Retail Therapy

That [bleep.]
bitch! Oh, my God.
You shouldn't have said the things you said.
I'm really sorry about the last time we hung out.
It was really bad.
This is the first guy that I'm starting to feel vulnerable about.
[squeals.]
Two things I want from a man.
He can dance, and he makes me laugh.
I would like to introduce you to Ryan.
[squeals.]
Tinsley: She really thinks it's really good for me just to go on a few dates and just see what else is out there.
Tinsley: My life is like a tennis match, a constant back and forth.
And lately my thoughts are bouncing back to Topper.
Maybe it's all the negative press I've been getting.
It makes me want security.
The next big event on the social calendar is the Guest of a Guest party.
I know all the haters will be there.
[grunting.]
Today I have, like, a huge day.
I'm going to some buyers to see about getting my bags picked up into other stores.
God, it's just-- I just was, like, completely frazzled and a mess.
Wait, don't film this.
I don't know what to do! I'm sorry, it's just frustrating.
Today at 5:30 in the morning, I opened my bedroom door and Topper is standing in my living room.
I wasn't wearing anything when I was sleeping.
I was, like, naked, and it was kind of frightening but at the same time it felt normal.
God, I mean, I just-- Recently, we've been contacting each other a lot more.
We speak on the phone a lot and it was, just, you know, I think he's still wanting to be with me after all of this, after all that we've been through, he still is fighting to be with me.
I have so many mixed emotions.
I, on the one hand, think I should be single, but maybe I am wrong to leave Topper.
By the time I got to the store, I definitely let it all get to me and I just wasn't the person that I wanted to be walking into those meetings.
Um, so-- Oh, my Gosh.
Look at all this.
I know.
I actually ought a few styles just to show what I had done before.
Okay, good.
This is a dream come true.
I've been working at this for so long so it was exciting when I found out that Calypso did actually want to see my line.
But it just made me so nervous because any little screw-up I hit or little bump in the road might really just make this whole thing fall apart.
Um, so-- My whole head was just spinning, and I just didn't really know what I was saying.
[chuckles.]
I just, um-- I was just constantly thinking about Topper.
I quite like this.
I would love it bigger.
I think small is good, but I just see it a little bit larger.
I like this little flourished detail.
I think the detail on this is really fun.
And does this come in other colors, too? I've seen Tinsley on TV, and in the magazines.
And I really liked her product.
This could be day, night.
Nice.
[chuckles.]
Tinsley: It was really exciting to hear she liked my bags.
It felt like my whole day turned around.
It was so great meeting you.
Thank you very much.
It was so nice to meet you, too.
I'm actually really nervous about this.
I'm really nervous.
You shouldn't be.
I mean, she's chill.
Today I'm talking Tommy to meet my mother.
Is she going to grill me and ask me a million questions? Maybe.
I don't know.
Oh, Paul.
This is a big step just because, like, I am serious about us and I really want to see this thing work out.
Hi, Mother.
Hi, Paul! - Hello.
- Hi.
Good to see you.
Hi, how are you? I'm Tommy.
Tommy, you come close to me, dear.
- Okay.
- All right.
Oh, my God, this kid is gorgeous.
I'm so nervous.
Don't be nervous, darling.
No, no, no.
I'm like, "I hope she likes me.
" Of course, I like you.
Aw.
Anyone who likes my son, and anyone my son likes, I would like.
I am a mother first.
Melissa: He looks adorable with Paul.
And I just thought young, youthful, fresh, alive.
Perfect for Paul.
Perfect for my son.
I hear you're a model.
Yeah.
Well, I can see why, dear.
- Oh, gosh.
- How old are you, dear? Or may I ask? Oh! I need something stronger than coffee.
Oh, my God, I think my mom wants to date you.
[laughing.]
Oh, no, no, you're too young.
In the past, I could have dated the ex.
Before, Paul was dating someone who was a much older man.
You know, 45, who could just discard people left and right, running to his Botox appointments, my God, or to his hairdresser, and that was not a good relationship for Paul to be in.
Now, do your parents know that you're gay? Oh, [bleep.]
, here we go.
Everyone knows.
Are you looking for a committed relationship? Oh, my God.
I mean, are you serious? Yeah, of course.
[laughing.]
Well, I didn't ask if they'd had sex.
I think that was the one question I didn't ask that young man.
But whatever happens, I think it will be fine.
I think they both want a committed relationship.
Oh, my God.
"How To Lose A Guy In 10 Seconds", starring Melissa Johnson Michael.
Tell me, did you get the gay fashion gene, or what? Not really, no.
Oh, my God, Mom, that is wildly inappropriate.
I had to ask.
She was totally embarrassing.
I wanted to kill myself.
But at the same time, she was super cute.
All right, I know.
Give me a chance to get to do the same thing.
Well, okay.
All in due time.
Seriously.
If I can't get Anderson Cooper, this guy will do very nicely.
I love Tommy.
I think he's terrific.
[glass breaking.]
Oh, my God, what happened? Did Bibi get this? - Yeah, she did.
- Was it Bibi? Tinsley: Fanny is my housekeeper.
She was the housekeeper that Topper and I had, and she's just kind of like a member of the family.
Fanny, I want to talk to you about Topper.
I mean, just, I sometimes just-- I miss him.
Yes, Mrs.
Tinsley.
Yes, I know.
I've talked to Fanny about the divorce, because it's been really difficult for us to let go.
And I don't necessarily know if that's really what either of us really want.
17 years, Mrs.
Tinsley.
Long time.
Long time.
I know.
Do you think it would be weird if we, like, got back together? I can't believe I'm thinking this.
You want to do that? Sometimes I think that I do.
Could you, like, see us back together, or something? - Yes.
- Yeah? I think.
I hope.
You do? Aw.
Tinsley: Every day, it changes for me.
I mean, some days I am convinced that we'll definitely be together.
But then other days, I'm, like, absolutely no way.
What am I thinking? I don't know.
I don't know.
I just don't know.
I don't want a wedding that costs anything less than a half million.
- Wh? - I'm worth it.
Let's have some [bleep.]
fun, [bleep.]
.
We were at the club, and Constantine from "American Idol" came over to speak to us.
It was really fun to be invited by the star of the show.
Do you want to have a drink? - After you, mother.
- Thanks, honey.
After shopping, I needed to talk a little business with my mom.
I'm glad you got to meet Tommy.
Yeah, he's a very nice guy.
I'm always happy to see my mother.
She's like my best friend.
I love her.
You're really serious about this guy? I'm really serious about this guy.
To the point were, like, I just wanna-- I want to get out of New York with him.
I think it would be nice for me to say I'm going to Staadt, I'm going to India, I'm going to the Maldives, I'm going to Amsterdam.
I've got an extra ticket.
Would you like to join me? So if I'm going to be jet-setting like this, I'm going to need my disbursement.
I have a lot of trips planned.
And so I thought, like, things are going really well.
Why doesn't Tommy come with me? So I asked my mom for the money.
I've calculated a few things.
And it comes to around 16 grand that I'm going to need to ask you for.
You know, I think this guy could be the guy.
I mean, I want to get married while I'm young.
I do guilt trip my mother into giving me lots of money.
And I know that's bad, but at the same time, I know she has it.
I'd love to be able to, like, settle down with somebody, finally.
Get married.
I don't want a wedding that costs anything less than half a million.
- What? - I'm worth it.
Wait a minute.
I think you can have a wonderful wedding on about 100,000.
Yeah, if I want to pull a Starr Jones - and have it sponsored-- - It will be beautiful.
I'm going to have to pull a Menendez brothers.
You don't have to do that.
Suffocate you while you're sleeping.
I knew that if I asked her and I pushed it hard enough, that she would give in, and I could get the money.
Well, I haven't gotten it yet, but I will.
He's the kind of guy I would love for a son-in-law.
Well, cheers to that.
- To Tommy.
- Here's looking at you, kid.
Here's looking at you, mama.
Everybody's all about save, save, save for the future.
Future of the family.
And, I'm like, live it up.
Let's spend this.
Let's have some [bleep.]
fun, [bleep.]
.
Dabney, will you, like, button me up, and stuff? Yeah.
Here you go.
Thank you.
Tell me, what exactly is this party? It's for a vodka company.
Tonight, I'm hosting a party for a vodka company at a nightclub.
And my sister and I are going together.
Tinsley: Hosting a party mean my name is on the invitation that is sent out to hundreds of guests.
It's always exciting to see who shows up.
We decided to kind of look like twins, a bit.
So we both are wearing dresses that kind of like have an 80s glammy kind of look.
And they were by a designer called J.
R.
We were at the club, and Constantine from "American Idol" came over to speak with us.
We were talking, I mean, it was really loud.
We could barely hear each other, but he was really sweet.
Like one of those things, yeah.
He invited me to come to his show to see him perform and then go out afterwards.
On the one hand, I think I should go on the date and everything, but also there's the Topper issue.
- Yeah.
- Good.
What the hell? [laughing.]
Why not? I'm not getting any younger.
What do I have to lose? I'm just going to do it.
Constantine invited me to go to his Broadway show called "Rock of Ages".
It's like, insanely hot in here.
It's probably just you, Tinsley.
Will I get to see you ever again? Maybe if you're lucky.
Right now, I'm on my way to my first date, and I am beside myself with excitement.
I've reapplied the lip gloss about five times.
[laughing.]
So thiwas the first date that was set up by this dating service, Selective Search.
It is a very exclusive service.
I just want a man who's kind and compassionate.
Supposedly, it's a different kind of service, where they really vet the men as if they were searching for men to be a CEO of a corporation.
Hi, there.
- Hello.
- Are you Dale? I'm Dale.
I could not get Virginia Dogwood, but I do have Virginia wine for you.
That's so nice.
- Thank you so much.
- You're welcome.
I'm coming in from Milwaukee.
- Are you? - Yeah.
Are there lots of cows there? [laughs.]
Not in the city.
They're out in the country.
It's a historic city settled by a lot of immigrants.
A lot of German, Polish, Italian.
I don't care for Germans very much.
You don't? I'm German.
[laughing.]
The reason I said that was 'cause my daughter is dating a German Prince.
Oh, really? Oh.
And I'm opposed to it.
My mom dating makes me laugh.
Because she's just such a child at heart and I'm sure she's just hysterical and, like, a big dork.
And I'm just embarrassed for her.
Thank you.
- Want to ride the carriage? - Yeah, let's do it.
Let's do it.
Dale: He's charming man.
He's handsome, he's kind.
He took my hand.
I haven't had my hand held in a long time.
You just sort of-- wh! Are you okay? It's all right.
You're starting to get a little fresh, are yo First date.
I can only speak for my side of the chemistry.
From my side, it was great.
He was so cute.
So y can't help but think it'd be fun to have a kiss.
He surprised me because he really kissed me.
And it was really a special day.
I haven't had these days for a long time.
So, it was perfect.
That was a good date.
Really fun.
Constantine invited me to go to his Broadway show called "Rock of Ages".
[beeping.]
Topper and I, we've been texting a lot.
Hand I don'till salways say anything because I flip-flop all the time.
I don't know what I want.
Maybe if I really could be strong enough to be single-single for a while, it would be really good for me.
It was just really fun to be invited by the star of the show and to watch him perform.
The songs were amazing.
It was all like 80s rock.
It was so cool.
Afterwards, I got to go back up to his dressing room.
- Hi.
- Hey, sugar, what's up? Whoa, you're all glamorous.
- Did you have a good time? - It was amazing.
It was so good.
I was singing every song.
I thought I wouldn't know any of them, and I knew all of them.
Is it, like, insanely hot in here? It's probably just you, Tinsley.
- You know.
- Oh, my gosh.
Whoa.
That's like, pretty insane.
I just took my eye makeup off, so I have, like-- Actually, I was thinking if you have any makeup in here, I wanted to touch up on my, uh-- Are you serious? I have, like, some-- I was like, crying and laughing the whole time.
And I feel like I need to-- Do your thing.
[laughing.]
I felt like a little girl, and I felt kind of giddy.
Do you want to wear some show piece? No, I'm good.
- Your jean jacket? - You like that? I do.
What stood out for you.
Like, the Journey? I loved the "Oh, Sherry".
I felt like a big dork.
I even tried to sing a little bit one of the songs.
I totally got it wrong, because I make up my own lyrics always.
But we had a fun time.
It was fun.
Let's get something to eat.
Let's do something.
Hey, how you doing? There's all these girls that are there watching Constantine perform and they all want his autograph.
- Thank you.
- Thank you.
- There you go.
- Thank you.
Afterwards, we went to dinner, and he was super cute.
To "Rock of Ages" and to your handbags.
I had a really fun date.
I did.
Will I get to see you ever again? Maybe if you're lucky.
Okay.
I can't believe you came.
It really meant a lot to me.
- Thanks.
- No, it really did.
It was really fun.
I don't know.
It's fun.
- Yeah? - Thank you.
- Really? - It was fun.
Thanks.
Tinsley: Tonight is a party for Guest of a Guest.
Paul: Everybody who's anyone was there.
Oh, darling! I've had enough of it, and I'm just not taking it anymore.
Let's see.
I'm really excited for the party for Guest of a Guest tonight.
It's a huge event.
There's going to be a ton of photographers there.
Totally A-list, me being one of them.
- Hello? - Hi, Tommy? I wanted to bring Tommy there to sort of introduce him to, like, you know, the shark tank.
If you want to come, that would be great.
I could come pick you up.
Tommy: Yeah, I'd love to.
That'd be fun.
This is our first chance to go out together as a couple and look really cute and smile for pictures.
All right, bye.
And I'm really excited.
This is really cool.
And this is another one from Marchesa.
This is really cute, too.
Tonight is a party for Guest of a Guest, which is a social gossipy website.
- Dolce Gabbana.
- It's amazing.
It's a huge event.
Everyone's going to be there.
And every time I go out, it's like stepping into the line of fire.
So I invited my mom, because I really want her near me tonight for support.
I want to be a celebrity So take my picture whenever you can I wanna I wanna be In a magazine Everybody who's anyone was there.
- Hi.
- Hello, gorgeous.
How are you? This is Tommy.
I wanted to bring Tommy there, debuting him to New York society.
He's like a little debutante for the night.
Tommy, this is my friend Rochelle.
- Hi.
- How are you? Rochelle runs Guest of a Guest.
She's the one throwing the party.
Oh, thank you.
We met at Apotheke the night that I almost got arrested.
So we almost didn't see each other again.
I was taking Tommy around, being, like, this is my new boyfriend.
Look at how cute he is, posing for pictures.
Kissy pictures.
But then, all of a sudden-- Boom shaka laka, in walks Devorah Rose.
Thank you so much for coming.
Of course, you look gorgeo.
So do you.
With, like, Swamp Thing hair and witch hands.
She needs some flying monkeys.
[squeals.]
Darling! [laughing.]
Tinsley: I was at the bar when I first saw Devorah.
I was trying to figure out if I was going to say anything or not.
Oh, my God! It's like, this little dance that's going on in the room.
Here's Devorah over here.
And here's Tinsley and her cadre.
It's like, they weren't going to meet, but they wanted to, 'cause you'd see them getting closer to each other to have a confrontation, and then they'd back away.
And they'd come in and back away.
Finally Tinsley: It's not like me to be confrontational, but after everything I've just been through, I can't let these people walk over me.
- Hey.
- He Hi.
I'm going to call them out on it.
I'd rather talk one on one.
That's not really possible when you go to "New York" magazine and go publically declare war on me.
Announcer: The biggest catfight of the season is about to be unleashed.
After all the press that I've had negative about me, if you were a real friend, you never, ever would have done it.

I'm starting to fall in love and I do not want to lose you over one stupid night.
And shocking revelations.
Oh, [bleep.]
, look what we found on Gawker.
Tinsley: Her name is not even Devorah.

I'm standing up for my friend.
What are you doing? I am humiliated.
Get off me.
