Guy: [Gasps]
[Breathes heavily]

intense training.

Helen is in a hurry
because there is this drive
to discover what we call
the 752.
And she's lost a lot
of the people
that she's been working with
in order to find this thing.
Driver:
Where to, ma'am?
Kennedy airport.
Hancock: We get little pieces
of the 752 as we go along
and no one knows
exactly what it is,
which is kind of fun.
Helen: You should know
there is a degree

I think he kind of does
let the skepticism slide,
and it's nice to be a part
of something.
Dark Horse?
That's kind of what
Guy's always looking for.
When someone asks
what I'm doing in London.
Fresh start.
You've had a rough time
of it lately.
But we've already seen
what waits for him in London.
And we know that,
as Burton told him,
not every vampire's like me.
There are some people that
are gonna try to take you
and they won't play nice.
London Motherhouse
has kind of a creepy vibe
to it a little bit,
and there's a Gothic nature
to that building in particular.
I think the windows
and how they're offset,
it's really beautiful,
but it's also
there's something amiss.
Fichtner:
The sets are incredible.
The basement of the Motherhouse
is incredible.
You'd step on and you
don't have to try to figure out,
"Geez, I wonder if I'm there."
No, no, no. You're there.
Just look around.
There's real dirt on the ground.
So this is it.
This is the basement.
This is a set that we had
to think very carefully about
how it was going to be shot,
what the best angles were.
But this is pretty much
how I originally designed it.
Hancock:
We're also establishing
more of the inner
workings of it.
You see people working
at computers
and passing along information.
We know that it's
not just Dark Horse,
it's there are people
that work there.
Mr. Owen.

Guy gets to London
with all of this preparation
and then doesn't know
what to do.
There's no orders.
We're waiting for something
to happen.
Hey. Come on.

[Camera shutter clicks]
Exotic.
Denton: What I really like
about reading spy stuff
and watching things like
"Three Days of the Condor" and whatnot,
is that you've got
these characters
that are reluctant spies,
and Guy, to me,
is a real reluctant spy
because he doesn't
really want to be a spy.
He just wants to figure out what
the hell has happened to him?
McGovern: Well, the spy stuff
is a lot of fun for me.
I mean,
just getting into a mindset
where you
have to do something
in a really complicated way
[Laughs]
that could be done
very simply.
So it's more a modus operandi
than it is anything
pragmatically necessary.
But even more important
than that,
it's the mentality
of being a spy
that I think the show
is very interested in.
Fichtner: That's what I love
about that moment right there.
Like, "Wow! Okay."
[Jasper telepathically]
Who do we have here?
He thinks he's gonna
listen to me?
Oh, no, no, no, no.
I gotta get to know him.
In episode two,
Guy is in a very rough spot.
And like many spies in
many spy books and spy movies,
Guy doesn't know
the full context
of the situation he's in.
In following Archie,
which is the only thing
he's been told to do,
he is putting himself
in great peril.
He's been warned
not to intrude,
that this is recon only.
And yet a girl's screams
make him as a human being go,
"Uh, should I go?
I have to go see if I can help."
[Woman screams]
Yeah, it takes the show
into a much darker realm.
And I think dead bodies
and Guy's never seen
a dead body.
Guy doesn't know what the hell
to do with a dead body.
And you really do see
that vulnerability
of fish out of water.
Hancock:
When he goes into the room
where she's hanging
and looks at her,
it's Keves who had met
only a night before
and spent the night with.
And Keves,
this person that he cared about
who actually saw him
and cared about him,
and he, her, is like axed.
And so I think that it's like,
"What has Helen
gotten him into?"
[Guy gasping]
[Wheezing]
Hancock:
All he can think to do
is to run away
as fast as possible.
And so from that point on,
there's no doubt
that his life has changed.
[Panting]
