Beauty and the Beast (2012) s03e01 Episode Script

The Beast of Wall Street

Previously on Beauty & the Beast JT? How bad is it, Cat? He's not gonna die, is he? Code Blue! Code Blue! Hey, guys.
What's up? I thought I lost you.
Not a chance.
We're the people that just saved your friend's life.
How and why? That's all you get to know unless you agree to help us.
Help you do what? In a world where science can create beasts, you shouldn't be surprised to learn that there's a lot worse things out there.
And now that we know what you can do and who you are, we're gonna need your help to figure out exactly what we're up against.
What do you want to do about Agent Thomas' offer? I don't want to think about it.
I just want to be here with you right now.
Together.
You're late.
Sorry.
It's been a while since I beasted out.
You know, almost forgot how.
It's only been two months.
Yeah, long enough not to miss it.
Came in like the breeze I felt it in my knees You know, it's really too bad we still have to go through all this just to see each other, though, huh? Blame work, not beasts.
And traffic.
Oh, traffic.
Okay, so, how long you got? That depends.
How long can you last? And boiled down every fear We built a round house A house with our hands over our hearts And we swore on that day That it'll never fall apart Never fall apart Never fall apart Wake up To the sun Clouds always come undone You give the light I need Like water to a sea Good morning.
Good morning.
Oh.
What's this? It's a stethoscope.
Did you did you miss that chapter? It's-it's a gift.
To remind you not to use your beast senses to check heartbeats.
Ah.
Better not to be outed on your first day back to work, Dr.
Keller.
God, that sounds weird, doesn't it? Dr.
Keller? No.
It sounds perfect.
It sounds normal.
You worked really hard to get reinstated.
You deserve to have your life back after being sidetracked.
We deserve it.
It's almost too good to be true.
I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Come on.
It's been over two months since Gabe.
I know.
You're still worried about what those agents said, aren't you? About there being worse threats.
No.
I don't know.
Maybe.
Catherine, come on, if what they said was true, we would've known about it by now, right? Besides, we've sacrificed enough, okay? We don't have to sacrifice anything more.
We got each other, we got our future.
A normal future, okay? And I do not want to risk losing that ever again.
Neither do I.
I love this, Vincent.
I love our life together.
Okay.
Well, then stop worrying that something's gonna come along and mess it up, okay? We won't let it.
I-I will definitely not let it.
Mwah.
Okay, now, don't forget, We got a lot to celebrate.
I'll go there right from the precinct.
Oh, and tell JT that I'm thinking about him! Sorry.
Welcome back, Professor.
Thank you.
Uh uh, it's, uh it's-it's good to be back.
Sorry.
It was your first day back.
Of course you were nervous.
JT, Gabe's attack was incredibly traumatic for you, all right? It's only been a couple of months.
You have to be patient with yourself.
You have got to stop calling me.
But, still, even the doctors say you need to start getting your strength back I told you before, I don't want to get involved unless you have and your life back.
something specific to show me.
Who is that? Agent Thomas.
All right.
Okay.
All right, all right.
Maybe you're not ready for teaching.
How about lunch? That's what you said last time I came down, but you didn't have squat.
It'll be good for you.
It'll be good for us.
No, no, you can't keep trying to guilt me into this just because you saved JT.
No.
Attaboy.
All right, Il Cantuccio.
I'll decide if and when Vincent needs to know.
You keep him out of this.
How's JT? Better than he thinks he is.
I'm doing everything I can to help him, but there's a limit.
You know, I'm not good with neurotic.
I don't have the patience.
Still, he almost died.
I know that.
But he didn't.
You know, he lost a lot of blood, he got really weak, but he should be better by now.
There's something holding him back.
I just don't know what it is.
And it'd be nice to get my life back, too.
Trust me, it's worth the wait.
Excuse me.
Where are you going? Don't we have a case? Yeah, but those DHS agents think they actually might have something.
All right, you know what, you keep saying you don't want to get involved, yet you keep getting involved.
You almost act like you, uh, miss fighting beasts sometimes.
That's ridiculous.
Oh? Okay.
Maybe I do.
A little.
I mean, it's not like I miss the danger or-or how much of my life I had to give up for the last two years, but on the other hand, I I do sort of miss being part of something, I don't know, bigger, important.
I guess that's harder to let go of than I thought.
Well, it's not harder for Vincent.
He'll hit the roof if he finds out you're cheating on him.
I am not cheating on him.
You know what I mean.
Believe me, the last thing I want to do is risk what we have or, worse, risk Vincent's life.
But I can't escape this feeling that we're still meant to do something bigger, that-that maybe I'm supposed to be a part of something bigger.
Where's Keller? Same answer as before.
I'm not bothering him with this unless there's a reason to.
She just wants to see what we've got before they get involved.
If we decide to get involved.
Lady, you're already involved.
You think we saved your friend's ass because we're nice? You owe us.
Whatever you did to save JT, you did before you asked us to help you.
And Vincent and I, we only agreed to think about it.
People are dying, Detective, innocent people, all over the city.
And someone or something's responsible for it.
And you want to think about it? Yes, I do.
Because I've been down this road before with the Feds, and it hasn't always ended pretty.
We've paid our dues.
We've risked our lives enough, especially Vincent.
We've risked something, too, Detective, our jobs, our reputation.
The only person who knows about this is the deputy secretary, and he's only allowing us to keep doing this as long as no one on the inside or outside these walls finds out about it.
Check this out.
Amsterdam, 145th Street.
Construction worker gets into a fight, falls ten floors, but somehow only breaks his arm.
Morningside, a pissed-off driver rolls a car with his bare hands.
Rikers, a prisoner goes crazy, kicks open a fortified cell door and beats two guards to death.
Okay, this could be anything.
This could be the latest street drug.
This is no street drug, Chandler.
You've seen enough with your beast buddy to know that.
Somehow, somebody's getting ordinary people, innocents, to do extraordinary things, things that nobody should be able to do.
Experimenting on them, turning them into guinea pigs, pushing the limits of their body and mind.
And who's behind it and why, we don't know.
But what we do know is that this pattern is increasing.
It's happening more often.
More and more people are being targeted.
And they're hurting other people or dying because of it.
I don't know what you want me to say.
Say you'll help.
Say Vincent will help because we're gonna need him to stop this.
I need more.
I need proof before I take this to him.
Because I'm the only person in this room who cares about saving his life.
Hey.
Hey.
What are you doing here, McBeastie? Aren't you supposed to be, like, playing doctor or something? Yeah.
I don't want to be late on my first day.
So remember that box of things I asked you to hold onto for me before I left for Afghanistan? Your mom's stuff? Yeah, sure.
Yeah.
C-Can I see it? Of course.
Uh if I can remember where I put it.
Come on.
You still need that thing? What, the cane? Yeah.
You don't want me to fall down and break my neck, right? Uh-huh.
So how did your first day back at class go? Oh.
Here it is.
Here you go.
That's it, right? Yeah.
What are you looking for? Mom's engagement ring.
I am gonna ask Catherine to marry me.
Would you like to try it on? Uh no.
Thank you.
I am not ready for that.
Well, you should be-- especially after everything you and Vincent have been through.
Calm down.
We're just getting used to being normal.
Don't push it.
Oh, Heather, you look beautiful.
Do you like it? Yeah, I like it even better than the last one.
Oh, the last one I just tried on, or the one I wore when I found out Vincent was a beast and nearly got blown up? Hey.
Shh.
Just because you know now doesn't mean everyone needs to know.
Oh, right.
Sorry.
I guess I'm still getting used to this.
But I'm glad I know now, Cat.
I mean, it might still creep me out, like, a little bit.
But at least you don't have to keep it a secret from me anymore.
Well, I'm glad you know, too.
But you do have to keep it a secret, even from your fiancé-- you know that, right? Yeah.
No, I know.
Okay.
But, I mean, at some point in time, I'll eventually have to tell him.
Otherwise, I'm lying to him, right? I can't wait for you to finally meet him.
As long as he treats you right, that's all that matters.
And if he doesn't, I can always just sic your boyfriend on him.
Heather! What? That's not a sisterly perk? Everything okay? Yeah.
It's just this case I'm working on.
I might have a lead.
Can you find your way back to the hotel? Sure.
That's fine.
Thank you.
I will call you.
And for the record, he is my perk, not yours.
Hey, get Dr.
Martin on that head wound in E.
R.
4; call Ortho, tell 'em we're sending them a compound fracture; and have Shannon prep triage-- we got inbound multiples.
Uh, excuse me.
Yo, are you ob-gyn? No.
No, you're not.
You're in E.
R.
3.
Jackson is 5.
Come on, people.
Excuse me.
Hi.
Hi.
I'm-I'm Dr.
Keller.
I believe I'm the new E.
R.
doctor.
I'm supposed to report here.
Oh, right.
I heard something about that.
Yeah.
Wait.
Aren't you the war hero everybody was after, the fugitive? I, uh, I was exonerated.
Someone was trying to frame me.
Welcome to New York Gen.
You're gonna work your ass off here-- it's nonstop.
We got an incoming construction accident.
Scaffolding fell or something.
So just dive right in.
Okay.
Discharge 'em or admit 'em, people.
We need the beds.
Oh, uh, one more thing.
Uh, do shifts usually finish on time here? Well, I-I got dinner with my, my girl tonight.
I'm finally finally gonna ask her to marry me, so Don't do it, hero.
Nobody stays married around here for long.
By the way, nice stethoscope-- it's very shiny.
Summering in The Catskills, baby Hey.
Hey.
No, no, it's all right, it's all right, don't get up.
You okay here? Me? Yeah.
Sure.
Fine.
Great.
Yep.
It's all good.
Breathe, JT.
Baby steps, remember? I know.
It's just hard.
I I mean, let's face it, I shouldn't even be here.
Yeah, but you got to start getting out sometime.
No.
I mean here as in alive, at all.
JT, don't start.
Tess, I've gone over my medical records a dozen times, I'm telling you, there's no way I should have survived that, I should be dead.
But you're not dead.
But only 'cause of whatever crazy medicine those DHS agents gave me, and I still can't figure it out.
And you're spinning again.
Well, what if I'm right? What if I'm not really supposed to be here? What am I supposed to do? You know what you're supposed to do? You're supposed to get off your damn pity pot and grow a pair.
Look, a terrible thing happened to you, all right? You almost died, that sucks.
But you didn't, you're alive.
It's a blessing, and you just want to waste it by looking over your shoulder for the Grim Freakin' Reaper.
Tess, people are watching.
I don't care, JT.
I've had it.
Look, I care about you, and I've been taking care of you, but no more.
You have to get over this.
You have to figure it out, all right? Because God doesn't make mistakes, you're here.
So, figure out the hell why, already.
Ugh.
Nobody beats Tyler.
At anything.
He's not the fastest rising stock analyst on the Street for nothing.
It's how we got all of this.
But you said he changed.
How? I don't know.
He just suddenly became more aggressive.
More ambitious.
Like, overnight.
I mean, he was always driven.
He always wanted to do whatever it took to get to the top, but But what? It's like he became a different person all of a sudden.
Somebody I didn't even recognize anymore.
First, he started working nonstop.
And then he started fighting.
With anybody and everybody that got in his way.
Then he got arrested, threatening to blow up his own office building.
He knocked out two guards and broke out of jail.
How could he do that? I don't I don't understand.
That's not Tyler.
What is happening to him? We've been scouring the city, looking for an innocent that fits the MO before they end up dead, and now we've got one.
It's a sad story, and I feel bad for her, but it's New York.
There are any number of stressed out workaholics losing it in this town.
They're not losing it like this guy is losing it.
Want to know how he got out of jail? Yeah, he knocked out two guards.
He jumped 60 feet, from one rooftop to the other, and then got away.
Which means what Tyler Zane did was impossible.
Do you get it? Somehow, somebody did this to Tyler.
Just like they did it to those other people that we showed you before.
You said that you would help if we found proof.
Well, help us find Tyler.
Help us find who's behind this so that nobody else gets hurt.
And get your boyfriend's ass out here to help, too.
Because God only knows what we're up against.
Tyler! She's not here yet, is she? No, no, don't worry.
You're early, and she'll be late.
Oh, traffic.
Women.
Voilà, your table.
Dozen red roses, candles, champagne.
Perfect.
Would you like to order appetizers, or wait? Uh No, no, I-I'll wait.
Very good.
Oh, one more thing.
Do you know how I would, uh, place the ring in her champagne glass, just so, you know, she doesn't well, swallow the thing before Place it in a strawberry, then pour.
That way, the ring will float to the top I'm sorry, please hold that thought.
Damn it.
Uh, is there any chance you could hold the table for me? I got to get back to the hospital.
Of course.
Thank you, much appreciated.
I will be back as soon as I can.
Hey, babe, I was just about to call you.
Can we push dinner just a little? I got to go back for some emergency.
I know.
I think I'm the emergency.
You recognize the assailant, Detective? No.
You see which direction he went after the attack? No.
Vincent, I am so sorry.
You okay? Yeah, I'm fine, just a little sore.
Look, uh, I'm Dr.
Keller, I'm one of the doctors here.
Do you mind holding off on the questions for a few minutes? Sure, no problem.
You're lucky.
Could have been a lot worse.
Is that Agent Thomas? Yeah.
Okay, Catherine, what is going on? What are you doing with him? I wasn't planning on doing anything with him.
But I just ow.
All right, let me take a look.
Where does it hurt? Just the back of my neck.
They've been calling ever since they saved JT.
I didn't want to bother you with it, I didn't want to upset our lives.
Well, it's a little too late for that now, isn't it? Where's Barnett? He's dead.
What? We were attacked by I don't know what.
It was fast.
It was violent.
It was unlike anything I've ever seen before.
Unlike anything we've ever seen before.
Catherine, why didn't you talk to me about this? You know, for a lot of reasons, the least of which-- you can't handle this stuff on your own.
You could have got yourself killed.
I know, and I only didn't bother you with it because I-I wanted to protect you.
I didn't expect Coding, he's coding.
Who's the on-call cardiologist? Don't move, okay? Page neurovascular.
I need a cardiologist in here, stat.
Where's RT? I need an RT here five minutes ago.
What do we know, Ian? Multiple sharp force entries.
We got them all, but he's still tachy, and he's hemorrhaging, and I can't figure out why.
All right, get the paddles ready.
Administer 10cc's of Lidocaine immediately.
And then I need everybody quiet, okay? Pushing Lidocaine.
Okay, we've got an ascending aortic puncture.
His heart must've gotten nicked somehow.
Get up to O.
R.
, stat.
Call cardio, tell them to prep for valvuloplasty, let's go, come on.
Go.
Move it.
Come on.
Get him there fast.
How the hell did he know that? Someone is experimenting on innocents, making them do things that they shouldn't be able to do.
No.
Sounds familiar.
Exactly, except in this guy's case, they've been able to somehow amplify his ambitious nature, and turn him into an adrenaline-charged psychopath, willing to destroy anyone or anything that gets in his way.
You thought you could handle that all on your own? I went to help interview Zane's wife, see if there was something that we needed to worry about.
Yeah, well, congratulations, Cat, 'cause there's a hell of a lot to worry about now, isn't there? I know you're upset.
Yeah, damn right, I'm upset.
I thought we talked about this, I thought we agreed that we wouldn't risk losing everything that we already have.
This doesn't have to.
The hell it doesn't, okay? We were supposed to celebrate tonight-- just you and me-- not get dragged back into all this crap again.
I am sorry about tonight, I am.
And I know how much it was No, you got no idea.
Look, I'm sorry, okay? I'm upset, it's a lot to process.
I just You know, I thought we were past all this.
Listen to me.
The last thing I want to do is put us at risk, you know that.
I love what we have, I love what our future holds, but there has got to be a reason why this keeps coming back to us, whether we like it or not.
If we've learned anything, it's that we are a part of something bigger, you and me, just like Alistair and Rebecca before us.
Can you really just walk away from that? Look, Catherine, we have been through hell and back again for, what, over two years now.
How long are we supposed to keep doing this for? What? When we're 50 or When do we just get to be normal? 'Cause every time I have to transform back into that thing, I risk crossing the line, I risk losing any inch of humanity I have left.
You know this.
You know what that means? We risk losing us.
I can't I can't do it.
I won't do it anymore.
I can't believe that you would.
Vincent.
Hey.
How'd it go? Did she like the ring? I don't know.
I didn't ask.
Hey.
I've been looking everywhere for you.
Hey, Heather, what are you doing here? I'm saying good-bye.
I'm going back to Miami, remember? Right.
I'm sorry.
I got a lot on my mind.
Well, so what else is new? I hope it's okay, I left a few things at the apartment.
Whoa.
Hey, is that you? What happened? It's nothing.
It does not look like nothing.
Are you all right? Yes, I'm fine.
I just I have a couple bruises.
Does Vincent know? Yeah, he knows.
Oh.
Oh, is? Is this a beast case? No.
I mean, yes, it is, sort of.
It's complicated.
Complicated how? No more secrets, remember? You can talk to me.
I don't know what to do.
You know how much I love Vincent.
I would do anything for him.
Are you guys fighting or something? Yeah.
Big-time fighting.
Problem is, I don't blame him.
He wants us to have a normal life, and so do I, but when stuff like that happens, I can't just put up blinders and pretend like everything's fine because it isn't.
On the other hand, if I do something about it, that gets Vincent involved, and aside from the fact that he doesn't want to be involved, it also puts his life at risk, and I don't want that either.
You mean, at risk because of the humanity thing? No, because of every thing.
I saw firsthand what he'd be up against, and it scares the hell out of me.
But it's my life, too, and I can't help feeling like I'm supposed to do something, that we are supposed to.
Yeah, well you can't make this decision on your own, Cat.
It's a couple's problem.
An admittedly unique couple's problem, but it's a couple's problem.
Which means you guys got to get in sync about it, make sure you're on the same page.
And the only way you're ever going to be able to do that is if you talk to each other.
So go find Vincent.
Finish your fight.
Yes! All right! I don't want a pep talk.
Well, too bad, 'cause you're gonna get one anyway.
Besides, considering all the pep talks I've had to suffer through lately, it's only fair.
All right, take a seat, but there's nothing to talk about.
Really? You go to propose to your girl and you come back all pissed off.
What happened? I don't know.
We just don't see eye-to-eye, that's all.
Since when? Since Catherine decided to become a beast hunter again, or whatever the hell is out there now.
Man.
Apparently, those DHS agents have been trying to recruit her, and-and now they're telling her that they found something.
So, that's it? That's why you didn't propose? JT, something attacked them, okay, killed one of the agents.
One's critical.
And Catherine's sure as hell lucky she wasn't killed, too.
I don't know, man.
It's I just I can't believe that she would put herself in that position.
You know, I-I can't believe that she would even want to.
Maybe she didn't think she had a choice.
I'm just saying, if there are still things that go bump in the night out there, what's she supposed to do? She can't just ignore it.
Vincent, I know how much you want a normal life, and God knows nobody deserves it more than you do, but let's get real.
You're not normal.
You're a beast.
Is this your idea of a pep talk? Look, Muirfield may have only cared about turning you into a super soldier originally, but it's become much more than that.
I mean, look at all the good you've done since.
Plus, with Rebecca and Alistair, ancient protobeasts, you can't deny you're part of something bigger, which means you can't just put your head in the sand and wish it all away.
So what? I just got to give up everything that I've ever wanted? Risk my life, Catherine's life, hell, even your life? Who says we got to keep doing this? Destiny? The agents saved my life for a reason, Vincent, but it wasn't for me.
They knew there was something out there, and they knew they'd need yours and Cat's help to stop it.
Believe me, I'm not thrilled any of this happened, either, but it has.
The only question left is, what are we going to do about it? Hey.
Excuse me.
Could you please find out what room Agent Jack Thomas has moved to? I think, fifth floor ICU.
Yeah, room 526.
How's he doing? He's listed as critical but stable.
Good, thanks.
Hey! Agent Thomas.
If you don't stop this who will? Nurse! Nurse! Vincent! Vincent, wait! Don't! Give me a break.
You can't park there! So you don't know for sure whether Zane's even in here or not? I remember his wife said he threatened to blow up his building.
It's all I've got.
This is all my fault.
W-Wait.
Maybe you ought to try calling Vincent again.
He's not answering and he's not going to.
I know that look.
He's on a mission, he's out for blood, which means I have to stop him before he stops Zane.
Wait.
I'm confused.
Don't we want Vincent to stop him? He may not be able to, and if he does, he'll kill him.
Either way, I lose Vincent.
I'm not following.
When DHS told us about a worse threat, they weren't kidding.
Vincent's never been up against anything like this before, and he might have to cross the line.
And he risks losing his humanity.
Unless I can stop him.
Plus, despite everything Zane's done, he's still an innocent, which means we have to save him, not kill him.
Yeah, along with everyone else in the building.
All right, I'll look for bombs, you look for Vincent.
All right, hurry, but don't panic.
Everybody out.
Come on, let's go.
Hey, can you check floors? Yeah.
Thanks.
Roof.
Hurry.
Vincent, no! Vincent! Aah! Vincent Listen to me, you-you cannot kill him.
He is an innocent.
Someone did this to him.
Someone experimented on him, just like Muirfield experimented on you.
Vincent, please don't.
If you do this, you will cross a line that you can never come back from, and I will lose you.
We will lose each other.
Vincent, we will lose everything.
Hope I'm not interrupting.
No, just working out.
Do you want me to leave? No.
I You know what, I don't know, I just I don't know what I want anymore.
Look, I'm sorry, okay? Of course Of course I want you, okay? That is never gonna change, you know that.
It's just, uh How's Zane? He's alive, thanks to you.
No, you mean thanks to you.
I was gonna kill the guy.
But you didn't-- you saved him.
And you saved yourself.
Again, thanks to you.
So what are they gonna do with him? Agent Thomas got him into a secure medical facility until they can figure out how to help him.
Well, if they can.
I mean, I don't know what they did to the guy, but whatever it was, they sure as hell turned him into something Extraordinary? That's how Thomas described it.
He said they're trying to push the limits of what's possible.
Yeah, well, they sure as hell did that.
And they're gonna keep doing it, too.
That's the point.
According to what they told me before, it's only just begun.
They're gonna keep using New York as their own private petri dish, using and killing innocent people until until God knows what.
And what-- I'm-I'm supposed to stop them? No, we're supposed to.
We're in this together, Vincent, or not at all.
I don't want to I don't want to force you into anything, and the last thing I want to do is put you in harm's way again.
But what choice do we have? Okay, and what about us? About our future-- does it does it count? Of course it counts.
I love you, Vincent.
More than anything.
But I believe that we can have both.
That-That we can overcom ready proven that.
But I believe that we can have both.
How many lives did we save today in that building? I don't know.
And what would have happened to them if you hadn't stopped Zane? We're here for a reason, Vincent, I know that.
We're together for a reason.
But it's not just to love each other.
Hey.
I need a drink.
Okay.
What do you want? Mm Can you make a cosmo? No.
Fine.
Scotch, rocks.
Make it a double.
What happened? Oh, you know-- same old, same old.
Stopping crazies from blowing up buildings, protecting a beast, covering for Cat.
Just another day at the office.
Yeah, but it's a day I thought was behind me.
I should have known our little beast hiatus was too good to be true.
Hey, where's the cane? Goodwill.
I decided somebody else probably needs it a little more than I do.
Really? It's about time.
Cheers.
Don't be so thrilled.
Did you get rid of the medical supplies, too? No, I kept those.
I mean, let's face it-- I may be getting better, but I'm still a hypochondriac.
Good for you, JT.
You just made my day suck less.
Thanks.
I think.
Seriously, though, what changed? Besides you kicking my ass? I don't know.
I guess I heard you.
And maybe I found the reason I'm still around.
An old reason, anyway.
You know that crappy day you had where you saved all those people? Yeah? It wouldn't have happened without me.
I mean, not directly because of me, obviously, but on some level, I helped Vincent realize he needed to do something to help.
Batman needs a Robin.
Something like that, yeah.
Still doesn't explain how that medicine saved me, but that's a tomorrow problem.
Come on.
No.
Where are we going? I don't know.
Out.
Where someone can make you a real cosmo.
All right.
Hey.
Hey.
I didn't know when I was gonna see you again.
I was giving you some space.
Yeah, uh, thanks.
Although part of me was just hoping you'd jump across the street and sweep me off my feet again.
Well, I'm sorry to disappoint.
Never.
You okay? Yeah.
Yeah, I just, I don't know.
My head's still spinning, it's been a it's been a rough couple of days.
You think? Look, uh Catherine.
You're right.
I know as much as I want a normal life, I can't have it.
I'm not normal.
And like it or not, and for the record I don't like it, I don't really have a choice.
We don't have a choice.
Vincent, you've been given a gift.
It might not have started out that way, but it has become that.
And if you think about it, it's really not much different from why you wanted to join the army or why you wanted to become a doctor.
Or why you wanted to become a cop.
I keep saying, I really believe that we're in this together for a reason, not just for love.
Except, without that, I'd be lost.
What are you doing? Just-- I'm making sure you don't fall.
Um Will you marry me? Ooh All my senses come to life Yes.
Yes? Yes.
While I'm stumbling home As drunk as I Yes.
Have ever been And I'll never leave again 'Cause you are the only one And all my friends have gone to find Another place to let their hearts collide Yes? Yes.
Just promise me you'll always be a friend 'Cause you are the only one.
