I'm not gonna stop until I find
out what happened to your sister.
I ain't got nothing to say to
you or her whack job sister.
(GRUNTS)
I'm gonna prove it was you.
Remember that case
you asked me to look into?
Gina Picket?
KEATON: I got something.
Show me.
KEATON: Wakey, wakey, Silva.
Tell him what you told me.
SILVA: He wanted us
to call him "Teacher."
You're gonna have to do
better than that.
(GROANS)
SILVA: He kept a long line
of pretty boys to do his bidding.
And what does this have to do
with Gina Picket?
SILVA: He made Whales lure her
to some place he liked.
He called it the Farm.
- Said he planted things there.
- COLTER: Gina Picket.
Is she alive?
Yeah, I got it, Mom.
Your sugar-free jam.
I know what it looks like.
No, that wasn't on the list.
I'm already checked out.
I'm not going back in.
(PHONE BEEPS OFF)
- What the (GASPS)
- (GAS HISSING)
(GRUNTING) Stop!
(GROANS)
How'd you find Silva's name?
It never came up in all
the years I've been looking.
Silva's name popped on a sealed
juvenile crime database.
Something you don't have access to.
Hmm.
Called in a favor, had him search it.
Looked at your case file here,
got a couple questions.
So
I wasn't there.
I want to hear you tell it to me
the way you remember it a decade ago.
(SIGHS)
October 15, 2014.
Gina Picket, age 19,
is working at the Hot Topic
at the Welltown Mall.
Shift ended at 6:00 p.m.
She leaves the building at 6:10 p.m.
Now, mall surveillance sees her
in the mall parking lot
headed to her car,
except she never made it there.
She disappeared into a blind spot,
never to be seen again.
Next day, the car's found when
her sister goes looking for her.
Police were called to the scene.
And nobody around Gina
or following her
on the surveillance video?
Nope.
I went through hours of footage
from those mall cameras, all
of them, and I got nothing.
Nothing.
But
her manager told the cops
that Gina mentioned seeing a guy
hanging around outside the store
the week before she disappeared.
Yes. And the police pulled
that store footage.
They ID'd the guy as Frank Whales.
Now, Frank had a prior in Kentucky
for sexually assaulting
his teenage neighbor.
Police looked into Whales,
checked his whereabouts,
he wasn't at the mall
the day Gina vanished.
I'm not buying it,
there's no coincidence.
He was there every day except that one,
and then not after?
Oh, I'm with you.
He's definitely involved.
Next question.
(SCOFFS)
That store is right next
to the loading dock.
If she clocked out at 6:00,
why'd it take her ten minutes
to make it to the parking lot?
I don't know, I had the same question.
I asked the store manager, and she said
sometimes the employees would go
back to the stockroom,
grab their personal stuff. I thought
she got delayed, got hung up there,
- I-I-I don't know.
- Mm
My high school job
at Sam's Feed and Supply?
Minute my shift ended,
I was out of there
like a bat out of hell.
- Yeah.
- (PHONE BUZZES)
That's Camille. I'm gonna take this.
Give me a minute?
Mm-hmm.
COLTON: Camille.
CAMILLE: Got your message.
What's going on?
Think I got something
About Gina?
- Maybe.
- How?
Doesn't matter.
Come on, Colter, don't give me that.
All I need to know is
did Gina ever mentioned
the name Alex Silva?
No.
Are you sure?
He was a buddies with Frank Whales.
He knew about Gina.
What do you mean?
Well, I don't know yet,
but he knew things.
(SIGHS)
Colter, I can't.
I just can't do this anymore.
Did you not hear anything I said before?
I did.
- I did.
- It's gonna be another dead end.
And what if it's not a dead end?
Until you find something
solid about Gina, something
some real evidence,
I don't want to hear about it.
(PHONE BEEPS OFF)
Okay.
How'd that go?
She know anything about Silva?
No. No.
(SIGHS)
This is bothering me.
Silva said that
Frank Whales lured her in.
What if
What if Gina wasn't taken
from the mall parking lot?
What if she went somewhere willingly?
She was kidnapped from there?
That would explain
the delay in her leaving.
I mean, maybe she needed time
to get dolled up,
heading out to go
somewhere, meet someone
But
"He lured her in."
What'd he use for bait?
I think it's time to go pay
Frank Whales another visit.
(SNORING)
- Frank.
- (GASPS)
You and I need to talk.
(PANTS)
Don't worry about your dog.
The dog will wake up in a couple hours.
Who's that?
COLTER: Don't worry about him.
Tell me about Alex Silva.
I don't know what you're talking about.
He says you lured Gina
away from the mall.
- No, I didn't.
- KEATON: Boy
you are gonna tell us about the Teacher.
That's right.
We know you were working with him.
(SNORES SOFTLY)
(FILTERED BREATHING)
(MUFFLED): Hello, Brandon.
How do you know my name?
I know everything about you.
You know, you're very special.
I think you and I
are gonna be very good friends.
You already searched my house.
You know there's nothing to find.
Unless you kept it on your person.
Sparkly hairpin?
You wear a lot of those, Frank?
Belonged to Gina.
She was wearing it
when she left the mall.
Why do you have it?
It's a trophy.
(GROANING)
Sick freaks like him
always keep trophies.
It's not a trophy.
- It's a reminder.
- KEATON: Of what?
All the depraved stuff
you did to that girl?
No. Of something I regret.
This links you to Gina.
The day she disappeared. Now
we can walk this straight
to the police station,
or you can start talking.
There's two ways out of this, Frank.
Bullet or the truth, hmm?
(SIGHS)
Okay, I was with Gina.
But I wasn't the one who hurt her.
Keep talking.
FRANK: It was this older guy.
I met him 11 years ago
when he snatched me up
from a rest stop bathroom.
Silva told us about it.
A guy named the Teacher.
Yeah. That's all I knew.
You expect us to believe you didn't know
the name of your partner?
FRANK: He wasn't my partner.
I wasn't working with him,
I was working for him.
Finding girls.
You're gonna start by telling us
what happened to Gina.
(SIGHS)
First time I saw Gina,
I knew right away
she was his type.
I showed him a picture of her.
He was pleased.
He had me follow her,
learn what she liked,
where she lived.
I did.
Then he told me
it was time for me to prove my loyalty.
Parked in a blind spot near
the loading dock that day,
so the security cameras
- wouldn't catch me.
- Hey.
- How are you?
- Good.
There's no way she would've
gotten into your car willingly.
She told the store manager
you were weird.
FRANK: Like I said,
he had me look into what she liked.
I told her I was working
for a local band she loved.
Said they were planning a secret show
Where was it again?
a small venue
out in the country,
hardcore fans only,
to try new material out.
- Okay.
- It's close.
It worked. She believed me.
- Seatbelt.
- Yeah.
Silva told us this
this place called the Farm.
Is that where you took her?
Yeah.
She took her coat off.
She wanted to get noticed
by the band and asked me
Do I look okay?
- Yeah, you look great.
- Yeah.
Okay.
- FRANK: She asked
- Are you coming?
FRANK: I told her we were
the first to arrive
and I had to stay out here
and wait on the other guests.
Okay, I'll see you later.
- See you later.
- (CHUCKLES SOFTLY)
FRANK: I thought about telling
her she dropped her hairpin.
Maybe if she'd gotten back
in the car,
I would've just driven her away.
But I didn't.
I don't know what happened
to her after that.
Yeah, you do.
No, I don't.
You sent her in there alone,
into the arms of a monster, Frank.
I didn't have a choice.
He made me do it.
He have a gun to your head?

He might as well have.
Look, maybe I kept that hairpin
- out of guilt
- (KEATON SCOFFS)
You're a real piece of garbage,
you know that?
I'm gonna put an end to you
right here, right now.
Wait.
We need you, Frank.
I don't know what else
you guys want from me, man.
I told you everything I know.
We ain't done with you,
pal, not by a long shot.
You're gonna show us
where this Teacher is.
I told you, I ain't seen him in years.
- (TRUCK DOOR OPENS)
- (KEATON GRUNTS)
(TRUCK DOOR CLOSES)
We'd be doing society a favor
taking him deep into the woods
and putting him out of his misery.
No, we're gonna use him,
to find the Teacher.
(PHONE BUZZING)
Bobby, any luck?
Maybe. I found a crime chat forum.
- About the Teacher?
- BOBBY: Yeah.
Some guy was posting about
being the victim of the Teacher.
Says he helped him lure young girls.
You get a name?
Screen name only.
It's been dormant for years.
His last post was pretty dark, though.
Talked about killing himself.
Other than that,
I just have a few threads.
Amateur crime junkies
talking about the Teacher.
One of them thinks
that this missing girl
near St. Louis three days ago,
Hannah Olson,
fits the MO.
So he's still out there hunting.
Most likely.
You got an idea where
this guy's operating from?
Not yet. Boards are all encrypted
and they use tracker blockers and VPNs.
It's hard to get a trail.
- But I'll keep digging.
- All right, keep me posted.
Thanks, Bobby. Let's go.
(SIGHS)
What are you gonna do to me?
You're gonna show us where
this Farm is, Frank.
I want to know exactly
where you took Gina.
When was the last time he contacted you?
When he sent me
that bag of dirt you found.
Six months ago.
It was dirt from the field
where he buried his victims.
To remind me that I'd done bad things,
and I'd better keep my mouth shut.
Smart, using guys like you
and Silva to do the hard part.
I didn't have a choice.

Everybody has a choice.
Yeah, you think that, until you don't.
One time,
this guy saw us take a girl.
The Teacher followed him home,
slit his throat in the shower.
And you didn't try to stop him?
Stop him?
He made me watch.
Even the worst I saw
in juvie didn't compare.
It's here.
(INSECTS TRILLING)
This is where you took Gina? You sure?
Yeah.
Ready when you are.
(SIGHS)
I don't like this.
No.

- There's no one here.
- Yeah.
No one been here for a while.
You find anything?
Maybe.
This wood here, right?
Looks newer than this stuff
up here, doesn't it?
Yeah. Shoddy work, too.
Like somebody was in a hurry.
Here we go.

(SIGHS)
Oh, what the hell?
God.
(GRUNTS)
Camcorder tapes.
Names on them.
(SIGHS)
- KEATON: Thank you.
- (SIREN WAILING)
So, prelim forensics
shows the body in there
is not Gina, it's a young male.
Whales's replacement, maybe.
Yeah, sheriffs found an ID in the barn
for a guy reported missing
in Arkansas five years ago.
Matches the age of the corpse.
I need to see what's on those tapes.
I swear, if you let me go,
I won't tell anyone.
I-I'll say I got lost.
TEACHER (MUFFLED):
You didn't answer my question.
Who is the most important
person in your life?
It's my sister.
Camille.
TEACHER: I believe you.
M-Maybe
you can save yourself.
Please, please, please,
I'll do anything you want.
(TEACHER LAUGHS)
Someone was taken from me
when I was young.
I want you to feel that pain.
Tell me about Camille
and you can go free.
You stay away from her, you freak!
Don't touch her, you sick
Oh, God.
I'm sorry you had to see that.
No, I'm glad you showed me.
KEATON: Appreciate you helping us,
Sheriff.
You got it. Hope it works out.
Thank you.
Excuse me. Shaw? Got a minute?
- One second. Yeah?
- Mm-hmm.
- Yeah.
- Well,
Whales is in custody,
but he clammed up real quick.
Good news is, Sheriff Yates
is old-school like me.
He understands the situation,
so he's gonna give us some leash.
Six hours before he has to call in FBI.
Okay. I've got my people
figuring out who owns that barn.
In the meantime, you think
we could get somebody here
to run Silva, Whales and that dead guy
through a criminal database,
see if there's any crossover?
Sure thing. Meanwhile,
I'm-a go back,
talk to the neighbors at that barn.
I'll meet up with you
as soon as I can. Thanks.
(SIGHS)
Listen, it's just a video.
We don't know what happened after.
I told you I wanted you
to stop looking for her.
I know you did. I know you did, I-I
No. I want you to do whatever it takes
to find her and put that monster away.
I promise.
(FILTERED BREATHING)
TEACHER (MUFFLED):
You don't need to be afraid.
Everything I've done's been for you.
Do you understand that?
Yes, Teacher.
Good.
We have work to do.
Are you ready?
- Hey.
- Thanks for coming.
- I know this a weird one.
- Yeah.
Bobby filled me in. What do you
want me to get from Whales?
You said help him,
but after what he did, I
I need information.
I thought you said he talked.
He did. I think he knows
more than he's saying.
He's terrified of this Teacher.
I think he might be more forthcoming
with a-a lawyer that's on his side.
Hold on.
You want me to pretend to represent him
to get him to give up info?
I want you to do whatever it takes.
Colter, that would be highly unethical.
Come here.
This man
lured a 19-year-old girl
into the clutches of a predator.
Okay, look,
if I'm gonna do this,
it's gonna be aboveboard.
He will be my actual client,
I will not violate
attorney-client privilege.
Okay.
Cooperating with the investigation
would be to his benefit.
I might be able to convince him.
(SIGHS) Thank you.
Let's see how it goes.
(PHONE BUZZING)
- Velma, you find anything?
- VELMA (OVER PHONE): Yes.
The title of the barn
where Frank Whales took Gina
was in an old trust
that hadn't been updated online.
So nothing yet?
I had somebody from the county
dig up the original paperwork.
The owner of the property
is a guy named Patrick Campbell.
And get this: he has a record.
- Yeah? What for?
- Indecent exposure.
Voyeurism. The guy's a Peeping Tom.
But no jail time.
You got a current address?
Yeah, I do.
It's not too far from you.
Okay, great. Thank you.
(LINE RINGING)
KEATON: Colter. You on your way?
Yeah, I got the name
of the owner of the barn.
Could be the Teacher.
I'm sending you the address.
- Meet me there.
- (CALL BEEPS OFF)
FRANK: Why would
Colter Shaw send you here?
Because I'm the best.
Believe me, you want me on your side.
You care what happens to me?
As far as I'm concerned,
you deserve to rot in prison.
But I do believe you have
the right to a fair trial.
The sheriffs are looking
the guy you call the Teacher.
Okay, you flip on him,
I'll make sure they cut you a deal.
- You can get me off?
- No.
But I can keep you out of max.
Drastically reduce your sentence.
(SIGHS)
Look.
I'm sure it's been a while
since you've had someone in your corner.
But I can help you.
They think he's taken another girl,
Hannah Olson.
(SIGHS)
What do I got to do?
Just tell me about this Teacher.
He took me when I was young.
Forced me to do things for him.
You didn't try to get away?
I thought about it, but
He had this power over me,
I can't explain it.
Even now?
(BIRDS CALLING)
Can I help you?
Yeah, maybe. I'm looking
for Patrick Campbell.
- Does he live here?
- He sure does.
He's got a lot of visitors today.
Come on in.
Thank you.
Patrick's daughter and
her family are already here.
COLTER: So this is a
private nursing home?
- Sally Anne's Place?
- It sure is.
I'm Sally Anne. Patrick's out back.
Thank you.
Excuse me.
Patrick, you've got another visitor.
I'll let you all catch up.
(CHUCKLES)
I'm sorry, who are you?
I'm Colter Shaw.
Are you Patrick's daughter?
Yeah, I'm Kayla.
This is my husband Noah.
- Hi.
- COLTER: Hi.
I understand Patrick owns a barn
off Highway 39 in Emeryville.
Yeah, what's this about?
There was a body, a dead body,
of a young man found on the property.
Oh, my God. That
That's unbelievable.
NOAH: Are you a cop?
No, no. I'm working with them, though.
Obviously, my father has
nothing to do with it.
He has dementia.
Alzheimer's.
COLTER: Sorry to hear that.
The crime happened five years ago.
And he's been living here
for the last 15.
Do you mind answering me,
who takes care of the property?
We live in Chicago.
W-We don't get out here too often.
Sort of
let the property fall into disrepair.
Yeah, it's been hard to keep it up
other than paying the taxes.
We tried to get him to sell years ago,
but he refused.
- Mm.
- KAYLA: It's been in the family
a really long time.
- Oh.
- Whoop.
- You guys Sorry about that.
- It's all right.
NOAH: Come on.
Mom and Dad are talking here, okay?
Please, can you just take it back a bit?
Thank you.
- Go.
- (KAYLA CHUCKLES)
(CHUCKLES) Sorry about that.
- It's okay.
- (KAYLA SIGHS)
Uh, is there anyone living
at the property now?
No, it should be empty.
Well, maybe squatters.
We've been worried about that
for a long time.
(PATRICK MOANS)
KAYLA: Wait, what is it, Dad?
PATRICK: Um
Was there someone living in the barn?
Uh
Dad?
Did you let someone live in the barn?
Yeah?
Who was it?
Um
(GRUNTS) Uh
It was you.
It's all your fault.
(INDISTINCT CHATTER)
- You already talk to the guy?
- Yeah, nothing.
Guy's got dementia.
He's been living in this nursing
home for the past 15 years.
- So an absentee owner?
- Yeah.
Which means anybody could've
been using that barn.
Dead end.
Remember you asked
to look for any crossovers
between Whales, Silva and the dead guy?
It turns out all of them are
on the sex offender registry.
Well, they all met the Teacher
about the same age.
All looked approachable enough, right?
What are you thinking?
That registry's public.
Names, addresses
What if the Teacher is using it
as a hunting ground?
That'd be a good place to find
your next disciple, wouldn't it?
Kidnap him, brainwash him?
So they could lure in girls
for the sick bastard.
Sheriff's detective sent me this.
Brandon Stokes, 21.
Also on the sex offender registry
for online solicitation.
Week ago, his mother reported
that he stole her car and vanished.
- Maybe he was grabbed.
- COLTER: Mm.
We find him, we find the Teacher.
We find Hannah Olson.
Well, that detective
subpoenaed the cell phone company.
We're just waiting for
a location on Brandon's phone.
Can you send that to me?
- I got to show Reenie.
- Yep.
(TYPING)
(TEXT WHOOSHES)
REENIE: Looks like the
Teacher has a new disciple.
Brandon Stokes.
Kind of reminds me of you.
Had a rough childhood, too.
You got any idea where
the Teacher would've taken him?
(SIGHS HEAVILY)
You can save Brandon from
what you went through, Frank.
Frank, I am trying to help you
help yourself here.
You do not owe this Teacher any loyalty.
Think about what he did to you.
Think about it.
Don't you want him to pay for it?
(SIGHS)
You want to plead the Fifth?
That's your right, okay?
Let me just tell you
what's gonna happen.
They're gonna say that the Teacher
is a figment of your imagination.
And then you're gonna go down
for the murder of Gina Picket
all by yourself based on
circumstantial evidence.
That what you want?
(SIGHS)
Okay, I'll talk.
Good.
But only to Colter Shaw.
(INDISTINCT CHATTER)
Just got Brandon Stokes's
cell phone location.
- Want to head out? Let's go.
- REENIE: Colter.
Whales knows something.
I He won't tell me,
says he'll only talk to you.
- You go ahead. I got this.
- Yeah.
- Ma'am.
- Yeah.
Here we go.
Uh, wait.
Something just doesn't feel right.
I think Whales is still under
the Teacher's spell.
Was he in contact with him?
No, but what if he wants to be?
What if he's still trying
to protect him?
You know, you can just
let the sheriffs handle this.
No. No, I'll do it.
Okay, Frank, I'm here.
Talk.
Don't you waste my time, Frank.
Tell me something about the Teacher.
I know where he was keeping Gina.
Where'd he take Gina?
I don't know the address,
but I could show you, in person.
You better not be
messing with me, Frank.
'Cause right now,
I'm the only one stopping Keaton
from marching you straight
into the woods and shooting you.
I just want this to be over with.
Okay.
I doubt the sheriff's
gonna let you go, but
it's worth a shot.
- Always knew this day would come.
- (TEXT WHOOSHES)
My reckoning.
- Could've stopped it, Frank.
- (SCOFFS)
But I didn't.
Maybe this is my second chance.
The hell did he do to you?
He saw me,
for who I really am.
Every shameful secret.
And I didn't have to say a word.
He could see right into me.
Told me I was special.
He knows the worst things I've done.
He still said I was perfect.
You can't imagine what that felt like.
At one point, he was like
the father I never had.
Why'd he say you were
no longer useful to him?
He couldn't rely on me.
I got too old.
I'd seen too much.
He let you go?
Physically,
yeah.
(PHONE BUZZES)
It's your lucky day.
Let's go.
(INSECTS TRILLING)
(ENGINE SHUTS OFF)
Is this where he took Gina?
It's an old hospital.
There's a nurse's station upstairs.
I can show you. Let me help you.
There's another way to get inside.
Please.
You stay here.
Come on, man, let me help you.
Come on, I can help you!
Come on, man, you need me!
(PANTING)

(CREAKING)

(MUFFLED WAILING)
(LOUDER, MUFFLED WHIMPERING)
It's okay! You're okay!
You're okay, you're okay.
You're okay. I'm not gonna hurt you.
I'm not gonna hurt you.
Are you Hannah Olson?
- Yeah.
- Yeah?
- Are you, are you with him?
- No.
No, I'm here to help you.
(EXHALES)
Is anyone else with you?
I don't, I don't think so.
I didn't think anyone would find me.
- You're safe now, okay?
- (PHONE BUZZING)
One second, one second.
Keaton?
Found Brandon's phone
ditched by the side of the road.
No sign of him, though.
Heard you drove off with Whales.
Yeah, I found
the Teacher's latest victim.
She's alive.
Oh, thank God. Where the hell are you?
Old abandoned hospital off of Route 19.
I think it's his lair.
Listen, I'm gonna need
some backup and, uh,
send me an ambulance.
On my way.
- (DOOR THUDS)
- (YELPS)
- Wait, wait here.
- (GAS HISSING)
Okay, cover your mouth.
Cover your mouth now!
(COUGHING, GRUNTS)
Come on.
Let's go. (COUGHING)
(BOTH COUGHING)
(COUGHING)
(RETCHES, COUGHS)
Help's on the way, stay put.
(COUGHING)
(GRUNTS)
(BOTH GRUNTING)
(SHOUTS)
(GROANING)
(GUNSHOT)
COLTER: Frank?
Wait.
Frank?
Stop.
(COUGHING)
(PANTING)
Frank.
What are you doing?
You monster!
What does it look like I'm doing?
I came here to kill you.
To redeem myself.
Or I'll never be free.
No.
Frank.
Put the gun down.
Put it down.
Go ahead.
Don't be afraid.
Yes, Teacher.
Frank, where have you been?
I was so hoping you'd come back.
I thought about you.
I thought about you every day.
(EXHALES)
Let me look at you.
It's okay.
Still
so
perfect.
(GRUNTS, GASPS)
(SHOUTS)
(PANTING)
(WHEEZES)

No!
No! No, no! No, no!
No way, no way, get your ass down!
What'd you do to Gina?!
(SIRENS WAILING)
REENIE: Noah Darview.
He's an anesthesiologist.
Worked as a traveling doctor
for a locum tenens company.
Found his victims in several states,
which made it hard to link them.
COLTER: When he was younger
and he first started doing this,
he would get his own victims.
As he got older,
he would recruit disciples.
Young men to do his bidding for him.
REENIE: He would also use them as cover.
Noah was never
at any of the crime scenes
that the girls disappeared from,
so he was never even a suspect.
And the sheriff said
he confessed to killing Gina?
He did.
He also admitted where
he buried the bodies.
In a field behind the old hospital.
It's good that you were there.
So you were able to find
the girl that he did have.
- What was her name?
- Hannah?
- Hannah.
- Yeah.
His latest disciple
picked her up from a bus stop.
The police didn't have any leads.
Without Gina, we never
would've found Hannah.
So in a way, Gina helped save her.
Yeah.
CAMILLE:
Gina was younger than me,
but she was
fiercely protective,
like she was the big sister.
I remember one time,
I brought a guy home.
A guy that I really liked.
(CHUCKLES SOFTLY)
And she made me leave the room
while she grilled him.
(LAUGHS)
They were there forever.
And neither of them would ever
spill what she asked him,
but afterwards, she said
he passed the test.
- (INDISTINCT CHATTER)
- Um, I'll be right back.
She asked me if I had a criminal record.
(LAUGHS) And?
And that's why
the conversation took so long.
I gave her every infraction.
Mostly breaking and entering.
But, uh, I got a better lawyer now,
so my record's pretty clean.
(CHUCKLES)
Thanks for not giving up on her.
On me.
So what's next?
Now, I I think I'm gonna travel.
- Really?
- Yeah.
- Oh.
- Mm-hmm.
Well, you got free
accommodations anywhere
inside the continental U.S. if you like.
Thanks, but I'm, I'm thinking
more Europe, Asia, South America.
Yeah.
Never wanted to stray
far from home before
in case she came back.
This isn't goodbye forever, you know.
I think you're gonna miss it here.
(LAUGHS)
Apple pie, hot dogs.
I know.
And when I do, I will call you.
Okay.
Keaton?
Thank you.
- Couldn't have done it without you.
- (SIGHS)
They never end the way you want 'em to.
Happy?
(LAUGHS)
I gave up on that a long time ago.
Well, now I know.
Better than the alternative, though.
It was good working with you.
Look, if I ever find myself
in a bind again,
you'll be my first call.
You know my number.
(ENGINE STARTS)
