and the kingdom
amongst his three sons.
Though there was plenty
of wealth and power to share,
the brothers
couldn't get along.
They went so far as to form
three opposing factions.
And after a bloodbath or two
they came to govern this land
using a parliamentary system.
That's how this city and its
Three Great Houses were born.
Things are way less
bloody these days,
but the resentment lingers.
[VELTOL] That seal has held
strong for 500 years
due to a feud?
