[narrator] Helck learns of
the dangers of the Awakening,
including that Cless is
being used against his will
to further a plan that
could destroy the kingdom.
However, Cless falls under the
control of the king's spell
and attacks Helck.
Just in the nick of time,
Alicia uses her
Hero Slayer blade
to put a stop to
Cless's rampage.
But then her sword falls
into the hands of Mikaros.
[electricity sizzling]
I'm going to
borrow this for now.
You have lost.
This is what happens
[sword stabbing]
[Helck groaning in pain]
when you
underestimate my power.
[Mikaros chuckling]
[Helck screaming in pain]
[opening theme]
[TRAITORS]
[dramatic fanfare]
[Helck screaming in pain]
[both gasp]
[Alicia groaning]
[Helck] Wh-what happened?
Pain is so intense!
I feel like I'm gonna pass out!
[Helck groaning]
[Mikaros chuckling]
I see luck must be
with you today.
That strike was meant
for your vitals.
Astonishing that you were
able to react in time.
Though I must say,
the power of the cursed
Hero Slayer is mighty.
All I did was pierce
your shoulder,
but it seems to have been
enough to prove incapacitating.

[Edil gasps]
And then of course, I'm sure
you saw how Mikaros moved.

[Alicia] He's a bit
of an oddball,

Trooper has joined our ranks.

Wow, he has so many
different skills.
And geez, just look

You've gotta be pretty exhausted
from all the fighting
we've been doing.
Take a quick break.

I've got way more stamina
than the average guy.

Besides, keeping busy
makes me feel at ease.

It seems like he

just prefers helping out

And well with the world we
live in, I'm glad he does.
It always gives me
peace of mind.
