Last time on "Love in the Wild," seven single men and seven single women ventured to the beautiful tropics of the Dominican Republic, looking for love.
All right, girls, pick your partners.
I'm very tired of dating younger guys, and I wanna find the man for me.
I've been through heartbreak, I've been through war.
When it comes to this, failure's not an option.
I am here because I'm trying for Mr.
hottie with a body.
But they were in for a surprise You are going to choose another hot guy.
When the couples became trios.
Aah! Ah! On the adventure, some connections sparked while others sank.
I can't do this! Summer's trio landed in first place and a romantic stay at the luxurious oasis, while team Ali's last place finish put her trio in the rugged lean-to, where she had a meltdown.
I don't think I can do this.
At the couples' choice ceremony, the women held the power, and the trios became couples.
Shauna stuck it out with Ryan despite her feelings for Mike.
I'm gonna stay with Ryan.
In the end, seven men went home.
Tonight, the seven remaining couples will face their most harrowing challenges I can't do this anymore.

So as you guys know, relationships require a lot of faith in each other in order to get through difficult situations.
Well, you are gonna need a lot of faith with this adventure.
On this journey, you guys are gonna encounter a very, very old farmer.
He's, like, 1,000 years old.
Kinda stinky.
He's a little gamey.
He's a little bit scary, actually.
But he has information that you will need to complete this adventure.
In order to get the information from him, one of you must make out with him.
Now you don't have to worry about anything being stuck in his teeth because he doesn't have any.

There is an old farmer, but you don't have to make out with him.
Okay, one of the first things you need to do is build this net.
Everything you need to build the net is scattered across the field, including your first map.
Do not lose this net.
You will need it to complete the adventure.
The couple that crosses the finish line first with all the items that you need to gather will, of course, stay in the luxurious oasis and you'll get a special reward.
Now remember, the worse you place, the worse your accommodations are gonna be.
And don't forget-- at the couples' choice ceremony, one man and one woman will be going home.

" We do have a map that kind of leads us to, like, a blue lagoon of some sort.

Yeah? So we reach this farm with different types of birds within this pen, and we are greeted by a farmer.

We're using that to get a Guinea.
The signs said that we needed to catch a Guinea fowl with our nets.

Guinea fowl? I mean, I didn't even know a Guinea fowl was.
But, um, Ali and I looked back.
We ran to the fence full of birds.
"Trade 1 Guinea fowl for 1 map.
" We're supposed to catch a Guinea fowl, which I've never even heard of.
Once we got to an enclosed pen, all of a sudden, the skies literally opened, and it started pouring down rain.
Here we go.
And in there, there were all these chickens and roosters and, apparently, Guinea fowl.
Over here, over here.
Trying to catch a Guinea fowl was really annoying.
Those things are fast.
Here they come, here they come.
Just pin.
And, yes, I've gone through the marine corps and everything.
But they've never made us chase, like, chickens.

So we're like dumb blond moment.

Finally, sparks fly in my head.
We have the wrong animal.
"Travel 334 degrees for 250 meters.
"The directions will lead you to the tree with several carvings hanging from it.
" To complete the adventure, the map instructed us to run along the path that would lead us to a tree with a wooden carving on it, using, like, compass directions.

With him being a military background, he can read the compass like nobody's business.

Ali is a super competitive girl, and her saying, "keep down, keep down" and pushing me and pushing me-- that's a sexy quality.

At this point, there were probably four or five teams in the Coop at the same time.

At this point, I was surprised how well we were working as a team.

So when we finally catch a Guinea fowl, all the teams were ahead of us by, like, hours.

In order to complete the mission, we had to use the compass to find a hanging idol on a tree.
Did you see the wooden carvings? Unh-unh.

I grabbed it, and it just dawned on me that we're in first, like we could actually win this thing.
