Trinity Blood (2005) s01e05 Episode Script

1
I doze with you in front of the mirror,
with rouge fingertips
This hand unexpectedly showed weakness
and blocked your lips.
I made a promise with you that day
And now we can't remember it
Why don't I have wings
to float in the sky,
like the wind,
like the clouds?
Why don't I have wings to sink
into the all-enveloping night,
like the stars,
like the moon? Ahh
Wow! Wow!
Yes, yes. I can understand your surprise!
After all, this is the center of the world!
The peak of human culture!
Father Do you think I'll fit in,
in a place like this?
Don't worry! Just relax
and come with me!
After all, Rome is like
my own backyard!
Outsiders are not permitted in.
H-hey, now!
I'm no outsider!
Father
Esther-san. This is just
a small misunderstanding
Umm, Mr. Guard, I'm on
the staff here, you see
Then please present your ID.
Oh, yes, my ID
Just a moment while l-
Let's see Huh?
Now where did I put it? Huh?
Huh?
Father
You're giving me a cold
look too, Esther-san?!
I really do work here!
More like toil, in fact!
Just please hurry!
Everyone's looking at us
You're the same as ever, Abel-kun.
Noelle-san
I figured this would happen!
I apologize for the inconvenience!
Not at all
You're OK to pass!
Thanks!
It's nice to meet you!
You must be Sister Esther!
Yes!
I'm Noelle Bor,
Abel-kun's colleague.
You're in AX?
She might not look it,
but Noelle-san is very skilled!
Rumor has it she can take out
a bull with her heel drop attack!
Abel-kun!
Just joking!
Let's go. Caterina-sama is waiting.
Right!
Hey! Wait for me!
Father Nightroad. Good work
on your assignment.
It looks like I'll be reading
another interesting report.
Yes, you’ve got that right
Sister Esther.
Yes?!
I hear you helped resolve
the Istvan incident. Well done!
N-no, that's not true
I wasn't able to do anything
And I followed up
where she left off, so
I realize it's tough
working with this man.
The Holy Office warmly welcomes you.
For the sake of the world,
please give your all.
Yes! I'll work my very hardest!
Hello? Caterina-san?
For some reason, you make it sound
like I'm a worthless person
Oh, you're not? I thought for sure
you were aware of it yourself
You're terrible! I'll have
you know I'm never at fault!
In fact, it's the situations I'm placed in
that cause all the trouble!
Are you saying that we're
giving you trouble, then?
Caterina-san-
Father Nightroad! How can you talk
to Her Eminence like that?!
- I'm working my hardest!
- It's all right.
Oh, really? And what's this
I hear about losing your ID?
Who told you about that?!
There was an inquiry from Security.
Abel. You're an adult.
Let's be more organized, okay?
Right
Your Eminence. I'll go show
Father Havel and Sister Esther to HQ.
All right. Vaclav. Speak to Professor
Wordsworth about the incident.
I understand.
Was it all right to leave
Father Nightroad behind?
Yes, it's perfectly fine. They probably
have lots of catching up to do.
I'm sorry; I was hoping to give you
a tour of Rome if time permitted.
Not at all! I want to learn my job
quickly and be useful to everyone!
How outstanding!
I just felt like
I have to do something
Our training is harsh, you know!
Be sure not to get left behind now!
Right!
The Holy Office manages
the Vatican's diplomatic relations.
The Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, basically.
You can hardly call the present
state of world affairs stable.
Problematic tasks are handled
by a special branch of the Holy Office
known as the AX.
In other words, by us.
Professor? Are you in here?
Not again
William. Pardon the intrusion.
He's really messed up the place again.
Are you all right, William?
What is this place?
W-who are you?!
Me? Why, I'm William Walter Wordsworth.
Everyone calls me "Professor".
While I do teach
at the University of Rome,
the students are all so
disagreeable that I'm always-
William!
Vaclav! Oh, and Noelle-kun!
It's been a while since we last met!
You never change, Professor!
And who is this sister? I don't
believe I've seen her before
My name is Esther Blanchett.
I've just joined the Holy
Office, and, well
A new recruit, eh?!
Nice to meet you! I'm William-
Wait, I just said that!
William. Could you help us out?
It's about Father Watteau
Has Hugue done something again?
Just the opposite. We've lost all contact.
It's been almost four months.
Once that kid gets an idea,
he really obsesses over it
and loses sight of all else.
Father Hugue de Watteau.
A member of AX.
I'm sure you'll get
to meet him sometime,
but he's sort of missing at the moment.
Missing?! Did something happen
to him on an assignment?
If so, it would still be all right
We were hoping your inventions
might be of use at a time like this
Leave it to me!
What on earth is that?!
This thing here
All substances emit their own
characteristic low-frequency waves.
Living organisms are said to emit
ultra-low frequency waves
via their trace levels
of internal magnetism
This system detects and discerns
these waves to locate a target person!
I don't really understand, but wow!
You should probably stay back.
W-William!
That's odd.
Last time, it detected Abel-kun
buying junk food on duty just fine
Help!
Please knock that off!
I thought it was someone's EM attack,
but it was just you, William!
Oh Sister Kate! How are you
on this fine afternoon?
I'm not letting you
off the hook this time!
What was that noise?!
Are you trying to destroy my radar?!
S-something like this wouldn't even
scratch the Iron Maiden's radar!
It gets on my nerves!
T-that woman
I can see through her!
It's always the same thing!
Will you please grow up, William?!
You call yourself
an Albion gentleman?!
Is this your first time
meeting Sister Kate?
She's an AX member too.
Captain of the Iron Maiden warship.
That giant warship? Albion?
Sister Kate and William are both
from Albion and go way back.
"I apologize for the Professor's
carelessness earlier.
As a token of apology, here is some
special herb tea. - Kate Scott"
It's delicious!
Kate's herb tea is one of
the AX's very few specialties!
Say, Esther
Have you been to Albion before?
Sorry if I shouldn't have asked!
But it looked all right to
I can "see" people's emotions.
You can see emotions?
Colors appear.
That's my special ability as an agent.
Albion is my father's home country.
I've never been there myself
but I would always imagine
what his home was like
You'll be able to go there
in the not-so-distant future.
I don't know anyone there
It's just my own one-sided attachment
I sense hope in your blue.
I'm sure things will work out!
Hope?
Father Why?
Why? Well, because
Because I'm on your side.
Why did I just think
of Father Nightroad?!
What's wrong?
No, it's uhh
Father Nightroad certainly is
on close terms with Caterina-sama!
Yes, they apparently go way back.
I hear they met before
the AX was founded,
but I don't know
the details either.
I see
There's just no letting go of Abel-kun
Noelle-san
Caterina-sama is a strong person.
I doubt she has any fears
or uncertainties
Yes. The Rosen Kreuz was directing
this incident from the shadows.
The enemy of the world
The Rosen Kreuz Orden
Caterina-san
It's always the same
It's no different at all
from ten years ago
Are you-
I have to protect people.
So I'm going to help you.
Sister Noelle!
Noelle-san!
Where am I?
What's the matter?
I'm sorry!
Umm W-who are you?
My name is Sister Esther Blanchett.
I didn't mean to disturb you
Umm Are you all right?
Y-yes
I'm fine.
I'm sorry. Umm
Are you lost too?
No, uhh
Will you come with me?
Let's do that! Just sitting here
won't solve anything!
U-umm!
Let's ask someone for directions!
But thank goodness! This place is so big!
I guess everyone gets lost!
Umm I'm sorry
About what?
I'm I'm not lost
I'm sorry The truth is,
I just ran away
Ran away?
My brother scolded me
I was afraid
and sad so I just-
You were crying in secret?
I'm sorry
Your brother must be really scary!
Yes!
But he's an amazing person!
He's great, and strong
He's completely different
from me, which is why
My brother hates me
I'm sure your brother
is worried about you.
I think having someone scold you
out of worry is a happy thing!
R-really? Do you think so?
Yes.
Sister Esther Blanchett.
Father Tres?
What are you doing? Sister Noelle Bor
is presently searching for you.
I'm sorry! I got lost
on my way to the washroom
Were you looking for me?
Positive.
I will lead you to Sister Noelle.
Recommend accompaniment.
Thank you!
Your Holiness. Request reason
for staying in this location at present.
According to your schedule,
you should be attending to your duties.
Umm Uhh
I'm sorry
"Your Holiness"? W-wait,
you don't mean
he's the Pope?!
Positive.
U-umm, I'm sorry!
I didn't mean to hide it!
He's the Pope?
Sister Esther.
It is deemed likely that Sister Noelle
continues her search for you.
Request accompaniment.
Right!
My handkerchief!
Oh well
Noelle-san! Is it true
that Sister Esther is missing-
Sorry!
I'm sorry I worried you!
Esther! You had me worried!
Esther-san! Thank goodness!
Actually, I often get lost here myself,
what with the complex layout and all
Didn't you say earlier
that Rome was like your backyard?
Eh? Did I say that?
Oww!
Damage report, Father Nightroad.
Abel and Esther Blanchett
I know this will not remain forever
However, it's beautiful
Your eyes, hands,
and your warm smile
They're my treasure
It's hard to forget
I wish there was a solution
Don't spend your time in confusion
I'll turn back now and spread
My broken wings- still strong enough
to cross the ocean with
My broken wings- how far
should I go drifting in the wind
Higher and higher in the light
(My broken wings)
Still strong enough
to cross the ocean with
My broken wings- how far
should I go drifting in the wind
Across the sky,
just keep on flying
(What's falling from the sky
is not rain )
