cardiac arrest last night.
The staff
immediately administered
chest compressions.

soon afterwards.

like before.
But there's a big
difference here.

Up until recently,
these three had been
self-administering the common
ten-milligram ampules.
But last night,
they accidentally took
40 milligrams instead,
which means the concentration
was four times higher.

made his heart stop for longer.

and he would've come to

Once they were educated.
They quickly realized
just how horrible
their actions were that day.
And so they wanted
to try and make it right.
ANGEL'S NIGH
Kenta is convinced
an angel is protecting him
and that someday,
when it's his time,
they will take him
up to heaven.
That's why the three of them
stole his picture book,
cut out the angel,
and with the help
of a flashlight,
made one appear
inside of Kenta's room.

Well, boys, if there's anything
you want to add,

[ATSUSHI]
We didn't know just how sick
that little kid actually was.
Still, though.
Why did they use
such extreme measures
to make sure they wouldn't
be sent back home?
I'm able to answer that.
Before Kenta passes,
they wanted to make
an angel appear for him
in his final moments.

The three of them thought
as long as he sees one,
he'll be able to go peacefully.
And they couldn't be
discharged until then.

I figured if it helped lessen
Kenta's pain somehow,
I'd let them continue
getting away with it.
That was a big risk.
I know it was wrong, but
I felt like I was doing
something for Kenta.
By not exposing the truth,
I thought I could help him.

And my silence
only made things worse.
The fact is
