once an abandoned house,
now a elaborate,
gorgeous, gothic mansion,
I was the only one who did
Halloween in the whole area
for the kids.
I did a classic Halloween with
witches and devils and ghosts,
fog machines and lightning.
It was great. It was grand.
And Im sitting with my eyes
closed going to pick this card
I like to do
it with my eyes closed, so I
have this tactile feel.

A hooded figure approaches,
two gasoline cans in hand.

he hurls the gasoline onto

the house erupts in flames.

to smolder.
Confused friends
pick through the wreckage,
trying to salvage what
is left of the colorful
character who called this
place home.
While most local residents

some dont know the houses
other sinister connection
to the Church of Satan.
And that has people talking.

the lookout for the arsonist.

on who was on the porch
