trying to get to that new mine.

being diverted onto an access road
that crosses Broken Rock
and the rez is claiming
that they're trespassing.
That's one way to slow down progress.
On top of that, bottleneck's
got ranchers caught up in it
trying to get their livestock
to auction today, so

on their table.

And that's why we've been asked
to clear the people from the scene.

Guessing it was a hunting rifle.

I don't see either side backing down.

[Miles] Conflict began centuries ago.

on a black pickup,
two passengers,
but with no plates to go on,
you're looking at half
the vehicles in Montana.
Area where Kayce's at near Broken Rock
doesn't have any traffic cams or CCTV.
Blind spot, the way the rez
has always been treated.
Yeah, well, right now, sounds like
they're being treated
like a hunting ground.
Same guys who shot at us?
Shifting their aim and anger
from the Feds to the rez?
Or the first shooting
made it open season.
Andrea, if these
are the same two shooters
who were with Don Moore,
then we need their names now.
Let me hit Moore with this and
see what I can knock out of him.
Maybe you didn't shoot anybody,
but the people with you did.

is gonna add to your sentence.

the Clegg brothers

They had hunting rifles in their truck.
All right, well, firing at the roadblock
may have been the heat of the moment,
but shooting up the rez?
That was premeditated.
Federal agents backing the tribe
probably spiraled them
about the fate of that mine.
Maybe they decided to go out
in a blaze of glory.
Both brothers got multiple priors.

and guns are a bad combo.

were pushing me away today.

Life's become more dangerous for

or overcoming grief,
we need to stay in the fight, together.
