the day I held aloft my sword

Among them are Light Hope,
Madame Razz, and Kowl.
Together, we and my friends
of the Great Rebellion
strive to free Etheria
from the evil forces of Hordak.

I just knew it was true.

of Castle Grayskull.
So Hordak hatched a vile plot.
He knew you were both
destined for something special,
though he did not know
exactly what.
So he crept into the palace
determined
to steal you both away.
With him went
his favorite pupil, Skeletor.
So Skeletor was originally
a member of the Horde.
Hordak had just
lifted Adora from her cradle
and was about to take Adam too,
when Man-At-Arms
entered the nursery.
Man-At-Arms tried to stop him,
but Hordak escaped with Adora.
To save himself,
Skeletor betrayed his teacher
and told us the way
to the Horde's secret base.
Man-At-Arms and I went there,
hoping to rescue Adora.
But we were too late.
You may have defeated us,
but you'll never see
this child again.
We searched for you
for many years, Adora,
but we could not find
the dimension
to which Hordak had escaped.
To spare Adam
the pain of your loss,
I cast a spell
that wiped all memory
of you and the Horde
from the people.
Only the king and queen,
Man-At-Arms,
and I knew the secret.
And now?
Now you have gained
the Sword of Protection
and become She-Ra,
as you were always meant to do.
The rest is up to you.
You do want to see our mother
and father, don't you?
More than anything.
But I can't just leave Etheria.
The Rebellion needs me.
