She just sat down next to me,
the oldest daughter.
She's bringing them all forward to me,
the family.
They keep showing me the image
of me being shot,
and I'm blown back to the wall.
And I literally just fall down.
Now it's like I can feel the children
wanting to run
Like they're running and hiding.
On December 25th, 1929,
tobacco farmer Charlie Lawson shot
and bludgeoned to death his wife Fanny,
two younger sons, Raymond and James,
two young daughters, Maybell and Carey,
and infant daughter, Mary Lou.
He also shot and killed
his eldest daughter,
16-year-old Marie, who was pregnant.
Oh, my God, what the?
There's something here,
and it's not human.
I'm done. That was jacked up.
That was some serious shit.
This is the last time I come up here.
I think we're dealing with more
than just the spirit of the father here.
All three teams saw
paranormal activity consistent
with what Ed and Lorraine Warren saw
on the first week of the cycle
on their cases.
But this next phase,
which will carry the investigators
past the halfway point of the experiment,
will be one of the hardest
for the teams to endure.
Just from a human perspective,
this is a really difficult time
for the investigators.
They've been cut off from their families,
they're exhausted, mentally beaten down,
which means they've become vulnerable
to spiritual attacks and manipulation.
The darker spirits don't want
to give up their secrets,
so they're gonna mess with these
teams' heads and try to get them to leave.
You don't know how hard it is, honestly,
to try to sleep in here,
and you just hear talking constantly,
and then all of a sudden you hear,
like, a footstep or something,
and then you look, and you're like,
"Okay, it's nothing."
You try and close your eyes,
try to settle down, go to sleep.
All of a sudden you hear, "Hey."
"Ooh, I'm up. You got my attention."
Ever since I was attacked in the attic,
I've been struggling.
I have been having
a lot of hard time sleeping.
I think the longer we stay here,
the more intense
it is with me seeing spiritual energy.
The family I believe
that was killed by their father
knows that I'm a beacon for them,
so they know that they can give messages
to me, and sometimes they don't let up.
I don't know if they're stuck,
reliving the murder over and over,
or if they're trying to warn me,
or just have their story told.
But that's what I need to figure out.
I'm trying to push through.
I am trying to catch up on sleep.

they can drain my energy,
and that can be very dangerous,
because if my energy is depleted
in any way, shape, or form,
that's a way for them to come in
and start mentally manipulating me,
or physically manipulating me.

Brandy is nailing it as far as picking up
on what happened with this family,
but it seems like every time
she gets closer to the truth,
the more she's attacked,
the more she's targeted.
The secrets of these entities
have been held for so long,
and now they're getting closer
to the truth.
And that's when the spirits
become more hostile.
In the first few nights
of the 28-day cycle,
the team at Lumber Baron Inn picked up
on the murder of two young girls.
"Girls. They need help."
But since then,
their investigation has grown stagnant.
Every time they begin to connect
with the spirit of the girls,
which will hopefully reveal
more of the mystery,
they get blocked
by another powerful entity.
So we know we're on the right track.
We got physical evidence,
we've got names, we've got dates.
I think we need to try
some new techniques.

a soft gaze, you look into a mirror.
It's scary, because I believe that mirrors
are portals for spirits,
and they can be open portals,

what's coming in or going out of them.
