it will be a very long journey
to escape this place.

through this whole process.

The engineer can choose
one person before each warp
to have their
dimensional waves analyzed,
and determine if that person
is human or Gnosia
with 100% accuracy.

Gnosia during every warp?
Now we just gotta figure out
who it is.
I'm gonna say it's you.
[RACIO] That's not possible.

who the Gnosia is.

who to look into first.

Voting has ended
with seven valid votes,
100% of all eligible crew.
The votes will now be tallied.
It has been decided.
The next enter cold sleep
is Racio.
[gasps]
[triumphant grunt]
[YURI] So I can only investigate
one person per day?
[LEVI] Affirmative. Running
the full anti-Gnosia protocol
has introduced some strain
on my systems,
so results
will not be instantaneous,
but they will always be
provided to you after the warp.
So investigating the whole crew
would take about a week.
And even worse,
it doesn't take
any great leap of logic
to see that the real engineer
will be a priority target
for the Gnosia,
whether that's
by elimination or discredit.
[LEVI] What an odd implement.
Isn't it?
It's graphite mixed with
some sort of clay.
It was just lying
in the cafeteria unclaimed.
Apparently,
it's known as a pencil.
I can't waste this opportunity.
I need to choose
someone suspicious
and then determine
if they're Gnosia,
and convince everyone else
before I get taken out.
As long as I know
I'm the real engineer,
I also know that Racio
was obviously lying,
which means that Racio
is confirmed to be a Gnosia.
So it follows that whoever
was supporting Racio today
is likely a Gnosia.
And that leaves five suspects.

Surely I have
enough information
to form some kind of lead.
[gasps]

be of assistance?
[YURI] Our meetings

that I'm the real engineer
or that Racio was lying.

And Shigemichi,
you voted for me.

you and Racio argued
and you publicly backed me up,

What I think is you planned this
together as Gnosia.
Racio would claim
to be the engineer

of discrediting the real one,
which is why they immediately
tried to cast doubt on me.
But they pushed too hard,
so they wound up getting dropped
into cold storage instead.

That actually makes
like a lot of sense.
Well, be that as it may,
if any of that were true,
then it would have made
way more sense
for me to eliminate Yuri
during the warp,
don't you think?

leave the real engineer alive
if I thought
they would investigate me?

Because yesterday,
Jina voted for you.
She was onto you,
and it scared you.
So you chose her to eliminate.

that I wouldn't look into you,
