranganatha Temple of Srirangapuram
To unseal the Serpent seal,
we must install the Sacred Lotus
upon the golden pedestal,
and chant the Garuda mantras
before the 200th full moon.
Only then can
the divine gateway be opened.
Otherwise
Anyway what lies
beyond that gateway, Bhairagi?
[in Hindi] There are many here!
[Sanskrit mantra chanting]
What is happening, Bhairagi?
Prepare the army at once, Abdali.
We must leave this place immediately.
Take the Sacred Lotus.
Hara!
Hara! Hara!
Hara! Hara!
The Naga Sadhus
Veera Naga
The secret army of Rudra
Vaira Naga
The doom that unleashes hell
Swaira Naga
The destiny of a thousand births
Fierce Naga! Divine Naga!
Veera Naga
The secret army of Rudra
Vaira Naga
The doom that unleashes hell
Hara Hara Mahadev!
Shiva!
Shiva!
Shiva!
Bhairagi!
Until you undo this serpent's seal,
no one can stop you.
Go!
Hey!
If you are the guardian
of this Serpent seal,
then I am the demon
who rules this earth!
I heard no one could get past
the Naga Sadhus and enter inside.
Well, he did.
[Sanskrit shloka]
[Sanskrit chanting continues]
You roam around
with ash smeared on your body.
You're worthless.
And what is your invisible God worth?
Are you mighty enough
to rule the five elements?
Though you destroyed our temples,
you cannot destroy our dharma.
We worship the Sun.
Can you stop it?
We worship the Earth.
Can you uproot it?
We worship the rivers.
Can you drain them?
We worship the forests.
Can you cut them all down?
The air we breathe is God.
The fire that burns is God.
God is the source
of this universe's salvation
and its annihilation.
Ultimately,
If you take our lives, the God who
gave us life will end His own.
Then call him here!
[in Sanskrit] Before the sacred idol
of Mahagaruda, all venom is subdued.
Destroyer and remover of poison,
let it be destroyed.
The poison has perished.
All of it has vanished.
The poison is destroyed,
the venom is slain.
By the sacred invocation,
the poison is vanquished.
May it be struck down
by Indras thunderbolt!
[in Sanskrit] Before the sacred idol
of Mahagaruda, all poison is subdued.
Hara Hara Mahadev!
[in Sanskrit] Move forth, move forth.
Doer of all deeds,
embodiment of every poison
Corrupter of poison, nourisher of poison.
[in Sanskrit] Sever the serpent bonds.
Release us from the serpents snare.
Sever the serpent--
Bhairagi!
Riya!
Riya! Riya!
[Sanskrit chanting]
Revered in all three worlds.
The fierce and dreadful One,
blazing like the fire of doom.
To the Lord of adamantine claws!
The One with the mighty beak!
Riya! Are you okay?
Riya!
[in Sanskrit] Sever the serpent bonds.
Release us from the serpents snare.
Abdali! Abdali
God is watching everything.
He will definitely punish you.
You can't even look directly at the sun.
How dare you speak ill of the God
whose vision is as wide spread?
You can't even touch fire.
How dare you seek to destroy
the God whose eyes are fire?
You are but a scavenging dog
searching for scraps in the desert.
And you dare challenge the Lord
who sustains the infinite universe?
Hey! We are Hindus.
Righteousness is our way of life.
Compassion is our nature.
We shelter anyone who seeks refuge.
We help anyone who asks for aid.
But if you mistake that kindness
for weakness and raise your sword
we will turn your heads into skulls
and wear them around our necks.
This alone is eternal!
Hara Hara Mahadev!
Hara Hara Mahadev!
So what lies behind that door, Aunt?
To know that, we must know what transpired
between the end of the Dwapara Yuga
and the dawn of the Kali Yuga.
