Trinity Blood (2005) s01e06 Episode Script
Sword Dancer
1
I doze with you in front of the mirror,
with rouge fingertips
This hand unexpectedly showed weakness
and blocked your lips
I made a promise with you that day
And now we can't remember it
Why don't I have wings
to float in the sky,
like the wind,
like the clouds?
Why don't I have wings to sink
into the all-enveloping night,
like the stars,
like the moon? Ahh
That's all of them-
As requested, a unit
is now in Amsterdam.
Good work. Please keep me updated.
By Amsterdam, I assume this is about
the incident at the Old Church?
The murders and blood-robberies
of the clergy, parishioner included?
Amsterdam?
Don't tell me you sent Sword Dancer?!
Are you sure about this? You know his
history as a dispatch executor.
I have no choice.
The four-city union that includes
Amsterdam is Count Four territory.
We need to know the lay of the land
to take action unnoticed.
What happens when he puts
his personal grudges above the mission?
When that happens
we send Gunslinger in.
Hell if I know!
None of my men've done a thing!
Which would go to show, Carel-kun
just how mentally
deficient you really are.
Because it means you didn't even
notice strangers screwing you over.
Shut up, Memling!
I'll kill you!
That's enough!
A church has been attacked
on our turf, of all places.
Surely you all realize
what that means!
The fanatics who act like
they're guardians of the Terrans
The butchers who long
for our eradication
The Vatican!
We must find the real ones
responsible before they intervene!
Better hurry, Carel
Damn it!
I don't need you to tell me that!
I'll find 'em, all right!
Hey! Where's Pieter?!
What's goin' on with that
nun who survived?!
Sister Agnes, yes?
Y-yes
Please be careful.
It's dangerous for a lady
to walk around alone.
Especially
on a foggy night.
A vampire!
Now then, Sister.
My brother wishes to speak with you
about the incident the other day.
Could I ask you to accompany me?
I
don't remember anything!
I really can't remember
anything about what happened!
Let us discuss it leisurely
back at the mansion.
Come
B-but
Come!
T-that hurts! Let go!
Please let go!
Then get the hell in!
Hey. Vampire.
What do you want?!
Let the girl go and leave quietly
or I'll kill you.
Kill? A lowly Terran,
killing me, a Methuselah?
That's not a very good joke.
What?!
You cannot kill me.
S-say what, now?!
I'll slaughter you!
Who are you?
This is it?
You're sure it's safe?
Of course it is!
This machine directly scans
the brain's interior,
so as long as information
remains inside, it can be read.
But the mental pain
the subject undergoes is
I don't care! All I want
is to know about the incident!
C-Carel-sama!
Carel-sama!
What kind of joke is this?
I asked what kind of joke this is!
T-there was a man in a cape
A very skilled man
W-what?!
I-it couldn't be!
Alright!
I don't care what it takes!
Just drag that man and the woman here!
Got that?!
Father!
Father!
You awake?
W-who are you?!
I'm Hugue.
A traveling priest.
You made this?
It's gonna get cold.
Right.
I humbly accept this.
It's delicious!
What are those?
Oh, I give those to everyone!
They're quite popular!
Umm
What happened afterwards?
Were you hurt at all?
This protected me.
Well? Have you found out?
Pieter van den Welf
Younger brother to Carel van den Welf.
So they're looking for
the culprits too, huh
It looks like there's
another side to this.
Please be careful.
Let's see what they do.
Not so fast!
You'll behave if you want
the girl to stay unharmed.
You're coming with us.
Carel-sama wants to see you.
Enter.
Pardon the intrusion, sir.
Wilhelm has returned.
- Did he bring 'em?
- Yes, sir.
Excellent!
What did you do with the man?
Just as you requested.
There's no need to be afraid.
Come with me.
So it really wasn't you?
Of course not!
We ain't that stupid!
But I really can't remember
anything about it!
So I've heard. Got the
report from the police.
What's that?!
A memory playback device.
Memory playback?
Are you ready?
Y-yes.
Begin!
Yes, sir.
Here it is!
Inside the church?
That's all of them-
Play that back again!
That's all of them-
Again! Turn up the volume!
Turn up the volume!
That's all of them,
Memling-sama.
Memling? Memling?!
Damn it!
That bastard! Tryin' to set me up!
He'll pay! He'll pay for this!
Are we finished?
- You get it recorded?!
- Y-yes
Alright! Extract the data right away!
Right.
Just you watch, Memling!
It's all over for ya!
Is it over?
You just saved my hide.
Hey! Someone take this girl home!
The priest
Let the priest come too!
Priest?
That guy ain't no priest.
He's a Vatican hitman!
That's a lie!
Ain't no lie!
You can watch tonight's show, too
Huh? It's just an ordinary ol' rod
How did he make this thing-
Ladies and gentlemen!
The execution of the Vatican dog
that murdered my brother Pieter
will now take place!
Father!
Father
Looks like this is the end.
Father!
What?!
Damn you! Just had to butt in!
What a fool.
Impossible! A mere
Terran beat a warwolf?!
I can't leave any of you
alive after all.
Die.
I see. So he wiped out
the vampires in Amsterdam?
Yes. He said he was
heading for Antwerp next.
Order Sword Dancer
to return home.
If he complies immediately,
his excessiveness will be disregarded.
If he doesn't comply
Are we awake?
I'm-
You survived!
What about the priest?
Long gone. He said to give you that!
Father
Look! Another day of lovely weather!
I know this will not remain forever
However, it's beautiful
Your eyes, hands,
and your warm smile
They're my treasure
It's hard to forget
I wish there was a solution
Don't spend your time in confusion
I'll turn back now and spread
My broken wings- still strong enough
to cross the ocean with
My broken wings- how far
should I go drifting in the wind
Higher and higher in the light
(My broken wings)
Still strong enough
to cross the ocean with
My broken wings- how far
should I go drifting in the wind
Across the sky,
just keep on flying
(What's falling from the sky
is not rain )
