16 Chefs Compete

Previously on Hell's Kitchen The chefs were aroused early.
Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Get downstairs! Does this excite you? What the [Bleep.]
is that? In a challenge designed to test teamwork and precision - Go, go, go, go, go! - Go! Both teams dug in.
There you go! I know you love the beach.
Come on.
And while the men grabbed more geoduck How many? 12, Chef.
When it came time for the precision part of the challenge Slow and steady.
The women showed more finesse - Perfect.
Good girl.
- Yes! And kept their challenge-winning streak going.
Perfect! [Bleep.]
! In your face, son! Later, the women were rewarded with a relaxing day seaside.
Chillin' like a couple of villains, baby! And the men were forced to endure a grueling punishment.
Whew.
And Oh, my God.
Sterling.
Your plate is full.
Leave me the [Bleep.]
alone.
I love you.
You need a hug? At dinner service, Janai struggled on risotto.
It's like baby food.
It's mush! And Denine struggled at everything.
Overcooked scallops.
Raw salmon.
The lobster's raw! Why? Why? Why? In the blue kitchen, multiple communication breakdowns - How long? - Three minutes, man.
Don't you yell! Three minutes! Shut the [Bleep.]
up! Led a total meltdown by Sterling and Fernando on the meat station It's raw! Which ultimately sank the blue team.
[Bleep.]
! And neither the red team All of you, get out! Nor the blue team [Bleep.]
off.
Get out! Pathetic! Would complete service.
The women nominated Janai.
And Denine.
For elimination, while the men chose Sterling.
And Fernando.
In the end Janai, give me your jacket.
Janai's dream of becoming head Chef of Gordon Ramsay pub and grill at caesars Atlantic city went up in flames.
And now the continuation of Hell's Kitchen.
All of you, get out of here.
That was [Bleep.]
.
I'm pissed.
I mean, I'm walking back right now.
And I have to look at these faces right now.
I'm like, "are you kidding me? You just threw me under this huge [Bleep.]
bus.
" Why doesn't she just come over? I mean Denine? Denine? At this point, my strategy will stick to me being about me.
It's not about being nice in this competition.
There's people that just can't do it.
Next service, if she [Bleep.]
up, she's going up and she's going home.
I'm telling you, man.
I'm Always 100.
I'm glad I got up for elimination, 'cause it gave me a reality check.
My teammates can't stop me.
This smile ain't going nowhere, man.
Whoo! I think Sterling should have gone home.
The guy just thinks this whole thing's a joke and a game.
Whoo! And I just can't deal with it no more.
I am so 100.
Sterling, shut the [Bleep.]
up.
What? Steve, don't treat me like I'm a toilet.
'Cause I ain't fixin' to take your [Bleep.]
.
I mean, nah, I'm gonna tell you, you express your feelings, you're gonna hear me out.
That ain't cool, man.
- That's not cool, man.
- Dude, leave me alone for a minute.
No, you gonna hear me out.
You leave me alone? But then you can't even respect me and my own thing? - Shut the [Bleep.]
up right now, homey.
- That's real? Dude, shut the [Bleep.]
up right now.
Man, that's real.
You just disrespect me like that? You think I'm gonna let you walk over me like I'm some piece of mat? Sterling, if you don't get the [Bleep.]
away from me, I'm gonna beat the living [Bleep.]
out of you.
Come on out.
Come on, come on.
I'm good.
I'm 100.
After a tense night in Hell's Kitchen Let's go.
Let's go.
The chefs head downstairs to face an even more tense Trust me I am not in a joking mood.
Let me tell you.
Chef Ramsay.
Uh-oh.
Why is it so dark in here? What is going on this morning? Thinking about our last service, so many of the errors were caused by poor communication, and that has to end right now.
I've decided to make a difficult decision.
Denine Sterling Step forward.
Yes, thank God.
Sterling's going home.
I cannot have chefs not communicating, and that is why this morning, I've decided to take both your jackets.
For your next challenge, you'll need to wear these.
Are you kidding me? Like, last night wasn't enough? You have to put me through that twice? Take the jackets and go back in line.
- Thank you, Chef.
- Join your team.
Phew.
Another chance.
As a matter of fact, I want all of you to have new jackets.
Andi, James, please.
Thank you, Chef.
Written on the back of these jackets is one of my recipes.
The only way you will cook these recipes is to rely on your teammates for information.
Trust me, this will force all of you to communicate.
I expect a lot of talking.
Your 45 minutes starts - Now.
- Let's go, guys.
In order to force the chefs to have constant communication, Chef Ramsay has put the recipe each Chef must cook on the back of their jacket.
"Pour sausage and tomato mixture onto eggs.
" You're basically an omelet.
No, no, no.
It's a frittata.
The chefs must rely on their teammates to read their recipe to them.
The team that does the best at communicating the recipe and executing the dishes wins the challenge.
Get your beef and your pork on right now.
Saute.
You're making meatballs.
Meatballs? Done.
Oh, all right.
My mother, she makes the best meatballs.
I mean, she really does.
If I screw up, I should probably just walk home.
You're making a spring roll.
I'll help you, I got you.
- You're doin' a lettuce wrap.
- I got it.
"Cool meat mixture and chopped boiled eggs.
" Everyone seems to know what they're cooking.
What the hell is mine? "Roll out puff pastry and cut out round.
" It's a tart? "Place Patty on bun with aioli, lettuce, tomato, and pickle.
" So it's an upgraded version of a burger.
Thank God! How can I [Bleep.]
up something as simple as a cheeseburger? I know I got this.
Relish, relish.
"Fill a" and then you have a cast iron pan with meat.
I think you're making, like, a what's it called? Uh, uh, Shepherd's pie! - Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- There you go.
"Fill each round with meat mixture and seal edges with" You're making empanadas, baby.
- You what? - Empanadas? You're making empanadas.
Empanadas, just like home.
Whoo! Whoo! All right.
Empanadas? Got it, man.
I got this, you know? "Stir in cumin, cinnamon, paprika.
" Cumin, cinnamon, paprika.
Cumin, cinnamon, paprika.
Cumin, cinnamon, paprika.
Cumin, cinnamon, paprika.
Behind, behind.
"Layer tortillas with sauce and cheese.
" - Celery on there? - Paprika.
If we're working on this cutting board together, we got to be neat.
Cumin, cinnamon, paprika.
It's kind of chaotic, but at the same time, it's chaotic because everybody's talking.
- Where is the cabbage at? - Cumin, cumin.
Does anyone have vinegar? I just need vinegar.
Does anyone see vinegar? Here.
Where is Chef? Look on this tray here.
You got balsamic, looks like right there.
Denine is so annoying.
Be quiet.
All you're making is a [Bleep.]
burger.
While the women are now focused on their dishes and not each other Saute ground lamb, beef two men on the blue team Dude, you sure it says "beat both eggs"? Have formed an unlikely partnership.
It says, "beat two eggs in separate bowls and season.
" I need to know what I got to do right after the eggs, dude.
Sterling, you're reading one line on my back.
Tell me what the [Bleep.]
I'm cooking, you dumb [Bleep.]
.
"Pour sausage and tomato mixture - on eggs.
" - On eggs.
I'm like, "dude, I'm making a frittata.
" This is gonna work a lot easier.
There we go.
Four minutes to go.
Four minutes.
Let's go.
Open, open.
All right, guys, let's go.
[Bleep.]
! You need any help, girl? I got to do another one.
All three of 'em popped.
Last minute, ladies.
Do one roll and then tuck corners.
Come on, let's go! Santos, move your ass! - Everyone's plating? - Everyone is plating.
Come on! - That's it? Good.
- However you want it.
Five, four, three, two, one, and serve, guys.
Each team received the same eight recipes, so it's only fitting I'll be judging them head-to-head.
Although the chefs received a list of ingredients and directions, a couple of the chefs are not exactly sure what they've made.
The first to face off are La Tasha and Santos, let's go.
Who are each working with Chef Ramsay's enchilada recipe.
La Tasha, explain your dish.
We have a shredded chicken tortilla pie, so to speak.
Tortilla pie? I knew the dish looked familiar, but I don't know what it is, but I'm confident in my cooking skills.
Why'd you call it a pie? Just from the slice, the way that I sliced it.
Santos, what have you done to these? I put a little sauce on 'em, and then I put a little cheese on 'em, and baked them in the oven.
We need the "W.
" We have to win.
We're 0-4 right now.
Problem is, it's dry.
The point goes to the red team.
Good job.
I was glad to get that point, even though I didn't know what my pie was.
With the women scoring the first point, up next are Katie and Steve, let's go, please.
Who were given the recipe for a frittata.
Why such little egg, Katie? I mean, I feel like it's still delicious.
I'm looking at mine.
I'm looking at Steve.
Ours look totally different.
I don't know how Chef is gonna make up his mind.
It actually tastes better than it looks.
It's put together beautifully.
Potatoes are nice I thought they were gonna be slightly undercooked.
Tough one, this one.
The point goes to Both of you.
Good job.
Very good job.
Well done.
Really well done.
Trailing by one point, the blue team is looking to Aaron to take the point over Ashley and even out the score.
Shepherd's pie a dish that's close to my heart.
How did you season the lamb? Salt, pepper, carrot, and garlic.
Mm-hmm.
Aaron, what have you done to the meat there? There's red wine, thyme, rosemary.
One of them is dry and dreadful.
The point goes - To the blue team.
Good job, Aaron.
- Thank you, Chef.
- Really good job.
- The red wine helped me out.
Delicious.
Everyone loves a moist pie.
Denine, JR, let's go, please.
Next in the battle of the burger, Denine - It's tasty, delicious.
- Thank you, Chef.
Beats out JR I mean, raw.
Earning a point for the red team.
Congratulations, red team.
With the red team up by one point, Kalen Looks like somebody's chewed that.
Squares off against Bryant Blend, you've got absolutely spot on.
With their lobster spring rolls.
The point goes to The blue team.
Next up, Jennifer It's nice.
Could have done with a bit more color.
Faces off with Sterling It's seasoned nicely.
With their take on the lettuces wraps.
The winning dish is both of you.
With the score tied at four each, it's time for classic spaghetti and meatballs from sade on the red team That is so under-seasoned.
And Frank on the blue.
The point clearly goes to - The blue team.
Good job.
- Thank you, Chef.
Seasoned beautifully.
Love the sauce.
Thank you.
Love that sauce.
It's a little different from my mother's, but it's good.
Thank you very much.
Love that sauce.
Mommy, thank you so much.
I thought of you.
Roe and Fernando, let's go.
It's the final round, and with the red team trailing by one, roe must get the point over Fernando to keep the women in the game.
So, roe, what's it called? A tart? A tart? She doesn't know what she made.
This is definitely great.
- You have no idea what you made.
- No, Chef.
No, wow.
Wow, wow.
It's an empanada.
Fernando, what's inside? Chef, it's a mix of ground sirloin and Chuck, cumin, paprika, onions.
Cooked beautifully.
It's light.
It's crisp.
Fernando, dude, you're Puerto Rican.
Pull out our first "W.
" Roe, what's inside here? Puff pastry, Chef, with ground beef, green olives.
Come on, roe.
We need this point.
For her sake, it better be good.
In the final round of the communication challenge Cooked beautifully.
It's light.
It's crisp.
The red team is down by one and hoping that roe's dish What's it called? A tart? A tart? It's an empanada.
Is a misnomer that doesn't miss the mark on execution and taste.
I have absolutely no worries or doubts about roe.
Her dish looks awesome.
She's got this, for sure.
Seasoned beautifully, roe.
Pastry's cooked beautifully.
But there's nothing in there.
Huh? All that pastry and nothing in there.
Very tough.
The point goes to The blue team.
Well done.
Oh, my God! Whoo! Good job, gentlemen.
Yes! I can't believe I didn't know it was an empanada.
Men, well done.
You are in for an amazing day at the world-famous Venice Beach Boardwalk, yes? Now, all of you will be catching some air as you zip-line over the sand and palm trees.
Seeing those guys jump around like a bunch of girls at a Bieber concert made me so freakin' upset, I just wanted to slam my face into a table.
After your thrilling ride, you will dine atop the beautiful Erwin Hotel.
Your lunch is gonna include some of the most expensive ingredients anywhere in the world.
You're in for a real treat.
Your cars will be leaving for venice beach shortly.
Congratulations.
Well done.
Thank you, Chef! Thank you so much.
Well done.
I feel [Bleep.]
awesome, baby! [Bleep.]
! [Bleep.]
! The monkey is off our back, finally.
We did it, brother.
Ladies, while the men are flying across venice beach, you'll all be stuck here in Hell's Kitchen.
First of all, we are open for dinner service tonight.
We have a unique tableside special steak, so you will be prepping for that.
The main ingredient is coffee and lots of it.
I've ordered 500 pounds.
It's being delivered shortly, and I want you to grind the coffee beans by hand to ensure a delicious, delicate rub.
You'll be cleaning and prepping both kitchens ahead of tonight's dinner service.
Get out of here.
Yes, Chef.
Go.
Don't forget to read the invoice.
Oh, the steps of dread.
It's frustrating.
Like, it really is frustrating.
Sorry.
Put it on like a bra? The red team is slowly but surely falling apart.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh! But I kind of redeemed myself today, so that ain't my loss.
That'll go into the kitchen, okay? This sucks.
While the women are grounded in Hell's Kitchen The men are flying high over Venice Beach.
Yeah, boy! Oh, man.
And most of them are loving it.
Whoo-hoo! You got this, man.
I'm afraid of heights, like a [Bleep.]
.
Push him hard! No, don't push me.
Don't [Bleep.]
push me.
I'm dizzy.
Like, I'm moving slow.
Yo, I'm [Bleep.]
nervous.
JR, move with it, man! Three, two, one.
Go, man! Go! Go! Oh, [Bleep.]
! Oh, yeah! Whoo! [Bleep.]
.
All the punishments in Hell's Kitchen Never drinking coffee again.
Most people wouldn't wish upon their worst enemy.
I mean, these things suck, and Denine is not helping at all.
Denine, I need a break from grinding.
Grind it yourself.
This hard [Bleep.]
labor that we're going through right now, it wasn't my fault, so I won't grind the coffee beans.
Where's Denine? She walked away from this [Bleep.]
.
Hey, guys.
Come on over here! Let's go! Whoo! Yeah! Dang! - Welcome.
- Oh, man.
Okay, please enjoy.
Sit down.
Enjoy your reward.
Salud.
I'm on cloud nine right now, dude.
You're having some Maine lobster.
Oh, yeah.
We serve it with some black truffles from Perigord.
All these ingredients are expensive.
This is the royalty treatment.
I definitely don't feel like no loser now.
For dessert, guys, it's been masterfully prepared by Chef Waylynn Lucas.
Thank you, Chef.
Let me describe what you guys are going to be eating.
Oh, my God, I'm not a dessert person, but, I mean We have chocolate.
There's a coconut dacquoise on the bottom.
Dig in and enjoy.
I wanted every last bit of that And the dessert.
Oh.
While Frank is loving his dessert and the pastry Chef who made it, back in Hell's Kitchen What does garnish need parsley for? _ There is no love lost between Denine and the rest of her team.
Oh, duh.
It's the big circled one.
Denine's gonna figure out real quick that we can't just wander around and hope that nobody notices you're not doing anything.
What is this? This is the garnish station.
Are you [Bleep.]
kidding me right now? Denine is little fairy princess running amok around the kitchen.
I'll prep hot apps.
Oh, my God.
Um Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! - Um - Whoa, hot! Flame! Cover it, cover it, smother it, smother it, smother it.
Get your pan off! Pull the pan off! After losing the challenge, the women have suffered a punishing day prepping the coffee rub for tonight's steak special I'm never drinking coffee again.
With little help from Denine.
What is this? This is the garnish station.
And now her carelessness has turned the kitchen into a hazard.
Oh, my God, um whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Smother it, smother it.
Cover it, cover it.
Like, seriously? If Denine burned my weave today, we are gonna have 99 problems, and all of them are gonna be me.
I'm just gonna go over here.
Mm-hmm.
What you guys workin' on? So stuffed.
I'm full right now.
I hate that they do that.
Let's get it.
The blue team is so focused and determined right now.
Even though we in hell, lord God, I would like to hear Chef Ramsay say "Well done, gentlemen," and all together we say it.
Amen.
We are gonna come out fighting, you know? Coming out like the champ.
Word.
Amen.
I love you, man.
Line up, please.
Ladies, let's go.
Nice smell of coffee in the air.

You dropped the lobster tail? Lobster tail's ready.
Waiting on scallops.
Start the scallops.
Heard! Ready? Feel confident? I'm a little worried about Sterling.
Keep the pan in the center.
Don't move it.
I felt like Chef Ramsay put me with Sterling to teach, coach, support, which I'm fine with.

Do you have a little steak sauce? Oh, my wig, my wig! Watch the fires, okay? 'Cause we don't want the lady running out and saying, "I'm in hell dining room" as well.
This is awful.
Wendy Williams is watching every [Bleep.]

- Move! Meat station's going down in a ball of flames.
All right, we're gonna do this lamb and wellington one more [Bleep.]
time.
While Kalen is slammed on the meat station, no entrees leave the red kitchen, but the blue team is ready with their second attempt on their first entrees.
Brussels sprouts we got? - Right here.
- Let's go.
Walking with wellington.
All they need is Bryant, I'm still dragging the two on the [Bleep.]
halibut! They're gonna be [Bleep.]
again! Two minutes, Chef.
Two minutes.
One more mistake, and you're out of here.
Now, concentrate.
We have never completed dinner service Hurry up! But I'm gonna show Chef Ramsay that I'm not gonna let him get in my head.
I'm gonna pull it out.
Can somebody help him? Yes, Chef! That's you, Sterling! - Hey! - No, I got it, I got it.
Let's go! Oh, dear.
Hey! Hey! Look at this.
Look at my [Bleep.]
halibut.
Now I've got halibut sushi.
Stone cold in the middle.
Bryant is losing his libido tonight.
Bryant, if you're gonna give up like this, what's the point of being in Hell's Kitchen? Wake the [Bleep.]
up.
Bryant, halibut's [Bleep.]
.
It won't happen again, Chef.
That's right! Sterling and Bryant, [Bleep.]
off.
- Get out of here.
- Yes, Chef.
Refire a new one, asap.
Fire a new one.
Steve, get on fish! Yes, Chef.
Why'd I get sorry I let you down, man.
"Get out!" What? I didn't cook the damn halibut.
While Bryant strikes out on halibut, over in the red kitchen, Kalen is hoping her third attempt on meat is a home run.
- Wellington walking.
- Walking with the lamb.
Go, go, go! Hot.
Both of these are very hot, Chef.
Go.
Good job, Kalen.
Way to make it happen.
Way to make it happen.
Good job.
Thank God, it's like a bazillion pounds lifted off of my shoulders.
We're gonna make it out of this.
Service, please.
With their first table of entrees finally delivered The wellington for you this evening.
- Thank you.
Thanks.
- Enjoy your dinner.
The red team rallies to make up for lost time.
Oh, that's delicious.
Meanwhile, the men are hoping that Steve, who has replaced Bryant on the fish station Come on, guys.
I got five halibuts working all day, brother.
Will finally get entrees moving out of the kitchen.
Halibut hot! Behind you, guys! There's a space.
Good, let's go.
Halibut nicely cooked.
Thank you, Chef! Finally, I'm sending out [Bleep.]
halibut to Chef Ramsay's standard.
Come on, guys, we got this.
Let's go, go, go.
Two pork, two lamb, one halibut.
How long? - Six minutes.
- Thank you! Frank.
Frank? Frank! Yes? You have chicken/veg ready? I have the polenta right here.
What are you making right now? I'm sorry? What are you making? What am I making? I got, uh, the chicken.
Two pork.
- All right, I'll make it.
- See the proteins, bro.
- I got you, I got you.
- See the proteins right here.
Frank, calm down, get your [Bleep.]
together, and take a deep breath, buddy.
So right now what do we need? I'm giving you the quinoa, - not now.
- Not yet.
- Frank! - Yes, Chef? Get a grip, huh? I got it, Chef.
- Ready to go? - No, no, no.
You ready to walk? No, no.
- I want to see you walk.
- No, stop, Frank.
They're not ready they're three minutes out, Frank.
- He's got to plate it.
- You just gave him the chicken/veg for three minutes out.
All of you, come here! So Frank hits the window two minutes early.
Just taste what he's given me.
Taste that, taste that.
I just seasoned it.
And what's the one thing it's missing? - Salt.
- Salt and pepper, Chef.
- Frank.
Frank.
Frank! - I just put it on.
- Yes, Chef.
- [Bleep.]
off upstairs! - Get out! - Ah, [Bleep.]
.
Messing up, it's like I don't know.
It's like a monkey in the wrench a monkey a wrench in the monkey? Monkey in the That's not right.
Hold on.
Come on, guys, let's catch back up.
- Hey, you, on garnish! - Yes, Chef.
While the remaining men try to fill in the gaps, back in the red kitchen V.
I.
P.
, Wendy Williams.
Watch this table, ladies.
Chef Ramsay turns up the pressure.
Two chicken, two salmon, one wellington.
Heard, Chef! Let's go.
I love Wendy Williams.
- How are you? - Good to see you.
Ohh! Welcome to Hell's Kitchen.
But she also has a daily talk show.
We've got to kill this tonight, because if not, she's gonna be talking mad [Bleep.]
about us tomorrow.
Hey, how long now on that chicken, two salmon? I'm carving it right now.
On a bias, on a bias.
On a bias, Denine.
This way.
Garnish! - Walking, Chef.
- Chicken! Walking with chicken.
Salmon? I'm walking salmon.
Coming over.
I got that salmon.
What in the [Bleep.]
is going on? Salmon is raw And the chicken is as dry as a [Bleep.]
camel's [Bleep.]
In [Bleep.]
desert storm.
Look how stringy that is.
Heard, Chef.
Hey, no! No! No! Not heard! No! Stop! That's food that's leaving the kitchen expecting to be served.
No! No! No! No! It feels like I just took one, two, like, three uppercuts straight to the gut.
Let me communicate something to you all.
Get out! Get out! He's kicking them out.
And so much for Wendy Williams being a source of inspiration.
V.
I.
P.
s! You certainly didn't treat them like V.
I.
P.
s.
Pathetic! Absolutely pathetic! It's an hour and a half into dinner service, and at least half of the diners have yet to receive their entrees and are left wondering if they ever will.
_ No! No! No! No! But the question has just been answered for Wendy Williams in the red dining room.
Get out! Get out! Pathetic! Absolutely pathetic! Ah, ladies, we've only been through three dinner services.
We've been kicked out of the last two.
It's a disgrace.
Oh, [Bleep.]
, man.
Come on, guys.
We've got this.
Come on, let's bring this back, baby.
Four halibut, one chicken, one vegetarian, yes? Yes, Chef, heard! Sterling, Bryant, Frank they all got kicked out.
We got rid of our deadweight.
Santos? Chicken garnish walking in 30 seconds.
Slicing.
Right now, man, everybody's Clickin', man.
The motor's turning.
The motor's burning.
That's teamwork.
Let's go! Three halibut garnish, please.
Three halibut garnish.
30 seconds for that, Chef.
- Let's go.
- Three halibut garnish.
Wellington.
Thank you.
Service, please.
- Thank you so much.
Thank you for your patience.
- Thank you.
Let's go! We're in striking distance.
Come on! Let's go! Come on, boys.
Let's complete service tonight.
Oh, my God.
We're gonna finish.
- Halibut's walking, Chef! - Thank you.
- Steve, Steve, Steve! - Walking with fish, Chef.
[Bleep.]
nail it! That's how to time a halibut.
Service, please.
Let's go.
Clear down, good job.
- Thank you, Chef! - Thank you, Chef! Whoo! Ladies, come on back to the red kitchen.
Let's go.
The opening-night service right now seems miles away.
Was that a fluke? No, Chef.
I'm starting to think it is.
I need two nominees for elimination.
Now [Bleep.]
off, will you? Have you ever wanted to punch yourself in the face? Tonight's dinner service was just, like, an epic fail.
I couldn't be more embarrassed with my team.
Somebody needs to go home.
Here's my question do you think that meat was the biggest problem or fish? I mean, I know fish came back, salmons came back.
The last two salmon one was under.
I'm definitely concerned that my undercooked salmon will come back and bite me.
But we had a [Bleep.]
load of scallops as far as no, those scallops were, like, every [Bleep.]
.
I do believe the biggest problem on the meat station was the wrong timing.
Yeah, I agree.
This is [Bleep.]
.
I would like to say that, Denine, if you had taken the lamb and the wellington, we would have been even worse off.
You can say that, but you don't know because you took it, and we're still sitting out here.
You still but you were the one, but don't okay.
You didn't cook any of it.
That's it just keep talking about the meat station.
Forget about the fish station.
You could have at least helped.
I was doing everything.
Tell me how you felt alone if you didn't even ask me for help! Because you didn't even try and step in! Kalen, do you need help with anything? - No.
- Um, okay.
I asked you for help.
You asked me for help.
When did you ask me to put anything in the oven? Right.
Okay, that's fine.
Okay.
It's ridiculous my station failed because of Kalen.
Then Tasha sent out salmon that kept coming back.
I'm not gonna be put up for elimination two nights in a row.
People have got to step in.
You did not ask me for help.
If you're on a station, you should move over and help that person, right? Whatever.
Team is a bunch of [Bleep.]
.
We need to make a decision about this elimination.
What a strange night.
I'm in shock, like half the diners were tonight for not being fed.
Have you made a decision? Yes, Chef.
First nomination and why.
Our first nomination, Chef, is Kalen.
She was falling behind, so the rest of our team went down waiting for meats to be fired.
Second nominee, and why? Chef, our second nominee is Um After a dinner service in which the entire red team was kicked out of the kitchen, the women had to nominate two chefs for elimination.
Their first choice was Kalen.
Second nominee.
And why? Chef, our second nominee is Um, Denine.
We had to carry her again.
She didn't want to step up.
Denine, Kalen, step forward, please.
Why did this service break down so badly tonight? Denine, Chef.
She's much more inexperienced than everybody else on the team.
We've had to really try and teach her, and there's not really time to teach in Hell's Kitchen.
It's almost like you're a regular spot up here now.
Your feet are embedded in my [Bleep.]
carpet.
Denine, why do you think you should stay in Hell's Kitchen? I think I still have a lot of potential, and I can prove that to you, Chef.
I don't think the damage I did was nearly as bad as Kalen's tonight.
Kalen, why do you think you should stay in Hell's Kitchen? Chef, I should stay in Hell's Kitchen because I don't ever, ever send out meat like that.
This is not me, this is not who I am as a Chef, and I just I-I took off more than I could chew, I guess, today.
I just had a bad day.
My decision is Kalen Back in line.
Denine, give me your jacket.
Your time is done in Hell's Kitchen.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Thank you.
They couldn't even use my cooking against me.
They used my lack of experience.
They're a bunch of bitches, and I hope to God that they underestimate those boys like they've been underestimating me, 'cause they're gonna get smacked in the [Bleep.]
face.
Get out of here.
This will just make me work that much harder.
I am 100% going to get my [Bleep.]
back together.
The red team had a piece of humble pie tonight.
Now it's our time to shine.
Blue team all the way.
You got that, red team? I'm, like, ready to [Bleep.]
pass out.
Just breathe in and out, Jen.
Just take a deep breath.
Without a doubt, this elimination has brought morale down.
We feel defeated.
She's, like, shaking.
She needs water right now.
Is she, like, passing out or something? You all right? Come on, Jen.
Come on, come on.
Hey.
Hey, you.
Come here, put this on your head, all right? We need a medic.
Like, something's wrong with her right now.
Medic! Medic, please! Back up, the medic's here.
Back up! Next time, on Hell's Kitchen Ladies! One member of the red team Two scallops walking right now.
Brings the kitchen to a [Bleep.]
.
Stop! Stop! But is it all part of her master plan? I am taking them all down tonight.
Bitch, are you crazy? And on the blue team, an unlikely alliance Trust me man.
Trust me.
Ignites a sinester plot by the rest of the team.
We need to get rid of our dead-weight.
That turns into an all - I got this.
You do that.
- out - Get the [Bleep.]
out of my face.
- war [Bleep.]
.
[Bleep.]
you.
I'm gonna get in there and fight.
Next time.
- I'm comin'.
I'm comin'.
I'm comin'.
- Shut up - No one is safe.
- Fire.
On a very important episode What does V.
I.
P mean? Very important person, Chef.
