Doraemon (2014) s01e11 Episode Script

Escape From Score Zero

1 Hey, there.
My name is Doraemon.
I'm a super-sized, gizmo-ized, gadget cat from the future.
I get sent back in time to take care of this guy, Noby, but he's a mess! Doraemon! (Yelling) And that's where I come in.
To save the day with an amazing invention from my fourth dimensional secret gadget pocket.
But, things never turn out as planned.
Get ready, 'cuz here we go again.
(Noby's mom fuming) Mom: Ohh Arghh You've really done it this time.
Your mom's so mad right now.
She can't even form words.
I'll take her yelling at me over the silent treatment any day! Well, I can't say I blame your mom for being this upset, your last four tests have all come back with big fat F's.
Normally you only fail like every fifth test.
Yeah, and I've got another test tomorrow that I haven't studied for.
What is wrong with you?! Do you know what your mom will do if you fail that test?! I'm imagining it now and it really isn't pretty! (Both gulp) This is no time to be sitting around! Hit the books!!! On the double! But I'm just gonna fail! You're getting a passing grade if I have to sit here all night and watch you study! (Noby sighs) Umm Umm (Gasps) - I've got it! - Hmm? Hey, Doraemon, my favorite buddy, old pal, don't you have a little gadget called the compupencil? Denied! Unbelievable! This whole time all you've been thinking about is a way not to study! Now start filling that brain with something other than air! Maybe I can use the studybot.
Or We could do something else instead.
We could use the forget-o-rator on the teacher so he forgets to give the test.
Argghh All right, you've made your point, we'll try doing it your way! I'll study! (Grunting) Huh? (Chuckles) Everything going ok? Well, I am having a hard time concentrating.
I'm just having a little performance anxiety.
I might do a whole lot better if you weren't watching me.
Oh, okey-dokey.
So if you could just take a walk around the block I guess I could do that.
But you better not be goofing off.
Nope, nothing but my nose to the grindstone.
Hee hee hee hee! I'm so brilliant, I have an idea I'm a real live genius.
Yeah! I'll use the time machine! I'm just gonna fast-forward one week from now.
By then I'll have my test back after it's already been graded.
Then I'll know exactly which questions are gonna be on the test.
(Cackling) I'm so incredibly brilliant! Wait a second.
Even when I get that test back in the future all my answers are still gonna be wrong.
Ahh.
So instead of looking at my test, I'll just go look at somebody else's who actually studies, then I'll know the questions and the answers.
That means it's off to Sue's house to look at her returned test! Ha ha ha ha! (Chuckling) Okay, it's ten o'clock in the morning, which means Sue should be at school right now.
Let's see.
Where would she put her old tests? (Screams) (Crash) What's going on with her desk?! It's like there's an invisible field of force preventing me from reaching her desk.
Yep, that's it.
A force field.
Wait, I know! I bet this is Doraemon's handiwork! Grr! What have I ever done to make him not trust me?! Well, if he thinks I'll give up, he's got another thing comin'.
And so do you (Chuckles) I know Sue probably got an A on that test, but I'll bet Sneech will at least get a B.
I'll try his house next.
My brilliant plan is still super brilliant-y! Aaaah! You've gotta be kidding me! There's a force field here, too? Well, desperate times call for desperate measures.
Man, I'm cheating off of big g's test? I must be desperate.
Big g probably got a D, but I guess that's still better than an F.
Here goes.
Huh? Hee hee hee.
I should have known Doraemon wouldn't bother protecting anything inside big g's desk.
Oh, wise guy, eh? Think you can take me? Whaaaa! (Crash) (Ringing) I can't believe Doraemon! I bet he thinks he's a real smarty pants coming up with this plan.
Wait.
"Smarty pants.
" Yeah, that's it! I'll go look at Ace goody's test! Why didn't I think of this earlier? He's probably the only one who got an A-plus on that exam.
I'm still a genius! I'm gonna get an A-plus for sure! Sweet! No booby traps so far.
Hmm? Well, all right.
Looks like the coast is clear.
Not the test Not the test Over here Looking Gotta be here somewhere Man, where the heck can it be? Hey, lookin' for somethin'? Yeah, I'm trying to find what Ace would have done with that test we just took.
(Gasps) Who's there?! Wait a second, you're me! So what is I mean, what do you what am I doing here? I came here to stop myself.
I've realized it's not ok for me to take a sneak peek at this.
Wait! You've got it? Yep, I've got Ace's test right here.
Let me see! Nope, I'm not gonna let that happen.
Why not? You know how desperate I am right now.
If i don't see that test, I'll fail! I know all too well what it's like to be us, but something will happen to make you see stooping this low stinks.
Geez, rifling through your friends' stuff just to cheat on a test? Look, I know it sounds crazy, but we're better than this, and if we try really hard, we can even get an awesome grade like a C-plus! We've just gotta try this new thing I learned called studying! Wait a sec! Does this mean you're the one who put those traps on everyone's desks? Bingo! Why would you do that?! If you really are me, you know that's a horrible thing to do! Getting a look at that test right now is my only chance of survival! And I'm telling you, I'm not gonna let that happen! If that's how it's gonna be, Fine, I'll just have to make it happen.
(Growling) I'm doing you a favor.
Let's say you get an A on this test, but what happens when the next test comes around? What new low will you have to sink to after that to get a good grade? That's enough! Don't try to confuse me with common sense! Now show me that test already! Like talking to a wall.
I tried to use reason, but now I'll have to knock some sense into you! (Grunting, smacking) (Laughing) I knew bringing fists of force gloves would come in handy.
Hey, that's not fair.
That's cheating.
Yeah, that's kinda my point.
When you cheat, you only hurt yourself.
Doraemon: Gosh dang it, Noby! Where have you been?! This is no time to be slacking off! - Yeah, you may have a point.
- I what? Don't you use se psychology on me! Now, no more fooling around! You sit there and study! Whaoo? You're really doing it.
I've run out of options.
You see, the only thing I could do to pass this test now is study.
Studying.
Oh, what a novel approach that is.
This calls for the time valve! This little guy here can control the flow of time.
I say we crank it down as tight as it goes! (Wind whistles, slows down) Whoa.
I've never cranked it down this far before.
Time's moving slower than a snail in molasses! Okey-dokey, you're all set! Now put that brain to work, Noby! Doraemon: You can do this, Noby.
I know it! I did it! I am a genius! (Laughing) Mom: Would you look at that! C-plus! I'm so proud of you! I knew you could be average if you tried.
Finally, a passing grade! I can't believe it! This is amazing! - All your hard work paid off! - Yeah.
I say we frame it and put it on the wall! Let's not get carried away.
I'm just proud of you, Noby.
I never thought this day would come! Then again, it is a C-plus.
I get it's not the highest score in the world, but knowing I got this score all on my own without having to cheat or anything I just realized something! I know this is weird, but I need to borrow a few of your gadgets! The old me is going to everyone's house tomorrow to try to get a sneak peek at this test! I've gotta stop myself! I don't know what ou're talking about, but okay.
(Beeping) All right, here goes.
Sometimes learning your lesson means taking a few on the chin.
Doraemon! D-Doraemon! I have a history test tomorrow.
Make me historically not-stupid super fast.
Wait, I know.
He studybot will work.
Hand it over.
Huh? Hey, Doraemon, come on, wake up already! (Haywire electrical sounds) (Distorted) Uh, Noby, Welcome ho Welcome what? Hey, buddy, what's wrong? You're making some weird noises there.
(Distorted) Ah, what do you mean, weird noise? I'm just a little ti Doraemon! (Distorted) Weird noise? Um, there's something seriously wrong with you.
You need to go to the repair shop.
Just when was your last checkup? It's called the robot hospital.
Whatever it's called, you need to go! I'm tellin' ya I'm not doing it! Why are you being so darn stubborn about this? Wait, I know what it is.
- You think I'll get in trouble while you're gone, don't you? - Hmmmm? Listen, I can handle being alone for one day while you go get a checkup! You sure about that? Of course! Watch, I'll get an A on that history test! Uh, maybe a B.
No, or even a C, but I am gonna pass it! And when I pass, will you get a checkup?! Okay, you're on.
If you get a C without my help, I'll do it! Grrrr! We've got a deal! Whatever! Doraemon! (Haywire electrical sounds) Electronic voice: Circuit malfunction.
Unable to restore.
Circuit malfunction.
To avoid a critical component failure, the system must reboot.
What are you talking about? Doraemon, wake up! I guess you're right, I do need that checkup.
Oh, no! If you're saying that, it must be bad! All right, that's it.
I'm taking you to the hospital now! It's no use.
It's too La aa rebooting systems.
Attempting auto-reboot.
Ten minutes until critical component failure.
(Beeping) What do you mean "attempting"?! What if the auto-reboot doesn't work?! How can I help? Do I need to do some kind of manual reboot? Is there a button? Is this it? I'm just gonna keep pushing places and hope I find something.
Tell me if I hit it.
Yep, that's it.
But my tummy should be opened at the robot hospital.
It's in your tummy? I have an idea.
I'll shrink myself and go inside and reset it manually.
Open up and say "ahh.
" - That's too dangerous.
- Huh? What if you slip and mess up all the really high-tech stuff? Or if you fall into the dissolve-it-all stomach and get liquefied and converted into energy particles? If you're drained into the particle tube, it'll be awful! (High-pitched) A superconductor accelerator will Our reboot has failed.
Must reboot system manually.
(Beeping) Eight minutes until critical component failure.
Eight minutes! I'm running out of time! (Distorted) All right, Noby, you'll need this.
Hmm? Take it with you, okay? It's a map of of all my innards Gotcha.
Wha wha-ha-ha! (Grunting, screaming) Aaah! Not a good start! Oh, man, this looks so complicated.
I have no clue which way I should go.
I guess I'll just head over this way.
Doraemon: Noby, that's not a good spot.
Wait, what? Aaaah! That's the entrance to the dissolve-it-all stomach! Warn me a little sooner next time! I told you this was too dangerous.
(Grunting, whimpering) (Screaming) (Crash, clank) Noby? Did I just hear a weird sound? Are you all right in there? Y-yeah, all g-good.
Perfect.
Noby, tell me where you are! Wait, give me a sec.
If the red point shows where I am, then I'm all the way down at your knee! The reboot button is in the center of my body.
You need to start heading back up in that direction (Voice distorts) Six minutes until critical component failure.
How ya holding up, Doraemon? I guess I'm hanging in there.
A dead end.
I guess I'll have to try another way.
Hmm? Maybe if I go through this (Grunting) Noby, don't touch anything strange around there.
(Distorted) Don't touch anything (Screams) What happened, Noby? Aaaaah! It's a pipe or something! I'm being washed down! Noby, those are my anti-robo-bodies! They combat invading germs! That means you! Get out of there! (Whimpering) Hot buns! Hot buns! Whew.
I thought my biscuits were burned.
Four minutes until critical component failure.
I'm running out of time! Almost there.
Whoa.
(Loud beating) Amazing! Is this Doraemon's heart? Two minutes until critical component failure.
Oh, no, I've got less than two minutes! Oh, great.
There's a fork in the road.
What's the right choice? Hey, Doraemon! Left or right? Which way should I go? A little help here? Doraemon? Not good.
I can't wait, I've gotta go.
Well, I guess I'll guess.
But I might guess wrong.
(Roaring) Holy cow, I don't like the sound of that! (Roaring) (Screaming) Huh? Oh, man Now I've really got myself lost.
If I retrace my steps, maybe I can figure out where I am.
I'll just head back.
But-but which way did I come from? Oh, no, I don't remember! Doraemon!!! One minute until critical component failure.
System lockdown initiated.
All circuits will be cut off.
What gives? What's going on? Hey, wait for me! If I don't reboot him, Doraemon will be broken for good! (Grunting) Open up!!! Come on, buddy, wake up already! Thirty seconds until critical component failure.
Doraemon! Huh? The anywhere door? Hi! (Gibberish) Whoa, it's a mini-Doraemon.
Where are we going? Whoa!!! I have to go up there?! (Whimpering) Aaaaah! (Screaming) - Here goes nothin'.
- Go there, Noby (Gibberish) (Yells) (Gibberish) Thanks, little guy.
Twenty seconds (Grunting) (Gibberish) Ten seconds (Straining) Five seconds I won't fail you, buddy! Agghh! Whoa! (Beeping rapidly) (Continuous tone) (Silence) Hmmm Doraemon? Huh? Doraemon! Hey.
Hiya, Noby.
I can't believe it! You're all right! Yeah, I think the reboot worked.
Oh, no, my test! Aaaaah! I'll fail! Look how late it is! There's no time to study! Come on, lend me the studybot! Scratch that.
Forget it.
I made you a promise.
I'm gonna see if I can pass this one on my own.
Noby, you're a good pal.
And as much as I don't want to get that checkup, a deal's a deal.
(Power tool whirring) There.
You're all tuned up.
Ahhhh This is why I can't stand hospitals.
It wouldn't be so bad if you came in regularly.
I know.
But I reinstalled your firmware so now you're in great shape! Sweet! See ya soon! Yeah-ha-ha! But not that soon!
