on a crime in Terrace Beach.
Police are searching for a killer tonight
after a woman was found
murdered in her hotel room
earlier this week.
We're hearing exclusively
from friends of the victim.

are at once devastated
and shocked, trying to
wrap their brain around it.
One thing they found
especially difficult, they say,
is the lack of information
coming from law enforcement
officials piecing together
the events leading up
to the moment their
friend was found lifeless
at the Carter Hotel here in Terrace Beach.

of the victim, how she died,
or who might be responsible.

murdered just days
before her body was found
dead in her hotel room while on
vacation, making her the
eighth victim of this ongoing case
since the beginning of this year.
Kelly was just 32 years old
and leaves behind her students
as a beloved professor
at the Bedford School.
The killer remains at large.
Over 50 reservations and
growing have been canceled.
Jeopardizing the economy of Victor County,
as the Gideon Hotel is sourced
as being its largest employer
and known to host local
and regional businesses
and trade shows.
While doing the morning rounds
after checkout, a
housekeeper found the victim.

- During this murder
investigation, police actually came
to this hotel here in Los
Angeles for a welfare check
after a woman was last
seen over the weekend.
When they arrived, police
found her dead inside.
They're trying to figure out why this
happened and who's behind it.
Around 10:30 Wednesday morning, the body
of a woman murdered here
in LA was being taken away
by the medical examiner's office.
Since Tuesday afternoon,
witnesses described what's been happening
in front of the hotel.
One guest says he was shocked to find out
that the police are investigating
a homicide, because pilots
and flight attendants are
normally sent to stay here.
LA police tell us Tuesday,
just before 7:00 PM,
they got a call from a woman
requesting a welfare check
for her coworker who was last seen Friday.
And when the police officers arrived,
they found the woman
dead inside her hotel room.

Police are searching for a killer tonight
after a woman was found
murdered in her hotel room
earlier this week.
We're hearing exclusively
from friends of the victim.

are at once devastated
and shocked, trying to
wrap their brain around it.
One thing they found
especially difficult, they say,
is the lack of information
coming from law enforcement
officials piecing together
the events leading up
to the moment their
friend was found lifeless
at the Carter Hotel here in Terrace Beach.

before her body was found

eighth victim of this ongoing case

Kelly was just 32 years old
and leaves behind her students
as a beloved professor
at the Bedford School.
The killer remains at large.
Over 50 reservations and

Jeopardizing the economy of Victor County,

and known to host local
and regional businesses

housekeeper found the victim.

Angeles for a welfare check
after a woman was last
seen over the weekend.
When they arrived, police
found her dead inside.
They're trying to figure out why this
happened and who's behind it.
Around 10:30 Wednesday morning, the body
of a woman murdered here
in LA was being taken away
by the medical examiner's office.
Since Tuesday afternoon,
witnesses described what's been happening
in front of the hotel.
One guest says he was shocked to find out
that the police are investigating
a homicide, because pilots
and flight attendants are
normally sent to stay here.
LA police tell us Tuesday,
just before 7:00 PM,
they got a call from a woman
requesting a welfare check
for her coworker who was last seen Friday.
And when the police officers arrived,
they found the woman
dead inside her hotel room.
