investigating rumors
that somehow an artifact
from the Assyrian Empire
from a 1000 BCE wound up buried here
in the small German village
of Melk, but how?
Well, we must remember that theoh.

So why this village?
Well, the artifacts that we are pursuing
is reportedly related
to dreams and sleep.
And here in the village of
Melk, so the legend goes,
"No one has ever had a dream."
And cut! Okay, spooky stuff.

into the basement?

The crew came in last night to prep.
We all slept at the inn and
none of us had a dream.

Their perception defines their reality.

Okay. So in ordinary sleep,
we're in REM state,
which is like a dream
sleep 20% of the time.

including Mrs. Astolat,
locked in dream sleep,
but they're also all in sync.
Okay. Listen to the brainwaves.
[scanner beeping]

Like they're all having the same dream.
Or making the same dream.
As you know, I spent my youth
abroad in India, Africa,
and what you now call the Middle East.
There were many mystical traditions
in which a group of individual sleepers
would combine their energy
to create a single shared dreamscape.
So they're all one big dream generator?
- [Vikram] Uh-hmm.
- Or battery?
And we dare not break
Elaine's connection to the rest.
It could be fatal to her.
So I think I could wake them,
but it's not as simple as any sound.
The trick is, you generate a tone
that matches this, sync it
up, and then disrupt it.
We could use the radios from the cars

Alu's cultists built that artifact
to control the sleep
and dreams of others.
According to the Library,
it was broken up.
Its pieces hidden.

is a perfect trap for a nightmare demon.
When we find Reverie's Torque,
you must use it to wake these people.
Once it is rebuilt,
Alu will try to seize control.
If you don't control it, he will.
The temptation would be too great.
Which is why
