AFTER EXPERIENCING THE SHADOW FIGURES, SEEING THESE GHOST FLAMES, WATCHING THE MONEY BE TAKEN BY SOMETHING WE DON'T KNOW, I BELIEVE THERE IS MULTIPLE ENTITIES IN THIS BUILDING THAT ARE TRYING TO GE THEIR STORY OUT TO US.

IT WAS A PERFUME, BUT NOT A MODERN PERFUME, AND THAT KEPT HAPPENING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN, ROOM TO ROOM TO ROOM.
THE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1904.
IT'S ON THE HISTORIC REGISTER, BUT I STARTED TO DO MY OWN RESEARCH TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE OWNERS OF THE HOME, BECAUSE IT WAS OBVIOUS AT THAT POIN THAT WE WERE NOT ALONE IN THE HOUSE.
I WENT TO THE REGISTER OF DEEDS AND TRACED BACK THROUGH THE RECORDS AND FOUND OUT THAT, IN FACT, THE BUILDER HAD MOVED THERE, AFTER HE RETIRED FROM FARMING, WITH HIS YOUNGEST DAUGHTER.
AND THE PERFUME SMELLED LIKE A YOUNG WOMAN'S PERFUME.
SHE WAS, AT THAT POINT, THE ONLY YOUNG WOMAN THAT WE KNEW THAT HAD LIVED IN THE HOME, SO IT JUST SEEMED LOGICAL.
OTHER TYPES OF THINGS HAVE VARIED THROUGHOUT THE YEARS.
WE MAY HAVE LIGHT BULBS THAT FLICKER.
THINGS MIGHT MOVE.
APPLIANCES WOULD TURN ON BY THEMSELVES.
OUR GAS STOVE.
I REALLY COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.
ONE NIGHT, I WAS SITTING ON THE BED, READING WITH MY BOOK IN MY LAP, AND OUT OF THE TOP OF MY VISION, I SAW WHAT APPEARED TO BE THE TRAIN OF A LONG DRESS GO INTO THE BEDROOM THAT'S AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS.
I GOT OUT OF BED AND WEN AND LOOKED IN THE ROOM.
EVEN THOUGH I KNEW THAT IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE THAT I WAS SEEING WHAT I HAD JUST SEEN, I NEEDED TO CONVINCE MYSELF THAT SOMEONE HADN'T JUST WALKED INTO THAT BEDROOM.
OF COURSE, THERE WAS NOBODY IN THERE.
IT CAN BE STARTLING.
WE HAD HAD ENOUGH HAPPENING IN THE HOUSE THAT WHEN A FRIEND OF MINE JOINED A PARANORMAL GROUP, I WAS REALLY INTERESTED TO HAVE THEM COME OUT AND RESEARCH THE HOUSE.
JIM AND HIS TEAM WERE OBVIOUSLY VERY INTRIGUED BY IT.

" SO WE HAD TO HAVE THEM CUT THE SCREEN.
THE ENTITIES IN THE HOUSE, THE SPIRITS, MAYBE DID NOT WANT THE TEAM THERE THAT NIGHT.

I THINK IT'S A PLACE WE SHOULD GO TO TO DO AN INVESTIGATION.

WE REALIZED THAT WE WERE SHORT A TEAM MEMBER FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF THE JOHN JOHNSTON HOUSE, SO WE ASKED CHARLIE ROGERS TO JOIN US.
Rogers: I WAS CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT THEY DID, SO I WENT ALONG WITH IT.

I COULD PROBABLY HANDLE A FEW SITUATIONS.
Douglas: WE WALKED INTO THE HOUSE, AND RIGHT OFF, YOU FEL SOME TYPE OF PRESENCE.
THE AIR WAS PRETTY STUFFY IN THERE, AND IT'S LIKE STEPPING BACK IN TIME TO THE LATE 1700s, EARLY 1800s.

THE WALLS WERE PLASTERED AND BROKEN.
IT WAS SORT OF OVERWHELMING.
Rogers: I DIDN'T HAVE A LO OF FEAR IN WHAT I WAS GONNA DO BECAUSE I HAD NEVER DONE I BEFORE, SO I DIDN'T KNOW REALLY WHAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN.
I WAS SO NAIVE.
Douglas: THE TEAM STARTED THE INVESTIGATION BY ENTERING INTO THE LIVING ROOM.
WE BROUGHT VIDEO RECORDERS, AN ELECTROMAGNETIC FREQUENCY DEVICE, AND ALSO AN OVILUS.
Rogers: I HAD SOME RECORDING EQUIPMENT WITH ME.
THEN I SEEN THIS ROCKING CHAIR, AND I SEEN A PICTURE OF MOLLY.
AND I LOOKED AT THE CHAIR, AND I JUST STARTED TO ROCK THE CHAIR A LITTLE BIT, AND I STARTED TO SAY, "HEY, MOLLY, IS THIS YOUR CHAIR?" Douglas: AT THAT POINT, YOU COULD FEEL A COLD BREEZE, AND THE TEMPERATURE HAD DROPPED FIVE DEGREES ON ONE OF THE SENSORS, AND WE FEL JUST A PRESENCE THERE, AS IS YOU WERE BEING WATCHED OR SOMETHING RIGHT UP AGAINST YOU.
IT'S LIKE YOUR WHOLE BODY WAS GOING NUMB.
Rogers: IT SAID, "ANTHONY.
" Douglas: WHEN SHE SAID MY NAME, I WAS IN SHOCK.
I WAS JUST DUMBSTRUCK.
I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY OR WHAT TO THINK, EVEN.
THAT REALLY SURPRISED ME.
Rogers: AND I TOLD ANTHONY.
I SAYS, "WELL, THEY KNOW YOU'RE HERE.
" SO, THAT WAS PRETTY MUCH A BIG SURPRISE.
THEN I KEPT ON ASKING QUESTIONS AND STUFF.
Douglas: THE SPIRI SPOKE THROUGH THE OVILUS AND SAID, "VIDEO," AND WE KNEW THEY WERE CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT WE WERE DOING THERE, SO WE ASSURED THEM THA WE WEREN'T THERE TO HARM THEM, BUT IT WAS VERY EERIE AND SCARY AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE I DIDN'T EXPEC TO HEAR ANY SPIRIT SPEAK TO ME, ESPECIALLY DIRECTLY.
WE KEPT MOVING FROM ROOM TO ROOM.
I FELT AN OVERWHELMING SENSE OF JUST BEING AFRAID.
I MEAN, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN NEXT.
WE STARTED ASKING THE SPIRI SOME QUESTIONS.
DURING THE WAR OF 1812, JOHN JOHNSTON HAD LOST HIS HOME, AND ONE OF THE INVESTIGATORS ASKED IF HE WAS UPSE ABOUT LOSING EVERYTHING.
WE HEARD A SOBBING NOISE, LIKE SOMEBODY WAS CRYING.
THAT WAS REALLY DISTRESSING BECAUSE IT'S SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T EXPECT TO HEAR.
IT MADE ME FEEL SORRY FOR THEM, AND IT WAS VERY FRIGHTENING.
WE CONTINUED TO WALK THROUGH THE HOUSE, AND CHARLIE HAD ACTUALLY SAID THAT HE WAS FEELING SOME PRESSURE.
Rogers: AS I CAME INTO THIS ROOM WITH A BED, AND I WENT BY JUST THE BED JUST A LITTLE BIT, AND ALL OF A SUDDEN, I GOT A CHILL.
MY HAIR STARTS STANDING UP ON MY NECK.
I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OU WHAT WAS GOING ON.
I SAID, "WELL, THIS MUST BE IT.
THERE MUST BE SOMETHING HERE.
" Douglas: THE NEXT THING I KNOW, I SEEN HIS HEAD WENT BACK, AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON.
WE WERE RECORDING, AND LATER ON, WE LOOKED BACK AT THE VIDEO, AND WE HAD SEEN ORBS OF LIGH DARTING ALL OVER.
YOU COULD SEE THE ORBS FLYING AROUND, AND FLEW RIGHT INTO HIS FACE, AND THEN IT SHOT BACK OFF.
THAT MADE ME REALLY A BELIEVER, BECAUSE I WAS SKEPTICAL.
BUT THEN, WHEN I SEEN CHARLIE JUMP BACK, AND HE COULDN'T SEE THE ORBS, BUT IN THE VIDEO, IT WAS CLEAR THAT HE WAS DODGING IT.
Rogers: I MUST HAVE GO SOMEBODY'S ATTENTION HERE.
I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.
I STARTED TRYING TO ASK OF THE SPIRIT, LIKE, "WHO ARE YOU?" YOU KNOW, "ARE YOU MR.
JOHNSTON? "ARE YOU ONE OF THE FAMILY MEMBERS? ARE YOU ONE OF THE CHILDREN?" Douglas: IT SOUNDED LIKE A PIG SNORT AND WAS DISTURBING.
IT WAS REALLY LOW, AND IT WAS SCARY.
Rogers: YOU HAVE THE PIG-SNORT STUFF, WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY BE AN EVIL OR A DEMON, WHICH WE CERTAINLY DON'T WAN NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.
Douglas: AFTER THAT, WE SHUT IT DOWN.
Rogers: I WAS EXTREMELY RELIEVED WHEN IT WAS TIME TO GO HOME, 'CAUSE IT WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE IN ANYTHING LIKE THIS.
IT WAS NICE TO GO HOME AND GO BACK TO MY ROOM AND HIDE AWAY FOR A WHILE.
IT'S OPENED MY EYES UP QUITE A BIT.
I MEAN, I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THA IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
IT'S KIND OF INTERESTING THAT YOU ACTUALLY SENSE THERE ARE SPIRITS THERE.
Douglas: SINCE THE EXPERIENCE, I AM A BELIEVER IN THE PARANORMAL.
I BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE SPIRITS THERE, AND THEY WANT TO CONTACT US.
Rogers: MY TRAINING IN THE MARINES -- FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS, I DON'T THINK ANY TRAINING COULD HELP YOU WITH THIS, BECAUSE IT'S A WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD ALTOGETHER.
I'VE SEEN A LOT OF THINGS GO DOWN, BUT WHAT I SAW HAPPEN AT THE JOHNSON HOUSE THAT NIGH WILL STAY WITH ME FOREVER.
