you gotta filter what you say.

This is not a conversation that you would
have with anybody that you work with,
or anybody you work for.
I'm not saying you can't be
a little more relaxed with family,
but you can't venture
into an area of being disrespectful
without getting negative consequences.

but I'm always going to be honest.
One thing I was thinking about for you,
CEO training classes on managing people.
And you want me to use this
for talking to our family?

And Dad told me that

And that is rude.
If Dad can micromanage us and what we post
and tell us not to post certain things,
like, he should be able to tell her.
Dad's signing me up for

arguments have gone over the years.
I think Ashley is always
competing against her
for, I don't know, TJ's attention, which…
That's what's made me
not be able to trust her completely.
But Alix is an adult now.
She may come to me and vent
about a situation that happened.
But if I try to step in, she'd be like,
"Stay out of it, Mom."

After talking to my mom
and hearing she was upset about Aspen,
we decided that we wanted
to invite my mom and Todd to Wellington
to watch Penelope compete.
She is passionate about horseback riding.
I don't know the correct way to say it.

Her horse competitions. I don't know.

We're all really excited
to go on this vacation together,
but there's a little bit of tension
from a few different ends right now.
So maybe, honestly,
maybe this trip will be good
for clearing the air on everything
and everyone getting on the same page.
-It'll be fun.
-[Alisa] It's fine. It's all fine.

She went to the CEO training course.

I do still, like,
want to try to get into modeling.

Like, I don't know.
Like, I really, really do
want to, like, go for it.
Like, it's something
I've always wanted to do
but never really thought it was feasible.
Going to school and getting a job was,
like, our only option.
But now I'm an influencer,
and I'm transitioning
into this more fashion-based influencer.
And I feel like
this is the time for me to at least try.
Yeah, but I feel like you just started.
Like, can't we, like…
I feel like you got to start somewhere.

I know, but I feel I should be talking
to modeling agencies or something.

When I was a sophomore in college,
Alix was already doing her content thing
and I was not doing it at all.
But my dad was managing her
and he was kind of like,
"Oh, you should try to get a few
brand deals while you're in school."
Then I was doing small brand deals
in college and just posting about my life.
And over the second half
of my college career,
I kind of just, like,
slowly and gradually started to grow.
And by the time I graduated college,
I had made a full career
for myself out of this,
even though it wasn't, like,
what I fully planned on with my life.
Yeah, that's kind of how I got here.
And I'm still kind of figuring out
exactly what this looks like for me.
[music fades]
We just need to meet with a bunch
of people until we find the right people.
And, like, we don't have to, like,
go to sign with someone right now,
but I feel like at least talking to people
would be helpful.
My concern is that you're gonna shut off
all the progress
that you've made as a creator.
In terms of working
and a job and livelihood, like,
the priority is picking something
that can provide
financially for you.
[pensive music playing]
In this business,
there are the things that you love doing,
and then there are the things
that will make you money.
And sometimes they don't align.
So my goal is to hopefully help them
achieve success
in something that they love doing.
Thankfully for Alix, that's working.
And Ashtin, we're still kind of
playing around with it a little bit.
At the end of the day,
you have to make money to be successful.
I just feel like you only care
about me making money
and not actually doing what I want to do.
And it feels super vain to be, like,
"I want to be a model,"
but it's just something that's always been
really cool and exciting to me.
And I feel like I wouldn't have
the opportunity to go for it
if it weren't for influencing,
which is why I feel like there's got to be
some way we can do both.
-[poignant, pensive music playing]

I just decided, let me do it myself.
But I was also, like, drunk in Vegas,
so it seemed like
a better idea at the time.

I've kind of been a little bit annoyed
at Dad, Manager Dad,
because we have our weekly meeting
with everyone on my team,
where we all speak about--

So it's like this is my one meeting
with Dad a week,
and he's missed it twice this month.
-Like, he's my manager.
-Right.
He just should be knowing
what's going on, and…

How long before the meeting did he cancel?

He texted in our group chat and was like,
"Hey, guys, can't make it today."
[all laughing]

My mom is usually pretty supportive
and excited for me
whenever I'm doing anything.
Sometimes with my dad, I feel like
nothing I do feels like it's a big deal
just because it's not, like,
as big as what Alix is doing.
But it's impossible
to ever live up to Alix's pace.
And I don't want to be
a carbon copy of Alix.
I want to do things
that are more for me and, you know,
make my own name in this world.
I feel like
this is just like personal problems.
But, like, sometimes when we're
at family dinner, you know,
obviously he just is talking
about Alix the entire time,
even when she's not there,
which is fine, I get it.
-She has a lot going on.
-Yeah.
And I honestly don't really
like the attention on me anyway.
Yeah. It's like you've handled
yourself very, like, elegantly
and, like, supportive of her as well.
Yeah, of course I'd be supportive of her.
As you are also, like,
prospering in your own way.
[Ashtin] A lot of people actually ask me,
"Do you get like jealous
of your sister's career
and, like, what she has?"
I'm like, no, because I honestly expected
nothing when I started doing this.
Like, I knew I could--
Would never be her.
Like, I didn't even think
I could be anything on my own.
-I mean, she's just… I'm so proud of her.

-She's my best friend.
-I'm supportive of her.

[Ashtin] But I've also just had…
I feel like a lot of great things
are happening with work right now.
And I'm like really happy.

I'm flying to Wellington a day late
because I have an important shoot
that I can't miss in the city.
I'm definitely still
figuring out how to navigate
what I actually want
versus what everyone else
is telling me I should want or should do.
I'm trying to learn
how to trust myself more.
I think that takes time and practice,
but I don't know, we'll see. [chuckles]

And I honestly feel like that's why

Reale Actives is a skin care company
that I have been working on
for the past two and a half years.
I'm so nervous, and I want to do it right.
-It is just a big passion project for me.

And all of this started
because acne is something
I've dealt with since,
like, middle school.
Like, it has just always been
a big insecurity for me.
And that's always something that's been
at, like, the core of my audience
and something that's
really resonated with people.
I thought that my life was over
and never going to get better.

for millions of people to see,
then you can leave your house,
you can go to class,
you can go to the grocery store.

and everyone immediately.

I was on a flight and I was like,

in the first two minutes she put it up,
like, for sure someone would have seen it.

their phones taken away.

I'm going to have to write
a rule book for everyone
because apparently common sense
doesn't run in the family.

else in the family,
it doesn't feel as deep or as hurtful
as to when it's between the two of us.

we've had trouble
and whatever in the past.

I feel like sometimes you always think
that, like, people are attacking you
and coming at you,
and I think that's your trauma
that you need to work through too.
And I think I get most scared for you
and for Izabel and for Ashtin, right?
Like, to be under this microscope,

who you are at the end of the day.

more than ever that's felt like…

It just feels like
there's more of, like, a spotlight now,

of the breakup, or what it is.
But, like, I feel like everything I do

or there's something twisted.
Which, even me sharing online,

And I'm like, "I probably shouldn't."
But I wouldn't have cared
about that two years ago.
It's hard having everything I do
be viewed with so many different opinions.
And being in this world has weirdly
made us all closer as a family too,
because I feel it's made me feel like
there's less people that I can trust.
My family are really the ones
to have my back.
-But Ashley is definitely sensitive.

We didn't always give her
the easiest time in the beginning.
So I think she just sort of like
reverts back to those feelings
of, like, everyone hates her
and doesn't want to get along with her,
or is finding something wrong about her
when anything little goes wrong.
I adore you and I love you so much.
And I know that you know that.

and I hope that you know that.
I think I just got, like,
insecure in that moment.
And I apologize

And I should have come to you
a little bit more calmly

And things are always going to come up
because we are going to

It's just respecting each other
is the foundation for every relationship.
And I'm just cherishing this moment
that her and I get to do this.

they take out all of their frustrations
on the people they love most.

Sometimes I just feel like Dad
has too many opinions on my life.

he is only focused on her
and has kind of forgotten about me.

It's hard to feel like you're being
overlooked professionally,

being overlooked by my father.

I don't see her vision,
which I don't see a path
to pursuing something for the love of it
without having it make money.

to look at other managers
