time for the weather report.
We've been experiencing
a heat wave recently,
and it's gonna be
another extremely hot day
for many areas across the
Hokuriku region.

[Isaki sighs]
[Isaki] The sun is blazing.
These should dry in no time.

some observations

I wanna look at,

bewildered right now.

I'm planning to
use the telescope
to look at the moon today.
You know, fiddling around
with equipment like this,
it's fun.
I've become fond of it.
[Isaki sighs contentedly]
Obviously, I still
can't sleep at night,
but lately I find myself
thinking a lot about cameras
and astrophotography,
like brainstorming
different methods to try
and other stuff like that.
So yeah, life is
pretty thrilling.
[gentle music]
I have an interview for
a part-time job tomorrow.
I hope they hire me.
But to be honest,
I have zero confidence.

I bombed an interview.

for over the summer.

so I wanted to try and take
one like it for myself.

explain having a parent
who gifts you fancy, high-end

Back when I was in grade school,
I begged my dad for a
handheld game console,
but I figured that just saying
"I wanna play video games"
wouldn't really cut it.
So I told him that
I wanted to use
the console's camera function
to go around playing
photographer,
which is what ultimately led
to him gifting me the camera.
My dad is the type to take
things to the extreme.
He sounds silly.
[Ganta] I think it's
because he feels bad
about the fact that my
mother isn't around anymore.
And that guilt
drives him to respond
too excessively to my needs.
That's why I don't wanna
mention needing money to my dad.

a schedule yet.

and the Rokkosaki Lighthouse.
And then finally
to the Mawaki Site.
[Yui] That's awfully ambitious.
Ganta's enthusiasm
has no bounds.
In any case,
I think it would be good
if you seriously considered
what's feasible and what's not,
especially with your
budgetary restraints.
Does it really cost
that much money?
Those places are far.
Taking trains and buses to get
there is tougher than you think.
Not to mention you'll be doing
long-exposure photography,
which means you'll need to
prepare a fair amount
of equipment, and you're
even starting from scratch
without camping gear, right?
[Ganta sighs]

Not having funding from the
school really hurt, huh?
I'll write up a list of all the
things you'll probably need.
You can use that to
recalculate the budget
during your break, okay?

to a nursing home.

permission to use it
for our training camp.
And it'll be available
all summer!
So we can cut costs
on travel and lodging,
and that'll save us
a ton of money!
Then for the food budget,
we can save even more money
by going to the supermarket
and doing our own cooking!
