Fisherman Haul or Skin 'Em All.
Humans have been
using fishing nets
in some form or another
for more than 10,000 years.
And even today,
they're still unwieldy
and hard to move around.
Which is exactly why we're
having teams deliver one
clear across town,
picking up a bucket of chum
along the way.
If they get on the right path,
it's about a half a mile away.
However, with a cumbersome
net like this,
they could get
caught up along the way.
Once they've made it
to the old port,
they can cast aside
their fishing net for a clue.
The Adriatic Sea is famous
for its rich diversity of fish,
including the monkfish,
which is commonly known here
as grdobina,
translating to "the ugly one."
But don't let the looks
deceive you, because this fish
is a real delicacy here.
This Detour requires teams
to prepare

for cooking.

- Yep, careful. Watch your step.
TAYLOR: Oh, my God.
It's so beautiful here.
[exhales sharply]
Okay, well, that sucks.
Sounds like they
had a gentleman's agreement.
TAYLOR:
The U-Turn board
truly makes me sick
to my stomach because
it's two male teams
targeting two women.
And it is
an active exclusion of women who
are just as strong
and just as capable.
It's always
women getting targeted.
Nowhere skin.
You need to pull out
all the skin.
SIMONE:
Okay.
She looks pretty good.
She looks
like she lost a few LBs.
You know what I'm saying?
She looking real whoa-whoa.
She looking
like she ready for the summer.
- You know?
- JACK: Okay.
If we don't get it this time,
we do the other one.
HANNAH: Also, in anatomy,
sometimes it's helpful for us
to, like, put our thumb in
and kind of create that divide.
- SIMONE: Okay.
- HANNAH: Yeah.
- And then I'm gonna clean all that skin off.
- New one.
New one? Hannah, I'm sorry. I--
Okay, let's--
Should we do the other one?
- HANNAH: Yeah, let's just do the other one.
- SIMONE: Wait, okay
- We're switching Detours. Yeah.
- We're switching Detours.
I could not figure out
for the life of me.
- HANNAH: Okay, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- SIMONE: Okay.
Okay, let's ask people
where it is.
Excuse us. Can you help us?
KRISTINE:
We tried very hard.
Bleeding on my gloves.
- Yay. Thank you, thank you
- Thank you, thank you
Check.
Check, sir.
- Yes, better.
- Better?
- Better.
- Let's go, baby.
Yeah, just pull it out.
- Let's go. Yes!
- Yes, thank you.
"Caution: Double U-Turn ahead."
Oh, shoot.
- HANNAH: Is it not working?
- WOMAN: Oh, no.
- I'm sorry.
- Okay, no, that's okay.
- Thank you, though.
- SIMONE: Thank you, thank you.
Uh
Here, Hannah, Hannah.
Um, excuse me? Um, English?
Buza Bar. Bye! Thank you!
- Maps, maps.
- Jack and Chelsie just got it.
Okay.
Oh, God.
Should we go back, or no?
- Uh
- 'Cause we're not finding this.
Okay, yeah, let's go back.
Okay, we're gonna go back.
We're gonna go back.
We were the last team there.
We're back.
Can we please
do another demonstration?
I was feeling discouraged.
Like, "Okay,
we're definitely in last place."
Oh, my gosh.
And we're just
trying not to be eliminated.
- I'm sorry. I don't know what I'm doing.
- That's okay.
Do you want to travel around
the world on The Amazing Race?
You think you have
what it takes to win?
If so, go to cbs.com/casting
and apply now.
SIMONE: I really need
to get my act together.
- HANNAH: Keep going, keep going.
- I'm trying, I'm trying
HANNAH: No, I know
you are. I know you are.
- And you're doing a great job.
- Okay.
I got this part off the filet.
- Great.
- Okay, so now cut over there.
Up, up.
Up as high as you can.
SIMONE:
This one is, like
[meows]
HANNAH:
There's an art to this.
- It requires precision.
- SIMONE: Yeah.
- ERIC: It's this way, dude.
- TUCKER: This is the gate.
ERIC:
Tuck, Tuck, it's right here.
- So right by. Roadblock.
- TUCKER: Roadblock.
"Who feels like
everything is going downhill?"
- Me. Let's do it.
- Tucker does.
Get set.
- Go.
- [air horn blows]
KEOGHAN: This Roadblock
gives teams a chance
to race onkaric,
a Croatian kart,
one of eight events in this
city's annual street games.
Taking part is a no-brainer.
All you have to do is assemble
this simple racing machine,
and then head downhill.
If teams can complete the course
in 36 seconds or less,
they'll win a clue.
Let's go.
TUCKER: "Choose any
available workstation."
ERIC:
Right here.
- TUCKER: Where's the example?
- ERIC: Oh, Tuck.
This is a finished kart
right here.
- TUCKER: That's it?
- Just go build it.
Sweet.
ERIC:
Let's go, Tuck.
- TUCKER: Okay.
- You got it, Tuck.
TUCKER:
Yup. Washer,
plank, that thing.
The Roadblock
was building this little
racing kart out of wood
and these little bearings.
This thing goes on the back.
Screw, screw.
And, um, I'm an artist at heart,
and I've built
a million things and had,
like, 12 apartments
in New York City,
so I just
wanted to do it.
I was confident
in my ability to build it.
And it looks very simple
at first.
Feel like
I can fly through this.
I build
a lot of stuff back home.
One, two
All right, cool.
Okay.
Did it backwards. Son of a
But I realized I was wrong
pretty quickly.
[groans]
Put this on backwards.
Classic.
HANNAH:
Thank you for your patience.
- Thank you for your patience.
- Thank you.
Thank you. Oh.
- The fish is okay.
- Okay.
You got better.
- Thank you so much.
- Now, you do better, I think.
- Oh, yay. Thank you so much, Marco.
- Yay. Thank you so much, Marco.
- Thank you.
- Oh, my God.
- Thank you, Marco. Okay.
- Run.
- "Caution: Double U-Turn ahead."
- "Double U-Turn ahead."
- Oh, someone's gonna U-Turn us.
- Yeah.
PAIGE:
Here.
- Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Buza Bar. This is Buza Bar.
- IZZY: Okay, let's go.
- Hi.
We're looking for a clue.
You wouldn't have one of those,
by any chance, would you?
IZZY:
It said "Double U-Turn ahead,"
- which means we would see the board.
- "Caution: Double U-Turn."
IZZY: Hopefully, others
are just as confused.
RUBINA:
Buza Bar's just down that way?
KRISTINE: I need to--
We need to ask somebody.
- You want to ask somebody right now?
- Yeah.
- [sighs] - Do any of you guys
have a phone we can borrow?
A phone
that we can get directions.
Oh, man.
CHELSIE: Jag and Jas
U-Turned Izzy and Paige.
Joseph and Adam
U-Turned Kristine and Rubina.
- Hey! Okay.
- All right. All right.
It's not us, so we're good.
- It's Big Brotherhouse stuff.
- [laughs]
Let's go. Come on.
RUBINA: This is the
street. This is the street.
- "Double U-Turn ahead."
- It's not gonna be us.
IZZY:
Is there another Buza Bar
- somewhere?
- WOMAN: Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, okay.
Where's the other Buza Bar?
We just stay to the right?
Thank you.
- Looks like there's another Buza Bar.
- Oh, my God, baby.
PAIGE:
Baby, I love you no matter what.
RUBINA: This way.
KRISTINE: Okay.
Buza Bar.
Yes.
- [sighs]
- We got Double U-Turned.
BOTH:
Joseph and Adam U-Turned us.
I'm still in disbelief
- seeing our faces on that board.
- I know.
- That was weird.
- Like, I cannot.
What? Why?
We look cute in the picture.
I'll give us that.
At least we look cute.
- I can't believe it, but I can.
- It's fine.
They obviously see us
as competition.
RUBINA:
Yeah. You know what,
you see us as a threat?
Fine. You're right.
Flat part's gonna be up.
All right, all right, all right.
JAG: This way. This
is right. Oh, yeah.
- Yup.
- TUCKER: That's at the top, one on each side.
Put 'em in that way.
Flat part up.
[sighs] Flat part up.
"Who feels like
everything's going downhill?"
- I should.
- He's gonna do it.
- JAG: Let's go.
- JAS: Where is it?
Right here? Finished example
- right here.
- Adam, you got this.
- Come on.
- JAS: They're coming.
They're coming.
NATALIE:
Let's do it.
You have to build something
and then race down.
- Go, go, go, go. Keep going.
- NATALIE: It's over here.
- JAS: This way.
- NATALIE: Guys, fast.
- ADAM: Oh, my God.
- [panting]
NATALIE:
Do you want to build
- or you want me to build? You want to
- It's building.
- Joseph, take it.
- I'll take it.
Okay, I'm doing it.
I have to build.
- How we doing, Taylor? I'm right on you.
- This way.
KYLAND: We heard that the boy
teams had, like, a gentleman's agreement,
so unfortunately the guys,
looks like they U-Turned
two of the girl-girl teams.
ERIC:
Being a nonparticipant,
I was just, you know,
waiting for these teams
to come down.
And then all of a sudden,
I saw Kyland and Taylor
run up, um,
and they were talking
about how they think that
the all-guy teams have, uh,
some "gentlemen's agreement."
And so it seems like
Kyland and Taylor
are kind of gunning
for me and Tucker,
Jas and Jag and Joseph and Adam.
Don't want to build?
- You build. I'm
- All right, I'm building.
- JAS: You guys didn't use the U-Turn?
- ERIC: Nah.
[panting]
- That's crazy.
- Yeah, we just figured,
you know, we're in first place.
Like, we already
probably have a target.
Dude, so,
I was here, Kyland and Taylor
were running up.
ERIC:
And they didn't see me.
And they were like,
"It looks like the guys
had a gentleman's agreement.
Like, they're not
going after the guys' teams."
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
So, like, it looks like they're,
like, gunning for us both.
JAS:
That information from Eric,
that just
kind of indicates to us
that Kyland and Taylor
might end up
taking a shot at us.
They're gunning for us, dude.
That will help inform
our decisions
- moving forward.
- They didn't see me.
They said this right here.
That's crazy.
TAYLOR:
You got this, baby.
KYLAND:
Okay, let me try this.
- TUCKER: That doesn't
- KYLAND: Where's the example?
What the hell?
- TUCKER: That makes sense.
- KYLAND: Right in front of me.
TUCKER: They caught up, but
a lot of the screws look the same,
and they all go
in specific places.
And you don't know
unless you build it,
which one goes where.
[sighs]
Those are definitely right, now.
When you look
in your little toolbox,
you had about
six or eight
screws that went in,
and two of 'em
were longer than the others.
- [sighs]
- And after
putting them in and getting
a couple further steps down
Oh, duh.
TUCKER: I realized they
were not in the right spot,
'cause you didn't have
any directions. So I had
to take it apart a few times.
Damn, that's a pain in the ass.
That's gonna be something
people will mess up.
This is very meticulous.
But everything's great.
Everything's fine.
[sighs] What screw is that?
Oh, my gosh.
We're struggling today.
Oh, Hannah,
this must be Buza Bar.
- Oh, where?
- Where is the second Buza?
Okay, that's a sign.
- PAIGE: Buza Bar.
- IZZY: Nice.
Oh, my God. I'm a little scared.
Oh.
Wait, wait.
Oh, my God.
- Are we U-Turned?
- PAIGE: Yeah.
IZZY:
Surprise. Jag and beeping Jas.
- All right, let's go.
- What losers.
You threatened little boys.
- Jas and Jag U-Turned us.
- Oh, my God.
- So, we're gonna go do the other thing.
- Not the people that probably
- can run and beat them at the end.
- Let's
Hey, let's get it together.
I want to be
a little angry right now.
- Jas and Jag U-Turned us.
- Oh, my God.
- So, we're gonna go do the other thing.
- Not the people that probably
- can run and beat them at the end.
- Let's
Hey, let's get it together.
We don't know why
Jas and Jag are targeting us.
IZZY:
It is funny to U-Turn
people that you can outrun.
I'm sorry. I can't fake it.
PAIGE: You don't have to be
sorry. I love how real you are.
It's sort of a lame move.
PAIGE:
We got work to do. Let's work.
Let's work.
RUBINA:
I can see you're panicking.
KRISTINE: Because
everything looks the same.
I know, but we can't
do anything about that.
So we just need
to figure it out.
KRISTINE:
We need to go to West Harbor.
RUBINA:
Is there a way to get through?
- Oh, my God. [sighs]
- Dang it.
RUBINA:
This is rough.
This is the worst.
I don't get it.
JAS:
Okay, make sure.
- TUCKER: All right, that's basically done.
- JOSEPH: Okay.
Lock in that.
JAS:
Let's see what the hell this is.
Down up, down up. [vocalizing]
I need to calm down.
That one's upside down.
Okay, cool.
Hold on.
Oh, God. What's going on here?
TUCKER:
There we go. Got the kart done.
I can steer.
Get this helmet.
- So the Roadblock was two parts.
- Sweet.
Building this kart, and then
racing down a hill
with, like, three locals.
Oh, this is sick.
Whoo! Let's race.
And you had to do it
in a certain amount of time.
Sweet.
[laughs]
Ready?
TUCKER:
I'm ready.
On your marks, get set.
Go.
[air horn blows]
TUCKER: Whoo!
- Oh, they're racing.
- ADAM: That's loud.
- Who is that?
- ERIC: Tucker.
Let's go, Tuck.
Let's go.
Let's go, Tuck.
JAS: Yeah, they got it.
- Oh, let's go, Tucker!
- Nice job, Tucker.
- Yes! - JAS: Good job.
- ERIC: Whoo!
- Let's go!
- ERIC: Good job, buddy.
It's tough, dude. It's tough.
KEOGHAN:
The ancient fortress walls
of Dubrovnik
are anywhere
from five to 25 feet thick
and stand
up to eight stories high.
This is Fort Bokar,
the westernmost tower,
built to protect
the city's main entrance.
Today, it is the Pit Stop
for this leg of the race.
The last team to check in here
will be eliminated.
"Warning: last team to check in
will be eliminated."
TUCKER:
All right, cool, cool, cool.
- ERIC: All right, Fort Bokar.
- TUCKER: Let's go.
HANNAH: Buza Bar,
right here, right here.
SIMONE: You see it? Okay.
HANNAH: Wait, our picture
is not on the board.
SIMONE: Ah, yes!
Oh, my God. Thank the Lord.
Oh, my gosh.
- What the heck?
- HANNAH: Shout-out, Rubina.
SIMONE:
Hannah, we're still in this.
West Harbor.
- IZZY: Okay.
- PAIGE: Okay, that's the net. Then we have
to go elsewhere
to pick up the bucket of chum.
IZZY: Hello. [chuckles]
PAIGE:
We're gonna take one of these.
Yeah, you don't think
we're stealing?
- Okay.
- Okay.
Do you want to hold that?
How-how heavy is it?
Yeah, it's definitely heavy.
PAIGE:
The net is just so big
and so hard
to get close to your body.
Like this?
- Yeah, let's go.
- Are you doing that, baby?
- Yeah.
- Okay.
- Let's go back up.
- Oh, wait. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
PAIGE:
I don't know exactly
how much it weighed.
IZZY: I'm gonna drop
this. I'm dropping it.
PAIGE:
It was certainly a weight
that we could have managed
in another form.
IZZY:
Oh, my God, my arms are shot.
[sighs]
[grunts]
- You get it?
- Okay, yeah.
Hold on. I'm gonna grab
this little piece in the front.
Okay. Let's keep going.
I've got it. Let's go.
- Ready to go to the harbor?
- Yeah.
IZZY:
There they are.
I want to get out of this little
thing so they don't see us.
RUBINA:
Oh, they're there.
Oh, my God, they're not gonna
tell us where to go.
- No.
- RUBINA: No. We're not gonna ask you
- 'cause I know you're just gonna be
- IZZY: We love you.
- We're sorry.
- No, no, don't worry. We understand.
- We understand.
- We hate this, too.
PAIGE: Rubina looked me
right in the eye, and she said,
"We're not gonna ask you where
to go because the game is on."
We knew we were
at the back of the pack, and
we had two serious competitors
on our tail.
RUBINA: Come on,
let's just ask somebody.
Do you have a phone we could
borrow to look up directions?
Please and thank you?
It was hard, 'cause usually,
we would help each other out,
but, like,
- I was not about to ask.
- Yeah.
Like, we're neck and neck
in this, we both got U-Turned.
- Do your thing, you know?
- Sort of. Yeah. Right.
It's downstairs this way.
- Okay, well
- There's a little street right here.
- RUBINA: Okay.
- PAIGE: We're gonna survive this.
IZZY:
Yeah.
And then Jag and Jas
can't pretend to like us.
IZZY:
Can't wait to call them cowards.
JAG:
Okay, I'm almost done now.
Okay, let's see.
I used all the parts.
This seems good.
- CHELSIE: Is it up here?
- Right here. Let's go this way.
KYLAND: Yes, yes, yes, yes,
yes. Okay, that makes sense.
- Me? Okay.
- You do it.
Downhill might jack my knees up.
Okay, I just got to calm down.
KYLAND:
Okay, now we feel good.
There it is.
I love
putting something together.
And one thing I've learned--
when you are
assembling something,
usually things slide into place.
And if you're forcing things
into place,
then they're probably
not correct.
Uh
All the screws were
different lengths, and
one of the screws
wasn't going in all the way.
And once
your brain gets flustered,
you're gonna get confused,
and lose track
of what you've done.
[Cockney accent]:
I don't know what I'm doing.
I don't know what I'm doing.
[regular accent]: I honestly
was just panicking.
It needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat. [sniffles]
It needs to lay flat,
it needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat,
it needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat. It needs
to lay flat.
It's not laying flat
for me, either, Natalie.
NATALIE:
It needs to lay flat.
- How?
- The longest one in between these two.
The longest one
- goes all the way up.
- Goes all the way through.
Thank you.
All right,
I'm gonna get my helmet.
JOSEPH: Looks like
I have a mistake here.
The longest piece needs
to go all the way through,
which means
I have to undo this, of course.
I put a screw in the wrong spot,
and I need to undo it.
It's twisting with it.
I can't get this out.
I have this basically done,
and I'm seeing teams leave.
JAG:
Okay.
My kart is ready.
JOSEPH:
And I can't get this screw out.
This is not coming out.
It's not sticking out enough.
Okay. It's okay.
- Calm down, Nat.
- KYLAND: I know
this is the last thing.
Tightening. Yes.
I think we're good now.
I feel really good
about where we're at now.
Ow
Right as I hurt
my whole finger there.
Bolt. Bolt. Okay.
Helmet, elbow pad, gloves.
Ah, there we go.
It's already starting
to build the wrong way.
KYLAND:
Safety first.
Thank God I checked.
- Go.
- [air horn blows]
Come on, Jaga.
Come on, come on, come on.
[Taylor laughs]
JAS: Come on. Come on.
Come on. Come on.
Come on. Come on.
Come on. Come on, Jag.
- No.
- [Jag sighs]
JAS:
Of course.
- Okay.
- Come on.
- JAG: Oh, boy.
- JAS: What is he doing?
JACK:
He lost something.
- A part fell off.
- JAG: Oh, boy.
My kart started falling apart
at the end.
- STEPHANIE: He's got to rebuild it.
- JAS: Come on. You got this.
- Didn't make it.
- Okay.
- On the 36, okay?
- Perfect. Thank you.
I built it correctly.
Ooh.
But I was just hand-screwing
everything, so, I
- You didn't use a wrench?
- I did not use a wrench.
But there was a wrench,
and you didn't
There was a wrench that was
I was just in such a rush
to do this race,
but once I got off my kart
and picked it up, my kart was
literally just falling apart.
I'm gonna have
to find the rest of my parts
and rebuild my kart.
Oh, boy. All right,
I'm all over the place.
Uh-oh.
Ah.
- So stupid.
- Bro is a mess.
- Come on, you got this.
- I lost a bunch of bolts.
JOSEPH:
I can't get this out.
I'm losing so much time, man.
ADAM: Oh, my God.
What's taking them so long?
Oh, man.
- Come on, man. Ugh.
- NATALIE: Natalie, concentrate.
Use your brain!
This really sucks.
I'm I'm done.
JAG:
Um, okay.
I'm not seeing anything yet.
And I have no idea
where it could have fallen.
Please, come on.
Where are my bolts?
JOSEPH: There's no way to get
this out and build the kart.
NATALIE:
It's not this one.
All right, so this one's not
gonna go all the way through.
We are going to get it.
The screws
are different lengths.
How do you get this flat?
Come on.
We're rolling!
JAG:
My kart fell apart,
which is not good.
[panting]
Um
- Jag's thing fell apart.
- That's crazy.
Not seeing anything yet.
JAS: Well, I'm glad we're
running together now.
- Finally, you know?
- No, I know. [laughs]
Okay. Found one bolt
and a washer here.
So I have to retrace
all my steps. Here's another
washer right there.
JAS: I feel like we should
just continue to help each other.
- Exactly. Right.
- But if there's another U-Turn,
- we're just gonna We'll see.
- Oh, my. Mm, yeah.
- We'll see, right?
- We-we will see.
- Okay.
- JAS: It looks like he might have found it.
One, two, three, four.
Okay, I might have gotten
all my pieces, so I'm gonna go
back and tighten everything up.
- KYLAND: You got it, brother.
- That's one thing I did not do.
- Get set. Go.
- [air horn blows]
Go! Yes!
Come on, Kyland.
Let's go, let's go,
let's go, let's go!
Bring it on! Bring it on!
Bring it on! Bring it on!
Bring it on!
Whoo!
- Let's go!
- Whoo!
- Yes! Let's go. - Okay. Go! Go! Go!
- STEPHANIE: Good luck!
- Thank you so much!
- Come on, Nat.
-"Race on foot to the Pit Stop
-Pit Stop!
at the top of Fort Bokar
and find Phil on the mat."
- ERIC: Go.
- TUCKER: Yup. There.
- ERIC: Yup, this is it.
- TUCKER: Here we are.
Let's go, Phil.
Whoo!
- Boom.
- Boom, baby.
- Welcome to Dubrovnik.
- Thank you. - Thank you.
KEOGHAN: Tucker and
Eric, I am very pleased
to tell you that
you are team number one.
- Yeah!
- Let's go, baby.
- Let's get it, baby. Yes.
- Let's go.
I'm also pleased
to tell you that as the winners
of this leg of the race,
you have won $2,500 each.
- Let's go!
- Ah.
KEOGHAN: And you can
enjoy that after the race.
You decided not
to U-Turn anybody today?
- TUCKER: Yeah.
- ERIC: Yeah. Yeah, it was a close call.
If we're gonna get first,
it's already gonna
put a target on us, so,
didn't want
to double down on the target.
ERIC: We're right
where we want to be, we're sure
that that adds, you know,
a bigger target to our back,
but as long
as we keep racing our race,
we feel confident
that we can handle
whatever adversity
comes our way.
RUBINA:
Hi!
KRISTINE:
Let's make this efficient
so that it's all, like, in it.
- You know what I'm saying?
- Yeah.
- KRISTINE: I don't want it to keep falling.
- Yeah.
Oh, my God, it's so heavy.
- Let I should be in the back then.
- Okay.
Let me be in the back.
Let me get the heavier part.
Let's go over our backs.
[both grunting]
I think we just
need to go steady.
CHELSIE:
The big one's on the outside.
So maybe it's the small ones.
Maybe I got it wrong.
JAG: Good thing is,
I found all my pieces
that fell off during the race,
and that was what
I was really concerned about is,
'cause I was only two seconds
off from completing the race.
I have taken this on and off
a kabillion, jillion times.
When you think you got it,
you don't.
JAG:
This is a lot tighter.
- JOSEPH: This won't come off.
- JAG: Okay.
It's just not coming off.
- I don't know what to do.
- JAG: Let's see if I can do this.
Wait a damn minute.
Ah. Oh, my goodness, Nat.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
Is it Jag?
It's Jag.
JAS: Whoa. Don't slow
down. Come on, come on.
Come on! Come on! Come on!
Please, please, please,
please, please.
- Yeah!
- Yeah!
- JACK: Good job, brother! Let's go. Let's go.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
- ADAM: Oh, my God.
What's taking them so long?
"Race on foot to the Pit Stop."
- Fort Bokar. Let's ask someone.
- JAG: Yes.
- Wait a sec. [sighs]
- [Kyland sighs]
Kyland and Taylor,
I am pleased to tell you
that you're not one,
but you are two.
- [shrieks, laughs]
- Oh!
PAIGE: Yeah, the oyster bar
will be right in here.
IZZY: Okay.
- PAIGE: I see a waitress.
- IZZY: Yeah.
IZZY: Hello. I think
you have chum for us.
- PAIGE: Can we go?
- Thank you. Thank you for the chum.
Here we go.
Jag and Jas, I want you to know
I never followed you
on Instagram.
IZZY:
Yeah. I never liked y'all.
- Careful down these stairs.
- Thank you.
IZZY: We've got
several steps of stairs.
- PAIGE: I-I'm good.
- IZZY: Okay.
STEPHANIE:
God. This is gut-wrenching.
- Come on, Nat.
- [Adam sighs]
Our teams have been up
building those karts
- for a while.
- For a while. Yeah.
It's okay.
We're gonna get this.
We're gonna get this.
Let me try something.
I got to get creative,
so I grab a wooden block,
press it hard
against the screw
so that it doesn't move with me.
Yeah. I got it.
Thank God. Oh, my God.
I had to use the wooden block
to hold it.
Finally. This is why
I'm a white-collar guy.
Screw is out,
and I'm flying through.
I had it built
in the next three minutes.
I'm ready to race.
NATALIE:
Oh, my God.
- JOSEPH: We're moving, baby.
- NATALIE: Please, Lord.
CHELSIE: They got here
before me, but I can catch up.
JOSEPH: Still in the
game, baby. We're ready.
I'm feeling good
for my first attempt.
"Who feels like
everything's going downhill?"
- I can do it.
- You're handier than I am.
All right, here's the start.
Gonna get this done.
Get back in the race.
Good job, Natalie.
Keep it up, guys.
CHELSIE:
Hannah and Simone just arrived,
which is not good.
SIMONE:
Oh, my gosh. Okay. Um
But I'm almost done.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
ADAM:
Is he going? Oh, yes.
Come on, Joseph!
Go! Go!
Go! Come on!
Yes! Yes!
Come on! Come on!
[Joseph laughs]
JOSEPH: Let's go. Oh,
my God, Oh, my God.
Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me.
Joseph!
STEPHANIE:
Dude, where is Nat?
ADAM:
"The last team to check in
will be eliminated." Let's go.
I already have the directions.
Come on, come on.
Hannah, did you see Nat?
This really sucks.
Well, I tried.
SIMONE:
Taking it step by step.
SIMONE:
A two Interesting.
NATALIE:
It's not happening.
This is truly impossible.
CHELSIE:
Let's go, baby.
NATALIE:
It's not working.
SIMONE: I build my
own furniture back home,
and I've always just
had a little knack
for building blocks
since I was little.
I'm feeling like Steph should
have gotten this one.
I'm doing it, literally,
all over again.
CHELSIE:
Oh, it's gonna be fun. Whoo!
NATALIE:
Chelsie left. No way, bro.
I was starting to feel
really discouraged because
I was really worried about
letting my sister down.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
STEPHANIE:
That's Chelsie.
JACK: Let's go,
Chels! You've got this!
Let's go. Keep going!
Go! Go! Keep going! Keep going!
Go! Go! Go! Go!
Go! Go! Go!
Keep going! Keep going!
Aw.
KEOGHAN: Jag and Jas,
I'm pleased to tell you
that you're team number three
- on the podium again.
- Let's go.
IZZY:
Yes, this is it.
PAIGE:
There it is. The guy in orange.
IZZY:
Okay, the guy in orange. Yup.
We've got some chum
and net for you.
Okay, good one.
- All right. - Okay.
- Okay?
- Turn back? - Turn back in here?
- Good job. Good job, guys.
- Good job.
- Thank you.
Okay, I have something for you.
- Thank you so much.
- You're welcome.
- Thank you so, so much.
- Good luck. Good luck.
Wow. We really did not expect
to get Double U-Turned.
I'm gonna tell you right now.
- Both guy teams U-Turned the girls.
- Three.
RUBINA:
Okay, you're really threatened.
Whatever.
As long as we don't quit,
- I'll be proud of us, okay?
- Yeah.
RUBINA:
It was so frustrating.
I can't I can't even explain
how frustrating that was.
- RUBINA [laughs] This sucks.
- KRISTINE: It's coming apart.
It's falling out.
- Blood, sweat and tears.
- KRISTINE: This is nuts.
RUBINA:
Not giving up.
"We're not gonna quit"
is the only thing
that I remember saying.
Thanks. All right, let's go.
RUBINA: Man, remember how
we thought this day was gonna go?
IZZY:
Let's go.
"Find your next clue
at Ploce Gate."
Okay, I think we know
the direction we're going.
Okay. Good-good job.
- Good luck.
- Thank you so much. - Thanks.
NATALIE:
This is all messed-up.
One fits through, one doesn't.
SIMONE:
You got it, Natalie.
NATALIE: This is the only way
that it will work.
So what I can do is get it
as tight as possible,
and maybe
it'll flatten the board up.
I can't give up.
This is The Amazing Race.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
JACK:
Come on, Chels!
Let's go!
Come on!
Go!
JACK: She must have recognized
she didn't get it in 36 seconds,
so she just stopped
and went back up.
NATALIE:
Yup.
Oh, my goodness, Nat.
I know what I did wrong.
I didn't twist these in
so that the other two
on the end will go in.
I had it correct all along.
SIMONE:
Okay, wait. That's odd.
NATALIE:
Steph should have done this one.
I had it a while ago.
SIMONE:
Something's off. Um,
for some reason,
it just looks really tight.
All right,
I'm gonna give this a go.
Hope I didn't disappoint
my sister.
I've been here a while,
so I'm feeling nervous.
- PAIGE: There it is. I see it.
- IZZY: I'm jogging a little.
SIMONE:
Hey, guys. You got this.
PAIGE:
I got this Roadblock, okay?
- IZZY: Let's go.
- PAIGE: Back here. - Okay.
"Who's feeling like
everything's going downhill?"
Ironic, Amazing Race.
I am certainly feeling like
everything is going downhill.
RUBINA:
Okay. Come on, Pulan.
BOTH: "Travel on foot to find
your next clue at Ploce Gate."
- RUBINA: Let's hustle.
- KRISTINE: I'm going.
RUBINA: I know.
Aah! Ouch.
JACK: Where is
she? She's not getting
- around that corner fast enough.
- Oh, there's Nat, right?
- Yeah!
- Nat!
Nat, go!
- HANNAH: Good job! Good job!
- STEPHANIE: Go, Nat!
Oh, he ran over my finger.
- STEPHANIE: Didn't. D
- WOMAN: Sorry. Go again.
- Again?
- 36 seconds.
36 seconds? Let's go.
STEPHANIE:
Yeah, Nat, you got this!
That's my girl!
It's hard.
JACK:
This next one is gonna be it.
She's gonna get it.
- I can do it.
- I know you can do it.
Those pins--
those are interesting.
Okay, I'm just gonna work
on the front first.
I think this is the hard part.
SIMONE:
Something's not right, though.
- PAIGE: Okay.
- SIMONE: Hey, what I'm doing.
What am I doing?
BOTH: "Who feels like
everything's going downhill?"
We both do.
I'm gonna do this one.
ADAM:
Where are you, Phil?
Where are
those beautiful eyebrows?
Team number four.
- Yeah! [laughing]
- [laughing]
MAN:
Get set.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
JACK;
Come on, Chels.
Let's go, baby. You got this.
Keep going!
STEPHANIE:
Yeah, Nat. Let's go, let's go!
- JACK: Keep going!
- STEPHANIE: Come on!
- Whoo!
- JACK: Yes!
They got this. They got it.
- STEPHANIE: Come on, baby.
- JACK: They got it.
- They got this.
- STEPHANIE: Let's go, Nat!
Come on, Nat!
Push! Push!
Let's go! Let's go!
- I did it!
- STEPHANIE: Yes!
- NATALIE: I did it. I saw my time.
- STEPHANIE: Ooh! Yeah!
- I saw my time.
- Yeah, yeah. No, you did it.
- STEPHANIE: I'm so proud of you.
- CHELSIE: Dang it! One second!
"The last team to check in
will be eliminated."
- Okay.
- I got you. I got you. I got you.
- JACK: Ugh!
- Good luck, guys.
JACK:
She was one second off.
Aah! Let's go, Chels.
That goes there.
PAIGE:
I got a wrench
for my 16th birthday.
That is the tool that I use
most frequently in my work,
so, the building part felt
incredibly natural to me.
I can do this.
I use all sorts
of stuff like this
in my work all the time, so
I built my cat's cat tree,
so, it should be pretty simple.
SIMONE:
Paige, I'm so sorry.
Can I ask, did you use this
screw and this screw for this?
Or have you already
screwed it on from under?
I have not screwed it on
from under.
- This piece is just sitting here flat.
- Okay, gotcha.
PAIGE: I bet these are
different. That's all I know.
And you're screw
Okay, I see what you're saying.
PAIGE:
Simone was not U-Turned, um,
so, it was shocking to see her
so early
in the building process, still.
Um
PAIGE:
She looked a little lost,
and it was really hard for me
not to help her build that kart.
- SIMONE: Hey, Kristine.
- Yeah, it's so hard.
I know. Okay.
I know that it's down
to the wire.
Would we like
to help each other out?
I mean, I'm off.
- 'Cause
- I don't understand,
- like, phase one.
- No, me too. Same.
KRISTINE: Simone was still
building her kart, and she was
nowhere near done.
And I was stoked because
I just knew I would be able
to do it and do it quickly.
I know what I'm doing.
NATALIE:
Oh, we did it.
KEOGHAN:
Natalie and Stephanie,
you are officially
team number five.
- Yay!
- Yay!
Yay! Yay! Yay!
PAIGE:
Just tightening things down.
I want to go back and check
how tight
that middle one should be,
'cause I think
that's how you steer.
Um so maybe that one actually
shouldn't be all that tight.
Are those looking too big?
PAIGE: Okay, that's
everything, that's every piece.
I'm gonna go ride this thing.
I was exhausted
showing up to the Roadblock,
but I got my kart put together
fairly efficiently.
Good luck, Paige.
PAIGE:
And then it just
was a matter
of the racing element.
Chelsie,
what are you doing here?
Seeing Chelsie
at the starting line--
that's when I really started
to understand
how difficult
this was going to be.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
This is it, baby! Let's go.
IZZY:
Let's go, Paige!
Come on, Chels.
Oh, no.
She fell off.
JACK:
All right, come on.
Aw
IZZY:
Learning every time.
Learning every time.
I love you.
KRISTINE: I was staying
calm building the kart
because I do like
putting things together, so,
I knew I could do it.
Like, I didn't feel frazzled
or intimidated
by building something.
Yes, okay.
We're gonna ride this thing.
And I don't know.
I didn't feel pressure
because I knew
I still had to do the race.
So
[air horn blows]
JACK:
Let's go, baby.
Come on, baby.
Where's my girl?
RUBINA:
Yay! Yay! Yay!
IZZY:
Come on, baby. You got this.
RUBINA:
Come on, Pulan!
Let's go, Pulan!
You got it! Keep going!
Go! Go! Go!
- Oh.
- JACK: Damn it. This is a brutal one.
Do you see the time?
KRISTINE: Under 36 seconds.
RUBINA:
You can do this, Pulan.
KRISTINE:
Oh, my God.
- RUBINA: I know, I know.
- JACK: Let's go, Chels!
I'm trying!
Ugh.
She's gonna figure it out.
CHELSIE:
Building was hard for me,
but riding down the
cobblestone street was worse.
It was so difficult.
I can't get it.
- I started to get tired.
- JACK: Yeah.
- And discouraged.
- Yes.
[air horn blows]
JACK:
Go, Chels! Go!
JACK:
Let's go now. Come on.
Let's go, daughter.
Yes!
Come on!
Go!
Go! Go. Go, Chels, go! Go!
- JACK: Oh!
- RUBINA: Reset, Pulan. You can do this.
- CHELSIE: I can't get it.
- JACK: Come on, Chels.
CHELSIE:
I'm tired.
Growing up, I played basketball,
and he was always in the stands,
what he thinks,
coaching me, but he was really
yelling at me.
JACK: I'm just being a
dad. Sorry. I'll step back.
- So, but [laughs]
- Coaching, not yelling.
- No, you were yelling.
- It's different.
- [Izzy sighs]
- HANNAH: Oh, where is Simone?
Okay, I'm pretty confident
that this is right.
I think.
So, I'm gonna head down,
and here goes nothing. [laughs]
Two seconds. I can't get
those two seconds. Aah.
Watching your child struggle
is hard.
CHELSIE:
It's frustrating.
And when you start seeing
all the teams
- catching up
- CHELSIE: Hey, Simone.
SIMONE:
Hey, guys.
PAIGE:
Let's go, Simone.
you're like,
"Oh, shoot. Here we go."
- [air horn blows] - JACK:
Fourth quarter, beast mode.
Let's go.
Come on, girl!
Let's go!
Is that Simone?
JACK:
Stay on it!
HANNAH:
Yes, okay.
Simoney roney, you got this!
Go, Chels! Go!
- RUBINA: Doing great, Pulan!
- JACK: Go! Go! Go!
RUBINA:
You're doing great, Pulan!
Oh! Come on!
How close?
- One second.
- All right. Almost, almost.
- I'm tired.
- JACK: I know. We're still good.
- Let's go.
- Oh, man.
JACK:
It's a tough one.
- This is a tough one.
- IZZY: It is so hard to watch.
- JACK: Yeah, it is.
- IZZY: You got this, Paige!
PAIGE: I took my third ride,
and we didn't get it.
IZZY: Ooh, well,
this is a race, y'all.
PAIGE: And then I
turned around, and I went
straight back
to the starting line
with Chelsie and with Kristine
and Simone, as well.
- IZZY: Everyone's here.
- JACK: At this point, it's a matter of
who can get down this hill
in 36 seconds.
PAIGE:
And that's when I realized
HANNAH: They're all, like, neck and neck now.
- RUBINA: I know.
PAIGE:
that I was side by side
with everyone racing
to not be last.
- IZZY: Oh, this is crazy.
- RUBINA: This is the worst.
HANNAH:
It's-it's rough.
- IZZY: Oh, my God.
- HANNAH: I know.
- IZZY: Oh. Everyone's here.
- HANNAH: They're all,
- like, neck and neck now.
- RUBINA: I know.
[air horn blows]
IZZY:
Let's go, Paige!
HANNAH:
Come on, Simone, please.
IZZY:
Come on, baby!
JACK;
Come on, girl.
Come on.
There we go.
Let's go! Let's go!
Let's go! Last little piece.
JACK:
Come on! Come on!
CHELSIE:
Oh, my goodness.
- It's not fun.
- JACK: Ah, no! Let's go!
Come on, Chels!
- I've been here forever.
- SIMONE: Shoot, shoot, shoot.
My thing just completely
fell apart.
It's crazy.
- I can't get it.
- JACK: All right, this is it.
Let's go, Chels!
SIMONE: So I have to
now put it back together.
CHELSIE:
I'm just not making it in time.
I'm off by, like, two seconds.
- SIMONE: Oh, my gosh.
- JACK: Come on, Chels.
Brutal, brutal.
RUBINA: We're, like,
trauma-bonded, guys.
HANNAH:
This is hard.
I'm tired.
I wanted to give up so bad,
but when I was onBig Brother,
it was a mental battle
for over 90 days.
[air horn blows]
CHELSIE: And every single day,
I had to wake up
and remind myself,
why am I here?
JACK:
Let's go!
CHELSIE: I had to find a
reason that I was doing it.
And when I thought
about my siblings,
just seeing me fail, fail, fail,
but not give up,
that was the thing
that motivated me.
- IZZY: You got this, sweet thing!
- JACK: Let's go, Chels!
RUBINA:
Let's go! Let's go!
I'm just thankful that for now,
there are other teams
that are here.
- IZZY: Come on baby, push!
- RUBINA: You can do it!
- JACK: Come on, Chels!
- RUBINA: Yes!
JACK:
You're gonna get it, babe! Go!
Yes!
Yes! Yes!
Yes!
- Thank you.
- JACK: Yes, baby!
All right,
gonna give it another go.
- Great job, baby.
- HANNAH: Good job, Chelsie.
JACK:
I knew you were gonna get it.
CHELSIE:
Still kicking, still fighting.
She was hurting, she was tired,
but she kept pushing through it.
That's what the Bahams do.
We never give up.
IZZY:
I don't know. Oh, my God.
- [air horn blows]
- IZZY: Come on, Paige.
PAIGE: 36 seconds
was not a lot of time.
- IZZY: Let's go!
- RUBINA: Come on, Pulan!
IZZY:
Let's go!
PAIGE:
But the strategy wasn't about
slamming it out of the gate.
It was about slow, steady
progress around the turn,
and then gunning it
once you had made the turn.
IZZY:
Let's go faster, baby!
Push it! Push it!
HANNAH:
Come on, Simone! Keep going!
- IZZY: Yes, baby!
- RUBINA: It's okay, Pulan.
- I know you're tired.
- I love you, too.
RUBINA: I know you're
tired, Pulan. I know.
- I know it's hard. I'm so proud of you.
- [Kristine crying]
RUBINA: I'm so sorry.
I know you're tired.
- I know. I know. I'm so sorry.
- [crying]
RUBINA:
I don't want it to be like this.
I don't want to say goodbye.
"Last team to check in
will be eliminated."
- Okay.
- Okay, so we got to find Fort Bokar.
I am so proud of you.
- CHELSIE: Dad, this way.
- Yeah.
Jack and Chelsie
you have survived another leg
of this Amazing Race.
- [laughs]
- Yes.
And you're team number six.
Congratulations.
Yes, we moved up.
[air horn blows]
RUBINA: You got it, Pulan!
Let's go!
You got this!
You got it! Keep pushing!
Dig! Dig deep! Come on!
Come on! Come on! Dig! Dig! Dig!
Oh, my God.
KRISTINE: As soon as
Paige and Chelsie left,
and it was just me and Simone,
it was a lot of pressure
at that point.
Because we both, you know,
don't want to be eliminated.
It's down to the wire.
RUBINA:
I know it's hard!
Dig deep! Dig deep! Dig deep!
Come on! Come on!
It's okay, Pulan.
I know you're tired.
- Dig! Dig! Dig!
- [yelling]: Aah!
RUBINA:
You're so close.
Come on! Push! Push!
Push! Push! Push!
Aah!
RUBINA:
Pulan, it's okay.
KRISTINE: It just, like,
took everything out of me.
I was getting frustrated.
I was getting emotional.
[crying]:
It's so hard.
I'm so tired.
I'm so tired. [crying]
It was so hard to watch.
I know. Cry it out.
Are you okay?
HANNAH: Come on,
Simone. You can't give up.
Remember, this is supposed
to be fun.
Yeah.
- I'm so proud of you. - I'm
- KEOGHAN: Izzy and Paige,
you still managed to stay ahead
of the other teams.
- You are team number seven.
- Oh.
- Team seven.
- You will be racing in the next leg
- of this Amazing Race.
- Oh.
- Oh, my God.
- I'm so proud of you.
So let's go to, probably, the
lowest point in your day today,
which was you arrive
at the U-Turn board
and you suddenly find out
that you've been targeted.
- IZZY: Jag and Jas hate us.
- [laughs]
It's mutual, so we're not
really that concerned about it.
-PAIGE: Today's U-Turn
was a blessing because -Yeah.
we no longer have
to play the polite game.
- With all due respect to their game
- Mm-hmm.
we're ready
to come after them.
I wish there were
other teams here.
- Not us. You know?
- Me too. Me too.
KRISTINE:
I just want it to be over with.
RUBINA:
Push!
You can do this.
[crying]:
I feel so bad.
Oh, my God, this is so
HANNAH:
This is brutal.
I'm walking up the hill
over and over.
[air horn blows]
KRISTINE: And I didn't realize
how exhausting it would be.
RUBINA: You're a fighter!
You can do this! Keep fighting!
KRISTINE: I wasn't even
looking at the time anymore, but
I was noticing that I was
- getting further along than she was.
- RUBINA: Yeah.
So subconsciously, I was like,
"Anything is possible."
Please. Please. Please.
HANNAH:
Yeah, she got it.
She got it.
Did I get it?
WOMAN:
You got it. You got it.
- Congratulations. Congratulations.
- Thank you so much.
I know. I know.
I'm so proud of you.
- [crying]
- I know. I know.
I'm so proud of you.
KRISTINE:
That literally was the hardest
I've pushed myself and my body
my entire life.
"Race on foot to the Pit Stop
at the top of Fort Bokar."
- RUBINA: Oh, my God.
- HANNAH: Simone, that's okay.
- Keep going.
- RUBINA: I have everything.
- KRISTINE: Okay. Where is it?
- RUBINA: Fort Bokar.
Good job, guys!
It's been an honor!
- [Kristine mumbles]
- I love you!
RUBINA:
Oh, my God!
- We're still here!
- Cockroaches.
Kristine, that was unbelievably
tough out there today.
- Oh, my God.
- It was so hard.
It was the hardest thing
I ever had to do in my life.
Especially after
getting double U-Turned.
- We did not expect to see our face.
- KRISTINE: At all.
The fact that both teams who
were U-Turned are still in this.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Says a lot, so
- Does say a lot.
I really truly believe
we can do anything after this.
Inadvertently, the Double U-Turn
has given us more confidence.
- KRISTINE: Yes, definitely.
- RUBINA: I don't think
that's what Joseph
and Adam wanted.
Whatever happens next
in this race,
-the fact that we survived
this leg -Double U-Turn.
and we're going
into halfway point
- Yeah. Right.
- I'm so proud of us.
Like, you-you can't
bring us down
from this cloud we're on.
HANNAH:
Yeah! Let's go! Let's go!
Let's go! Keep pushing!
Keep pushing! Keep pushing!
Keep pushing! Keep pushing!
Keep pushing! No.
Okay.
SIMONE:

No one's U-Turned.
- Guys
- Go.
JAS:
We have all the power.
Let's use it.
- What do we think?
- STEPHANIE: Nat, let's go.
- We're not U-Turning. We want to keep racing.
- We're not U-Turning.
We have too much blood
on our hands.
Hey, Adam and Joseph.
"Travel on foot to find
your next clue at Ploce Gate."
Ploce Gate. Go.
Let's do Izzy and Paige.
- They're going against us.
- Go, go, uh
We just U-Turned Izzy and Paige.
We know that if they got
to the board first,
- they were gonna U-Turn us.
- And they're a strong team.
Izzy and I were on the same
season of Big Brothertogether.
She voted me out of the house.
I voted her out of the house.
We were hoping maybe we could
mend that relationship, but
we can tell that, you know,
they would rather work
with these other teams than us.
ADAM:
I'm so sorry.
We're so sorry, guys.
So, unfortunately, we're doing
Rubina and Kristine.
It's too hard in the race
for us to let this pass.
We like Izzy and Paige,
so we needed to give them
a lifeline.
Also, we absolutely adore
Hannah and Simone.
They're clearly allies,
so we had
to U-Turn Rubina and Kristine.
I'm sorry, Rubina and Kristine.
- Ploce Gate. Let's go.
- We know where Ploce Gate is.
That's where we got dropped off.
- Hurry, hurry, hurry.
- L-Let's just start moving.
[meowing]
More and more confident
as time goes.
- JACK: Yes.
- As we go through all this fish,
but there's
still a few people here.
RUBINA:
Doing good. We're doing good.
Get as close to the bone.
Just get as much
meat on there as possible.
That's all he cares about.
The other Detour
does seem easier.
Easier? Yeah.
Because you're getting it.
No, that's okay, Simone.
Look, look at that fine cut.
- Okay.
- MAN: Wonderful.
- IZZY: Yes, let's go, baby.
- Run.
PAIGE:
Thank you.
- Good job, Izzy and Paige.
- Good job, guys.
BOTH:
Buza Bar.
- Let's find someone.
- Let's go through there.
- TAYLOR: Careful, careful.
- Yep, careful. Watch your step.
TAYLOR: Oh, my God.
It's so beautiful here.
[exhales sharply]
Okay, well, that sucks.
Sounds like they
had a gentleman's agreement.
TAYLOR:
The U-Turn board
truly makes me sick
to my stomach because
it's two male teams
targeting two women.
And it is
an active exclusion of women who
are just as strong
and just as capable.
It's always
women getting targeted.
Nowhere skin.
You need to pull out
all the skin.
SIMONE:
Okay.
She looks pretty good.
She looks
like she lost a few LBs.
You know what I'm saying?
She looking real whoa-whoa.
She looking
like she ready for the summer.
- You know?
- JACK: Okay.
If we don't get it this time,
we do the other one.
HANNAH: Also, in anatomy,
sometimes it's helpful for us
to, like, put our thumb in
and kind of create that divide.
- SIMONE: Okay.
- HANNAH: Yeah.
- And then I'm gonna clean all that skin off.
- New one.
New one? Hannah, I'm sorry. I--
Okay, let's--
Should we do the other one?
- HANNAH: Yeah, let's just do the other one.
- SIMONE: Wait, okay
- We're switching Detours. Yeah.
- We're switching Detours.
I could not figure out
for the life of me.
- HANNAH: Okay, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- SIMONE: Okay.
Okay, let's ask people
where it is.
Excuse us. Can you help us?
KRISTINE:
We tried very hard.
Bleeding on my gloves.
- Yay. Thank you, thank you
- Thank you, thank you
Check.
Check, sir.
- Yes, better.
- Better?
- Better.
- Let's go, baby.
Yeah, just pull it out.
- Let's go. Yes!
- Yes, thank you.
"Caution: Double U-Turn ahead."
Oh, shoot.
- HANNAH: Is it not working?
- WOMAN: Oh, no.
- I'm sorry.
- Okay, no, that's okay.
- Thank you, though.
- SIMONE: Thank you, thank you.
Uh
Here, Hannah, Hannah.
Um, excuse me? Um, English?
Buza Bar. Bye! Thank you!
- Maps, maps.
- Jack and Chelsie just got it.
Okay.
Oh, God.
Should we go back, or no?
- Uh
- 'Cause we're not finding this.
Okay, yeah, let's go back.
Okay, we're gonna go back.
We're gonna go back.
We were the last team there.
We're back.
Can we please
do another demonstration?
I was feeling discouraged.
Like, "Okay,
we're definitely in last place."
Oh, my gosh.
And we're just
trying not to be eliminated.
- I'm sorry. I don't know what I'm doing.
- That's okay.
Do you want to travel around
the world on The Amazing Race?
You think you have
what it takes to win?
If so, go to cbs.com/casting
and apply now.
SIMONE: I really need
to get my act together.
- HANNAH: Keep going, keep going.
- I'm trying, I'm trying
HANNAH: No, I know
you are. I know you are.
- And you're doing a great job.
- Okay.
I got this part off the filet.
- Great.
- Okay, so now cut over there.
Up, up.
Up as high as you can.
SIMONE:
This one is, like
[meows]
HANNAH:
There's an art to this.
- It requires precision.
- SIMONE: Yeah.
- ERIC: It's this way, dude.
- TUCKER: This is the gate.
ERIC:
Tuck, Tuck, it's right here.
- So right by. Roadblock.
- TUCKER: Roadblock.
"Who feels like
everything is going downhill?"
- Me. Let's do it.
- Tucker does.
Get set.
- Go.
- [air horn blows]
KEOGHAN: This Roadblock
gives teams a chance
to race onkaric,
a Croatian kart,
one of eight events in this
city's annual street games.
Taking part is a no-brainer.
All you have to do is assemble
this simple racing machine,
and then head downhill.
If teams can complete the course
in 36 seconds or less,
they'll win a clue.
Let's go.
TUCKER: "Choose any
available workstation."
ERIC:
Right here.
- TUCKER: Where's the example?
- ERIC: Oh, Tuck.
This is a finished kart
right here.
- TUCKER: That's it?
- Just go build it.
Sweet.
ERIC:
Let's go, Tuck.
- TUCKER: Okay.
- You got it, Tuck.
TUCKER:
Yup. Washer,
plank, that thing.
The Roadblock
was building this little
racing kart out of wood
and these little bearings.
This thing goes on the back.
Screw, screw.
And, um, I'm an artist at heart,
and I've built
a million things and had,
like, 12 apartments
in New York City,
so I just
wanted to do it.
I was confident
in my ability to build it.
And it looks very simple
at first.
Feel like
I can fly through this.
I build
a lot of stuff back home.
One, two
All right, cool.
Okay.
Did it backwards. Son of a
But I realized I was wrong
pretty quickly.
[groans]
Put this on backwards.
Classic.
HANNAH:
Thank you for your patience.
- Thank you for your patience.
- Thank you.
Thank you. Oh.
- The fish is okay.
- Okay.
You got better.
- Thank you so much.
- Now, you do better, I think.
- Oh, yay. Thank you so much, Marco.
- Yay. Thank you so much, Marco.
- Thank you.
- Oh, my God.
- Thank you, Marco. Okay.
- Run.
- "Caution: Double U-Turn ahead."
- "Double U-Turn ahead."
- Oh, someone's gonna U-Turn us.
- Yeah.
PAIGE:
Here.
- Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Buza Bar. This is Buza Bar.
- IZZY: Okay, let's go.
- Hi.
We're looking for a clue.
You wouldn't have one of those,
by any chance, would you?
IZZY:
It said "Double U-Turn ahead,"
- which means we would see the board.
- "Caution: Double U-Turn."
IZZY: Hopefully, others
are just as confused.
RUBINA:
Buza Bar's just down that way?
KRISTINE: I need to--
We need to ask somebody.
- You want to ask somebody right now?
- Yeah.
- [sighs] - Do any of you guys
have a phone we can borrow?
A phone
that we can get directions.
Oh, man.
CHELSIE: Jag and Jas
U-Turned Izzy and Paige.
Joseph and Adam
U-Turned Kristine and Rubina.
- Hey! Okay.
- All right. All right.
It's not us, so we're good.
- It's Big Brotherhouse stuff.
- [laughs]
Let's go. Come on.
RUBINA: This is the
street. This is the street.
- "Double U-Turn ahead."
- It's not gonna be us.
IZZY:
Is there another Buza Bar
- somewhere?
- WOMAN: Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, okay.
Where's the other Buza Bar?
We just stay to the right?
Thank you.
- Looks like there's another Buza Bar.
- Oh, my God, baby.
PAIGE:
Baby, I love you no matter what.
RUBINA: This way.
KRISTINE: Okay.
Buza Bar.
Yes.
- [sighs]
- We got Double U-Turned.
BOTH:
Joseph and Adam U-Turned us.
I'm still in disbelief
- seeing our faces on that board.
- I know.
- That was weird.
- Like, I cannot.
What? Why?
We look cute in the picture.
I'll give us that.
At least we look cute.
- I can't believe it, but I can.
- It's fine.
They obviously see us
as competition.
RUBINA:
Yeah. You know what,
you see us as a threat?
Fine. You're right.
Flat part's gonna be up.
All right, all right, all right.
JAG: This way. This
is right. Oh, yeah.
- Yup.
- TUCKER: That's at the top, one on each side.
Put 'em in that way.
Flat part up.
[sighs] Flat part up.
"Who feels like
everything's going downhill?"
- I should.
- He's gonna do it.
- JAG: Let's go.
- JAS: Where is it?
Right here? Finished example
- right here.
- Adam, you got this.
- Come on.
- JAS: They're coming.
They're coming.
NATALIE:
Let's do it.
You have to build something
and then race down.
- Go, go, go, go. Keep going.
- NATALIE: It's over here.
- JAS: This way.
- NATALIE: Guys, fast.
- ADAM: Oh, my God.
- [panting]
NATALIE:
Do you want to build
- or you want me to build? You want to
- It's building.
- Joseph, take it.
- I'll take it.
Okay, I'm doing it.
I have to build.
- How we doing, Taylor? I'm right on you.
- This way.
KYLAND: We heard that the boy
teams had, like, a gentleman's agreement,
so unfortunately the guys,
looks like they U-Turned
two of the girl-girl teams.
ERIC:
Being a nonparticipant,
I was just, you know,
waiting for these teams
to come down.
And then all of a sudden,
I saw Kyland and Taylor
run up, um,
and they were talking
about how they think that
the all-guy teams have, uh,
some "gentlemen's agreement."
And so it seems like
Kyland and Taylor
are kind of gunning
for me and Tucker,
Jas and Jag and Joseph and Adam.
Don't want to build?
- You build. I'm
- All right, I'm building.
- JAS: You guys didn't use the U-Turn?
- ERIC: Nah.
[panting]
- That's crazy.
- Yeah, we just figured,
you know, we're in first place.
Like, we already
probably have a target.
Dude, so,
I was here, Kyland and Taylor
were running up.
ERIC:
And they didn't see me.
And they were like,
"It looks like the guys
had a gentleman's agreement.
Like, they're not
going after the guys' teams."
Blah, blah, blah, blah.
So, like, it looks like they're,
like, gunning for us both.
JAS:
That information from Eric,
that just
kind of indicates to us
that Kyland and Taylor
might end up
taking a shot at us.
They're gunning for us, dude.
That will help inform
our decisions
- moving forward.
- They didn't see me.
They said this right here.
That's crazy.
TAYLOR:
You got this, baby.
KYLAND:
Okay, let me try this.
- TUCKER: That doesn't
- KYLAND: Where's the example?
What the hell?
- TUCKER: That makes sense.
- KYLAND: Right in front of me.
TUCKER: They caught up, but
a lot of the screws look the same,
and they all go
in specific places.
And you don't know
unless you build it,
which one goes where.
[sighs]
Those are definitely right, now.
When you look
in your little toolbox,
you had about
six or eight
screws that went in,
and two of 'em
were longer than the others.
- [sighs]
- And after
putting them in and getting
a couple further steps down
Oh, duh.
TUCKER: I realized they
were not in the right spot,
'cause you didn't have
any directions. So I had
to take it apart a few times.
Damn, that's a pain in the ass.
That's gonna be something
people will mess up.
This is very meticulous.
But everything's great.
Everything's fine.
[sighs] What screw is that?
Oh, my gosh.
We're struggling today.
Oh, Hannah,
this must be Buza Bar.
- Oh, where?
- Where is the second Buza?
Okay, that's a sign.
- PAIGE: Buza Bar.
- IZZY: Nice.
Oh, my God. I'm a little scared.
Oh.
Wait, wait.
Oh, my God.
- Are we U-Turned?
- PAIGE: Yeah.
IZZY:
Surprise. Jag and beeping Jas.
- All right, let's go.
- What losers.
You threatened little boys.
- Jas and Jag U-Turned us.
- Oh, my God.
- So, we're gonna go do the other thing.
- Not the people that probably
- can run and beat them at the end.
- Let's
Hey, let's get it together.
I want to be
a little angry right now.
- Jas and Jag U-Turned us.
- Oh, my God.
- So, we're gonna go do the other thing.
- Not the people that probably
- can run and beat them at the end.
- Let's
Hey, let's get it together.
We don't know why
Jas and Jag are targeting us.
IZZY:
It is funny to U-Turn
people that you can outrun.
I'm sorry. I can't fake it.
PAIGE: You don't have to be
sorry. I love how real you are.
It's sort of a lame move.
PAIGE:
We got work to do. Let's work.
Let's work.
RUBINA:
I can see you're panicking.
KRISTINE: Because
everything looks the same.
I know, but we can't
do anything about that.
So we just need
to figure it out.
KRISTINE:
We need to go to West Harbor.
RUBINA:
Is there a way to get through?
- Oh, my God. [sighs]
- Dang it.
RUBINA:
This is rough.
This is the worst.
I don't get it.
JAS:
Okay, make sure.
- TUCKER: All right, that's basically done.
- JOSEPH: Okay.
Lock in that.
JAS:
Let's see what the hell this is.
Down up, down up. [vocalizing]
I need to calm down.
That one's upside down.
Okay, cool.
Hold on.
Oh, God. What's going on here?
TUCKER:
There we go. Got the kart done.
I can steer.
Get this helmet.
- So the Roadblock was two parts.
- Sweet.
Building this kart, and then
racing down a hill
with, like, three locals.
Oh, this is sick.
Whoo! Let's race.
And you had to do it
in a certain amount of time.
Sweet.
[laughs]
Ready?
TUCKER:
I'm ready.
On your marks, get set.
Go.
[air horn blows]
TUCKER: Whoo!
- Oh, they're racing.
- ADAM: That's loud.
- Who is that?
- ERIC: Tucker.
Let's go, Tuck.
Let's go.
Let's go, Tuck.
JAS: Yeah, they got it.
- Oh, let's go, Tucker!
- Nice job, Tucker.
- Yes! - JAS: Good job.
- ERIC: Whoo!
- Let's go!
- ERIC: Good job, buddy.
It's tough, dude. It's tough.
KEOGHAN:
The ancient fortress walls
of Dubrovnik
are anywhere
from five to 25 feet thick
and stand
up to eight stories high.
This is Fort Bokar,
the westernmost tower,
built to protect
the city's main entrance.
Today, it is the Pit Stop
for this leg of the race.
The last team to check in here
will be eliminated.
"Warning: last team to check in
will be eliminated."
TUCKER:
All right, cool, cool, cool.
- ERIC: All right, Fort Bokar.
- TUCKER: Let's go.
HANNAH: Buza Bar,
right here, right here.
SIMONE: You see it? Okay.
HANNAH: Wait, our picture
is not on the board.
SIMONE: Ah, yes!
Oh, my God. Thank the Lord.
Oh, my gosh.
- What the heck?
- HANNAH: Shout-out, Rubina.
SIMONE:
Hannah, we're still in this.
West Harbor.
- IZZY: Okay.
- PAIGE: Okay, that's the net. Then we have
to go elsewhere
to pick up the bucket of chum.
IZZY: Hello. [chuckles]
PAIGE:
We're gonna take one of these.
Yeah, you don't think
we're stealing?
- Okay.
- Okay.
Do you want to hold that?
How-how heavy is it?
Yeah, it's definitely heavy.
PAIGE:
The net is just so big
and so hard
to get close to your body.
Like this?
- Yeah, let's go.
- Are you doing that, baby?
- Yeah.
- Okay.
- Let's go back up.
- Oh, wait. Hold on, hold on, hold on.
PAIGE:
I don't know exactly
how much it weighed.
IZZY: I'm gonna drop
this. I'm dropping it.
PAIGE:
It was certainly a weight
that we could have managed
in another form.
IZZY:
Oh, my God, my arms are shot.
[sighs]
[grunts]
- You get it?
- Okay, yeah.
Hold on. I'm gonna grab
this little piece in the front.
Okay. Let's keep going.
I've got it. Let's go.
- Ready to go to the harbor?
- Yeah.
IZZY:
There they are.
I want to get out of this little
thing so they don't see us.
RUBINA:
Oh, they're there.
Oh, my God, they're not gonna
tell us where to go.
- No.
- RUBINA: No. We're not gonna ask you
- 'cause I know you're just gonna be
- IZZY: We love you.
- We're sorry.
- No, no, don't worry. We understand.
- We understand.
- We hate this, too.
PAIGE: Rubina looked me
right in the eye, and she said,
"We're not gonna ask you where
to go because the game is on."
We knew we were
at the back of the pack, and
we had two serious competitors
on our tail.
RUBINA: Come on,
let's just ask somebody.
Do you have a phone we could
borrow to look up directions?
Please and thank you?
It was hard, 'cause usually,
we would help each other out,
but, like,
- I was not about to ask.
- Yeah.
Like, we're neck and neck
in this, we both got U-Turned.
- Do your thing, you know?
- Sort of. Yeah. Right.
It's downstairs this way.
- Okay, well
- There's a little street right here.
- RUBINA: Okay.
- PAIGE: We're gonna survive this.
IZZY:
Yeah.
And then Jag and Jas
can't pretend to like us.
IZZY:
Can't wait to call them cowards.
JAG:
Okay, I'm almost done now.
Okay, let's see.
I used all the parts.
This seems good.
- CHELSIE: Is it up here?
- Right here. Let's go this way.
KYLAND: Yes, yes, yes, yes,
yes. Okay, that makes sense.
- Me? Okay.
- You do it.
Downhill might jack my knees up.
Okay, I just got to calm down.
KYLAND:
Okay, now we feel good.
There it is.
I love
putting something together.
And one thing I've learned--
when you are
assembling something,
usually things slide into place.
And if you're forcing things
into place,
then they're probably
not correct.
Uh
All the screws were
different lengths, and
one of the screws
wasn't going in all the way.
And once
your brain gets flustered,
you're gonna get confused,
and lose track
of what you've done.
[Cockney accent]:
I don't know what I'm doing.
I don't know what I'm doing.
[regular accent]: I honestly
was just panicking.
It needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat. [sniffles]
It needs to lay flat,
it needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat,
it needs to lay flat.
It needs to lay flat. It needs
to lay flat.
It's not laying flat
for me, either, Natalie.
NATALIE:
It needs to lay flat.
- How?
- The longest one in between these two.
The longest one
- goes all the way up.
- Goes all the way through.
Thank you.
All right,
I'm gonna get my helmet.
JOSEPH: Looks like
I have a mistake here.
The longest piece needs
to go all the way through,
which means
I have to undo this, of course.
I put a screw in the wrong spot,
and I need to undo it.
It's twisting with it.
I can't get this out.
I have this basically done,
and I'm seeing teams leave.
JAG:
Okay.
My kart is ready.
JOSEPH:
And I can't get this screw out.
This is not coming out.
It's not sticking out enough.
Okay. It's okay.
- Calm down, Nat.
- KYLAND: I know
this is the last thing.
Tightening. Yes.
I think we're good now.
I feel really good
about where we're at now.
Ow
Right as I hurt
my whole finger there.
Bolt. Bolt. Okay.
Helmet, elbow pad, gloves.
Ah, there we go.
It's already starting
to build the wrong way.
KYLAND:
Safety first.
Thank God I checked.
- Go.
- [air horn blows]
Come on, Jaga.
Come on, come on, come on.
[Taylor laughs]
JAS: Come on. Come on.
Come on. Come on.
Come on. Come on.
Come on. Come on, Jag.
- No.
- [Jag sighs]
JAS:
Of course.
- Okay.
- Come on.
- JAG: Oh, boy.
- JAS: What is he doing?
JACK:
He lost something.
- A part fell off.
- JAG: Oh, boy.
My kart started falling apart
at the end.
- STEPHANIE: He's got to rebuild it.
- JAS: Come on. You got this.
- Didn't make it.
- Okay.
- On the 36, okay?
- Perfect. Thank you.
I built it correctly.
Ooh.
But I was just hand-screwing
everything, so, I
- You didn't use a wrench?
- I did not use a wrench.
But there was a wrench,
and you didn't
There was a wrench that was
I was just in such a rush
to do this race,
but once I got off my kart
and picked it up, my kart was
literally just falling apart.
I'm gonna have
to find the rest of my parts
and rebuild my kart.
Oh, boy. All right,
I'm all over the place.
Uh-oh.
Ah.
- So stupid.
- Bro is a mess.
- Come on, you got this.
- I lost a bunch of bolts.
JOSEPH:
I can't get this out.
I'm losing so much time, man.
ADAM: Oh, my God.
What's taking them so long?
Oh, man.
- Come on, man. Ugh.
- NATALIE: Natalie, concentrate.
Use your brain!
This really sucks.
I'm I'm done.
JAG:
Um, okay.
I'm not seeing anything yet.
And I have no idea
where it could have fallen.
Please, come on.
Where are my bolts?
JOSEPH: There's no way to get
this out and build the kart.
NATALIE:
It's not this one.
All right, so this one's not
gonna go all the way through.
We are going to get it.
The screws
are different lengths.
How do you get this flat?
Come on.
We're rolling!
JAG:
My kart fell apart,
which is not good.
[panting]
Um
- Jag's thing fell apart.
- That's crazy.
Not seeing anything yet.
JAS: Well, I'm glad we're
running together now.
- Finally, you know?
- No, I know. [laughs]
Okay. Found one bolt
and a washer here.
So I have to retrace
all my steps. Here's another
washer right there.
JAS: I feel like we should
just continue to help each other.
- Exactly. Right.
- But if there's another U-Turn,
- we're just gonna We'll see.
- Oh, my. Mm, yeah.
- We'll see, right?
- We-we will see.
- Okay.
- JAS: It looks like he might have found it.
One, two, three, four.
Okay, I might have gotten
all my pieces, so I'm gonna go
back and tighten everything up.
- KYLAND: You got it, brother.
- That's one thing I did not do.
- Get set. Go.
- [air horn blows]
Go! Yes!
Come on, Kyland.
Let's go, let's go,
let's go, let's go!
Bring it on! Bring it on!
Bring it on! Bring it on!
Bring it on!
Whoo!
- Let's go!
- Whoo!
- Yes! Let's go. - Okay. Go! Go! Go!
- STEPHANIE: Good luck!
- Thank you so much!
- Come on, Nat.
-"Race on foot to the Pit Stop
-Pit Stop!
at the top of Fort Bokar
and find Phil on the mat."
- ERIC: Go.
- TUCKER: Yup. There.
- ERIC: Yup, this is it.
- TUCKER: Here we are.
Let's go, Phil.
Whoo!
- Boom.
- Boom, baby.
- Welcome to Dubrovnik.
- Thank you. - Thank you.
KEOGHAN: Tucker and
Eric, I am very pleased
to tell you that
you are team number one.
- Yeah!
- Let's go, baby.
- Let's get it, baby. Yes.
- Let's go.
I'm also pleased
to tell you that as the winners
of this leg of the race,
you have won $2,500 each.
- Let's go!
- Ah.
KEOGHAN: And you can
enjoy that after the race.
You decided not
to U-Turn anybody today?
- TUCKER: Yeah.
- ERIC: Yeah. Yeah, it was a close call.
If we're gonna get first,
it's already gonna
put a target on us, so,
didn't want
to double down on the target.
ERIC: We're right
where we want to be, we're sure
that that adds, you know,
a bigger target to our back,
but as long
as we keep racing our race,
we feel confident
that we can handle
whatever adversity
comes our way.
RUBINA:
Hi!
KRISTINE:
Let's make this efficient
so that it's all, like, in it.
- You know what I'm saying?
- Yeah.
- KRISTINE: I don't want it to keep falling.
- Yeah.
Oh, my God, it's so heavy.
- Let I should be in the back then.
- Okay.
Let me be in the back.
Let me get the heavier part.
Let's go over our backs.
[both grunting]
I think we just
need to go steady.
CHELSIE:
The big one's on the outside.
So maybe it's the small ones.
Maybe I got it wrong.
JAG: Good thing is,
I found all my pieces
that fell off during the race,
and that was what
I was really concerned about is,
'cause I was only two seconds
off from completing the race.
I have taken this on and off
a kabillion, jillion times.
When you think you got it,
you don't.
JAG:
This is a lot tighter.
- JOSEPH: This won't come off.
- JAG: Okay.
It's just not coming off.
- I don't know what to do.
- JAG: Let's see if I can do this.
Wait a damn minute.
Ah. Oh, my goodness, Nat.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
Is it Jag?
It's Jag.
JAS: Whoa. Don't slow
down. Come on, come on.
Come on! Come on! Come on!
Please, please, please,
please, please.
- Yeah!
- Yeah!
- JACK: Good job, brother! Let's go. Let's go.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
- ADAM: Oh, my God.
What's taking them so long?
"Race on foot to the Pit Stop."
- Fort Bokar. Let's ask someone.
- JAG: Yes.
- Wait a sec. [sighs]
- [Kyland sighs]
Kyland and Taylor,
I am pleased to tell you
that you're not one,
but you are two.
- [shrieks, laughs]
- Oh!
PAIGE: Yeah, the oyster bar
will be right in here.
IZZY: Okay.
- PAIGE: I see a waitress.
- IZZY: Yeah.
IZZY: Hello. I think
you have chum for us.
- PAIGE: Can we go?
- Thank you. Thank you for the chum.
Here we go.
Jag and Jas, I want you to know
I never followed you
on Instagram.
IZZY:
Yeah. I never liked y'all.
- Careful down these stairs.
- Thank you.
IZZY: We've got
several steps of stairs.
- PAIGE: I-I'm good.
- IZZY: Okay.
STEPHANIE:
God. This is gut-wrenching.
- Come on, Nat.
- [Adam sighs]
Our teams have been up
building those karts
- for a while.
- For a while. Yeah.
It's okay.
We're gonna get this.
We're gonna get this.
Let me try something.
I got to get creative,
so I grab a wooden block,
press it hard
against the screw
so that it doesn't move with me.
Yeah. I got it.
Thank God. Oh, my God.
I had to use the wooden block
to hold it.
Finally. This is why
I'm a white-collar guy.
Screw is out,
and I'm flying through.
I had it built
in the next three minutes.
I'm ready to race.
NATALIE:
Oh, my God.
- JOSEPH: We're moving, baby.
- NATALIE: Please, Lord.
CHELSIE: They got here
before me, but I can catch up.
JOSEPH: Still in the
game, baby. We're ready.
I'm feeling good
for my first attempt.
"Who feels like
everything's going downhill?"
- I can do it.
- You're handier than I am.
All right, here's the start.
Gonna get this done.
Get back in the race.
Good job, Natalie.
Keep it up, guys.
CHELSIE:
Hannah and Simone just arrived,
which is not good.
SIMONE:
Oh, my gosh. Okay. Um
But I'm almost done.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
ADAM:
Is he going? Oh, yes.
Come on, Joseph!
Go! Go!
Go! Come on!
Yes! Yes!
Come on! Come on!
[Joseph laughs]
JOSEPH: Let's go. Oh,
my God, Oh, my God.
Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me.
Joseph!
STEPHANIE:
Dude, where is Nat?
ADAM:
"The last team to check in
will be eliminated." Let's go.
I already have the directions.
Come on, come on.
Hannah, did you see Nat?
This really sucks.
Well, I tried.
SIMONE:
Taking it step by step.
SIMONE:
A two Interesting.
NATALIE:
It's not happening.
This is truly impossible.
CHELSIE:
Let's go, baby.
NATALIE:
It's not working.
SIMONE: I build my
own furniture back home,
and I've always just
had a little knack
for building blocks
since I was little.
I'm feeling like Steph should
have gotten this one.
I'm doing it, literally,
all over again.
CHELSIE:
Oh, it's gonna be fun. Whoo!
NATALIE:
Chelsie left. No way, bro.
I was starting to feel
really discouraged because
I was really worried about
letting my sister down.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
STEPHANIE:
That's Chelsie.
JACK: Let's go,
Chels! You've got this!
Let's go. Keep going!
Go! Go! Keep going! Keep going!
Go! Go! Go! Go!
Go! Go! Go!
Keep going! Keep going!
Aw.
KEOGHAN: Jag and Jas,
I'm pleased to tell you
that you're team number three
- on the podium again.
- Let's go.
IZZY:
Yes, this is it.
PAIGE:
There it is. The guy in orange.
IZZY:
Okay, the guy in orange. Yup.
We've got some chum
and net for you.
Okay, good one.
- All right. - Okay.
- Okay?
- Turn back? - Turn back in here?
- Good job. Good job, guys.
- Good job.
- Thank you.
Okay, I have something for you.
- Thank you so much.
- You're welcome.
- Thank you so, so much.
- Good luck. Good luck.
Wow. We really did not expect
to get Double U-Turned.
I'm gonna tell you right now.
- Both guy teams U-Turned the girls.
- Three.
RUBINA:
Okay, you're really threatened.
Whatever.
As long as we don't quit,
- I'll be proud of us, okay?
- Yeah.
RUBINA:
It was so frustrating.
I can't I can't even explain
how frustrating that was.
- RUBINA [laughs] This sucks.
- KRISTINE: It's coming apart.
It's falling out.
- Blood, sweat and tears.
- KRISTINE: This is nuts.
RUBINA:
Not giving up.
"We're not gonna quit"
is the only thing
that I remember saying.
Thanks. All right, let's go.
RUBINA: Man, remember how
we thought this day was gonna go?
IZZY:
Let's go.
"Find your next clue
at Ploce Gate."
Okay, I think we know
the direction we're going.
Okay. Good-good job.
- Good luck.
- Thank you so much. - Thanks.
NATALIE:
This is all messed-up.
One fits through, one doesn't.
SIMONE:
You got it, Natalie.
NATALIE: This is the only way
that it will work.
So what I can do is get it
as tight as possible,
and maybe
it'll flatten the board up.
I can't give up.
This is The Amazing Race.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
JACK:
Come on, Chels!
Let's go!
Come on!
Go!
JACK: She must have recognized
she didn't get it in 36 seconds,
so she just stopped
and went back up.
NATALIE:
Yup.
Oh, my goodness, Nat.
I know what I did wrong.
I didn't twist these in
so that the other two
on the end will go in.
I had it correct all along.
SIMONE:
Okay, wait. That's odd.
NATALIE:
Steph should have done this one.
I had it a while ago.
SIMONE:
Something's off. Um,
for some reason,
it just looks really tight.
All right,
I'm gonna give this a go.
Hope I didn't disappoint
my sister.
I've been here a while,
so I'm feeling nervous.
- PAIGE: There it is. I see it.
- IZZY: I'm jogging a little.
SIMONE:
Hey, guys. You got this.
PAIGE:
I got this Roadblock, okay?
- IZZY: Let's go.
- PAIGE: Back here. - Okay.
"Who's feeling like
everything's going downhill?"
Ironic, Amazing Race.
I am certainly feeling like
everything is going downhill.
RUBINA:
Okay. Come on, Pulan.
BOTH: "Travel on foot to find
your next clue at Ploce Gate."
- RUBINA: Let's hustle.
- KRISTINE: I'm going.
RUBINA: I know.
Aah! Ouch.
JACK: Where is
she? She's not getting
- around that corner fast enough.
- Oh, there's Nat, right?
- Yeah!
- Nat!
Nat, go!
- HANNAH: Good job! Good job!
- STEPHANIE: Go, Nat!
Oh, he ran over my finger.
- STEPHANIE: Didn't. D
- WOMAN: Sorry. Go again.
- Again?
- 36 seconds.
36 seconds? Let's go.
STEPHANIE:
Yeah, Nat, you got this!
That's my girl!
It's hard.
JACK:
This next one is gonna be it.
She's gonna get it.
- I can do it.
- I know you can do it.
Those pins--
those are interesting.
Okay, I'm just gonna work
on the front first.
I think this is the hard part.
SIMONE:
Something's not right, though.
- PAIGE: Okay.
- SIMONE: Hey, what I'm doing.
What am I doing?
BOTH: "Who feels like
everything's going downhill?"
We both do.
I'm gonna do this one.
ADAM:
Where are you, Phil?
Where are
those beautiful eyebrows?
Team number four.
- Yeah! [laughing]
- [laughing]
MAN:
Get set.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
JACK;
Come on, Chels.
Let's go, baby. You got this.
Keep going!
STEPHANIE:
Yeah, Nat. Let's go, let's go!
- JACK: Keep going!
- STEPHANIE: Come on!
- Whoo!
- JACK: Yes!
They got this. They got it.
- STEPHANIE: Come on, baby.
- JACK: They got it.
- They got this.
- STEPHANIE: Let's go, Nat!
Come on, Nat!
Push! Push!
Let's go! Let's go!
- I did it!
- STEPHANIE: Yes!
- NATALIE: I did it. I saw my time.
- STEPHANIE: Ooh! Yeah!
- I saw my time.
- Yeah, yeah. No, you did it.
- STEPHANIE: I'm so proud of you.
- CHELSIE: Dang it! One second!
"The last team to check in
will be eliminated."
- Okay.
- I got you. I got you. I got you.
- JACK: Ugh!
- Good luck, guys.
JACK:
She was one second off.
Aah! Let's go, Chels.
That goes there.
PAIGE:
I got a wrench
for my 16th birthday.
That is the tool that I use
most frequently in my work,
so, the building part felt
incredibly natural to me.
I can do this.
I use all sorts
of stuff like this
in my work all the time, so
I built my cat's cat tree,
so, it should be pretty simple.
SIMONE:
Paige, I'm so sorry.
Can I ask, did you use this
screw and this screw for this?
Or have you already
screwed it on from under?
I have not screwed it on
from under.
- This piece is just sitting here flat.
- Okay, gotcha.
PAIGE: I bet these are
different. That's all I know.
And you're screw
Okay, I see what you're saying.
PAIGE:
Simone was not U-Turned, um,
so, it was shocking to see her
so early
in the building process, still.
Um
PAIGE:
She looked a little lost,
and it was really hard for me
not to help her build that kart.
- SIMONE: Hey, Kristine.
- Yeah, it's so hard.
I know. Okay.
I know that it's down
to the wire.
Would we like
to help each other out?
I mean, I'm off.
- 'Cause
- I don't understand,
- like, phase one.
- No, me too. Same.
KRISTINE: Simone was still
building her kart, and she was
nowhere near done.
And I was stoked because
I just knew I would be able
to do it and do it quickly.
I know what I'm doing.
NATALIE:
Oh, we did it.
KEOGHAN:
Natalie and Stephanie,
you are officially
team number five.
- Yay!
- Yay!
Yay! Yay! Yay!
PAIGE:
Just tightening things down.
I want to go back and check
how tight
that middle one should be,
'cause I think
that's how you steer.
Um so maybe that one actually
shouldn't be all that tight.
Are those looking too big?
PAIGE: Okay, that's
everything, that's every piece.
I'm gonna go ride this thing.
I was exhausted
showing up to the Roadblock,
but I got my kart put together
fairly efficiently.
Good luck, Paige.
PAIGE:
And then it just
was a matter
of the racing element.
Chelsie,
what are you doing here?
Seeing Chelsie
at the starting line--
that's when I really started
to understand
how difficult
this was going to be.
- Go!
- [air horn blows]
This is it, baby! Let's go.
IZZY:
Let's go, Paige!
Come on, Chels.
Oh, no.
She fell off.
JACK:
All right, come on.
Aw
IZZY:
Learning every time.
Learning every time.
I love you.
KRISTINE: I was staying
calm building the kart
because I do like
putting things together, so,
I knew I could do it.
Like, I didn't feel frazzled
or intimidated
by building something.
Yes, okay.
We're gonna ride this thing.
And I don't know.
I didn't feel pressure
because I knew
I still had to do the race.
So
[air horn blows]
JACK:
Let's go, baby.
Come on, baby.
Where's my girl?
RUBINA:
Yay! Yay! Yay!
IZZY:
Come on, baby. You got this.
RUBINA:
Come on, Pulan!
Let's go, Pulan!
You got it! Keep going!
Go! Go! Go!
- Oh.
- JACK: Damn it. This is a brutal one.
Do you see the time?
KRISTINE: Under 36 seconds.
RUBINA:
You can do this, Pulan.
KRISTINE:
Oh, my God.
- RUBINA: I know, I know.
- JACK: Let's go, Chels!
I'm trying!
Ugh.
She's gonna figure it out.
CHELSIE:
Building was hard for me,
but riding down the
cobblestone street was worse.
It was so difficult.
I can't get it.
- I started to get tired.
- JACK: Yeah.
- And discouraged.
- Yes.
[air horn blows]
JACK:
Go, Chels! Go!
JACK:
Let's go now. Come on.
Let's go, daughter.
Yes!
Come on!
Go!
Go! Go. Go, Chels, go! Go!
- JACK: Oh!
- RUBINA: Reset, Pulan. You can do this.
- CHELSIE: I can't get it.
- JACK: Come on, Chels.
CHELSIE:
I'm tired.
Growing up, I played basketball,
and he was always in the stands,
what he thinks,
coaching me, but he was really
yelling at me.
JACK: I'm just being a
dad. Sorry. I'll step back.
- So, but [laughs]
- Coaching, not yelling.
- No, you were yelling.
- It's different.
- [Izzy sighs]
- HANNAH: Oh, where is Simone?
Okay, I'm pretty confident
that this is right.
I think.
So, I'm gonna head down,
and here goes nothing. [laughs]
Two seconds. I can't get
those two seconds. Aah.
Watching your child struggle
is hard.
CHELSIE:
It's frustrating.
And when you start seeing
all the teams
- catching up
- CHELSIE: Hey, Simone.
SIMONE:
Hey, guys.
PAIGE:
Let's go, Simone.
you're like,
"Oh, shoot. Here we go."
- [air horn blows] - JACK:
Fourth quarter, beast mode.
Let's go.
Come on, girl!
Let's go!
Is that Simone?
JACK:
Stay on it!
HANNAH:
Yes, okay.
Simoney roney, you got this!
Go, Chels! Go!
- RUBINA: Doing great, Pulan!
- JACK: Go! Go! Go!
RUBINA:
You're doing great, Pulan!
Oh! Come on!
How close?
- One second.
- All right. Almost, almost.
- I'm tired.
- JACK: I know. We're still good.
- Let's go.
- Oh, man.
JACK:
It's a tough one.
- This is a tough one.
- IZZY: It is so hard to watch.
- JACK: Yeah, it is.
- IZZY: You got this, Paige!
PAIGE: I took my third ride,
and we didn't get it.
IZZY: Ooh, well,
this is a race, y'all.
PAIGE: And then I
turned around, and I went
straight back
to the starting line
with Chelsie and with Kristine
and Simone, as well.
- IZZY: Everyone's here.
- JACK: At this point, it's a matter of
who can get down this hill
in 36 seconds.
PAIGE:
And that's when I realized
HANNAH: They're all, like, neck and neck now.
- RUBINA: I know.
PAIGE:
that I was side by side
with everyone racing
to not be last.
- IZZY: Oh, this is crazy.
- RUBINA: This is the worst.
HANNAH:
It's-it's rough.
- IZZY: Oh, my God.
- HANNAH: I know.
- IZZY: Oh. Everyone's here.
- HANNAH: They're all,
- like, neck and neck now.
- RUBINA: I know.
[air horn blows]
IZZY:
Let's go, Paige!
HANNAH:
Come on, Simone, please.
IZZY:
Come on, baby!
JACK;
Come on, girl.
Come on.
There we go.
Let's go! Let's go!
Let's go! Last little piece.
JACK:
Come on! Come on!
CHELSIE:
Oh, my goodness.
- It's not fun.
- JACK: Ah, no! Let's go!
Come on, Chels!
- I've been here forever.
- SIMONE: Shoot, shoot, shoot.
My thing just completely
fell apart.
It's crazy.
- I can't get it.
- JACK: All right, this is it.
Let's go, Chels!
SIMONE: So I have to
now put it back together.
CHELSIE:
I'm just not making it in time.
I'm off by, like, two seconds.
- SIMONE: Oh, my gosh.
- JACK: Come on, Chels.
Brutal, brutal.
RUBINA: We're, like,
trauma-bonded, guys.
HANNAH:
This is hard.
I'm tired.
I wanted to give up so bad,
but when I was onBig Brother,
it was a mental battle
for over 90 days.
[air horn blows]
CHELSIE: And every single day,
I had to wake up
and remind myself,
why am I here?
JACK:
Let's go!
CHELSIE: I had to find a
reason that I was doing it.
And when I thought
about my siblings,
just seeing me fail, fail, fail,
but not give up,
that was the thing
that motivated me.
- IZZY: You got this, sweet thing!
- JACK: Let's go, Chels!
RUBINA:
Let's go! Let's go!
I'm just thankful that for now,
there are other teams
that are here.
- IZZY: Come on baby, push!
- RUBINA: You can do it!
- JACK: Come on, Chels!
- RUBINA: Yes!
JACK:
You're gonna get it, babe! Go!
Yes!
Yes! Yes!
Yes!
- Thank you.
- JACK: Yes, baby!
All right,
gonna give it another go.
- Great job, baby.
- HANNAH: Good job, Chelsie.
JACK:
I knew you were gonna get it.
CHELSIE:
Still kicking, still fighting.
She was hurting, she was tired,
but she kept pushing through it.
That's what the Bahams do.
We never give up.
IZZY:
I don't know. Oh, my God.
- [air horn blows]
- IZZY: Come on, Paige.
PAIGE: 36 seconds
was not a lot of time.
- IZZY: Let's go!
- RUBINA: Come on, Pulan!
IZZY:
Let's go!
PAIGE:
But the strategy wasn't about
slamming it out of the gate.
It was about slow, steady
progress around the turn,
and then gunning it
once you had made the turn.
IZZY:
Let's go faster, baby!
Push it! Push it!
HANNAH:
Come on, Simone! Keep going!
- IZZY: Yes, baby!
- RUBINA: It's okay, Pulan.
- I know you're tired.
- I love you, too.
RUBINA: I know you're
tired, Pulan. I know.
- I know it's hard. I'm so proud of you.
- [Kristine crying]
RUBINA: I'm so sorry.
I know you're tired.
- I know. I know. I'm so sorry.
- [crying]
RUBINA:
I don't want it to be like this.
I don't want to say goodbye.
"Last team to check in
will be eliminated."
- Okay.
- Okay, so we got to find Fort Bokar.
I am so proud of you.
- CHELSIE: Dad, this way.
- Yeah.
Jack and Chelsie
you have survived another leg
of this Amazing Race.
- [laughs]
- Yes.
And you're team number six.
Congratulations.
Yes, we moved up.
[air horn blows]
RUBINA: You got it, Pulan!
Let's go!
You got this!
You got it! Keep pushing!
Dig! Dig deep! Come on!
Come on! Come on! Dig! Dig! Dig!
Oh, my God.
KRISTINE: As soon as
Paige and Chelsie left,
and it was just me and Simone,
it was a lot of pressure
at that point.
Because we both, you know,
don't want to be eliminated.
It's down to the wire.
RUBINA:
I know it's hard!
Dig deep! Dig deep! Dig deep!
Come on! Come on!
It's okay, Pulan.
I know you're tired.
- Dig! Dig! Dig!
- [yelling]: Aah!
RUBINA:
You're so close.
Come on! Push! Push!
Push! Push! Push!
Aah!
RUBINA:
Pulan, it's okay.
KRISTINE: It just, like,
took everything out of me.
I was getting frustrated.
I was getting emotional.
[crying]:
It's so hard.
I'm so tired.
I'm so tired. [crying]
It was so hard to watch.
I know. Cry it out.
Are you okay?
HANNAH: Come on,
Simone. You can't give up.
Remember, this is supposed
to be fun.
Yeah.
- I'm so proud of you. - I'm
- KEOGHAN: Izzy and Paige,
you still managed to stay ahead
of the other teams.
- You are team number seven.
- Oh.
- Team seven.
- You will be racing in the next leg
- of this Amazing Race.
- Oh.
- Oh, my God.
- I'm so proud of you.
So let's go to, probably, the
lowest point in your day today,
which was you arrive
at the U-Turn board
and you suddenly find out
that you've been targeted.
- IZZY: Jag and Jas hate us.
- [laughs]
It's mutual, so we're not
really that concerned about it.
-PAIGE: Today's U-Turn
was a blessing because -Yeah.
we no longer have
to play the polite game.
- With all due respect to their game
- Mm-hmm.
we're ready
to come after them.
I wish there were
other teams here.
- Not us. You know?
- Me too. Me too.
KRISTINE:
I just want it to be over with.
RUBINA:
Push!
You can do this.
[crying]:
I feel so bad.
Oh, my God, this is so
HANNAH:
This is brutal.
I'm walking up the hill
over and over.
[air horn blows]
KRISTINE: And I didn't realize
how exhausting it would be.
RUBINA: You're a fighter!
You can do this! Keep fighting!
KRISTINE: I wasn't even
looking at the time anymore, but
I was noticing that I was
- getting further along than she was.
- RUBINA: Yeah.
So subconsciously, I was like,
"Anything is possible."
Please. Please. Please.
HANNAH:
Yeah, she got it.
She got it.
Did I get it?
WOMAN:
You got it. You got it.
- Congratulations. Congratulations.
- Thank you so much.
I know. I know.
I'm so proud of you.
- [crying]
- I know. I know.
I'm so proud of you.
KRISTINE:
That literally was the hardest
I've pushed myself and my body
my entire life.
"Race on foot to the Pit Stop
at the top of Fort Bokar."
- RUBINA: Oh, my God.
- HANNAH: Simone, that's okay.
- Keep going.
- RUBINA: I have everything.
- KRISTINE: Okay. Where is it?
- RUBINA: Fort Bokar.
Good job, guys!
It's been an honor!
- [Kristine mumbles]
- I love you!
RUBINA:
Oh, my God!
- We're still here!
- Cockroaches.
Kristine, that was unbelievably
tough out there today.
- Oh, my God.
- It was so hard.
It was the hardest thing
I ever had to do in my life.
Especially after
getting double U-Turned.
- We did not expect to see our face.
- KRISTINE: At all.
The fact that both teams who
were U-Turned are still in this.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Says a lot, so
- Does say a lot.
I really truly believe
we can do anything after this.
Inadvertently, the Double U-Turn
has given us more confidence.
- KRISTINE: Yes, definitely.
- RUBINA: I don't think
that's what Joseph
and Adam wanted.
Whatever happens next
in this race,
-the fact that we survived
this leg -Double U-Turn.
and we're going
into halfway point
- Yeah. Right.
- I'm so proud of us.
Like, you-you can't
bring us down
from this cloud we're on.
HANNAH:
Yeah! Let's go! Let's go!
Let's go! Keep pushing!
Keep pushing! Keep pushing!
Keep pushing! Keep pushing!
Keep pushing! No.
Okay.
SIMONE:
All of the teams
before me had gotten it.
- Do you see the smile that's on my face?
- Yes.
You were so close that time,
so close.
You know, banana,
I love you so much.
I love you, too.
I am the only one left.
Please don't cry, please.
Please don't cry
- at all, Simone.
- No, but that's okay.
[crying]: Please don't cry.
Please don't cry, Simone.
SIMONE:
And
a sense of
helplessness set in.
No, that's okay.
Thank you.
HANNAH:
No more tears, you got it.
SIMONE [crying]:
Hannah has sacrificed so much
for me in this race, and
she's worked so hard.
And seeing Hannah cheer me on
on the side
really gave me that motivation
because I can't give up
after all of this hard work
that she's put into this.
I did it! I did it!
And she's still able
to smile throughout this,
and that's what makes her
such an incredible sister.
I'm so proud of you!
We did exactly what we set out
to do during this race.
We made memories that, you know,
my sister and I will now
have shared together.
Hannah and Simone, you are
the last team to arrive.
- You have been eliminated from this race.
- Yes.
HANNAH: Most siblings
who are as close
as we are in age
spend a majority
of their childhoods together,
and we just didn't have that.
And so, just having
this uninterrupted time together
has been so special.
It's always been about us
and our relationship growing,
and I've been able
to learn so much about Simone,
as well as from Simone.
We truly have made up
for lost time,
and I have the best sister
that anybody
- could ask for.
- Yeah.
HANNAH: I'm so glad we were
able to do this adventure together.
SIMONE:
Love you so much. Me too.
KEOGHAN: Next time
onThe Amazing Race,
Izzy wants revenge
IZZY:
I can't stand Jas and Jag.
I want to rip their heads off.
I want to yell at them.
KEOGHAN:
Stephanie gets real.
STEPHANIE: Why do you tell
people you're gonna wait?
Nat, we're racing right now.
So should I tell them
we're gonna go?
- We have to go.
- Yeah.
KEOGHAN: and Jas and Jag
meet their match.
Hey, get-get in, get in--
get in the car,
- get in the car.
- Stop it, stop it, pull it.
