Trinity Blood (2005) s01e08 Episode Script
Silent Noise
1
I doze with you in front of the mirror,
with rouge fingertips
This hand unexpectedly showed weakness
and blocked your lips
I made a promise with you that day
And now we can't remember it
Why don't I have wings
to float in the sky,
like the wind,
like the clouds?
Why don't I have wings to sink
into the all-enveloping night,
like the stars,
like the moon? Ahh
The greatest cathedral in Barcelona
came crashing down yesterday.
Father Nightroad. Proceed
to the site immediately
and find out whether this was
a simple accident or an act of sabotage.
Umm I hate to disagree with you, but
Isn't His Holiness' uncle
visiting Rome very soon?
Is this incident really worthy
of AX attention? There's no proof
True.
The Vatican is arranging
the celebration
for Archbishop Alfonso's visit to Rome,
as well as extensive security,
which has left us with
a severe lack of help.
Just as you say, we can't spare
AX members for a case like this.
Which is precisely why I want
you to go, Father Nightroad.
Wait! Hold on!
That's precisely why.
Oh, that's precisely why
Bye for now!
Abel-kun!
Oh, Noelle-san!
Here you are!
Travel expenses!
T-this much?!
Make sure you keep
a detailed list, now!
Yes, yes!
I'll be careful!
Well, let's go!
Eh? Where to?
Isn't it obvious?! The city
of sun and passion! Barcelona!
Eh?!
Don't give me that!
You always waste travel expenses
on every business trip you go on,
plus you spent an insane amount
at Never Land Island the other day!
Not even Caterina-sama
can look the other way anymore!
She told me to keep tight reins
on you and your wallet on this trip!
Oh. So this is for two people
That's right!
What?! Outsiders aren't allowed here!
Umm! I'm from Rome,
and my name is Abel Nightroad-
You come to trash up the place?
Sorry
Incredible Such an
enormous building fell,
yet all the surrounded buildings
are practically unscathed
What's the likeliness
of foul play or terrorism?
Can't say for sure,
but it doesn't seem that way.
There's really nothing left
for you guys to do here.
Come get the report
from the station later tonight.
Until then, enjoy some food
and do some sightseeing or something.
Yeah
Do you think it'll end with them saying
it was the building's age?
Do you have something
against that, Abel-kun?
No, it's not like that.
Just, something bugs me.
What can possibly bug you?
You know they found
no signs of explosives,
or even anyone suspicious
lurking around the day of the incident.
Yeah. And no one's really claimed
responsibility for it or anything
Umm, Noelle-san!
Isn't that a tour map?!
How rude! I'm always
completely serious!
Abel-kun! Do you understand?!
We'll have to go back to Rome
tomorrow if the case gets closed!
Y-yeah, huh
"Yeah, huh?!"
It seems you don't understand
the gravity of the situation after all
W-what do you mean?
However hard I plan, we'll only
get to visit this many famous spots!
Eh?
Umm, Noelle-san. I don't quite
understand what you're saying.
In what way?
You're not saying, "Let's blow off
work and have fun," are you?
I am! Plus we have
a huge war chest for funds!
But I'm really not comfortable
with using job funds to have fun
But you heard
what that detective said!
"Go enjoy some food
and do some sightseeing!"
This isn't blowing off work!
It's a legitimate part of our joint
investigation with the local police!
- That's just selfish reasoning.
- But it is reasoning!
This is a rare chance, so quit being
so strict and let's have some fun!
Yeah
Sister Kate.
The report says the collapse
of the cathedral in Barcelona
was due to the building's age.
Is this correct?
Yes. However
Then have Crusnik and Mistress
return home at once.
Caterina-sama. There's, uhh,
one other strange bit of information
Wasn't this in a closed region?
A corporation recently used enormous
funds to buy this church's land.
I don't believe it's related to this
incident, but it bugs me somehow
Have you contacted Crusnik's team?
- Delicious!
- Umm, Noelle-san.
Haven't you had
a little too much?
- Excuse me!
- Coming!
Could I have some
of this sherry next?
Certainly!
What's wrong?!
You haven't eaten at all!
That's not good! This is part
of the investigation too, you know
No, how do I put this,
thanks to you, both my heart
and stomach are full today-
N- Noelle-san?!
- Abel-kun!
- Yes?!
I had fun today
N- Noelle-san?!
Say, Abel-kun
Yes?!
Do you like me?
Yes?!
Yes?!
Say, you're not going to ask me
how I feel about you?
I
Umm
Sorry! Do you have a minute?!
S-sure, Kate-san! It's all right!
No problem at all!
Eh? Sagrada Familia?
Oh, Domenech Pharmaceuticals?
Understood!
Dummy
Come on! Why do I have to go back?!
That's so mean!
You can't do undercover
investigation in your condition!
Why not?! If we split up
and investigate Sagrada Familia
and that what's-its-name
Pharmaceuticals,
we'd finish in no time flat!
Sheesh! You're such
a worrywart, Abel-kun!
You're too drunk I can handle
the investigation on my own.
Plus I'm already worried
about you as it is
- The same goes for me, too.
- Eh?
I'm always worrying
about you, you know
Come on, tell me.
Am I that untrustworthy?
It's not like that at all.
Of course I trust you.
I see! Then will you put
your faith in me, Abel-kun?!
Listen! We're through, if you
decide to come running back!
Yes, ma'am
Noelle-san! Contact me
right away if anything happens!
We're through, even if you
keep trying to contact me!
Yes, ma'am
Well, I'm off to Sagrada Familia.
You be careful, Noelle-san.
Dummy!
Why couldn't he have said,
"Well, I leave it to you," then?
So the company exists,
but really only in name
What an amazing place
Well, where should I enter from?
If there's something,
it'd be in there, huh?
Hello? Abel-kun?
Where are you at?
Noelle-san?
I'm at Sagrada Familia!
But are you all right?!
I didn't expect to hear from you!
Yeah. I just found out
something interesting.
Can you get here right away?
What do you mean,
"something interesting"?
Get a load of this.
The president of this Domenech
Pharmaceuticals company
It's a slick disguise,
but he's actually James Barrie!
What?!
It's true!
I found plans to renovate Sagrada
Familia written by Barrie himself!
But what would Barrie
be doing in this town?!
There's no way to know
without asking him ourselves.
Blood?!
James Barrie?!
What's going on, Abel-kun?!
What about Barrie?!
No, uhh
I'm glad you came, Father.
After all, I've spoiled a friend's
enjoyment of my beautiful melody
with the corpse
of a foolish old man.
Please, thoroughly enjoy
my performance tonight.
So it was you
who murdered Barrie?!
He made a grave breach of contract
in his business with us,
and paid the penalty for it.
That is all.
What are you talking about?!
Don't move!
I don't know who you are,
but I hereby place you under arrest
for the murder of Barrie!
My apologies. My name is Kampfer.
Isaak Fernand Von Kampfer.
Rosen Kreuz Orden, magus rank.
Also known as Panzer Magier.
Pleased to make your acquaintance.
The Rosen Kreuz Orden
Abel-kun?!
Hey, Abel-kun!
Urgh! Who's worrying who here?!
What is this doing here?!
Our Orden exists as
a business to assist people
who are discontent with the world
and seek to reform it.
Committing acts of terrorism,
in other words?
In this case, we hired
Barrie to develop a weapon
to satisfy a certain person's wishes.
And that's why you killed him?
Now that the weapon is complete,
he is no longer needed,
and we didn't lose any credibility.
You don't mean the art museum's
destruction was your doing?!
You're under arrest for murder
and destruction of public property!
Where is the weapon
that destroyed the museum?!
You're looking right at it.
Eh?
You mean it's the organ?!
Yes!
This is Professor Barrie's
finest masterpiece!
The Silent Noise System!
W-what the-?!
Stop playing this instant,
or I'll shoot!
I'm afraid I can't. This is
another part of our business
This is the wish of a client
who wants to see the silent noise
remove an entire town
at its maximum power level.
What?!
Hey! What's going on, Abel-kun?!
What is this shaking?!
Noelle-san! I'm alright!
Just get out! Get out of the city!
- Alright! Just- out- city!
Eh?! What are you saying?!
I can't really hear you!
Whoa! Abel-kun! Listen!
I found some major blueprints!
Forget the blueprints!
Just get out of there!
N- Noelle-san Run
You may sit there and meditate
on your powerlessness
as you listen to this melody
worthy of such a beautiful night!
I can't ever lose one again
That was my promise to her!
Nano-machines, Crusnik 02!
40% limit activation! Approved!
What the-?!
Stop it!
Kampfer!
Once again, a great many people
have died Father Nightroad.
Unfortunately, I have no time
to play with you now.
We have clients waiting.
Stop!
Let's meet again sometime,
Father Nightroad- no, Abel-sama
I know this will not remain forever
However, it's beautiful
Your eyes, hands,
and your warm smile
They're my treasure
It's hard to forget
I wish there was a solution
Don't spend your time in confusion
I'll turn back now and spread
My broken wings- still strong enough
to cross the ocean with
My broken wings- how far
should I go drifting in the wind
Higher and higher in the light
(My broken wings)
Still strong enough
to cross the ocean with
My broken wings- how far
should I go drifting in the wind
Across the sky,
just keep on flying
(What's falling from the sky
is not rain )
Overcount I. "The Belfry of Downfall"
With flames, we shall renew the world.
I doze with you in front of the mirror,
