Though they kept the origin
of the paintings secret,
I dug a little deeper,
and what I realized
was that the paintings had all originated
from an organization
known as the Cranaff Syndicate.
I see. They were the ones
who caused the fire,
so they could get their dirty hands
on our father's paintings.
When we frame it like that,
everything comes together too perfectly.

- [both gasp]
it wasn't an accident that Dad was
I believe he was their primary target,
as it would have caused them
too much trouble
if your dad had been left alive.
[Ai] Those people are monsters.
[Rui] He was the target,
but you said our father is still alive.
What else do you know?

About a month after the fire,
that portrait over there,
along with a letter,

[intense music playing]

[henchmen grunting softly]

I've seen the real one up close,
so I'm certain of it.
Which means the reason Seguchi presented
it on such a scale

And so I suspected
that the painting might have had
a GPS tag attached from the jump.
Another hint was their security.
It was oddly thin,
which made it easy for us
to get in and escape.
Since Seguchi's behind bars now,
I wonder if the rest of the goons
in the Cranaff Syndicate
will get brought in.
If only they were that easy to beat.
It's a shame that they aren't.
