[Peter] I want to tell you the story
of how we fixed everything.
How we used the Mind Stone
and Wakandan tech
to cure every zombie on the planet.
But I can't.
Because it's not what happened.
[gasps softly]
[zombies growling]
[Peter] Something was waiting for us.
Something that we had been warned about.
Thanos.
He wanted the Mind Stone.
But after T'Challa saw
what he was doing to Wakanda,
he wasn't in a giving mood.
[Zombie Thanos growling]
Thanos had unimaginable power,
but his infected brain couldn't focus it.
[groans]
[Scott exclaims]
[Zombie Thanos grunting]
[Zombie Thanos yelling]
[Peter] T'Challa saw it before we did.
Zombie Thanos was learning.
It wouldn't be long before he was
unstoppable.
[zombies growling]
Things were looking bad.
I mean, we were outnumbered.
And then we weren't.
- [gun cocks]
- [growls softly]
You see, Thor, he had a score to settle.
- [Thor grunts]

[Groot yelling]
But that's not the story, either.
[Thor screaming]
[Peter] It all seemed hopeless.
Thanos turned the Golden City inside out,
exposing the molten vibranium
in its reactor's core.
[Zombie Thanos yells]

I heard T'Challa say "Wakanda forever,"
