(piercing music)

(metal clanking)
(static whirring)
Good evening.
You've come to the right place.
Welcome to "Midnight Madness."
I'm your host, Brandon Lang.
And this is Mistress Mandy
to help guide us on this journey.
Tonight's tale is one for the
fans of "Summer Camp Horror"
and tells the story of
an abandoned summer camp
where the kiddies disappeared
under strange circumstances,
or at least,
that's how the story goes.
(tense music)
It all starts with a young couple
who find themselves at Camp Wildwood,
where Alex tells the story
behind the mysterious disappearances
and the old couple who owned
the camp so many years ago.
Stop!
You're just trying to scare me.
Maybe.
Maybe not.
Yeah, right. Well, I'm not scared.
Some say there was witchcraft involved.
(suspenseful music)
And that all the daughters of
the old couple were witches.
[Brandon] As the legend goes,
the kids are still hiding in the woods.
Ah.
(piercing music)
[Brandon] Searching for a way back.
Ah!
[Brandon] Back to
the land of the living.
Alex, this isn't funny!
I'm scared. Okay?
Alex. (Gasps)
(Alex exclaims)
Oh God. (Sobbing)
(door shuts)
(footsteps thudding)
(eerie music)
(Melissa panting)
(eerie music continues)
(door creaks)
(eerie music continues)
(Melissa screams)
(Evan panting)
(Melissa screaming)
(Evan panting)
(Evan groans)
(spooky organ music)
(spooky organ music continues)
(spooky organ music continues)
(spooky organ music continues)
(spooky organ music continues)
(spooky organ music continues)
(spooky organ music continues)
(spooky organ music fades)
[Evan] Hey, did that bus
driver seem strange to you?
Oh, yeah, like the part when he said
we shouldn't come to this place?
[Evan] Yeah. What'd he call it again?
The evil campground.
- Yeah. (Laughing)
I mean that sounds like
something you'd hear
in a horror movie or something, yeah.
Yeah, hey, but don't listen
to the old man, you know?
He's crazy.
- Yeah.
This weekend, it's gonna
be wicked. (Laughing)
- Hey!
- Oh, hey.
Kyle wasn't kidding when he said
the bus was the only way to get here.
Yeah, this place is pretty far out, huh?
Didn't think we'd ever make it.
Look, I know that you and
Carrie are together now,
but I hope we can still be friends.
- Yeah. Yeah. Me too.
- Good.
- What was that all about?
- Oh, nothing.
Evan, did she have to come?
She's Kyle's cousin. All right?
And he got us a job.
Besides, I thought you
said you were fine with it.
Yeah, but you know, us girls,
we always say things we don't mean.
(curious music)
(curious music continues)
- Hey, it's about time!
- Kyle.
Man, what's up?
I gotta say, I wasn't
too sure about this place
on the drive up, but
it's kind of bitching!
Right?
Right, some fresh air?
- Yeah.
Hey, did you guys ride in on that bus?
Oh yeah, about that.
How are we supposed to
get a ride back into town?
- Oh, Shane's got a truck.
- Oh.
- Hey, little cousin.
- What's up?
Thanks for getting us these jobs.
Mm-hmm.
[Evan] Yeah, how'd you
get us this job, anyway?
It was on one of those
job boards on campus.
Say you need some extra money, right?
Yeah.
Hey, just let me know
when the partying starts.
I'm ready to go. (Laughing)
Yeah, I'm gonna need a
shower and a nap first.
Can someone show me to my room?
Oh, us girls are bunking together.
Oh!
Hey, I like what I'm
seeing here. (Laughing)
Okay, cool down, Lover Boy.
We'll get settled and meet up later.
Okay.
So uh, what is this job anyway?
Basically we're just cleaning
up the campsite, you know,
we're essentially we're
getting paid to party.
You're talking about
the evil campsite site.
- Shut up, dude.
- What?
It's nothing. Just some
guy trying to scare us.
I mean, yeah, but like,
what are we gonna do?
Run away?
(people laughing)
Yeah.
What? What's wrong?
Did he say something about the camp?
Yeah.
Yeah, but it's just
bullshit, though, right?
- Yeah.
- It's just bullshit.
Yeah. (Laughing)
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Yeah, yeah.
- All right.
Well let's get going.
- Yeah.
- Yeah, sure, sure.
(creepy mysterious music)
(creepy mysterious music continues)
(spirits whispering)
(eerie music)
(spirits continues whispering)
(eerie music continues)
Hey Carrie, let's go!
(eerie music continues)
(faint curious music)
(footsteps clicking)
Yo, Dana and Shane are gonna
come meet up with us, okay?
Can we skip that shit, Kyle?
Dude, no.
Look, Dana and Shane
are giving us the place,
one, to party, but two, to
make some extra cash, okay?
You guys should be grateful.
Whatever, man.
I hate work.
It's gonna be a breeze, dude.
Okay, listen, all we have
to do is clean up some camp
and then we can party
for the rest of the time.
Alright, look, I'm
just trying to get drunk.
Trying to get high, trying to get laid.
Ain't nothing gonna
stop me with that, man.
(Evan groans)
All right.
Hey, you coming?
I'll catch up with you guys.
(Evan sighs)
(door creaks)
- I'm telling you. I saw her.
- I didn't see anyone.
Saw what?
Carrie saw a girl in the woods.
Well, yeah, they're haunted.
See, a logical explanation?
The woods are haunted.
I'm not kidding. I know what I saw.
You guys don't believe me, do you?
No, we don't but don't worry,
'cause if the woods are haunted,
we will find out soon enough
at the bonfire tonight.
I wonder what the guys
are doing right now.
Probably talking about us.
Probably that and how
they wanna get drunk
and laid tonight.
(people laughing)
So predictable.
Evan tried hitting on me earlier.
Boys will be boys.
- What was that?
[Sara] Oh, nothing.
Wait, Carrie, I thought
you and Evan were together.
- Maybe.
- Well, which is it?
Okay, so Sara, you
and Tony are together?
Yeah, well, he's cute.
- How convenient.
- What did you say?
Okay, let's not, 'cause
they're not worth it, right?
Well, what about you and Kyle?
Oh yeah, no, no.
He tried that already and I shot him down.
So what you're saying is
if you get drunk enough,
he might have a chance?
Oh, are you talking about yourself?
- Whatever.
- Okay, guys.
Let's not fight.
We're already in for a
long enough week as it is.
(tense eerie music)
(footsteps clicking)
(faint suspenseful music)
(suspenseful music)
(VHS clanking)
(Evan sighs)
(people whispering indistinctly)
(suspenseful music)
(people continue whispering indistinctly)
(suspenseful music)
(Evan panting)
Oh, no. No, hey, uh.
Shit.
(static whirring)
(suspenseful music)
Come on.
(hands bang)
(static whirring)
(suspenseful music continues)
(footsteps clicking)
Hey, I was looking for you.
- Oh.
- You watching a movie?
No.
No, I just thought I saw
something weird on this tape.
[Sara] Like what?
You wouldn't believe me if I told you.
Try me.
All right, well, I thought I saw Allison
and it looked like she was in trouble.
Wait, you saw Allison on this?
Like I said, it's kinda hard to explain.
Hey.
I believe you.
Evan, they're calling us to...
Uh.
Go meet the owners.
Right, I'm coming.
(suspenseful music)
This does look like a
hardy group right here.
Anyway, my name is Shane
and this is my wife
and partner in crime, Dana.
And you guys watch out
because she does bite.
I bet she does.
Don't let 'em fool you.
I'm a pussy cat once you get to know me.
Okay. Anyway, anyway, anyway.
We do appreciate you guys coming
and we did wanna let you know
that it does get cold here.
So make sure you dress warm,
especially at night, okay?
And tomorrow we start
fresh and the cleanup begins
so be ready to work.
Oh and we want you to be comfortable.
So if there's anything you need,
don't hesitate to ask us, okay?
We are going to be at
the campsite tonight,
so the cabin's gonna be yours.
So we were actually thinking
of having some sort of welcome party,
if that's something you
guys would be cool with?
Yeah, that sounds fine.
But you just make sure
you invite us, okay?
Yeah, of course. (Laughing)
So if anybody has any
questions or anything?
Uh, yeah.
Hey, Shane?
- Yeah.
What have you heard about the campsite?
(sighs) You've been talking
to the locals, haven't you?
Yeah, they seem pretty spooked.
Alright, well, you know,
it's just a little local legend,
but I wouldn't worry about it
'cause all they do is they just
try to scare the strangers.
So it's all good. Don't sweat it.
So (laughing) you like to party?
Yeah, I've been to a partier too.
I'll bet you have. I'll bet you have.
So you guys really wanna do this?
I mean, you wanna open up
this camp for the summer?
Yeah, I used to live
here a long time ago,
and this place really means a lot to me.
Oh, I bet it does.
Hey, honey, anyway...
You guys are on your own for tonight,
but tomorrow we need to
focus on the camp, okay?
Oop, don't forget about the party.
Yeah, but if you do need
any supplies for the party,
we have lights and just
other stuff at the barn
right down the street there.
Oh, sweet. How far up is it?
It's not too far. You can't miss it.
- Let's go.
- Let's go, honey.
Okay.
So what do you think?
I think they're perfect.
(Shane and Dana laughing)
- You coming?
- Oh, um.
Nah, I think I'm just
gonna hang back here.
You guys have fun though.
I saw the way you were looking at Dana.
(laughing) What?
Nah. I...
I know you're trying to make me jealous.
Well, is it working?
So what did you wanna tell me about?
- It's Dana and Shane.
- What about them?
(eerie music)
I don't know, but I think
they're into something.
Like what?
I don't know for sure,
but something feels off.
So what are you trying to tell me?
I'm trying to tell you to be careful.
I know I'm probably being
really over anxious,
but you never know.
(eerie music)
Well, that's great!
(leaves rustling)
What was that?
I don't know.
Probably a raccoon or something.
(eerie music)
I think someone's following us.
(eerie music)
Oh, I'll check in here.
I think I need a minute.
(metal clanks)
(footsteps lightly tap)
(plastic rustling)
(suspenseful music)
Sweet.
(suspenseful music)
(air whirring)
(suspenseful music continues)
Hey, I'm gonna go check on Carrie.
Yeah, I'll be right there.
Are you okay?
(suspenseful music)
What happened to you?
Why did they do this to me?
No, please! Who are you?
- Try and remember!
- No!
(eerie music)
(eerie music continues)
(lock lightly clatters)
(eerie music continues)
Carrie?
Hey, hey! What happened?
Evan, I saw her again.
- Saw who?
- The girl!
Hey guys, I found something in the shed.
You gotta see this.
My mother had a book just like this.
So what?
Remember when I told
you she was a witch?
Yeah, but you were joking, right?
No, she really was.
(eerie music)
Okay. So what's in this book?
It's like a bunch of spells.
Hey, what if Dana and
Shane are into this shit?
I mean, Dana could be into witchcraft.
(eerie music)
We should go before they catch us.
- You okay?
- Yeah.
I think this place is just
freaking me out a little bit.
I'll be all right.
(eerie music)
(lock lightly clatters)
(eerie music continues)
- Do you wanna join us?
- No, thanks.
Suit yourself.
Are you still reading that book?
Yeah, the Book of the Dead?
I said it has some spells
on raising the dead in it.
It sounds kind of dangerous.
I really don't know if you
should be messing with that.
I know what I'm doing.
You would say that.
You got a problem?
Can we just not fight?
Let's have a good night. Okay?
Don't worry, I won't steal Evan
if that's what this is about.
He's all yours.
- What about Evan?
- Nothing. Just girl talk.
Right.
Well, we came to escort
you ladies to the bonfire.
Yeah?
Let's go.
(Evan laughs)
- You guys went all out.
Hey, it is bonfire, right?
And I brought the party favors. (Laughing)
Woe!
That's what I'm talking
about, man. (Laughing)
(Carrie laughs)
(crickets chirping)
(branches crackling)
What is it?
It's just this place.
It brings back so many memories.
But the old ones hurt the most.
Memories of your father?
Yeah. And my sisters.
They could have been powerful
witches just like my mom.
Well, that's why I killed her
'cause she was a witch, right?
She was gonna be more
powerful than me and my mom.
And the girl that you brought here?
That's my younger sister.
She was taken away when she was a baby.
She doesn't even know who she is
or how powerful she could be.
And that's why I need her.
I need her to draw Jenny out.
And that's why I need you
'cause she's being protected by someone.
He's dangerous and he's
crazy and unstoppable.
I dunno if I can do this.
Are you nervous?
I'm not afraid to die.
Good.
Because once you cross over,
there's no coming back.
(dramatic music)
Okay.
Right.
(dramatic music)
(crickets chirping)
Okay. So who wants to start?
Start?
Start with what?
- Scary stories.
- Ah.
We have to tell scary stories
around the campfire, right?
I mean, it is a tradition.
(laughing) Anybody got one?
What do you guys
think of Dana and Shane?
I don't know.
Ask my man, Kyle.
You did bring us here, right?
Why don't you tell
them what you told me?
Or did you just make that all up?
No.
I just think they're weird. You know?
Like, they're into some freaky shit.
Mm. Yeah, Kyle,
did you see something or what?
I didn't see anything.
I just got that feeling, you know?
Man, you are paranoid, man. (Laughing)
I have a story.
- Is it real or made up?
- You tell me.
Come on, tell us.
I saw something when
we got here in the woods
and there was a girl.
- Okay, not this again.
- I know what I saw.
I saw her again today at the supply cabin.
But it was really weird.
It was like,
she was-
Like, she was dead?
I know how it sounds,
but that's what made it so weird.
(tense music)
And then she reached out
and she grabbed me.
Look, I know you think
that, but that's not
I saw something, too.
Oh, come on, Evan. Not you too?
It was on a tape.
What kind of tape?
A VHS tape.
But this wasn't a movie.
What was it?
It was you,
Allison, and you were alone
in the woods at night.
(tense music)
Come on, man. (Laughing)
You're just trying to scare me.
No, guys, this actually happened.
What happened?
I don't know.
I mean, she was fine at first,
but then outta nowhere,
there was just blood like everywhere.
(tense music)
Evan, you're gonna have
to try harder than that.
Guys, I'm telling you
this actually happened!
But you know what the weirdest part was?
I go to rewind the tape
and it's gone.
Fuck.
Evan, you and your metaphysical shit, man.
You know what, Tony?
It's not my fault, I'm deeper than you.
- It was a glimpse.
- A what?
A glimpse.
Some people say that you can see glimpses
of the future on recorded devices.
Like a VHS tape.
Is this from your book?
Sara took the book that
we found on the shed?
Okay, you should put that back.
(wood rustling)
What the hell was that?
It was the VHS tapes
and they're coming to eat us.
- Asshole, you did that?
- Yeah. (Laughing)
Yeah. It was. (Laughing)
(Tony sighs)
Where you going?
Come with me if you want
to get high. (Laughing)
You're strange, but lucky
for you I like strange.
(crickets chirping)
Well,
I guess it's just you and me.
(crickets chirping)
- So, where are we going?
- I think, you know.
Okay, okay. Slow down.
- I'm gonna go take a piss.
- Now?
When it's time to go, it's time to go!
Okay. Well, don't take long.
(crickets chirping)
Do you believe what Sara said?
- What do you think?
- I think she made it up.
Well, I know what I saw.
You know, when I was a kid,
I used to be able to see things.
See things?
What do you mean?
Like, okay, for instance,
I had this dream one time
that a friend of mine fell from a tree,
and then the next day
it actually happened.
But I saw other things, too.
Like what?
Evan, you know, you can talk to me, right?
I saw my father...
I saw him die.
You know, I was too scared
at the time to like,
say anything to anybody.
But I don't know, like, looking back,
I feel like I could have done
something about it, you know?
Evan, no.
I'm so sorry.
(crickets chirping)
(suspenseful music)
Is someone there?
(suspenseful music continues)
(Allison screaming)
(suspenseful music continues)
(footsteps pattering)
(mysterious music)
I don't really know
a lot about my family.
Oh yeah, you're adopted, right?
Yeah.
My mom died when I was five.
I don't remember much.
(gentle music)
I know I have sisters,
but I don't know where they are.
I don't really wanna think
about that right now.
(gentle music continues)
(Allison screaming)
What was that?
(tense music)
I think it came from this way.
(tense music continues)
(leaves rustling)
Allison?
Allison!
(eerie music)
Allison?
(eerie music continues)
Allison! Allison!
Oh, thank God, you're awake!
Guys, I think I saw someone out there.
Allison?
(Shane exhaling)
(mysterious music)
(Shane sighs)
(mysterious music continues)
Are you sure this is the way?
Yes.
Remember what I told you?
(mysterious music continues)
Say the words.
(speaking in foreign language) In death,
there is life.
Trust me.
You're not gonna die.
You'll be free!
(blood squelches)
(Shane groans)
(eerie music)
(blood dripping)
(eerie music continues)
(eerie music continues)
(ominous music)
I'm telling you guys, I saw him.
Oh, come on, dude!
Maybe it wasn't a person.
You know, it could have been an animal.
Yes, I'm sure it was a person.
He was big.
Maybe it was a hunter, right?
And he got lost in the woods.
Dude, his eyes, they
were so, they were so cold.
Like it wasn't human.
- Man, you are drunk.
- Okay.
Allison, you should lay down.
You could have a concussion.
- No, I saw him too.
- See?
See, I knew I saw something.
I mean, it was dark and I was scared.
But I don't remember anything else.
Alison, just stop being
such a girl about it!
Tony, cut it out!
I think I'm gonna go home.
This place, we don't belong here.
Guys, look. Hold on a sec, all right.
It's been a long day.
Why don't we all just get some rest?
Yeah. Man, I'm beat.
(crickets chirping)
What do you think?
I think they saw something.
And what about us?
I mean, we're all seeing strange things.
I don't know.
Maybe it's this place.
So uh, you gonna be okay tonight?
'Cause if you want, I can always come by
and keep you company if
you get cold or scared.
Good night, Evan.
Hey!
Don't blame yourself for
what happened to your father.
Thanks.
- Good night.
- Good night.
(gentle music)
(crickets chirping)
(gentle music fades)
(bed sheets shifting)
Guys?
Are you awake?
(bed sheets shifting)
Carrie? I can't sleep.
(Allison sighs)
(footsteps pattering)
(door clicks)
(door creaks)
(door shuts)
(suspenseful music)
(footsteps clicking)
(door whirring)
(suspenseful music)
(crickets chirping)
(country music)
(tense music)
(country music continues)
(tense music)
(tense music continues)
(suspenseful music)
(door creaking)
(suspenseful music)
Who are you?
You don't belong here.
Wait, what?
My sister will kill
you and your friends.
Just go! Go away!
(suspenseful music)
Hey. Hey, wait.
Where are you going?
(suspenseful music)
(leaves rustling)
Who's there?
- You lost, little girl?
- Shit, Shane, you scared me.
(laughing) Aren't you
a pretty little thing?
What happened to you?
(suspenseful music)
Stop or I will scream.
Go ahead! I'll kill them all!
(Shane groans)
(knife thuds)
(knife squelches)
(suspenseful music)
(body thuds)
(suspenseful music continues)
(worrisome music)
(worrisome music fades)
(bed sheets shifting)
- Sara? Sara, wake up.
- What?
Allison's gone.
I'm sure she just
went on for a walk or...
She's fine.
(curious music)
(leaves shifting)
- You okay?
- I don't trust Dana.
Allison did leave, didn't she?
I don't believe that Shane
took Allison into town.
I mean, why wouldn't she wake us up?
I don't know.
Maybe she thought you'd
talk her out of it.
I don't like this.
I think something happened to her.
We'll be at the campsite soon.
You can look there.
- Promise?
- Promise.
Okay, so I'm gonna break
you off into boy girl pairs
and we're gonna take a look around
and if anything seems
damaged or needs repairs,
just let me know.
Where's Shane?
He took your friend to
Allison to the bus station,
but he'll be back.
Did Allison tell you
why she was leaving?
No, she just said she wanted to go home.
She didn't call her parents?
No, but there's a phone in town,
so I'm sure she'll call
when she gets there.
So anyways, I'm gonna
have Carrie and Kyle,
why don't you guys go to the cabins
and check them for safety.
Evan and Sara, you guys go to the dock
and check around the lake.
And what about me?
You can come with me.
So good luck, everybody.
And we're gonna meet
here around lunchtime.
- You ready?
- Oh yeah.
(Tony laughing)
(pensive music)
(tense music)
(Tony and Dana faintly chattering)
(tense reflective music)
(Tony and Dana faintly chattering)
Remember that time
you took me to the lake?
I do.
We had fun sometimes.
I guess so,
but if I remember correctly,
you didn't really like that day too much.
Well, yeah, there were bugs.
Right, the bugs, of course.
Yeah. You complained a lot.
I guess I should have been happy
you took me someplace nice.
You like Carrie, don't you?
What?
Just making conversation.
What about you and Tony?
Oh, we're not together.
(curious music)
What are you doing?
(curious music continues)
(Sara chuckles)
Don't you wanna kiss me?
- I uh.
- It's okay, Evan, trust me.
Wait, no, Sara, look.
We can't, okay.
I know you and Carrie
hate each other, but its.
I don't hate Carrie.
We used to be friends. Remember?
Look, I remember what we had together,
and I know I messed that up.
(tense music)
- How was it?
- Oh, shit.
How could you?
- Carrie? Wait.
Evan, come on. She's a big girl.
Carrie, wait!
Hey, just listen for one sec, okay?
Why Evan? Why her?
Nothing happened, all right. I promise.
Nevermind.
You don't owe me an explanation.
I mean, it's not like we're
dating or anything, right?
Well, I...
I don't know how to answer that. Okay?
It's not a trick question, Evan.
Carrie, just...
(somber tense music)
(somber tense music continues)
(Carrie sobbing)
(gentle music)
Listen, Carrie.
I can explain.
- Don't bother.
I know how you feel about her, Evan.
Just be honest with me.
Do you still wanna be with her?
No. No, no, no.
It's been over with us for
a long time now, Carrie,
I promise.
I don't know if you're
being honest with me,
but what's even worse is
I don't know if you're
being honest with yourself.
Carrie, wait.
(tense gentle music)
(Evan sighs)
(tense gentle music continues)
(eerie music)
(VHS tape clattering)
(Even groans)
(tense music)
(ominous music)
(knife squelching)
(ominous music continues)
(blood spurting)
(ominous music continues)
(static whirring)
(dramatic music)
(Evan heavily breathing)
(eerie music)
No.
(eerie music continues)
Hey, has Shane gotten back yet?
- No, he's not back yet.
- I don't understand.
I thought you said that Shane took Allison
into town to catch the bus.
Carrie, look, I know you're
worried about your friend,
but every-
Aren't you worried?
Sweetie, there's no need to panic, okay?
Everything's gonna be fine.
- Yeah. Okay, I got it!
And don't call me Sweetie.
Who's the little girl in the woods?
(scoffs) You saw her, didn't you?
Nevermind. It's nothing.
Carrie.
Are you afraid of me?
You're hiding something from us.
And when your husband
gets back, we're leaving.
(tense music)
(tense music continues)
(group chattering)
Kyle, man, uh, can I talk to you?
Look, I know how this is gonna sound,
but I saw something on those tapes again.
(groans) Not this shit again, man.
Tony, man, I don't want
to hear it right now.
Just Evan, sit down.
What did you see?
I saw Kyle.
And then he was murdered.
Just like how I saw Allison.
Dude, you saw me die?
Evan, you have lost your mind and
Then why don't I come show you then?
- Evan.
- Yeah.
- You had another glimpse.
- What happened?
Evan thinks he saw me die.
Evan, you're you're going crazy, man.
- Am I?
- Yeah.
You wanna go, man?
Yeah, yeah, I'll take
you any day of the week!
You guys, stop!
(tense music)
I need a minute.
(tense music continues)
You're a jerk.
Hey, Evan! Wait.
I believe you.
Carrie, I'm not crazy, okay.
I know what I saw!
I know!
I think something
strange is going on here.
I just saw Dana, and Shane
still isn't back yet.
What do you think's going on?
You think someone's just messing with us,
trying to scare us?
I don't know.
I don't believe Allison left.
Okay, what are you saying?
I think something happened to her.
Man, I just,
I don't know what Evan's
deal is, you know?
Well, you need to apologize to him.
I think they went this way.
Hey, you know, if you
wanted to get me alone,
you could have just asked.
- Oh, yeah?
- Yeah, yeah, you know,
news flash, guys are pretty easy.
(suspenseful music)
(leaves rustling)
Hey!
(suspenseful music continues)
Who's there?
Hey!
- What is it?
I don't know.
Maybe it was that guy they
saw last night. (Exhales)
(suspenseful music)
I think we should get back.
(wind blowing)
(suspenseful music continues)
Evan, we should go back.
No, something might be in there.
Hey, Evan!
Listen man, I'm sorry about earlier.
You know, I just, I think
I'm a little stressed out.
Look, it's okay.
All right, I think we're all
a little stressed right now.
- Yeah. Yeah.
- What's in there?
I don't know.
Looks like they're hiding something.
We should go check it out.
(door creaking)
(tense music continues)
Oh God! (Coughing)
(suspenseful music)
- Hmm.
- Oh.
- Oh God. That stinks.
- Hand me that flashlight.
(tense music)
(flashlight banging)
Come on.
(sighs) You ready?
- Yeah. Let's get this.
You guys stay here.
Let us know if anyone's coming.
(tense music)
Oh. Oh, God!
What the fuck is this?
I don't know.
Looks like an altar or something.
Oh my God, man, there's
so much blood in here.
Oh.
(suspenseful music)
I saw this in the book.
[Evan] What is it?
[Sara] It said it was
the knife of the dead.
Guys, I think we need to get outta here.
- Yeah, good idea.
- Yeah.
(suspenseful music)
(footsteps clicking)
(suspenseful music)
(VHS shifting)
(ominous music)
(VHS clattering)
(ominous music continues)
(people whispering on VHS)
(eerie music)
I don't like the way that Dana's acting.
And where is Shane?
You know, maybe we should
just leave, you know?
No way!
Not until we find Allison.
I can't leave her here.
No, you're right. Oh.
Have you seen Kyle, lately?
Can you find him, please?
I think we should all
stick together for now.
- Of course.
- Hey, Evan! Wait.
I almost forgot.
I saw Dana and Tony together today.
Okay? And what's so unusual about that?
They were doing more than just talking.
Oh.
Okay.
You know, maybe we should just
stay at the campgrounds tonight?
(ominous music)
(Kyle groaning)
(eerie music)
(footsteps tapping)
You guys gotta hear this.
Hear what?
You saw something, didn't you?
I didn't see it, but I heard something.
I told you. These
tapes are dangerous, man!
We have to get rid of this.
Evan, calm down, man!
Listen, there's a voice in that tape.
And it said I was gonna die!
Man, what? Are you smoking again?
No, I'm not. Listen to me, please.
Dude, there's no voices in these tapes.
Wait, wait, wait.
Do you guys remember
that story Sara told us?
Oh, about haunted VHS tapes?
She just made that shit up, man.
No, she didn't!
And she called it like a glimpse.
I don't know, man.
I think you were just seeing things.
Okay, look, I think we should all stay
at the campgrounds tonight, alright?
I don't trust this place anymore.
I like that plan.
Okay. I'll humor you guys.
Sara and I are gonna stay at the cabins.
All right?
All right. All right.
I'll stay with Carrie.
Hey, you guys be safe
out there, all right?
Yeah.
(suspenseful music)
(crickets chirping)
(sighs) Hey, um,
why do you think you're
seeing that girl in the woods?
I think she needs my help.
It's like we're connected somehow.
I can't explain it.
I'm just...
I'm worried about you,
Carrie, I really am.
You're worried about me?
I am.
I think there's just something
about the woods here's,
it's like it's messing
with our minds, you know?
(gentle music)
I think in the morning
we should all just pack up and leave.
I'm not sure I can leave
until we find Allison.
(gentle music)
- Hey.
- Hmm?
I think I found something.
Hmm. Oh yeah?
I think the people that we're seeing
in the woods are trapped.
Hmm. Yeah.
Maybe?
Like that girl that Carrie keeps seeing
and the creepy guy that Kyle saw,
we need to tell Evan.
I think those glimpses,
they're a warning.
Do you wanna know what I think?
I think you're still into Evan?
(Sara laughs)
(gentle music)
(Tony sighs)
(gentle music continues)
(crickets chirping)
- Oh, did you bring it?
- Yeah.
Hey, what do you want with
this freaky book anyway?
- Because I need it.
- Yeah?
Baby.
Trust me.
Okay. (Laughing)
Hey, where is Shane anyway?
Hey, don't worry about him.
I'll take care of him, okay?
Yeah. Okay.
Sure. Let's go. (Laughing)
(crickets chirping)
(suspenseful music)
(loud thud)
- Shane?
- Shane.
No, baby, it's not what it looks like!
Shane! Shane!
(Tony groaning)
Don't. Shane, don't!
(knife squelching)
(Tony groaning)
Shane!
(suspenseful music)
Baby, stop. You're invincible now.
I set you free. Please.
Why is he still alive?
- Shane!
- You failed me.
Shane, no. Please!
Baby, no.
Shane, no!
Baby?
(knife squelches)
(Dana yelps)
(ominous music)
(Dana whimpering)
(Shane grunts)
(ominous music)
(object thuds)
Wasted love.
(tense dramatic music)
(tense dramatic music continues)
(tense dramatic music fades)
Carrie?
Find me.
Carrie. Wake up!
(bed sheets shifting)
(footsteps pattering)
(curious music)
(leaves rustling)
I'm not afraid of you!
You should be.
I died because of you.
No, that's not true.
I'm your sister, Jenny.
You were just a baby.
Try to remember.
No, no. That's not possible.
Try to remember, Carrie.
It's not possible.
- You're my sister.
- No!
Our sister, she brought
you here to trick me.
Why?
Don't believe her, Carrie.
What happened to Allison? Tell me.
She's with me now.
No, no, no, no, no. She can't be dead.
(somber music)
(door clicks)
(Evan mumbling)
(door shuts)
Tony's missing.
Carrie's gone too.
Oh shit, where could they be?
The book is gone too.
I think Tony took it.
- Why would he do that?
- I don't know.
We need that book, Evan.
It's the key to this crazy place.
(crickets chirping)
(leaves rustling)
- You guys hear that?
- Kyle?
Listen, this place is freaking me out.
The tape, saying how I was gonna die, man,
I'm not taking any more chances.
- Wait.
- Kyle, where you going, man?
We have to stay together.
Kyle!
It's all right. We'll find him later.
I swear that cabin was right here.
Evan, look.
This is Allison's.
Must be close.
Evan,
I read something in that book last night.
These glimpses you're seeing,
you're seeing them for a reason.
(eerie music)
What do you mean?
They're after you and
everyone close to you.
We're gonna die, aren't we?
No, no, listen to me, Sara.
We're not gonna die.
I just, I have to find that cabin.
And what if we do? What then?
I don't know.
Okay, but I will come up with a plan.
You with me?
(tense music)
(leaves rustling)
All right, this is it.
Let's go.
I don't think we should go in there.
Do we have any other choice, Sara?
In the book,
it says it can use the
tapes to transmit spells.
I think Dana's using
them to trap the dead.
Like that girl Carrie seen in the woods.
And I think Shane's dead, too.
The dead can be used to
do unspeakable things.
(tense music)
I'm gonna go find Kyle and the book, okay?
Sara. Wait!
Be careful.
(tense music)
(Evan sighs)
(tense music continues)
(eerie music)
(door creaking)
(door shuts)
(eerie music continues)
(eerie music continues)
(eerie music continues)
(door thuds)
Whoa, whoa, easy big fella!
Look, we got no beef here, man.
All right, just, let me go.
(suspenseful music)
You're scared of these too?
(suspenseful music continues)
- Tony, you're hurt.
- No, I'm okay, I'm okay.
I think I can walk.
Is she dead?
She's not moving.
She has the book.
(suspenseful music)
(Sara gasps)
(dramatic music)
You bitch.
(Dana groans)
Take the book.
Kill Shane.
(curious music)
Come on, Sara.
- Can you walk?
- Yeah.
Ow. I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry, Sara.
- Save it.
I didn't mean to leave you guys.
We just need to survive today.
[Tony] Okay.
(suspenseful music)
You're trapped here, aren't you?
Listen, we need your help, okay?
(suspenseful music)
(Kyle groaning)
(piercing music)
- Kyle, Kyle, what's wrong?
- Get away from me! (Panting)
Carrie?
- What happened?
No.
(suspenseful music)
Kyle? (Panting)
(suspenseful music continues)
How brave of you to defend her!
The trees are bothering you, aren't they?
The beautiful noise of the trees.
[Kyle] You're gonna stay away from her.
Yeah.
(fist pounds)
(knife thuds)
(Carrie yells)
(suspenseful music)
No! (Screaming)
(knife squelching)
(Carrie panting)
(blood spurting)
(ominous music)
Now you, little girl. (Laughing)
You can't run from me.
See, Dana told me a secret.
That's why all of you all are here.
She told me, you, you're her sister.
Your father, when you were a little baby,
he killed your sister.
- No.
(Shane laughing)
It's a shame 'cause you know what?
You're about to see him again.
(ominous music)
(Carrie gasps)
Time's up, little girl!
Nobody gets out alive.
Hey, asshole!
(Carrie coughing)
[Shane] Aren't you a pretty thing?
(Carrie groaning)
(suspenseful music)
You can take her place.
You're are a witch, right?
What are you afraid of?
(Shane laughing)
Ah, did Evan leave you here to die?
Hello, Shane. Looking for me?
What is that?
Do you think that can hurt me?
Oh, this isn't for you.
(Sara speaking in foreign language)
Bring the dead back to life!
Bobby, now!
(body thuds)
(Shane groans)
(object thudding)
(suspenseful music)
(Shane groaning)
(tense music)
You all right?
Yeah.
Gonna be fine. Okay?
Sir, how you doing?
Good thing we came out to
check on y'all when we did.
You guys are damn lucky.
When we heard that they
were reopening this camp,
we had our concerns.
This place has quite a history.
Of what, what kind of history?
As far as we can tell,
Dana was the daughter of Henry Walker
who ran this camp years ago.
It's a shame, really?
They never did find the
kids that were missing.
Did you ever find our friend, Allison?
No. We're still looking.
Those woods are deep
and I'm running short on deputies.
Thank you, Sheriff.
You kids be careful.
Dana is still out there.
Wait, did you say Dana's still missing?
Don't worry.
Rest assured. We're gonna find her.
Deputy? Check these two out.
You folks hang tight.
We're gonna get your
friends to the hospital
and gets you guys outta here.
What about him?
Says he doesn't remember anything.
Still trying to get an ID on him.
You guys hang tight.
(curious music)
Evan, look at him.
We could have been one of
those kids that went missing.
Yeah, I guess it's possible.
Dana's still missing.
What are we gonna do?
Should we tell them the truth?
No. No.
They wouldn't believe us.
I mean (scoffs), I don't believe us.
I can't believe Kyle
and Allison are gone.
I'm sorry.
It's okay.
Hey, how did you know
that spell was gonna work?
I'm a witch, remember?
To be honest, I didn't
think it would work.
Are we gonna be okay?
Honestly,
I don't know.
(tense music)
(tense music continues)
You doing all right?
No.
Can't believe Kyle and Allison are dead.
Well, they didn't find Allison yet, so.
No! She's dead.
The girl in the woods
told me, I believe her.
Evan, before Shane tried to kill me,
he said something.
(curious music)
He said, that girl in
the woods is my sister.
(curious music continues)
There is something else.
(gentle music)
What was it?
I think Dana could be my sister too.
(gentle music continues)
Let's just not think
about that right now.
All right, let's just
get you to the hospital.
Hey.
We'll be okay, I promise.
(gentle music)
(gentle music continues)
(wind blowing)
(crickets chirping)
Hey!
Which way to the nearest town?
It's about 10 miles.
Give or take.
Hmm.
Looks like I'm gonna
need transportation then.
Got a car I can borrow?
- Are you all right, Miss?
- Never been better.
Well, I got a truck.
I can take you to town.
You need to go to the hospital.
Is that so?
(suspenseful music)
What's the matter?
Never seen a dead person before?
(Evan groans)
(Evan sighing)
(Evan gasps)
[Sara] Hey, you're awake.
I just had the craziest dream.
It was...
It was Dana.
She killed someone like,
like strangled them in the woods.
I don't know. It was freaky.
Evan.
We're okay.
For all we know, Dana's
already been captured.
Hey!
We left that all behind us.
The tapes, the book.
There's no reason for her to chase us.
I hope so.
You know, I feel bad for
leaving Carrie in the hospital.
The police are watching their rooms.
Her and Tony are fine.
I'm gonna go take a shower.
In the next episode
of "Midnight Madness,"
the survivors of the Summer Camp Massacre
will go back to school
in a little film titled,
"VHS College Days,"
where they will have to battle a new evil.
(eerie music)
(eerie music continues)
(VHS dragging)
(eerie music continues)
(Evan's shakily exhales)
(eerie music continues)
(Evan sighs)
(eerie music continues)
(VHS clatters)
(Evan sighs)
(eerie music continues)
(body thuds)
[Dana] I'll take these.
