The Celebrity Traitors (2025) s01e07 Episode Script
Episode 7
1
..19 celebrities arrived to play
the ultimate murder mystery
These dastardly Traitors,
we've gotta find them.
..all in the hope of winning up to
£100,000 for their chosen charity.
Oh!
As more Faithful fell
I am a Faithful.
"You have been murdered."
..castle conspiracies escalated.
Stephen's a Traitor.
The mission raised the stakes
The losing team
will be up for murder tonight.
Oh! Is everyone happy
with their teams?
No, I'm not happy with my team.
We should now randomise it
one more time. Oh, for God's sake!
Who is the leader of the pack?
Oh!
Nick, Lucy, Kate, Stephen,
Jonathan - you are up for murder.
Sorry, guys.
..and a heated Round Table
I'm interested in the way
that Kate and Stephen interact.
I can't get my head to stop
thinking about you, Jonathan.
Why are you acting cocky round the
table? I'm voting Joe tonight.
It's not Joe, because I deliberately
sabotaged that final round.
..resulted in a banished knight
Stephen. Stephen.
I am, of course, as I have told you
all along, a Faithful. Ah!
..and it's checkmate
for either Kate, Lucy or Nick.
"If you see Claudia, you are safe.
"If you turn around and see the
Traitors, you have been murdered."
This is The Celebrity Traitors.
SINISTER CHORAL MUSIC
Ah! Can I hug you?
You may. Are you sure?
Congratulations, you are safe.
Thank you.
SINISTER CHORAL MUSIC CONTINUES
OWL HOOTS
Last night, the Traitors
murdered a Faithful face-to-face.
For either Lucy or Kate,
their time in the castle is over.
But who will be walking
into breakfast
and who is not coming back?
We must be first.
God, look how small the table is.
Ah! Ah!
That's depressing. That's sad.
But that does mean
I get first dibs on the croissants.
Poor old Stephen went.
I know, I'm so embarrassed.
Like So wrong.
How have we managed
to banish another Faithful?
We got rid of Stephen,
found out he's a Faithful.
You know, the numbers don't lie.
I think it's a combination
of they're doing a brilliant job,
and we're doing
the worst job in Traitors' history.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in!
Hello! Hello! Darling!
Oh! Hello! Yeah.
Of course you three are here.
Oh, what a gentleman.
Murdering face-to-face
was so harsh and so raw.
I feel like the Grim Reaper.
It's probably going to take
three votes now for someone to go.
But we must, actually,
honestly, the Faithfuls,
we've got to band together. Mm.
If you are a Faithful,
please follow me
because we've got to get
a majority of vote.
Celia, I will definitely follow you,
but I need some sort of
Guidance. ..theory,
based on a little bit of evidence.
The trouble is And you can't
keep just complimenting people,
then voting for them.
You've got to have a reason.
I know. Calm down.
My worry is, the Traitors
will warn each other.
Oh, I see. And I don't want to give
them time to warn each other.
There's so few of us now that
they'll be aware of everything
cos there'll be one of them
in every conversation.
So, who is it?
It's Jonathan, Nick, Lucy
and Kate can be murdered.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in!
Ah! Hello, Nick. Good morning!
Hello! Hello.
I thought you'd be murdered,
I'm not going to lie.
I'm so happy to see you, Nick.
Thanks, man. I mean, like, honestly,
I'm just so delighted to be here.
We've got the one
true Faithful back.
I feel really lucky
to have survived.
I mean, I'm just really keen
to see who has gone.
If it's Kate, that pretty much
confirms to me
my theory that Jonathan,
Lucy and Cat
are the Traitors.
So, last night
I had to walk to the chessboard,
stand in the middle and then that
Death figure Last night? Yeah!
What?! In the middle of the night,
genuinely, it was mad. What?
That's mad. And it said
on the letter, "If you turn around,
"and you're going to die, you will
see the Traitors and they will
"reveal themselves to you,
but it does mean you're murdered."
Oh, my God!
"Or if you turn around and you see
Claudia, then you know you're safe."
So the Traitors,
whoever they murdered,
did it to their face, then?
They did it to their face,
and so whoever has gone
That's cold. ..got to find out
who the Traitors were. That is cold.
Anyway, that's how it played out
and so it was quite thrilling.
God, Nick, how brave of you!
Well, I mean I mean it!
Thanks, Celia.
I think there's more Faithfuls
Here Here. And I agree with that.
I put it out there.
I'd love it if you came with me
on the Jonathan theory.
If I'm wrong, please
just vote me out tomorrow.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in. Come in.
Good morning! Jonathan!
Walking into breakfast,
I'm going to admit
that I know the heat's on me.
I know Joe's going to go for me,
but really I've just got to take it
as it comes, which is how I've
sort of played most of this game.
Do you want to tell Jonathan
Oh, you must have done the same?
In terms of, like, going down
and stood on the chessboard
and everything. Chessboard,
but I was thinking
I'm not going to talk about it.
Oh, OK. Oh, I see, yeah.
I just described it in full detail.
But then if there was a Traitor
in the group, they would have been
there anyway, so they may well have
witnessed us all going up there.
Oh, I see. Right, OK, yeah. Yes.
So it's Lucy or Kate.
Lucy or Kate are not coming back.
Oh, this is stressful, isn't it?
Lucy was convinced it's her, but
I think they've killed Kate. Yeah.
If she comes through that door, I'm
going to be like, "What the hell?"
If Kate comes through, I'm more
inclined to believe she's a Traitor.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in! Oh, that's a Lucy knock.
GASPS
Congratulations, you are safe.
Thank you.
Ah!
Oh, my God!
I was right! Oh!
Oh, my God!
Oh, I hope you feel terrible
about yourselves.
Lucy, you've been murdered.
Oh, my God!
I'm not happy with you at all.
"By order of the Traitors,
you have been murdered.
"Signed, the Traitors."
Oh, you've played this
really, really well.
I'm sorry, Lucy!
No, that's not good enough.
Bye, Lucy.
Bye. See ya! Wouldn't want to be ya!
I can't believe it was Cat!
I've totally
let my emotions cloud things
and not wanting to believe that
because I've built up
a friendship with somebody,
that they're not capable
of doing it.
And Alan! Oh!
Alan killed Paloma!
There was an element of, like,
real shock
and feeling quite betrayed,
and also, like, a relief.
I finally know who they are.
I can't believe it.
GASPS
Have you just been saying
I'm a Traitor?
Good morning, Kate.
Oh, my goodness, so Lucy's gone!
Lucy?
Oh, my God,
that has thrown everything.
VOICEOVER: I actually felt
really bad murdering Lucy.
I felt quite guilty
but it had to be done.
I think it's just going to
cause more chaos.
Well, this has blown it wide open.
All my theories are just
Nobody's pleased to see me!
We are pleased to see you.
We're confused.
Everybody looked really shocked.
I think now, those that are
suspicious of me being a Traitor
are even more suspicious.
Why does nobody trust me?
I don't trust anyone here.
And, secondly,
you don't come with a lot of ideas
or theories, so then I'm like,
"Oh, are you just waiting for
someone else to pick a theory,
"so that you as a
Traitor, potentially,
"could just jump on that one
and stay hidden?"
OK. They're the two bits of feedback
I'll give you.
I've been under attack quite a lot,
so I think maybe
I've been defending myself
so it hasn't looked like
I've been attacking, but
Can I say one thing, though?
Everyone's feeling paranoid.
In actual fact,
we're not feeling paranoid,
cos you feel paranoid if you think
people are after you, who aren't.
We are feeling people after us
cos they are.
Oh! I think I'm reasonably Oh
Good morning, everybody.
Morning! Good morning!
I hope you are enjoying
your breakfast.
You are getting so close
to the final
and winning money
for your chosen charity.
I tell you who isn't, though -
poor Lucy.
Brilliant Lucy was murdered
by the Traitors face-to-face.
Ooh!
I hope that hasn't
put you off balance.
I'll see you shortly
for your next mission.
"Off balance."
It's going to be something
where we have to balance well.
Oh, all right, Sherlock.
LAUGHTER
She literally said, "balance."
I'm glad you've started coming to
the table with theories now, Kate.
I'm so useless, I can't bear it!
LAUGHTER
I'm going to play badminton,
if anyone wants to play badminton.
Badminton!
Can I watch you play it badly?
Yeah, I mean
Oh, and it's also a bit windy.
That's going to be my excuse.
Big couch over here? Yeah.
Take a flick, like that. I'm very
confused now, Joe. So am I, mate.
I was adamant
Lucy had something to do with it.
My theory has been based
around Jonathan being the leader,
and his minions were Mark and Lucy.
I mean, yeah, great.
How wrong I was about Lucy.
I feel bad
cos I was pretty convinced
but, obviously, I was wrong.
So, that's kind of blown things
wide open for me a little bit.
I think we need to talk about
the chess game.
How the teams were selected. Didn't
you just randomise it, though?
I said we've got to randomise it
because if there's any Traitors
who have decided, "Oh, well,
"let's us go here or one there
or two there," I thought,
let's sort of try and blow that
out the water, at least,
in the first instance. We walked
onto the chessboard randomly
and if a Traitor looked at that
and there were too many,
two or even three of the Traitors
on one team, they would want to say,
"Let's arrange the teams
differently."
Well, that puts a target on my back
but, I mean, I am a Faithful.
But, like
I did find that strange. Yeah.
It was Nick who was uncomfortable
with the way the two teams
had been divided,
so that's a question
that's been playing around
in my mind.
This is
LAUGHS
Oh, my God! I can't do this.
I can't stand
and watch these two play!
But David's reading it wrong
because I was the one who said
I want us to change the teams,
because I was like,
"Why don't we put some intention
on our choice?" Yeah.
Today's plan is,
get round the Faithfuls,
see where they're at and then get
at least three others
to vote in the same way
and catch our first Traitor.
That Traitor is Jonathan,
in my eyes.
Joe and Cat,
will you come with me
if I vote for Jonathan tonight? Yes.
I haven't been able to shake him
from day one.
Let's make a pact, cos the thing
is, I think we daren't talk about it
too much cos I don't want
the Traitors to warn each other.
Do you think we're closer now
to getting a Traitor
to dob in a Traitor?
No. You know why? Why? Why would
they? We haven't got any of them.
Unless we get a Traitor,
they're obviously
presenting a united front, I think.
Do you think, though,
that if they see that the wind
is going in one person's direction
who is a Traitor? Cos they're
definitely jumping on bandwagons.
I guess my concern's
that everyone's got to pile on me
cos some people do think
I'm a Traitor, you know, they say,
"Well, you're not coming to the
table with it." But when you
came to the table and you were
really strong about Mark,
you were wrong.
I know, I know, I know.
But here's a way of looking at it.
Who have we been strong on
that we've been either steered away
from or persuaded away from?
The only one I was strong on
last night was Joe.
And I have problem with Joe.
And I was steered away from him.
Did you vote for Joe as well?
I voted for Joe. I just think that,
that front he puts on, you know,
always beware of someone
who keeps pushing someone else
forward strongly.
Why are you doing that
when you've got no proof?
I am so confused right now.
Nobody's trusting their gut any more
cos their gut keeps lying to them.
Nobody's trusting each other
any more
cos we're all lying to each other,
and I thought I would have
more clarity, but I don't.
I said, do you think
there's any hope at all
that a Traitor might dob in
a Traitor now and they might think,
"Well, we only need one Traitor to
win so therefore we'll dob them in"?
Who did you say that to?
Alan and Jonathan.
And what did they both say?
They both said, "Nonsense."
You could interpret that as
you were talking to two of 'em.
Yes, right. It's a possibility.
And they were actually answering
your question, but they were
answering it on behalf
They were telling each other
"We're not going to do that."
Oh, that's interesting. OK.
You all right, Alan? Yeah.
I'm still getting a lot of heat.
You're getting a bit more
than before. Mm.
Who are you going to go for?
I don't know yet. Who do you think?
Joe's not going to let go, is he?
I think it's got to be Joe.
Let's stick with Joe. Yeah.
I think Jonathan is on the ropes.
Joe's like a dog with a bone.
He won't let it go.
You've just got to hope
that he doesn't influence
any of the others
to go for Jonathan.
With the prize pot
currently sitting at £43,500,
in today's mission,
the Traitors and Faithful
must rely on each other
to bank more money.
It is actually bonkers,
this, isn't it? It's madness.
We've never been in a car together,
have we? No.
We can do plotting. Yeah, we can!
You any good at balancing?
I've got a little bit
of core strength. Really?
I've got a little bit
of core strength.
Kate said that she had a
conversation with you and Jonathan,
saying, "Oh, I think
round about now,
"maybe the Traitors will turn
on each other and vote 'em out."
You and Jonathan both said,
"No. No, no, no, no."
Then Joe's gone,
"Well, maybe you were talking
to two Traitors just then
and they've just told you." Oh!
Joe's really, like
Joe needs to go!
Celia, we don't ask you
often enough, I don't think,
but who do think it might be?
Darling, do you
really want the truth? Yes.
You know I'm dazzled by you.
You think it's me?
I don't want you then to think
I'm trouble and then kill me.
No, I'm
LAUGHTER
You know, seriously.
Jonathan's going to vote for Joe,
I'm going to vote for Joe. Yeah.
You vote for Joe as well.
I can't!
You can, cos once you've written
it on the board, that's three.
Let's get rid. But if he doesn't go,
he's coming for me.
There's going to be someone goes
out tonight who maybe only has
three votes, so only go for
who you think it is,
because it would be very easy
to tip it in one direction. I know.
No, no, no,
we've got to stick together.
Alan has stayed under the radar.
He sure has.
But also, can I say
someone else who has? Cat. Yes.
She's barely said two words. I know.
They're the two people who've stayed
under the radar most, who are left.
Alan and Cat. Yes.
And that does look suspicious.
Oh, God! Oh, no!
Have you seen that over there?
Wow! Oh, that's actually
quite scary.
That's going to wobble a load. Yeah.
Oh, no!
Players, who here loves heights?
This looks like hell. Oh, my God!
This is the bridge.
It's tall, it's big.
Unfortunately for you,
I've just got to be frank,
it's quite rickety. Urgh!
It's going to wobble like crazy.
All you have to do
is cross the bridge.
Charming.
Along the bridge are markers.
Each time you pass a marker,
£500 will be added to the prize pot.
If you fall off the bridge,
you will only bank the money
earned up to that point.
To help you, though, this is lovely,
you'll be working in pairs.
One of you will cross the bridge
while the other will act as a guide.
But that's not all.
As you can see, suspended in the air
is a shield bag.
You must collect this bag
on your way across the bridge.
OK, I'm going to be honest
with you.
The bridge has not been finished.
So, you will have to throw this bag
to your partner.
If your guide catches the bag,
I add another £500
to the prize fund. Oh! OK.
So, if you all cross the bridge,
if you all collect the bag,
you could add a whopping
£10,000 to the prize fund.
Whoever catches a bag,
they then have a choice.
Choose a portrait
and put it in the shield frame,
and therefore protect
that person from murder.
They can choose themselves,
or any other player.
There is only one shield available
today, and that will belong
to whoever is in the shield frame
at the end of the mission.
Harness up
and then we'll chose the pairings.
I think everyone who's a Faithful
who doesn't have a shield
is worried about
being murdered tonight.
It's so close to the wire now.
We're all desperate to get a shield.
Let's see who's going first.
Oh, God. Oh, my goodness.
Alan. Yes!
Kate. Oh, come on!
Who's crossing and who's?
I'd like to do it.
Do you want to cross? Yeah.
All right. I'll do it.
So, Alan, you're going to cross
the bridge? Yes, I am.
Kate, you're going to be his guide.
I wanted to make the most of this
mission, so I said I'd do it.
I'm trying my hardest
to look like a Faithful.
Oh, God!
Alan, Kate, are you ready? Yes!
Oh, my God! OK.
OK, enormous luck!
Alan, cross the bridge!
Oh, look at him.
Oh, no, it's well wobbly!
That is so wobbly!
It is wobbly. Spread your weight.
Put your arms out!
Oh, no, no, no!
You can do it, Alan!
No! No! No!
It was terrifying.
It looked easy from down below,
but the way it wobbles
under your feet,
it's like you're on
top of a skyscraper.
Stop it now! Breathe!
You can do it! Look up!
No, no, no!
CELIA LAUGHS
Oh, darling boy!
We're never going to make the
Round Table if you take this long.
Aargh!
Lean a bit more to your left.
Aargh! Oh! It's all right, Alan.
You're nearly there!
No, I'm not, you liar!
Oh, no, there's this bit here.
Don't rush.
ALAN SQUEALS
How do I get over it? Slowly!
Aargh! Aah! Keep edging forward.
Aargh!
Oh! You're doing well! Shut up!
You're doing brilliantly!
I felt like I was at
sports day with the kids.
Well done!
But I fear that maybe,
like a kind of loving,
overbearing, willing mother,
I was putting him off.
Ah-ha-ha!
£500!
£500 banked! Yeah!
Oh, no! No, no, no!
Oh, I can't watch.
I can't watch.
His knees must be shaking
with the adrenaline.
Whoa Oh, no, no,
no! Well done!
Alan, you're halfway.
Oh!
Ooh! Wow! Wow!
Ha! Yes! Alan!
Has he got to
get the bag now?
Oh, no!
Our hero! That's going to be hard.
Oh! Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Alan!
Oh, my God!
I am not looking forward to this.
Yes!
Whoa, no! Yes! Yes!
Oh, no, this
You're doing so amazingly well,
Alan. You're there, you're there,
you're there. Well done, Alan.
£2,000 added!
Now, hang on. Get central.
If Kate catches it, another £500
will be added to the prize pot.
Here we go.
Got it! Yes! Yes!
Well done, Alan!
I mean, if she had dropped that sack
after me going all the way
across that rickety bridge, I would
have murdered her, in plain sight.
How does he get down?
There is only one way down.
Really? Really?!
Oh, my God! Oh, my God!
Woo! Yeah! Well done!
Alan! Alan, you're an absolute hero.
God, my testicles!
I feel like a winner and a eunuch!
LAUGHTER
We were an incredible pair.
I think I did help
to get him across.
However, you might talk to Alan and
he might say I drove him crackers!
That bag means that you now can
protect a player from murder.
You can choose any player,
including yourself.
No discussion, off you go.
There's not many of us left.
The final is in touching distance.
I could really do with a shield
on this one.
I think it's got to be Alan.
Oh, Kate!
You earned it. Ah!
I thought there's absolutely
no way I can keep this shield
for myself because he has
flippin' earned that shield.
OK, here we go.
Jonathan. Oh! Ha-ha!
Nick. Nick!
OK, so who's doing which role?
I'll walk the plank.
That was a scary-looking mission
and I kind of didn't
really want to try it.
If Nick wants to do it,
great, let's do it.
Good luck, Nick, cross the bridge.
Ooh! Oh!
Marvellous, very balletic.
I've done quite a lot of work
on, like, wires in, like, TV
and theatre and film,
and I get a real thrill out of it.
You're like a cat! A very,
very agile one with great balance.
It's the Alan Carr textbook.
He's copying me.
£500 added.
Well done!
Slowly now.
It's going to get wobblier.
Whoa!
And now slowly over.
Perfect! Well done!
Well done!
It was like he hadn't even
touched the bridge. It didn't move.
He was just so elegant and gentle.
£1,000 added.
Oh, my God, you're doing great.
I didn't really have to do
anything difficult at all.
I just have to stand on a little
platform and watch someone
doing the hard work, which kind
of is how I like to live these days.
Grab the bag. £1,500 added.
He's now attempting
to get the shield bag.
Whoa! Well done!
£2,000.
OK, I'd better catch this now.
Oh! Yes! Yes! Woo! Yes!
Nick Mohammed! £2,500 added!
Whoa! Yeah, lovely! Woo!
Oh, look how cute he looks,
dangling there.
I love heights.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy.
Like, it was tricky to sort of
balance on the bridge,
but it was, yeah, it was thrilling
and I really enjoyed it.
But Jonathan now has
a big decision to make.
Oh!
Oi! Put that back! Put it back!
VOICEOVER: My face is replaced.
That's showbiz!
You know, one minute
you're front-page news
and then you're, you know,
fish and chip paper.
Oh! Oh, he's put you on.
You are shielded, Nick.
It was very easy for me to put
Nick's in because I just copied
what a Faithful had done
and Kate had done what they've all
been doing, really bad tactics,
I think, which is not to play for
the shields personally, but to treat
them as some kind of, like, honour
system that we're all really polite.
OK Celia.
Yeah!
Cat! Oh! Yeah! What a team!
I want to cross the bridge.
Yes, perfect. Yeah.
Oh, my goodness!
It was so scary.
To start, I didn't think
I was going to get on the bridge.
When I looked at it,
I really did not think
I was going to get through it.
Two pairs have gone over,
completely successfully.
You have added £5,000 to the pot.
Brilliant.
Now it's time for Cat and Celia.
Good luck, Cat, darling! Good luck,
Cat! Cat, cross this bridge!
It's actually fine.
It's actually fine. We're so fine.
It's literally fine.
You've got this, Cat! You're OK!
Um, what's my problem? OK, OK, OK.
We're right behind you!
I just didn't want to be
the person that
didn't get across the bridge
cos I'd be really embarrassed.
Yes! There we go!
It's fine, we're literally fine,
it's literally fine.
It's literally fine. Well done! It's
literally fine. It's literally fine.
It's literally fine.
It's literally fine. More steps!
CAT SCREAMS
It's OK!
Scream, let it out! Let it out! OK.
If you can, more in tune!
# Ah!# Better. There you go.
It's steep
and then it'll get flatter.
This is a horrible bit.
Stop mentioning steep.
But I think the first bit
looks really scary.
Yeah, well don't say it. Huh! Oh!
Maybe look up a wee bit, darling.
That's good.
And use your arms to balance you.
My bloody legs keep shaking and it's
ricketing the whole stupid bridge!
This is a new side to Cat,
I'm going to be honest.
But, you know, it must be
terrifying. Wh Woo! Woo!
My legs can't stop shaking!
It was very scary
being on that bridge.
I just didn't want to fall off it.
I just didn't want to fall,
so I had to just keep trying to
get my balance and keep breathing.
How did you do this, Nick?
What about me? I did it, too!
How did you do this, Alan and Nick?
Thank you.
Take a right leg
a large step
That's it! That's it.
Yes! You've done it!
Yes. You've done it.
I think it's good
with your legs apart like that.
LAUGHTER
Celia, like some PE teacher from
the '60s at an all-girls' school,
"Arms out, Cat. Legs akimbo!"
And then you'd look across to Cat
and she'd be like, "Aargh!"
"Aargh!"
£500! Yes!
£500 added.
Oh! You're all right,
you're all right, you're all right.
You're so close. Take your time.
SHRIEKS
You're all right.
I'm an adult, I'm an adult.
But you're an athlete as well, Cat.
You love this!
I love it!
Oh, no! Oh, no, Oh, no.
Come on, you've got this.
Yes! Whoa!
Ah! Oh! Don't say "Oh!"
Yay!
£1,000! Yeah!
Cat got halfway and then the
building confidence to the end,
and, obviously, a lot of that
was down to Celia giving words of
encouragement. You've got this, Cat!
£1,500! £1,500! So proud of you!
You're doing so well!
Oh. Oh! Oh!
Oh, my God! Woo! Bravo, Cat!
Put your foot on the red
and the money's safe!
£2,000! Yes! Yeah!
Ready, Celia?
Yes, darling.
Yes! Yay!
Well done, Celia.
You were amazing!
You did it and you loved it!
Bravo, you!
I could cry.
I was very, very proud of Cat.
In fact, I was rather thrilled
to be partnered with her,
cos I knew she'd be good.
Sorry, Nick.
Oh!
It has to be, doesn't it?
Oh! Yes! Yay!
Actually
No! No!
LAUGHTER
OK, Joe and David.
Who's going to do what?
What do you fancy? I'll do it, yeah.
You're crossing. And,
David, you're catching.
OK, Joe, cross the bridge.
You can do it!
Well, that went down a bit,
didn't it?
Oh, look at this.
Oh, I like the technique.
We can't even do it
when we're not on the bridge.
Knees bent, arms out.
He's got the giggles.
He's got the giggles.
I was starting to get a bit nervous.
I'm a little bit top heavy
and balance isn't really my strong
point.
Come up. Take your time.
This is nice. Yeah! Well done!
Brilliant, Joe, brilliant.
Thank you, David.
Yes! Yes! You've done it.
Yes! Look at him! Concentrate.
It's really wobbly in the middle.
Oh! Ooh! Oh, Joe!
I was hoping that Joe would fall,
not only cos it would be quite funny
to watch,
but that would have meant that Cat
would hold on to the shield.
Yes!
£1,000 added.
I can't believe he's got this far.
Woo-ha-ha!
Take your time, slow it down.
Stay focused.
Ooh! Yes!
Brilliant, well done. Woo!
David, you're really, like,
calming energy to me.
That's it. And I'm enjoying it
a lot. Take your time.
Careful, careful, careful.
Oh, the bag!
£1,500.
Careful! Almost there.
Yes! Well done. Yes! £2,000!
Yes! David caught it!
Well done! £10,000!
Oh, that's good! Wow!
Joe did a brilliant job
and he did it with all of the
kind of his normal humour.
Cat, you are currently shielded
from tonight's murder. Yes.
It is up to David
who gets the shield. Interesting.
What's he going to do?
Sorry! Oh!
He can put anybody on,
including himself.
Yes! Ah! Ah! Woo!
That's the right decision.
Got to be.
I'm buzzing to get this shield.
At this stage in the game,
the chances of getting murdered
are higher than ever,
so I'm going to sleep easy
with the shield tonight.
Players, congratulations.
You have added £10,000
to the prize fund. Woohoo!
So, today you tackled the bridge.
Next, you have to tackle
the Round Table,
where one of you will be banished.
I'll see you back at the castle.
Well done, guys.
We couldn't but wish each other well
on that mission.
That's the great thing. Yeah.
It is the great thing, but it's
also our biggest downfall, Celia.
I know. I know, I know.
Cos we seem to have been bonded
so strongly that we're then
so confused as to actually
looking out for Traitors. And with
each mission, it gets worse.
Well, Joe M's got a, shield. I know,
I wanted to kill him tonight.
What we going to do?
That means he's going to come for
Jonathan this Round Table
and tomorrow at Round Table,
he's going to come for me.
He hasn't said that
he thinks it's you,
but he's like,
"We need to look at everyone."
Cos it would be very difficult
for all three of us
to be able to get to the end.
Yeah, yeah. Because they're hungry
and they're going to start looking
at people they've never looked at.
I think the gloves are off.
Oh, is it lasagne? Oh, lovely.
Honestly. Look at that.
I think they're playing the chaos
game. The Traitors? Yeah.
That's why we haven't been
able to find them.
They've gone randomly. Yeah.
You know, with the
There's no rhyme or reason.
Ah. It's a tough one.
What makes me laugh,
I'm not talking out of turn,
David, he has all these theories
but where's the names?
He never mentions any names.
I might go with David tonight.
Does he?
See, David is the one
I'm most suspicious of.
I just want to have survived
long enough to see one Traitor go,
at least. Yeah. I think David's
going to bring me up at the table.
I know you're worried
but there's nothing to worry about
it taking fire, your name.
I don't know, cos I haven't
actually suspected David,
but because he has been
banging on about it a bit,
I'm like, "Oh, David,
give it a rest."
How are you feeling, David?
Are you all right?
Utterly confused. I know.
I think we're all a bit confused.
It feels like Jonathan's name
has been mentioned a fair bit.
I think we spend a lot of time
not talking about
what's occurred
round the Round Table. Yeah.
Not talking about what's occurred?
You know, we talk a lot
about theories.
Actually, that's true and
our theories are never right. Yeah.
How are you feeling
about the Round Table?
I'm going to try and stick to my
..original thought.
I do.
I thought he was the one
with the most chutzpah.
And I still think that.
And, actually,
I've got waylaid in-between
and I'm going back to it. Mm, yeah.
I just If we get rid
of another Faithful. I mean
No, I'm not sure
we've got another chance.
I think tonight is it.
But I'm afraid now,
supposing you're a Traitor
..you might warn
your other friends Mm
..that I was going
to vote for Jonathan.
That's what I worry about
and perhaps I shouldn't have
said that. You can trust me.
ALAN GIGGLES
Can I? Oh, you can!
But can I, though?
Oh, we've come this far!
I know, and I adore you but, Alan
What?
You're
..very clever. Oh! Very clever.
Well, no, I am, I can, er, I can
tell you now, I am a Faithful.
Well, you're bound to say that.
Why am I even bothering?
I don't know why Celia
all of a sudden is suspicious of me.
She never used to be suspicious.
We used to have a lovely chat
and she'd wink at me and go,
"Oh, Alan, I know
you're a Faithful."
And now she's, like,
dropping the T-bomb.
We should talk games cos this is the
last chance we get before we go in.
Anyone changed their mind? Anyone
want to say who they're thinking of?
Anyone would like to play a trick
and try and confuse someone?
I feel like David is still
suspicious of me
suggesting that we should
randomise the groups.
Oh, was he asking you
more about that? Yeah, he was,
and it's fair enough and I do
It was suspicious.
I think David is still
suspicious of me.
I think you might still be
suspicious of me a bit, Nick?
I'll be honest, it's just
I just feel it's wide open now.
I can't see it's Celia.
Could be Alan.
Cos we all looked away
from the Paloma thing very quickly.
It could be Alan.
You've made me nervous now
about Alan.
Last night, I went,
"Oh, Alan, you'll sleep well,"
and he turned round to me,
he was like, "What? Why?"
And I went,
"Cos you've got a shield."
He went, "Have I?" Oh, yeah.
And now I'm thinking, did he forget
cos he doesn't need one?
You wouldn't forget.
But as a Faithful, I would not
forget if I'd got a shield.
I'm like, "Right, I'm sorted."
I'm still here, Cat's still here,
Alan's still here.
We are playing this as a team,
but, you know, we do need to mention
each other's names or else
we're going to come under suspicion.
It's very difficult.
They're all very independent
thinkers. I think tonight
we're going to see people
going much more with their gut.
The players are about
to enter the Round Table.
With five defeats behind them, they
are desperate to catch a Traitor.
So, who will step up?
Who will take control?
Who will lead the hunt?
We're about to find out.
# When the chaos comes,
when the chaos goes#
Tonight, we've nothing to lose.
Throw caution to the wind
and catch ourselves a Traitor.
I'm going into the Round Table
with mixed emotions.
Jonathan's name
is on everyone's lips.
Me, him and Cat
have been Traitors forever,
but I just don't know
what I'm going to do.
Tonight, we have to get a Traitor.
We owe it to all the Faithful
who have been murdered,
been banished before us.
We really need to get it right.
We're two days away from the final,
so we have to.
Have they got my number at last?
But then, I've been here before.
Am I just being unnecessarily
worried about something?
Do I have a chance to survive?
Players, welcome back
to the Round Table.
Today, you added £10,000 to the pot.
Your current prize fund total,
then, is £53,500.
Faithful, so far, the Traitors
have got away with murder.
In this room right now,
you can change that.
The floor is yours.
OK, I'm going to start.
I'm going to share the names
that I've heard.
I've heard you, Jonathan.
I've heard you, David.
I've heard a little bit of Nick.
I don't think it's you, Nick.
I've also heard my name.
So, I don't know whether you want
to start by saying
if anybody thinks it's me,
so I could address that
before we then look
at the other names we've heard.
I'm suspicious about the way
conversations are deflected.
But I'm suspicious of everybody
cos at this point in the game,
with the level of failure,
we'd be crazy not to be suspicious.
Could I take the conversation in
a slightly different direction
Absolutely, please do.
..if I may? I just want to try
and think about clues.
I'm confused by the chess mission
and I'm confused why it was
that when the two teams
were selected,
that there was an intervention
by you, Nick, to change that.
You, Nick, said that we needed
to randomise the teams. Yeah.
But we were random. Yeah, no
Nick, before you answer that, I
think you're misremembering, David.
Just want to make sure. This might
throw myself under the bus.
I easily could be, yeah.
But it was actually Claudia who said
to us, are we happy with the teams?
Everyone agreed except me, who said,
"No, I want to be on a team
with a Traitor
"so I can keep an eye on 'em."
I just wanted to ruffle a few
feathers to see how people
would react,
to not just going along with it.
You say it's just to ruffle
a few feathers.
We've never been bothered
in the past with the idea
of just saying, "Here's two teams."
And how did that go for us
as Faithfuls?
Well, but we didn't know
how it would turn out
cos we hadn't played the game.
No, I mean, we'd never chosen teams
before, so my theory was,
well, that's not working.
The only thing I would say in my
defence, to have done that openly,
to have then kind of,
I don't know, colluded with Joe,
last minute and deliberately kind of
get the wrong answer,
and then for one of our team
to sort of make ourselves
sort of vulnerable,
I mean, just to sort of kill
one Faithful, you know,
if I were a Traitor,
it feels very sort of roundabout
and it was just genuinely
well-intentioned.
So, first time we're split into
two teams where only one team
was going to be protected
by shields.
That was different in that respect.
Alan, I just
I'd love to hear from you.
I haven't heard a huge amount
from you at Round Tables.
Oh! We've only just started, love.
Round Tables, plural.
Open up your lugholes.
You're telling me I don't speak?
Do you think I don't speak
at the Round Table?
No, I think you do speak. I guess
you haven't spoken much recently.
Well, you were very big on Mark.
What do you want me to say?
Well, I didn't say
I wanted you to say anything.
I said I'd quite like
to hear from you.
If you don't want to do that,
I'm not forcing you.
OK, so, for the
Just something I want to
Obviously, I have my suspicions
of you, David,
and I just found it weird,
you know, when it was between
you and Mark, you got five votes
and then those votes
just disappeared Yeah.
..for the next Round Table
and I wondered whether you
and your fellow Traitors
had done a bit of a
Gone round and
Because they just evaporated.
It almost felt like the Traitors,
cos I think there is three,
had said, "Let's just
get David off the hook,"
because I just You know,
it was like it had never happened.
I'm equally surprised.
Like you, I was expecting
to go at that Round Table. Yeah.
The thing is, it's make or break
tonight, seriously.
We have to get a Traitor out.
It's sad, but true.
We have to do it tonight.
No messing.
I think Celia's call for urgency
is really important.
If we banish a Faithful tonight,
and the Traitors kill tonight,
there will be six players,
three of whom will be Traitors,
which is catastrophically bad.
If there are three.
If there are three, but that's
been our working presumption.
I'd like to speak. Please.
I just wanted to just be honest
and that.
I'm a bit suspicious
of you, Jonathan.
Obviously, we've been kind of going
with this big dog theory.
What you were saying yesterday, Joe,
about looking at the clues
within the game,
especially the sort of
Ruth situation,
cos I know we were saying
it could be a double bluff?
So that's why I think
I was leaning towards Stephen,
but then obviously we found out
Stephen was a Faithful,
so I am then leaning towards you.
Look, it's a valid theory
but, you know, I would say I'm
prepared to take one for the team.
If I go, you haven't got much
of a team left. That's the thing.
But, I mean, if that's what
your feeling is, I am telling you,
you're not going to be pleased
with the end results.
I am going to vote for Jonathan,
as much as I'm bedazzled by him
and adore him.
I've thought it, then I went off it,
and I'm going to go with my gut.
Can I just say something
while we're on Jonathan?
You know I was suspicious
of Joe and, you know,
cos he's always there
planting the seed.
I know he has this quite weird
persona with his, you know,
the way he's Pot, kettle, mate.
Yeah, the way he stares at people,
but then I had a little bit
of a brainwave.
Say you two are the Traitors.
Because you're so OTT
Cos I see you. You're like this.
And you almost, like,
glaring at Jonathan like this
and, you know, you're like this.
And I thought,
is it so big that, actually,
you make it impossible to vote for
Jonathan because it's so out there?
Am I talking gibberish? No,
it's maybe a possible vote for me,
but I'm saying
I'm not in cahoots with Joe.
I was definitely going to go
for Joe and I made that clear,
and the only reason I didn't
was at the last minute,
I went back to someone who
I was suspicious of was Stephen,
and the only person really speaking
in defence of Stephen was Celia,
who is, of course,
completely wrong tonight.
Players, the time for talk is over.
Please write down the name of the
person you believe is a Traitor.
Oof!
Are the votes locked in? Yes. Yes.
Thank you.
Joe, we'll start with you.
Who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
Big Dog.
I can't shake my gut, mate.
I've gone with you.
Cat?
Er, my vote's for you, Jonathan.
Same as Joe.
Celia, who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
I'm going for Jonathan.
Your kindness blinds me.
However,
I'm going to stick with my gut.
Jonathan.
Well, I'm not entirely convinced,
but I'm going with David.
David, who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
I'm voting for Nick, I'm afraid.
You're either the ultimate Faithful,
or you're a brilliant Traitor.
So, a vote count.
Three for Jonathan,
one for David, one for Nick.
Nick, who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
Er, Jonathan, I've reluctantly
voted for you.
Um, I really, really hope
that we're correct.
Alan?
After Niko, I promised myself
that I wouldn't follow the crowd
and be a sheep.
But that's why I feel so bad now,
cos I have done that
and I'm so sorry, Jonathan.
I had to go for it. Sorry.
Oh, God!
And for the final vote, Kate.
In for a penny, in for a pound.
I've gone for you, Jonathan.
I'm sorry.
Jonathan, you have received
the most votes.
Please come up here and join me.
Oh, no! Oh, no! No!
Jonathan, you have received
the most votes
and you are banished
from the castle.
Please now reveal, are you a
Faithful or are you a Traitor?
I've got no idea
what everyone's doing wrong.
I cannot believe
you've done it again.
I cannot believe that I'm standing
here for no good reason,
so I don't want to be rude,
but you're idiots.
ButI'm not judging
because it's fiendish,
so I'm not blaming the players,
I'm blaming the game.
I am now, and I have been
all through the game,
completely faithful
..to the Traitors! Yes! Oh!
CHEERING
Brilliant! Right to the end.
That was the most
ridiculous bow-out ever.
They got me. But I'm kind of
I'm kind of relieved and I'm glad
that Alan went for me as well.
You know, we've been Traitors
all the way through,
but I'm hoping that,
just out of honour
for the departed older member of the
family, they will stick together
and they will romp off to victory.
Players, you got one!
CHEERING
Well done. And you did it
just in the nick of time.
Because after tomorrow's
Round Table,
the banished players
will not reveal their true identity.
God!
You deserve to celebrate,
so I am throwing you a dinner party.
Stop it! Go, enjoy yourselves
and enormous congratulations.
You are all one step closer
to the final.
Oh! That was unbelievable!
It finally worked!
Ahh! Oh, we got one.
We've got a flippin' Traitor.
Well done. Well done.
Well done. Well done.
The Faithfuls have got
their first Traitor.
I feel very sad because
it's been me, Jonathan and Alan
this whole time but, unfortunately,
he just had so much heat on him,
it was time for him to go,
unfortunately.
It's all your snooping that did it.
It's sad having to, you know,
put his name down,
but it just got me off the hook.
But, yeah, there's a Jonathan Ross
hole in my turret.
A dinner party tonight? Now?
I've just had a lasagne.
Oh, my God! Carr's Bar, it's two
for one cos we're celebrating.
Celia! Well done, my darling.
A, for doing your brilliance
on the tight wire walk. Thank you.
But also for coming with me.
Yes. For Jonathan. Yes.
Very good indeed
to finally catch a Traitor.
Very relieved, but saddened
cos I adored Jonathan,
but I'm very glad
I stuck to my guns.
I'm absolutely buzzing.
It's so It's so good!
It has been so long. I went,
"Oh, my God, we're going to go
"the entire game
and we'll never find one."
Honestly, that's what I thought.
And he played it so well.
That was an unbelievable Yeah.
He had us fooled.
I'm safe tonight. I've got a shield.
So, I will sleep well
and tomorrow
..round two begins.
Oh!
It'd be too easy to just rest
on our laurels and not I know.
No, no, no. Is there anything
that was noticeable
in terms of reactions, or?
Cos usually what a Traitor does,
when they think
they've been rumbled,
their last vote will either be a
passing shot to a fellow Traitor
I think he rolled his eyes.
He went to David, didn't he? Yeah.
So, does that mean
he's Jonathan's Traitor mate?
I don't know.
Could be his Traitor mate.
Do you know what I mean? Mm-hm.
I'm also appalled at my thought,
but why don't we think
Alan might be?
See, Alan's clever
I think it was the, er, Paloma
Alan's sort of flown under the radar
because he is so adorable
and I'm completely hooked on him,
actually. Mm. Mm.
SIGHS
After a long and agonising wait,
the Faithful finally banished
a Traitor and Jonathan has gone.
That leaves Traitors Cat and Alan
to regroup,
and tonight's murder
isn't going to be easy,
as they're about to find out.
# Make me bleed
# Oh-oh, make me cry
# Still #
Oh, no!
Bog off!
"Traitors, tonight there will be
no secret meeting in the turret."
"Instead, you must murder in
plain sight at tonight's dinner."
"To do this, one Traitor must toast
the player you want to murder,
"whilst saying the words"
"'Parting is such sweet sorrow,'
followed by their name."
"You must do this
before the night is over."
# He eyes me like a Pisces
# When I am weak #
Oh, dear!
It's a great feeling, that.
It's a great feeling!
But he had me going at the end.
Oh! Right to the last minute.
JOE LAUGHS
Just need to figure out
how to speak to Alan
without making it too obvious.
Because Alan's got a loud voice.
Gives things away.
So, who voted for Jonathan tonight?
I think everyone bar you.
I think you're right.
It means Traitors voted
for their own.
This game is so It is brilliant.
I mean, it's brilliant. Yes.
..unbelievably hard.
ALAN: Shall we have a quick cup
of tea? I can make you a cup of tea
if you want.
I can't see you saying it.
It's really hard
to publicly murder someone.
Oh, God!
How the hell
are we going to do this?
What is it? Sweet sorrow? "Parting
is such sweet sorrow"? Yeah.
I've always got to do the dirty work
for these Traitors.
I'm surprised they haven't got me
up in that turret with a hoover,
doing some light dusting.
Why is it always me?!
..19 celebrities arrived to play
the ultimate murder mystery
These dastardly Traitors,
we've gotta find them.
..all in the hope of winning up to
£100,000 for their chosen charity.
Oh!
As more Faithful fell
I am a Faithful.
"You have been murdered."
..castle conspiracies escalated.
Stephen's a Traitor.
The mission raised the stakes
The losing team
will be up for murder tonight.
Oh! Is everyone happy
with their teams?
No, I'm not happy with my team.
We should now randomise it
one more time. Oh, for God's sake!
Who is the leader of the pack?
Oh!
Nick, Lucy, Kate, Stephen,
Jonathan - you are up for murder.
Sorry, guys.
..and a heated Round Table
I'm interested in the way
that Kate and Stephen interact.
I can't get my head to stop
thinking about you, Jonathan.
Why are you acting cocky round the
table? I'm voting Joe tonight.
It's not Joe, because I deliberately
sabotaged that final round.
..resulted in a banished knight
Stephen. Stephen.
I am, of course, as I have told you
all along, a Faithful. Ah!
..and it's checkmate
for either Kate, Lucy or Nick.
"If you see Claudia, you are safe.
"If you turn around and see the
Traitors, you have been murdered."
This is The Celebrity Traitors.
SINISTER CHORAL MUSIC
Ah! Can I hug you?
You may. Are you sure?
Congratulations, you are safe.
Thank you.
SINISTER CHORAL MUSIC CONTINUES
OWL HOOTS
Last night, the Traitors
murdered a Faithful face-to-face.
For either Lucy or Kate,
their time in the castle is over.
But who will be walking
into breakfast
and who is not coming back?
We must be first.
God, look how small the table is.
Ah! Ah!
That's depressing. That's sad.
But that does mean
I get first dibs on the croissants.
Poor old Stephen went.
I know, I'm so embarrassed.
Like So wrong.
How have we managed
to banish another Faithful?
We got rid of Stephen,
found out he's a Faithful.
You know, the numbers don't lie.
I think it's a combination
of they're doing a brilliant job,
and we're doing
the worst job in Traitors' history.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in!
Hello! Hello! Darling!
Oh! Hello! Yeah.
Of course you three are here.
Oh, what a gentleman.
Murdering face-to-face
was so harsh and so raw.
I feel like the Grim Reaper.
It's probably going to take
three votes now for someone to go.
But we must, actually,
honestly, the Faithfuls,
we've got to band together. Mm.
If you are a Faithful,
please follow me
because we've got to get
a majority of vote.
Celia, I will definitely follow you,
but I need some sort of
Guidance. ..theory,
based on a little bit of evidence.
The trouble is And you can't
keep just complimenting people,
then voting for them.
You've got to have a reason.
I know. Calm down.
My worry is, the Traitors
will warn each other.
Oh, I see. And I don't want to give
them time to warn each other.
There's so few of us now that
they'll be aware of everything
cos there'll be one of them
in every conversation.
So, who is it?
It's Jonathan, Nick, Lucy
and Kate can be murdered.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in!
Ah! Hello, Nick. Good morning!
Hello! Hello.
I thought you'd be murdered,
I'm not going to lie.
I'm so happy to see you, Nick.
Thanks, man. I mean, like, honestly,
I'm just so delighted to be here.
We've got the one
true Faithful back.
I feel really lucky
to have survived.
I mean, I'm just really keen
to see who has gone.
If it's Kate, that pretty much
confirms to me
my theory that Jonathan,
Lucy and Cat
are the Traitors.
So, last night
I had to walk to the chessboard,
stand in the middle and then that
Death figure Last night? Yeah!
What?! In the middle of the night,
genuinely, it was mad. What?
That's mad. And it said
on the letter, "If you turn around,
"and you're going to die, you will
see the Traitors and they will
"reveal themselves to you,
but it does mean you're murdered."
Oh, my God!
"Or if you turn around and you see
Claudia, then you know you're safe."
So the Traitors,
whoever they murdered,
did it to their face, then?
They did it to their face,
and so whoever has gone
That's cold. ..got to find out
who the Traitors were. That is cold.
Anyway, that's how it played out
and so it was quite thrilling.
God, Nick, how brave of you!
Well, I mean I mean it!
Thanks, Celia.
I think there's more Faithfuls
Here Here. And I agree with that.
I put it out there.
I'd love it if you came with me
on the Jonathan theory.
If I'm wrong, please
just vote me out tomorrow.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in. Come in.
Good morning! Jonathan!
Walking into breakfast,
I'm going to admit
that I know the heat's on me.
I know Joe's going to go for me,
but really I've just got to take it
as it comes, which is how I've
sort of played most of this game.
Do you want to tell Jonathan
Oh, you must have done the same?
In terms of, like, going down
and stood on the chessboard
and everything. Chessboard,
but I was thinking
I'm not going to talk about it.
Oh, OK. Oh, I see, yeah.
I just described it in full detail.
But then if there was a Traitor
in the group, they would have been
there anyway, so they may well have
witnessed us all going up there.
Oh, I see. Right, OK, yeah. Yes.
So it's Lucy or Kate.
Lucy or Kate are not coming back.
Oh, this is stressful, isn't it?
Lucy was convinced it's her, but
I think they've killed Kate. Yeah.
If she comes through that door, I'm
going to be like, "What the hell?"
If Kate comes through, I'm more
inclined to believe she's a Traitor.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in! Oh, that's a Lucy knock.
GASPS
Congratulations, you are safe.
Thank you.
Ah!
Oh, my God!
I was right! Oh!
Oh, my God!
Oh, I hope you feel terrible
about yourselves.
Lucy, you've been murdered.
Oh, my God!
I'm not happy with you at all.
"By order of the Traitors,
you have been murdered.
"Signed, the Traitors."
Oh, you've played this
really, really well.
I'm sorry, Lucy!
No, that's not good enough.
Bye, Lucy.
Bye. See ya! Wouldn't want to be ya!
I can't believe it was Cat!
I've totally
let my emotions cloud things
and not wanting to believe that
because I've built up
a friendship with somebody,
that they're not capable
of doing it.
And Alan! Oh!
Alan killed Paloma!
There was an element of, like,
real shock
and feeling quite betrayed,
and also, like, a relief.
I finally know who they are.
I can't believe it.
GASPS
Have you just been saying
I'm a Traitor?
Good morning, Kate.
Oh, my goodness, so Lucy's gone!
Lucy?
Oh, my God,
that has thrown everything.
VOICEOVER: I actually felt
really bad murdering Lucy.
I felt quite guilty
but it had to be done.
I think it's just going to
cause more chaos.
Well, this has blown it wide open.
All my theories are just
Nobody's pleased to see me!
We are pleased to see you.
We're confused.
Everybody looked really shocked.
I think now, those that are
suspicious of me being a Traitor
are even more suspicious.
Why does nobody trust me?
I don't trust anyone here.
And, secondly,
you don't come with a lot of ideas
or theories, so then I'm like,
"Oh, are you just waiting for
someone else to pick a theory,
"so that you as a
Traitor, potentially,
"could just jump on that one
and stay hidden?"
OK. They're the two bits of feedback
I'll give you.
I've been under attack quite a lot,
so I think maybe
I've been defending myself
so it hasn't looked like
I've been attacking, but
Can I say one thing, though?
Everyone's feeling paranoid.
In actual fact,
we're not feeling paranoid,
cos you feel paranoid if you think
people are after you, who aren't.
We are feeling people after us
cos they are.
Oh! I think I'm reasonably Oh
Good morning, everybody.
Morning! Good morning!
I hope you are enjoying
your breakfast.
You are getting so close
to the final
and winning money
for your chosen charity.
I tell you who isn't, though -
poor Lucy.
Brilliant Lucy was murdered
by the Traitors face-to-face.
Ooh!
I hope that hasn't
put you off balance.
I'll see you shortly
for your next mission.
"Off balance."
It's going to be something
where we have to balance well.
Oh, all right, Sherlock.
LAUGHTER
She literally said, "balance."
I'm glad you've started coming to
the table with theories now, Kate.
I'm so useless, I can't bear it!
LAUGHTER
I'm going to play badminton,
if anyone wants to play badminton.
Badminton!
Can I watch you play it badly?
Yeah, I mean
Oh, and it's also a bit windy.
That's going to be my excuse.
Big couch over here? Yeah.
Take a flick, like that. I'm very
confused now, Joe. So am I, mate.
I was adamant
Lucy had something to do with it.
My theory has been based
around Jonathan being the leader,
and his minions were Mark and Lucy.
I mean, yeah, great.
How wrong I was about Lucy.
I feel bad
cos I was pretty convinced
but, obviously, I was wrong.
So, that's kind of blown things
wide open for me a little bit.
I think we need to talk about
the chess game.
How the teams were selected. Didn't
you just randomise it, though?
I said we've got to randomise it
because if there's any Traitors
who have decided, "Oh, well,
"let's us go here or one there
or two there," I thought,
let's sort of try and blow that
out the water, at least,
in the first instance. We walked
onto the chessboard randomly
and if a Traitor looked at that
and there were too many,
two or even three of the Traitors
on one team, they would want to say,
"Let's arrange the teams
differently."
Well, that puts a target on my back
but, I mean, I am a Faithful.
But, like
I did find that strange. Yeah.
It was Nick who was uncomfortable
with the way the two teams
had been divided,
so that's a question
that's been playing around
in my mind.
This is
LAUGHS
Oh, my God! I can't do this.
I can't stand
and watch these two play!
But David's reading it wrong
because I was the one who said
I want us to change the teams,
because I was like,
"Why don't we put some intention
on our choice?" Yeah.
Today's plan is,
get round the Faithfuls,
see where they're at and then get
at least three others
to vote in the same way
and catch our first Traitor.
That Traitor is Jonathan,
in my eyes.
Joe and Cat,
will you come with me
if I vote for Jonathan tonight? Yes.
I haven't been able to shake him
from day one.
Let's make a pact, cos the thing
is, I think we daren't talk about it
too much cos I don't want
the Traitors to warn each other.
Do you think we're closer now
to getting a Traitor
to dob in a Traitor?
No. You know why? Why? Why would
they? We haven't got any of them.
Unless we get a Traitor,
they're obviously
presenting a united front, I think.
Do you think, though,
that if they see that the wind
is going in one person's direction
who is a Traitor? Cos they're
definitely jumping on bandwagons.
I guess my concern's
that everyone's got to pile on me
cos some people do think
I'm a Traitor, you know, they say,
"Well, you're not coming to the
table with it." But when you
came to the table and you were
really strong about Mark,
you were wrong.
I know, I know, I know.
But here's a way of looking at it.
Who have we been strong on
that we've been either steered away
from or persuaded away from?
The only one I was strong on
last night was Joe.
And I have problem with Joe.
And I was steered away from him.
Did you vote for Joe as well?
I voted for Joe. I just think that,
that front he puts on, you know,
always beware of someone
who keeps pushing someone else
forward strongly.
Why are you doing that
when you've got no proof?
I am so confused right now.
Nobody's trusting their gut any more
cos their gut keeps lying to them.
Nobody's trusting each other
any more
cos we're all lying to each other,
and I thought I would have
more clarity, but I don't.
I said, do you think
there's any hope at all
that a Traitor might dob in
a Traitor now and they might think,
"Well, we only need one Traitor to
win so therefore we'll dob them in"?
Who did you say that to?
Alan and Jonathan.
And what did they both say?
They both said, "Nonsense."
You could interpret that as
you were talking to two of 'em.
Yes, right. It's a possibility.
And they were actually answering
your question, but they were
answering it on behalf
They were telling each other
"We're not going to do that."
Oh, that's interesting. OK.
You all right, Alan? Yeah.
I'm still getting a lot of heat.
You're getting a bit more
than before. Mm.
Who are you going to go for?
I don't know yet. Who do you think?
Joe's not going to let go, is he?
I think it's got to be Joe.
Let's stick with Joe. Yeah.
I think Jonathan is on the ropes.
Joe's like a dog with a bone.
He won't let it go.
You've just got to hope
that he doesn't influence
any of the others
to go for Jonathan.
With the prize pot
currently sitting at £43,500,
in today's mission,
the Traitors and Faithful
must rely on each other
to bank more money.
It is actually bonkers,
this, isn't it? It's madness.
We've never been in a car together,
have we? No.
We can do plotting. Yeah, we can!
You any good at balancing?
I've got a little bit
of core strength. Really?
I've got a little bit
of core strength.
Kate said that she had a
conversation with you and Jonathan,
saying, "Oh, I think
round about now,
"maybe the Traitors will turn
on each other and vote 'em out."
You and Jonathan both said,
"No. No, no, no, no."
Then Joe's gone,
"Well, maybe you were talking
to two Traitors just then
and they've just told you." Oh!
Joe's really, like
Joe needs to go!
Celia, we don't ask you
often enough, I don't think,
but who do think it might be?
Darling, do you
really want the truth? Yes.
You know I'm dazzled by you.
You think it's me?
I don't want you then to think
I'm trouble and then kill me.
No, I'm
LAUGHTER
You know, seriously.
Jonathan's going to vote for Joe,
I'm going to vote for Joe. Yeah.
You vote for Joe as well.
I can't!
You can, cos once you've written
it on the board, that's three.
Let's get rid. But if he doesn't go,
he's coming for me.
There's going to be someone goes
out tonight who maybe only has
three votes, so only go for
who you think it is,
because it would be very easy
to tip it in one direction. I know.
No, no, no,
we've got to stick together.
Alan has stayed under the radar.
He sure has.
But also, can I say
someone else who has? Cat. Yes.
She's barely said two words. I know.
They're the two people who've stayed
under the radar most, who are left.
Alan and Cat. Yes.
And that does look suspicious.
Oh, God! Oh, no!
Have you seen that over there?
Wow! Oh, that's actually
quite scary.
That's going to wobble a load. Yeah.
Oh, no!
Players, who here loves heights?
This looks like hell. Oh, my God!
This is the bridge.
It's tall, it's big.
Unfortunately for you,
I've just got to be frank,
it's quite rickety. Urgh!
It's going to wobble like crazy.
All you have to do
is cross the bridge.
Charming.
Along the bridge are markers.
Each time you pass a marker,
£500 will be added to the prize pot.
If you fall off the bridge,
you will only bank the money
earned up to that point.
To help you, though, this is lovely,
you'll be working in pairs.
One of you will cross the bridge
while the other will act as a guide.
But that's not all.
As you can see, suspended in the air
is a shield bag.
You must collect this bag
on your way across the bridge.
OK, I'm going to be honest
with you.
The bridge has not been finished.
So, you will have to throw this bag
to your partner.
If your guide catches the bag,
I add another £500
to the prize fund. Oh! OK.
So, if you all cross the bridge,
if you all collect the bag,
you could add a whopping
£10,000 to the prize fund.
Whoever catches a bag,
they then have a choice.
Choose a portrait
and put it in the shield frame,
and therefore protect
that person from murder.
They can choose themselves,
or any other player.
There is only one shield available
today, and that will belong
to whoever is in the shield frame
at the end of the mission.
Harness up
and then we'll chose the pairings.
I think everyone who's a Faithful
who doesn't have a shield
is worried about
being murdered tonight.
It's so close to the wire now.
We're all desperate to get a shield.
Let's see who's going first.
Oh, God. Oh, my goodness.
Alan. Yes!
Kate. Oh, come on!
Who's crossing and who's?
I'd like to do it.
Do you want to cross? Yeah.
All right. I'll do it.
So, Alan, you're going to cross
the bridge? Yes, I am.
Kate, you're going to be his guide.
I wanted to make the most of this
mission, so I said I'd do it.
I'm trying my hardest
to look like a Faithful.
Oh, God!
Alan, Kate, are you ready? Yes!
Oh, my God! OK.
OK, enormous luck!
Alan, cross the bridge!
Oh, look at him.
Oh, no, it's well wobbly!
That is so wobbly!
It is wobbly. Spread your weight.
Put your arms out!
Oh, no, no, no!
You can do it, Alan!
No! No! No!
It was terrifying.
It looked easy from down below,
but the way it wobbles
under your feet,
it's like you're on
top of a skyscraper.
Stop it now! Breathe!
You can do it! Look up!
No, no, no!
CELIA LAUGHS
Oh, darling boy!
We're never going to make the
Round Table if you take this long.
Aargh!
Lean a bit more to your left.
Aargh! Oh! It's all right, Alan.
You're nearly there!
No, I'm not, you liar!
Oh, no, there's this bit here.
Don't rush.
ALAN SQUEALS
How do I get over it? Slowly!
Aargh! Aah! Keep edging forward.
Aargh!
Oh! You're doing well! Shut up!
You're doing brilliantly!
I felt like I was at
sports day with the kids.
Well done!
But I fear that maybe,
like a kind of loving,
overbearing, willing mother,
I was putting him off.
Ah-ha-ha!
£500!
£500 banked! Yeah!
Oh, no! No, no, no!
Oh, I can't watch.
I can't watch.
His knees must be shaking
with the adrenaline.
Whoa Oh, no, no,
no! Well done!
Alan, you're halfway.
Oh!
Ooh! Wow! Wow!
Ha! Yes! Alan!
Has he got to
get the bag now?
Oh, no!
Our hero! That's going to be hard.
Oh! Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa. Alan!
Oh, my God!
I am not looking forward to this.
Yes!
Whoa, no! Yes! Yes!
Oh, no, this
You're doing so amazingly well,
Alan. You're there, you're there,
you're there. Well done, Alan.
£2,000 added!
Now, hang on. Get central.
If Kate catches it, another £500
will be added to the prize pot.
Here we go.
Got it! Yes! Yes!
Well done, Alan!
I mean, if she had dropped that sack
after me going all the way
across that rickety bridge, I would
have murdered her, in plain sight.
How does he get down?
There is only one way down.
Really? Really?!
Oh, my God! Oh, my God!
Woo! Yeah! Well done!
Alan! Alan, you're an absolute hero.
God, my testicles!
I feel like a winner and a eunuch!
LAUGHTER
We were an incredible pair.
I think I did help
to get him across.
However, you might talk to Alan and
he might say I drove him crackers!
That bag means that you now can
protect a player from murder.
You can choose any player,
including yourself.
No discussion, off you go.
There's not many of us left.
The final is in touching distance.
I could really do with a shield
on this one.
I think it's got to be Alan.
Oh, Kate!
You earned it. Ah!
I thought there's absolutely
no way I can keep this shield
for myself because he has
flippin' earned that shield.
OK, here we go.
Jonathan. Oh! Ha-ha!
Nick. Nick!
OK, so who's doing which role?
I'll walk the plank.
That was a scary-looking mission
and I kind of didn't
really want to try it.
If Nick wants to do it,
great, let's do it.
Good luck, Nick, cross the bridge.
Ooh! Oh!
Marvellous, very balletic.
I've done quite a lot of work
on, like, wires in, like, TV
and theatre and film,
and I get a real thrill out of it.
You're like a cat! A very,
very agile one with great balance.
It's the Alan Carr textbook.
He's copying me.
£500 added.
Well done!
Slowly now.
It's going to get wobblier.
Whoa!
And now slowly over.
Perfect! Well done!
Well done!
It was like he hadn't even
touched the bridge. It didn't move.
He was just so elegant and gentle.
£1,000 added.
Oh, my God, you're doing great.
I didn't really have to do
anything difficult at all.
I just have to stand on a little
platform and watch someone
doing the hard work, which kind
of is how I like to live these days.
Grab the bag. £1,500 added.
He's now attempting
to get the shield bag.
Whoa! Well done!
£2,000.
OK, I'd better catch this now.
Oh! Yes! Yes! Woo! Yes!
Nick Mohammed! £2,500 added!
Whoa! Yeah, lovely! Woo!
Oh, look how cute he looks,
dangling there.
I love heights.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy.
Like, it was tricky to sort of
balance on the bridge,
but it was, yeah, it was thrilling
and I really enjoyed it.
But Jonathan now has
a big decision to make.
Oh!
Oi! Put that back! Put it back!
VOICEOVER: My face is replaced.
That's showbiz!
You know, one minute
you're front-page news
and then you're, you know,
fish and chip paper.
Oh! Oh, he's put you on.
You are shielded, Nick.
It was very easy for me to put
Nick's in because I just copied
what a Faithful had done
and Kate had done what they've all
been doing, really bad tactics,
I think, which is not to play for
the shields personally, but to treat
them as some kind of, like, honour
system that we're all really polite.
OK Celia.
Yeah!
Cat! Oh! Yeah! What a team!
I want to cross the bridge.
Yes, perfect. Yeah.
Oh, my goodness!
It was so scary.
To start, I didn't think
I was going to get on the bridge.
When I looked at it,
I really did not think
I was going to get through it.
Two pairs have gone over,
completely successfully.
You have added £5,000 to the pot.
Brilliant.
Now it's time for Cat and Celia.
Good luck, Cat, darling! Good luck,
Cat! Cat, cross this bridge!
It's actually fine.
It's actually fine. We're so fine.
It's literally fine.
You've got this, Cat! You're OK!
Um, what's my problem? OK, OK, OK.
We're right behind you!
I just didn't want to be
the person that
didn't get across the bridge
cos I'd be really embarrassed.
Yes! There we go!
It's fine, we're literally fine,
it's literally fine.
It's literally fine. Well done! It's
literally fine. It's literally fine.
It's literally fine.
It's literally fine. More steps!
CAT SCREAMS
It's OK!
Scream, let it out! Let it out! OK.
If you can, more in tune!
# Ah!# Better. There you go.
It's steep
and then it'll get flatter.
This is a horrible bit.
Stop mentioning steep.
But I think the first bit
looks really scary.
Yeah, well don't say it. Huh! Oh!
Maybe look up a wee bit, darling.
That's good.
And use your arms to balance you.
My bloody legs keep shaking and it's
ricketing the whole stupid bridge!
This is a new side to Cat,
I'm going to be honest.
But, you know, it must be
terrifying. Wh Woo! Woo!
My legs can't stop shaking!
It was very scary
being on that bridge.
I just didn't want to fall off it.
I just didn't want to fall,
so I had to just keep trying to
get my balance and keep breathing.
How did you do this, Nick?
What about me? I did it, too!
How did you do this, Alan and Nick?
Thank you.
Take a right leg
a large step
That's it! That's it.
Yes! You've done it!
Yes. You've done it.
I think it's good
with your legs apart like that.
LAUGHTER
Celia, like some PE teacher from
the '60s at an all-girls' school,
"Arms out, Cat. Legs akimbo!"
And then you'd look across to Cat
and she'd be like, "Aargh!"
"Aargh!"
£500! Yes!
£500 added.
Oh! You're all right,
you're all right, you're all right.
You're so close. Take your time.
SHRIEKS
You're all right.
I'm an adult, I'm an adult.
But you're an athlete as well, Cat.
You love this!
I love it!
Oh, no! Oh, no, Oh, no.
Come on, you've got this.
Yes! Whoa!
Ah! Oh! Don't say "Oh!"
Yay!
£1,000! Yeah!
Cat got halfway and then the
building confidence to the end,
and, obviously, a lot of that
was down to Celia giving words of
encouragement. You've got this, Cat!
£1,500! £1,500! So proud of you!
You're doing so well!
Oh. Oh! Oh!
Oh, my God! Woo! Bravo, Cat!
Put your foot on the red
and the money's safe!
£2,000! Yes! Yeah!
Ready, Celia?
Yes, darling.
Yes! Yay!
Well done, Celia.
You were amazing!
You did it and you loved it!
Bravo, you!
I could cry.
I was very, very proud of Cat.
In fact, I was rather thrilled
to be partnered with her,
cos I knew she'd be good.
Sorry, Nick.
Oh!
It has to be, doesn't it?
Oh! Yes! Yay!
Actually
No! No!
LAUGHTER
OK, Joe and David.
Who's going to do what?
What do you fancy? I'll do it, yeah.
You're crossing. And,
David, you're catching.
OK, Joe, cross the bridge.
You can do it!
Well, that went down a bit,
didn't it?
Oh, look at this.
Oh, I like the technique.
We can't even do it
when we're not on the bridge.
Knees bent, arms out.
He's got the giggles.
He's got the giggles.
I was starting to get a bit nervous.
I'm a little bit top heavy
and balance isn't really my strong
point.
Come up. Take your time.
This is nice. Yeah! Well done!
Brilliant, Joe, brilliant.
Thank you, David.
Yes! Yes! You've done it.
Yes! Look at him! Concentrate.
It's really wobbly in the middle.
Oh! Ooh! Oh, Joe!
I was hoping that Joe would fall,
not only cos it would be quite funny
to watch,
but that would have meant that Cat
would hold on to the shield.
Yes!
£1,000 added.
I can't believe he's got this far.
Woo-ha-ha!
Take your time, slow it down.
Stay focused.
Ooh! Yes!
Brilliant, well done. Woo!
David, you're really, like,
calming energy to me.
That's it. And I'm enjoying it
a lot. Take your time.
Careful, careful, careful.
Oh, the bag!
£1,500.
Careful! Almost there.
Yes! Well done. Yes! £2,000!
Yes! David caught it!
Well done! £10,000!
Oh, that's good! Wow!
Joe did a brilliant job
and he did it with all of the
kind of his normal humour.
Cat, you are currently shielded
from tonight's murder. Yes.
It is up to David
who gets the shield. Interesting.
What's he going to do?
Sorry! Oh!
He can put anybody on,
including himself.
Yes! Ah! Ah! Woo!
That's the right decision.
Got to be.
I'm buzzing to get this shield.
At this stage in the game,
the chances of getting murdered
are higher than ever,
so I'm going to sleep easy
with the shield tonight.
Players, congratulations.
You have added £10,000
to the prize fund. Woohoo!
So, today you tackled the bridge.
Next, you have to tackle
the Round Table,
where one of you will be banished.
I'll see you back at the castle.
Well done, guys.
We couldn't but wish each other well
on that mission.
That's the great thing. Yeah.
It is the great thing, but it's
also our biggest downfall, Celia.
I know. I know, I know.
Cos we seem to have been bonded
so strongly that we're then
so confused as to actually
looking out for Traitors. And with
each mission, it gets worse.
Well, Joe M's got a, shield. I know,
I wanted to kill him tonight.
What we going to do?
That means he's going to come for
Jonathan this Round Table
and tomorrow at Round Table,
he's going to come for me.
He hasn't said that
he thinks it's you,
but he's like,
"We need to look at everyone."
Cos it would be very difficult
for all three of us
to be able to get to the end.
Yeah, yeah. Because they're hungry
and they're going to start looking
at people they've never looked at.
I think the gloves are off.
Oh, is it lasagne? Oh, lovely.
Honestly. Look at that.
I think they're playing the chaos
game. The Traitors? Yeah.
That's why we haven't been
able to find them.
They've gone randomly. Yeah.
You know, with the
There's no rhyme or reason.
Ah. It's a tough one.
What makes me laugh,
I'm not talking out of turn,
David, he has all these theories
but where's the names?
He never mentions any names.
I might go with David tonight.
Does he?
See, David is the one
I'm most suspicious of.
I just want to have survived
long enough to see one Traitor go,
at least. Yeah. I think David's
going to bring me up at the table.
I know you're worried
but there's nothing to worry about
it taking fire, your name.
I don't know, cos I haven't
actually suspected David,
but because he has been
banging on about it a bit,
I'm like, "Oh, David,
give it a rest."
How are you feeling, David?
Are you all right?
Utterly confused. I know.
I think we're all a bit confused.
It feels like Jonathan's name
has been mentioned a fair bit.
I think we spend a lot of time
not talking about
what's occurred
round the Round Table. Yeah.
Not talking about what's occurred?
You know, we talk a lot
about theories.
Actually, that's true and
our theories are never right. Yeah.
How are you feeling
about the Round Table?
I'm going to try and stick to my
..original thought.
I do.
I thought he was the one
with the most chutzpah.
And I still think that.
And, actually,
I've got waylaid in-between
and I'm going back to it. Mm, yeah.
I just If we get rid
of another Faithful. I mean
No, I'm not sure
we've got another chance.
I think tonight is it.
But I'm afraid now,
supposing you're a Traitor
..you might warn
your other friends Mm
..that I was going
to vote for Jonathan.
That's what I worry about
and perhaps I shouldn't have
said that. You can trust me.
ALAN GIGGLES
Can I? Oh, you can!
But can I, though?
Oh, we've come this far!
I know, and I adore you but, Alan
What?
You're
..very clever. Oh! Very clever.
Well, no, I am, I can, er, I can
tell you now, I am a Faithful.
Well, you're bound to say that.
Why am I even bothering?
I don't know why Celia
all of a sudden is suspicious of me.
She never used to be suspicious.
We used to have a lovely chat
and she'd wink at me and go,
"Oh, Alan, I know
you're a Faithful."
And now she's, like,
dropping the T-bomb.
We should talk games cos this is the
last chance we get before we go in.
Anyone changed their mind? Anyone
want to say who they're thinking of?
Anyone would like to play a trick
and try and confuse someone?
I feel like David is still
suspicious of me
suggesting that we should
randomise the groups.
Oh, was he asking you
more about that? Yeah, he was,
and it's fair enough and I do
It was suspicious.
I think David is still
suspicious of me.
I think you might still be
suspicious of me a bit, Nick?
I'll be honest, it's just
I just feel it's wide open now.
I can't see it's Celia.
Could be Alan.
Cos we all looked away
from the Paloma thing very quickly.
It could be Alan.
You've made me nervous now
about Alan.
Last night, I went,
"Oh, Alan, you'll sleep well,"
and he turned round to me,
he was like, "What? Why?"
And I went,
"Cos you've got a shield."
He went, "Have I?" Oh, yeah.
And now I'm thinking, did he forget
cos he doesn't need one?
You wouldn't forget.
But as a Faithful, I would not
forget if I'd got a shield.
I'm like, "Right, I'm sorted."
I'm still here, Cat's still here,
Alan's still here.
We are playing this as a team,
but, you know, we do need to mention
each other's names or else
we're going to come under suspicion.
It's very difficult.
They're all very independent
thinkers. I think tonight
we're going to see people
going much more with their gut.
The players are about
to enter the Round Table.
With five defeats behind them, they
are desperate to catch a Traitor.
So, who will step up?
Who will take control?
Who will lead the hunt?
We're about to find out.
# When the chaos comes,
when the chaos goes#
Tonight, we've nothing to lose.
Throw caution to the wind
and catch ourselves a Traitor.
I'm going into the Round Table
with mixed emotions.
Jonathan's name
is on everyone's lips.
Me, him and Cat
have been Traitors forever,
but I just don't know
what I'm going to do.
Tonight, we have to get a Traitor.
We owe it to all the Faithful
who have been murdered,
been banished before us.
We really need to get it right.
We're two days away from the final,
so we have to.
Have they got my number at last?
But then, I've been here before.
Am I just being unnecessarily
worried about something?
Do I have a chance to survive?
Players, welcome back
to the Round Table.
Today, you added £10,000 to the pot.
Your current prize fund total,
then, is £53,500.
Faithful, so far, the Traitors
have got away with murder.
In this room right now,
you can change that.
The floor is yours.
OK, I'm going to start.
I'm going to share the names
that I've heard.
I've heard you, Jonathan.
I've heard you, David.
I've heard a little bit of Nick.
I don't think it's you, Nick.
I've also heard my name.
So, I don't know whether you want
to start by saying
if anybody thinks it's me,
so I could address that
before we then look
at the other names we've heard.
I'm suspicious about the way
conversations are deflected.
But I'm suspicious of everybody
cos at this point in the game,
with the level of failure,
we'd be crazy not to be suspicious.
Could I take the conversation in
a slightly different direction
Absolutely, please do.
..if I may? I just want to try
and think about clues.
I'm confused by the chess mission
and I'm confused why it was
that when the two teams
were selected,
that there was an intervention
by you, Nick, to change that.
You, Nick, said that we needed
to randomise the teams. Yeah.
But we were random. Yeah, no
Nick, before you answer that, I
think you're misremembering, David.
Just want to make sure. This might
throw myself under the bus.
I easily could be, yeah.
But it was actually Claudia who said
to us, are we happy with the teams?
Everyone agreed except me, who said,
"No, I want to be on a team
with a Traitor
"so I can keep an eye on 'em."
I just wanted to ruffle a few
feathers to see how people
would react,
to not just going along with it.
You say it's just to ruffle
a few feathers.
We've never been bothered
in the past with the idea
of just saying, "Here's two teams."
And how did that go for us
as Faithfuls?
Well, but we didn't know
how it would turn out
cos we hadn't played the game.
No, I mean, we'd never chosen teams
before, so my theory was,
well, that's not working.
The only thing I would say in my
defence, to have done that openly,
to have then kind of,
I don't know, colluded with Joe,
last minute and deliberately kind of
get the wrong answer,
and then for one of our team
to sort of make ourselves
sort of vulnerable,
I mean, just to sort of kill
one Faithful, you know,
if I were a Traitor,
it feels very sort of roundabout
and it was just genuinely
well-intentioned.
So, first time we're split into
two teams where only one team
was going to be protected
by shields.
That was different in that respect.
Alan, I just
I'd love to hear from you.
I haven't heard a huge amount
from you at Round Tables.
Oh! We've only just started, love.
Round Tables, plural.
Open up your lugholes.
You're telling me I don't speak?
Do you think I don't speak
at the Round Table?
No, I think you do speak. I guess
you haven't spoken much recently.
Well, you were very big on Mark.
What do you want me to say?
Well, I didn't say
I wanted you to say anything.
I said I'd quite like
to hear from you.
If you don't want to do that,
I'm not forcing you.
OK, so, for the
Just something I want to
Obviously, I have my suspicions
of you, David,
and I just found it weird,
you know, when it was between
you and Mark, you got five votes
and then those votes
just disappeared Yeah.
..for the next Round Table
and I wondered whether you
and your fellow Traitors
had done a bit of a
Gone round and
Because they just evaporated.
It almost felt like the Traitors,
cos I think there is three,
had said, "Let's just
get David off the hook,"
because I just You know,
it was like it had never happened.
I'm equally surprised.
Like you, I was expecting
to go at that Round Table. Yeah.
The thing is, it's make or break
tonight, seriously.
We have to get a Traitor out.
It's sad, but true.
We have to do it tonight.
No messing.
I think Celia's call for urgency
is really important.
If we banish a Faithful tonight,
and the Traitors kill tonight,
there will be six players,
three of whom will be Traitors,
which is catastrophically bad.
If there are three.
If there are three, but that's
been our working presumption.
I'd like to speak. Please.
I just wanted to just be honest
and that.
I'm a bit suspicious
of you, Jonathan.
Obviously, we've been kind of going
with this big dog theory.
What you were saying yesterday, Joe,
about looking at the clues
within the game,
especially the sort of
Ruth situation,
cos I know we were saying
it could be a double bluff?
So that's why I think
I was leaning towards Stephen,
but then obviously we found out
Stephen was a Faithful,
so I am then leaning towards you.
Look, it's a valid theory
but, you know, I would say I'm
prepared to take one for the team.
If I go, you haven't got much
of a team left. That's the thing.
But, I mean, if that's what
your feeling is, I am telling you,
you're not going to be pleased
with the end results.
I am going to vote for Jonathan,
as much as I'm bedazzled by him
and adore him.
I've thought it, then I went off it,
and I'm going to go with my gut.
Can I just say something
while we're on Jonathan?
You know I was suspicious
of Joe and, you know,
cos he's always there
planting the seed.
I know he has this quite weird
persona with his, you know,
the way he's Pot, kettle, mate.
Yeah, the way he stares at people,
but then I had a little bit
of a brainwave.
Say you two are the Traitors.
Because you're so OTT
Cos I see you. You're like this.
And you almost, like,
glaring at Jonathan like this
and, you know, you're like this.
And I thought,
is it so big that, actually,
you make it impossible to vote for
Jonathan because it's so out there?
Am I talking gibberish? No,
it's maybe a possible vote for me,
but I'm saying
I'm not in cahoots with Joe.
I was definitely going to go
for Joe and I made that clear,
and the only reason I didn't
was at the last minute,
I went back to someone who
I was suspicious of was Stephen,
and the only person really speaking
in defence of Stephen was Celia,
who is, of course,
completely wrong tonight.
Players, the time for talk is over.
Please write down the name of the
person you believe is a Traitor.
Oof!
Are the votes locked in? Yes. Yes.
Thank you.
Joe, we'll start with you.
Who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
Big Dog.
I can't shake my gut, mate.
I've gone with you.
Cat?
Er, my vote's for you, Jonathan.
Same as Joe.
Celia, who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
I'm going for Jonathan.
Your kindness blinds me.
However,
I'm going to stick with my gut.
Jonathan.
Well, I'm not entirely convinced,
but I'm going with David.
David, who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
I'm voting for Nick, I'm afraid.
You're either the ultimate Faithful,
or you're a brilliant Traitor.
So, a vote count.
Three for Jonathan,
one for David, one for Nick.
Nick, who do you believe
is a Traitor and why?
Er, Jonathan, I've reluctantly
voted for you.
Um, I really, really hope
that we're correct.
Alan?
After Niko, I promised myself
that I wouldn't follow the crowd
and be a sheep.
But that's why I feel so bad now,
cos I have done that
and I'm so sorry, Jonathan.
I had to go for it. Sorry.
Oh, God!
And for the final vote, Kate.
In for a penny, in for a pound.
I've gone for you, Jonathan.
I'm sorry.
Jonathan, you have received
the most votes.
Please come up here and join me.
Oh, no! Oh, no! No!
Jonathan, you have received
the most votes
and you are banished
from the castle.
Please now reveal, are you a
Faithful or are you a Traitor?
I've got no idea
what everyone's doing wrong.
I cannot believe
you've done it again.
I cannot believe that I'm standing
here for no good reason,
so I don't want to be rude,
but you're idiots.
ButI'm not judging
because it's fiendish,
so I'm not blaming the players,
I'm blaming the game.
I am now, and I have been
all through the game,
completely faithful
..to the Traitors! Yes! Oh!
CHEERING
Brilliant! Right to the end.
That was the most
ridiculous bow-out ever.
They got me. But I'm kind of
I'm kind of relieved and I'm glad
that Alan went for me as well.
You know, we've been Traitors
all the way through,
but I'm hoping that,
just out of honour
for the departed older member of the
family, they will stick together
and they will romp off to victory.
Players, you got one!
CHEERING
Well done. And you did it
just in the nick of time.
Because after tomorrow's
Round Table,
the banished players
will not reveal their true identity.
God!
You deserve to celebrate,
so I am throwing you a dinner party.
Stop it! Go, enjoy yourselves
and enormous congratulations.
You are all one step closer
to the final.
Oh! That was unbelievable!
It finally worked!
Ahh! Oh, we got one.
We've got a flippin' Traitor.
Well done. Well done.
Well done. Well done.
The Faithfuls have got
their first Traitor.
I feel very sad because
it's been me, Jonathan and Alan
this whole time but, unfortunately,
he just had so much heat on him,
it was time for him to go,
unfortunately.
It's all your snooping that did it.
It's sad having to, you know,
put his name down,
but it just got me off the hook.
But, yeah, there's a Jonathan Ross
hole in my turret.
A dinner party tonight? Now?
I've just had a lasagne.
Oh, my God! Carr's Bar, it's two
for one cos we're celebrating.
Celia! Well done, my darling.
A, for doing your brilliance
on the tight wire walk. Thank you.
But also for coming with me.
Yes. For Jonathan. Yes.
Very good indeed
to finally catch a Traitor.
Very relieved, but saddened
cos I adored Jonathan,
but I'm very glad
I stuck to my guns.
I'm absolutely buzzing.
It's so It's so good!
It has been so long. I went,
"Oh, my God, we're going to go
"the entire game
and we'll never find one."
Honestly, that's what I thought.
And he played it so well.
That was an unbelievable Yeah.
He had us fooled.
I'm safe tonight. I've got a shield.
So, I will sleep well
and tomorrow
..round two begins.
Oh!
It'd be too easy to just rest
on our laurels and not I know.
No, no, no. Is there anything
that was noticeable
in terms of reactions, or?
Cos usually what a Traitor does,
when they think
they've been rumbled,
their last vote will either be a
passing shot to a fellow Traitor
I think he rolled his eyes.
He went to David, didn't he? Yeah.
So, does that mean
he's Jonathan's Traitor mate?
I don't know.
Could be his Traitor mate.
Do you know what I mean? Mm-hm.
I'm also appalled at my thought,
but why don't we think
Alan might be?
See, Alan's clever
I think it was the, er, Paloma
Alan's sort of flown under the radar
because he is so adorable
and I'm completely hooked on him,
actually. Mm. Mm.
SIGHS
After a long and agonising wait,
the Faithful finally banished
a Traitor and Jonathan has gone.
That leaves Traitors Cat and Alan
to regroup,
and tonight's murder
isn't going to be easy,
as they're about to find out.
# Make me bleed
# Oh-oh, make me cry
# Still #
Oh, no!
Bog off!
"Traitors, tonight there will be
no secret meeting in the turret."
"Instead, you must murder in
plain sight at tonight's dinner."
"To do this, one Traitor must toast
the player you want to murder,
"whilst saying the words"
"'Parting is such sweet sorrow,'
followed by their name."
"You must do this
before the night is over."
# He eyes me like a Pisces
# When I am weak #
Oh, dear!
It's a great feeling, that.
It's a great feeling!
But he had me going at the end.
Oh! Right to the last minute.
JOE LAUGHS
Just need to figure out
how to speak to Alan
without making it too obvious.
Because Alan's got a loud voice.
Gives things away.
So, who voted for Jonathan tonight?
I think everyone bar you.
I think you're right.
It means Traitors voted
for their own.
This game is so It is brilliant.
I mean, it's brilliant. Yes.
..unbelievably hard.
ALAN: Shall we have a quick cup
of tea? I can make you a cup of tea
if you want.
I can't see you saying it.
It's really hard
to publicly murder someone.
Oh, God!
How the hell
are we going to do this?
What is it? Sweet sorrow? "Parting
is such sweet sorrow"? Yeah.
I've always got to do the dirty work
for these Traitors.
I'm surprised they haven't got me
up in that turret with a hoover,
doing some light dusting.
Why is it always me?!
