And, in this 2-hour Halloween "Ghost Adventures" special, we take a spine-chilling road trip in search of the Devil himself.

This Halloween is gonna be unlike any other for the "Ghost Adventures" crew.
We are taking our darkest journey ever.
And we invite you.
We have a very special Halloween road trip planned, our very own Route 666 beginning in Nevada and headed farther south.
But, where we're going, there's more to worry about than the heat.
We're headed to Texas to follow the unholy trail of Satan himself from town to town, portal to portal.
Our first stop on this terrifying road trip is El Paso, Texas, a city in peril, a community trapped beneath the cloak of one of the most dangerous places on Earth.
Now, guys, you see all those SUVs over there, those white ones with the sirens on 'em? They're drivin' back and forth along that wall right there because, on the other side, in 2010, that right there was called the murder capital of the world.
Guys, that's Juarez.

Juarez has become the murder capital of the world.
ZAK: This is a battleground for drug cartels.
There's literally thousands of unsolved homicides.
Just imagine what kind of dark energy is resonating from this place, contaminating everywhere around it.
And demons are feeding off of that energy.
They're here.
They've created nests all around this area and right here in El Paso, the borderland of hell.
Right now, I'm takin' you guys to one of the most dangerous locations that we've ever been.
This is how we're startin' off our Halloween.
Right now, we are walking up on the De Soto Hotel.
There has been, and there still is, Satanic worshiping rituals in there.
They even claim that the Devil himself is in the basement.
There have been attacks.
There have been scratches, possessions.
In 1973, a Satan worshiper broke into the De Soto Hotel and ransacked one of the rooms.
Once arrested, he invoked curses on the officers who jailed him.
They need our help to find out what this entity is because none of the employees here will go down into the basement.
This building has served as a hotel since its inception in 1905.
Today, it offers inexpensive housing for long-term tenants.

He was thrashing his body up in the air.

All of a sudden, a reverend shows up and gives us a warning not to stir up what's in the basement.

So, when we came down here, we saw a pentagram on the floor.
At the very top was the the symbol of the infinity, but also with two crosses above that.
So that immediately told me it was something bad, something Satanic.
People started to feel like they got pebbles or coins or something being thrown at them.
These people Reverend Flores is referring to are tour groups who used to visit the basement.
After they heard pebbles thrown like we did earlier, they were viciously attacked.
And so he was called to come help.
Tours were never allowed again.

The chin of the pentacle was pointing east.

And I step in the center of this ritual Yup.

And this is where I was affected at.

My terrifying experience last night has made me believe that the residue from these rituals truly leaves the gateways wide open to Hell.
If I could feel the evil just by stepping into it, then maybe visiting another place full of these portals will enable us to face the Devil himself.

It lies there in the heart of the City of the Sun Place where I'll lay when my days are done By the banks of the river, that old Rio Grande In Concordia, they'll bury me in old El Paso sand ZAK: Founded in 1856, with over 60,000 bodies buried here, we want to dig up answers from this highly Satanic-worshipped site to see just what happens when someone opens up these doorways to Hell.
Is it true that Richard Ramirez, the notorious serial killer, the Night Stalker, he practiced Satanic rituals Mm-hmm.
He was about as scary as a human being the Devil could possibly make.
Is it true that he himself did Satanic rituals in this cemetery? Yes.

REPORTER: Richard Ramirez, a drifter from El Paso, Texas, and a self-described Satan worshipper, began his reign of terror in June 1984.
Ramirez had gone on a killing rampage so grisly that Deputy District Attorney Phil Halpin said Ramirez had probably rewritten the book on serial murders.
Richard Ramirez practiced his dark magic.

It was here, in the Concordia Cemetery, amongst these thousands of corpses, that he began worshipping Satan.
Was the man who tried to kill at the De Soto Hotel possessed by the same powerful energy as Richard Ramirez? What would have happened to me if I'd stayed longer within the circle whose dark power is still burning in the basement of the hotel? What -- why do you think that there's so much Satanic rituals in El Paso? I never knew.

We are now getting ready to begin our investigation at the De Soto Hotel.
Things are a little different because, this investigation, it's only gonna be Jay, Aaron and myself.
I've sent Billy over to the Concordia Cemetery.
He will be tackling that entire cemetery alone.
We are in the parking lot right now because we are trying to be very stealthy so that nobody sees us go inside the hotel.
All the residents are here.
The only vacant part of the building is the basement.
And that's where we're headed right now to begin our investigation.
Our audiovisual tech, Jay Wasley, is monitoring a live nerve center from a room inside the massive basement.
He will be focusing his eyes and ears on four areas that are known hot spots for negative activity.

All of a sudden, Aaron and myself smell something putrid and decomposing near the entrance to the basement.
We immediately ask the maintenance man to come over and help us try to debunk this strange smell.

Could this be the demon responsible for possessing a resident? And is it now manifesting as a warning not to go downstairs? Do you go in the basement? No, I don't.

With a minister finding evidence of radical dark rituals, combined with possessions with intent to kill, every step we take down these stairs feels like a step closer to Hell.

Dude, get in here now! ZAK: Our lockdown continues with Billy just 3 miles from the De Soto Hotel, in the Concordia Cemetery.
He heads to an area referred to as the Three Trees, which is known for paranormal activities, such as tall shadow figures, glowing orbs of light and even unexplained growling sounds.
This is also a documented site where serial killer Richard Ramirez, known as the Night Stalker, worshipped the Devil.
BILLY: I'm going to say a prayer that should clear evil spirits.
What I think it's gonna do is really piss 'em off.
Through the blood of Jesus, Concordia is redeemed out of the hand of the Devil.
And all of her sins are forgiven.
Concordia is justified and made righteous, just as if she had never sinned.
She is set apart for God.
Her body is a temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus, amen.
They know that I'm here.
They know what I'm tryin' to do.
In fact -- [ Cawing, Billy screams .]
Oh, my God.
ZAK: Within seconds of completing the prayer, a crow flies out of one of the three trees directly towards Billy while shrieking loudly.
And as Billy looks at where the bird came from, he sees three unexplained dark figures directly behind the three trees.
This causes him to panic in fear.
So he hides behind one of the trees on the right-hand side of the screen.
Watch very closely in the center of your screen as these three dark, unknown figures seem to move in a strange tandem march from left to right, leaving the trees.
When we zoom in on the three figures, our visual analysis determines that they don't appear to be living people.
Because, as they move, their outlines seem to undulate in odd, wave-like manner.
It seems as though everything is happening in threes for Billy.
Even on his way to the cemetery, he filmed this billboard.
Billy is not caught between these synchronicities of evil.
What does this mean for him? My heart just dropped.
Right over there.
I don't know how much more of this I can take tonight.
This is un-- I just wanna get out of here.
ZAK: Billy is so utterly terrified and panicked because he keeps seeing these same three figures all around him, that the police are called.
Billy tells the two police officers what he has seen.
But the question remains, are these trespassers, devil worshipers, or three demonic entities that have been seen here before? Back at the De Soto Hotel, Aaron and I seem to be poking this demo with a stick.
And it's starting to show its aggravation.
On the upper floors, we have secretly placed GoPro cameras so that we can monitor the floors and residents.
All of a sudden, one of the cameras, which we have secured extremely well with clamps and heavy gaff tape unexplainably seems to get ripped off the wall by an unseen force.
Thirty minutes later, some of the De Soto hotel residents discover the camera on the ground.
[ Exhales raspily .]
ZAK: Aaron and I are now separated in the massive basement at the De Soto Hotel.
I feel we are both starting to lose ourselves mentally because of this powerful entity.
You're draining my energy! Who do you claim to be? What do you do down here? What happened? Bro? Dude, get in here now! Bro Dude! Bro Dude! Bro Dude, get in here, now! So, listen, Demon, I know that you like to pretend to be a little girl.
Let me hear that little girl voice.
"I'm in control.
" You are to leave this building.
We heard yelling and screaming up here.
Something is hissing over here.
ZAK: It's early morning at the De Soto Hotel.
And we just received what we believe is a clear warning.
"I'm in control.
" You don't like that we win at this.
You don't like that the good has been the better.
And you're the bad.
You don't like that, do you? If you're so you're evil, then you would still be here.
As Jay is watching Aaron and I received the spirit box saying "I'm in control in the highlighted video square, he notices that one of his camera joystick controllers begins moving all by itself.
It takes Billy a while to regain his composure after seeing these three dark, unexplained figures.
But, once his bravery sets in, he begins using his mag camera to try and locate them.
BILLY: What MagCam is doing right now is it's sweeping, looking for changes in the electromagnetic field.
The average is on the right side.
The intensity level's on the left side.
When there's more than a 10 percent change, MagCam will snap off some pictures.
That's coyote.
Yeah, it's a wild animal.
ZAK: During Billy's mag camera sweep of the entire cemetery, all he finds evidence of are some wild coyotes.
I think this is one time Billy is glad he didn't capture these three unexplained figures on his MagCam.
At this point, Aaron and myself are sick and tired of being messed with by this entity.
So we decide to try to do something to piss it off and banish it.
Hang on.
What are you gonna do? I'm wanna piss it off.
I wanna get it out of here.
I just saw it standin' right here next to the circle.

ZAK: All of a sudden, I feel that this entity is trying to use Jay and Aaron against me.
So I split them up by sending Jay back to nerve center.
But, as soon as he gets there, my thoughts become a reality.
Aaron and I quickly head to nerve center to check on Jay.
And, while we're observing him acting strangely, we begin hearing people fighting just at the top of the stairs, because nerve center is located directly below the front lobby.
[ Indistinct voices .]
We just heard people fighting up here.
That was right after Jay said, "Hurry up and put salt on the stairs up here so it doesn't go up here.
Right.
So take this off night vision and kinda don't act like you're filming.

We heard yelling and screaming up here.
It was like murder.

Zak, look! GoPro's gone! You up here? As we head back downstairs, we decide to take one last walk down the long front hallway before returning to the basement.
You guys ever heard of the pentagram of blood? ZAK: We are close to wrapping up our investigation here in El Paso, Texas, when Jay witnesses one of the most compelling pieces of evidence we have ever captured.

Watch as this ceiling fan seems to slide across the top of the bookcase, then changes directions 90 degrees as it gets thrown straight down on the ground.
This entity has returned to its nest.
And it is not yet done giving us evidence of its existence.

All of a sudden, the light directly above the ceiling fan mysteriously turns on.
And, on top of all the evidence surrounding this major poltergeist moment, we later realize that, when I was doing the cleansing with the sage, which angered this entity, I unknowingly hit the fan with the burning sage, which we believe marked this object to be violently thrown down.
Whatever is in this basement is very responsive and just as angry.

And, as you pass through every tree, you're just hitting it.
You can feel that static energy.
So, while we're here, I want the portals of this forest wide open.
Anything that's been conjured here, anything dark at all, you are to come through.
Something in this forest is aware that we're here.
Something in this forest is gonna greet us when that sun goes down.

Okay, right now, we are standing, uh, at the entrance of Goatman's Bridge.
This bridge was the centerpoint for something that you saw with your own eyes? Yes.
It was very late at night, between probably 2:00 and 3:00.
We were doing an EVP station in the center of the bridge.
And I kept seeing something out of the corner of my eye coming through the thicket of the woods.
Over there? Yes.
You couldn't help but stare at the face because it had a goat head on it, horns wrapped around the front of his head.
ZAK: According to legend, in the 1930s, there was a black man named Oscar Washburn, who was a prosperous goatherder.
He placed a sign at the foot of the Old Alton Bridge that enraged the local Ku Klux Klan.
In the dark of the night, they lynched Oscar on that very same bridge.
When they looked below to survey their bloody work, the goatherder had somehow disappeared.
The Klansmen proceeded to burn down his house and butcher his family.
There are those who believe that Oscar now haunts the woods in a half-man, half-goat form.
Whether a vengeful spirit or something more, there's no doubt that, when the sun goes down, these woods come alive.

One evening, Belynda and a group of friends witnessed something disturbing in this forest.

What is that? The rituals taking place at both of these locations have opened portals to something much darker than a single spirit, something truly demonic.

I had turned around in time to see her about 2 feet off the ground.

He was trying to throw her off the bridge.

We did have a group out here that had drawn a pentagram in the middle of the bridge and tried to set it on fire.
If they're out here and, uh, they find somebody that's completely alone with nobody else around him for miles, bad things can happen.

I'm trying really hard to keep my cool and not get all scared and rock this boat and roll over 'cause this thing could flip instantly.

ZAK: All of a sudden, Billy hears a distant gunshot in the woods.
And it's much louder and closer to Ashley.

ZAK: As we have the local police department securing a large perimeter around this forest, we are very curious to know where this unexplained gunshot came from.
Right as we were about to radio Ashley to come back to base, something makes its presence known to her, both audibly and visually.
ASHLEY: Why are you doin' this to people? Is there something I need to know? Ah! Okay.

Is there something I need to know? Ah! ZAK: Soon after Ashley freaks out from hearing something growl at her, she amazingly stands her ground and remains in the woods, at which time she begins seeing this very oddly-shaped glowing anomaly with her own eyes.
ASHLEY: Oh, my God.
I don't know if you can see it.
It was, like, a weird light.
I don't know how to explain it.
It was just a weird light right over there.
And it's not there anymore.
Who are you? ZAK: When Ashley returns to base, we notice a swollen welt on the side of her face where earlier she felt this unseen force knock her to the ground.

Soon after this investigation, Ashley, who has been our still photographer on "Ghost Adventures" for years, sadly had to quit the show after suffering a very serious attachment that she is still dealing with today.
After seeing the female member of our crew physically marked and in pain, our suspicions of these woods and bridge being haunted by an evil creature are quickly becoming a reality.

These eyes are free-floating in midair.

He will be focusing his eyes and ears on four areas that are known hot spots for negative activity.

He heads to an area referred to as the Three Trees, which is known for paranormal activities, such as tall shadow figures, glowing orbs of light and even unexplained growling sounds.
This is also a documented site where serial killer Richard Ramirez, known as the Night Stalker, worshipped the Devil.
BILLY: I'm going to say a prayer that should clear evil spirits.
What I think it's gonna do is really piss 'em off.
Through the blood of Jesus, Concordia is redeemed out of the hand of the Devil.
And all of her sins are forgiven.

ZAK: Within seconds of completing the prayer, a crow flies out of one of the three trees directly towards Billy while shrieking loudly.
And as Billy looks at where the bird came from, he sees three unexplained dark figures directly behind the three trees.
This causes him to panic in fear.
So he hides behind one of the trees on the right-hand side of the screen.
Watch very closely in the center of your screen as these three dark, unknown figures seem to move in a strange tandem march from left to right, leaving the trees.
When we zoom in on the three figures, our visual analysis determines that they don't appear to be living people.
Because, as they move, their outlines seem to undulate in odd, wave-like manner.
It seems as though everything is happening in threes for Billy.
Even on his way to the cemetery, he filmed this billboard.
Billy is not caught between these synchronicities of evil.
What does this mean for him? My heart just dropped.

ZAK: Billy is so utterly terrified and panicked because he keeps seeing these same three figures all around him, that the police are called.

On the upper floors, we have secretly placed GoPro cameras so that we can monitor the floors and residents.
All of a sudden, one of the cameras, which we have secured extremely well with clamps and heavy gaff tape unexplainably seems to get ripped off the wall by an unseen force.
Thirty minutes later, some of the De Soto hotel residents discover the camera on the ground.

ZAK: Aaron and I are now separated in the massive basement at the De Soto Hotel.
I feel we are both starting to lose ourselves mentally because of this powerful entity.

And we just received what we believe is a clear warning.

As Jay is watching Aaron and I received the spirit box saying "I'm in control in the highlighted video square, he notices that one of his camera joystick controllers begins moving all by itself.

And, while we're observing him acting strangely, we begin hearing people fighting just at the top of the stairs, because nerve center is located directly below the front lobby.

And, on top of all the evidence surrounding this major poltergeist moment, we later realize that, when I was doing the cleansing with the sage, which angered this entity, I unknowingly hit the fan with the burning sage, which we believe marked this object to be violently thrown down.
Whatever is in this basement is very responsive and just as angry.

You can feel that static energy.
So, while we're here, I want the portals of this forest wide open.

This bridge was the centerpoint for something that you saw with your own eyes? Yes.
It was very late at night, between probably 2:00 and 3:00.
We were doing an EVP station in the center of the bridge.
And I kept seeing something out of the corner of my eye coming through the thicket of the woods.
Over there? Yes.
You couldn't help but stare at the face because it had a goat head on it, horns wrapped around the front of his head.
ZAK: According to legend, in the 1930s, there was a black man named Oscar Washburn, who was a prosperous goatherder.
He placed a sign at the foot of the Old Alton Bridge that enraged the local Ku Klux Klan.
In the dark of the night, they lynched Oscar on that very same bridge.
When they looked below to survey their bloody work, the goatherder had somehow disappeared.
The Klansmen proceeded to burn down his house and butcher his family.
There are those who believe that Oscar now haunts the woods in a half-man, half-goat form.
Whether a vengeful spirit or something more, there's no doubt that, when the sun goes down, these woods come alive.

I had turned around in time to see her about 2 feet off the ground.

He was trying to throw her off the bridge.

Like, in your eyes, I've never seen that before.
I noticed it at the bridge.

All the way around this river, it just winds back into this endless amount of forest.

I'm trying really hard to keep my cool and not get all scared and rock this boat and roll over 'cause this thing could flip instantly.
If I were to just lean wrong one way, all the gear, everything, would be in the river.

ZAK: All of a sudden, Billy hears a distant gunshot in the woods.
And it's much louder and closer to Ashley.

ZAK: As we have the local police department securing a large perimeter around this forest, we are very curious to know where this unexplained gunshot came from.
Right as we were about to radio Ashley to come back to base, something makes its presence known to her, both audibly and visually.
ASHLEY: Why are you doin' this to people? Is there something I need to know? Ah! Okay.

Is there something I need to know? Ah! ZAK: Soon after Ashley freaks out from hearing something growl at her, she amazingly stands her ground and remains in the woods, at which time she begins seeing this very oddly-shaped glowing anomaly with her own eyes.
ASHLEY: Oh, my God.
I don't know if you can see it.
It was, like, a weird light.
I don't know how to explain it.
It was just a weird light right over there.
And it's not there anymore.
Who are you? ZAK: When Ashley returns to base, we notice a swollen welt on the side of her face where earlier she felt this unseen force knock her to the ground.
