We have worked years to build our credibility, our reputation, working alongside the most renowned professionals in the field, capturing groundbreaking proof of the paranormal.

ZAK: This is our evidence, our "Ghost Adventures.
" ZAK: We're here on Route 50, the loneliest road in America.
Travel long enough down it's winding paths through the foothills of Nevada, and you will eventually find yourself in a small mining town called Eureka, settled in 1864, population just over 600.
They found massive amounts of silver here.
So much silver, in fact, that it was the second highest rated mineral producer in the state of Nevada.
We are here to investigate two locations that are known as the most extreme, in terms of activity.
The location behind me is one of them, the Jackson House.
The employees are being affected so badly, they won't even work.
The second location that we're going to be investigating is the Eureka Saloon and Cafe.
The reason why we're here to investigate is what lies underneath this building.
It's called the underground cathedral.
When mining was going on here, the Chinese laborers, the Chinese miners, they were tormented.
They were abused.
They were beaten, some were even murdered.
They sought refuge in these tunnels down here.
Many people say it is the energy that is inside of these tunnels that carries forth all of the dark energy that affects every building in this town.
Initially walking into this hotel, it seemsIt's open.
Well, we just reopened 4 years ago, this building.
Okay.
Before that, it was closed for a very long time.
And since we've reopened, it's been nonstop activity.
So is there a little problem that you're having here? Many guests won't stay here.
They'll come in, they'll check in, they'll walk upstairs, and within 10 minutes they're back at the main hotel and say, "I can't stay there.
" Soon as you walk in the building, you feel a high alert right away.

It's always upstairs in the Jackson Suite where you really feel the most of it.
It's like a heaviness overcomes you.

I can't Did another male spirit tell us why? Because there's a dark here? And did this same spirit confirm what Kim told us earlier about the dark entity residing in the Suite? I want to know who this negative entity is that's preventing other spirits from speaking with us.
We meet Adam, who claims he knows exactly who this entity is but strangely won't reveal it to us.

ZAK: But before we can pursue this manhunt further, we have one more important interview we must conduct in the Jackson House Hotel, to speak with the employee who was attacked inside the Jackson suite.
So I understand that you had quite a terrifying experience back in the Jackson suite? -Mm-hmm.
-And it was fairly recent? Yes.
It was just a few months ago.
I had come in to start getting the suite ready.
We had, you know, people coming to stay.
So I went into this bathroom here, and I was vacuuming out the windowsill.
I had my hand on the counter, and all of a sudden I've got a really hot feeling running down my arm, and when I looked I had a raised scratch.
I didn't hear anything.
I didn't see anything.
It was just there.
Whenever I come into this building, I always, you know, talk to 'em, "Hey, guys, I'm here to, you know, straighten up.
If you don't want me here, let me know.
" I took that as they didn't want me here.
It was, uh, quite terrifying.
ZAK: After that happened, have you noticed anything out of the ordinary? The last few months, I haven't slept well.
I've been sleeping in, like, hour intervals.
Don't know why, I just wake up, and then I'm up for about an hour, and then I go back to sleep.
I've been having problems with, like, my short-term memory over the last couple of months as well.
-Has this just started -Yes.
-after that experience? -Yes.
It was shortly after that.
Myself, Aaron, and Kim, we were all affected right here where the green carpet meets the pink carpet.
Mm-hmm.
If you were to see this visually, it would be like a film right here -Mm-hmm.
-that's kind of glowing, and as soon as you stick your hand through it, you now feel this, and this energy here is is it's infused by the spirit to leave.

This amazing synchronicity feels as though some greater purpose is leading our investigation here, to its second location.
I am eager to speak with Rich further, but first, I need to hear more from his wife.
Since their unrenovated saloon is very dusty, and because of my allergy-induced asthma, I must wear a mask while I'm inside.
I understand that you experienced something a little scarier? About a month ago, I had a gal meet me in here to talk about what we're gonna do cosmetically to the bar.
And as she and I were leaving, as soon as I crossed the threshold, I heard a growl.
ZAK: Another negative, even possessive experience at a threshold inside one of these historic buildings.
I am beginning to notice a pattern here in Eureka.
It wasn't a human growl.
-It was a guttural -It was guttural.
It was feral, and the second it happened, it was, like, an energy as well, maybe? Okay.
ZAK: We have been told that Rich's great-great-uncle haunts many of the buildings here.
But is a dead ancestor really the one who viciously growled at his wife, or is there something else that waits here? [ Laughs .]

ZAK: If something dark is here, interfering with Rich's business, the source might be in the tunnels built by the oppressed Chinese laborers, their misery and suffering digging itself deep into the soil, as eternal as the pathways they have left behind.
RICH: So, Zak, this was the room where the different tunnels went off to different parts of the town.

ZAK: At the same time that Jay and Aaron feel this force between them, listen closely as they also capture an unknown voice saying "Jay.

Billy and myself are investigating the Jackson House.
Billy and I will focus on this malevolent spirit that we came to find out its identity, the spirit's identity.

So we're going to go in there with his identity known by us and let this spirit know that we know who it is and see what happens then.
Aaron and Jay are right down the street.
They are just getting ready to begin their investigation at the Eureka Saloon and Cafe, all those underground tunnels beneath there dug by the Chinese laborers, the underground cathedral, and both of them had a terrifying experience last night.
There is something dark there, and the owners say that they are hearing growling.
So I am praying for their safety.
-Billy, are you ready? -I'm ready, man.

Man, I am so scared of downstairs but we haven't been upstairs yet, so Okay, so Billy and I are going to start out by using the structured light sensor camera.
And we want to visually see this spirit.
BILLY: He seems like a strong spirit, that he could probably show himself if he wanted to, if he's moving mirrors.
The mirror in the middle of the night flew off Are you serious? broke behind this door.
We have to be really, really careful because this spirit is already documented and proven to attack living people through scratches and affect them psychologically.
Look, we're here to help the owner of this hotel.
She owns this, and you're giving her problems.
You understand that? You're vandalizing.
[ Footsteps .]

"Hang"! Oh, my God, dude! Come here! I just was walking through the hall, and it says, "Hang," right? -Right.
Look what I'm standing next to! -Oh, my -Right? It just said "Hang.
" That's the only thing that's come through.
AARON: Whoa.

Did you hang yourself in this hotel? [ Oscillating static .]
Look, we -- we're here about growls.
Could you tell us who that is? Did you just hit the noose? I-I bumped it.

-Reverend.
-[ Gasps .]
ZAK: Now the spirit comes through and says "Reverend.
" Could this be the evil spirit that growled at the owner's wife, and is it referring to this noose as a way to hang the Reverend? Whoa.
[ Gasps .]
ZAK: After hearing this response, Aaron and Jay decide to bless the noose by hanging a rosary on it, at which time they suddenly begin smelling the horrible stench of urine.
Smell right here.
It smells like piss.
Like, a bum hung out here and peed in it.
-Do you smell it? -Yeah.
-You smell that, huh? -Right here.
It smells like someone pissed in here and it's been sitting here.
Dude, why does it keep changing? -[ Indistinct shout .]
-[ Gasps .]
What was that? [ Aaron and Jay speaking indistinctly .]

-ZAK: He's holding you! ZAK: Aaron and Jay are alone in the Eureka Saloon and Cafe when, for the second time, some unknown presence makes it clear they are not welcome.
Something just hissed at me, bro.
We were walking down the steps, and something literally just goes [ Hisses .]
'Cause you're like, "No, leave the cameras.
" We have -- in case something comes down the steps at us.
" JAY: Yeah.
Right when you said that, I hear a ZAK: Okay, right now, we're gonna turn the corner to the Jackson suite.
This is the evil suite.
This is where earlier, we did capture an intelligent response to our question about, "What is the name of this suite?" -Jackson.
-Jackson! Look, we're about ready to come into your suite.
As we make our way through the suite, we both have severe anxiety as we begin feeling a very strong, unwelcoming presence, a presence that also shows itself to us.
This is where Allie got attacked, back here.
-In this bathroom, the scratch? -Yeah.

-Whoa.
-What? Who are you? He just went away.
He just left.
There was somebody right here.
-Yeah.

I keep seeing dark, swirly stuff around my image.

I saw a swirl around this room in the reflection of the mirror around me, hit the floor, and then go to the ceiling.

He was just on top of you, Billy.

My arm hair is standing straight up on end.

ZAK: This is the first time in "Ghost Adventures" history that we are capturing what we believe to be a deliberate physical altercation by a spirit, as we map this figure on the SLS camera.
Watch and listen and I command this figure to get on top of Billy.
-Oh, my god.
-Go back on top of Billy! It was -- Oh, my god.
He's -- Oh, my god.
The figure instantly seems to deck him.
Then it uses both of its arms to grab and lock Billy's arms into submission.
Look how both of the figure's arms are bent in a bracing and restraining position.
Not only that, but during this moment, Billy cannot move his own arms.
-He's holding you! -Stop.

-He's holding you.

-I got to tell you this.
Zak, you don't understand what just happened.
When you said he was standing on my arms, I looked in the mirror, and I actually saw him standing right behind me with his hands on my shoulders.
Get over here so we can see you.
What I saw in the mirror is, I saw me, and around me there was this black thing swirling around.
It went on top of me, down on the floor and around, and then it went straight to the ceiling, and you said something was mapped on top of me.
My arm hair went straight up on both arms, and you said it was on my arms.
Bro What scared me was, I was looking at my arms.
I look up in the mirror, and I can see this big, gigantic black mass standing behind me with his hands on my shoulders.
I've never, ever seen this before.
This stick figure was on top of you, and it put both of its arms, like, literally That's what I saw in the mirror! Like, literally, angled Billy Yeah.
on you, holding you like that.
Like a gargoyle on top of a building.
Yes, and it was holding your arms.
Yes.
That's why I had to run out of there.
Its very, very powerful, Zak.
Right now, we just set up the Bible at the bar before we go downstairs because you have a point.
If things aren't coming down the stairs and doing this weird thing, maybe while we're not here, the Bible will fall over, or if you're a demonic and you hate anything that's good, you're not going to want that there.
ZAK: Aaron and Jay now make their way down into the underground tunnels where they will begin using the Ovilus, and the messages that are about to come through this device are incredibly accurate and chilling.

"Get"? -You know he's about -Oh, my god.
-It -What'd it say? "Bible"! [ Gasps .]
Look! -What? -"Bible.

[ Speaks indistinctly .]
-You all right? -[ Exhales sharply .]

That was weird.

" It said "killed?" You were killed, huh? ZAK: All of a sudden, the word "killed" comes through the Ovilus, which grabs Aaron's attention.
He now wants to figure out who was killed down in these tunnels, and what comes next will blow you away.
You were killed? Down in the tunnels? Reverend.
"Reverend.
" -ZAK: Let me reiterate that the Ovilus previously said, "Get Bible," and now it says, "Killed Reverend.
" Earlier upstairs, through the Spirit Box, this guys also received "Reverend" in connection with the noose.
Is it possible that a Reverend was killed here at the saloon? If so, where's the body? -Who knew? -Bury.
-JAY: "Bury?" -[ Gasps .]
B-U-R-Y.
Did you get buried in here? Not only that, but think about it Under.

" [ Gasps .]
"Bury under" If you're buried down here and you're trapped and you died, I'm sorry.

ZAK: Our investigation in Eureka, Nevada, continues as Billy and I decide to use this spirit sweep device that was designed by Billy and Bill Chappell.
This device allows spirit to control the direction and duration of the audio sweeps through an electromagnetic field that is being generated by its antenna.

ZAK: Right after I feel a touch on my leg, a female voice comes through and says, "I found.
" Is she trying to say that she just found me? -Something just touched -Yeah.
What was that? What did it just say, "I found"? That's what I said! "I think I found it!" You addressed the dark figure that was in there, and you said, "Come out here.
" Look at my arm hair on my right-hand side here.
There's just a presence, right? -Look at that.
-Jeez.
It just, like, walked up on -- just right here, so ZAK: Are you standing in that doorway? Feel this right here.
Put your hands right here.
-Right here.
-Oh, wow.
It's exactly what I felt.
Pick this thing up and just take it in there.
All right, we both just felt you come out of the room.

ZAK: It's doing that thing again.

ZAK: What's gonna happen to us? After receiving "Get Bible" followed by "Killed Reverend," Aaron and Jay make their way back to the bar area to see if any activity will occur directly around the Bible.
Right now, we're just sitting here, being totally quiet, letting the building speak for itself.
Is there anything in here that is demonic or evil or anything, you want to show your power? Knock that Bible over.
[ Thud .]
Dude Something on the bar's gotten [ Speaks indistinctly .]
We just heard, like, "Aah!" scream.
-Something moved on the bar.

-JAY: What is that? -Then another scream.
Something [ Clatter .]

The Spirit Box! -It was.
-Nothing else moved.
The water, nothing.
I think it was.
It was the Spirit Box.

JAY: Right? [ Sighs deeply .]
JAY: Man, What is going on? -[ Growl .]
-[ Jay gasps .]
What was that? That sounded like the kitchen, sounded like the hallway in the kitchen.
[ Exhales sharply .]
-[ Exhales deeply .]
-Ready? ZAK: Stop being evil! I think if you really wanted to hurt us, you would have.
[ Coughs .]
ZAK: Billy and I are about to take our investigation of the Jackson House Hotel in Eureka, Nevada, to the next level.

Okay, right now we're approaching the bathroom where this spirit writes, "I am watching you" on the bathroom mirror when naked women take showers.
In the steam across that mirror there, was written, "I'm watching you.
" Okay, the mirror is starting to steam up.
I have that in regular vision.
So we're gonna steam this bathroom up, see if we can capture this spirit writing on the mirror.

It's like a strong, phantom smoke.
There's no dust or any strong mist that came out of an automatic air freshener around me that could have triggered this.
-[ Speaks indistinctly .]

I feel as though I momentarily channeled A.

through inhalation, as this is a known phenomenon, and I now believe that the cough EVP we captured earlier was actually a warning from this spirit.
After all the very physical contact we have made in Eureka, Nevada Oh, whoa! He's got his arms on you, like he's holding you.
I think it's clear that while the road here might be lonely, the people of Eureka have other things residing in town to keep them company.
