The plane, Louie!
Head for the plane!
Oh, Louie!
You animal!
[Baloo] Come to Papa Bear.
Let's ditch this overgrown sandbox, cuz!
I copy!
[mumbling indistinctly] Whoa!
What took you?
I was sandblasting my teeth.
Keep your toes crossed.
I'd cross my eyes if that'd help.
The Lost City.
The bells did unbury it!
Yes! My bells!
What devilry?
Find a way to open this,
Miss Archaeologist.
Ha-ha! I knew
the old Duck could do it.
- [engine sputtering]
- Or not.
You can open your eyes now, Louie.
[Klang] Well, the gate?
This says the whole city is based
on tones, notes, harmonics.
Let me borrow this.
Let her.
[tone echoing]
There. Nothing to it.
Good. You first.
I never really believed it until now.
And somewhere in there is a room.
A room holding a weapon
that will make the world mine!
Now find it.
And maybe I'll let you live.
We've got to get some help
and go after Katie.
Baloo? Baloo?
- What are you doing?
- Waiting for the 2:25 bus.
Snap out of it, cuz!
This is just a mirage.
Doggone it.
Now what am I gonna do
with this bus token I bought?
I sure wish we had made it back
to Ghafia, though.
- For Katie's sake.
- Me, too, cuz.
[coughing] Me too.
Well, is this the weapon house?
I'm not sure.
It has to be! How do I get in?
Do you sing?
I'm serious.
Some sound or chord or note
probably opens it.
According to this, it's a "B."
[sings off-key]
She said "B" not "B flat."
You try.
The weapon! It really exists!
A machine that can destroy anything
with sound waves.
Let us test it.
That's it, roll me over, Lou,
I think I'm done.
[Louie gasps]
Surf's up! Not again!
Oh! It works, it works!
Now nothing can stop me.
- [chimes ringing]
- Stop her!
[indistinct shouting]
Leaving so soon?
Boy! When did we buy a ticket
for the rolly-coaster?
Come on, we gotta tell the police.
[man] Now, let me get this straight.
That earthquake was caused by a weapon
made out of bells
from a sandstorm city
filled with red-robed thugs
and flying beetles?
Pre-tootin'-cisely. So now,
what are you gonna do about it?
[Baloo and Louie shouting]
Watch who you're tossing!
Poor blokes are as loony
as that girl archaeologist.
A bit too much sun,
if you ask me.
- [whizzing sound approaching]
- Is that?
[all yelling]
There seems to be some truth
in your story.
We found this note
tied to the beetle's back.
Yeah, Klang, that's the guy!
And he's got Katie prisoner!
Seems this chap
is giving us till sunset
to pay him ten million guilders.
Otherwise he'll shake the city to dust.
And he's got the blender to do it.
We've got tanks and guns.
I think we can handle it.
So, they're ignoring my ransom note.
[chuckling] The fools.
Oh, shake it, Baloo, we gotta
get Katie before those tanks do.
Now what would Wildcat do?
Instant sand-ectomy.
Pedal to the metal, my man.
Ready aim
[Klang chuckling]
[Louie] I know, I know.
Isn't this getting kind of redundant?
Those meddling pilots!
Unleash the beetles!
Hey! We're in one piece.
Speak for yourself.
My head feels like a maraca.
Look! Katie's city.
Come on, let's find the gal and scram.
Yeah, she probably
misses me something fierce.
Don't flatter yourself.
No one's listening.
[yelling indistinctly]
Then again
See? That was easy.
Help! Get a fly swatter!
Don't thank me yet.
We got bugs in the belfry.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
But I can't have you running off.
You're the reason I have
this wonderful city.
[groans] Tinabula
is an archaeological treasure.
It has secrets and mysteries
that need exploring and
Oh, but we've already found
the secret, Miss Dodd. The weapon!
And the weapon means power,
unstoppable power.
Not if I find the master bell!
Master bell?
What is this?
Speak up!
What do you know?
Gangway! [grunts]
Hey, look what I found!
Baloo! Louie!
Katie! [straining] How do we
get you out of there?
A note. There's a musical note
that opens it.
Allow me.
[laughs] Now I got my hug, too, Baloo.
Well, fine, gloat about it, why
[beetles chittering]
[Louie] Company.
The Duck's this way!
No! First we have to find
the master bell.
Master bell?
According to the legend,
it is the sound that silences all.
It's the only way to stop Klang.
Capture them.
Capture them! [yells]
[bells ringing]
Oh, talk about your sour notes.
I ain't gonna play no swan song
without a tussle.
I'm with you, my man.
Swan song. That's it. Jump!
[Louie and Baloo] Huh?
Katie, we could make
beautiful music together.
A whole city built
on sounds and harmonics.
Where would they hide a bell
large enough to silence it all?
Man, you'd need a chime
as big as this tower.
Baloo, you're right.
It is the tower!
[Katie] This is the master bell!
- You genius!
- That's two, cuz.
How do you ring it?
"The final note falls from above."
[Baloo] The beetle's the bell clapper.
Must be a release lever
or something on top!
Oh, no. You ain't playing hero
on this one.
I'll flip you for it.
Hey, we use my coin this time. Heads.
- It's heads.
- Later, my man.
I'm off to ring some chimes.
[Katie] Do be careful, Louie.
Wait a minute.
It's a trick coin!
So sue me!
Besides, you're a better pilot,
- go fly!
- For once, he's right.
Nothing like
working without a net. [chuckles]
Wait, Baloo.
My bells.
Leave them, sweetheart,
we gotta scoot!
No. I need them to prove
I found this place.
I wonder why they were left here.
Because I knew you'd stop for them.
Pity you'll never
leave this place alive.
Speaking of places,
you ever been to Fist City?
[whimpering] Now I know
why they call him "Klang."
Enough comedy. Goodbye.
Duck, Baloo!
[groaning] This is getting
too exciting for me.
In! In!
- Are we gonna make it?
- With one engine and no runway?
Probably not.
They shall pay for their impertinence.
What is that fool doing?
The master bell!
Come on, baby.
Come on, baby!
- [cave rumbling]
- Whoa!
I shall not miss again.
We gotta get to Louie!
So how do I get this rock rolling, man?
Jump, Louie!
[deep tone resounds]
[all ringing]
Can't you fly any higher, Baloo?
Only one engine!
What are you, nuts, lady?
No. The bells.
No, no, no. No!
That's the last we'll ever see
of our old buddy, Klang.
Tinabula, a lost city again.
So, after I take Katie dancing,
I figured we'd eat at the Kasbah Club.
Well, it's gonna be
a lonely dinner, fuzzy,
considering I'm taking her to the Ritz.
[bells chiming]
Baloo, Louie, you'll never believe it!
The Ghafian Museum has asked me
to give a lecture on Tinabula tonight!
- Tonight?
- "Tonight" tonight?
- You mean in a little while?
- Yes! Isn't that wonderful?
- But
- I was hoping that would happen.
I knew you'd understand.
Thank you. Thank you, both.
This never could have happened
without you two.
Women. Go figure them.
[both sigh]
Well So, what do you
want to do for the rest of our vacation?
- Anything but treasure hunting, Baloo.
- Right.
And no more falling for pretty faces.
Psst. Excuse me. Did I hear you
mention treasure hunting?
It just so happens I have this map.
Oh, what did I say?
