And I'm doing it alone.
[REX BARKS]
I agree with Rex.
We need to bring the cartel down.
And you need help.
[DRAMATIC PERCUSSION]
[SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]
JESSE: Well, if he says
he can't talk about it,
maybe we just wait until
he can. I don't know.
Someone tried to kill him.
No. Pull up the
international warrants list
and see if there are any with
a connect to Newfoundland.
- Okay.
- [PHONE RINGS]
Mark, hey. Did you find Rex?
MARK: Yeah. Uh yeah, I did.
And what was he was looking for?
I don't know! Uh,
whatever it was, he uh
He didn't find it.
I'm going to head back to
the station soon, but I
I've got Rex here in the
car with me. And um
he seems out of sorts because of Joe.
I'd like to drop him at your place.
- [SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]
- Uh okay, I can be there in 15.
Or you could give me the code.
Uh, oh sure, sure. Okay, 35359.
Great. I will drop him off and
see you at the office shortly.
Okay, thanks, Mark.
I'll have to obscure the
camera. She'll be watching.
Sarah.
What?
Jack Hudson?
- Is Jack here?
- I don't know!
[PHONE CHIMES]
[MARK SIGHS]
- CHARLIE: Track me. Find my stuff.
- [REX SNIFFS]
- You got me, pal?
- [REX WHINES]
Go find it.
[SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]
All right, let's go.
[REX BARKS]
[RUSTLING NOISE]
[SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]
- [REX YELPS]
- You got something?
Good job, partner.
[DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING]
[SARAH GASPS]
[CHARLIE GASPS]
[REX GRUNTS]
Sarah.
What is happening?
- Charlie!
- [THRILLING MUSIC]
Sarah. Hi.
[SARAH CRIES]
I don't understand.
I know.
I thought you were dead.
I didn't think I'd ever see you again.
It's okay.
How is this possible?
Charlie, what the hell ?
I saw an arrest warrant for Jack!
I know. I can explain later.
No! No no no.
[REX WHINES]
Charlie, it's been a year!
I know.
I know it's confusing, but I
I don't have time to explain.
- You have to trust me.
- Charlie.
I don't care what's going on.
I need you to explain.
I need you to explain it to me now.
- So who knew?
- Mark found out about an hour ago.
- Rex, you?
- [REX GRUNTS]
[REX GROANS]
Joe too, obviously.
It wasn't that I didn't
want to reach out.
Look, I have a hitman
trying to track me down,
so he can get his hands on this.
I didn't want to involve you.
Since when did I
become a wilting flower?
I'm just as trained to
deal with any of this.
[REX GRUNTS]
You're right.
I'm sorry.
What's the plan?
I need to see what Jack left me on this.
- [COMPUTER PINGS]
- Ah, it's all encrypted.
I shouldn't even try opening it.
I'm going to call Maria,
tell her we're bringing it to her now.
[PHONE DIALING]
[PHONE RINGING]
- MARLOWE: Mr. Hudson.
- [OMINOUS MUSIC]
- Who is this?
- MARLOWE: An employee of Mr. Galvin.
You have something that belongs to him.
Where are Maria and Jaco?
MARLOWE: Mr. Galvin
needs his money.
So I'll give you an hour to meet me
- and hand over the codes.
- Where do you want to meet?
MARLOWE: You can suggest
somewhere secluded
with a clear vantage point.
Witless Bay power lines.
MARLOWE: Make sure you
come alone, of course.
I want to talk to Maria.
[PHONE BEEPS]
[DRAMATIC MUSIC]
CHARLIE: I need
to go alone, Mark.
But I'm with Rex.
MARK: I'll be nearby and ready.
Say the word.
[CROW CAWING]
[BIRD TWEETING]
[GUN COCKING]
[OMINOUS MUSIC]
[SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]
Do you have what I'm looking for?
Yeah, it's all right here on the stick.
MARLOWE: Go get it. Get out!
Out, now.
You. You stay. You, go get it.
Ow!
Give it to her.
On the hood. Go.
Get to work.
Shouldn't take too long.
I heard she's very good with numbers.
[LAPTOP PINGS]
- Hurry up, Maria.
- MARIA: Okay, I'm trying.
MARLOWE: Go faster.
It's bleak here. Isn't it?
Chilly.
Big change from Belize,
although maybe you
appreciate the fresh air
after a year in that stuffy cell.
Yeah, we don't need to do the chitchat.
I'm happy to wait in silence.
You all right, kiddo?
[TUBE SNAPS]
[FLUID DRIPPING]
[LAPTOP TRILLING]
- Okay.
- [LAPTOP PINGS]
Okay. I'm in.
[COMPUTER TRILLING]
[LAPTOP TRILLING] [LAPTOP PINGS]
MARIA: That's it.
[LIQUID DRIPPING]
[LAPTOP PINGS]
Thank you for your service.
Put it in the back seat.
All right.
Now let him go.
Go ahead.
Go on.
[DRAMATIC MUSIC]
- JACO: Mom!
- MARIA: Jaco! Jaco!
- Let him go!
- No! No!!
No!
- Let him go!
- Mom!
MARLOWE: Get on the floor.
- [MARIA CRIES]
- Get on the floor!
If you follow me,
I will show you just how
much I dislike children.
[MARIA CRIES] MARIA: No!
No, no!!
Jaco!
No!
No.
JACO: Charlie!
[MARIA CRIES]
CHARLIE: The gunman
has taken Jaco.
They're headed west on
the Witless Bay Line.
[ENGINE ROARING]
[TENSE MUSIC]
[SUSPENSEFUL MUSIC]
There! There.
[ENGINE ROARING]
[CAR WARNING BEEP]
[SIRENS WAILING]
[REX GROWLS]
[REX SNARLING]
[SIRENS WAILING]
OFFICERS: Watch out!
Don't move, don't move!
Give me your hands!
Hands, hands let me see them!
[REX SNARLING]
- MARLOWE: Ughh!
- CHARLIE: Hands up!
Out!
You're under arrest!
MARIA: Jaco, I got
you! I got you!
You got him, Maria?
Cuff him.
Hey.
Jaco.
You're safe.
- It's over.
- It's not.
I cracked the accounts. I gave
Galvin access to everything.
Not before we made a copy.
They're checking the online
interaction now with Interpol.
Sarah took it down to the station.
They should be knocking
on Galvin's door as we speak.
[CHARLIE EXHALES]
Hey.
Good job, partner.
[UPLIFTING MUSIC]
[DISTANT SIREN WAILING]
CHARLIE: These officers
are from Interpol.
I've been assured that
you're going to be protected.
Jaco's going to be safe.
And you're going to be in a
city not that far from here.
I want you to come with us.
I'm sorry, pal.
My life's here.
But, when Galvin
and his crew are eliminated,
I'm going to come visit
you. Promise.
With the superpup?
CHARLIE: Yeah! Well, uh, maybe.
- Yes!
- [CHARLIE CHUCKLES]
Charlie. What am I
going to do without you?
Sometimes I wish that I
I just kept my mouth shut.
Jack would still be alive.
Hey, Jack would have done this
with or without you, all right?
And we did it.
He didn't die in vain.
[SOFT MUSIC]
Hope so.
Just take care of the kid.
[MARIA SIGHS]
[CHARLIE CLEARS THROAT]
Hmm!
I've heard much about you,
Charlie Hudson. You've been missed.
- Well, I'm excited to be back.
- We'll see.
You have to go through
the recertification process
to get your badge back.
There's a lot of hoops
to jump through still.
You were a dead man as
of yesterday, Hudson.
JESSE: Charlie! Charlie!
- Hey, Jesse.
- I thought We thought
Oh!
What?!
I have no words! I have no words!!
Lots to talk about.
- Yeah!
- That
I have a moustache now.
I like it. Looks good!
[THEY CHUCKLE]
You should go see Joe.
Come on, pal.
[DISTANT SIREN]
MARK: There he is.
- Oh, my hero!
- CHARLIE: Ah, look at you.
Lying down on the job as usual.
Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes.
Sore bones and
sore head.
Sorry I got you into this.
I didn't want to get any
of you involved in this.
[SARAH SIGHS]
I know, this is complex.
Ooh.
Yeah, it is.
Um
I'm
so glad you're alive, but um
Sorry.
I think I just need to get some sleep.
Yeah.
Why don't we just, uh
- call it a day?
- Yup.
Okay. Come on, Rex, let's go.
[REX WHINES]
Or
You want to stay with Charlie?
[REX BARKS]
SARAH: Hey. You want
to come with me?
[SOFT MUSIC]
[CLOSING THEME MUSIC]
